So supposedly the World Government created the Shichibukai System at the begining of the Great Pirate era, right? Roger's execution caused a massive influx of pirates to go out to the seas to try and claim One Piece, so between that and the threat of the Yonkou the World Government wanted to get things "back in balance", thus they began recruiting some of the most powerful, willing pirates to "join" their side. And so we got our funny little Warlords

If Crocodile did really set out on his funny little adventure immidiately after Roger's execution then he would've been offered the position of a Shichibukai within that first year of his pirating career, so it is actually very plausible Crocodile could be one of the true original Seven Warlords the WG picked out. But like, yeah, that leaves me wondering who the remaining six might've been. Who were the original Seven Warlords the World Government chose?

'Cause we know Hancock, Jinbei, Doflamingo and Kuma joined 13-4 years ago (respectively), so at least four of the original positions have been replaced at least once, if not more. Like for all we know the Shichibukai from the begining of the series could've been the third or fourth "generation" of Warlords

But also. We don't know when Mihawk nor Moria joined the Shichibukai. They could be people who took seats from previous Warlords like the others, or, for all we know, they could be from that original "first generation" of Shichibukai like Crocodile. They're both in the same age range (Mihawk a smidge younger than Croc and Moria a smidge older) and both were also present at Roger's execution (of course so was Doflamingo and he got his position only like 10 years ago, so being at the execution doesn't mean that much) so it is fairly plausible, they do fit the bill.

If Moria and Mihawk were from that "original generation of Shichibukai" then that would leave us with just a minimum of four "missing warlords" for Oda to reveal (and I'm sure Mr Burns, whose position went to Kuma after Ace kicked their ass, is one of them). Not that I'd mind if there were more, I just don't really need more either.

Thing is though. If Crocodile, Mihawk and Moria were all from that "first generation" of Shichibukai... Okay I know this sounds stupid as hell but as a trio, I think those three in particular could be kind of comparable to Luffy-Law-Kid, right. 'Cause you got the Crocodad, the Reasonable Swordsman, and the Angy Edgelord. Right. Like they are kind of comparable in that sense, right.

I think it'd be kind of cute. If Croc-Hawk-Moria were the Luffy-Law-Kid Disaster Trio of their era. And yeah that alone kind of makes me wish they were Warlords Together, From The Begining

Ok so I'm most of the way through the live action ATLA and no it's not perfect, some of the acting is a little oof but overall it's pretty good? The costumes, the sets all the older actors for the most part. Some of the cg needed a little more time and all of these streaming shows could benefit from a few more episodes, but the way they've combined storyline and episodes to try and fit things in in a coherent way, some of the changes they've made I like quite a bit.

Yall trying to act like it's the same level of bad as the movie are actively delusional and need to take of the nostalgia goggles.

A short ficlet with gender neutral reader venting to Art about people who have treated them badly. And Art... Well, he’s more than happy to oblige the readers request. No warnings listed. Lightly proofread, forgive any errors.

Not everyone out there in the world has good intentions, you’ve learned through experience and trauma. 

Art is one of those people who have zero good intentions, but you’ve been blessed that he’s on your side. You’ve told him plenty of times about the people in your life that made it miserable, and he wasn’t one of them. You’ve vented to him before about it, and he’s listened diligently while sharpening his weapons, giving nods of acknowledgement in the past as he takes his time working on the next set of instruments to cause misery and pain among his next set of unwitting victims. He knew their names. He knew where you encountered them often if they were faces you would see regularly. For those you were most unfamiliar with and were merely hurtful in passing, he took note of where it last happened. His memory is as sharp as any blade. He’s a predator first and foremost. 

Art’s been the only one who has looked out for you in the way that no one else has. He’s your protector. Your guardian. He’s farthest from an angel, but to you, he might as well have been.  You don’t know why, but you don’t question it. 

You remember the night that you busted into his lair in the middle of the night, crying your eyes out until they were red and trails of snot were running down your face. You looked hideous as grief rippled throughout your body. When you pressed your head into his chest and sobbed, he let you. He stood there firm, a pillar of strength. You’re strong, but even the strongest have the days that they need to break down. Art’s embrace is warm as he runs his hand through your hair and rubs the space on your back between your shoulder blades. 

He smelled like iron tonight. Like blood, but no sight of blood on him tonight to be found. 

Your sobs were ugly and raw, shaking your frame as you let all the anguish leave your frail mortal form. You know you’re getting snot and tears on his clown outfit, but mucus in particular didn’t bother him at all. That was probably one of the least disgusting things he usually comes in contact with. 

“I just want them to go away.” You told him, after explaining what happened through hiccups. “I want them to hurt like how they hurt me.” 

Whoever hurt you, whether it be family, friends, coworkers, teachers–none of them would stand a chance. Not anymore. After crying and crying and crying until you couldn’t squeeze anymore tears out of your eyes, you let fatigue be the calm that washed over you as you stood there in silence, in Art’s arms, speaking to him initially muffled as you kept yourself against his chest, until you pulled away just enough to look at him. 

His gaze was locked onto you, and it’s like he’s piercing through your soul in a way that his knives never could. You saw it, and it was subtle. A glint in his eye. One that you knew too well of what it meant, like an unspoken way of acknowledgement.

He’d take care of it for you. 

Anything for you. 

Anything to indulge in his insidious nature, while he was at it. 

For now, he was focused on you, letting you get out all your feelings until he’s able to break the ice with some humor, whether it be through making faces or squishing your own face and then lifting the corner of your lips up until it’s a smile. You finally relented and let happiness in, having laughed and sniffled your last few sad sniffles.

He’d send you off after he lifted your spirits up just enough to where you could get back home and tuck yourself in bed for the night and fall asleep with a somewhat clear mind. 

Your mind would be significantly clearer than last night when you turned on the news in the morning and saw the face of someone you recognized–someone you knew at least well enough to associate with unpleasant feelings. 

He had a list, and he was plucking them off one by one.

He is so baby-faced. He hasn't changed at all since he was 22, to when he died of "old age" at 40

(Old age? With a face like that? 40 years old?? Gimme that kind of youth and hotness Shinomori-)

He has tiny eyebrows. Like a puppy's (rottweiler's, for example). So cute and tiny and fuffy

He naturally frowns. Look at him and his mouth and his lil nose

He has a thing about keeping his arms near his chest. He sits with his arms crossed, introduces himself with his hands over his torso, and even walks with his arms crossed toward Midoriya

He has such clear skin for someone who lived the rest of his life in a forest??? Why do Hikage and Yoichi have such nice skin despite living in terrible environments? (forest and vault + abandoned streets respectively)

Is easily scared

They knew their Quirks could be used, but Shinomori got scared of it when it happened. Even though he gave Midoriya his support and access to his Quirk beforehand. Depending on the translation; "it startled me", "you scared me", "it surprised me"

I'm not going to hold running from AFO against him because he knew he was running for his life. Who wouldn't run for their life when it's in danger? Shinomori was being chased by the strongest person in the country (and likely the world)

His sense of self-preservation is probably heightened by the nature of his Quirk to keep him out of danger too. Which makes him all the more sensitive and jumpy to danger and anything that startles him, especially when he has no warning

He's actually extremely tall, but is so socially inept and jumpy it's adorable. He's taller than Bruce.

Bruce is as tall as a vault door that the 2m AFO used.

It's also adorable how Shinomori just doesn't understand social conventions sometimes. He lived in a forest, so it made sense, but also— Midoriya shows up in the void to the vestige platform for the first time. He has no mouth, no clothes—and Shinomori's first idea is to stand in front of him menacingly and go: "I shall explain. I am Shinomori Hikage." SIRRRR

His Ability is basically like glorified anxiety. What if something is coming to hurt him? If something can hurt him? What if that tree falls while he's under it? And the ideas come so hard they hurt (although yes, it does detect ill intent and that's what sets it off)

He talks weirdly. Formal? Old-fashioned? Listening to him speak Japanese compared to others, it just sounds a bit different. (Translated subs don't show it very well, it's the voice itself methinks)

Kinda wise or sage-y. He did spend his life in solitude in the forests so he definitely spent a lot of time with his own thoughts. Maybe he found the meaning of life in a centipede or something one day

Fuck Sweden as a nation for turning the woobification of our history and culture into one of our greatest exports, pretending to be wholesome and peaceful while profiting from conflicts elsewhere. So, here's my plan:

I am going write down everything I'm doing around the house for the next few months, making sure that I do everyhing PERFECTLY, following EVERY SINGLE RULE my roomate made up, and even signing all the dates where I am not in the house (like when I am in my hometown, or even when it's a full day in university if I go out early morning and come back late evening) just to make sure that the times I got nothing done I got a valid reason (I fucking wasn't there).

I am going to do all of this, writing everything down as backup because my memory is shit, and the next time my roomate acts like a bitch and complains about whatever the drama of the day is I am going ballistic. I will have my backup and I will be ready to defend myself with concrete proof because I AM DONE.

And if she's still acting all cold and resentful, all because last time I dared to defend myself and talk back, then she's the problem. And I will tell her to her fucking face: if you're not able to see a genuine attempt at making things right and the good will to want make up for past mistakes (even if she fucking exagerated them, but I will cut this part out for the sake of peace), and everything is always bad and wrong, then you are the problem.

It's not my fault if you're never happy, and it's not my job to make you feel better.

#mine #last night after putting it off for essentially as long as i possibly could because i knew it would decimate me #i finally attacked c4z4dor and (of course) kept ast4r10n as a spawn and basically finished up his quest #FUUUUCK ME DUDE....i knew what was coming in advance but that did not make it any less impactful #i mean holy shit the writing on this guy......the fucking graveyard scene (DO NOT GET ME STARTED)... #and of course neil's performance ohhh my god he deserves every award he can possibly have #god i love asta so much i'm literally never going to be the same this game is soooo insane #the only things i have left are the house of hope and then disabling the foundry and killing gort and doing the final fight stuff #i am ... nervous lol #ive heard the raphael fight is HAAAAAAAAARD #i'll find a way... #i think in the future i may reorder my act 3 quests i think it would be interesting to tackle some (ex companion quests or raphael) #sooner in the story #shadowhearts quest was like...3rd or 4th last thing i did cause i think i did that and then ansur and then astarion #i'm actually SO excited to replay the game i think im gonna have the time of my life doing roleplay and making diff choices #plus i know i missed a TON of stuff in this run so its gonna be fun to see what else is out there #after this im planning to do my first durge run which is REALLY exciting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #i may do another regular tav run simultaneously but not totally sure.... #anyway yeah... awesome game everyone should buy it and play it its on sale right now go buy it and play it
