#vashwood #vash the stampede #nicholas d wolfwood #trigun #trigun maximum #this is such a random piece but i just wanted to draw these versions of them... #usually im a double angel vw kind of guy . i like the imagery of angel ww but his little antenna horns and triangle tail and devil wings #very cute... and frankly vw has duality in this field... of angel and devil. demon and diablo and whatnot #but ultimately the angel motifs suits vash the most if nightows side illustrations and book covers are anything to go by #like the covers for vol 5 and vol 8... he is lovely in wings - both the winged kind and his plant-esque kind #and mortal wolfwood my no.1 forever. the idea of devil ww guiding an angel vash back to heaven is a fun thought though #theres probably like 800 stories with that kind of angel/devil plot but im beaming it at vw #ruporas art

Seeing, "Zuko is canonically bad at firebending," takes on my dash, so...

Zuko is canonically not bad at firebending. He may not be the natural prodigy that Azula or Iroh are, but skills don't work on a basis of either "extreme prodigy" or "not good at all."

Zuko works hard throughout the series to grow and improve in his firebending, and he does.

He defeats Zhao, an adult firebending master, in an Agni Kai when he's 16 and ostensibly still stuck on the basics, because mastering the fundamentals is a huge part of getting "good" at any skill.

He learns lightning redirection in about a day and later successfully uses it against Ozai, who is meant to be an extremely powerful firebender.

He learns to understand and appreciate his fire on a fundamental level from the dragons, who were the original firebenders, and in so doing he becomes a firebending master just as much as Katara (who had a few days/weeks at most of formal training) or Toph (who declared herself an earthbending master after learning from badgermoles) are masters of their elements.

And then he took everything he had learned about fire and put it together to help Aang master firebending over the course of a few weeks.

None of that says, "canonically bad firebender." It says that Zuko didn't start out as a major natural prodigy like his sister, but he worked hard, never stopped learning and growing, and developed into a very strong and capable firebending master in his own right by the end of the show.

ik some people dont like considering the fact that minecraft is a game into their interpretation of lore but tbh i really like lore that acknowledges that their lives adhere to video game mechanics and thats a part of why i like that tubbo doesnt shy away from including his knowledge of game mechanics in his roleplay. it adds to his character and story and tubbos knowledge of how the game works directly translates to his character being extremely intelligent and skilled

and i think a big part of why people dont like acknowledging that tubbo isnt fail rping by using the game mechanics to his advantage is because they dont like admitting that hes intelligent. they dont like him being more than just the dumb bee boy. they dont like him being able to get a one up on their faves even though their faves are using game mechanics to their advantage too, hell because their faves are doing it too.

using game mechanics to his advantage isnt fail rp. being intelligent and skilled in his own way isnt fail rp. the admins keep him in line when they need to and when they dont they let him do his thing because no matter how many people get upset about it, tubbos knowledge of how the game works is fun and its cool to see.

a good roleplayer knows how to use the medium to their advantage. tubbo isnt failing rp or breaking the no metagaming rules in any way that actually ruins anyone elses enjoyment. hes just using the medium to his advantage. minecraft is a video game and there are literally plot points that depend on acknowledging that. tubbo is intelligent and on top of that he is a good roleplayer and its fine that he roleplays in a different way than some other ccs do because that makes him interesting. if you dont like it then theres a very easy solution: dont watch him
