ford knew how to follow bill into someone’s mind and “prevent his chaos.” when would ford have done this? who would bill have paid a visit to? ……… what if it was fiddleford?

think about it. maybe bill is trying to tamp down fiddleford’s paranoia so he stops warning ford about the dangers. maybe bill is trying to plant seeds of distrust in fiddleford’s mind so he’ll leave the project and stop getting in the way. maybe bill is trying to cause some good old-fashioned chaos, just for fun. either way, ford sees bill enter his friend’s mind, devises a solution, and follows him.

or, alternatively— what if fiddleford followed bill into ford’s mind? ford has this incantation as a fail-safe, never intending for it to be used— he trusts bill, after all — but fiddleford witnesses bill entering ford’s mind one night and freaks out. he scours the journals, feeling bad about invading ford’s privacy but wanting desperately to help him, and finds the incantation (framed much more positively, of course, as this is pre-betrayal.) so he sets his fears aside and follows bill into ford’s mind.

i just think there are possibilities here, guys. many, many, angsty possibilities…

Some of my Fiddleford headcanons I’ve come up with to please tumblr:

Fiddleford has a wandering eye and his glasses help fix it

Fiddleford was on the internet in its early days and he freaked out when nyan cat happened

Also he watched jogwheel can you microwave this videos and showed them to Tate

Tate gave fiddleford a laptop to keep him entertained while he’s working and that was a mistake cause fidds went to all corners of the internet

He’d also watch epic rap battles of history and runic cube speed runs

When Ford is back he shows him the Nikola Tesla vs Thomas Edison rap

He Sometimes sports a tinfoil hat

He refuses new clothes and wears all of his clothes that date back to the 70s until some of them become unwearable (but even post weirdmaggedon he’s still wearing his 70s clothes that lived)

The only time he wants new clothes is when he asks tate to help him buy a galaxy cat t shirt off of the internet

Tate wash’s and patches up all of fiddlefords clothes any chance he can get them away from him

I have more fiddleford headcanons but I think i shouldn’t put them all in one post so I shall give you more later

Heartcanon that I've had for well over a year at this point with hard of hearing / Deaf Fiddleford

It's been my new ride or die heartcanon for him since I thought of it back when (to a point that it's become my default for Fidds since)

A big thing of it that really solidified it to me was it for Fidds and Ford's friendship in college and later on too. The idea of Ford learning asl after knowing Fidds for a while and that sort of connection/communication as Ford woking through his discomfort with attention on his hands for the sake of communicating in an easier way with Fidds and that progressing to a point where they're just equally comfortable with one another. Ford using his hands for asl normalizing his hands/people looking at his hands for himself more and giving him a positive association with that and Fiddleford having a roommate/friend at college that he connects with who he progressively gets to be able to easily communicate with.

Fiddleford and Ford comfortably carrying on long conversations in asl like you do with friends where the time easily turns into hours.

I could word it a million ways but its just a really tangible instance in relationships where y'all mutually find these ways of understanding the other in the ways specific to them and really connecting.
