I think that since they are imaginary, they can get hurt and "die" in a sense. But I think that imaginary friends can't bleed blood like humans. So one day at the Foster's house Mac gets cut badly on a sharp object, but there is no blood, and soon the wound began to heal up a while afterwards like an imaginary friends would. Everyone else is freaking out but Madame Foster and Mr. Harriman and Frankie know what's up since they helped imaginary friends for so long. Madame Foster is the one that contacts Mac's mom and gets her to spill the beans.

Loredump for my swap au.

Unlike imaginary friends in other media, (Figment comic, fhfif,) in this AU they were something of the supernatural.

When you thought of someone who could be there for you when no one else would, an imaginary friend would appear, but It didn't really have a physical form since they were in "concept" and we're kinda like ghosts.

So for a long time there has been supernatural stuff coming and going. Some people wondered if they could communicate with them and they tried, but they also wanted to know what they looked like since they were like ghosts.

So anyways, this guy↓

Who is extremely good at building automations, builds a robot out of his imaginary friend so that they could interact with reality. (Most friends would want to have a corporeal form.)

And ends up with this. ↓

And ivo mercurial (yes) gets an award for this.

I have history for this but I will not elaborate on it because it's 9:40🌛 where I live.

Maginaryworld also exists. Those friends have a structured form based on their creators memories of them.

How does fhfif Mac react to finding out he's not a real human but a imaginary friend that was made up by his mom?

Hm, he would feel betrayed, hurt, angry, feel lied to by everybody. Be upset at Bloo temporarily because he thought Bloo was his imaginary friend. Bloo then explains the truth and Mac stops being mad because Bloo didn't know he wasn't human and was trying to escape from a bad kid. He is still upset at his parents and may stay at fosters for a while. This kid questions his identity as well.

I present to you: the ugliest and most-made-in-a-hurry doodles that I’ve ever made(digitally at least)

ok, I already said that I’m sorry for not seeing the messages before, I feel REALLY guilty about it (I really suck at being an active person in social medias and I hate that about myself tbh). So er- yeah, sorry about that, I’m trying to get my grip on being active.

But well, back to the drawing. I still have other ideas of the AU(like what sylvia and the rest are up to), but for now let’s just focus on how’s Wander relationship with these two:

Eduardo:

-Their relationship is pretty much like Ed and Wilt's. Wander is patient with Eduardo and tries to comfort him wherever he sees that he's sad or scared, but the thing is that knowing how Wander tends to freak out when it's not neccesary, he isn't always fit for that role(for example: in the episode 'Bloooo', Wander would run along with Eduardo instead of trying to calm him down. Also, Wander freaking out would just scare Ed even more) -Wander and Wilt together are a good combo to calm Ed instantly. -The two fuzzballs met a few days after Wander settled in the house. Long short story: there was a spider in the bathroom, Ed was scared and Wander decided to help. As you can see it didn't end up well lmao. Wilt had to calm them down after that. -They don't hang out that much, but they have a lot of fun when they do. Wander has dropped by at Ed's tea parties a couple times, and Ed was the once that showed him the hair saloon of the house. They share the same interest on ribbons and stuff like that so you get the idea. -Apparently, Wander knows spanish, so they like to speak it when they are alone(both out of fun and because Ed likes to have someone to speak in his native language), but out of habit they switch to english most of the time.

Coco:

-Coco was the one that found Wander unconscious outside the house. Their first real interaction was when Coco started following him and Wilt when he was being given the tour. -She kinda treats him like a puppy?? He's small and covered in a lot of hair so he resembles a puppy to her. She's quite protective over hi, but still teases him once in a while. -Since Wander is kinda random too he has fun doing random things with Coco, but sometimes she is a little too random even for him. -At the start Wander didn't understand a single word Coco was saying and he felt bad about it because Coco was very cheerful with him. He got the grip of her 'language' after a few days. -She is one of the few friends that warned Wander about Bloo's behaviour. -Wander was pretty excited when he found out about Coco's eggs, he even presented them to his hat and all. He wanted to show Coco that his hat could do the same, but since it was dangerous to expose the hat like that he restrained himself from doing so. -Some of the decoration Wander has in his room are gifts from Coco.

I know these aren’t technically what was requested, I got kinda excited with all the ideas and ended up doing all those doodles haha
