The dreams that are answered

When they were children, the Illyrian brothers dreamt of wielding the legendary sword, Gwydion, to slay wyrms and rescue damsels.

And the stars who listened answered those dreams. Feyre slew a wyrm and rescued Rhysand. Nesta rescued Cassian in their book and now, with the release of hofas, has slain a wyrm. These patterns tend to come in threes in Sarah’s writing, like a Welsh triad, so it wouldn’t be surprising if Elain defeated her own wyrm (or better yet, if it yielded to her, like the scaled creatures yielded to Bryce) and she rescued Azriel in their story.

The Starborn blades have been returned to the Night Court for a reason. Nesta has her own trove of blades, and Azriel clearly cannot carry them by himself…

He hasn’t even unlocked the full potential of Truth-Teller’s blade after possessing it for years.

Vesperus, the Asteri in the Prison, makes an interesting comment here that reminds me of the Illyrian brothers’ childhood games. She accuses the Fae of playing with weapons they don’t fully understand. Their minds couldn’t hold all the possibilities at once. But we do know someone whose mind might be able to hold multiple, if not all, possibilities at once: Elain, the seer.

It was Elain who appeared out of nowhere, out of shadow, with Truth-Teller:

She may have opened a portal into nowhere, the void, with her power (which, like the Harp, might influence time and space) while linked to Truth-Teller, allowing her to appear exactly where she was needed, when she was needed to protect her loves ones.

Our damsel made her moment with a legendary weapon count. And it wouldn’t surprise me if we learn that—with her heightened, Cauldron-blessed senses—she can hear the blades singing to each other, tugging at her hidden powers.

And perhaps, when they explore the powers of those legendary blades together, Elain and Azriel will open a portal and travel the space between to places she’s only seen in her dreams.

Because the stars do listen—and dreams are answered.

There is something powerful to the fact that the “I love you” of A Court of Silver Flames is not Cassian & instead is the Archeron sisters.

… That the first person who replies, "I love you too” to Nesta; a person who has never been able to say I love you, be allowed to love or be safe in that. Let alone have it reciprocated, without being immediately followed by their death (or destruction of some sort). And that that person is her sister; who loved her before & will love her after, who would fight to keep her safe & actually take care of her.

And Feyre finally gets to hear that from her big sister; from the family she thought she never had. It gives a full circle from how she left; feeling out of place among the human world, to end up in Prythian in the first place, she thought she was alone & left out to dry (or more likely freeze to death). To then in her almost end for the family she did find, she is saved by the sister she always had; the one who followed her to the edge of the wall, fought for her & spent days trying to rip into Prythian; to save her no matter the cost, and when the time came she “gave it all back” to pay it.

Feyre loved her, even when Nesta thought she wasn't worthy of it. Nesta loved her even when Feyre thought her sister hated her. And they both finally get to hear it, say it, see it, feel it, know it. They are worthy & they are loved regardless, they have an unconditional family of relatives & found loves. Their story enters a new world, one that is no longer alone. And there's something powerful in THAT as the choice, “I love you”.

+ We all know Cassian LOVES Nesta, even Nesta knows CASSIAN LOVES NESTA!!! It's been shown, thought, practically said (just got cut off)… it would’ve been nice, but it's already known. It didn't need assurance like they did.

why is nesta always held responsible as if she should’ve single handedly gotten her family out of sever debt just because “she’s the oldest sister”????? she was a child, too. just like feyre and elain. was her attitude and actions justifiable? no, but she was a traumatized kid, all three of them were, and nesta was not at fault or responsible for feyre going to hunt. elain and nesta were selfish for wasting money or not helping but it’s insane how elain is never held in the same light. she grew flowers instead of vegetables on purpose but i never see someone say she should’ve been more responsible, elain is also feyre’s older sister. elain also treated feyre badly pretty much until ACOWAR. it all goes back to nesta being traumatized and not dealing with it in a more convenient way. i actually do love nesta and feyre’s dynamic. they are different sides of the same coin. nesta is who feyre could’ve been. i love elain and her realistic heartbreak. all three have such valid traumas and have worked to over come them, i don’t understand why nesta is still viewed in such a villain way when she has done so much to make up for her past. even rhys and the ic still view her under a judgmental and evil mentality when she literally sacrificed part of herself to save feyre, AND made is possible for her to have more children safely.

Wanted to share these two screen shots from the new CC3 House of Flame and Shadow cause i have had to reassure a few people. Its when Az has a moment with Nesta. Which I LOVE their relationship so much! They are so sweet together. It so beautiful …..and when he says Gwyns name(and several others) 🙄

Don’t expect some great acotar character focused story lol. This book is about BRYCE and her family not the acotar characters. They are only side characters here.

☀️This book I read in translated Portuguese so i am not promising everything is 100% correct.☀️ will only know when the book is released.

Nesta puts the dread trove mask on to kill a wyrm(or whatever its called)thats attacking Bryce, Nesta and Azriel. She gets a little lost in the mask and Azriel has to snap her to reality so he lists off the people most important in her life. Cassian, Gwyn, Emerie, Feyre, Elain and Nyx. Nyx is the one that really snaps her out of it. Also want to point out that Az and Nesta are in the first 1/3 of the book not the whole thing. Nesta shows up twice after that in a small snippets.

Quando Nestha diz a Bryce que é melhor cooperar, você pode ter achado que ela quis dizer isso ameaçadoramente, mas pare para pensar. Depois de todo o abuso em ACoSF, é bastante possível que Nes tenha dito isso porque ela tentou ir contra o IC e falhou. Quebraram-na ao distorcer a verdade tantas vezes, tanto que ela começou a simplesmente aceitar na maior parte das vezes.

When Nestha tells Bryce it's better to cooperate, you might have thought she meant it threateningly, but think about it. After all the abuse in ACoSF, it's quite possible that Nes said that because she tried to go against the IC and failed. They broke her by twisting the truth so many times, so much so that she started to just accept most of the time.
