[with heavy sarcasm] oh no, not someone asking me to discuss one of my favorite fic ideas, the absolute horror

after a terribly unfortunate incident (donnie learns he has a breeding kink and doesn't check to see if the two of you are biologically compatible before enjoying it, thoroughly, over a long period of time) it is discovered that you are pregnant. oops

after a days-long conversation where he freaks out because he's terrified about your safety when he runs some tests and the fetus is very much going to be a turtle with a shell inside of you, the two of you decide to... try. to try and keep it. it feels a bit like a miracle, after all, though he's very very careful to monitor the entire time. and well he should, as it's a difficult pregnancy; they actually end up taking her out a little early and putting her in an egg-like incubator for the last month or so when he starts getting concerned about some pain you're having.

the two of you name her lavinia, after splinter's naming conventions. but very quickly, mikey shortens that to lavi. she's very much a softshell turtle mutant, but she has your smile and (as she grows older) black hair just like papa splinter from having more human DNA.

lavi is the actual poster child of being a daddy's girl. from birth, she favors him for almost everything: being held, being fed, being bathed; if donnie's not doing it or close, she's fussy.

donnie is the actual poster child of being the world's most obnoxious father in the entire world. he's that guy who will insert his kid into every conversation, bending or even snapping its relevance to shoehorn her in. he has pictures upon pictures. videos of lavi doing absolutely nothing except being cute.

and she is so fucking cute. but she's also a bit of a demon, just like her father. wicked smart and always getting into trouble. worse still, if she gets caught, she just looks at donnie with big eyes like 🥺 and it's over. she's not getting in trouble.

lavi also really loves her uncle raph, and she has taken to stealing his catch phrases because she thinks they're funny. you have a video on your phone of her running agilely away from donnie with something very fragile and important, giggling and yelling 'stealing LIKE A BOSS' as donnie chases her, teeth clenched and hands outstretched, going 'lavi, dearest, sweetest little bug whomst i love endlessly and forever, please give that back to papa Right. Now.'

her favorite uncle tho is probably uncle leo. he has cool comic books and watches fun tv shows. she likes to climb onto his shell and curl up to take a nap. a picture of leo crying the first time she did that remains your contact photo for him for a long, long time.

this whole au is just an excuse for me to dump cute headcanons about donnie being the best dad in the world and no one has stopped me yet, so. yeehaw

Gotta ask, from the latest post abt Leo's brothers, I wonder if future Leo's brothers would show up - either alive or as ninpo ghosts- to verbally tear their brother a new one for all the shit he put Leon through. Or maybe for alternate versions of future Leo's brothers tearing into him like: "Good thing your brothers/other us are dead... The disappointment would have killed them." OOF! RIP Future Leo's emotional state. He got served regretti spaghetti in the coldest way possible (and it was deserved).

“Why the hell are you leaving Toman, Mikey?!” You asked the male with surprised eyes.

“I don’t have to give you a reason, Y/n. I just want to.” Mikey said as he folded his arms and didn’t bother looking you in the eyes.

“Oh yes you do! You created Toman for fucks sake. Why would you just go ahead and abandon it just to create something that will never have the same meaning?!” You shouted at him and slammed your foot down on the concrete ground.

“I thought you cherished it more than anything..” Mikey exhaled through his nose before turning his head to look at you and unfolded his arms.

“I think we should break up as well while I’m here.” Mikey said making your body freeze in place.

“…what..?” You said. “You’re joking right?” You were beyond shock. Mikey wanted to leave a gang he created and also leave you? How absurd.

“I’m serious, Y/n. It’s best if we end things here and you forget about me. I have to leave anyways. Goodbye.” Mikey did as he said and left. But you didn’t move from the spot you were at until rain started pouring down hard.

Slowly, you walked and walked, not knowing where you’d end up till you arrived at a familiar door. It was Takemitchi’s house door. You rang the bell and waited a couple seconds till the door opened.

“Who- Y/n?! What are you doing out in the rain?! It’s pouring out here you’ll catch a cold!” Takemitchy screeched, his eyes widened from being worried and surprised. He pulled you inside and quickly got you a towel to put over yourself.

“Are you okay?” He asked. Just from those three simple words, your eyes had started filling up with tears and your burst out into sobs. “What’s wrong? Are you in pain?” Takemitchy asked and rubbed your back not caring if it’s wet.

“H-…He broke up…with me..!” You sobbed out making your cries louder than before. Takemitchy knew just by you saying ‘he’ it was Mikey. Takemitchy carefully led you to a chair in which you sat down on.

“Everything’s alright Y/n…breath.” Takemitchy hushed you as he tried his best to calm you down, but it didn’t really work.

Having someone you’ve known since elementary and dating in middle school all the way to high school only for them to end things there felt like thousands of needles stabbing into your heart. It was unbearable.

Takemitchy had given you some tea in which you took a couple sips of after your sobbing session died down a little bit and all you did was small sniffles and whimpers. Later on once you completely calmed down you looked numb. 

“Yeah..I tried giving him something to eat but he wouldn’t even look at it. He would just stare at the wall.” Takemitchy told Chifuyu over the phone.

“I seriously can’t believe Mikey would just abandon him like that. He knows how much Y/n cherishes him.” Chifuyu sighed. “I’m going home..” You suddenly said as you got up from the couch.

“Wait! You’re not even mentally ok right now Y/n. Please just stay here for a little bit longer..” Takemitchy said as he quickly went over to you and stopped you from going to the front door.

“Just move, Takemitchy.” You pushed him aside and he didn’t bother to interfere as he watched you leave and walked to the direction of your home.

Once you arrived back to your house, you kicked your shoes off and walked to your room.

You had changed out of your previous wet clothes and laid down on your bed curled into a fetus position before turning on your phone and went straight to the messages which consisted of a couple Toman members, your family and friends, and…Mikey.

You hesitantly pressed on his name and tried typing something only for a message that said you’re blocked to pop up in bold red letters and that’s when your phone turned off due to not being charged.

You moved your face to your pillow muffling a choked sob as all the good memories and bad memories flooded back in.

No matter how bad those times were with Mikey you loved them and kept them close.

I’m forcing you to be Australian, deal with it

When you were younger (about 11 years old) you moved into Calum’s neighborhood right across the street from him

And you know, puberty be hitting hard, so this man instantly gets a crush (cause you’re beautiful duh) and befriends you

But of course, he doesn’t say anything (for another few years)

You guys are each other’s closest friends, and you end up being each other’s first kiss (a classic)

The two of you will just play music together on the weekends or after Cal’s soccer practice

You play piano and guitar (and sing but we’ll get into that later)

The two of you meet Luke and Michael when you go into high school and you guys form the beginnings of 5sos

Luke and Michael quickly begin to feel like brothers to you

Then Michael Facebook messages Ashton

When you meet Ashton, you are a complete MESS

Like stuttering like an idiot because his humor just tugs at your heart strings and you’re crushing HARD

You tell Calum about it, obliviously hurting his feelings

poor fetus Calum :’(

but he still supports you

eventually your puppy love with ash goes away and you meet someone

someone that’s a GiRl (yes, you’re bi curious and we’re living for it)

you’re all confused that you feel this way about a girl and questioning your sexuality (as most do in high school)

nothing happens with the girl (nothing ever does… I’m not crying you are)

but you do confide in Calum that you find girls attractive

poor Calum is thinking you're gay, but you reassure him that you do still in fact find guys attractive too

Calum is super supportive and eventually convinces you to tell the rest of your band mates

they’re all supportive too

someone definitely makes a joke like “I don’t blame you. Girls are hot”

we love a good coming out story

then the one direction tours

you practically melt when you meet Zayn and Harry (at least I would)

ngl you and harry did hook up a few times after you turned 18 (sorry to those of you who do not like harry styles, which should be none of you)

calum is pretty much over his crush on you by the time the first album comes out (at least that’s what he says)

fans of the band kind of speculate that you might be bi when you sing lyrics like “you’re like the perfect mixture of megan fox and katy p” (greenlight underrated bop imo)

ofc the question comes up in interviews but you and the boys dodge ‘em like ninjas

you came out to the world on your terms during sounds live feels live tour

and this is frat 5sos era so just like them you’re pulling the ladies AND the gentlemen

you’re more discreet abt it tho cause we know how the media be about women who have multiple partners (the media is disgusting)

then there’s the hiatus

during this time, you get back to writing pieces with piano aka you’re the genius behind ghost of you and lie to me’s piano melody

during the writing process of youngblood is also when you and calum start becoming more than friends

you write why won’t you love me about him cause you’re oblivious that he likes you too

you show a demo of wwylm to luke (who is almost as close to you as calum now) and he convinces you to play it for the rest of band and put it on the album

this leads to feelings being confessed and you and calum end up together

you and calum date for about a year and a half before the unfortunate when will you be back blurb comes into play

and then you’re a mess, which is where I’ll be starting this series(??)
