Nicknames: Katrina, Kat, Ms. Lang, T

Age: 16-28 years old

Height: 5’4

Occupation: Agent of Red Room, Strikers , SHIELD/HYDRA—whatever the job payment is.

Skills: Technical basic training, disguises, getaway driver, panel controls as in she will order her men to strike you down, research and response center. She is usually being of assistance when needed. She’s also good with guns.

“When everyone knows your tragedy, they treat you differently. Like you’re gonna break or fight them, right? Even if they might be trying to help, all they do is remind you of the most painful moment of your life.”

Ethnicity: Her father is of Dutch descent. Her mother is of Chinese descent. But she grew up in different places across the USA.

Relationship Status: Single.

Titles: The Lady In Red, Stiletto, The Innocent

Personality: Snarky, quiet, slightly charming, daring, a little cold hearted and utterly willing to do what she believes is worth her benefits. As well as time. Growing to be obsessive and emotional, especially with a passion for getting stuff done. Even if it meant ordering a kill or two.

-> Katrina grew up in and out of foster homes. Had at least less than dozens of families take her under their wing, even her aunt as well after her parents died tragically by an explosion in the middle of a highway. She will never know who or how it happened, and honestly, she didn’t care too much to find out.

Especially when a lot of people knew of that unknown tragedy to her lifetime, almost a poster girl for the unexpected moments.

Due to her natural beauty and use of clothing, she appeared to make sure she was as gentle as a flower. Having a guys and even girls wrapped around her finger in early high school years. Ending up as one of the cheerleaders for extra credits, because that’s what she believed her parents and aunt wanted her to be.

However it wasn’t exactly what she desired to be doing. Wanting to fight for what she believes is worthy, see the world development underneath her fingertips, and get a glimpse of the jobs done. Understand it.

Across her 16th year of life, being in the care of foster parents, she was given the odd opportunity to go to Paris. While she was there she visited the Kawatche cave walls, getting a feeling like she meant to be at that old building. As the symbols called her names like a witching tone into her grasp, she felt someone tap her shoulder sliding a envelope under her armpit as they did.

“What do you want?” She asked, not looking at the person, just staring at the walls.

“I heard your little small story.” Said the voice, female, sounding almost crisp and whispery.

“What of it?”

“Public tragedy of dead parents. Foster homes. Good grades. Deeming track record in social life.”

“I was a cheerleader. A preppy gray example of the good girl.”

“That’s what the others want to believe, my dear. Secretly you’ve been knocking back the doors and stealing a few items, getting caught in the mist of a scandal between an old friend who tried to kill you?”

“..she was uh, controlled by some smoke in the school halls. So was i..i took the axe and destroyed walls. But she didn’t kill me.”

“But you almost did. She tried to do the same. Both did some serious damage to the school. Why?”

“..everyone wants something they can’t have. Money, looks, love, be understood..hell, even friendship. Just some controls over something. I guess she was jealous. I wiped the footage clean from security cameras afterwards..It was the past, why come now?”

“Open it.”

She opened it. Spy. The envelope said a few more things but that’s the word which caught her name. Striking expression appeared on her face, as she looked over her shoulder at the women for the first time. She was brunette, tall, lean brown eyes and dressed in gray coat with a black dress underneath. She was stunning with a small lined smile, nodding.

“Spy..agent?” She asked the women.

“Whichever one suits you. We are always willing to take in strays from the litter, my dear.” She replied with a shrug.

“I an not a stray!”

“Suit yourself. I’m just giving you an opportunity to workout your future. You’ll be good at it, i hope.”

Katherine knew that she wasn’t exactly seen right away in people’s eyes. Her past was always a little foggy and she was young, what does she have left to lose? Be the poster girl or something else?

Of course she choose the latter. Arriving underground side in Paris, finding the women and agreed to take a peek of the wider view of the world.

-> Over the years, she trained in basic gymnastics and kickboxing aside from the ones she knew already. She was around technical groups, diving in and using her tricks, gently roll of the touch voice, to convey the attention of others. Meeting a few short coming men and women, some even became friends. However, Katrina was never assigned to be strictly Red Room or Hydra material per say, which lead her to flexible with her schedule for trips.

Which also meant, she would go undercover as older allies, wig and custom made costumes with weapons in hand, in teams of two, to take down what threat that needed to be taken care of. Leaving her mark in black heels and a red pressed kiss on a notecard. Coming across SHIELD agents, the rich & famous such as The Starks and Feltons, and other unofficial agents who were neither bad or good.

Katrina never considered herself neither bad or good either, sometimes mad her wonder if she was in the wrong business.

She had undergone preparations and briefing for targets to be taken out. Keeping an eye on her fellow men and women on the field, calling the shots to be taken in their earpieces. Sometimes she doesn’t listen to her own voice in her head, roundhouse kicking or ordering herself to take another step furthermore.

-> Remember in Winter Solider when Natasha showed Steve her scar that was from The Solider who injured her, yes Barnes took the shot to kill the scientist, but Katrina and the others at the control panel were the ones to tell Barnes to do it.

She didn’t want to injure the ex-widow, but one look from her higher ranked member told her to message the order to do as he must.

Get the job done, even if it hurt or annoyed her to do so.

Recruitment had to be an intriguing part for her. Even though she tends to discuss the situation or disapprove of the recruiting process for others, she would look at her fellow students of the job, for their opinions.

They would just tell her to get the job done and everyone can go out for drinks later. She was actually apart of the group who recruited who willing suggests who said they have nothing else to lose, Wanda and Pietro Maximoff, believing that the job would be worthy of their time.

Seeing the world develop underneath their fingernails and try to understand what can be done.

Those same sentiments struck a tone with her, since they were similar to what she thought was right. In result, she felt somewhat empathetic towards the twins.

She understood them and their willingness to take on challenges, just none of them were taught in the correct manner to do so. Which made it a challenge.

Hell, she found the one with the platinum blonde and brunette roots pretty good looking . It didn’t help that he always flirted with her every chance he got, trying to sweep Katrina off her feet with every interaction. Thankfully she never fell for his charms. But she did blush.

The natural brunette beauty, she was a somewhat kind hearted but odd one like her, always tinkering and wondering around the halls. She sometimes found Katrina in the hallways or computer room of the building, if she was around, to talk. She always found herself holding her hand for comfort on both sides of the coin.

Katrina has taken jobs at few organizations, whoever was willing to give her a chance with a good payment. Being honest, she wasn’t always to please with every task she was given to do. A lot of time it the upmost basic stunts like being stealth to grab intel from a community of rich folks, digging up information that was buried in a system and or taking down unwanted eyes for a certain job.

Hell, she has worked for plenty of men and women across the country who have wanted to have her as assistance on a experimental project, even if it pushed her limits or pay rate. Having worked for company’s like Palmer, The Luther Family, HIVE and others over the years.

She didn’t always take the shot though, believing that there was another way to finish things. Or sometimes she faked the person undoing, knowing the boss wouldn’t ask for much, just evidence of some kind.

She sometimes, if the job called for it, saved herself and a few people in the possibilities of something rather lighter to happen in the future. People would call her a vigilante for the work she does, but not exactly a heroic act. But she tried.

Her looks were a dead giveaway that she’s wasn’t somewhat truly horrible, she had a light side and a dark side to her.

Everyone did.

But Katherine was like any other person in this lifetime, she wants to know what she can and cannot do. Not wanting to get hurt or feel hurt, even though pain is part of life.

She wants to see if she can push her limits and test out the results around her, even if it meant accidentally making the wrong choices or siding the anti-heroic path.

Sometimes it felt good to be a little cocky and act as bad as you can get. Other times it really doesn’t.

But at the end of the day, she makes the decision to take the gold or leave whatever her past is in the dust.

-> But the real question, who will find her? Will be taken back to light side and rest in the work she has done? Who will she meet?

That’s what I got, I might edit and add more to her story later on. What did you think?

Concept for an episode of What If…?: What if Nick Fury’s roster for the original Avengers was completely different?

* This would at least be a two-parter

* This would be one of the most divergent timelines in the MCU since pretty much the entire flow of events would be different compared to the main timeline. Not just different Avengers, but different threats.

* Keep in mind, this timeline is completely different, so the characters that appear will have altered personalities and motivations.

* The line-up, for me, would be -

Alexei Shostakov (Red Guardian) replaces Steve Rogers (Captain America) as the Avenger who is the pride of their respective nation

Xu Wenwu replaces Thor as the Avenger whose powers come from a mystical item(s)

Robbie Reyes (Ghost Rider) replaces Bruce Banner (Hulk) as the Avenger who transforms into a powerful monster

Hope van Dyne (Wasp) replaces Tony Stark (Iron Man) as the Avenger who is a brilliant inventor and an executive of a powerful corporation

Gamora replaces Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow) as the Avenger who is a femme fatale spy seeking to redeem themselves

Frank Castle (The Punisher) replaces Clint Barton (Hawkeye) as the Avenger who is a regular guy and a combat veteran

Despite the changes, there are parallels to the original timeline, such as -

1) The main villain is an evil Shang-Chi. In this timeline, he wants to usurp his father as the leader of the Ten Rings (paralleling Loki’s actions).

2) Gamora feels guilty about abandoning her sister, Nebula (paralleling Natasha and Yelena)

3) Frank Castle is a depressed loner since he lost his family (paralleling Clint’s love for his family)

4) Hope van Dyne requires a constant use of Quantum Realm energy due to an incident in Afghanistan (paralleling Tony’s injury)

5) Alexei Shostakov hopes to see his wife, Melina, once again and is depressed over the loss of his daughter Natasha, unaware that Natasha had actually been transferred to the Winter Soldier program (paralleling Peggy and Bucky)

6) Robbie Reyes is on the run from the Ancient One and the Sanctum Sanctorum due to him keeping the Darkhold away from anyone to use (paralleling Bruce running away from General Ross)

New Books Covers (Part 2!!)

(Part One Here)

Stetsons and Schoolteachers. I went classic with this cover, nothing too fancy but still easily recognizable. SAS was my first "Real" Stony fic, the first time I wrote Alpha!Steve (but 10000% not the last I love him) and my first attempt at a super tropey western romance. I re read this one at least once every few months, the side pairings of Sam/Clint and BuckyNat are just incredible.

Time Falls Away. Book One in my Time Travel Trilogy. I went with a pocketwatch motif on all three books both as a reference to time passing and of course, to reference Steve's iconic pocketwatch. Time Falls Away has letters for the times Winteriron wrote to each other when they were separated, and dried flowers for the ones Bucky brought Tony their first time together.

No Time Between Us. Another pocket watch, but this one lost in sand (the sands of time??) and dusty, dirty, maybe forgotten. Meant to represent just how far Stony was from each other in this book and how Bucky felt out of reach entirely behind the Winter Soldier mask.

Time Stands Still. A pocket watch of course, but also an hourglass filled with sand to signify the extra time Stuckony was given to find each other again. A notebook for all reminders Bucky wrote himself so he could feel human again. Keys for the cabin in the hills they all come home.

Tbh these three covers together just give me goosebumps.

In From the Cold. My one and only Post CACW Stuckony fic. The constant themes of being cold due to grief and heartache in this book contrasted with how fragile and tentatively beautiful a winter/struggle/journey can be? EXCELLENT.

One Reason Why. This is maybe my most OOC Spideypool fic ever, but it's still just a really beautiful story. I just recently re read it and goddamn do I love to see the crumbs of who #NCTS Spideypool became even in this very very early fic. PLUS it's the first time I let my biting/collar kink out into the Omegaverse and we all know how well that's turned out for the rest of my fics lmaoooo.

Love the contrast in this cover. The less fancy crown next to the sword and the "baggage" representing Wade and how he didn't want the title of Prince or King, how he lived in violence before finding Peter and how he came with so much angst and heartbreak and had to very slowly open up to his Omega mate. And then of course, Peter's crown is fancy and femme and bejeweled, laying against one of the thousands of books he owns, draped in the jewelry he loves to wear.

Last but not least, More Than Words. If ORW is my most OOC Spideypool fic, I feel like MTW is my most IN character Spideypool fic. Who Wade and Peter are in this story, their history and how they move through time to find each other, how they fall in love and find all these new ways to love each other and protect each other. Ughhhhh it's literally gorgeous.

I went with the same type motif for MTW that I did for PH-- Book One is less bright, the cabin is smaller and the woods are a little more menacing to reflect how Spideypool struggles, then Book Two is brighter, warmer, they are still home in their cabin in the woods but life is literally golden.

Hey Msweebyness, I got a question: What is the Theater kids aesthetics? What about the recess kids?

Well, I can’t speak for the Recess Kids, they belong to Artzy! But here are the theater kids:

Missy: Mostly punk aesthetic, she wears spikes and chains, but she mixes it with a lot of bright colors.

Jesse: Kind of casual theater kid, he wears a lot of jeans and hoodies, but his shirts usually have graphics of plays and musicals.

Ayesha: Kind of a Rainbow Brite aesthetic, tbh. She wears BRIGHT colors, with yellow being her favorite. Everything about it says “RAY OF SUNSHINE.”

Eri: Full Gothic Lolita. Black, Lace, Silk, Skirts, Parasol, gloves, the works.

Anthony: Goth Boi, he wears almost all black. Also a bit of punk in there. His signature accessory is a leather black trench coat.

Roxie: PUNK to the max. That is all.

Evie: Kind of casual Southern Belle type fashion. She wears a lot of dresses, or blouses and skirts. She also likes to wear gloves and carry a parasol.

Brecken: Country boy…but with a jock edge. Like he’ll wear running shoes and a sports jersey, but with jeans and a flannel shirt with the sleeves torn off.

Soo-Yeon: Kind of athletic, I guess. He normally wears like jeans and T-shirts, but with his basketball shoes and jacket.

Candace: Very Prep Style, but she mixes it with her cheer gear.

Dot: Kind of like Sabrina’s style tbh, but a little less femme. She prefers pants to skirts, and really likes pinstripe patterns.

Petra: Decora Kei Gal. SO much color, so many accessories.

Anais: NEEEEERD. She likes to wear geek specs. They wear sweater vests and little ties. Loafers all day. And it makes it work.

Eloise: Very sensible. A khakis girl. Polo shirts and cardigans. Durable shoes.

Parker: Big Soldier Aesthetic. Think of Axel or Brick from Total Drama. Lots of Camo and cargo stuff, big boots, dog tags. The works.

Mona: Very casual and cozy, sweats fanatic. But they also love accessories.

Aggie: Sk8r Girl. But she also amps it up with punk accessories.

Staci: Casual Athletic Style. Kinda think of Rule 63 Kim for her style. Athletic brands, sweats, etc.

Margo: Comfy-Winter-core. She wears cable knit sweaters, boots and gloves. She also loves to wear her DIY accessories.

you don't have to answer this if you don't want to, but i've seen you post and reblog some Peggy Carter-critical meta before, all of which makes sense and is super intriguing! I was wondering if you knew of any fic that addresses those issues of her character (ie working with n*zis, maybe knowing about winter soldier program, etc) instead of treating her as the Perfect Woman?

Ooh, good question! And sorry this took me a few days to answer.

In terms of actual fic and not meta, I really haven't seen any that deals with Peggy as a collaborator! I tend to read either older fics (CATWS-era) that have Peggy as the Unassailable Femme Force Of Nature In Steve's Memory And An Elderly Dementia Patient Now, or I read stuff that doesn't have her as a character. I really only see her as a young character in stuff that is WWII-era, and people don't tend to write about how Project Rebirth was straight-up eugenics because that makes being a Captain America fan sort of dicey when you think about it too much. (Myself included.) I've never read anything that took place while she was the active director of SHIELD.

I've written a few drabbles myself that deal with Peggy's role as a eugenicist with the SSR or as fully knowing about the Winter Soldier Project/HYDRA-in-SHIELD, but those are just drabbles. Even *IF* she didn't know about Bucky, she sure as shit knew about the North Institute experiments (Black Widow movie) and she sure as shit knew about Ava Starr, so... ::shruggie::

I would love -- LOVE -- to read someone take on Steve, with his eidetic memory and speedreading capability, read the full Hydra-in-Shield file dump that Natasha did and have to fully reckon with how culpable Peggy was in her collaboration with Nazis/Hydra/the Red Room/the KGB AND have to finally reckon with his own origin as the subject of a eugenics experiment, chosen less because he was a good man and more because no one would miss him if he died like all of the other test subjects.

I believe that Erskine saw Steve as a good man. I don't believe that Peggy or Phillips or Stark cared whether he was a good man or not. But I believe that STEVE has always cared about that being why he was chosen, although I don't think Steve was naive -- he grew up disabled during the height of the American eugenics movement, he would have known a eugenics experiment when it was explained to him. And he chose to be the guinea pig anyway. And I would love to see that explored more.

Also: what the fuck were Eugenics Project Coordinator Peggy's thoughts on Morita and Gabe and (Jewish) Bucky being part of the Howling Commandos? Because I can't imagine she was HAPPY about it. Like, I think there are some pretty good reasons we never see her interact with them. (IIRC in Agent Carter, she interacts with Dum-Dum, but Dum-Dum is very much not Japanese, Black, or Jewish, so.)

2. Any sleep habits either had to get used to? I feel as though, especially early on both of them are insanely light sleepers for very different reasons. Winter still has the high strung soldier mentality where she' sleep anywhere but pop up fighting ready, while Cinder is just haunted by memories and nightmares constantly. It takes effort but gradually Winter gets used to waking up to Cinder cursing herself out and Cinder gets used to sleuthing around to try and avoid waking her up. While Winter's Schnee sleep phase kicks in later and she finally gets the whole 'sleeping in' thing Cinder's light sleeping doesn't go away as much as she can contend with it--lotta nightmares still but she's able to rationalise them now.

8. What’s one way their personalities compliment one another? The most obvious way I think is Cinder is snarky and rather crude in how she acts and behaves while Winter very much still tries to restrain herself in a lot of manners so she comes across as blunt or passive aggressive. All of which come across easily whenever they are less than pleased with something, its almost like being analytically dispatched by the mean girls at a party for not wearing pink. Also they're both very intelligent and combat oriented, so organisation and anything involving planning they are both already planning/scheming a way to get things done.

32. How do they resolve their arguments? So my gut says that at the start of their relationship they were really difficult to deal with arguments. Winter really restrains herself just as much as Cinder because there is some shock horror that "what if I say the wrong thing and then I lose them forever?" so a lot of what really could cause arguments is dismissed in really unhealthy ways. But as time goes on and eventually they on a more secure ground their arguments turn either into heated debates where both of them get their whole point in, though from the outside everyone thinks they are about to break up, while eventually just finding a bridge between the two of them. Other than that I mean sparring for it seems on the table in a lot of respects if their emotions are that high.

37. What do they like the least about each other? See this is the difficult one with otps cause obviously the answer you want it to be is nothing but Cinder and Winter probably still have so much baggage. Cinder I think despises how needing Winter is for approval still, from Ironwood, Atlas, and from whoever the next allegiant Winter devotes herself to it just seems like Winter is never allowed to really express herself because of that need to be a good solider. The worst being that if it is Cinder and the strong warrior Schnee starts treating her like someone who can do no wrong, when Cinder would be so bitter about it to the point of an argument probably. Otherwise Winter is too work oriented, she needs to be doing something and is incapable of enjoying the wealth they've earned to be where they are now. Sort of parallel to Cinder, Winter almost finds Cinder's self devotion nauseating, not like she's repulsed by it, but it is an ideological thing of who is Cinder going to be fighting for whenever something happens. The answer naturally is what she has earned and what she values, which Cinder knows is Winter but its difficult to tell her that while she's pissy. But more than that what Cinder hates Winter for in her idle hands Winter just as much sees that in Cinder, she's still so skittish and restless, a handover of the time where she had nothing. But as much as they dislike those parts of the other it still seems that they're things which the other finds endearing about their partner. Like Cinder's anxiety about loss speaks to how much she values Winter even though Winter knows she isn't going anywhere. Just like how Winter's need to be dutifully loyal has transitioned to being about Cinder and their family, even as much as Cinder disdains being hailed as the steerer of that ship, Winter would run through fire for her.

Tony hasn’t let you out of your cell since they’ve tested your blood, but he did give you more art supplies to make your time go by faster. You’re pretty sure that this was Steve or Bucky’s doing, but you got a radio to help pass the time.

You love listening to music from the 30s and 40s since that’s all you’ve ever known. You hate modern music and how twisted they are right now, so having that comfort music is relaxing. The song you’re in love with at the moment is “Put The Blame On Mame” by Rita Hayworth. She has a sultry voice that calms you down, and it’s perfect for sketching.

You grab the black oil pastel crayon and begin shading the picture while singing softly with the song that’s playing. All the walls are glass, but you didn’t see anyone else inside the main room. You grab another oil pastel crayon when you hear your crush’s voice.

“Didn’t know you could sing,” Steve says. “You have a nice voice.”

You look up to see Bucky and Steve enter the room and stop by your cell.

“Thanks, Steve. What are you doing here?”

“What, we can’t visit you for fun?”

“Want to entertain me? Tony isn’t allowing anyone to come in here. He thinks I’m going to go berserk and kill people to escape,” you roll your eyes.

“How are we going to entertain you?”

“Want to be my muse?” you grin and hold up your art supplies.

“I think Bucky would be a good model,” Steve volunteers his friend.

“What do you want me to do?” Bucky sighs.

You look around the barren room and see curtains on some of the windows. You get an idea when you see Bucky wrapped around the curtain.

“Get naked and wrap that curtain around your waist. I’d really love to capture the part where the metal meets your skin.”

“Alright,” Bucky groans.

He walks over to the curtain and yanks it off the rod before joining his friend. He stips down so that he is completely naked, but he wrapped the curtain around himself before you saw anything.

You move to the glass wall and take a seat so that Steve can see without showing Bucky. He doesn't do an extravagant pose, but he does give you something to work with. You start with his chest since that is the most interesting area.

After five minutes, Bucky breaks the silence.

“It’s a little drafty in here.”

“The heat is on,” Steve says.

You take three minutes of sketching when you get an idea for Bucky to do. The thought makes you giggle, and Steve smiles from hearing it.

“What?”

“What if he did one of those turn-of-the-century node poses?”

“I-I mean if he wants to,” Steve stutters.

“What a good idea.”

Bucky drops the curtain so that he is completely nude in front of you and his friend. Your eyes immediately go down to his cock, and even soft, he’s big. It makes you think what Steve looks like, but you force that out of your head.

“Impressive,” you nod.

“Wait until you see Steve,” Bucky smirks.

“Okay, Buck, that’s enough.”

The door opens and Tony walks in. He takes one look at Bucky and cries out in shock, and Bucky scrambles to cover himself with the curtain.

“Okay, not sure what is happening here, but do you want to get out of this cell?”

“Yes. What are we doing?” you ask eagerly.

“You’re training with these two idiots. Suit up.”

He leaves the room to let Bucky get redressed, and once everyone is ready to go, Tony comes back. He enters your room with his suit on just in case you decide to flip your shit and attack him. You don’t, but that doesn’t stop him from handcuffing your wrists together.

“Do you really think I’m going to escape?”

“Can’t ever be too sure.”

He takes you to the main training room where Bucky and Steve follow behind lightly.

“Don’t kill each other, but I want to see what you’re capable of. Go nuts,” Tony says while taking off your handcuffs.

He leaves the training room, and he puts on some rock song he usually listens to whenever he is working in his lab. As soon as the song starts, you jump into action. Both super soldiers charge at you with the intention of hurting you, but you’re not going to let that happen.

Bucky tries to take you from behind while Steve goes to your front, and the dark-haired super soldier gets the better of you. Bucky grabs you and holds you against him, and you kick your feet up so you’re essentially walking up Steve’s chest. You walk up and kick him in the chest and use that momentum to flip over Bucky and pin him to the ground.

You jump away and walk over to the two men who are on the ground trying to catch their breath.

“See that Tony? I got skill,” you grin.

“Not bad. Let’s go again.”

“Are you two up for another round?”

“I can do this all day,” Steve grins.

Supporting Character Supplemental - Contessa Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine

Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine came from an aristocratic Italian family who fought against the fascists in World War II. The Contessa grew up a jet-setting child of privilege but quickly grew bored with this life of luxury and irresponsibility. As such she entered into training to become a member of the spy organization known as SHIELD.

The Contessa quickly raised through the ranks of SHIELD, demonstrating a keen tactical mind and tremendous combat skills. She earned the attention of the then-director of SHIELD, Nick Fury, after defeating him in a martial arts sparring match. The Contessa would go on to become a leading member of SHIELD, playing an integral part in the defeat of the villainous Golden Claw.

Not long thereafter, The Contessa was made leader of SHIELD’s elite cadre of women agents known as ‘Femme Force.’ During this time, The Contessa became romantically involved with Nicholas Fury. She was among the few agents who remained loyal to Fury when he was labeled a trader during the ultimately failed Deltite takeover of the organization. The Contessa was critical in assisting Fury defeat of this sinister coup.

Later The Contessa was reassigned to the SHIELD’s branch in the United Kingdom. In this role, she aided the heroes, Union Jack, Sabra and The Arabian Knight in thwarting a terrorist attack orchestrated by RAID. Thereafter, The Contessa represented SHIELD in drafting a European iteration of the Superhero Registration Act (a law that was ultimately struck down by the governing body of The European Union).

Meanwhile, The Contessa had secretly infiltrated Hydra as a sleeper agent working for the shadowy organization known as Leviathan. The Contessa was able to take over Hydra, implementing leaders from Leviathan. This put The Contessa in opposition with her former lover, Nick Fury. Leviathan was ultimately defeated and dissolved and The Contessa went into hiding, reemerging some time later as a member of a secretive council that gained control of the mysterious Ravencroft Institute.

Contessa Valentina featured in the television movie, Nick Fury Agent of SHIELD, portrayed by actress Lisa Rinna; whereas actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus has portrayed the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, debuting in the Disney+ series, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Contessa Valentina Allegra de la Fontaine first appeared in the pages of Strange Tales #159 (1967).

Despite staying in character at the Brass Monkey Saloon, Zemo notices you walking right past him. He and Sam take shots.

Meanwhile, James steels his expression through his former Winter Soldier mode. All men should continue blending in here.

“Who is that?” Zemo questions the bartender, rasping his voice.

“Oh? You saw her.” The bartender peers over his glasses through dim lighting found overhead. “Wait one second.”

“Of course.” Zemo agrees. Sam narrows his eyes for a moment, but knows so much better than to blow everyone’s cover right now. James remains silent, not once speaking up.

The bartender walks elsewhere to handle whatever business and Zemo takes a quick breath, slyly noting your stance found across the room.

You wore this shapely dress and turned heads without fail. If not for the gravity of this mission, Zemo would’ve surely made a move.

Only minutes later, the bartender returns to his post and nods, gesturing as if to give permission.

“Go ahead.” The bartender says.

“Thank you.” Zemo nods at the man once more, prompting James and Sam to follow him.

“Looking for me?” You say, playing up another femme fatale role and immediately recognizing Zemo’s presence.

“Very much so.” Zemo nearly purrs, stepping up with nothing short of danger lurking through his entire body.

All in all, Helmut Zemo spent far too much time rotting in prison alone. If given proper consent, he would destroy you in the best way possible.

“Is there anything that I could help with before all of you visit Selby?” You step closer to Zemo and dare to run your palm along his clothed chest.

“Well…” Zemo nearly struggles to breathe now, fighting an incredible urge to break character.

His known brown eyes scope you up and down. Eight long years of isolation, lust, or pent-up chaos start to rattle from within.

Flashing possibilities slap him in the face.

Through echoes of his racing mind, he can hear you almost screaming out loud in the name of pleasure. During sex, you could be nude and give him full permission to touch your beautiful skin.

In reality, perfume wafts towards his nostrils, trapping him as you bite your lip and curl your manicured nail to smooth his bare chin.

“Lost for words?” You tease again.

No. I want you. Zemo truthfully thinks to himself.

“No, but I will return.” Zemo reaches out and kisses your knuckle, leaving to focus on the mission before it’s too late.

You’re cornered in the midst of gunfire. Just moments earlier, this large bounty chimed through your phone as soon as Selby hit that carpeted floor, dead on sight.

A back alley veils you in the shade of night as one gloved hand covers your mouth.

Zemo.

“Do…not…speak…” His accented English leaves the ultimate warning and you find your own back scratching up against dirtied brick walls.

His belt buckle jingles like music of war and scorching lust reaches those brown eyes in the dark. Even then, you can’t respond, still muffled by the leather that dressed his manipulative fingers.

Salted coastal of the island, breezes towards your body, leaving you with quite a shocking realization:

Somehow, this man took off your panties and now the core is exposed for his delight.

“Go.” Your head nods obediently, giving absolute consent for an intelligent monster to defile you.

Because he will complete his goal at last, and thereby return to prison before long, he might as well “enjoy” this moment with you.

Sam and James do not matter. Not right now.

Bare for obvious reasons, Zemo lines up your soaking entrance. Your core weeps through adrenaline. The violence has blurred and you find yourself aching, needing him right away.

Moments later, Helmut plunges into you, almost hissing because of how tight and warm everything feels.

With his upper body still clothed, Zemo set his maroon sweater up against the top of your dress and still covers your whimpering mouth.

“Don’t…give me…away…” His Sokovian accent worsens, rasping as if to growl when you almost cry in the name of ecstasy. Another warning.

“I’m sorry.” Your voice mewls in the smallest tone possible. In truth, you can’t reveal his location, no matter how good he feels while thrusting over and over again.

Some pristine and light-brown hair rustles out of place, leaving curls to fall around his slightly pale forehead.

He even doesn’t give you an immediate alert when cum warms the naked space found between you both. There’s no other choice.

Yet, he’s calm enough to pull out of your core, finally making you hollow.

lWithin seconds, Zemo, an international terrorist and the former Baron of Sokovia, caresses your face, gently placing his sweating forehead against yours.

“Goodbye,” His breathing shallows. Before long, he leans inward and kisses your cheek, cornering elsewhere to fix his clothes and run off.

Now, you’re alone once more, facing the rest of tonight without him.

A History of Milhona (Eva and Mari’s Fantasy Verse)

ooc: I’m still forming this verse and the google doc based around this universe. I used a Fantasy Name Generator for most things here because I had writers block and liked what I wrote honestly. So it’s staying. I’m no fantasy expert, this is me winging it. Trigger warnings for a brief mention of past wars I haven’t exactly fleshed out yet.

Places

Milhona

is a vacation town in Aquareon. It is surrounded by hot springs/warm sands and a mountain range. The hot springs along with the taverns are the towns main income. It’s a hub for travelers heading in and out of Aqueareron.The town was used as a transport and a fort for soldiers during war. Most of it’s battle scars are long gone. The surrounding forest is a hub for some alchemists.

Lavender Oak Tavern and Inn

Aquareon

The tavern that Kymil Olomenorl owns. The Elf purchased and refurbished it after the last big war occurred and helped revive Milhoma, which was in shambles. Lavender Oak was associated with the hospital Kymil used to work at being a healer. The taven itself is rather rustic, old timey, with a small garden lining the cobbelstone walkways. There is seating outback enclosed by a brick fence lined with fairy lights. All of the bedrooms are located on the second floor, ranging from cheap to price. There’s a small kitchen and bar staff, a long with a steady flow of live music.

The country that Milhona is set in. It ranges from rural countryside to busy cities, to beach towns and sea ports. It has four seasons {frostwane, icecall, greenbirth, and warmcrest) followed by festivals marking the start of each new season. The country saw bloody battles in the past due to it’s resources, but they’ve since moved on from all that. The northern part of the country is cold, ranging from light spring temperatures to all year-round frozen tundras. The middle of the country is average to warm temperatures. The south is warm and tropical with a rainy season.

Tobedonite Village

A Village supported by the mine not far from Milhoma. Kymil’s friend and a famed blacksmith reside here. The mine is run by Dorian Southstone one of the Mining Company Families.

Pearlhorn Port

A major sea port in the south.

People

Kymil Olomenorl - (they/them) Owner of Lavender Oak Tavern and Inn formerly a healer in the Royal Army, served his time, retired, and lived a quiet life. Kymil is haunted by what they saw on the battlefield and dislikes talking about it. The former healer heavily relies on potions to keep the memories away. Despite this, they are usually cheerful, constantly making others laugh, even taking part in the occasional prank. Kymil (and the few associates still alive) are Eva’s guide to Milmhona and most of Aqueareron. Kymil and the Olomernol clan were heavily sought after during the wars. Their healing abilities include raising moral and essentially putting a bandage over the horrific realities of war for a period of time. Leaving those feelings invincible and rejuvenated.

Rolim Olorie - (Yhri) Elder Elf that runs the Apocatheory/Potion shop and teaches lessons for intermediate and advanced levels. Yhir is willing to teach beginners but does not have patience. Yhir is quick to judge and deem who is worthy and who isn’t. Yhri helped start the Mages College, survived the wars of Milhona’s past, and like Kymil, Rolim wishes to live out a quiet life.

Lysanthir Wynfir - (they/them, She/her) A femme presenting Elf, takes no nonsense but enjoys casual banter with Kymil. Frequents Lavender Oak for this purpose and the food. They help keep the peace in Aqueareon after surviving the blood feuds and wars. Lysanthir met Kymil when they were wounded and brought to Milmhona during battle.

Seasons

Frostwane:

Akin to human winter. Temperatures drop in the normally warm and average climates. Snowfall can be experienced around certain areas. The normally tropical climates see more rain and sometimes ice storms.

Icecall:

Occurs right before winter something of a mixture of fall and summer temperatures almost all over the country. More of a cloudy time. It signals the end of farming season. Desert/Dry areas see moderate temperatures. Forest areas experience certain foliage that change colors. Mountain ranges see light snowfall. Tropical areas drop in temperatures. This is the end of severe storm season as well.

Greenbirth:

No snow or ice during this time. Thunderstorms are more frequent along with other severe storms. It's the rainy season in the desert areas. Festivals and other events fall during this time. Usually a time for weddings. Tourism booms as well. Eva visits Lavender Oak Tavern during this time.

Warmcrest:

The warmest time of the year. Desert areas are at hottest temperatures with little rain or cloud coverage. Tropical areas range from hot and humid to hot and arid. The forest areas are humid and rainy to sunny and muggy.

Christopher Lee: A Sinister Centenary - Number 7

Welcome to Christopher Lee: A Sinister Centenary! Over the course of May, I will be counting down My Top 31 Favorite Performances by my favorite actor, the late, great Sir Christopher Lee, in honor of his 100th Birthday. Although this fine actor left us a few years ago, his legacy endures, and this countdown is a tribute to said legacy! It's the final week of the countdown, guys and gals! Today’s Subject, My 7th Favorite Christopher Lee Performance: Captain Rochefort, from Richard Lester’s Three Musketeers Trilogy.

There have been numerous adaptations of Alexandre Dumas’ classic swashbuckling novel “The Three Musketeers,” some more well-known or popular than others. For many cinemagoers, however, if there is a definitive version of the story in film form, it is most likely the trilogy of films directed by Richard Lester. Lester’s movies were actually produced by the same company behind the Christopher Reeve Superman films; in fact, Lester’s first two movies were actually an inspiration for some behind-the-scenes techniques in the first two Superman movies, and Lester was the man who directed Superman II AND Superman III. Let’s get this straight…the team behind the classic Superman movies…working on a famous action-adventure classic…with CHRISTOPHER LEE as one of the main villains?! Honestly, is it any wonder these movies are considered the definitive takes on the Musketeer story? The first two films (“The Three Musketeers” and “The Four Musketeers”) are basically a straightforward adaptation of the novel, each movie taking approximately one half of the original story – think along the lines of two-part features such as “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” or “Batman: The Dark Knight Returns.” The third film, “Return of the Musketeers,” is an original piece, evidently produced by popular demand. Throughout these three pictures, there are, fittingly three key villains who bedevil our heroes: the main antagonist of the first two movies is Cardinal Richelieu, played by Charlton Heston. Milady De Winter, a former lover of Athos and one of the first femme fatales of fiction, is the secondary antagonist of the first two films, and takes the lead as the main villain in “Return.” Throughout all these movies, Christopher Lee appears as a supporting rogue: he is the evil nobleman and soldier Rochefort, a scoundrel who follows the orders of both of the other baddies. Despite being subservient to Richelieu and De Winter, Rochefort is by no means a minor character, nor a mere pawn. In fact, he has a rather substantial role, as he becomes the true nemesis of the main protagonist of the series, D’Artagnan. Throughout the series, they battle with each other, steel and wit matching constantly, and their story arc ends up being one of the most powerful and intense parts of the whole trilogy. In point of fact, the portrayal of Rochefort created by Lee and Lester has been highly influential: in the books, Rochefort is a somewhat more minor character, and also more sympathetic, as he ends up becoming a sort of friendly rival of D’Artagnan, rather than a true nemesis. Ever since these movies, however, Rochefort has become a much more prominent, as well as much more sinister, character: portrayals by actors such as Michael Wincott, Mads Mikkelsen, and Marc Warren often owe more to Lee’s version than the actual Dumas novel. The Lester Trilogy is noteworthy for its sense of tone, and how it changes, especially between the first two movies. The first movie is largely a comedic adventure film, but with a slight edge; in the second film, however, the stakes are raised significantly, and while there are still funny moments, we learn more about the characters and see them go through tougher trials, leading to a darker tone. Think of it as being along the lines of “A New Hope” versus “Empire Strikes Back”: one is more cut-and-dry in its approach, more superficial, and with a slightly lighter tone, while the other really gets into the proverbial nitty-gritty of these characters and puts them through Hell and back by the time its over. (If only “Return” could in any way be likened to Star Wars’ own third pillar, but that’s another story.) Lee does a brilliant job balancing these elements as the nasty Rochefort: he is a menacing opponent for D’Artagnan and the rest, but there’s a certain grandiosity to him at times that gives him some humorous moments, especially in the first movie. He actually reminds me a little bit of Captain Hook; sort of part-fop, part-true threat. Actually, come to think of it, Christopher Lee would have made an amazing Captain Hook…as far as I’m aware, though, that never happened…oh, the lost opportunities of history… Tomorrow, I present my choice for Number 6!
