Throw it in the bin. I'm done with the DCU. Fuck you, James Gunn. The saga continues of female superheroes in the DCU getting the short end of the stick.
Sasha was PERFECT as Supergirl! Why even give her the part if you're going to do this to her?! 🤬🖕🏻

Realized what bothers me the most about male fans’ “just let us have some harmless eye candy” approach to oversexualized, scantily clad female superheroes is it implies that female characters have to earn their right to a place in the narrative through their physical attractiveness.

Hi, I love your fanfic and I genuinely think its one of the best superhero stories I’ve read in a very long time. I drew some fanart of Helga/Bluejay but I have no idea if this submission is going to work properly since its the first time, I’ve submitted something through Tumblr. lemme know if it doesn’t come out right.

Mcu really be out there celebrating how "feminist" they are when their female character went from unnecessarily sexulized and underwritten who did most of the emotional labor to... badly written

tbh it was super cool (and super sad) to see Wanda totally lose herself and go bad!!
but frankly that could’ve all potentially been avoided if any of the avengers had bothered being there for her. wanda has one of the most (if not the most) tragic lives of the avengers. she lost her parents when she was young, was tortured and manipulated by Hydra, then lost her twin brother- the person she was closest to in the world. then Wanda is forced to kill the love of her life essentially for nothing. she lost everyone. after the events of Endgame, she was left alone and not one person was there for her, leading to the events of WandaVision.
but then!!! STILL no one went to check on her or help her. in multiverse of madness, wanda mentions her “mistakes” but dr. strange says that he’s not there to talk to her about Westview, proving he knew about it at the very least after it happened, but still Wanda was alone. no one checked on her, not a single one of her teammates or friends was there for her until Strange decided he needed Wanda’s power/help.
at this point, they don’t deserve Wanda. i wouldn’t have blamed her if she refused to return to the light- what has it ever done for her? but even after everything, Wanda did the right thing. she herself is a true hero, and she deserves the recognition and the world

Is it the kind of twist that’s like, Ooh, there’s another hulk but this one’s red, or, like, I’m getting fridged?
-- Jennifer Walters, She-Hulk
It's sad that Jen knows she has her own show and getting fridged is still an option here. It does tend to happen once you sleep with a male superhero, that it's suddenly his show.
And what does it say about us real-worlders that Daredevil: Born Again happening before a second season announcement.

Hey. Hope you're well. Any updates?
Hey there! I’m so sorry for the delays, I can’t believe it’s almost been a full year! Unfortunately, life just got in the way and I ran out of inspiration. Thankfully, yes! I finally finished Chapter 26 so I’ll be posting Chapter 25 shortly! Thanks so much for the patience! 💙💙
