I think that if we analyze the Fearless Platinum tracks, we can understand why Mr. Perfectly Fine didn't make it.

Jump Then Fall - this was Taylor's favorite Platinum song. Do I really need to say more?

Untouchable - she performed it live the year before, and it was widely acclaimed. It was also Scott Borchetta's favorite song.

Come In With The Rain - it was a song that had been floating online for more than 3 years after Taylor had posted it on her MySpace. Fans requested it so she released it. Minimum Effort, Maximum Results.

Forever & Always (Piano Version) - controversial but this is the most useless track since it's just a different version of another song. I think that, since the original was kinda rushed (it was mixed by the recording engineer cause they didn't have time anymore 💀), Taylor wanted to explore more scenarios and possibilities for this song, but it's just a theory.

Superstar - honestly not sure why this was released, but the production is very Fearless.

The Other Side Of The Door - this was another song that was mastered with the rest of the 2008 Fearless album and therefore the closest to be released in 2008 out of the other Platinum songs.

Sonically, all of these songs sound coherent with the original Fearless. Fresh and radio-friendly but still country. If we take into consideration that Taylor herself said that Mr. Perfectly Fine had always been very pop, I think that the reason why it wasn't included was that the production didn't fit with the other songs. It also didn't make any sense on Speak Now, which is more rock than Fearless. Of course, the only reference that we have is the 2021 version produced by Jack Antonoff, since the demo hasn't leaked (yet)

Last night I dreamt of Taylor being pregnant (and engaged) so this morning I woke up and looked up “what does it mean if you dream about someone being pregnant?” and this is what came up:
