The anti-charm trio! I actually wanted to make this a little while back, but was unsure. But then bunny Artoria released for summer, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity!

I added more ruffles to D’Eon’s suit to cover up any indicative areas of gender. For a while it got very maid-y, but I didn’t want to copy the Agartha costume. The colour scheme for them was based on the genderfluid flag! But I didn’t plan it out as well, so I feel that it doesn’t come across very obviously OTL Enkidu’s is based loosely on his oasis outfit.

10M Downloads Campaign 4-Star Sabers Breakdown

The 10M Download Campaign aired originally from September 20th 2017 to October 4th 2017. During the campaign, players receive a ticket that allows them to choose “1 4★ Servant of your choice from 42 available 4★ Servants by using the [10M Download Commemoration Ticket]“.

There are 8 classes represented on the campaign and all have valid options, so don’t make up your mind too fast unless you’re going to pick your favs. I just wanna help you pick who’s right for your team. Idk who I’m picking yet and am having the worst time picking. 

4* 10M Downloads Sabers

Artoria (Alter) | QAABB - B

General Damage

Highest 4* Saber Atk; 7th highest Atk for 4* Servant. One of strongest aoe NPs in game; has two self-steroids in her kit, but one is low-rank Charisma; Intuition is always terrible, but she has decent star gather as a Saber; mediocre HP with absolutely no defense; no team support; selfish play-style; good Mana Burst; Still strong and playable with insane Atk.

No NP interlude, animation update, strengthening, or rank-up.

Salter is about to be Bond 10 for me and is still my main Saber despite having 3 5* Saber with aoe NPs. She works well for early and mid-game content but dies with a puff of wind. I still use her because she’s a selfish high-damage Saberface. 

Gawain | QABBB - B

Damage (on Sun Stages)

2nd highest 4* Saber Atk; 9th highest Atk for all 4* Servants. Consistent damage with triple-buster deck; 1-turn Guts that’s attached to NP battery forcing you to choose; NP damage outclassed by Artoria Alter BUT NP has Skill Seal and Burn; can turn 1 NP with Kaliedoscope; party-wide attack buff; strong self-buff; low hit count and NP gain. Mediocre for anything outside of farming.

No NP interlude, animation update, strengthening, or rank-up.

NP3 Gawain and I only interact for farming or Sun stages, but his gorilla deck makes him hit hard at a consistent basis. His survivability skill being tied to NP battery is a nightmare, and the Guts is only 1 turn and that just ruins it.

Siegfried | QAABB - B

Tank, Damage (vs Dragons)

Highest HP of all 4* Servants; 5th lowest Atk of all 4* Servants. Among best Dragon-type slayers in the game; decent NP gain with Golden Rule and two Arts cards; Dragon Slayer available from start; great in Challenge Quests and hard story fights; only truly shines against dragons.

Animation and sprite update with Fate/Apocrypha campaign; Strengthening 1 upgrades Dragon Slayer from A to A++; Strengthening 2 upgrades Noble Phantasm from A+ to EX. 

I for one quite love using him to clear Dragon waves with zero effort. And he always lives longer than I expect him to.

D’eon | QAABB - A

Tank

2nd highest HP of 4* Sabers; 3rd highest HP 4* Servant. Taunt is locked to 3rd Ascension; deals little-to-no damage; NP has hard time proc’ing; high HP and decent self-heal skill; nearly immune to debuffs; charm/taunt skill and evade skill synergy; can tank hits and care for themselves, but it’s the only thing they can do.

Animation and sprite update came with Agartha. Strengthening quest upgrades NP from C to C+.

I love D’eon as a character, but the only thing they can do is tank where there are other Servants with more versatility that do their job better. I don’t find myself using them frequently. 

Suzuka | QAABB - B

Single-Target or Wave Damage, Late-Game Content

Decent stats that don’t favor too heavily either way. Combines waveclear and single-target crits; has no trouble doing burst damage, but specializes at extended battles; self-sufficient; Sure Hit built in; niche anti-male ability; slow to get going; has nonexistent defense; weaknesses can be easily compensated for; good enough to be useful in nearly any situation.

No NP interlude, animation update, strengthening, or rank-up.

Nero | QAABB - A

Soloing, Survival

4th highest HP of 4* Sabers. Super rare triple-use Guts to buy turns; survivability kit with Migraine and Imperial Privilege; slightly above-average NP gen for 4* Sabers; Migraine’s Rank Up improves Imperial Privilege’s usefulness; can’t block incoming damage, so can have trouble using skills optimally; inconsistency due to random nature of Imperial Privilege.

Battle animation and Sprite Update with Nero Fest 2016. Interlude 2 upgrades NP rank from B- to B. Interlude 3 gives third skill, Thrice-Setting Sun. Strengthening replaces Migraine B with Goblet of Wealth B, which adds a NP battery and Arts boost. Receives Olympian Bloomers Costume Dress.

Rama | QAABB - B

Single-Target Damage

3rd highest HP 4* Saber. Vanilla stat spread. Low hit count with low NP gen and Star gen per hit; has a hard time charging his own NP or generating his own stars; consistent high single-target damage; occasionally does obscene damage without warning between crits and buffs; party-wide attack buff feels good; survives difficult fights with third skill (3-turn guts that revives with 1k then heals for 1k-3k); easily-compensated weaknesses, but feels vanilla and hard-to-use.

Battle animation, sprite, and dialogue update with Lostbelt 4.

If you get the critical stars and NP charge for him, he deals absurd damage. His first skill guarantees star gather and boosts crit damage by 100% on a 4-turn cooldown. He’s time-bomb going off every few turns.

Lancelot | QAABB - A

Single-Target Damage

3rd highest 4* Saber Atk; 11th highest attack of all 4* Servants. Kit is geared to star gen, star absorb, and crit damage; frequent crits allow him to utilize NP frequently despite low NP gain; consistent damage at a rate competing against 5* Sabers; zero defense ability or durability; skills being on cooldown cause huge dip in consistency and damage--his NP gauge fills way slower and he deals significantly less damage without crits; no damage boosts outside his NP and his crits.

No NP interlude, animation update, strengthening, or rank-up. NP Rank changed from A++ to A August 2017.

Could I get some headcanons for platonic bffs with Chevalier and Diarmuid? What that friendship trio would do and how they’d express friendship?

AWWWWW. THIS IS SO CUTE I SMILED AND COULD TOTALLY SEE THIS. MY HEART IS FULL OF FUZZ. If anybody wants to draw or doodle anything written down here, you have full permission because it looks so cute in my head. I fell in love with this headcanon and would love to write about this more in the future if you have further requests about the details.

Chevalier d’Eon, Diarmuid, and Best Buddy Master

Basically the Powerpuff Girls. 

Master is Blossom, Chevalier is Bubbles, Diarmuid is Buttercup. Together they fight crime and the forces of evil.

Inseparably close to one another. They’re more like a family than a friend-group at this point.

Lazy afternoons stretched across sofas with large bags of baby carrots and celery left open on the coffee table.

Super Smash(ed) Bros.

Visiting fancy places and pretending to be rich folks. Museums and botanical gardens are great favorites and offer a hybrid of history and beauty, much like the two servants accompanying Master to them.

“This fanciful work of art was created by the legendary Leonardo DaVinci! She is truly magnificent. I’ve thrilled in watching her inventions come together. Like that time she blew herself up in Camelot and survived.”

And the tour curator is like, “She??? What???”

Music, music, music. Though none of them are musicians in the slightest, they love going to the opera together and throwing down at festivals.

“I believe this is what they would call, ‘a banger’?”

“It most certainly is ‘a banger’!”

Master’s eyes roll so hard that they fall out of their head.

Master invests in a camera and a 128GB SD card early on in the friendship after realizing that neither of their companions have ever had access to photography.

Master and Chevalier surprise Diarmuid by learning how to use Photoshop to remove his cursed beauty mark in photos so he can share them.

“You don’t need a charm, we already love you as you are.”

Diarmuid cries.

Oh good lord for some reason Didney Worl’ is like a dream come true for this troublesome trio. Even though they’re 2 Heroic Spirits and one Somewhat Adult, the three of them thrill in the most magical place on Earth.

Chevalier takes pictures and videos of everything and everyone.

Disney Princesses are no match for Diarmuid of the Love Spot. He has to cover his face with a bandana most days they’re down there. But at least he doesn’t get sunburned? If Heroic Spirits can even be sunburned?

Successful YouTube vloggers.

In their defense, it wasn’t going to be a vlog channel at first but the entire internet gets hit by two charms and the squad has a ton of footage from their adventures. It made perfect sense.

But they also do history videos, and discuss their totally-fictional-experiences-as-servants-that-definitely-aren’t-heroes-from-history. 

Master’s camera gets use in every singularity they visit. 

Singularities are great if you’re trying to have fun and not fuck up the timeline of history.

They bring other servants onto the channel to interview and talk about history. People are pretty confused about all of this seemingly endless group of individuals “pretending” to be historical figures.

Adventures are photographed and shared on their ever-growing social media accounts.

Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to visit us at the Very Interesting Very Exciting Live-Action Fantasy-Recreation-Apparatus: Now Cutting-Edge! (Or as I like to call it, VIVE LA FRANCE!) This little shop has been a wonderful opportunity to bring my homies together and work on one project as a big, happy family. “We can’t open until we have your approval. Everything should be to your liking. Your kouhai worked really hard to please you. Let me show you around!”

We heard you like lolis, so we’ve built a storefront reminiscent of a bridal boutique with a gothic color-scheme.

This is our dressing-hall. We can accommodate up to five servants simultaneously. We can fit everyone from Orion (yes, the bear) to Atilla’s titan form!

The Costume Catalog is the pride and joy of the waiting area, and a project I personally saw to the development of. With this life-sized screen, you can scroll through images of the endless possibilities for your costume. With the help of a reluctant Caster or four we categorized all costumes through an algorithm that reads images and sorts them by theme, color, species, time period, historical accuracy, and whether or not the costume has a companion outfit. Users are able to search through these categories effectively to find their ideal outfit!

Behind this curtain is Marie’s office, in case the flowers and photos didn’t give it away. She’s almost always working, but she uses this as a breathing room when she gets overwhelmed. Here’s her official consultation calendar. We have over a dozen appointments set already. Even Heracles is scheduled to visit us this week! 

Over here is the door to the garment planning and construction room. We have tables for different purposes, mannequins of all shapes and sizes, and an endless collection of fabrics and doodads! Everything is organized so our team can most effectively find the supplies they’re looking for. 

Sanson’s skillset has made him an expert tailor, and he can deduce the perfect interpretation of a concept to make it work on any servant. Nobody knows the body or its form better than he does. He makes alterations better than the tainted Holy Grail!

Chevalier is Marie’s apprentice designer, and is a masterful one at that. They sketch ideas and help bring dreams to life. They also assist in the detailing of outfits and fitting the piece to the servant. They do a little bit of everything around here!

Diarmuid was dragged along by D’eon. They thought he would be a perfect fit for constructing outfits. Keeping him in the back prevents others from swooning every time they see his face. He’s a genius with a needle and thread and the master of the sewing machine. Truly the man is a perfect knight!

Emiya over here likes to pretend he doesn’t enjoy our company, but his mastery of projection has been put to use in creating trinkets and accessories, and helping put them together in cohesive collections. He tries to bat me away when he’s working, but we all know it’s because he’s bad with women.

“And then there’s me! BB-chan, your lovable lovely kouhai. I act as our unofficial customer-facing computer while Marie is busy.”
