U moru modnih kolaža nije jednostavno pronaći one koji nas oduševljavaju, no raskošni radovi nizozemske vizualne umjetnice Iris van Gelder definitivno nas nisu ostavili ravnodušnima.

Od već postojećih fotografija stvara nove slike, nove priče koje ne oskudjevaju bojama, uzorcima i motivima te kao glavne likove tih kolaža gotovo uvijek izabire prekrasne žene. Disproporcioniranjem i repeticijom predmeta, često modnih dodataka, te pokojim nadrealnim momentom mami nas u svoj svijet bogatstva i ljepote. Konačanim rezultatom pronalazi zdravu ravnotežu između, ponekad potrebne, kritike i prihvaćanja današnjeg potrošačkog društva.
