i Do Not Trust people who make Mary the bad guy in their stories when the show went out of its way to specifically show us how she was suffering just as much as stede was in their marriage and that shes, yknow, a good person

people saying that it's ridiculous for sonadow fans to be "eating good" from the sonic prime ep bc most of the ep was them beating up e/o just don't get it. where do you think the appeal is coming from ?

I’m not a huge elmaxer but I do think it’s fairly cute and whatever, but… if u ship elmax and dont ship lumax…..! idk there seems to be a trend of ignoring a well written, super cute and enjoyable mixed/poc m/f ship in favor of a bland, mega whatever they-touched-once white on white queer ship, under the pretense that you can just be like “oh i just dont like m/f ships theyre boring” :/ like. lumax is so much more interesting than elmax im sorry, elmax is cute and i think el probably had a crush on max at somepoint, but the lumax dynamic, “do you accept the risk”, “I like talking with you, stalker.”, “i disappeared / no you didnt, i just didn’t look hard enough”, “movie friday?”, just everything about them will always beat elmax?? its weird so many of you are so quick to ship el and max and put them alongside byler (ignoring the canon byler/lumax parallels and double date!) claiming that m/f ships are boring and queer ones are better, while ships like byclair or henclair are rarely talked about by the same crowd. it smells like racism!

And are u someone who cares a lot about keeping things in character? Cause i deeply care about character analysis and it sometimes really pisees me off when people ignore or gloss over things that are very obvious once you decide to work ur brain

I simply find a lot of aa fanon to be extremely reductive. I'm all for analyzing characters and making connections (I'm like The Overthinking Silly Guys guy) but I think there's a difference between meaningful character analysis and shoving a character into a preconceived one note trope box

All fandom has a tendency to do this but aa has the added effect of being so Large and so easy to get immersed in the culture of it all that some people lose sight of what made a character interesting in the first place

The reason I said I don't Trust aa fanon is cuz of that but also I don't want to let others idea of what a character Should be impact how I will personally feel about a character I haven't even met yet with all of the above considered

#Being a Phoenix fan is fighting in the goddamn tranches against people who see him as nothing more than a innocently stupid sweetheart #and as an accesory to ship with edgeworth #i dont think of my self as a guy whos super strict about characterization as long as it is within the realm of believablity #i do enjoy making content extrapolating on things canon couldnt have considered #but also im not like. the arbiter of how people should interact with canon i simply choose to ignore content that isnt of my taste #lizard inbox

I must say that, as much as I love that Prowl is going to be in TFES I don't want to see any Tarantulas x Prowl content. The comics have been a bad ride for me...

Thought, maybe I could change my mind if they don't follow the comic version and the fact that we still do not have info about Prowl's role or if Tarantulas and Prowl know each other.

But, if he is the same as in the comics... I will just skip his parts.

I say this because I don't only dislike the ship (yes, I do dislike ships) but it also brings me nausea due to some past experiences...

That would be my only negative for TFES 2s take for now. Stupid of me for not saying my other negative takes but from 1s (╯▽╰ )

Can someone provide some context behind this recent Dream drama going on?

What I know/have heard of so far (out of order):

- TommyInnit + some other mcyt have unfollowed him

- Tommy made some kind of joke involving him, which made Dream Stans really mad, not only going after Tommy but his fans as well.

- Dream admitted to talking to a minor (but the clip I saw was out of context).

- Badboyhalo and Sapnap are supposedly standing up for/defending him, causing fans to label them as bad people.

- something about Dream making another minecraft server (???) and people are saying it’s a knock-off of Quackity’s QSMP
