Fandral carefully took aim and took a deep breath. He breathed out as he let go, letting the blade soar through the air. It would have been something right out of a fairy tale. Would have. If he didn't miss. He let his name drop and cursed under his breath. He could handle any weapon given to him, and was the best swordsmen the Nine Realms had ever seen, but he would always be thrown off his rhythm if he had to throw something.

hi! I’m 21f looking to get back into rping regularly! I really love doing doubles and oc’s! I love brainstorming characters and ideas :) I’m looking for a rp partner to be 20+ and be semi-lit/lit. I typically write several paragraphs, but I typically don’t mind shorter responses if they’re well written in third person! Quick overview of me for anyone interested:

The Christmas Date

1: What inspired you to write the fic this way?

I was aiming for a one shot, bc ofc I was, but when I started writing the Christmas Eve part, I thought it might be cool to just have each day a separate chapter. I wrote different parts over and over in my head in different ways. I actually remember walking around campus back in 2018/19 having the conversation in my head when Loki tells Bucky about Fandral. It went many different ways than how it ended up. lol

And really the whole fic wa built around the moment Bucky braids Loki's hair. That scene went through many a rewrite as well.

4: What’s your favorite line of dialogue?

This whole bit:

"My parents were cool about me being gay, and they didn’t care if I brought a guy back to the house for dinner or took a guy as my date to a school dance, but they didn’t want me to tell my grandmother for the same reason your mom didn’t want you to tell your dad.” Loki’s brows lifted in question. “Did you? Tell her anyway?” “Hell yeah, I did.” “And what did she do?” Loki asked with a tilt of the head, eyes curious. “She threw me a coming-out party,” Bucky answered with a grin. Loki’s jaw all but dropped. “I mean, she baked me a rainbow cake and decorated her house with pride flags everywhere. She even gave me gifts.” “Oh, gods. What did she give you?” Bucky glanced at the driver and stifled a hearty laugh. “An old copy of Playgirl and a porn movie.” Loki doubled over, as much as one could, in the backseat of a cramped car, and they both fell into a burst of laughter. “That’s amazing,” Loki said, gasping for breath. “I know. My grandma’s amazing. Turns out she had a slew of gay friends in the Seventies and was pretty involved in the fight for gay rights."

I think I read about a kid's parents doing this for him somewhere. I had a whole backstory for this grandma being an ally for LGBTQ rights and knowing some of the big name activists. It was supposed to explain why Bucky's dad was such an open person. Mom and Dad Barnes had a pretty cool background, too!

6: What makes this fic special or different from all your other fics?

I think this was the first fic I really wrote genderfluid/nonbinary Loki. As a gender nonconforming person myself. I was able to pull a little from my own experience. In fact, when Bucky asks Loki about being genderfluid and asks him if he's ever felt female, Loki's answer is my exact feelings and words I've actually said to someone when explaining how I felt -- only in reverse haha.

10: Why did you choose this pairing for this particular story?

This fic was a gift for someone who was very special to me. We used to RP FrostIron and WinterFrost together and a lot of fics I've written include ideas and input from them. We were a couple when I offered to write them something. I asked who they wanted it to focus on and what specifically they wanted to see in it. They chose WinterFrost and the one detail they wanted was Bucky braiding Loki's hair. Even though we eventually broke up, we remained friends, so I built the fic around Bucky braiding Loki's hair.

RP Basics

1. I am open for canon, canon-divergent and AU RPs with canon characters or OCs! 

2. I am 33 and I require RP partners to be over the age of 18. Age MUST be in bio.  

3.  Open to RPs of all ratings and ships as determined by plot and chemistry.

4. Any adult writings will be tagged as such and beneath a page break.

5. I’m very adaptable with my roleplay replies! If you want multi-paragraph RP with all the trimmings I can do that! If you prefer shorter form, I can do that too. All I really need is for replies to at least be a couple of sentences and i am happy to adapt within that scope. 

6. I typically write third person, past tense, but I am willing to adjust if a partner prefers something different.

7.  If we are writing with longer replies, I am okay with minor things being written for my character if it fits!  Such as being led somewhere, the continuation of some action from the previous reply, and so on. If something goes too far I’ll be sure to let you know - I’m quite easygoing but I don’t want to be god-modded either.

8.  I  can be a little shy/awkward but I can promise I’ll always be kind!

9. I like to talk plot in ooc. Check in with how people are feeling about things, talk about replies or upcoming plot points to be on the same page, clarify things, etc.  I encourage my RP partners to do the same - I am very happy to hash things out, plot together or make corrections and clarifications if need be. 

10. I do have some triggers and limits when it comes to RP but I would rather discuss those privately as opposed to posting them up out here. I have very few hard limits overall though.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wil write: Most things to be honest.  I can do fluff, I can do angst, I can do smut and any combination of those. I am comfortable with most adult and difficult topics. I LOVE writing combat, and I really should do more whump. Most kinks are alright. Will mess with incest and certain flavors of dubcon/noncon.  Won’t write: Underage NSFW, Kinks involving scat or vomit or other very dirty sorts of kinks.  Might write: Darker noncon scenes (in fics, I can’t handle it in a RP) , kinks/characters I am not familiar with, really if anything isn’t on one of these lists just ask. I can write about a character throwing up or being sick but would prefer not to go into great detail as it can be a trigger for me.
