A Called and Set-Apart People
Tumblr media
A Called and Set-Apart People This post may contain affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, I may earn a commission on sales. A tragic reality that plagues society today is the profound impact of religion, culture, and tradition on individuals. They often infiltrate, manipulate, and reshape people's minds, leading them to embrace or adopt beliefs and values that are inherently contradictory to the teachings found in sacred Scriptures. Although Scripture has not changed or evolved since the days of Abraham, there have been cases where it has been distorted by false teachers. This twisting of scripture has misled and deceived billions of people into conforming to religious dogmas and traditions, which can sometimes be in conflict with the original teachings. The timeless message conveyed by Scripture remains consistent throughout generations. The ultimate takeaway is for us to hold the utmost reverence for Elohim, the Almighty, and faithfully comply with His divine Commandments. This applies to ALL mankind. “For every work shall be brought into right-ruling (righteousness) - including all that is hidden, whether good or whether evil” (Ecc. 12:13-14). Our mission is to spread the pure and untainted truth of Scripture with love and humility, embracing everyone without judgment or condemnation. We will not compromise or be swayed by fear. "For false messiahs and false prophets shall arise, and they shall show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones" (Matt 24:24). Religion has long deceived lukewarm and ignorant Believers, who lack knowledge and are unwilling to study Scripture themselves. They have been led to accept a counterfeit Gospel that the true Hebrew Messiah of Scripture never taught. Those who truly engage in the study of Scripture and do not rely on distorted interpretations, will come to realize that the Messiah conveyed the identical teachings and commands that His Father had revealed to His people through Moses. There is no introduction of a new or updated version, but a continuity of divine wisdom. "Because I spoke not from myself, but the Father who sent Me has given Me a command, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that his command is everlasting life. therefore, whatever I speak, as the Father has said to me, so I speak” (John 12:49-50). “For if you believed Mosheh, you would have believed Me, since he wrote about Me. “But you do not believe his writings, how shall you believe My words?” (John 5:46-47) Scripture clearly demonstrates that the Messiah only taught his Father's commands, not his own or a different, updated version of them. This truth is straightforward and not hard to comprehend. If you truly have a deep love for Messiah, who sacrificed Himself for both you and me, it is of utmost importance to protect and abide by His divine instructions - these very instructions which His Father, known as YHWH, revealed to His people through Moses in the initial five books of Scripture. "If you guard My commands, you shall stay in My love, even as I have guarded My Father’s commands and stay in His love" (John 15:10). At HaShem's Truth Matters, we share the truth with you because we genuinely love and care for you. Our aim is to ensure that no soul is lost to false teachings or the traditions of men. When it comes to those we care about, deception and manipulation are simply out of the question. For us, integrity is not merely an option, but an absolute necessity.  The Scriptures say that as Believers, we are: Called to love our Father YHWH, above all else, by embracing His Son, our Savior. Let us diligently seek and faithfully serve Him as our one and only First Love Called to obey and guard our Father's Commandments Called to be set-apart in truth & righteousness Called to witness the truth of Scripture, without compromise or fear Called to guide the House of Israel (including Gentiles) out of Babylon, and into covenant with Almighty God Called to be humble servants of our Master Called to be the clean and set-apart Bride of our Hebrew Messiah Read the full article

#DailyDevotion Jesus, Is Not Far Away & Knows The False Teaching Being Taught

#DailyDevotion Jesus, Is Not Far Away & Knows The False Teaching Being Taught Jer. 23:23-29 23Am I a God who is only near and not far away?” asks the LORD. 24“Can anyone hide in a secret place so that I can't see him?" asks the LORD. "Don't I fill heaven and earth?” asks the LORD. 25“I've heard what the prophets say; those who tell lies in My name say, 'I had a dream, I had a dream!' 26 How long will the hearts of these prophets tell lies and invent dishonest prophecies? 27By their dreams which they tell one another, do they plan to make My people forget My name, as their fathers forgot My name for Baal? 28If a prophet has a dream, let him tell it, but he who has My Word, let him faithfully speak My Word. Why mix the grain with the straw?” says the LORD. 29“Isn't My Word like fire?” says the LORD, "and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?" Depending on your relationship with the LORD depends on whether or not these words are comforting or terrifying. God is near and he is far away. He fills both heaven and earth and is outside of both. He is immanent and transcendent. He is outside our universe and he dwells in our hearts. So here in Jeremiah the LORD hears what the prophets, the false prophets are saying who speak lies in His name. I don't know—maybe they think the LORD is stuck in the temple and cannot hear what they say. Many people in those days thought their deities lived in certain place and had no influence outside of that. Some modern bible scholars think the LORD was like that. Well it's more correct that some Jews may have thought that, but that is not what the LORD had revealed in his Word. These prophets were using the name of the LORD to preach what the people wanted to hear. They invented false prophecies so the people would support them. They apparently were receiving dreams from someone or something other than the LORD YHWH. These dreams could have been coming from their own perverted hearts or maybe demonic influences. They actually plan to have people forget the name of YHWH and use Baal instead! We have similar false prophets in our day and age who claim to be Christians yet tell people everyone has to find their own path. They teach all forms of worship and gods are one. They even baptize with names other than the name Jesus the LORD gave us, the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. In particular they lead silly women astray teaching them to find the goddess within them. Their false teachings have no end. Today's false prophets teach people as long as your nice that is all that matters. Faith in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation is no longer exclusive. Yet Jesus has taught us broad is the way to destruction. Well the LORD's response to this is the same today as it was in Jeremiah's time. “If a prophet has a dream, let him tell it, but he who has My Word, let him faithfully speak My Word.” Ultimately, we who teach the people will be judged for what we taught if it was from Jesus, the LORD, or from somewhere else. We who belong to Christ should faithfully preach the LORD's Word whether we are popular or not. We should do it whether we are well paid or not. Our hope is not in earthly gain but in the rewards Christ has promised us. To those who preach and teach falsely the LORD Jesus promises them this, “Isn't My Word like fire and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?” So these who speak falsely in the LORD's name will be destroyed. Heavenly Father, grant to all our pastors and teachers of your Word to be faithful so we who listen will join them in your joy and not be destroyed along with all false teachers. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Read the full article

Beware of all the false deliverance cults rising up today. Men like Isaiah Saldivar, and John Ramirez, and Alexander Pagani who teach that Christians can be Demon Possessed/ Demonized. The Bible is clear if the Son has Set you Free You are Truly Free! No Christian Can Have a Demon! Christians have the Holy Spirit, Not Demons!! #deliverance #falseteaching #HolySpirit #demons (at New York, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/CmDjT1YsBze/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

A Missouri pastor has apologized after a video clip in which he threw a spiritualized tantrum from the pulpit and called his congregation "broke, busted and disgusted" and "cheap sons and daughters" for not "honoring" him with a watch from the luxury brand Movado went viral. The pastor, Carlton Funderburke of Church at the Well Kansas City, confirmed in a video posted on the church's social media accounts Tuesday that the clip came from a sermon he delivered to his charismatic non-denominational congregation on Aug. 7. This man needs to resign from the ministry, he’s in it for all the wrong reasons, the congregation should also ask for his resignation, stop giving these people your hard earn money! #falseteacher #CarltonFunderburke #broke https://www.christianpost.com/news/pastor-apologizes-for-calling-congregation-broke.html?clickType=link-most-popular https://www.instagram.com/p/ChZFaxaOqNC/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

WARNING AGAINST ERRORS In prior verses, Paul focused on a positive depiction of the Colossian believers and their faithfulness. Here, he transitions to warning them against false teaching. Jesus came to set captives free (📖 Luke 4:18; 📖 Romans 7:6; 📖 Galatians 3:23), not to leave people in spiritual chains. Paul personally dealt with sin seeking to make him captive (📖 Romans 7:23), yet fought against every evil thought to make it captive to Christ (📖 2 Corinthians 10:5). What could take the Colossian's captive? Paul mentions "philosophy," which he means in a very specific sense. This is not a broad reference to all meanings of that term. The Bible's stance on deep thinking, logic, and philosophy-as-philosophy is very positive (📖 Acts 17:11; 📖 1 John 4:1; 📖 Proverbs 15:28). In this context, Paul is condemning philosophy which is based on explicitly anti-Christian principles. In verse 4, he referred to these kinds of arguments as "deceptive," using a Greek term which implies trickery or cheating. In other words, actual critical thinking is not the problem. Self-deluding, worldly philosophical "tricks" are the problem (📖 2 Timothy 3:7). The false teachers of Colossae are using these kinds of attacks against Christ. Paul refers to "empty deceit." This would include hollow rhetoric or outright lies. "Elemental spirits," in this context, is a reference to the basic assumptions we use in our thinking (📖 Galatians 4:3). If a person starts from a blatantly anti-spiritual standpoint, they are going to come to anti-spiritual conclusions. This, again, reminds us that fallen human wisdom can be at odds with Christ's teachings. Paul also refers to "human tradition," reminding the reader that simply because an idea is preferred, or historical, does not make it true. The phrase in Greek is paradosin tōn anthrōpōn. This implies the laws, rules, or handed-down regulations of humanity. Paul wants the Colossians—and all believers—to focus on truth, and on Christ, not on trickery and human preference. #falseteachings #itiswritten #deception https://www.instagram.com/p/CeXEiHJPRmN/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Divine Calling
Have you wonder what is 'calling'? Why, how and when the calling happens? Is it what everyone says about it or is there more to the word "calling"?
Divine Calling The word calling can mean a hundred different meanings in our day-to-day life. There is no limit to what anyone can talk about or write about “calling.” My wife called me this morning to check on my day; my daughter called me to see if I had made her dentist appointment, and my mom called me to eat food. And this “call” word can be used in our life every moment. If you are a…
