I decided to bring this fanon concept back with something I always wanted from Disney (but may never get.) a Video Game adaption of Amphibia on a console system. (and, the reason I chose PlayStation 4 is because that is the main system I am using, AND because given when Amphibia was still on Television, if it DID have a videogame, then it would be on the PS4, as I don't think the PS5 was released yet.)

Anyway... If Amphibia were given a video game on a console like PlayStation (or, Xbox) I would want it to do the show justice, and be a fully open world game. All of Amphibia would be explorable (though, SOME areas would be blocked off by something) in a manner not unlike Skyrim, and it's huge explorable map. Although for variety, Anne Boonchuy wouldn't be the only playable character. Sasha and Marcy can also be playable at different parts of the game, with Wartwood Village, Toad Tower and Newtopia being your "home bases" depending on which character that you are playing at the time. (Also, Sprig, Captain Grime and Gen. Yunan could be companion characters. ALSO depending on which Calamity Girl you are playing as.) And, what the heck? let's make it an RPG with a level up system, and upgradable weapons and Calamity powers. darn. writing this, I now REALLY want to play this made up game. (curse you, Disney. and your lack of forethought. THIS could make you so much money in pre-orders alone.)

Happy Halloween!

The first Halloween they have after the events of Spring Break is the best Eddie had ever had. He’d always loved Halloween with its mystery and secrets, the hidden horror found in the films, and the candy everyone passed out to the kids. He loved watching the kids of the trailer park dress in their second-hand costumes to pretend to be fairies, princesses, and pirates like he too had once before. But before 1986, he’d always been alone. He would smear makeup on his face and run door to door in the early evening before anyone else was out then he’d saunter home and hide from the bullies outside with a lap full of candy and the small TV screen playing a horror flick. 

Halloween of 1986 though brought a new opportunity. Eddie could put on a mask and cease to be the boy that everyone in the town despised. He would no longer be a “known” killer that mothers pulled their children away from. He wouldn’t be the idiot that flunked out of high school after three tries. He wouldn’t even be the freak that people sneered insults at. That Halloween night, Eddie was able to just be himself with his friends. 

He and Steve weren’t dating at that point, but he could feel they were close. Eddie saw the way his eyes never strayed quite too far away from him and felt how his hands reached for him whenever he turned away. It wasn’t different on Halloween. 

Eddie’s face was covered with black and white paint and his hair was let loose on his back, the curls unruly and full. He was masquerading as a member of KISS, the only metal band that Steve could stomach to listen to for any period of time. Above all though, he wasn’t Eddie Munson. 

Steve dressed as Ferris Bueller wearing a costume eerily similar to Tina’s Halloween Party several years prior and matched with Robin who went as his best friend Cameron Frye. The kids dressed in random costumes that meant little to Eddie beyond recognition that they were having fun. 

The whole Party went door to door in Loch Nora for the full size candy bars then around the Wheeler’s neighborhood for some of what Dustin called, “the cheap shit”. When the night was over and most of the houses were out of candy to pass out, everyone headed back to the Byers’ house for the sleepover of all sleepovers. They carved pumpkins and ate pie, they made pumpkin seeds and cookies, they almost gave Hopper a heart attack when they started a food fight that wrecked the entire dining room (Eddie started it but he’s taking that with him to the grave). 

When the kids were too tired and the girls had retreated to bed, Steve led Eddie out to his car where they watched the stars and smoked some cigarettes. They ate all of Dustin’s candy and traded secrets under the gaze of the brightened moon. Eddie’d long forgotten about his face paint up until the point where Steve’s lips met his in a light kiss that shot electricity through his bones. They kissed and hugged until their noses were cold from the chilly weather and they had no choice but to head back inside. 

It was the best night of Eddie’s life. 

The morning after was not. He woke up with a bruising jolt from Steve’s elbow making contact with his jaw. His stomach hurt from the excessive consumption of sweets and his lungs were tight from the chain smoking. Most of all though, his head hurt from the loud raucous of the kids finding his facepaint all over the lower half of Steve’s face. 

He dealt with the outraged confusion of the kids, the stern ‘talking-to’ (more like screaming match) from Hopper for defiling his adopted son, and even the not so subtle looks from Robin and Nancy. Everything was worth it in the end when Steve carefully wiped off the makeup on Eddie’s face with nimble fingers and gentle swipes until all that was left was some slight staining of skin and his lips meeting Steve’s. 

Halloween of 1986 was the best of many moments to come. It turns out that for Eddie, ‘86 was his year after all.

 Mark Lee, a young hustler new to the scene but making a name for himself outside of the law, puts himself on their radar as word of his capabilities makes it way down the crime grapevine. Jaehyun, seeking to further his gang’s reach, recruits Mark into the NEOs. But when Johnny hears of the NEOs newest member’s success, he seeks to enlist Mark’s help to usurp the NEO gang from their long-seated place as number one in the underground crime ring. He plans to use Mark to take them down from the inside — starting with Jaehyun. Cut off the head and the body shall follow.

does anyone remember when team salvato had that “for fans by fans” fanart merch contest, but like it had a backstory that monika “wasn’t allowed to participate” cause “she always wins and it would be unfair :(” but like all images of her and mentions of her name were glitched out, and in the background of the promo art there was a piece of paper with her poem “Hole in Wall” mostly erased (and not even in her font asset, just in the neutral/MC handwriting font) so all signs pointed to monika’s file being deleted

but then literally none of that was ever directly acknowledged in the posts or the merch for the contest, or in ddlc+ lore, or on other posts from team salvato’s twitter or monika’s twitter account? so, though it probably wasn’t intended to be lore to begin with, we never got any context for it, even within the constraints of the “backstory” for this specific contest?

The game takes place in the early 2000s ...where a legend was spreading around about a haunted SD ( no your not reading that wrong) game in wich you die in 7 days after playing it.

you play as a young man trying to discover the truth behind the deaths and putting an end to them.

After making a fan made game cover for Amphibia if it had a videogame adaption on the PlayStation 4, I know I had to give The Owl House the same treatment, as like Amphibia, The Owl House DESERVES a home console game. Buuut...I can't really bring up this subject without addressing a glaring Elephant in the Room. And, that Elephant is called: "Hogwarts Legacy" (And, if you already know the story behind THAT little controversy. then you will understand why The Owl House desperately NEEDS to be a console game. If not, well just google "Hogwarts Legacy", and you will eventually see why. I won't go into any more detail, as that is a discussion for another time.) THAT being said...

If The Owl House had a home console videogame, it would most likely be what Hogwarts Legacy is/going to be. An open world game where you can freely explore the Boiling Isles, and even attend the Hexside School MUCH like Hogwarts (like, seriously. Hexside was clearly based on Hogwarts.) And while it would be easy to have Luz as a playable character, I feel this should be optional, and players should also be able to create their own custom character who can interact with the canon character, and accept missions from them. (EX: Luz needs you to collect ingredients for a spell she is working on, or Eda has a list of "rare" human items she needs you to find for her to sell.) And, heck. the game could also be like Red Dead Redemption, where you the Emperor's Coven Guards could chase after you if your activities in Bonesborough earn you a notorious reputation. (like getting caught stealing, Bounty Hunting, and causing too much chaos. Or, in other words: Playing the game like Eda would.) Honestly, The Owl House on PS4 (or, PS5) would be awesome to play, and would also make Disney more money than an Amphibia game would've.

Exciting news from Sony this evening, with the announcement that not only is a new Sly Cooper game at last in the works, it will be the first video game created entirely by AI.

The move was unveiled by Sony CEO Robert Sony Jr., who is battling ongoing accusations from shareholders that he is running the company his father founded into the ground. No journalists were invited to the press event, with Sony instead speaking the details into an automatic speech-to-text tool which was then improved with Grammarly(r) and emailed out to outlets that his Microsoft Outlook account considered to be relevant.

"AI has made impressive strides in muscling living, breathing humans out of various artistic fields permanently. With these programs now handling your dumb hobbies, you don't need to waste your time churning out paintings or poems or whatever and can now focus on your office job sixty hours a week," Sony reminded us.

To that end, every element of the upcoming Sly Cooper game will be procedurally generated from aggregated data pools. The series' famous art style will be briskly assembled via machine learning. Sly and friends will speak in recreations of their original actors' voices, uncanny both in their undeniable recognisability and their stilted, inhuman cadences. Their dialogue will be generated based on neural-network analysis of their previous adventures. Given the relatively short length of the series, however, Sony will also draw from other sources to fill out this last dataset, primarily Marvel movies and Sonic the Hedgehog games. That just happened - way past cool!

"Granted, that's the easy part," conceded Sony. "AI tools can easily replace writers, artists, and voice actors, but gameplay is another question. How hard could it really be, though? Code is code."

It's been a rough year for Sony financially, as the media and electronics giant only made a net profit of eleven billion dollars - far, far short of projected potential earnings of eleven and a half billion dollars. Sony has admitted this shortfall is unacceptable, firing seven thousand employees as a corrective measure. He hopes this experiment could turn his fortunes around.

"Nate Fox. Dev Madan. Kevin Miller, Matt Olsen, Chris Murphy, and whoever voices Carmelita," said Sony. "All of these are people we no longer need to pay. Hell, we didn't even pay the robot. What does it care? It's not like it's in a union. 100% of the profits will be going to the true backbone of society: faceless men in suits who used their pre-existing wealth to buy the legal rights to things. Like me!"

Once the AI generates the script, gameplay, art assets, voice lines, and any new characters, it will then blend these elements together in what Sony assures investors will most certainly be a video game.

"Just buy the damn thing," he concluded, prematurely loosening his tie. "If you love Sly Cooper, the only way to show it is to give me, the current rights holder, money. Do you kids still like NFTs? We can put an NFT in it too. That's not worth its own press conference though."

Sly Cooper: A Thief is a Person Who Takes Another Person's Property or Services Without Consent will be on sale, like, next week.
