Natsu: I can see Natsu being confused at first over why you were upset over your friend meeting other poeple. He’d brush it off as well saying something like “Well, why not be friends with them too?” It wouldn’t be until after Lucy smacks some sense into him that he realizes the truth about why you’re upset. He and Happy would go try and find something they know you really like so they could bring a smile on your face. If books are your thing, he’d ask Levy to find the rarest book she could in order to gift it to you.

Gray: Gray is less oblivious than Natsu and I can totally see him trying to figure out a way to cheer you up, but feeling incredibly awkward about it. He’d eventually murmur “I’m sorry to hear about your friend. You can do better than them, though. You have us” and take you for some ice cream.

Lucy: Out of team Natsu, she is the most caring. She’d be the one to give you a big hug and tell you that your family in the guild will always be there for you. Lucy also wouldn’t let you mope around alone, either. She’d take you to her apartment and make dinner for you. Her, Natsu, Happy and you would also play card games to get your mind off of everything.

Erza: Erza would try to tell you that everything is okay, but she’d probably accidentally say it way too bluntly, inadvertantly upsetting you. “Why are you so upset over someone who clearly doesn’t care about you?” And then have to find a way to make it up to you, most likely in the form of sweets. She isn’t heartless, and apologizes for coming off as brash.

Wendy: She would 100% cry with you. While she may not have much advice on this situation, Wendy would be the one there for you to hug and cry with.

Laxus: Laxus is another one who is pretty blunt when it comes to giving advice. He’d tell you the same thing Erza did, but wouldn’t apologize. He’d shrug and say “you can either be upset that they’re bailin’ on you, or you could spend time here with people who actually care for ya.”

Gajeel: Gajeel would sing you a song and play guitar. He thinks he is doing a great job of cheering you up, but in reality your poor ears hurt and you smile because the gesture is sweet. He’d also ask if you wanted to go for a walk to get some air.

Sting: Sting would pepper you in compliments to cheer you up. Did you make food today? “Wow angel, you’re the best cook ever!” “Hey, thanks for picking that item up. You’re the best.” Anything you could do, he’d find a way to compliment you for it. When you finally confront him over the constant compliments, he’d shrug and tell you “you looked real sad, so I figured I’d tell ya that you’re appreciated with everything you do.”

Y'know what! Fira has inspired me so I'm gonna talk about my second-favorite Dragon Slayer headcanon, and it goes as such:

The more stress a Dragon Slayer's body goes through, the more it dragonizes. This is a really dry way to say that I think injuries a Dragon Slayer gets will scar over with scales, and also that mental stress can have consequences that are…interesting, to say the least, from a writer's perspective.

Let me bring in my favorite punching bag, Gajeel. In my headcanon appearance for him, the scars on his right arm are replaced by patches of iron scales—rusting iron scales, depending on how old those scars are, because I think rust would be really cool and mimic how human scars fade from age, and ruddy rust blends better with human skintones than silvery iron. But I also really like the idea of him having iron spines all the way down his back, for the aesthetic. Which could have the Watsonian explanation of him potentially being so distrusting of anybody to guard him in the past, that his magic responded to his paranoia and trauma by protecting his spine from a literal backstabber. Two headcanons all wrapped up in a neat 'what if dragonization responded to human fragility by dragonizing it away' bow! :D

But like imagine Erza and Jellal finally finally settling down together, taking in Wendy and just living a peaceful life. Imagine it being a bit stilted and awkward between Jellal and Wendy for a while but eventually they are so close and Wendy feels so comfortable going to him for help or hugs or anything really. Headcanons None Asked For (Pt. 2)

Natsu calls Lucy, Mrs. Dragneel when they're having a fight, has a special ring to it he thinks. Lucy secretly loves it.

Lucy prefers Natsu with his hair down than in his usual style.

Natsu has nightmares about him turning into an etherious, he never tells Lucy however what he doesn't know is that she has them too. Somehow.

At weekends, they love spending time in home. Natsu paints Lucy's nails, gives her shoulder and foot massages, braids her hair. And Lucy cooks him his favorite meal at night, along with his favorite dessert.

Movie nights are less than enjoyable, they always argue over what to watch. It's a pain in the ass 'cause they have different choices : Lucy loves romcom while Natsu prefers action fantasy!

You would think it's Lucy who wakes Natsu up in the morning, however it's the opposite! Lucy wakes up to kisses everyday and she relishes in it.

Natsu makes breakfast most of the times, except weekends. Lucy loves his cooking 'cause yeah he's that good.

To begin, to make this easy let us establish this Dragon Slayer is an alpha. If you did not know you might suspect he was a beta with how he is so careless and goofy. Not your stereotypical stern tough guy alpha.

Natsu doesn’t care if you see him as an alpha or not, and he doesn’t care if someone doesn’t believe he’s an alpha. His status as a dragon slayer and member of Fairy Tail is his pride not something decided by birth or gender. Gender, who cares about that, are you strong or funny or nice? Thus goes his priorities.

So needless to say he’s not really into the whole, he has to court you by rules xyz due to his secondary gender. He’s going to court you how he believes a dragon slayer and guild member (because you will be adopted into Fairy Tale if you're not in it already) should be treated.

It might have taken him a long while to realize he wants to court you though. At first he just knew he liked being around you, and isn’t that enough? Spending life going on adventures and laughing together are most important to him. 

Once or twice he feels like frowning or growling when he sees someone get really close to you. Not just proximity wise because he too is a skinship with all the friends kind of person. But seeing someone attempt to get close to you romantically or emotionally and nudge him aside and out of frame? He doesn’t understand why but it burns him up inside.

I hate to say it but he tries to train it off, or just cling onto you and insist on starting a job right now. No he hasn’t picked one and yes it might be midnight but it's the perfect time to start a quest! No really-

He may go and confide in Master or Mira Jane. He knows he may get teased for it but he can’t figure these emotions out, and it's imperative to him to know because it's becoming stronger. His anger (its jealousy), his thoughts about you, why your scent is smelling sweeter and sweeter to him, all of it.

Bless this poor boy's soul because he really couldn’t figure out why he was “hungry” when he smelled your scent. He thought he needed to eat more food or fire because we don't eat friends. Thankfully they explained it's a physical and emotional longing to be closer with you.

This was not his first birds-and-bees talk but it was the one that made him realize he wanted you, and without them having to say more Natsu realized he wanted you as his mate.

Thankfully he does know from seeing others do it, although he thought it stupid at the time, the basics on how to court someone

His heart cannot take this he's so jittery and happy as he bounds up to you, if it's night time he may have broken in but that's okay! To hand you some hand picked flowers and a snack. He’s pretty forward about this, not subtle on starting the courting process. 

“Why? Because I want you to be my mate partner too of course!” Queue big happy grin

Lucy has helped him go shopping several times for you, blankets for your now shared nest. Food gifts galore.

No seriously everywhere you go, and you go to all places together now unless you ask for some space. He gets you food.

You looked away for two seconds and he disappeared. Don't worry he’ll be back in ten minutes with something scrumptious for you. 

If he has to go on a mission without you, or if you decide to take some time to yourself, expect a small little sweet or scone to be placed on your desk or in your hands. They are often a shade of pink, or dragon themed so you’d think of him.

Not huge on you wearing his clothes, with the exception of his scarf. He adores seeing you in it before he started courting you because he hadn’t realized yet, now he is obsessed wrapping it around you both as you cuddle. Or do anything for that matter.

Natsu did realize it's not practical while walking only after clotheslining you once…or twice…

He is super attentive to your needs, perhaps not romantically, but he knows you’re hungry before you do. 

Shivering? Not around him he knew to warm you before you knew you were chilled.

Tired, and he somehow has drafted you for a cuddle and nap session or has told the other guild members to go away so you can nest in a corner where he can keep an eye and make sure you are safe

Guild member pissed you off, he’s already squaring up to fight with you

You are feeling needy? He's right there giving you a hug

It all stems from his fighting experience funnily enough. He’s gotten really really good at reading body language because of it and he has yours down to an art form.

Natsu is strong and independent despite his love of skinship and kinship. However he will always be longing to be just a little bit closer to you and his gifts sometimes reflect as much.

Never in his life before would he have wanted to buy a massage, but here he is getting vouchers for couples massages. He heard about it from Elfman and it was a lightbulb moment.

Matching funny hats at the amusement park

Small little quirky dates to places to do things together, like making matching earrings. Or a food tour of a town together, quality time is his utmost number one gift and treasure. It's the best thing you can give him too, volunteer to spend time together and he is over the moon.

This goes without saying but Natsu is above all else, protective. You are strong or weak, it doesn't change this, he will fight god and anyone who looks down on you or tries to hurt you. Even if it's a guildmate in a pre ordained face off, someone will need to hold him back. You are too precious to him to risk losing, so please stay by his side forever.

Team Natsu at the zoo for the day?

Team Natsu at the Zoo!

If they go the day without being kicked out it's a good day! :) Let's focus on the IF part.

Wendy and Lucy's idea, they were just going to go together with Erza because they know how the boys can get, but then Natsu got involved and that got Gray involved and here we are.

They all want to see different things, Gray wants to see the arctic animals, Natsu wants to see the dangerous ones, Wendy wants to go to the petting zoo, Erza wants to see the biggest animals and Lucy wants to look at the cute ones lol

At first, they were going to split up, but Lucy knew that would end in disaster so they just spend the whole day doing everything!

Natsu wants to fight all the animals to see whos strongest :) he's has tried to climb into each enclosure. Lucy goes to the gift shop and ends up buying one of those child leash backpacks and forces him to wear it at all times. She's got a death grip on him.

They get to the artic zone, and Gray thinks he can make a better enclosure for them so he starts using his Ice make. He ends up freeing all the penguins. He also tries to steal one of the penguins Lucy goes and buys another pack back for him.

They forget Wendy and Erza at the petting zoo, Gray and Natsu end up dragging Lucy away because she refuses to drop the leashes.

Wendy loves petting all the animals, and Erza likes feeding them lol at first they were scared of Erza because she is very intimidating. But Wendy shows her how to feed them and they all end up loving her!

They all end up meeting at the elephant enclosure, Lucy is dead on her feet tired of being dragged around she passes the leashes off to Erza lol which is a bad idea. Because now they want to see who is able to lift an elephant.

Natsu breaks free from Erza and jumps into the enclosure, which causes Erza to chase after him and chaos ensues. Poor Lucy and Wendy get dragged into the whole mess, while Gray went off for some icecream

They get kicked out :( but they almost made it to closing time this time around!

i am not immune to the thought that lucy hated men after running away from her dad, and that natsu was the first guy she didn’t feel immediately scared of/repulsed by/weary of

like, yes, she flirted with that old mad for a discount on plue’s key - i can tell you for free that she hated every second of it, just cursing that he was a pervert for actually discounting the key at all (but her economic side still wished the discount should have been bigger)

and yes she met bora and was initially impressed with his magic - obviously he was actual dirt personified and everything, so clearly there were no neutral, mild feelings there

and maybe this is stretching it, but i bet it took a LONG time for her to get comfortable with Taurus - she initially thought he was scum as well for even looking at her tits when she was 15 (which he definitely was bc who gave him the right to thirst over a child) but then, years later she finally recognised that he didn’t flirt in a horny way - he just appreciated her for her, but the personality of his previous owner had stuck to him, specifically talk about tits and udders, so that’s the only way he knew how to talk to her, and since she was young she couldn’t keep him out for long enough for another vocabulary to stick

The range of Erik's potential diet is once again fascinating me, on the basis of the sheer number of things that can highly inconvenience/kill a human. Obviously there's the chemical/plant/animal poisons that first come to mind—y'know, arsenic, belladonna, the unpleasantness that happens if you try to eat a monarch butterfly, that sort of thing. And I do have fun wondering if Erik's the type of guy to just … snatch some poor, poisonously bright insect off the side of a trunk and pop it in his mouth, as is his due as a Dragon Slayer who are just kinda like that sometimes.

However. The thought of Erik carefully harvesting and making his own wild licorice and monkshood tisanes, making use of a well-loved copper teapot and his treasured, antique tea service painted with lead-based glaze … kicking back with a cordial of pure ethanol, and the cordial is of course made of lead crystal … Meredy wandering over to an unsupervised, brightly-colored cookpot because whatever's in there smells amazing, then suddenly Erik is tackling her away and shouting about the cyanide he just spiced his quail and grass pea soup with, did Oración Seis not tell her to not touch his cadmium-painted cookpots?! Just, Erik being fancy about his poison consumption, because humans sure have figured out a bunch of ways to really inconvenience themselves and he might as well take advantage of their mistakes.

Also, what counts as poisonous enough to use? Humans can intoxicate themselves on too much water. Can Erik use that? There are so many things that are nonlethally, and even unnoticeably, harmful to us, so how trace can a poison be before Erik can't convert it into magic? Carbon monoxide is a notoriously odorless, colorless gas that is very bad for us—can Erik convert a poison he can't perceive? Can he straight-up eat rotten food because it would otherwise be harmful for literally anything else to eat? Relatedly, does this mean he really likes fermented food, because that's essentially rotten food that humans like to eat? I have questions
