Unique Magic: Belle âme - She can calm people down or just give them an attitude adjustment. She basically just makes people nice when using her magic.

Nalani loves being kind to others. She loves it when she can brighten someone's day and make them feel better no matter how they've treated her. She is also amazing at calming people down. She has a relaxing and comforting disposition that helps her when dealing with people.

Nalani rarely gets angry, and when she does it's terrifying. Mostly because she never gets mad. Even when angry she rarely attacks, it's more of a calm lecture with the undertones of anger. Under the right circumstances she can get violent but she's more likely to let someone else do it.

Nalani is on call with Crowley for potential overblots to use her magic to try and help. Unfortunately she can't do too much against an overblot unless she knows then well enough that she might have some influence over them.

While it's not that severe, she can be shy. Especially if the person is extremely nice or extremely mean. She gets over it once she's figures out how they work. If she's shy after that she either likes them or they terrify her.

Fun fact: Ace calls her slap "The slap of disappointment" because she only gives when when she's extremely disappointed and doesn't know what else to do.

Riddle

While Lani isn't as strict with the rules as Riddle is, he does try to enforce them to the best of his abilities. They have a mutual understanding in that regard, even if Faatafunaga is a pretty fluid dorm compared to Heartslabyul. Lani does try to encourage Riddle to relax once in a while (to which Kol mumbles 'hypocrite' in the background-), but he does understand where he's coming from for the most part. When it comes to dorm meetings, they get along pretty well since they work to get things done.

Leona

As you can imagine, Lani doesn't really get along with Leona, but there is one passion that he shares with him. Napping. Though Lani doesn't agree with the lion's laziness, he can appreciate a nice relaxing nap in the middle of the afternoon. On the other hand, Leona’s pride despite his laziness tends to get on Lani’s nerves. Lani does his best to control good temper and therefore his Unique Magic, but Leona tends to push his annoyance to another level...He’s starting to wonder if he’s doing it on purpose to see what happens.

Azul

Lani actually tries to keep his distance from Azul, knowing how he takes information from others for his own benefit. He puts a shield up whenever he’s around the merman, and only willingly cooperates with him when it comes to dorm leader duties. He encourages his own dorm members to be wary of the man and his eels, although he’s been finding it harder and harder lately to keep up the front when Azul keeps pushing for answers and information...

Kalim

Lani can be exasperated with Kalim at times, but they get along surprisingly well, at least outside of dorm meetings. Lani finds Kalim child-like, so he treats him as such. He makes sure to keep an eye on him when Jamil can’t, and dotes on him like an older brother (which he will constantly refuse, no matter how much Kol teases him-). He just can’t help it with how much the dorm leader reminds him of Manu...

Vil

Lani is actually pretty neutral when it comes to Vil, he doesn’t dislike him like Leona, but he gets along better with Riddle. There was one moment when the two bonded, though. Lani was surprised when Vil walked up to him one day and asked him about hair, and the two spent a good hour exchanging tips and advice when it came to the subject. They weren’t best friends or anything ever since, Lani looks back on the memory fondly from time to time, and they get along decently during dorm meetings.

Idia

Idia perplexes Lani at times, but he can somewhat understand the desire to hide your face from the world. Manu does the same with his mask after all, albeit for different reasons. He gets along better with the dorm leader’s younger brother Ortho, but that doesn’t mean to say he dislikes the dorm leader himself. He does get the urge to visit once in a while, trying to push the boy out of his comfort zone and see the Sun. (Kol: coughDormMomcough)

Malleus

Lani can’t help but sympathize with the elusive dorm leader of Diasomnia. While luckily he doesn’t experience the same problems at home that he does at NRC, he does understand to a point what it’s like to be ostracized or avoided due to power and appearance. He tries to remind Malleus of dorm leader meetings and other such a events when he can, and he makes a point not to treat him any differently then he would anyone else at such meetings.
