Also not undertale related
A continuation of my last post! This is probably the most interesting bits! Again, I’ll put it under the cut for those not interested. Still kinda long, so be warned! (Also if you don’t know about the game, some of these things might get a bit confusing/weird >w<)
NOTE: All SC uniforms require specialized masks, gloves, and are fully sealed if capable. We’ll start from the most common SCs to the least common!
Common Carrier
Common Carriers would be enlisted purely in the event of handling an outbreak. They would be put in the frontline since they are “immune” to the Green Flu. Essentially, they’re expendables that are only used during outbreaks.
Hunter Carrier
Hunter SCs have minor visible physical mutations, making them the most normal looking of the SCs. Their uniforms are designed to allow more physical mobility, and they wear a red band to signify their SC type.
Increased lower body strength
This SC is similar to their infected counterpart in jumping ability, however they can only jump a little over half the distance, and require frequent breaks to continue traveling in such a way.
While still capable to scale buildings, it is done with much more difficulty and requires extensive training to master.
Poor Eyesight
When infected, these SCs begin to lose part of their vision, becoming partially/fully blind.
This, however, improves all other senses. They can hear a pin drop on a carpeted floor from over 100 feet away.
They can smell the difference between a non-infected and an infected person
Claws
While the physical mutations are limited, these SCs’ hands grow thick, sharpened claws capable of rending flesh from bone.
The nails on their feet may also grow similarly, but not in every instance.
Pain Tolerance
Due to the strain put on these SCs’ muscles, their bodies have mutated to be resistant to pain. This doesn’t mean they don’t feel it though.
Smoker Carrier
While this SC’s mutations are more extensive, they aren’t nearly as severe as their infected counterparts. This SC will mutate growths, primarily around the face, neck and chest, (As seen in game), which appear as more of a highly irritated rash or small boils. Their uniforms are more plain, with a yellow band to signify their type.
Thickened Skin
Unlike their infected counterparts, these SCs develop a hardened skin that is resistant to blades and claws. This is believed to be an altered mutation to the severe growths and boils that appear on a smoker.
Smoke
This SC is capable of blowing a large amount of thick smoke over an area, creating a smoke screen. Similar to their infected counterparts, the smoke is harmless, but has a putrid stench.
Tongue
Their tongue mutation is nowhere near that of the infected, but it does seem to have more variety in SCs, ranging from no mutation in the tongue, to being long enough that it no longer fits in their mouth.
Some variants are able to shoot out their tongue much like the infected, however this would only be useful in short distances, and it wouldn’t be nearly as strong.
If their tongue is cut off, however, it is capable of growing back, though the SC would be in extreme pain.
Physical strength
While not the strongest SC, they are still physically stronger than the average soldier, both in and out of combat.
Boomer Carrier
These SCs appear to be bloated, though less so than their infected counterparts, and in some cases will grow boil-like growths. Though they have a build-up of bile like the infected, it is nowhere near as severe. Simply shooting this SC, while it will hurt them as it would any human, won’t cause them to explode. Their uniforms tend to be oversized in the event of increased or decreased bloating, and they wear a green band to signify their type.
Bile
The increased build-up of bile is able to be thrown up like a regular boomer, but in controlled amounts. This has helped the military in mass producing bile bombs if needed.
This SCs’ stomach acid is far more acidic than normal, and rather than just attracting infected, it also can cause burns.
Due to the frequent production of bile, this SC requires a steady amount of food in order to keep their energy up as their body continuously produces bile.
This also means they need to frequently expunge bile from their system, as to prevent further bloating.
Charger Carrier
These SCs are the most similar to their infected counterparts mutation wise. This SC mutates increased muscle mass in one arm, most often their dominant arm. In most cases, the mutations don’t go as far as to hinder that arm’s usage, but it remains very obvious. These SCs’ uniforms have a sleeve removed for their large arm, and a brown band to signify their type. These SCs are also rarely allowed to walk freely amongst uninfected soldiers, due to risk of infection through physical contact.
Arm
The mutated arm will often be stronger than the other, the SC able to lift a fully grown person with said arm.
Despite the increased strength, this SC will have a lot of adjusting to do due to the mutation. They will have a difficult time learning how to work around the arm, and use it properly. Many SCs of this type report balance issues within the first month of mutation.
Increased Body Mass
While this SC’s growth primarily lies in their arm mass, this SC will also grow in height and weight in order to support the larger arm.
The bone structure of this SC will become thicker and many SC of this type will deal with severe growing pains as they mutate. These growing pains may persist after mutation, but will lessen greatly.
The legs will also become strong enough to run despite the off-balance weight of the arm.
Jockey Carrier
These SC come from the disabled population of Carriers, those who were bound to wheelchairs. They appear to be hunchbacked due to increased muscle growth in the upper back and neck, causing them to be top heavy. Most of these SCs use a cane in daily life to walk around properly. These SCs’ uniforms are fairly plain, fitted to their abnormal figure, and they wear an orange band to signify their type.
Jump
Similar jumping capability of the Hunter SC, but not nearly as good, and they aren’t as physically capable either.
These SCs are primarily used for scouting rather than combat.
Spitter Carrier
These SCs are similar to the Boomer SCs, however they produce acid rather than bile. This causes them a lot of discomfort and they have specific diets to adhere to in order to prevent inflammatory disease and relieve digestive pain. Their uniforms are fairly plain, with a bright green band to signify their type.
Acid
These SC are incapable of spitting their acid as a projectile, but they produce a lot of it like the Boomer SC, and thus the military has developed a special container for their acid. They use these as grenades.
This acid is corrosive to herself, however, and she produces it at a frequent rate. The Military has developed some medication in order to reduce the amount of acid she produces.
Tank Carrier
These SCs are rare. They mutate an advanced form of Gigantism, becoming increasingly tall and strong. Their uniforms are designed large enough to fit their form, and have a grey band to identify their type, not that it’s really needed. These SCs are also susceptible to anger issues, and will often need to be kept tabs on and provided proper mental treatment.
Increased Strength
While incapable of pulling a chunk of asphalt out of the road, these SCs are capable of crushing a human skull with one fist
This increased strength requires a lot of energy, and thus they require a large diet. The military, if this SC is within their ranks, ensures their diet is taken care of due to their usefulness. These SCs are also highly monitored.
Endurance
These SC are capable of fighting seemingly endlessly.
The more they fight, however, the longer they need to recover their stamina. (Typically by eating)
Pain Tolerance
These SC are capable of taking multiple bullet wounds before starting to feel weak.
They are also highly tolerant of pain, feeling at most a bad sting when shot.
Witch Carrier
These SCs are even rarer than the Tank SC, and also unstable. They appear as a human woman, but with a pale complexion and with white hair. Their eyes can be either a deep red or an almost luminous yellow. They appear to be very thin. These SCs can be very dangerous if angered, and are capable of temporarily losing control of themselves and becoming much more like their infected counterparts. They require a large amount of food, due to a high metabolism. They prefer sugary foods most, and get irritable when hungry. These SCs also have what seems to be a constant fever, making them sensitive to heat. Their Uniforms, despite this, provide full coverage, but are made of a thin, strong, breathable material to help alleviate this. They wear a white band to mark their type.
Increased Strength
These SCs are strong enough to throw a human a fair distance, or keep them pinned down long enough for them to slit their throat.
Claws
While their infected counterparts have long fingers which end in claws, these SCs have retractable claws.
If these SCs don’t have a proper diet, however, their claws will be weaker, susceptible to breaking or even being incapable of using them.
Their claws could easily slice through metal, and unlike their wilder counterparts, these SCs don’t behave animalistically when using them.
Pain Tolerance
Despite their small form, these SCs are similar to Tank SCs, able to take several bullet wounds before becoming weak, however they are not nearly as strong and can take damage much easier than the Tank SCs
Their hands no longer feel pain, due to their ability to grow and retract their claws. This does, however, mean they also have limited feeling in their hands as well.
Speed
These SCs are by far the fastest, capable of running down even the Hunter SCs within seconds flat
Eyes
These SC have incredible eyesight, capable of seeing in almost near darkness
They are also incredibly perceptive, with heightened hearing and smell
This does, however, make them sensitive to harsh light and loud sounds. If these SCs do not have good emotional discipline, they may become much more like their infected counterparts, flying into a rage to destroy what has disturbed them.
And that’s everything! Thanks so much for taking the time to read this! I thought it was interesting enough to share, and I put a lot of work into it back when I created it... last year I think? I hope you enjoyed!

Warning: Angst
Danvers sister x b!danvers
Word Count: 2342
Part 1 || Finale
The day Krypton exploded Kal-El was sent to Earth and so was Kara Zor-El. What people didn’t know was that another member from the House of El was also sent to Earth. You were only eight when Krypton exploded, due to your smaller frame you crawled into the leg space as Kara sat in her seat.
When the pod got knocked off course from Krypton’s debris, Kara shielded your eyesight from seeing its destruction. You could tell she was scared too but she was doing her best to be the older sister.
There was only one time you woke up in the Phantom Zone and that was the most alone you’ve ever felt with Kara asleep, then you realized it has always been this way. You didn’t know how long you were awake. It could’ve been minutes, hours, days or even years. All you knew was that Fort Rozz was just out the window and that your life was going to be spent with Kara in a pod.
Earth was a whole different experience. If Kara was quiet you were quieter. This worried Kara, you were always the energetic bubbly kid sister, but she understood after losing a planet full of family and friends, it was difficult. You were both told to keep your powers hidden and only you kept true to those words. When your powers manifested you didn’t use them as much as Kara did.
While Kara was so hell-bent on being a hero you wanted nothing more than to be seen as a regular human. You were always overshadowed on Krypton and the moment Kara came out as Supergirl it all came back to you. How Alura favored Kara, how you were always babied by Eliza, Kara and even Alex, and ultimately how literally empty it felt to be in the Phantom Zone. Only Krypton and Earth were lonelier.
You made it clear to Alex and Kara that you didn’t want to be some hero. But that didn’t stop the three of you from being three peas in a pod. You and Kara fought over food, you and Alex teased Kara with her taste of music and there was never enough room on Kara Danver’s couch when you visited from school.
While Kara followed in Clark’s footsteps to be a journalist and reporter you put your mind to technology. After high school you went to M.I.T and received a job offer by Lena Luthor herself once you graduated.
Kara only managed to convince you to strap on the cape when she fell downhill with the whole I sent Mon-El away and now he’s married. Your suit was the same blue but the yellow and red were white and that was really when Superfriends knew of you at all.
“There’s another Danvers sister!” Winn beamed.
“(Y/N),” you introduced.
“T-that’s very human,” Winn stared at Kara
“(Y/N), abandoned her Kyptonian name. Kasa Zor-El.”
“Because Krypton is not here anymore!” You scoffed at the stares you received before you threw in the towel and flew away from Kara’s apartment.
Kara flew after you as you hovered over the city skyline.
“Kasa,” Kara pleaded with concern.
“Stop Kara, that’s isn’t my name!”
“Yes it is. This is how you keep Krypton alive. I get it, I really do. You had a life there, family, friends. But it’s been fifteen years, and on the way here I lost you.”
“I had no friends or family on Krypton!” You snapped.
“W-What are you talking ab-”
“I-I’m not talking about blood Kara. I had family yes but ieiu (mom) favored you, Aunt Astra loved you, Earth even loves you. I felt and still feel awuhkh (abandoned).” You said it in Kyptonese knowing it had more effect on Kara.
Kara’s face only fell in sorrow as she looked at you with pity. Something you definitely didn’t need.
“Kar, this is why I didn’t tell you. I don’t need your pity, especially after I told you.”
“That doesn’t explain how you got like this. You use to be so bright and cheery.”
“Nice to know I’m dark and moody,” you rolled your eyes and flew off towards the Fortress of Solitude.
“That’s not what I meant (Y/N)!” Kara screamed after you on your tail.
“KARA! YOU WEREN’T AWAKE. YOU DIDN’T SEE WHAT I SAW!” You landed in the snow
“What are you talking about?”
“The Phantom Zone,” you sighed. “I sat in our pod and looked into the empty void. At first I was afraid, but with Kryton’s debris around I realized that the empty void I stared at was just a reflection of my life on Krypton and now on Earth,” You eyes filled with tears and so did Kara’s.
“I didn’t know you felt that way ie (sister).”
“I’ve tried Kara. I’ve tried to go back. Krypton was my planet but it wasn’t my home. I don’t think I can stay here anymore. I’ll help you with your problem but I need to find my home.”
Kara pulled you into a hug, one that if your DNA didn’t hold Kryptonian DNA would surely break your bones.
Apparently Kara and Alex thought it would be a good idea to head to Barry’s Earth for his wedding. Kara thought meeting the whole gang would help you find a home within yourself, Alex just wanted you there cause despite your powers you were still her little sister.
Having seen the way Kara’s friends adored Kara made it worse. During the rehearsal dinner as Kara reconnected with her friends and Alex drank the night away, you were nowhere to be seen.
You sat over the edge of Jitter’s roof with your lead lenses glasses twirled in your hands. Yellow lighting appeared with a gust of wind behind it.
“So how do you know Barry or Iris?” A voice came behind you.
“Barry, when he went to Earth-38 and helped my sister.”
“Ah so you’re the famous Kasa Zor-El,” the voice approached you.
“(Y/N),” you turned to your right side.
“Wally,” he sat next to you. “I know that look, it’s the look of being in the shadows.”
You looked at Wally questionably as he continued.
“You have the same powers or you’re even better than the hero yet people only see you as the sidekick. You have powers yet people still see any threat as something you can’t handle. You try your hardest but will always remain number two a second option if their hero is gone.”
“I relate on a whole different level. I mean my Earth does not need another Super. Supergirl always saves the day,” you mimicked the tabloids.
You and Wally shared a good laugh or two as the person in the shadows. It felt nice to have someone you can relate too but as always the heroes need a babysitter for their hero work. That’s how you found yourself when Nazis stormed the church.
You and Wally were put on guarding duty.
“So what’s the game plan?” Wally asked with you trailing behind him.
“There is none yet. Whoever attacked us knows who we are, so just get Joe and Cecile as far as possible,” Barry explained.
“(Y/N), I want you to go with them,” Kara pleaded from the cortex entrance.
You looked between Kara and Barry.
“No way, we can help out,” you and Wally said together.
“You guys are helping by keeping our family safe,” Barry and Kara said in sync.
“They’re right, until we know what they’re planning, no one is safe,” Joe agreed.
Kara and Barry both gave a head nod as you and Wally sighed in defeat. Wally headed out with Joe first and as you prepared to leave you muttered a word of your feelings.
“Awuhkh, ” you said again before disappearing.
Though being a hero isn’t your forte, after the conversation you had with Wally you were not going to sit idly by while Nazis invaded Central City. It wasn’t your city but you did have the power and the knowledge to figure out what the Nazis wanted.
This was where you had more knowledge with than Kara. Now all you needed was a laptop or computer.
You connected to surveillance cameras of Star Labs to the screen and watched the process. Wally stood behind you as you both watched and pieced together the information given to you.
“Huh,” you laughed as Felicity found a location before a realization hit you that the prism they were after would mimic the red sun. “Oh crap.”
“What, What is wrong?” Wally asked.
“This prism can be altered to mimic the affects of the a red sun,” you explained.
“What does the red sun do?”
“Due to the yellow sun Earth has, Kryptonians are able to have different abilities. And the red sun gets rid of our powers, in short we will be humans.”
“So they’re trying to kill Kara?”
“But something isn’t making sense if they wanted to kill Kara they could just use Kryptonite.”
“Unless they’re making her body weak enough to cut her skin,” you physically snapped at Wally’s prediction and began typing.
The monitor zoomed into Alex with the Kryptonite arrow. Wally raised the volume at the previous recorded message with Earth X Kara having too much radiation
“Oh my god,” you froze.
“They’re using Kara as transplant.”
“And they just walked themselves into a trap.”
“You have to go,” Wally looked at you.
“What?”
“If Kara is going to be fighting herself there may be another version of you, I’ll stay here with Joe and Cecile. They need you more than they need me.”
“Godspeed Wally,” you patted him on the back before he pulled you into a hug.
“Go get em,” he smiled.
As you flew back to Central City what you planned on the way there was definitely a plan Kara Danvers wouldn’t like.
Getting through the Nazi soldiers that was the easy part, getting tthough to Kara X that was a different story. You walked towards Kara’s scared heart beat as you breathed in some confidence with what you were about to do.
You stood on the further side where the “red sun” couldn’t touch, you hid from Nazi soldiers that patrolled between the hallways before you headed towards the red room.
“It’s not going to work, you’re not going to get what you want,” you heard Kara say as you built up enough courage and walked towards the room.
“Really,” Kara X said and hovered over Kara
“Yes, really.” You’re own voice surprised you with how much power it had.
“Kasa,” Kara X stood in shock. “You died on Krypton!”
“In your universe maybe,” you stood your ground.
“And what. You’re going to stop me?” Kara X scoffed.
“No, I came for an offering.”
“(Y/N), you don’t have to do this!” Kara struggled to get out of her restraints.
“And what do you have to offer?”
“My healthy, younger heart in exchange for Kara and my friends freedom.”
You kneeled on your right leg with your right hand above your heart and your head slightly bowed. A Kryptonian promise.
“Kasa Zor-El! Don’t do this!” Kara was on the verge tears.
“Your sister died on Krypton, this way you will always have her with you,” you ignored Kara.
“I have to admit, normally I wouldn’t like such weakness but any warrior who faces their death with no fear is honorable,” Kara X beamed.
“She would’ve done the same for me.”
“Deal!”
As if on cue Thawne rushed in with Führer. Kara X and him shared a kiss before Thawne patted the gurney for Kara X to lay in.
“We’re going to need a new lab, I made a deal with my sister here,” Kara X pointed to you as Oliver and Thawne looked at you. “An exchange of her heart for her older sister’s freedom.”
“We don’t know if she’s a match,” Oliver growled.
“Do you dare defy me my husband?”
“No,” he puffed.
Thawne smiled “Don’t worry Kara Zor-El And Kasa Zor-El are practically twins.”
“Can the procedure be done on the Wellenreiter?” Oliver asked.
“With the prism it can be done anywhere.”
Kara X nodded, picked up Oliver and flew towards their version of the Waverider.
“Kara Zor-El ukiem, :zhalish. (Kara Zor-El I love you as my family, forgive me)”
You followed closely behind as Thawne smirked at Kara before he took the prism and disappeared. Kara still had the effects of the red sun in her system, she struggled harder and harder to release herself from the restraints as the leather dug into skin and drew drops of blood when Iris and Felicity entered the room.
“Kara,” Iris freed the restraints.
“W-where are the Nazis?” Felicity asked.
“Kara!” Alex threw the gun to the side and hugged Kara.
“Alex! They took her,” Kara cried. “They took (Y/N).”
Kara immediately wiped her tears and jumped onto the floor determined to get rid of her culture to save her sister. Only she has never felt as weak as she did at the moment as she collapsed onto her knees. She tried to get back up, the harder she tried the harder her body shook.
“Kara take it easy,” Alex held Kara once again.
“A-alex I c-can’t l-lose h-her,” Kara cried.
“I know, but if you go out there now. You will be killed!”
In that moment Kara finally felt you felt on Krypton, The Phantom Zone and even times on Earth. She hated it, she hated the lonely feeling even when the room was filled with friends and family, and she hated that you felt this way for you while life. A scream that rivaled the Canary erupted from Kara.
The whole room fell silent with goosebumps from Kara’s screams. No one has felt someone else’s pain as they did with Kara’s. It was the type of agonizing scream that puts any other thought on hold and drags everyone in a nearby vicinity into the same agony Kara was feeling. She lost her blood sister and felt guilty that you would never find the home you yearned for.

Bubble Gum Pink Lollipops (Goro Akechi x Shy!Reader)
So an anon asked me todo this but somehow it was flagged? Prolly ‘cause of the gif, tho there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. (you know, I don’t do NSFW)
Your clumsiness is actually how the two of you met.
You were running to the train station from the anime figurine and manga store.
As usual, you lost track of time while you were sneakily reading the manga; without the intent to actually buy the book. You thief!
One text from your mom, wondering as to your whereabouts, was all it took for you to become sonic in a split second.
Unlike a normal person who would watch where they were going, you were basically running blind.
Then you met him.
Falling head over heels for him at first sight, quite literally in fact.
You sat on the ground, rubbing your head as you watched the blinding aura surrounding the man you just bumped into, fading away.
He was a tall, long-haired, brunette who looked like an angel (probably due to your blurring eyesight but eh, what do I know?)
The boy turned over to you and lent down to help you get back onto your feet.
He said something but you couldn’t hear him; still in your daze.
Once you snapped out of it, you were back to your usual shy, clumsy, happy-go-lucky self.
“Oh! Er S-sorry for uhh..um b-bumping into you! I really didn’t mean to I just kinda-uh, well I was-”
The boy let out a chuckle with a radiant smile plastered to his face.
It was then you realized who he was.
Goro Akechi, you weren’t a big fan of him since you basically fangirled over the Phantom thieves.
But it wasn’t that you hated him at all, nope, the exact opposite in fact.
You really liked him, just too shy to admit it.
You didn’t care that the two of you had a difference of an opinion, It was his opinion after all.
“S-sorry, I didn’t mean to laugh at you. It was just your rambling.” He said, still holding your hand.
“Y-yea. I uh, do that a lot. S-sorry, I’m just really shy around others.” You turned your head the other way to avoid eye contact.
“That’s quite alright, I thought I might’ve been because of who I am”
“Oh no! I know who you are b-but I’m like this around everybody. P-personally I don’t really think of stars as gods..” You muttered that last part but somehow Goro’s hearing still caught onto it.
Those words touched him. He always longed to be treated as a person, not a toy, not an assassin, not an untouchable star.
Something told him that maybe you would finally be the one to treat him as such.
“I’d love to help you out with social interaction issues.”
At his words you shot up startled, he let out another chuckle.
“A-are you s-sure?! I’ll just be a nuisance! D-don’t you already have a lot on your hands r-right now?” You rambled again
“Trust me, you’re no bother to me.”
Your cheeks were burning, so much so that you felt as if you might explode.
“S-so, w-will you let g-go of my um hand now?”
Goro stumbled back in embarrassment for not noticing that he’d held onto your hand for so long.
“S-sorry!”
Goro adored your carefree nature.
You were an air head for most of the time, forgetful, tripping over your own feet at times, forgiving people even if they did wrong.
You were someone who he couldn’t fully understand.
But then again, maybe that’s why he loved you so much.
Every single time the two of you would meet up to help you with your speech, at first the two of you would be practising but by the end, It would just transition to you going on and on about manga and animes you loved.
You could go on and on for days about how you loved this and that anime/manga.
When you felt more at ease around Goro, you opened up about your romance novel obsessions.
At first Goro was surprised at the revelation, but he realized that it made sense for you.
Although Goro isn’t much of a flirt, he’d give you presents as a way to show his love.
If there was a manga that you wanted, you already know what’s on the top of his shopping list. (It’s even above food and pancakes)
New anime merch you want?
Boom!
Arrived the next day!
He would spend everything he has to see you blush when he gives you the gift.
You would continuously tell him to stop spoiling you but he can’t help it.
He enjoys seeing you fight with him, as he gives you a plethora of cute little trinkets he’d thought you’d like, and presents.
“G-goro!! I love you very much but, t-this is too much!!”
The flustered you is one of the best sights in his world.
(tbh, anything he’d do, made you blush and become flustered within minutes)
He always waits for you outside of your school, waiting for to run over to him and shower him with kisses.
You always seemed to shower him with an abundance of your unconditional love.
Anytime he’d show a sign of stress, even with all his might to hide it you’d find out.
Immediately you’d drop everything and rush to his side,
Dragging him to the couch,
Giving him a proper meal,
Throwing a blanket over him and beginning your cuddle session.
You were all he looked forward to.
To you, Goro was your knight in shining armor, keeping you far from anyone who even dared to hurt you in anyway.
To Goro, you were his sun, your warm rays chasing any saddening darkness surrounding him.
He hadn’t had a beautiful, loving and adorably flustered sun in his sky before you.
You being a total klutz never failed to allow Goro to show off his knightliness.
Falling off the ladder? He caught you in his strangely strong arms.
About to drop your prized, limited edition manga in the dirty water? He caught it and brought the waterproof case to protect it!
Left your project at your home? In lightning speed he’s at your home to get your project.
You’re his sun, he’d go above and beyond for his sun.

Mystic Force: Dark Age
The Kingdom of Aytolis stood glimmering in the midsummer sun. The inner walls were bustling with activity, while guards patrolled the outer walls, all wary about incoming attacks or threats. The kingdom was ruled by its Queen, Marlis, and protected by the Knights, led by the Wolf Knight, Kalmus. Guarding the inner walls and city of the Kingdom, however, were Queen Marlis’ personal mages, five men and women that commanded the elements themselves. Walking into the war room, Marlis smiled as she observed the bustle. “How goes things this day?” she asked, walking over to the man in red. “Your Majesty,” the Red Mage said, bowing his head. “You grace us with your presence. Reports are scarce today. Trilia’s reports from the winds say there are clouds on the horizon, moving this way at a remarkable pace, but she doesn’t know what they are or if they’re storm or other entities.” “Keep me informed, Praxis,” Marlis said with a smile, placing her hand on the mage’s shoulder. “Have you seen my daughter?” “Princess Yelena? The last I observed of her, your majesty, she was going with Corran to the kitchens. That was about an hour ago,” Praxis said with a gentle smile. “You know how she is when she gets with Corran. Both of those girls lose track of time. Especially when we need Corran’s expertise here for her aqueous reports.” Marlis laughed, smiling softly. “I do understand those two. Being the youngest, they do get on like a forest and your element, old friend.” “That they do, your majesty,” Praxis said with a smile. He reached into his robe and grabbed his wand, a crooked and worn piece of wood with his symbol of a Phoenix on the tip. He formed a firebird, holding his arm out and petting its head gently. “Find Corran and the Princess. Report directly back.” The bird sang out, lifting off and flying out of the war room on its mission. Marlis looked around, watching the other Mages. Trilia, the mage of Wind, sat meditating in a corner, her legs drawn under her as she floated in the air with her powers, serenity on her face. Thrane, the mage of Lightning, stood looking over maps, his eyes focused as he kept searching for ways to protect the castle and kingdom more then it already was. Last, the Queen’s eyes drifted to Granix, the mage of forest. He was pouring over a book like he was trying to read between pages. The sound of a bird filled the room, the flaming phoenix landing on table in front of Praxis. “Master Praxis, I have located Princess Yelena and Corran. They’re in the stables with the equine tamers. Both girls are in rather high spirits.” “Thank you, my phoenix,” Praxis said, waving his hand and dismissing the living fire. “Your Majesty.” “I heard, Praxis,” Marlis said with a small smile. “I’ll take Kalmus and find them.” “Yes, your majesty,” Praxis said, bowing his head. Marlis walked out, heading for the other side of the castle to find Kalmus. She bowed her head to the servants and other workers, smiling as she did. It was no secret that people tried to say Marlis wasn’t a good queen due to no king, but it never slowed the Queen down. Nearly in her mid-forties, the Queen was still and quick and spry as she was in her youth. Having her daughter never slowed her down, not in life or the training she undertook with both Kalmus and the Mages. A door opened, a man in armor walking out and nearly stumbling into the Queen. “Your majesty!” Kalmus said with a start, stepping back and bowing his head. “My apologies, my lady. I was not observing where I was going.” “Kalmus, please. You know you can just call me Marlis. We have known each other all of our lives, my darling,” the queen said with a smirk. “Not to mention the trouble we got into in our youth, or do you forget that?” Kalmus chuckled, shaking his head. “No, Marlis, I do not forget. I remember one particular summer night nineteen years ago more than most, however.” Marlis blushed, her hands over her stomach. “You said we should never speak of that night. Saying the by-product of it was my late king’s,” she said, looking at Kalmus with regret in her eyes. “A lie we must keep for her sake.” “Do you want to keep it, my dear?” Kalmus asked, putting his hand on Marlis’ arm. “I don’t think we can for much longer.” “I know,” Marlis sighed, looking away and backing up. “Come with me. We must retrieve her and Corran from the stables.” “Of course, we do,” Kalmus said, shaking his head. He knew Marlis changing the subject was a way to dodge the topic of conversation, and he knew they’d have to address it one day. He followed beside Marlis, his hand resting on his sword. Making their way toward the stables, the pair heard the two girls giggling and laughing, Yelena’s voice carrying louder than Corran’s. Marlis cleared her throat, cocking an eyebrow. Yelena and Corran yelped and jumped, the pink mage standing in front of her princess and friend with her wand out. “Mother!” Yelena said, putting her hand on Corran’s arm. “Your majesty! Lord Kalmus!” Corran squeaked, bowing quickly. “What are you two doing, daughter?” Marlis asked. Yelena bit her lip, looking down. “We were in the kitchens when one of the cooks said the riders were bringing in new bucks and mares to break for the Guard. I wanted to observe, and Corran said she’d come with me to protect me if something happened. I didn’t think you’d mind, Mother. I wasn’t far from protection.” Marlis sighed, pinching her nose. “Yelena, you know why I you within eyesight of a guard at nearly all times. Corran missed a meeting because she was with you.” “Oh, no! The Council meeting! Praxis is going to have my hide for sure this time!” Corran said, her eyes wide. The sound of lightning filled the air, an eagle made of lightning coming to rest on Corran’s arm. “Your Majesties, Lord Kalmus, Corran. Return to the Castle at once. Trilia uncovered something, and the clouds have shifted.” “One moment, Thrane,” the Pink Mage said. Corran threw her arm out, forming a water nymph from a trough and sending it off.  It returned a moment later, bowing her head and disappearing. “He’s right. The winds have changed. We don’t have long.” The lightning eagle disappeared, Marlis nodded. “Then let’s get back,” she said, looking at her daughter. The four headed back to the castle as quickly as they could, but as they approached the doors, dark clouds surrounded the castle, Kalmus stepping in front of Marlis and Yelena. Lightning struck the ground, a figure walking out surrounded by three others. “Halt. Speak your name!” Kalmus said. The woman in front laughed, large butterfly wings sprouting from her back. “I am Amaranth. I am claiming this Kingdom as mine, and you, dearest Wolf Knight, are not to stand in my way.” Kalmus growled, narrowing his eyes. “My queen, Princess, Corran. Run. I will hold off these four.” “Kalmus,” Marlis said, putting her hand on his shoulder. She turned him to face her, leaning up and kissing him softly. “Be safe, my love.” “I will,” Kalmus said, nudging Marlis behind him again. The younger of the women around Amaranth giggled, shaking her head. “So cocky in your abilities, Wolf Knight. You can’t compete with us,” she giggled, bouncing on her feet. “Silvaria,” the third said, shaking her head. “You are insufferable, child.” “Oh, lighten up, Dahlia. I’m just having some fun with my food,” Silvaria giggled, her eyes scanning Kalmus. “Enough,” Kalmus said, narrowing his eyes as he drew his sword. Marlis took her daughter’s hand, running through the castle toward the war room. “Mages! Something has invaded the Castle. Prepare the final defenses.” “Majesty, if we implement those defenses, you know the outcome,” Granix said, stepping forward. “You know what will happen.” “I do, loyal Granix,” Marlis said, the castle shaking as a blast rocked the walls. “But, it is what needs to be done.” “Yes, ma’am,” Praxis said. “Lady Yelena, with us.” “Mother—” Yelena said, taking her mother’s hands. “Mother, please. What’s happening?” Marlis smiled softly, taking a wand topped with a snowflake out of her dress and pressed it to her daughter’s hands. “You are the future of Aytolis, my daughter. I love you. Your father and I will watch over you, in this life and the next.” “Father? But I don’t understand, Mother. What is going on?” Yelena asked, tears falling down her cheeks as part of the roof was knocked in, jumping and flinching close to her mother. “Jinaos wasn’t your father. Kalmus is. I had you when I was short of your age, my love. I’m so sorry we didn’t tell you before this. We hoped…we’d have more time,” Marlis said. “Go with the Mages. They’ll protect you. I have one last task to accomplish.” “Mother!” Yelena yelled, Praxis and Thrane grabbing her and leading her away. “MOTHER!!” “Goodbye, my darling snow plum,” Marlis said, hearing the wall slide closed and Yelena’s screams dying off. She turned as the wall collapsed, Kalmus being thrown down by Amaranth and Dahlia. She knelt beside her lover, her hand on his chest as she tried to stop him getting up. “Queen Marlis. You should have just surrendered in the courtyard. Would have made this a lot easier, my dear,” Amaranth said, cocking her head to the side. Marlis smiled, turning her stare to Amaranth. “You underestimate me, Amaranth. I was trained in magic. Your ilk will never get your hands on Aytolis.” She held her hands out, a glow surrounding her as she chanted an ancient incantation. “What are you doing?!” Amaranth snarled, rushing for Marlis. Before the butterfly-styled witch could hit the Queen, the war room exploded, the four would-be conquering witches being sealed away, the Queen giving her life to save the kingdom. Deep in the catacombs as dust fell from the sieges above, Praxis helped Yelena onto a stone table, taking her hands. “Your mother asked us, my Princess, that in the event of an attack that would doom the Kingdom, we were to lock you away in a sort of eternal slumber until the time to rise was upon you. You will sleep, and when you wake, you will still be the same as you are now, just in a new time.” “Praxis, please. You have to save my mother,” Yelena said, her hands shaking as she clutched the wand from her mother. “Please…” “There is nothing more to do for Marlis, my dear,” Trilia said, sitting beside Yelena. “The spell must be woven quickly, before those four find us down here and kill you.” Corran knelt down and hugged Yelena, closing her eyes. “Goodbye, Princess. It was an honor knowing you,” she said softly. “The honor is mine, Corran,” Yelena said softly, hugging the youngest mage back and trying to fight tears. “Brothers, sisters. Your wands,” Praxis said, holding his hands out. He gathered the five wands, each topped with their Mages’ respective symbol, placing them in Yelena’s hands. “Find the Champions that will push this darkness away for good. You must believe in yourself, Princess.” Yelena nodded, clutching the wands as she watched the five Mages gather around the stone slab. As they began chanting, their bodies glowed with energy, colored to match the elements themselves before they swirled and surrounded Yelena’s body, encasing her in a glass tomb until the day she was to wake. A thousand years passed, and Aytolis was remembered only in myth and legend. Some speculated that it was a fairy tale, taught to children to teach them a lesson. Some believed it existed. Soon, all would be put to the test as Yelena’s story is about to unfold.
This is a prequel to an RPG I’m doing on another site. I wanted to fill in the backstory some before I started the game and I’m happy with how this turned out. :D

Blinded By Rage a bnha fanfic blind villain deku Chapter 1
Summary: Slowly numbing was all he could feel as shock took over his body. Darkness was all around him as Bakugou stood before him, conflicted. Blind, that's what Midoriya was now, blind and empty, yet filled with sorrow and buried deep within him, rage.In the middle of the night he could sense them, hear their whispers. They beckoned to him, yet he was hesitant to their summons. The voices didnt care as they dragged him out of his hospital bed, telling him to join them. Soon he would, a villain to be.
Things weren't supposed to go this far.  It was an accident, it had to be, he had never felt something like this before.  Or he had never felt the complete lack of something like this.  All of his senses, gone, lost with the sudden suprise after the exploding punch to his face.  It was dark, he was closing his eyes shut, his hands clutching tightly onto his head.  The only sense he could some how grasp was the pain, but even that was fading, numbing, probably due to the shock.
The room was silent, uneasy.  The kids were used to Bakugou's bullying, but this took things to a whole new level.  This time the arguments between Midoriya and Bakugou got more heated than they ever witnessed.  Blinded by rage, Bakugou used his quirk to land an explosive blow on his quirkless classmate.  As soon as he realized what he had done, he froze and stared down at the other, speachless. He looked down into his hand as the other students crowded around. His thoughts seemed to echo through him, What have I done? What have I done?
The feelings of disgust, shame and anger filled him to the brim.  But this time, these feelings he felt weren't for anyone else but himself.  Guilt ate at his very core and he was frozen, unmovable.  Bakugou was too focused on his actions and feelings to notice the teachers dragging him out of the room and Midoriya being carried out on a stretcher.  He was sat down in an office as the injured student was wheeled inside of an ambulance.  Parents were called, parents were crying, parents were shouting.
"Izuku!  Izuku!  what happened to my Izuku!"
"Why would you injure your own classmate, Katsuki?!"
His mom was shouting, Miss. Midoriya was crying, but their words were all a blur to him.  He was overwhelmed and overstimulated, "Just shut up!  That Deku deserved it.  He will never be a hero, everyone knows it!" No.  No.  I didn't mean it. His thoughts were a messed up jumble,  That's not what I wanted to say.  His anger towards himself always seemed to find an outlet to lash out at others.  It was too late to stop himself, he just continued to do the wrong thing, even when he didn't want to.
Bakugou's mother slapped him then grabbed him by the ear, pulling him out of the room.  His father stayed behind to hold a civil conversation with the teacher, councilor, principal, and Izuku's mother.  He apologized profusely for his son's behavior, begging them to let him stay on the hero course and that they'll accept any punishment as long as they could have this one request.
Bakugou's future was held to a vote.  Most of the teachers agreed that if Bakugou's anger was somehow managed with counseling of some sort, he would be an exceptional hero.  So it was decided, he could stay on the hero course as long as he stayed in anger management classes and completed a certain amount of hours of community service.  Afterall, they didn't want the future of a bright student with great hero potential to be wasted on a quirkless nobody.
"Hey kid, open your eyes"
Midoriya was afraid to open his eyes as the ambulance rushed to the hospital.  It stung and he could feel the blood run down his cheeks.  He was afraid of what he would learn if he were to open his eyes, but he knew something was wrong.  He knew the man was just trying to do his job, to give him emergency care, but he couldn't.
He shook his head, "n-no"
"Come on kid, I have to see what's wrong to help you."
He wanted his mom, her sweet comforting words and to hold her warm hand.  He wanted her to tell him that everything was fine.  He took a deep breath. He reasoned with himself, knew that his mother would want him to do what the EMTs asked.  So he soon did, he opened his eyes for them.
The EMT must have seen worse before, because for what he could see and hear, the man made no reaction.  That's right, see.  Midoriya couldn't see, he couldn't see, surrounded by darkness.  He was dumbfounded as realization hit him longer than expected.  A light gasp left his lips.
The EMT thought the gasp from the boy was because he started to clean up the blood and disinfect the burn marks on his forehead, upper nose, eyelids, and upper cheekbones under his eyes.  From what the man could see, he didn't see anything wrong with the boys eyes, the looked normal.  Except they were slightly pink and bloodshot, but that would go away by the next day.  As the man began to wrap the bandages around the top half of the boys head, covering all the burn marks, Midoriya finally found it in him to speak up.
"...u-um...I can't see..."
The EMT lightly snickered, "Well yeah, I just wrapped bandages around your eyes."
Midoriya shook his head, "No...before that.  When you asked me to open my eyes.  When I opened them, I couldn't see anything."
There was silence and the ambulance came to a stop.
The EMT rubbed the back of his head, "Um...well, now that we are at the hospital, the doctors can look deeper into it."
The back doors of the ambulance opened and he turned to look in the direction of the sound.  It felt as if all his senses were now heightened without his eyes.  He didn't like it , that growing sense of unawareness and anticipation.  He flinched as the stretcher began to move, in which direction, he didn't know.  He sighed, maybe this was his punishment for chasing after an impossible dream, a smack in the face by reality to bring him back to his senses.  A quirkless hero...unthinkable.
Midoriya was sitting in the hospital bed or lying down at an angle.  His mother had arrived at the hospital soon after he had.  The doctors had already unwrapped the bandages, his mother cried at the sight and at the news.  They examined him and they were waiting for the news.  His mother was holding his hand and he appreciated the comforting gesture, but he still couldn't disagree with the reality.  He could never be a hero, no matter how hard he tried.
It had been a few hours, but finally the doors opened and his doctor came back with the results.
"Seems that your son's retina and cornea has been burned.  The rest of the burns were a bit more server, but not terrible.  The burns weren't bad enough to leave terrible markings, but they will leave light pink scars.  Luckily his eyes were open, so his eye lids weren't burned shut to the eye.  The burns to his eyes weren't bad to cause scaring, markings, or discoloration in his eyes, but were still bad enough to leave him blinded."
The doctor read everything off of his clipboard until he looked up at Miss. Midoriya, who was shaking and crying.
"We will keep him under our watch for a few days to make sure no infections take place.  We will give him pain medication and burn treatments, but we can not save his eyes."
Miss. Midoriya jumped up with a cry, "There is nothing you can do?!  There has to be someone with a quirk to heal his eyes!  Please, doctor."
The man frowned and sighed, "I'm sure there is someone out there with a quirk like that...but we don't know anyone like that who can help.  Maybe if you ask around you can find someone.  But as of right now, we have no one."
The doctor soon left as Midoriya's mother cried, gripping her son in a tight hug.  Through all of this, he sat still and never muttered a word.  He didn't make a move to hug his mother back or made any move to comfort her.  Like that any hope left was gone, replaced with an emptiness.  If he were to look any deeper inside of himself, he would find anger and hate toward the world for making him this way, for cursing him.
It was the middle of the night, or so he thought.  He couldn't tell and he wondered if he would eventually give up trying.  But that's when he heard the footsteps, more than one person.  He didn't know who it was, but he knew his mother's footsteps sounded heavier than that.
So he whispered "Mom?"
"Not the doctors either."
It was a girls voice that replied and he could her her lightly giggle.  That giggle was unsettling, causing a shiver to go down his spine.  Now that his sight was gone all of his senses were on high alert.  That's when he felt the hands cover his mouth, hold him down.  With the set of hands,  he could tell there was at least four people in the room who didnt belong.  He flinched and the girl giggled again.  Soon he heard another voice, a voice that didn't belong to the people holding him down, since that voice was farther away.
"We knocked your mother unconscious, but dont worry we didnt harm her."  The voice was scratchy, breathless, evil, "We have come here to give you a proposal.  Join us and we can heal your eyes.  I can sense it, your rage and hatred.  We could use someone smart like you, one who knows all weaknesses and strengths.  A spy who can easily steal information without being suspected."
Villain. Villain. Villain.  That word was on repeat inside of his head. His whole body screamed dangerous.  But his eye sight could be restored, he would be able to see and his mother wouldn't be sad.  He would be able to see his mother smile instead of hear her pained words, her cries.  Don't fall for their trickery.  He shook his head no, his mouth still covered by the girls soft small hands.
The voice seemed to pur which done nothing to sooth his nerves, "Come on, don't be like that.  We've been wanting someone to test this quirk out on.  We've bioengineered it and we want to bestow this gift to you.  You would no longer be quirkless and you will have your eyesight back.  All you have to do is work for us.  Come on, I can taste your longing for a quirk." There was a pause, "for revenge"
The way the man said that word caused Midoriya to shake, with anticipation, fear, and with some small part of him, excitement.  It was as if the others could tell that it was there, that small part of him that he feared and disgusted.  He decided he couldn't let that side of him win, to become the thing he detested most. A villain.
"Toga, move your hands and let him speak for himself, what he wants."
He could feel the girl nod and remove her hands, yet he could still feel her touch lingering there.
"I-I...I won't accept your offer."
And just like that, he gasped as he felt a sharp pinch in his neck.  As his body fell limp, he could hear the man's last words before he passed out.
"Well that's too bad.  You'll learn to enjoy your time with us.  Kurogiri, take us and our new friend back to the base."

Peter Parker x Fem!Reader
*Please don’t plagiarize my work, thank you :3*
Summary: Spiderman may have feelings for the enemy... also who the fuck is Thanos?
Warnings: Cursing, school is stressful, guns, Kimberly won’t leave them alone. (guess who the tall figure is. guess. i dare you.)
Words: 1,879
Previous Chapter                                                          Next Chapter
You didn’t visit Stark Labs again to start the internship; you were a junior now, and the homework was pilling up. Peter, Ned and you spent so many hours studying that you didn’t remember just hanging out with them like normal teenagers. You spoke to them in your “homework voice”, a dreary drone, often hoarse from lack of sleep. It was only mid-year and you felt like giving up.
“If this goes on I’m going to quit and become a stripper.” You finished grimly as Spidey tinkered with his web shooters. You were laying on the edge of a building like it was a bench at the park, one leg dangling over the side. “My mum’s already disappointed enough- And that’s with straight A’s!”
“I get you.” He mumbled. “My school’s in advanced academics, yeah? An’ A.C.T.’s are coming up, so there’s college to think about… I’m not going to survive the year.”
You faced away from him, tapping the silver cuff on your wrist to display a holographic map of the Bronx and Queens. A little moving dot was blinking up at you, projecting a new address every time it crossed into another county. It was teasing you.
“You tracked the van?” Spiderman exclaimed. You slapped your hand over the cuff to cut off the projection, finally sensing him looking over your shoulder. Scratching the back of your head, you avoiding looking at him. Guilt. This was what guilt felt like. But getting caught is pretty bad too...
“No?”
“I can’t- You- I shouldn’t have given it to you.” Spidey said in one breath. “You said you’d put it on the storage container!”
“That’s useless.” You retorted, stepping closer. Admittedly, Spidey’s new suit was more intimidating, something you refused to show him. You didn’t step down. “Why the hell would we track something that sits at the dock and doesn’t move! I tapped some guy, no big deal-”
“You should’ve tracked the container and set up motion detectors, and not risked being shot.” He fired back. “Bad guys always come back to the scene of the crime! We could’ve caught them with more cargo!”
“Not a guarantee.”
“I’ve been doing this longer than you,” Spiderman said. “I know what I’m doing.”
“From what I’ve gathered, you’re a kid in highschool,” You said cooly. “Just. Like. Me. Anyway, I know where they are now and it’s useful, so… I win!”
Spiderman crossed his arms and furrowed his eyebrows, refusing to let you win. “Aww, c’mon Spandex,” You teased slyly, poking his arm repeatedly. “You know I’m right. Say it. Say I’m right.”
“Just don’t get shot.” He said stubbornly. “I’m not going to have my friend die.”
“Deal.” You said nonchalantly, although his words shocked you. His friend? I’m Spiderman’s friend? “They’re in Queens now. We can catch them while they’re driving.”
Spidey offered you his hand, implying that he would carry you there. “No. I’ll fly myself.”
“You sure?”
Looking down from the skyscraper, you winced. “Sort of... Catch me if I fall, will you?”
Your body dissolved into smoke as he swung off the rooftop, flying in front of him. On que, two black vans sped by, the exact same license plates from before. Your smoke turned sharply after them with Spidey trailing behind you. A few times you transformed back into human form while flying, but always changed back. It became fun to scare Spidey like that.
Your smoke hovered over the pavement and you dropped down as a human again. Spidey landed silently beside you, both of you inching towards the black vans. Like last time, men got out and began to unload oddly shaped objects. As you hid behind some crates, you noted that they were being very careful not to touch their cargo. Three figures got out of the front of a van, all of them arguing in hushed tones.
“Scan them!” You whispered to Spidey.
“I can’t,” He grit out, his suit’s eyes adjusting over and over again. He eventually groaned. “They’re too far away.”
You pressed your lips into a thin line. The three figures weren’t unloading anything, so they couldn’t be just workers. One was taller, the other two about the same height. 6’0 maybe? You thought. Then those two are like 5’7. A henchman carrying a particularly big object cursed loudly as it slipped from his hands. It randomly shot a beam of blue light at some boxes. They disintegrated in the blink of an eye. You inhaled sharply, the sudden rush of instinct taking giving you goosebumps.
“That’s n-not human.” You said shakily.
“It could be.” Spiderman sounded like he was trying to convince himself. His hands gripped the edge of a crate until it bent and cracked.
“...told you… Never drop it again!” You heard a female voice shriek, although you could only hear parts of what was said. The man who dropped the weapon shrunk back, even though he seemed taller than her. She has power over them.
A figure stepped out of the shadows as the mess was cleaned. You squinted in the dark, watching an impossibly tall person step out of a particularly dark patch as if they just materialized out of thin air. To your and Spidey’s surprise, the three people who seemed to have been in charge bowed before the newcomer.
“That isn’t human.” You repeated solemnly, your eyes boring into Spiderman. The tall figure was talking now, apparently, and the three humans were listening carefully. When Spidey didn’t move, you assumed smoke form and slowly slithered closer, gliding inches over the pavement. The night hid your navy smoke. Please don’t change back into a human now, You pleaded. Don’t let them see me.
Spiderman jolted when he realized you were no longer next to him, searching and finding you crouched behind one of the vans. His eyes widened and he cursed under his breath just as your ears perked up, listening to the four dark figures talk.
“We need the next paycheck, sir.” A deep male voice said. Respectful and hesitant.
“You shall get it when you need it,” You frowned at that voice. It was powerful. So forceful, in fact, that you felt the urge to cower. “For now, the Mad Titan Thanos demands his artillery is supplied for.”
“Yes sir.” The female voice said. “But the money-”
“Will be sent, I assure you.”
You stuck your head out just a bit from the side of the van, seeing the regal figure practically glide back into the shadows. That couldn’t be human. You felt waves of power flowing from that creature. Not metaphorically, no. Actual, physical shockwaves of dark magic. It could not be human. Lost in thought, you didn’t notice the three people begin to turn around. Before you could hide behind the van again the female flicked her hair, drawing your attention.
Long, sleek, straight black locks were barely hidden behind a dark grey hoodie. She wore semi-opaque glasses that reflected green under the moon’s glow. You darted behind the van, releasing a tiny squeak in the process. Tiny noise, huge mistake. Three guns all cocked at the same time and you could tell without looking that they were all pointed in your general direction, at the van. From where he was hiding, Spidey gasped softly. You heard footsteps coming closer to you. Smoke form was an option, but they would still see a billow of blue smoke fly by; they’d definitely know something was going on. Running wasn’t an option either. You counted down the seconds before they would find you and…
Spiderman threw a web grenade at one of the vans. All heads turned towards the small explosion. You sprinted towards the crates, knowing that within seconds all guns would once again be pointed at you. You were almost to Spidey, almost to safety-
When you looked over your shoulder, and met eyes with the female under the hood. Her hair, her stance and voice. And at the same time as you, her face twisted with disgusted recognition. Kimberly’s finger pressed down on the gun’s trigger, firing a single bullet at you. Lunging forward to avoid it, you went into smoke form, flying past the crates and Spiderman. Like last time, henchmen shouted and loaded their guns. Spidey narrowly escaped as a jet of blue light hit a barrel and exploded into dust. You urged the smoke to carry you faster, speeding through the night sky and not stopping until your adrenaline wore off.
You landed clumsily on a small skyscraper, panting because no matter how hard you tried, no oxygen entered you lungs. Kimberly’s burning rage was forced into your mind, and how she tried to kill you.
“Sunshine- Sunshine’re you alright?”
You whipped around to Spidey, shakily getting off your knees. “I know her.”
“What?” Spiderman asked. “Who? The woman who tried to shoot you?”
“Not a woman, she’s my age. Her name’s...Kimberly.” You said quietly, chest still rising and falling rapidly.
“K-Kimberly?” Spiderman stuttered.
“Her last name is Grant.” Your mind spewed the first random lie it could. “W-we volunteered together at the Natural History Museum last summer.”
“She’s not an adult?” Spidey cried. “Wha- How old are you then?”
“Eleventh grade.” You said flatly. “How do you know her anyway? Seems like you recognized the name.”
“I d-don’t,” Spiderman stuttered. “My friend goes to her school, he tells me everything. So you’re sure it was Kimberly?”
“Yes,” You said fiercely. The only thing stopping you from finding out Spiderman’s identity was his voice modifier. Same went for you. And at times like this, it’s a bit irritating. “I have great eyesight, thank you very much. Now what the hell do we do about the goddamn alien that they were supplying with weapons.”
Spiderman wrung his hands nervously, pacing back and forth. “I tell Mr. Stark and we leave it alone for now. Maybe keep tracking them, I don’t know. We can’t pull another sneak attack.”
You stuffed a lock of hair back under your mask and recalled the recognition on Kimberly’s face. How did she- Oh. You grimaced. Her glasses weren’t just prescription, obviously. They were pattern recognition scanners, for god’s sake. Damn it. Didn’t help that she saw some of my fucking hair.
“Let’s turn them in now,” You suggested. “I’ll capture Kimberly, beat her up and the other guys will try to get her back. She seemed to be some sorta boss to them.”
“No. That’s a terrible plan.” Spidey said, finally stopping his pacing. “We aren’t holding her hostage.”
“Then let me-”
“We aren’t hurting her.” Spidey snapped. You stepped back, eyeing him suspiciously. Spiderman told you bits of what happened the last time he got involved in a real crime. It didn’t seem like he chose to rely on authority then. For a second, you felt a pang of sadness in your chest, even though you didn’t know why. It was gone as soon as it came.
“Or anyone else.” Spiderman quickly added.
“Fine.” You lied again. A day ago was the first time you lied to Spidey, and now you couldn’t stop. It’s not a big deal, You told yourself. Not my fault we have different ways of dealing with crime.

In Cold Blood (Loki x Reader)
prompt: Reader is captured by Hydra, and has been in captivity for a very long time. Hope begins to dwindle as the time passes by, until their rescuers come to their aid.
a/n: I felt like improvising here. who doesn’t love a little angst, enjoy warnings: angst, blood
word count: 2,088
You awoke with a gasp, trying desperately to shoot up from the leather restraints binding you to the cold, hard steel table. Thin layers of sweat and dirt covered your tanned skin from the amount of time you had been missing. How long has it been? Thoughts and memories of your friends and family flashed before your eyes as you tried to remember how long you’d been here.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months until you finally lost any sense of time. Why me? What had I done that was so different than any other S.H.I.E.L.D agent? Oh yeah, that’s right. Hydra had captured you, didn’t they? That fact almost slipped your mind; almost. Your memory was dwindling as each day passed, and even then, you weren’t sure how long was a day.
Shattering glass and clattering tools resonated from behind the locked room you were being held in. You silently started reciting prayers that torture was not in your plans for today. The thick metal door clanged open, revealing a woman clad in nurse’s attire holding a beaten-up aluminum tray with some sort of instruments.
“Hello Mrs. (L/N),” she spoke up after clearing her throat, drawing you from your trance. “I’ll be performing some tests on you today per request of Dr. Zola.” The brunette nurse began setting up a table next to your table, and your mind started racing. Needles and tubes littered the tray, signaling that’d you’d be subject to giving a generous amount of blood today. As she began attaching the needle to the syringe, you immediately began trying to unfasten the bonds around your wrists.
“Hold still now,” she snapped as you wriggled around, attempting to escape her grasp. Pain shot through your abused arms as she stuck you again. Bruises littered your skin in just about any place that was visible. You watched as the blood travelled through the tube into the glass container, making you woozy. Your hands were clammy, making it a bit easier to slide your hand from the leather strap.
“W-what’s your name?” your throat ached from the dryness of it, reminding you of your thirst. The nurse eyed you warily before answering the simple question.
“Katarina,” she huffed while replacing the blood-filled tube with an empty one. “Now shut up. You’re distract-” You swung your freed arm at her, cutting her sentence off. Her body flew backwards at the impact, and she began tripping over her own feet, and she collapsed on the concrete flooring. Hurriedly, you unstrapped your other wrist and rubbed it slowly. Your nerves were shot from lack of sleep, and your frantic movements were not helping. Shaky hands flew to your ankle restraints, attempting to un-restrain your legs.
Buzzing alarms suddenly sounded throughout the building, making you look over at the woman on the ground. She had dragged herself to the wall, reached up, and pressed the red button. Your eyes started to water as you made the destined realization that you wouldn’t be getting out of here alive. The unnumbered days of your containment would eventually come to an end; right in this very facility. No more Avengers. Just as you hopped off the makeshift bed, the door flew open, revealing a team of HYDRA agents armed with semi-automatic weapons–all aimed at your weak figure. No more friends; no laughter and memories. Standing up so quickly made your head spin, but you had to try to get out, at any cost. No more Loki. Gripped within your hands was the syringes that had laid on the tray next to you table. No more life.
“Ch ch ch,” a clicking sound came from one of the men at the door. “How foolish of you?” Dr. Zola’s short shadow grew larger as he walked through the men trained to kill you. His face looked worn and tired, lines passed over his forehead and dark circles colored his eyes. “Did you really think you would escape that easily?” His thick German accent tainted his words which were dripping with malice. Zola stepped closer to you, hands clasped behind his back. “No one will come to save you.” Screaming, you raised the tray above your head, running at him to knock him on his ass, too. Just as you stepped towards him, a piercing pain shot through your shoulder.
“Sorry for the problem, doctor,” the nurse who had started this mess had injected you with some sort of sleeping drug. Your body collapsed to the floor, head hitting hard enough for you to see stars. She bowed before him before scurrying out of the room.
“Nighty night, (Y/N),” his evil voice cackled. “Take her to the chamber.” He turned to walk out, and the armed men closed in on you. Their words and voices began to slur as the drug coursed through your veins, taking you under.
Beeping sounds drew you from your induced slumber, making your heart race. Slowly, you opened your eyes, squinting when they were presented with a bright light.
“Sincee you want to act like a child, I will be the one performing experiments on you,” Dr. Zola announced from above you. It took a moment, but you eventually spotted him walking on the balcony surrounding the testing room you were imprisoned in. Clanking of metal rang through the lab as he stomped down the stairs. Finally, he stood next to you, snapping a pair of rubber gloves over his hands. You turned your head, feeling a surging pain radiate from your neck, causing you to wince. Your eyes found torture instruments lying on yet another aluminum tray.
“What the fuck is wrong with you?” You spat venom as you spoke, wishing he could feel all the suffering you did. Zola’s insane laughter filled the concrete chamber, as he picked up a scalpel.
“Everything darling,” he smiled before cutting into your exposed abdomen. Blood curdling screams ripped from your chest as he dug deeper into sacred skin. Relentless tears dripped from your eyes as he reached from another sharp, prodding tool.
“Just kill me!” You screamed in agony, feeling your throat clench from hoarseness. His laugh filled your ears again, making you want death more than anything. Just as he started to poke at you with the metal instrument, the doors flew open.
“They’re here,” the agent shouted breathlessly. “They’re here for the girl.” Yelling and crashing sounded from the hallway leading to where you currently resided, causing hope to shoot through your mind.
“The Avengers think they can save you,” he chortled, slamming the metal tools down. “How cute.” Loki was going to save you. You team was coming. Zola ripped you from your restraints, dragging you to your feet. He threw you in front of him, your hands slamming against the concrete harshly, the pain knocking the breath from you. The screams of HYDRA members subsided when gunshots came echoing down the halls. Natasha, kicking ass. How you were able to make a joke at this time amazed you, but you didn’t have enough functioning brain to think about it.
The doors flew open yet again, revealing your friends. Tony was clad in his suit with Natasha and Steve behind him, ready to fight. Loki stepped out from behind them, his emerald cloak flowing behind him.
“Let her go, Zola,” Steve snapped angrily from the doorway. His shield was held tightly in his hands as he stepped closer. A clicking noise snapped behind you, making you turn around slowly. The cocking of a gun, a noise you came to grow accustomed to.
“I wouldn’t come any closer if I were you.” It’s aim on you felt like a hundred eyes, waiting and watching. You suddenly felt very hot, and shivers ran down your spine as death was a few inches behind you, hovering and waiting to pounce on you in an instant.
“(Y/N),” Loki’s voice sounded like heaven after being surrounded by evil, German accents all day every day. “We’re going to get you out of this damned place.” His eyes darkened with rage as you watched him devise a plan in his head. His eyes shifted around the room, looking for any advantage, only to come up short.
“(Y/N) has been here four months, and you all just now come to ze girl’s rescue,” Zola paced around behind you, making your uneasiness skyrocket to unknown levels.
“We all know you aren’t getting out of this one,” Natasha growled, sighting her pistol in on the evil man. Tony walked closer, with his hands held out in defense.
“Can’t we negotiate here?” Tony’s entrepreneurship skills came through like a freight train, making you laugh. Zola obviously didn’t find this funny, and he lodged his foot between your ribs, making you wheeze and cough up blood.
“That’s enough,” he snapped. “This is over now.” The revolver exploded behind you, and everything started going in slow motion. Loki yelled out, lunging forward towards the evil, German doctor. Pain blossomed through your back as the bullet pierced through the half-exposed flesh.
“(Y/N)!” Steve shouted, rushing forward to your limp body. Clashing of metal rang out as Tony and Loki slammed Zola into the medicinal cabinets surrounding the room. Your ears started ringing and your eyesight began to blur slightly.
”Come on, (Y/N),” Natasha soothed next to you. “You’ve got to stay awake.” You nodded lethargically, feeling like you were moving through molasses. Loki came rushing to your side, a sickening squelching noise occurring. Slowly, your eyes found the culprit of the noise; your blood pooling around you.
“Oh (Y/N),” Loki sighed. “Please stay with me, love.” You tried moving towards him, only to feel lightheaded. “We’ve got to get her out of here.” Loki tried explaining desperately. The others looked on with sadness in their eyes as they, too, recognized your fate. You smiled sadly at him, reaching your hand up to caress his cheek.
“I’m sorry, Loki,” you started coughing again, blood gracing your lips as you spoke. “I don’t think we’ll be ditching this joint together tonight.” His eyes frantically searched your face for some sort of sign that you were joking. His cold hand rested against yours, rubbing small circles.
“Please don’t do this to me,” his blue eyes watering. “I can’t do this without you.” Your head began to pound harder now, letting you know that your unnumbered days, were soon going to be numbered. Natasha knelt at your side, placing her hand in yours. Her eyes, too, filled with tears as you laid in your own blood in the middle of a torture laboratory.
“Send my regards to Fury,” you coughed out. “And to the rest of the team.” Steve stood above you, watching, side by side with Tony as you spoke.
“We’re going to get you out of here,” Loki was pleading with you, trying to convince you. “I promise.” I smiled weakly at him.
“I thought we promised not to lie to each other,” you sputtered as black dots filled your vision once more, not leaving this time. You closed your eyes, feeling as light as a feather. Euphoria came to you, and it was a strange feeling after so many months of pain and suffering.
“Open your eyes, darling,” his hands brushed your hair from your paling face. But you couldn’t, a powerful force was keeping you from moving or doing anything. Death.
“I love you, Loki,” you gasped out as Natasha tightened her grip on your hand, letting you know that she was still there, and that you weren’t alone. “Thank you for showing me who you truly were. It has been an honor to know you as you; not who people said you were.” A smile graced your face as you felt yourself slowly drifting away.
You couldn’t understand what anyone was saying, but you heard the jumble of their words as they tried to speak to you, but it was too late. You had ascended to something greater than life, and there was no turning back. Memories flooded back to you like rushing water, sending a warmth through your soul. Images of you and Loki from your first date flashed by; snippets of you and the team on missions and hanging out after flourished by.
Euphoria was the only way to describe how you felt as you drifted further away, your mind going blank. No more Avengers. No more friends; no laughter and memories. No more Loki.
No more life.

Boys Will Be Boys w/@DelicateDeviant
Ryodan:
Sitting off on the sidelines as they took Whicked into the x-ray suite seemed to take forever. Too many things rattled around in my mind. One of which was how long it was going to take for me to get out of here and over to Caldwell First Bank. Not that I was rushing the process. I would stay as long as Whicked needed me. There was no way in hell I was going to leave her side, until she was good and ready. But, I was envisioning myself walking into that bank and pummeling that manager. The whole plan was forming as I sat there waiting. I would walk into the bank, ask for the manager, and when he came up to help me, I would ask him if he remembered Whicked. Then, as recognition lit in his eyes, I would introduce my fist to his face. He would be bloodied beyond recognition before I would stop. Sure, he would recover from the wounds, but he wouldn’t forget the beating anytime soon. Then, once I was able to talk Whicked into reporting him, he would have to face the races’ justice, as well. Justice will come around twice for this scumbag.
A grin washed over my features as I thought more about the details, just as Whicked was wheeled out of one room and into another. The nurse let me know that the MRI was complete and now they were just bringing her in to get a few x-rays. Once the x-rays were done, they would bring us back down to the private room to wait for the results.
Whicked:
I was wheeled from room to room to endure test after test,  needle after needle.  I no longer cared about the pain, the drugs they had given me had taken care of that.  The noise from the MRI hurt my already fragile head,  the sounds seeming to penetrate my very skull, so I tried to focus on something happier, times when I had been happier, but all that kept going through my head as I lay here in the dark, was his weight on me; his hands grabbing at me;  his foul breath huffing in my ear as he thrust away like a grunting pig.  Panic overwhelmed me and my breathing became erratic,  just in time for them to wheel me out, the nurse hovered over me and whispered kind words till my heart rate dropped to something more like normal before she wheeled me out and into x-ray.
At least the x-ray was less constricting and quiet.  The tech just did the job,  guiding my wrist gently into place so he could see where the breaks were,  a quick shot of my head to confirm the breaks in my cheekbones and nose,  as if the swelling wouldn't be a dead giveaway!  I couldn’t imagine how bad I looked but if it was as bad as I felt,  it would be pretty horrific, but once I got a chance to feed,  I would heal just fine and no-one would ever know what had happened to me except Ryodan, Havers and his staff but at least they were bound by some sort of oath not to break patient confidentiality, right?  They couldn't just call the police without checking with me first, I was sure of that.
As they wheeled me back into the room where Ryodan had been left waiting, I yawned,  the skin stretched so tight over my swollen broken face my mouth barely opened and the pain just registered through the pain meds.  Right now, I just wanted to go home and change out of this hospital gown,  put on my softest PJs and climb into bed and sleep.  Hopefully Dr. Havers would be able to give me the all clear once my x-rays came back.
Ryodan:
I jumped up as they wheeled Whicked in. It was as if the MRI and x-ray made her look ten times worse, but I knew it was just all the injuries settling in. I just hoped they hadn’t walked her past any mirrors. She would be horrified if she knew how bad she looked.
“Hey there, Half-Pint.” I offered with a small smile. “Shouldn’t be much longer now. The nurse said that they just need to have Havers take a look at the films and we should be good to go.”
The nurse led us down the long hallway, back to the room where Whicked had her initial exam. As we cornered in through the door, a ginormous male stood from one of the chairs inside. “Annalee.” He said, as he nodded to Whicked.
Instantly, I put my body between her and this male, a snarl exploding from my lips. I didn’t know who he was and didn’t care. Nor did I care that he probably had 100 pounds on me. My protective instincts were kicking in and I was ready to go however many rounds it would take with this male to let him know he wasn’t getting near, Whicked.
The guy just snickered. “Cute.” Looking around my body, he continued. “Annalee, we are transferring you to our medical suite. Havers is a great doctor, but ours are better. I’ve got your stuff all packed up. Let’s go.”
Staying between Whicked and this male, I let him move past me to the hall before turning back to Whicked.
Whicked:
I offered Ryodan a small smile as he greeted me before joining my escort back to the intake room we had been in before.  I looked up to my cousin and lifted my arm with the unbroken wrist to clasp his huge hand within my dainty cold one.  I needed his warmth, these hospital gowns only protected your modesty.
As we wheeled around the corner and into my room,  Ry led the way and suddenly his demeanor changed,  his stance went from relaxed to aggressive and a growl filled the room.  Oh my Scribe,  had Marcus found me here?  Was he here to silence me?   As the nurse pushed me into the room, I could see a huge Male stand up from where he had been sitting in the corner.  As he stood up he picked up a bag from the floor.  With only the slightly blurred eyesight of one eye I couldn’t quite make out who it was who was stood there until I heard his voice.  As I heard my birth name fall from his mouth, I relaxed.  Vishous?  I uttered a laugh,  I was dreaming! This was all a dream,  I had fallen asleep in the MRI or on my way back from x-ray. There was no way that Vishous would be here or that he would be moving me anywhere.  The King made it clear that he wanted nothing to do with me, so why would that change now?
I waved over to Ryodan and gestured him to come closer,  once he stood next to me I grasped his forearm and tugged him down to me and whispered. “That’s Vishous,  he doesn’t like me very much.  But that’s ok cos I don’t care!”  I let Ryodan go and swung my head toward the doorway in which Vishous stood.  “Lets go V-Man,  take me to your leader!” I giggled a little at that.  Damn these drugs were pretty good.  “This is just a dream anyways..but before we go,  could I get a coat or a sweater or something because I am freezing!”
Ryodan:
Another male came in with a wheelchair and once again I placed myself firmly between Whicked and this new male. “Hold on a minute. Who the fuck is Vishous and why are we going with him? Not to mention that he’s supposedly taking us to /his/ medical suite? Whicked, you’ve gone and lost your mind. There is no other medical suite for over 200 miles.”
All I could imagine was that this bank manager had found out that Whicked came to Havers and was going to make sure she didn’t talk. Was this guy connected to the mafia, or something? That would make these two thugs. Well… screw it. I’ve never been up against worse, but I’m sure I could hold my own.
I pushed the chair back at the second male and planted my feet in his way. “The only way you’re taking her is through me. Who’s first?”
Vishous just grinned.
Whicked:
I shuffled to the edge of the bed and eased myself off with the help of the Nurse as Ry and Vishous squared off against each other,  with Ry directly in front of me,  blocking my view of V and whoever just wheeled in a wheelchair.
I gave an impatient sigh,  surely in my dream Ryodan wouldn't be so inquisitive, but I put that down to my medication.  I hobbled over to Ryodan’s side and put a gentle hand on his shoulder.  “Vishous meet Ryodan, my cousin and tonight my guardian.  Ry,  meet Vishous, a member of the Black Dagger Brotherhood,  bodyguard to our King and all around asshole.  Vishous is mated to the lovely Doc Jane, she has a medical suite at the King’s compound somewhere in Caldwell, and if V wants me to go to the compound that’s fine with me,  but I just hope he realises my insurance wont cover the costs!”
I hobbled over past Vishous and into the waiting wheelchair,  the Male at the handles waiting to steer me out of here was none other than Blaylock, the charming red head who had looked after me after I had saved the King.  “Hey there Blaylock,  wanna get me outta here already before those two start trading blows?  I have had enough of violence for one night”.  My mind was so clouded by whatever painkillers Havers had given me, that this whole thing seemed so normal,  that of course the Brotherhood would come here and demand a civilian be taken to their top secret compound to be treated.  But when I woke up I would be curled up, nice and safe in my apartment with Alanna in the next room and Ryodan on the couch and all would be well and I could start putting this shitty nightmare behind me.
Ryodan:
Whicked’s hand registered on my shoulder, but I didn’t move. I barely flinched when she mentioned the Black Dagger Brotherhood, part of me being in shock. Surely she was joking. Either way, she obviously knew the two males that had just shown up. It wasn’t until she explained the medical suite at the King’s compound that it all sunk in. Black? Dagger? Brotherhood? When and how did Whicked meet the Brotherhood? And, why were they so interested in her that they wanted her treated at the King’s compound?
I shoved past Vishous, giving him a good knock with my shoulder as I passed, and ran to stop the wheel chair. I could hear a deep rumble of a growl from behind me and knew it was Vishous, but didn’t care.
Each hand on either side of the wheelchair, I stopped Whicked and the other male pushing her. Standing up, I crossed my arms in front of my chest. “She’s in no state to be making decisions for herself. If you’re taking her, I’m going with.”
Vishous, who having had a chance to turn around and catch up with us, walked up to me and got right in my face. Without turning to look at her, he just responded with an, “Annalee?”
Whicked:
Why was Ryodan being so possessive of me,  it wasn’t like V or Blaylock was going to harm me,  I was probably safer with them than I would be anywhere else.    I looked up in time to watch Ryodan stop the wheelchair I was being wheeled around in before once more standing off against the two Males.  Questioning my decision making skills.  “Ry, it's fine, I want to go with them,  I will be safe with them.  They won’t hurt me, I know they won’t”.
My body slumped in my chair,  a wave of exhaustion washed over me and I felt a slight flicker of pain from my face as I turned to watch what was going on.  Maybe this wasn’t really a dream after all…?
I groaned inwardly as Vishous called me Annalee again,  I swear if if I had the strength to do it I would give him a swift kick in the balls, or at least I would try to but his reflexes have to be pretty sharp I doubt my foot would get anywhere near his junk.  “Yes Vishous?” I answered sweetly ignoring the urge to get out of my chair*
Ryodan:
Whicked’s response didn’t settle my nerves. She was so hopped up on all the drugs that Havers had been feeding her, I was beginning to wonder if she even knew where she was. Taking a cue from Vishous, I responded to her, without taking my eyes off him, not backing down. “Do you have any idea how many drugs you have running through your system, right now?”
Vishous replied to Whicked before she had a chance to respond to me, still. “Your defender, over here, says he isn’t letting you go without him. That’s your call, not his.”
“Are you fucking kidding me?!” I reached up to shove him and my face was on the floor before I even had a chance to realize it. I was shocked at how fast he had reacted, but even more so at how pinned my body was. My fingers and toes were about the only things on my body that could remotely move. This fucker was quickly turning into one of my least favorite people.
Whicked:
*I rolled my eyes at the macho show of aggression being laid down before me.  With a groan I gingerly pulled myself up and onto my feet,  ignoring the fussing of Blaylock behind me as he tried to usher me back into the chair.  I inched closer to where Ryodan was currently lying, buried beneath the huge pissed off Male that is Vishous.*
“Seriously?  For fuck sake quit it!  Vishous get the hell off of my cousin, where I go, he goes.  Understood!” *next I turned my anger to Ryodan without even blinking* “Ry,  quit acting like you are my Father,  I know these Males and yes, I realise that I am under the influence of whatever cocktail that Havers has given me but you don’t know the full story because until tonight, I haven't seen you in years!  Now,  don’t get me wrong, I totally appreciate that the Scribe sent you to me tonight of all nights but if you could just dial down the possessive Male shit, I would really appreciate it!”
*As I finished my little rant,  the colour drained completely from my face and I stumbled backwards, my legs turning to jelly under me and threatening to spill me over, luckily Blaylock was there in an instant with the chair and settled it under me just before I collapsed.   I took a few deep breaths trying to clear the little black dots from my vision which caused a sliver of pain to slice through my head*  “Blay,  can we just get out of here and leave these two asshats to their smackdown?”
Blaylock chuckled and gave a Yes Ma’am before he turned the wheelchair back out into the corridor and we began to make our way down to the underground garage where I was sure the SUV that had taken me to the compound before was now parked,  ready to take me back there once more,  only this time I would be the patient.*
Ryodan:
Like her father?! Not seen me in years? She hadn’t seen me in years because her family had written me off, just like everyone else in my family, due to me being a bastard and half-human. It was amazing how quickly you find out who your true family and friends are when shit gets real. If that was the way she really felt, I had half a mind to just turn around and go home, once this asshat got off of me. But, I was too concerned for Whicked to just leave her alone with these two males. Obviously, she knew them, but they weren’t family, and they weren’t close to her, either. They were more acquaintances, then anything. Otherwise, the one wouldn’t be calling her by her real name. Even I knew better than to call her Annalee.
As the second male that Whicked referred to as Blaylock wheeled her down the hall, Vishous thrust one last shove into the back of my chest, even though I didn’t think he could’ve put any more pressure on me. “You and me, we ain’t done. Feel me?” He snarled in my ear as he backed off my body. Then he left me to pick myself up off the ground, which at that point was like picking jelly off the floor with a fork.
After a few minutes, I caught up to them at the door to the garage. Blaylock was helping Whicked into the black Escalade. I stepped around to the other side and let myself in beside her.
As we drove the winding back roads through Caldwell, my view of the back of Vishous’ head wasn’t doing much for my mood. It was all I could do from keeping the bastard in me from reaching around the back of that chair and putting him in a chokehold. However my ego had already taken enough of a hit today. So, instead I turned my gaze out the window and speculated on where these two goons were taking us and just how was it that Whicked knew the Black Dagger Brotherhood. #BoysWillBeBoys #EternallyBoundRP

As expected, it was a shed. Allyou heard inside the Police Department was indeedhappening: seaport, hangar, cargo truck – and in your point of view, it was adisaster. You and your partner were both waiting for something to happen;someone to appear, a bomb to explode or actually any movement, anywhere around.
“They’re coming.” An impatientand nervous voice echoed; you sighed.
“They’re not, because they are not stupid.” You shrugged. “We are.”
The man by your side gazed youand closed his eyes in annoyance. His body was tense; he kept shaking his legsand tapping his fingers onto the steering wheel. You wondered how he became adetective if he could not control his own emotions.
He looked at you; an expressionyou weren’t able to understand. “In whose side are you, anyway?”
You snorted. “I have no sides, mate.” Your fingers englobed the car’s door knob and you opened it withouthesitating. “If you are the kind of cop who just sit and wait, then you shouldbuy some donuts. I am in.”
He scoffed. “You are not a captain, princess.”
You smirked. “Does it stop mefrom taking the right move?”
The other officer only watched, with disbelief, while you slowly reached the enormous gate of the storagebuilding. You seemed small and fragile and he even thought of following you,but the man knew – very deep inside his mind – that you were too much brave tobe scared so easily. You touched the metal and with all strength you had youpushed it, making the door open.
It was dark and you felt likediving into a black hole; as soon as you entered the shed, the gate closedbehind you, somehow being locked. There was no one else but you close to the metaldoor, even so it shut. Your heart started pounding faster and faster and youknew this was the drop of fear growing inside you. They managed to take you offof your comfort zone, how clever. Thedark, the excruciating ambient, the smell of dust and saltwater fish made yousweat and nauseous. They’re smarter then you thought.
However, you expected all of it.All Police Departments of the district moved their forces to capture these thieves, and you knew it wasn’t just thieves. They’re all criminals, intelligent and well-instructedcriminals. You noticed, when you first held the portfolio with the robberyinformation, that these people were the modern Robbin Hood; the profile wasbasic, easy to discern from any other small bandit and even a young cop likeyou could understand perfectly their intentions. The mystery, though, was the patternof their actions. Their acts seemed random and avulse, involving magic tricksand distractions in public spaces, not even forming any sort of line orunderstanding. It was totally irregular from one presentation to another and,in the end the only match between those spectacles was the Grand Finale.
So it was obvious they’d not movewithout contemplating all options. They were astute, you knew. They’d always be one step ahead, you admitted. And you already expected all of it.
Your thoughts were cut off with alight passing through your vision, causing your eyes to excessively blink. Ittook seconds for you to recover from the blur that arise on your eyesight, andlittle less time to feel the emptiness on your hand.
“What the hec–”
“Are you looking for these,Detective?” You turned your body to find the speaker, but they’re nowhere to beseen. “Over here.” Instinctively you followed the sound of the voice and founda boy sitting on top of the rail, upstairs. You narrowed your eyes; he washolding your gun and your flashlight –but it was almost impossible, considering the distance between you two and thetime he’d take to climb up the stairs.
You grinned. “The light.” Youtouched the back of your neck and laughed; you did not see, as you were toofocused on your thoughts, but the boy smiled back at you.
“You are intelligent, Detective.”He said and opened his arms. “All about distracting you with lights.” Thepastel pink haired boy threw himself of from where he was, but he did not fall.Actually he appeared ten feet away from you. “Here.” He handed you the gun. “I’llkeep the light, because it’s” he turned his body in 360 degrees and then facedyou again “dark.”
You had your mouth open. “Unbelievable.”
“Hum, actually it’s pure illusion.” Heshrugged his shoulders. “But I guess you already knew that.” The boy smiled.
Lazily you came back to yoursenses and raised the gun directly to his face. “I’d say you are not as good asyour friends.”
He laughed; the sound completelyvelvety and addicting. “I’ll count!” He threw the lantern up. “One,” the boysmiled at you “two,” he looked up to see the object coming to his direction “andthree!” He ran to you and you panicked; the feeling of losing control leadingyou to shoot. But the bullet didn’t reach him.
You smirked when you saw theflashlight perfectly positioned on the ground, with all the pieces in the rightplace, and in the tip of your gun a small flag written ‘got ya!’ It wasannoying, because you underestimate that boy’s talent of entertainment.
“Surprise.” He whispered behindyou. “Now, another one for you, Detective.”  The boy hugged you from behind; in vain youtried to escape, like all you’ve learned for combat was useless in that situation. He lifted you up and spun your bodies; you felt dizzy, your sensibilitydispersing within the cold air that gently touched your skin. You closed youreyes, trying to control yourself from disgorging.
“Stop!” You yelled; your eyesstill closed.
At that point you didn’t feelanything else but anxiousness. You wondered what would come next; would he justkill you? Would he just disappear? The sentiment of defeat was crystal clear, you rendered yourself in the momentyou entered the hangar.
“Fuck.” You finally had thecourage to look around again. Strangely, the space was filled with light andyou could easily see every corner of it. You saw two or three motorboat, fishing equipment and some sailcloth. You were completely insane, that’s it. No possible reason could explain what justhappened to you if not you being completelyout of your mind. As a plus, the boy just vanished, which meant you wereimagining it all. He was never there; were you somehow dopey?
You crossed your arms, and onlythen you realized you had more clothes on than before. A green aviator jacketsurrounded your torso and your arms; it smelled like cinnamon and was oddlycomfortable. Also, you noticed that the wind stopped blowing and there were nomore cool breeze hitting your cheeks.
“Are you startled, detective?” Thevoice inundated your ears.
You sighed. “This is gettingexhausting.” You took off the jacket and threw it on the ground.
“Hey!” Suddenly the pink hairedboy appeared; his voice tone was grave, but his expression was soft. “This isexpensive.”
“I bet you stole.” You scoff, almost whispering the comment.
He laughed. “Not all we do isstealing, Detective.”
“Ah, I bet.”
The boy tilted his head. “We makemagic too.” He smiled. “Keep your eyes on me.” He clapped his hands and you,all of sudden, couldn’t move.
It was not because you wanted to stay where you were, but onspur of moment the sound of his palms clashing with one another made youfreeze. You felt hypnotized and peculiarly relaxed; your mind went blank andall you could see was the boy in front of you. He was the only thing for you inthat exact moment – and, oh, how you felt disturbed.
He blinked. “You’re tired.” Hisvoice was melodic. “You’re really, really tired.” And your body seemed to beheavier. “You’re going to sleep now.” His hands touched your eyelids and hekindly closed your eyes.
“Your name. I want you name.” Youmanaged to say; he laughed, amused. But before the boy could answer you, everything went silent and you simply fell asleep.
A loud sound woke you up. It wasa strong and constant knock on the colossal metal door; you didn’t stand up,though. All you felt was fatigue and the last thing you wanted was listening toyour partner’s complaints, because clearly it was him knocking.
You stared at the ceiling, wondering how youlet things get to the point they were. That was the moment when you noticed ared balloon floating in the air; then another one appeared – this time it’s ayellow one – and at sudden lots and lots of colored balloons emerged, moreoveryou could not tell where those things came from.
You abruptly jumped and stood upon your feet; looking around you saw it wasn’t a shed anymore. The space was filled with tiny plastic balls, simulating a huge ball pool. You slapped your forehead, as an act of rebuke.Thereupon, in your palm you sensed the texture of a paper; you had a post-it stuck on your face.
Soo, you took if off of your headand admired the note with a clumsy handwriting. Instead of feeling angry youwere relieved. You ran your eyes overthe paper, trying to connect every letter and form phrases. In the end you read
If you’re awake, someone knocked. Sorry, Detective, you’re beautifulbut I have to follow some rules.
When someone tells you to ‘keep your eyes on them’don’t listen. And by the way, my name will be ourlittle secret. Won’t it, gorgeous?
It wasn’t obvious, but also wasn’ttoo much hidden. For you it was easy to decipher, and then you pondered if thatthe boy could be that reckless. He gave you his name and it was all you neededto progress with the investigation, but you knew – and also did him – that it’d bekept as a secret. He wasn’t careless; he knew how to play games. And it’s yourtime to move.
You laughed. “Lee Taeyong, huh?”

“Alex, no!” “Alex, YES!”
Beta love to @reinakonanofate for making this readable.
And, we gotta love Lucy :D
Read on AO3
“Come help us deal with your stupid sister.”
Alex’s girlfriend hangs up on you before you can even say “hi” and you sigh.
“Sorry, Lee,” you say to your companion of the night. “I’m needed elsewhere.”
Lena nods and she signals for the check to arrive. “Super problems?” She asks low, too low to be heard by other than you.
You groan. “More like sister problems.”
The way your almost girlfriend's eyes widen at that warms your heart. “Is she alright? Was she hurt?”
You smile. “No. I don’t think so at least… they were going to try a new prototype tonight and I think Alex is poking her nose around… that was Luce. She is pissed.”
Lena’s brows furrow. “… Wait a moment… Alex is trying a new prototype and she didn’t tell me?!”
The indignation in her voice is cute, but it would be cuter if Lena and Alex weren’t such a volatile duo with explicit orders to never be on their own within the DEO. The order was given by both Directors, Lane and J’onzz, and you think wiser order hadn’t ever been given.
Lena and Alex, together, alone… not a good combo, no sir.
“More like Vasquez and Lucy are trying a new prototype and Alex got word about it at last minute.”
The vibrant excitement in your date sits ill with you. “Oh! What are they testing?”
“I don’t know.” And if I knew, I wouldn’t tell you, you think. You really don’t need Lena getting the idea she can come al-
“I’m coming with you,” Lena declares as she passes her card to the waiter.
“No.”
The raised eyebrow sent your way looks eerily like Alex’s. “I’m not asking you. I’m informing you.”
You stand up then. “I’m leaving now. I’m not taking you.” You turn and head to the door, not looking back.
You can almost hear the shrug on her voice, still low but so easily heard by you. “By all means, go. I’ll drive there on my own and you won’t be invited to the gala. Neither of your alter egos will be.”
That stops you short, just a foot from exiting the restaurant. L-Corp is housing a gala to raise donations towards several orphanages and this year promises to be amazing. Not only did Lena invite several of the major players in the philanthropy scene, she also invited all the kids the donations are going to help. The event is planned not so much like a gala, but a fair for kids and adults alike and the goal is to bring the money in while having fun.
Kara Danvers needs to be there to report on it, Snapper made sure to tell you that just today and Supergirl was promised her weight in potstickers and wants to play with all the children.
“This is so not fair,” you inform Lena as she comes stand next to you once the bill is settled.
“All is fair in love and science.”
“Don’t you mean all is fair in love and war?”
You have reached an alley and you super-speed into your uniform. Lena comes close to you and lets herself be picked up bridal style.
“Oh, no… Didn’t you hear I only make love and never war?” The purring words in your ear makes your face boil in embarrassment and not a little desire.
Rao, with any luck you will stop resembling a tomato by the time you arrive at the Desert Base.
XxXxX
“Alex!”
Hearing your sister’s name being yelled with such anger and exasperation shouldn’t be such a surprise. Lucy called you beyond mad, after all.
You and Lena enter the hangar and you can see Lucy in the middle of the open space, staring upwards and with her hands on her hips. She’s so tiny and yet she can fill up the space with that commanding air that makes you want to obey no matter what and you wonder how is it that Alex can date her.
Sure, your sister has so much fun most of the time pushing her buttons, but you’d get scared with a partner like Lucy. Once you raised your concerns to Lena about how Alex loves making Lucy angry and your friend got so flustered and you were left so confused.
Lucy gets really upset and Alex loves it… but well, the bruises you have seen on Alex’s wrists and back bothers you and it’s just because both Alex and Lena have told you on numerous occasions that they mean nothing bad that you haven’t acted against Lucy.
Also, you like Lucy. And you like that Lucy has mellowed Alex’s most reckless tendencies. She no longer charges on into battle without regard for her own safety, she no longer drinks herself to the point her liver and kidneys are gross (yes, you have checked with your x-ray vision) and she is no longer sad all the time.
Lucy is good for your sister… even if you don’t understand how Lucy interacts with her.
“I’m almost there! I need ten more minutes!” You can’t see where Alex is, yet, but she sounds like she’s having a little too much fun.
“If you do don’t come down right now, you will be tied up for the whole weekend!”
You frown at that and when you turn to Lena to help you understand, you can’t find her.
You sigh. Of course, she is gone who knows where now that you are here.
“Hey, Luce!” you call to your friend. “What’s the emergency?”
Lucy turns and the scowl on her face lessens a little. “Your dumbass sister,” she informs you plainly. She points up and you follow her finger.
The hangar’s ceiling is high, really high. This is the hangar you use to train flying maneuvers and the one where J’onn and you have aerial fights. It’s also the one where agents learn to use the diverse flying machines the DEO have at its disposal, such as small rockets, gliders, and small aircraft. You don’t know how they managed to build such a high and resistant thing, but you at least now know why Lucy is so pissed.
Alex is sitting in the catwalk that runs across the hangar with her legs dangling down, a catwalk so high that it almost touches the ceiling and you know from experience that you need to walk hunched to not hit your head. She is in what you think is her issued underwear, a tank top and boy briefs, her legs are kicking the air happily and she is… tinkering with something that has… wings?
“She’s been up there for two hours now. She refuses to come down.”
You are still looking up. And… damn it, even with your eyesight you can’t really say what your sister is really doing. She has a toolkit besides her and she has a smudge of oil on her cheek and a smile so big on her face that you don’t want to know but you have to ask.
“What is she doing?”
“Our prototype had some serious issues… she’s fixing it, she says, but she won’t come down to let the rest of us see what the hell she’s doing.”
Oh. Understanding downs to you. “She wants to be the one testing it.”
“… yes.”
You look then at Lucy, frowning. “And why aren’t you up there with her?” You don’t think it would be a problem to drag her down.
“She locked herself up there,” Vasquez comes behind you. They are holding a tablet and the frown on their face concerns you a little. “She also bit Agent Kelly before doing so.”
You blink at Vasquez. “She bit Michael? She likes Michael!”
Vasquez shrugs. “She likes the prototype better?”
“And J’onn? Haven’t you call J’onn?”
Lucy massages her temples and Vasquez shakes their head. “He’s our last resort.”
Oh. “He threatened you.” It’s not a question but it would be nice to have it confirmed.
Lucy nods.
“He said if she lets her do something  this stupid again, he will suspend her for a week,” Vasquez informs you.
You frown. “But… it’s not your fault Alex is… well, Alex.”
“Space Dad swears she started acting up when I joined the DEO,” Lucy mutters. “That’s bullshit, though.”
“Well…” you drawl. “He’s not wrong. She was the perfect agent before she started dating you.”
Lucy’s glare on you, makes you flinch and you fly to Alex in part to escape Lucy and in part to bring Alex down.
“Hey, sis!” Alex chirps the moment you are floating by her side.
“Alex…” you wave her, grabbing a wrench that threatens to fall off the catwalk and kill someone below. “So… how about we if go down for a little bit?”
“Nope,” she says happily. “I’m almost done.”
“Alex… Lucy is gonna be suspended if you don’t come down.”
That makes her pause and look up from whatever she is oiling. “What?”
“J’onn said she would be suspended if you pull a crazy stunt again.”
She blinks once, twice, before looking down to what you think looks like a mechanical skull. “Weren’t you on a date with Lena?” she asks you.
The topic change makes your head swirl. “Uh?”
“Weren’t you with Lee?”
“… Yes?”
She looks up again and turns her head left and then right. Her face brightens and you don’t need to look to know what has her so happy. “Lee!”
“Al!” Lena’s cheerful voice ricochets around your brain, making you wince. You love Lena, you love Alex, but the level of silliness and stupidity they reach when together makes you have honest to Rao migraines.
Lena comes to sit next to your sister and you see she has changed clothes. She is no longer wearing her red power-suit, but one of… yes, you can see the tag on her chest, one of Alex’s day-to-day uniforms. “What do I do?” She asks, eagerly.
Alex points to the backpack-like chunk of metal to the side. “I can’t make it ignite without it bursting into flames.”
“Alex!” You scold her because she knows, she knows, she can’t play with fire.
Your sister rolls her eyes. “Lena is here,” she tells you dismissively. “She’ll fix it.”
Lena nods once, sharply. “No problem.”
You groan. “C’mon, Alex! Lena! You need to come down, you can’t try this if it can explode!”
“Relax, we know what we are doing,” Alex says, twisting something in her hands and crying happily in success. “Yes! This will fly now!”
You shake your head. “Guys, please.”
“Don’t you have a tiny Director to calm down?” Lena asks you and you groan again.
You can try getting physical with them. You can try grabbing them and forcing them down… but these two are so in sync and they think so alike they will escape you one way or another.
They have done it before.
If you go for Alex, Lena in all her graceful glory will jump down, forcing you to catch her and letting Alex escape with their toy. If you go for Lena, Alex will still have the time to escape with their toy.
If you try going for both they will make it so that none of you three make it down unharmed and… Alex will still escape with their toy.
The only way you can really win this is talking about their sense of responsibility and adulting… not that either act like adults when they are together.
“… What will it cost me to have you both down and complaint?”
Lena and Alex look from their respective tasks and look at each other. Lena raises an eyebrow and Alex’s lip twitches. Lena dips her head to you and Alex’s shakes a little. Lena’s eyes widen and Alex’s brow furrow. Alex’s nose wrinkles and Lena smirks.
As one, they turn to you.
“We are not going down,” they announce solemnly.
“Oh! Come on!”
“Bye, Kara.” With that, Alex pushes the tool kit out the catwalk and to your horror, it splits open as it starts going down.
“You, asshole!” You yell at her as you use your speed to catch every single tool and nail and screw and tidbit before they reach the ground and really kill someone.
The worst thing is, no matter how fast you do it, by the time you go back to them they would be finished with their tasks and they would still not come down.
“Nice catch, Supergirl,” Vasquez says with a smirk.
“I hate them both.”
Lucy sighs. “That makes three of us.”
Vasquez laughs. “I don’t hate them. I find them hilarious.”
Lucy’s murderous eyes are turned to her second-in-command before focusing on the crazy duo above. “Get ready to phone J’onn.”
You gasp. “You will be suspended!”
“I don’t care. I’ll make sure he suspends Alex too and I’ll make her pay for this.”
Your stomach clenches in worry at her words. “You won’t hurt her, will you?”
You are no stranger to Lucy’s moods and you have seen her hit the punching bag heavily when she is too angry. You have seen her lay it on the shooting range when she is frustrated and you have seen her scream and yell until she is blue in the face when things don’t go her way…
… And you have seen her manhandle Alex in several occasions, not that they know you have seen them.
You haven’t acted nor will you act because Alex, Lena, and even J’onn have told you Alex is in no danger repeatedly and emphatically.
You still worry, though.
And apparently, Lucy can hear that worry in your voice because her eyes shift from Alex and Lena and settle on you. They are warm and open and so understanding that you know why Alex is dating this madwoman. “Kara, I promise I won’t harm her.”
You nod and you are about to tell her how grateful you are your sister found in their relationship such comfort that she started being so bratty when Lee’s overjoyed squeal reaches your ears.
“Kara!”
You look up just in time to see Lena jumping down from the catwalk… if you didn’t know that Lena actually enjoys jumping off buildings, you would be so freaked out. But, right now, you were kind of expecting her to do this.
You meet her halfway on her descend, letting her enjoy the free fall for a couple of seconds. “One of these days I won’t catch you,” you growl at her with no real heat as you lower her easily to the ground. Her arms are around your neck and she is looking up with a big smile.
“No biggie,” she says with a shrug, letting go. “Alex will catch me.”
Once your feet touch down, you look up too.
Alex is holding the ends of what you see are mechanical wings and the reason that she is in her underwear is now evident: her arms and legs are encased in soft leather with more metal feathers and over her head, she is wearing that strange skull you saw before. The wings are designed so the movements of her arms make the metal wings move, almost as if she was a little kid playing being a bird… even her feet are in what looks like clawed shoes.
“Don’t you dare jump!” Lucy calls her.
“It’s gonna work!” Alex yells back.
“If you jump; your ass is mine!”
“My ass is already yours, dimwit!”
“You know what I fucking mean!”
“I can’t hear you!”
“Alex, NO!”
You can almost hear your sister think the “Alex, YES!” as she leaps.
Lena is jumping in joy besides you and you start hovering in preparation to catch your stupid sister.
But, just a second after jumping, Alex’s pushes a button on each hand and the machine comes to life.
It’s clumsy, it’s noisy and it’s so stiff, but your sister starts flapping and she manages to hold on the air for a really long second. Her tongue is poking out between her lips and you see her brow wrinkled in concentration. There is no air within the hangar, but after flapping hard, she somehow manages to find a way to glide down a little and it is then when her fun starts.
“See?!” She yells as she starts gliding in wide circles. “I’m flying!”
“No, you’re not!” Lucy yells. “You’re simply putting off your death!”
“This won’t kill me!”
“But I will! Come down here!”
You shake your head and hover up to fly alongside Alex. “She is spitting mad,” you tell her quietly.
Alex is finally close enough to the ground that she can easily see Lucy’s red, annoyed, face. Your sister winces and you refuse to feel any empathy towards her. “Fuck… I thought she was bluffing. She’s really pissed.”
You stare at her, shocked. “She called me in, Alex. She passed pissed an hour ago.”
Alex turns watery eyes to you and the pout on her face shouldn’t be that pitiful. “No, nuh-uh. Nope. Don’t look at me like that. You made her mad, you face her.”
“Kara…” she whines.
“Damn it, Alex, she is your girlfriend! You shouldn’t like making her mad!”
Alex’s pout is replaced by a smug smirk. “I like her mad.”
“Alex!”
Her smirk softens at your exasperation. “Really Kar, she doesn’t get mad-mad… Rao, I hate making her mad-mad… but, like… I enjoy pushing her and she enjoys it too.” She fumbles a bit with her wings, making a wide turn so you can keep gliding easily. “She likes it when I don’t listen… I mean, she could override my commands at any time and she could really force me to come down with one word… but she let me do this… so.” She almost shrugs before remembering that could possibly be a bad choice when she is using wings so high from the ground.
You frown, confused. “Then why she would call me?”
“She is a drama queen.”
You snort. “So, you are indeed made for each other.”
“Hey! I’m not a drama queen!”
“No, you are just dramatic.”
The lazy circles around the hangar bring you closer and closer to the ground and closer and closer to a tiny angry Director.
Alex is all smiles when her feet touch the ground and she makes a stupid flourish to Lena’s clapping, bowing reverently to an imaginary crowd. Her bowing is interrupted, though, when a loud smack is heard and Alex jumps a foot forward mid reverence.
“Damn it, Alex!” Lucy snarls. “That was stupid and reckless!”
Alex turns to face her girlfriend, a pout back in her face. She is rubbing her left butt cheek where Lucy just slapped her. “I didn’t die…”
“But you will wish you did the moment I’m done with you.” Lucy grabs Alex’s forearm and she starts marching her to the exit.
“But the prototype worked!”
“You weren’t authorized to use it or even fix it!”
“But-”
They are no longer within sight, but you can almost see how Lucy spanks Alex again. You can hear it clearly and you know that Alex’s complains will be shut down now.
“So…” Vasquez says. “I don’t call Director J’onzz?”
You shake your head. “I don’t think so, no. Let Lucy deal with her.”
Lena snorts. “She won’t be able to sit for a week.”
“Try a month,” Vasquez mutters
Lena nods with a grin on her face.
You look at them and sigh. You don’t get it. You don’t.
But, you also don’t want to get it.
So, you don’t ask.
“Alex!”
You sigh and turn to Lena. “Want to get out of here?” You ask her, pleading her with your eyes. You don’t want to be around for Alex’s next round of stupid.
Lena smiles. “Sure.” She wraps her arms around your neck again and lets you take her weight. “Take me home, Supergirl.”
“Alexandra!”
Alex’s delighted laughter is the last thing you hear before you flee with Lena in your arms.
And you smile. Maybe Alex changed after started dating Lucy, but she changed for good.
She is happier, more relaxed and overall at ease.
Yeah, it’s good she is dating Lucy.
Even if you don’t get how their relationship really works.

World Crushing Wrestling - Part 1
The crowd knew what was coming next as they eagerly waited for the announcer, who was standing in the middle of a four sided ring, to speak. The tension was slowly building within the air as people clapped and chattered in excitement. The announcer looked at he stands around the ring; he knew that thousands within the arena, and millions more watching at home, were waiting for him the announce the main event. But he could not say anything until he had the go ahead. Sweat slowly made its way down his cheeks as the spotlights bathed the ring with a hot glow. Suddenly, even through the sounds of the crowd, a voice within his earpiece rang out. "Joe. Main Event is a go," the rugged voice blurted out. That's all that Joe needed to hear. He raised his microphone towards his mouth just as the lights near the edge of the arena quickly dimmed. The crowd, knowing exactly what was going to happen, let out a roar of cheers. "The following is a Sanctioned Off-World Match scheduled for one fall!" "One fall!" the crowd bellowed back. "And it is for the G.F.W. Woman's Interplanetary Championship!" The crowd, which seemed unified at first, began to slowly split apart. Sects of people began to cheer as others booed in preparation for the combatants. The announcer, as well as the majority of the fans in attendance, looked towards the ramp, which led towards an array of screens. They displayed the letters G F W within an orange background. Suddenly, the screens turned into an array of colors as loud, electronic music was pumped into the arena. The crowd exploded into cheers as a young woman walked from out of an entrance near the screens and onto the ramp. She raised her arms into the air as she got to the top of the ramp, which prompted the fans to cheer even louder. Her golden blonde hair waved in the air as she skipped towards the ring as her bare feet slammed onto the glass ramp which also displayed the multitude of colors that were in the massive screens near the entrance way. Her blue and white trunks exposed all of her legs and her matching sports bra did little to cover her midriff. Her large breast seem to fight against her wardrobe as they were barely contained within the fabric. As she made her up the steel steps near the corner of the ring, the commentators, who sat just a few feet away from the squared circle behind a table, began to address the fans at home. "Welcome to the main event of the Galactic Wrestling Federation's Wrestling Empire 580. The biggest show of the year and in the Galaxy!" "Right you are Ken! After a brutal bout that crowned Bork Lazer as the new GWF Universal Heavyweight Champion, we're finally here at the main attraction. The match that everyone has been talking about." "Yes, Vic, this match could go do in history as one of the most important matches in Starlight's career. The 'barefoot beauty', as she's known within the galaxies and star clusters across the universe, must be feeling a bit light headed." "Of course she is, but she's also focused on what she needs to do. Which isn't an easy feat; she's going against the first person she's ever face in the GWF, back when she was a rookie." Ken suddenly stopped as the remaining lights that shined down upon the ring quickly dimmed. The titantrons near the top of the ramp faded into black as a soft piano piece played throughout the area. The crowd instantly awoke into a mixed roar of cheers and boos. "Oh my... here she comes! The longest reigning GWF Woman's Interplanetary Champion, at an astonishing 1567 days!" Vic mentioned as the piano quickly ascended into a powerful crescendo. The crowd, as if they felt the power of the music, cheered and booed louder then before. The final keys were struck as the titantron was suddenly filled with blue glittering graphics. A thunderous guitar riff echoed throughout the area as the audience exploded into a chaotic reaction. Coming from behind the screens was a young woman who was illuminated by a single spotlight. The elegant navy blue robe that she wore glittered in the light as she slowly twirled around. The audience booed loudly as she seemed to taunt them. A sly smile crept into her face as she looked at those sitting near the ramp. Faint cheers could be heard but the *heat* she was getting from the crowd slowly drowned them out. Her orange cat-like ears twitched as she continued her stride towards the ring. Her matching hair flowed majestically down to her back as she raised her hands triumphantly. The audience members hissed and heckled her as her dark, black boots continued to march down. Her yellow colored eyes quickly scanned the arena before they locked sights with Starlight. She glared into her ocean blue pearls before she proceeded to raise her arms into the air once more with a deafening roar of disapproval from the crowd. She slowly made her way up the steel steps; her eyesight completely focused on Starlight. Her peach colored skin glistened under the spotlight as she slowly slid between the orange ring ropes. "She's the most dominant wrestler in all of GWF history. She's held that title for over four years." "Right you are Ken. Catherine Klim has been a dominant force in the woman division ever since she got here. She even beat Starlight when the barefoot beauty debuted three years ago," Vic stated, just as Catherine's music faded out. Catherine slowly removed her robe, exposing her ring gear and the prize that the women were about to fight for. Snugged around her waist was a large black championship belt. The gold plates shimmered in the light. Starlight looked at the belt and then looked at her opponent, who had a confident smile on her face. She removed her belt and handed it over to the referee, as she began to warm up. Her incredibly short blue shorts contrasted against the majestic robe that she once wore. Her bare midriff glistened in the light as sweat rolled down her toned belly. Her leather white and orange top contained her ample breasts in place as she jumped and stretched inside the ring. The announcer and referee stepped into the middle of the squared circle. "The two participates will be transported to a pre-determined planet via teleporter. This planet has been scanned and shows no signs of life on the surface. They will be accompanied by a floating robot referee who will monitor the situation. The only way to win will be via pinfall or submission and there are no count outs or disqualifications!" The announcer stated. "Introducing first the challenger!" He added which caused the crowd to roar with excitement, "from the Vega System, planet 34-B6, she is know as the 'Barefoot Beauty', Starlight!" The blonde woman looked around herself as the audience exploded into a frenzy. They chanted her name and yelled with passionate energy. Starlight waved and smiled towards the live crowd. "And introducing the reigning and defending..." the audience instantly shifted their gaze from Starlight to Cathrine and immediately berated her with jeers. The *heat* she was getting from the crowd was nuclear as a majority hissed and booed at her passionately. "GWF Women's Interplanetary Champion. She would like to be introduced as 'THE center of the universe', the 'Cat who runs the Camp', the one, the only, Catherine Kilm!" Cathrine climbed up onto the second turnbuckle and raised her arms confidently. The crowd roared with disapproval as she looked across the arena. Another malicious smile overtook her face as she dismissively waved her hands at the fans, who burst into a angry mob, chanting "You Suck!". As Catherine stepped down onto the ring, the referee raised the belt high above himself. "Alright, ladies and gentlemen, the main event will be begin now," Ken stated as both Cathrine and Starlight began to glow brightly. With a sudden flash, they were both gone from within the ring. The titantron started to feed in video from the planet that they were now on. The two woman seemed to be standing on a small island that was surrounded by clear blue water. ---- Chaos gripped the citizens who lived within the Midwest United States. With a sudden flash of light, towns and cities were destroyed and millions were killed as four large object appeared out of nowhere. The ground around them lay nearly untouched; other then he cracks and fissures that appeared as the massive objects slowly sunk into the ground. However, most did not have any time to react as one of the large, peach colored walls rose from the ground with terrifying speed. The gale from its sudden lift off annihilated the untouched portions of city that were around it. People, debris and chunks of the earth flew into the air with it. The citizens who tumbled in the air could not understand what was happening. A thunderous explosion echoed throughout the United States as the massive peach pillar slammed onto the side of the other massive thing. Those who were plunged into the air were smashed onto the side of the colossal object with full force. Their bodies splattered into pools of blood and guts as debris rained down onto the peach canvas and the blue, jungle like, plain. The massive hit caused the two large black walls to shift themselves slightly to the right. The cities and towns near by were bulldozed into nothingness as they were crushed and destroyed by the massive objects. Citizens within the concrete jungles were too confused and dazed to understand what was going on. For them, their only warning was the thunderous rumbling of the wave of destruction that the massive wall pushed towards. The earth violently shook as the black objects tore through the soft clay of the planet. The peach colored pillar, as fast as it took of, suddenly dropped down onto the ground. A city who seemed to have dodged majority of the chaos was now engulfed with the dark, destructive shadow of the massive object that made its way to the ground. The citizens could only watch in sheer terror as the massive peach and black colored thing fell upon them. The wind howled as the object pushed itself down towards them. The light of the sun was blocked out as the peach color faded into pitch darkness. The city's lights, thinking it was night time, illuminated the streets before they were shattered by the violent gale. Windows exploded and cars flew into the air as the object made contact with the taller skyscrapers of the city. Screams bellowed out as the rumble of concrete and metal roared across the city. The cascade of debris rained down upon the citizens for just a spilt second before the massive object slammed onto the earth with a violent explosion. The buildings and towns around the massive peach pillar were blasted into the air by a gust of powerful wind. The earth shattered and cracked as the massive object buried itself into the ground. The other peach object, dormant throughout the whole ordeal, finally awoke as it rapidly rose from the ground, causing untold destruction upon the poor citizens around it. ---- The crowd cheered as they saw what was happening. "Starlight is starting this match strong! With a devastating left kick... right kick, and another left kick to the midsection of Catherine!" Vic stated as they watched the video feed from their desk. "Holy! Look at the ground around Starlight's feet! It simply cracks between her powerful, fast strikes!" Ken added. "Catherine is being pushed back..." the audience collectively flinched as Catherine delivered a sudden heavy right jab onto Starlight's head. "What a shot! The champion isn't going to go down without a fight... and Starlight looks like she's about to fall!" ---- A thunderous explosion echoed throughout the planet as the massive things high above the people seem to fight one another. With a sudden loud, deafening blast, the colossal peach pillars seemed to tilt backwards. The citizens who lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, miles away from the colossal objects, could see in complete shock and horror, what these things really were. Standing before them, stood two gigantic female humanoid figures. One of the massive creatures seemed to be leaning towards them, her back facing them. The ground near her massive feet buckled and cracked as the giant's weight was slowly shifted towards her heels. The people nearby could do nothing but watch as the massive pinkish blob bulldozed their town. A large wave of rumble and earth traveled along as buildings, cars and people became a unrecognizable mess that joined the gigantic pile of rubble. Her toes and the balls of her feet lifted themselves off the ground. Chunks of earth and pieces of buildings crashed onto the ground near by pummeling any survivors near her massive feet. The cities that once stood were here feet lay were flattened into a hard grey film that was stuck onto the crust of the earth. A shadow suddenly engulfed several cities within the southeastern United States as the massive woman began to descend upon them. Most of the citizens within these cities and towns began to panic. Many tried to run into their cars and head out of town while other ran into their homes and business and prayed for a miracle. Screams and yelling rang out throughout several cities as the shadow began to darken. Her body, large and imposing, continued its descend upon them. Her bare legs crashed onto the ground first, crushing anything that was unlucky to be in its path. Skyscrapers collapsed under her weight as houses were flatted and humans were smashed into her soft skin. The ground bellowed as it cracked beneath the overwhelming weight of these massive pillars of destruction. Small villages that were spared from the initial impact were obliterated from the massive amounts of wind that were blasted out from beneath the legs. Fissures separated people and towns as the ground was warped by the massive impact. Those between the legs were shot into the air by the escaping gale. Debris from annihilated buildings pelted the survivors who now free fell in the air. Her legs collapsed onto the earth with lighting speed. Her butt continued this momentum as it slammed onto the Tennessee/Alabama border. Those beneath it could only see blue fibers falling upon them as Starlight's massive behind closed the gap. The wind tore buildings and killed thousand of innocent people as her butt descend upon the downtowns of several cities. The skyscrapers collapsed with the slightest touch from her ass. The citizens who still lived through the gusts of wind could only look up as the sky turned from a nature blue color into a dark toned sky. Rubble and the sound of twisting metal drowned out the screams and prayers of those beneath her bum. With a thunderous thud, her ass slammed onto the earth sending mile long chunks of the United States into the air. Debris flew from ever direction, causing a grey cloud of dust to envelope the gigantic woman. Even more people were sent flying into the air as her ass jiggled ever so slightly within the ground. The earth, devastated by the weight and impact of her behind, was completely torn up. The grey clouds obscured the vision of those who were still on the ground, but that was just temporary as her bare back blew away the dust and debris while it continued its decline towards the ground. Near her butt, a large wave of debris was created as her body ripped the earth apart beneath it. Citizens who watched the massive plain of peach skin come towards them did not see the rumbling tsunami of debris that headed towards them. Cities and towns, disconnected from the power grid, had no ability to contact their citizens about the dangerous wave. People were instantly pulverized by the chunks of buildings and debris that collided with their towns with breakneck speeds. Her back slammed onto the earth eventually, but not before the tsunami of debris killed a large majority of the onlookers on the ground. The Earth itself seemed to cry out in pain as earthquakes rattled the Northern Hemisphere. Metropolitan areas hundreds of miles away collapsed under the intense shaking. People living within Charlotte watched in horror as the massive woman's blonde hair fell upon them first. The surge of hair strains, large enough to flatten towns by themselves, slammed onto the North Carolina forests and hills. The ground shattered under the extreme weight of the being. Everything in Charlotte grew darker and darker as her head came crashing down. Screams and yelling were drowned out by the Earth shattering around them and the gale blasting onto the city. The skyscrapers, unable to sustain this two front assault, collapsed event before the massive woman's head made contact with them. Debris flew all over the place as the wind rose to a fever pitch. Suddenly, everything went dark for those who lived in Charlotte. Starlight's head crashed onto the dirt, annihilating the once great city. However, a few people, out of sheer luck, survived the massive impact, and were now stuck, along with chunks of dirt and debris, onto her scalp. The other woman came alive as a thunderous booming voice echoed throughout the United States. Those farthest away, in Canada, realized what was happening. She was laughing. The orange hair giant began to move towards the collapse colossus. Her left boot covered foot started to rise up into the air. The Earth cried once more as loud cracking noises echoed throughout the Midwestern United States as the massive weight of the woman was lifted from the ground. The gigantic foot swung forward and began to fall upon an unfortunate city. The inhabitants, who were dazed by the earth shattering fall of the other massive woman, could only watch in complete horror as the remains of their once proud city was engulfed by a menacing shadow. Most did not do much as they saw the massive treads of the leather boot come towards them. The wind quickly picked up as the foot came down upon them. One man, who simply watched the massive black wall come towards him, prayed for any sort of salvation before the whole world around him turned pitch black. With an uncaring, thunderous roar, Catherine's boot slammed onto the ground below. The earth splintered into smaller pieces as the heavy boot buried itself in the ground. Her right foot followed suit as it raised itself from the soft, broken ground. It swung towards Starlight, who laid motionless on the floor. Her boot slammed onto another city, smothering the little people within it. ---- The young man awoke in a panic as the whole world around him shook violently. 'Am I dead?' He asked himself as he felt himself slowly rise into the air. The light engulfed him as dust and debris enveloped his whole body. He began to cough violently; blood splattered all over the air. 'What's happening?!' He said as the feeling of flying was suddenly replaced with acceleration. He tried to desperately move, but he couldn't feel anything below his neck. He, painful, moved his head towards the left side and was met with nothing more then dirt. He moved his gaze to the other side and was greeted with more dirt. He moved his head so that he could face forward, and realized that he was high above the ground. He could see the land shift from the broken hillsides to the destroyed forests that lay before him. All of this rushed passed him until the Earth was replaced by a large pinkish colored plain. 'Oh no,' he thought to himself as he realized where he was, 'this is not salvation. This is torture.' He, along with a handful of survivors, were smashed into the treads of the giant woman's boot. Pinned by debris and dirt, they could only watch as the they flew across the United States with the massive woman's strides. Now they hung over the massive belly of the equally as gigantic woman who laid on multiple States. Everything seemed to stand still, other then the chucks of rubble that would occasionally fall from her boot. The young man, unable to speak, could hear people shout in agony and confusion. Suddenly, the man's body was pressed down into the rubble as the colossal foot came down upon the pink plain. ---- Citizens screamed at the top of their lungs, however, most were unable to move. Some of these survivors had landed on the massive midriff of one of the gigantic women, which seemed like a different world to them. The pink existence seemed to stretch for miles, with two massive blue mountains looming in the distance. The warm pinkish/peach ground rose and descended in nearly soothing and hypnotic way. Giant droplets of hot water rolled across the plains. They would absorb debris and people within its structure; boiling those unfortunate enough to be caught within its watery substance. But now, high above a large chunk of survivors, hovered the large boot of Catherine. The massive black structure began to lower itself onto the large surface, causing panic within the survivors. Most couldn't leave as the fall had broken their bones or injured them severely. While those who tried to help other simply had to leave them behind in order to attempt to survive. But regardless of what they did, the massive black boot was too large to dodge for most. ---- The young man did not pray, nor did he say anything as the pressure from the wind drove him deeper into the dirt. His eyes, unable to bare the cold, powerful gale, were closed as the darkness enveloped him once more. ---- "Oh wow, such a cocky pin form the champion!" Vic said; the crowd disapproved of Catherine's actions as she placed her foot on top of Starlight's belly. The floating referee bot started to count, however, Starlight lifted her shoulder at the 1 count. "Starlight kicks out of that one, but the champ really needs to finish this instead of taunting her opponent," Ken said as Catherine, even though she did not pin Starlight, turned around and began to raise her arms in victory. The crowd booed even louder then before. ---- Those who were still on top of pink plain began to panic as their whole world started to move. The massive being shifted her body forward, causing many of the debris and people to tumble down towards her blue and white trunks. The massive droplets of sweat rolled quickly down her toned body, boiling those who still clung onto her pink skin. The droplets that made it to an edge simply slid off of her, now, moving body and slammed onto the ground below like bombs. The heat that radiated from the water caused steam clouds to envelop the surrounding areas. As her feet regained their footing, the ground underneath her shattered and shook once more. Her hands, resting upon the Carolinas, lifted her tires up into the air. With one final, earth breaking move, she used her arms to push her upper body up into the air. The fissures that were created caused sea water to rush into the mainland United States. Citizens from neighboring cities could of nothing but watch their dreams be washed away by the cold Pacific water. While others were boiled alive as her sweat continued to bombard the states beneath her body. ---- "Wait, Starlight is getting up... and Catherine has no idea!" Ken announced. Catherine, completely oblivious of the fact, continued to taunt and celebrate as Starlight prepared to counterattack.

WEAPON: Name: Indigo Katsumi CAN USE HER AURA MANIPULATION POWER WITH HER KATANA< AS WELL> » A blue flamed Katana w/the Name of Indigo. OR Indi. But the name changes. It is on a scale of ROYGBIV. Meaning her katana's color changes. Indigo is a Katana that is powered by her aura. The blade has a white stone, and when Her Aura connects with the stone, a flame arises from the blade. Depending on the color of the aura, is how strong the flame will be. Indigo has the ability to float on its own and move freely. As long as she is a few feet away, Indigo has the freedom to go wherever, And Only Kasumi can use Indigo. If someone tries to use Indigo or even tries to hold it, Indigo has the own ability to burn the holder. The only way Indigo can be held by another is if Katsumi ties their aura to the white stone on the blade. Aura has a different effect on how the blade is used. All of the auras can be repelled by a certain another aura. Each individual aura has a different effect on each other, but not all auras can be used at once unless a Rainbow Aura (all auras combined.) is activated.
Rainbow Aura- Her distortion ability highly affects her katana, making it stronger, and the aura's abilities more effective. Muddied red: Anger (repelling) Can Repel an attacker to back away. Any element can be effected unless something negates her attack. This aura color is the strongest of all. If Katsumi is kicked up with adrenaline, this aura can be dangerous. If any elemental power gets near the flame, skin or even leather can be burned by the extremity of how hot the flame is. Dark and murky pink: This aura color gives Kasumi the opportunity to use her stubbornness to manipulate the flame. The flame can be manipulated, turning anything it touches into a fire. Orange-Yellow: This aura color lets Katsumi use her imagination, letting her draw out a shape with her sword, and makes her able to turn that drawing a-flame. If she draws something in the air, it will come together as a flamed shape. Bright lemon-yellow: If this aura comes in place, she is Struggling to maintain power and control; fear of losing control and/or power. Making Katsumi have the ability to lose her sword, Which means that if Katsumi with-holds her katana and her aura flares, then the main control of the aura and flame would be distorted. Brownish yellow or gold: Fatigue or stress can take over her Katana, making the flame weak. IF she has excuses, Kasumi's trying to make up for "lost time" by making up excuses for everything all at once. Weak flame means weak control. Green: Kasumi can use the aura to suffocate. Also ties in with her air elemental power. If her Katana is in contact with skin or object, she can use her elemental power and aura to aim to suffocate the victim. Bright emerald green: Can be healing. This aura can be gentle, and not all of the flames are harmful. If she touches the wounded with the blade, it can heal. The flame is gentle. Violet: Reveals psychic power, giving Kasumi control over the blades flame. If another aura comes in place, this aura becomes useless. Lavender Aura: Imagination, visionary, daydreamer, etheric. Making the flame appear as fiery petals that can burn skin. She can tie in her imagination to make an object out of just plain fire. Gray: Residue of fear. The blade grows gray orbs and can create a grey flame that can cluster around her body and can be directed to an opponent. Black aura: Draws or pulls energy to it and in so doing, transforms it. It captures light and consumes it. Also can suffocate, which ties in with Green Aura. >-GOLD aura: Divine protection. When seen within the aura, The blade being guided by Protection, wisdom. >-White aura: A pure state of light comes through the blade, making it holy. A new, not yet designated energy comes from Kasumi's aura. Spiritual, Purity, and truth; angelic qualities.

Backstory
Being a vampire, Kasumi has discarded some of her memories of the past. Only small memories are held with her. but there have been rough times where she couldn't take it anymore.
---
A Long time ago, she was human. She wandered around, then came across her creator. She greeted him, and she was so attached that one day, He made Kyn his own kind. All she had to do was take his blood, die, then come back to life newly made and totally different. After that moment, all of her life problems as a human went disregarded. She had a rough childhood, but family and friends made things so much better. Having her past forgotten was the best of everything. Without Kyn meeting her creator, she wouldn't have met anyone else that she knows today.
