Hello Madagascar Fandom!

May 12 is the 4th anniversary of All Hail King Julien: Exiled. So starting that date there will be an event to celebrate! It will run for two weeks and each day will be centered on an episode.

However, for this event the themes are mostly there if you want a challenge. You don't have to do all the themes to participate in the event. All you need to do to participate is make something Exiled themed during the two week window. Any content tagged #Exiled-iversary will be reblogged here during the event!

Any form of fan content is welcome and encouraged. This is including but not limited to fanart, fanfiction, fan videos, analysis, reviews, crafts, memes, etc.

I hope everyone enjoys it!

Brother

Two brothers in the crater of their own creation. One laying sprawled out beneath the stone symbol of his cruelty. The other standing before him with spear in hand aimed at his kin’s throat.

“Any last words? Something that might go on your tombstone or an inspirational poster?” Sage snarled.

“Heh. You wouldn’t kill me! You couldn’t hurt a plant, let alone your own flesh and blood!” Koto sneered, giving his kin a contemptuous side eye.

“True but the journey that brought us here as shown me that sometimes it is the only option! Goodbye brother!” Sage proclaimed, lifting his weapon over his head for the killing blow when suddenly, something brought his rancorous resolve to a screeching halt. For within a blink, Koto’s form changed from monstrous man to little boy, just as Sage remembered him all those seasons ago.

“Babak, what are you doing!?” Little Koto pleaded, looking up at his brother with wounded puppy eyes. “Why do you want to hurt me!?”

“Wh-what?” Sage stuttered breathlessly, staggered by this turn of events, by the return of the sweet little lemur he had missed so much. His gaze then swiftly softened, he slowly lowered his weapon to where it’s tip almost touched the ground and tenderly tried to reassure his kin through quivering breathes, “N-no. No, I don’t want to hurt you! I-I...I...”

“Don’t you love me anymore!?” Koto pitifully implored, his tiny voice brimming with hurt, his little body trembling as the promise of tears started to pool within his innocent eyes.

“Of course I love you! You’re my brother! I’ll always love you!” Sage told him with tender earnest. He then looked down at the spear firmly grasped in his hands and that’s when realization crashed down upon him. “Oh gods, what am I doing!?” He cried, utterly mortified, but when he tried to let go of his weapon, his hands remained tightly clamped to it. Confused, Sage tried again but his fingers only tightened their grip on the deadly instrument and that’s when his arms began to raise it once more.

“What the...no. No! No, I don’t want this! Stop! Please!” Sage beseeched, watching with mounting horror as the spear’s razor sharp tip was aimed at Koto once more.

At the little lemur whose tiny body was now shaking like a leaf trapped in a tropical storm as he looked upon his brother with big eyes brimming with a bitter cocktail of tears, fear and heart shattered betrayal. Stabbing Sage’s own like a thousand knives, the blood pouring out in his panicked plea.

“Koto, run!”

But Koto remained where he lay, with eyes locked with the spear’s head as Sage thrust it towards him, his mouth agape, his voice gone as a horrified cry escaped from his kin’s, but just as the weapon was a whisker away from the little lemur’s heart, the world went dark.

This Scene, Where Maurice shows Julien that Pineapple and his old enemies arriving at Julien's Victory Party, waving at Julien, oh yeah there's Willie or whatever but he doesn't matter to this next one anyway. Then, as a nod to one of Cinema's Best Conclusions of a Trilogy (*Ahem Return of the Jedi *Ahem), right next to Julien's Ex Girlfriend and his forgotten ancestor who makes no since whatsoever, stood Koto, now a ghost. And What Happens Next, Julien smiled at Koto, in turn Koto smiles back at Julien, as a act of redemption, they started out as friends, and they ended off as friends, friends... more like Bros, Bro,Ther, Buddies, aka, Bros.

Episode 5 - Raiders of the Lost Shark

So there's a really interesting scene with Mort in this episode...so I finally made a theory about it!

MADAGASCAR THEORIES 9 - MORT, MULTIVERSE, WISHING WELL

I know there are already a lot of theories about Mort, this is why I didn't post my ones yet, and it was really hard - Mort is such an amazing material for every theorist. So let's think a bit about him finally...

We all know that Mort is an immortal, evil being, who travelled through the multiverse to absorb his alternate selfs. We just don't know how did he do it without technology - Smart Mort wasn't always in his mind. However, I think travelling through the multiverse is one of Mort's abilities actually, what he forgot about, like he forgot what did he done in the past - or most likely swapped to another of his personalities, since AHKJ Mort doesn't look too evil, but it's not the case this time - and we even saw him using that ability! In the Raiders of the Lost Shark episode, Koto found out that the prisoners escaped and he captured them again, but Mort ran away. Suddenly, a wardrobe appeared - that's also a reference to Narnia, I think - Mort went inside, he arrived to the real life, where he also met with his grandma, who said that she see that Mort finally came to the wishing well, and offered him to hide in that reality, but Mort escaped again, back to AHKJ.

Based on this, I think Mort somehow can make portals - the wardrobe - to alternate universes with his own mind, and the real life scenes we saw is actually an alternate universe, and he travelled through the multiverse this way. However, I know a different explanation for these scenes, but it's for another theory...

Still, there's something we need to talk about: that mysterious wishing well Mort's grandma always refers to. She first mentioned it in Fast Food Lemur Nation, when Mort forgot how his grandma made the fast food. After this Raiders of the Lost Shark episode, we last see Mort grandma when in Out of the Foosa Pen and into the Fire, Mort fought with her, and made her falling into the wishing well. It seems for me that the wishing well is actually the place where Mort hide his memories. He came to the wishing well, and learned how to use his ability again.

This was one of my theories related to Mort, and I really enjoyed covering it up. Maybe I'll do another Mort theories in the future...

#Exiled-iversary - Chapter doisprezece

This scene is iconic, the epic shot at the end of the episode, Koto, starring at King Julien, Clover, Maurice, and Mort gasps, while King Julien is cheering, only to look behind him, a sphere, pointing at him, and screams, horrofyingly. In fact, that shot, where Julien looks behind him, only to scream because he was about to be stabbed, IN THE MOUTH!, that scene, was used in the trailer for Exiled, and I think it was used in all promotional material, for Exiled. Horrofying, and Perfect at the same time, Isn't it.
