cannot stop thinking about lupa and juno's reactions to jason's death. god did juno feel it when he died? did she hear his string get cut? did she wail loud enough that all of olympus heard it? what was it like realizing the boy she loved like a son was dead? was was it like watching his father not even shed a tear? was she the one to tell lupa? and on lupa's end, how angry do you think she was? this is her pup. her youngest pup. he was so young when he first started, when juno first gave him to her? he learned how to roughhouse with her packmates. he learned to fly with her! did she snap at juno? did she scream and curse and blame juno? did she howl mournfully?

#these are his moms!!! #not very good ones but his moms nonetheless!! #when he fought krios do you think he heard their voices in his head encouraging him #'victory or death jason' lupa says in head 'die like a roman or don't die at all.' jason picks up his sword again. #krios knock his sword out of his hand and jason bares his teeth. that's okay. he doesn't nned a weapon to fight #he wrestles krios to the floor and the titan's throat is bared and it would quick and simple to rip it out but he hesitates. #normal people dont do that. his head pounds. his lady's voice exhoes in his head 'go for the kill always my champion.' #jason leans down and clamps his teeth around krios' throat and rips it out. the titans gasps pathetically underneath him #it's not enough. he can already see the wound beginning to heal so he digs his fingers into the wound and starts pulling #the neck rips quickly once he gets started and he snaps the spine as he goes. finally with one last tug the head comes clean off. #he stands up from where he's kneeling over the body and picks up the head by its hair turning around to face the legion. #there is ichor staining his mouth golden. it drips onto his armor. he lifts the head up high. the legions stares at him in shock and awe. #they look terrified he notes absently. The parallels between cliopher in "at the feet of the sun" and Pali in the Redoubtable pali avramapul".

The way they both use the phrase "familiar unfamiliar". Both I. Reference to Fitzroy among other things.

The similar but mirror image ways they both reacted to (spoilers) the information that Fitzroy and the emperor are the same person.

They way they each start with knowing one side of him before understanding the truth.

The way that Pali and cliopher are both in love with different parts of the same man, but then kip goes on to love and partner with the whole Fitzroy. To help him find that whole, but Pali explodes that in her shock at understanding. She immediately assumes that the man she loved isn't in there anymore and asks him if all he is is the emperor.

It's like seeing peices of what kip could have been. I'll have to reread at the feet of the sun and compare the alternate reality of kip to her.

Ninjago Headcanons

What I think each character's hygiene is like

Kai: Pretty decent. I think he uses shower gel and those scrunchy shower things, but will use that two in one shampoo and conditioner (specifically the anti-dandruff/heat resistant ones). And has a face cloth that he rarely uses. Showers maybe every two to three days, and shaves maybe once a week. Would use body cream, and on his face.

Brushes his teeth twice a day, doesn't floss.

Cole: Showers nearly everyday and washes his hair constantly. Making it frizzy and kinda unhealthy. The type to use shower gel or a bar of soap depending, and a cloth, to wash himself. Also would use that two in one shampoo. Would have face wash and use it with the same cloth. Would shave every day. Uses body cream and face cream.

Brushes his teeth once a day in the morning, tries to floss but is really bad at being consistent.

Jay: Homeboy barely brushes his teeth, I don't think he would shower on a regular basis either. And if he did, it's with a bar of soap and nothing else. Tho I feel like he would clean everywhere but just not very through about it. Again, the two in one shampoo but this is because they (the ninja) are poor (and the bar of soap is definitely a choice). I think the most he can grow is like very thin peach fuzz so he doesn't shave much. Doesn't use cream.

Doesn't brush his teeth, nor flosses.

Zane: Regular oil, polish and touch ups to make sure he looks clean and tidy.

Pixal: Same as Zane, though she is typically more through about it.

Echo Zane: Doesn't know what hygiene is, constantly covered in dirt and grime though Zane does try to help him clean up a little.

Nya: Would shower every two to three days like Kai, but has separate shampoo and conditioner, hair gel and a loofah. Also has face wash that she uses occasionally with her hands. Has a skin care routine for her face because she saw it in an ad. Would use body cream and face cream.

Brushes her teeth twice a day, would floss occasionally.

Lloyd: I think he would also shower with just a cloth and a bar of soap, but once a week he has this long routine: separate shampoo and conditioner, shower gel, face wash, face cream, body cream, just, everything. He always smells so nice afterwards. It's like a self care kind of thing that he allows himself to indulge in.

Bad at brushing his teeth everyday, flosses once a week.

Sensei Wu: I don't even know where to begin really. I think it would either be really bad, kinda like he just washes himself with water, or would use soap but not be extremely thorough. Or he could be quite through, however I don't see him putting much effort into washing his body. His hair, on the other hand, he has a whole ass routine for it (and his beard). His hair and beard are immaculate. Doesn't use cream.

Sensei Garmadon: He would be plain and simple, shower twice a day, brush his teeth twice a day, maybe floss once a week and keeps himself near and tidy. He just smells clean. Uses a cloth and soap, and basic shampoo, conditioner, and a cheap face wash. Would use hand cream but that's about it

Evil Garmadon: Homeboy would be quite the opposite. Never showers. And like we saw in the early episodes, doesn't really brush his teeth.

Dareth: He stinks. You know those jokes about men using 6 in one shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, and so on. That's him. But he does use those shower scrunchies so no musty cloth smell. Brushes his teeth maybe once every two days, never flosses. No body cream at all.

Ronin: I think because of the lack of accessibility to a shower, he would only be showering when he has the time or, to, a shower or somewhere decent. Tries to be on top of his hygiene, brushes as often as he can but doesn't floss. Would use a two in one shampoo, shower gel and cloth (all cheap stuff). Has cheap body lotion for when he does shower

Skylor: I feel like she would have the best hygiene out of everyone on this list, simply because she has the money to invest in body products, bath stuff, and so on. Baths every day, has a whole skin care, face care and hair routine. Uses body lotion, face cream, all that jazz.

Brushes her teeth twice a day but struggles to keep up with her flossing
