hi! you can call me Jessie or Ewren, my pronouns are she/they, i'm in my 20s, and i love creating things!! i mostly do songwriting and poetry, but recently i've been getting back into visual art/drawing and writing longer works (i used to do both more but dropped off for a couple years, a product of the passage of time i suppose). main things you'll find here:

Bought the game — it was really good and made me miss my MC Haven. He looks kinda different then before. More pale and his eyes are more dead. But load and behold, the fourth heir of King Richard the Heartless and the youngest child of queen Alvena, The Merciful Reaper — prince Haven.

Also I somehow managed to whoo all characters?? Even Daemir couldn’t managed to stay cold to Haven, whose gentle smlile made a crack on his cold armer. The only ones that Haven flat out didn’t had patience to deal with were Lena (which is awkward because her brother literally is co-parent to Haven’s adopted daughter) and Astryn (he was quite kind to her under weight of incoming war with his lost cousin and even voted to let her have freedom from dungeons. so you can imagine his cold rage, when he clutches to his chest an orphaned girl while watching his people slowly dying — because he gave mercy to Astryn. that was the last time people of Rhivenia called him Merciful Reaper. his new path begins with beheading Astryn and sending her head with mouth full of paper with names of every victim from act of poison to Ewren. “You could’ve been chosen by a sword. Your father were loved enough for that to happen. But who will be eager to have a murderer of their children as their King?”

Gonna draw some more for the game, especially Haven’s family mess, his best friend Revna and his lovers (don’t fucking break his heart, Jarean! And Xavier, be the same cutie!) Also maybe gonna post some fanfiction…

happy (slightly belated) 60th Dr. Who!! this is a tribute song i wrote about/inspired by the show a few months ago, and i couldn't decide what to do with it at the time, but with the last 60th anniversary episode coming out today, it struck me that it could be a nice little way to celebrate this piece of media i've loved for half my life at this point. but, whether or not you like Dr. Who, it's a fun little diddy so i hope you enjoy either way! <3

How often do you collaborate with others in and out of your music? Do you ever get people to help with recording? Would you ever consider doing a split?

wowzers what a great question! on my first record i collaborated a lot, i think nearly every single song had a collaboration of some sort on it.

second choice had keys+vocals by kameron salek of desert bloom, some prod. by xavier paul from desert bloom, and a couple of people who edited the lyrics

toledo had drums by xavier paul

skeleton song is all me

together is all me 

little king was edited by a friend and the “what??” sample is my friend mia

6. death request was made by me but a friend left the voicemail

star cluster had a feature, the structure had some input by kameron, and kennedy of desert bloom played the guitar solo

eds song was entirely written and performed by a friend

more recently, lev! has co-produced a song on my EP (blond boy), and a collab with my friend Ewren (in the form of a star cluster re-mix) comes out 3/12.

outside of my music i’ve done some production work for an EP by a friend, i’ve done drums for a cash monkeys song, and i consult a lot of eli applegate’s more recent unreleased stuff.
