Recently I have slowly grown frustrated with my work , and in turn , my worth because of it. A lot of complicated things are going on in my life and as a result , I have grown too tired to work on anything. I want to change that.

I want to continue to improve my art so I'm working on the longest project I have ever made. A 20 style challenge of fandoms I enjoy !

Wanted to just develop BE’s design more, likewise got more ideas/lore going!!!

So going deeper into the war that transpired and her role in it, AM in this au did technically gain sentience however it was after BE. The reason she developed it before him however is based upon her purpose, being a machine meant to directly sabotage the war and save lives, the group that created her would sneak into the large cavities and mega structures and purposefully enter her code. So technically while still an AI she at the beginning functioned more like a virus. First gaining full control over the Russian AM, before moving to the next, and so on. She was designed to adapt quick and efficiently thus when she does eventually come into contact with AM (the one we know) it’s when he is in the process of taking out humanity (she was also sheltering and gathering as many humans as she could during this time for a different reason). When in contact with him, based on what happens in this world, it’s quite obvious that she beats and takes over AM, however it’s important to note, that technically she doesn’t just “absorb” him, she kind of forces him to shut himself down and takes over his complex from there. I do want to make a short comic detailing this interaction that the two have, cause it is kind of interesting, but until then I also have plans for a separate post detailing all the survivors here.

So I know I’m really late figuring this out especially since this is our fourth playthrough of Breath of the Wild since 2021, but. A few days ago I was undertaking a korok hunt and happened to be looking in my inventory to change my weapon when I noticed that the Master Sword was charged up to power 60. “But I’m not in a Divine Beast or the Castle, or fighting Ganon,” I thought, and then realization dawned. There was a seemingly dead stationary Guardian nearby. I walked up to it, it bonged into life, and I quickly equipped the Master Sword and dispatched it.

You may be asking: How did we go through three and three fourths playthroughs without noticing that the Master Sword powers up around Guardians? Simple. We’d only ever killed Guardians using the shield-reflecting Perfect Guard method. Never with a melee weapon. Oh we knew you could, we’d watched videos of people doing all sorts of impressive stunts to kill them. But why do that when you can just reflect their own beams back and do a lot of damage fairly consistently and safely? So we thought.

Anyway, I later wanted to show Bast this discovery I’d made and so went up to the Plateau where I knew there are some dormant-but-not-dead Guardians in the Eastern Abbey. I equipped the Master Sword and unsheathed it to walk around that area. And goodness, when I got closer to my quarry and the blade suddenly sprang into a blaze of blue light with an angry little *shing!* sound, I was enchanted.

Now, I know the Deku Tree did say that the Master Sword is most properly used against entities and in places imbued with Ganon’s energy, and I now realize that certainly includes Guardians (not little ones in shrines, those are good guys meant to help the monks train you—the big ones that were usurped by Ganon). So it makes sense even if you think it’s just that, that makes the sword power up around them.

But I believe it’s also because Guardians are what harmed Link to within the barest millimeter of his life, one hundred years ago. And the Sword that Seals the Darkness has a spirit inside who remembers that.

If only you know to consult her, Fi has Information for her beloved Master. She will warn him of the dangerous Guardians nearby.

And she will aid him with all her might.

What are your thoughts on the romance done in TMNT 2012? I feel like the only ones that didn't have a bunch of problems were Renetengelo and Mona Lisa x Raphael. Leorai, while cute, gets awkward with the whole "Karai being Splinter's daughter." Like its better than other situations I've seen in which the two characters are raised as siblings/are connected by blood but it still makes the ship awkward. And Apritello, while initially being cute, got weird in the latter seasons, especially with how it seemed like April recuperated Donnie's feelings but was never really touched upon.

i wanted to get far enough in the show before answering this and im pretty meh about the romance in 2012,, i think my biggest hang up was the need to give every turtle a love interest bc i think it's unnecessary

renetengelo is fine i just think it's kind of unnecessary bc it kinda came out of nowhere (plus rene isn't even born yet technically?? they're from two different time periods)

uhm raph and mona are cute n stuff,, i think it's a nice call back to the og 1987 cartoon

leorai bothers me bc even after it was revealed karai was leo (and the others) sister, they still pushed for that subtle romance between the two which was really weird and some moments made me uncomfortable (like the one scene where karai is trying to get leo to help her with something and she's like caressing him or something. vomiting. what was that)

ik a lot of people hate apriltello, i don't really care about it either way. it has its bad moments ofc,, i just found it confusing more than anything and i prefer it when the turtles have a sibling dynamic with april

overall i don't really have a huge opinion on ships as long as you aren't being gross or rude abt it

THE SKETCH IS FINALLY DONE OMG!!!

This behemoth of a drawing took months to finish due to school or unfortunate bed rotting but I gave myself a compromise by making rules for this challenge

1. I can’t quit halfway through a drawing until I finish the drawing I started. Only then can I take a break. If its really too much then I can take a two day break to work on something else ( youtube , writing , sketchbook art , ect )

2. I want to start to break away from using bases as often as I do so I’m limiting how often I can trace. I’m allowed to trace certain body limbs that are from bases/references as long as it isn’t another artist’s work and if it is I need to credit them. I can also trace only if I have attempted to draw it numerous times

3. The most important one : have fun ! Thats the goal of this project after all. I want to get back into art again

To anyone thats apart of these fandoms and can draw in their styles , how accurate are my versions and do you have any advice for me. Any insight is greatly appreciated ! ヽ(｡>▽<｡)ﾉ

this is completely detached from the canon by this point but what if scifi dystopian rero where remus is a twenty-something engineer whos been working on a robot for a few years, collecting parts from different planets and stuff, and the fic starts with him testing the robot's consciousness and thought and memory ('state your purpose. what is that called? okay, good. what's your favorite book and why?')

the robot in question is a replica of his twin sister rosaline whos been gone for quite a while and somehow remus constructed it a mind that has parts of his sister's mind, like from scraps from the ruins of their childhood home and little things that would be meaningless to anyone but them, that activate memories and make this rosaline into a nearly believable copy of remus' dead sister

and like. listen. im thinking remus is on a mission to steal a crystal or some sort of module for robot rosaline's heart so her blood would be real and she would be real so he could completely believe it is her there. and the whole fic would be about how robot rosaline develops real human consciousness (from mixing memories and events and objects from the now and the ones that have been programmed in her) in their adventures, and she makes friends in the dangerous places they visit and she dances and laughs and falls in love with her brother

but shes not programmed for that. like at all. basically - they act exactly like they did back at home, like they just hang around the ship and either banter like sibs or just do their own things in silence. in the fic it would be like arguing softly about the things that happened to them outside, helping each other mount upgrades to the ship, rosaline bringing remus dinner while hes steering so they could eat messily and look at the thousand upon millions of colors making the galaxy before them

Listen they could hold each other when remus' body temperature-controller acts off, with rosaline emitting some smoke from her body, giving away her energy to keep him warm when theyre drifting in their ship in the middle of the vast expense of space. and rosaline wants more, but with consciousness she develops morality and there is something wrong about it she can't put a finger on.
