trying on outfits for my important work presentation tomorrow. dresses feel bad. menswear feels bad. my gender is I Don't Want To Be Here and my gender expression is pajamas.

#everyone talks about coming to gender realizations during quarantine blah blah #my gender realizations are the same as before except i got to forget about them for a while and now they're like knock knock guess who #actually i am having this new thing lately where even though i am cis and most people irl make the correct assumption about my pronouns #and i do like it when people irl call me the wrong pronouns because they guessed wrong (that's not new but it's very rare these days #because a) i never leave the house so who's looking at me lol and b) my hair grew out during the pandemic) #i feel like...really happy when someone who doesn't know me irl uses the correct pronouns for me on the internet? #i think because in that situation they're not going off of any aspect of my appearance (since i don't share that online) #but are just. going to the trouble to look at what i said my pronouns were in my header. and then using those #it just means they cared enough to do that and that means a lot to me suddenly #most non-mutuals on here use 'they' pronouns for me (that i've seen) #and i'm okay with that because i feel like they pronouns should just be the default for people you don't know #so it always reads to me as like...this person is being respectful and not making assumptions (which i appreciate) #but also my pronouns are right there. so it does feel really good when people use the right ones #my posts #anyway idk what i'm gonna wear. guess we'll see what feels least bad in the morning
