Hellooo everyone, I’m earth! A reality tv star!, one of the main cast members of “space friends” 
Don’t get me confused with the other three, Cataclysm and Geo, but it wont be hard to get us mixed up since I’m the most handsome hahah.
This is a little exclusive on our little freak-show, right now I’m not on air for “Space Friends” so I’m not tied down by rules.
y’know it’s easy being such a talented bot that good at everything like me, so when the shows on, the team likes to add misfortune on me at random for the sake of making things more funny, like making trip on a pebble in front of a crowd, or have my luck completely disappear, humiliation to be more “relate-able”, I MEAN I DIDNT SPEND MY ENTIRE LIFE TO BE TOP OF THE CLASS TO BE A CLOWN- anyways
Firstly I should tell you a little summary of the show. Sooo, we’re basically like galactic clowns, we entertain people in a variety of ways. It can be on our earth, or a complete different dimension, the genre can change from time to time, depending on our prompt.
Sometimes we just film normal days at our office/ headquarters, doing some goofy shenanigans, or even our own homes. Oh I should mention, I live in a forest, Comet lives in a cave, Moon lives in the ocean and sun lives in a volcano. 
Although we do all our stunts, we still need some help from our talented team of individuals for censorship. We can’t have any swear words, or heavy gore on our show, but with movie magic our team seamlessly changes the audio and visuals in a perfectly convincing way!
They go real easy on our guest compared to our main cast, we have a whole bunch of rules!

Riddle Rosehearts 
You two clash heads all the time. Riddle is a stickler for the rules, while you have a strong sense of justice that defies written law at times. However, you always overpower him since you have no magic that he can take away with his collar.
With that being said, he’s surprised to find out that you are blind. He feels no pity towards you, though. After all, your other senses heightened to make up for the lack of sight. He will offer help with escorting you around the campus, since he’s not completely heartless (get it?)
Once you both got into a relationship (which took a while, with your trust issues and the fact that Riddle knows next to nothing about love), you teamed up against rulebreakers. You would ask your boyfriend to give them a fair trial. You were his voice of reason.
He had to admit that it was very attractive whenever he saw you beating up Ace. Not only was the First Year getting packed up, but he was getting packed up by someone who had to rely on other senses besides vision. It kind of had him worried for the future of the dorm.

Leona Kingscholar
He is so down bad for you and you don’t even know. Hell, he doesn’t even know. There’s just something so freaking attractive about a woman who could easily put him in his place that he can’t help but fall for you.
His attraction only grows when he finds out that you are visually impaired. You both protect each other, and he shows his protective side by making sure you get to your classes alright. He would deny it to the ends of Twisted Wonderland, but you’re smarter than that.
Once you got into an official relationship, everyone was so freaking surprised. They thought you two were going to live out the entirety of your lives alone and untrusting of anyone who tried to get close to you. Well… now that they think about it… maybe they should have seen this coming.
When he saw you fighting against the members of his dormitory and winning… he was just about down one one knee for you. Back in the Sunset Savannah, the women were typically the hunters and warriors, so you reminded him of how it was back home.

Azul Ashengrotto
Oh, you both were definitely rivals at the beginning. Azul’s shady business deals were anything but just and right in your unseeing eyes, so you would constantly throw hands with the eels whenever they tried to get one of your friends to sign a contract.
The cecaelia is constantly upset about this, since he can’t exactly put you under a contract because there is no cure for your blindness. So, everyday he constantly loses more and more possible business ventures.
When you two got into a relationship, it was shocking to everyone. It would most likely be after his overblot when it happened, which is when he stopped with the contracts and deals. You made him realize that it was harming the NRC student body and therefore harming the reputation of the school as a whole.
He has witnessed you absolutely destroying the tweels on multiple different occasions. Most of them were when they tried to scout out students to deceive. He was shocked by the power you had… and the fact that you were blind and you were still able to fight and win against them. He has a fear instilled within him.

Kalim Al-Asim
This guy just wanted to be your friend, but you always brushed him off and said that you didn’t need friends. This didn’t discourage them, though, because he just tried harder and harder to break down your walls.
When he found out that you were blind, he took it as an opportunity to get closer to you since he could assist you with getting you to your classes. Eventually, he succeeded in his mission and you caved as you admitted to yourself that you enjoyed being around him.
That makes a great segway into you two becoming official. Absolutely no one was surprised or anything like that. Instead, they were confused because they thought that the two of you were together the entire time.
The first time he saw you in combat was probably when some of the students tried to keep you locked inside of Scarabia over Winter Break. He was shocked that his girlfriend was so strong, but he thought it was so freaking cool!

Vil Schoenheit
Vil was alright in having a sense of justice. Pomefiore was meant to be modeled after the Fairest Queen of All, so he made sure that the dorm looked their very best. You were kind of indifferent towards him.
When he found out that you were blind, he did show pity and would ask if he could accompany you to your classes. He wasn’t hurt when you declined him the first few times, you are in a strange world after all. It was probably smart to not trust anyone yet.
The moment you both get together in a relationship was one of joy on his part. It was a step into letting you know that he was a person you could trust and rely on within this strange world. What he didn’t know was that you were still a tad wary.
We all know how Rook loves to stalk people, but when you found out that you were his victim you pulled him out of the tree and started throwing hands. Vil walked in on the scene and let out a loud shriek. He had to go over and pull you off before you caused permanent damage.

Idia Shroud
He thought you were just so cool. He had the same energy that little kids have whenever they meet their favorite hero in person. He admired your strong sense and desire for justice and how you would do anything to achieve righteousness.
Idia was honestly surprised to find out that you were blind. However, he just thinks that it adds to your awesomeness factor because you were able to navigate yourself around NRC with your other senses just as fine.
When you both put an official title on your relationship, he is shocked himself. How did a shut-in otaku like him manage to get you as his girlfriend? You most definitely wear the pants in this situation, and he is completely fine with it. (It totally doesn’t make him think of the future where he is a househusband… wait- headcanons??)
He witnessed you throwing hands with your friends and he is scared for Ace especially. When you stand victorious, the first year has a bloody nose, black eye, and missing teeth. Honestly, Idia swears that he fell for you more.

Malleus Draconia
He was saddened at how reserved you were, but he understood. He doubted that he would find himself easily trusting others if he were in your predicament. He would respect your wishes and leave you alone until you came to him first.
The fae was very happy when you had accepted his invitation to go on a walk in the night. It was then that he found out you were blind. He offered you his arm just so you wouldn’t have to rely on your other senses, and he got excited when you held onto him.
Once you had announced that you both were officially courting, everyone (besides Sebek) was excited. You acted as his voice of reason and justice, since he is one of the five most powerful mages in Twisted Wonderland and also the Prince of Briar Valley, and you did your job well. Lilia was even more confident in the future of the Briar Valley with you by Malleus’s side.
He has seen you train your martial arts skills against his knights. Silver was faring well, but lost in the end. Sebek lost so poorly that Malleus cringed at how bad it was. Your fight against him seemed personal, and the fae made note to never get on your bad side.

(way too many) thoughts on the ahsoka show
It was fine? I was really afraid there would be something I hated. And there was nothing I hated. Sad but true that that’s the bar for new SW material atm.
I really liked ep5; ep5 will probably get a rewatch. I liked the casting. The visuals were pretty cool. Huyang was a treasure.
So we’re really going with “the Force is in everyone so everyone can use the Force if you just try hard enough”? I… kind of hate that. That somehow feels ableist of me to say. But this is a heckin fantasy universe I feel like some people Really Are That Special, y’know?
Exception that proves the rule: A Force-less Sabine is still VERY SPECIAL. In Rebels, she can hold her own in a fight just as much as Kanan or Ezra. She’s extremely competent without the Force. She’s somehow less competent in this show
She really is just the worst here in ways that I do not remember her being in Rebels. I guess arguably Ezra was the one with Terminal Protagonist Syndrome in that show? And she caught it from him before he left?
I feel like what this season WANTED to be about – and honestly it’s the lowest hanging fruit possible for a show titled “Ahsoka” – is the tension between Ahsoka’s past / her relationship with her master and her future / her relationship with her apprentice. But I don’t think they actually hit a balance there, because they just did not make her relationship with her apprentice very compelling. Three reasons for this:
1. My bias. There are very few things that start with “Ahsoka &” that would get my attention more than “Ahsoka & Anakin.” Feel like I’m not alone on that one tho
2. Established canon. It’s already an uphill battle because Ahsoka and Sabine don’t have much of a relationship in Rebels. I’m honestly not sure they ever have a conversation. I remember Sabine being like “wow she’s cool much cooler than my idiot adopted brother”, and maybe that would be a place for a mentor figure relationship to start, if Sabine weren’t already DROWNING in mentor figures. It’s not that they have nothing in common, they are just straight up not a focal point of Rebels S2.
Hey you know who canonically has latent Force abilities? And maybe needs some training? And whom Ahsoka would have a Complicated feeling about without even needing a prior established relationship? Someone with mutually incompatible daddy issues? Someone deep enough in the cultural zeitgeist she literally would need no introduction?
Yes I KNOW it’s never gonna be canon and I should just go back to AO3 but it’s RIGHT THERE HRRRRRGGGGHHHHH
3. But a lot of the issues with Ahsoka & Sabine as a focal point are of the showmakers’ own creation. You’re telling me they have a relationship now? Fine, CONVINCE me of that:
First they shoot themselves in the foot by not giving us any information about how Sabine became Ahsoka’s apprentice originally. Why did Sabine want to become a Jedi when she didn’t want that in Rebels? DID she want to become a Jedi? What did she want to learn from Ahsoka? Why did Ahsoka decide to take an apprentice at that time and not any time before or after? How did she feel about it? And why pick Sabine, who is, and this is true, Not Very Good at the Force? Who approached whom, or did they run into each other accidentally? I suppose answering some of these questions might require answering “where was Ahsoka between 3 BBY and 4 ABY?” and they aren’t ready to do that yet, but guys. GUYS. If you’re trying to tell me how Ahsoka and Sabine fix their relationship, you gotta tell me why I care first.
I know I'm harping but I really cannot emphasize enough that "fuck it I'm gonna go round two on Found Family" is an arc-defining character beat for both Ahsoka AND Sabine and the fact that the audience doesn't get to see it really makes me question whether the powers that be themselves know what it looks like
Then we get vanishingly little information about why they broke up, and all of it is provided by Huyang. And what I’m picking up from what we have is “Sabine got too Revenge Quest-y, and Ahsoka got nervous.” I don’t even know where to begin here – maybe with the fact that if Sabine decided to go on a murder rampage, she wouldn’t need the Force, lol. We know Sabine’s family died, she wanted to go to Mandalore, and Ahsoka didn’t want her to. So… did Sabine go? How did she end up back on Lothal? Who left who? Was Ahsoka worried for Sabine’s safety, or that she was getting too Dark Side-y, or both? What juicy terrible intergenerational-trauma-driven things did they say to each other when they broke up? I want to compare and contrast this with Ahsoka leaving Anakin, but I do not have the information to do so because there are zero details and the info we DO have is from ANOTHER CHARACTER. Again, if this season is about this relationship, TELL ME WHY I CARE.
To me this is the same cardinal sin as Picard S1 – implying that some really interesting stuff happened when the audience wasn’t watching, and that it explains why the characters are behaving the way they are, and then… not disclosing that information. EXCEPT PICARD GAVE US MORE THAN THIS fjdghjfghjkhkd
I was not on Tumblr when I was watching Picard S1. Probably for the best.
But okay, they have a history, the show is gonna be about them, sure let’s move on. AND THEN THEY SPEND LIKE HALF THE EPISODES NOT EVEN IN THE SAME GALAXY. The time they do spend in the same room is 75% generic sniping. As someone who came into this way more invested in the Ahsoka & Anakin relationship, ep5 was very much NOW BACK TO THE GOOD PART
And the couple of beats they do have together have me going HUH? After ep2 I spent most of a day debating myself on whether there’s a missing scene, between Sabine getting stabbed and waking up in the hospital, where we see Ahsoka actually REACT. On one hand, Ahsoka would be upset, maybe we as the audience can fill in the gaps and we don’t need to spend time on it. On the other hand, maybe we do, tho? At the time I was thinking about how we haven’t seen Ahsoka truly emotionally vulnerable since TCW with the exception of “Shroud of Darkness” and maybe “Twilight of the Apprentice.” She has a very normal range of emotions, and she expresses them in very controlled ways, and I just wanna see what she looks like when that breaks down, ya know? What’s weird to me is that in ep4 when Ahsoka thinks Sabine is dead we do get this beat; she gets Real Mad there for a second. So maybe what we’re learning is it was a double beat and they should have cut the stabbing thing entirely I mean come on they had to have known they were gonna catch flack for that. Then again, having that moment shows the audience that Ahsoka does give a shit, more than she wants to admit and more than she typically shows Sabine, which is a fun compare/contrast with Anakin, and it might have given me a better understanding of the relationship if it had come earlier.
The other big beat is Sabine deciding to help the baddies. That is just such a devastatingly terrible decision. So bad, in fact, that I feel like we’re supposed to be drawing parallels to Anakin. Their whole “screw over the galaxy to save one person” thing. Except 1) Sabine is not Anakin and 2) in order for that to be interesting, Ahsoka needs more information than I think she has. She knows Padme died around the same time Anakin totally lost his shit, and that’s about it. Which is actually a fun little thought experiment: what assumptions does Ahsoka make about the causality there? The only people who could have given her more intel are Palpatine, Obi-Wan, and Vader – unlikely. So IF the show is about the lines between Anakin and Ahsoka and Sabine, Sabine’s choice here could be central to that, and crucially to Ahsoka’s understanding of that, except it’s just for the audience I guess?
I do really like that Ahsoka’s extremely chill about what Sabine did, though. Ahsoka “Eh Shit Happens” Tano. Somehow her lesson from all this is “masters support their apprentices literally no matter what. Citation: Mine did.” That’s an unhinged take and I expect nothing less from my blorbo.
WHICH IS WHY WE SHOULD HAVE AT LEAST GOTTEN A FLASHBACK TO THE SITUATION IN WHICH AHSOKA DIDN’T SUPPORT SABINE HRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH
I realize that I’m really tearing into this thing pretty much just for not being something it isn’t. Like, it’s not BAD. But maybe its weaknesses stem from not committing to being about any one thing. It’s kind of about intergenerational trauma, it’s kind of a Rebels Part Two, it’s kind of a Filoniverse installment, it’s kind of a worldbuilding exercise. And that’s not necessarily too much material for an 8-hour show. It’s more like the powers that be DECIDED that was too much material.

Weekly update March 22, 2024
I’m still exhausted beyond words. I’m also on a bit of a spiral where I’m worried about the quality of my art and about my output, but it’s okay because I’m chipping away at old big projects still and as soon as classwork is subsided I’m going to try to learn a new skill, because any time I feel insufficient I learn a new skill so I can be better. Classes have been kicking my ass mostly but hopefully big things will be coming sooner rather than later.
I’ve been doing a number of drawings to time myself and update my comms. Turns out I’m a lot less consistent than I thought so it’ll be a bit longer till I get prices sorted out but it’s coming along. Also good chance I’ll add more on to it later once I sort out more things I can offer. My usual drawing style will be the main one, but I’m hoping I can also add the epithet erased style, the chibi dnd mini style I do sometimes, options for backgrounds, and eventually also music.
Problem with music though has been my exhaustion. The only music stuff I’ve really been drilling at has been bigger projects, but I’d like to just sit down and do a small beat as well at some point. Once I catch up with classwork I might try. I have been chipping away at a couple instrumental pieces, as well as the larger vocal cover and I did some lyric writing today for the two ‘finished mostly’ ones I’ve been sitting on. I did have to scrap and redo a character theme for the second time this week but once I have some time with a clear mind I can reroute that one and use the melody I wrote for the last draft. In development right now are an ambient character theme, a 16bit-ish instrumental theme, a Zelda medley, a song cover with Kyo, a small gabber song with no affiliation to anything, the two original vocal songs, one symphonic rock and one EDM, and a handful of others that I haven’t been actively working on. As soon as I have significant time I’m going to try to finish off some of them.
Once the music is finished I’ll have to throw visuals together for them too. I really want to put in effort to make animation rigs again but I don’t have the time or energy. I might do one for the vocal cover song since I could be reusing the character but I’m not sure it’ll be necessary. Once the cover is done I’ll storyboard something and decide then.
Comic is also still going, I haven’t had a ton of time to do thumbnailing/writing, but I should be down to the last scene. No guarantee I won’t have to add more after editing, but it’s getting there. Once that’s done I’ll try to post roughs of specific panels so it’s a bit easier to keep track of where it’s at. The thumbnailing is a big bottleneck right now because it takes a lot of brain power but it’s almost done. If I get myself together this next week it should be done by the next update. No promises though, I have a lot of classwork.
Last couple things, a good amount of my exhaustion is the result of insomnia, but I’ve been using that time to plan out TTRPG campaign stuff. I think I have some really fun creative encounters. I think I probably will try to write it out and find a way to release it, just in the interest of getting more people to play the anime campaign system (or whatever they end up renaming it to when the epithet erased version of the rules drops… eventually). I might throw together art for that too, but that’ll be a ways off, after the writing and encounters are done. Plus ideally I’d want the module to be available for free, so I don’t need to add too much anyway.
Last thing, as I mentioned I’m a bit unsatisfied with where I am with art stuff. I want to thank everyone who has been sticking around, I am trying to make it worthwhile for you too. But whenever I am unsatisfied with myself I need to learn a new skill, so I may be dipping my toes into pixel art soon. I do have that 16bit ish instrumental song I mentioned, that’s been on the back burner since January but I’ve finally been hit with the inspiration to finish it, and a little pixel animation would be nice to go with it, but that would require me to learn pixel art itself first, so I’ll try to do that in the coming weeks. Idk how soon though.
This next week will be primarily dedicated to clearing up schoolwork and fixing my sleep problem. After that I’ll try finishing up that cover song, finishing up comic thumbnailing, and finishing up that instrumental song, in that order. Anything else is a bonus. Will class work and insomnia get in the way? Probably, but I’m still doing my best.

Welcome, one and all, to THE BEST TYPE-MOON COUPLE TOURNAMENT!
If you’re anything like me, then you either love Type-Moon’s work or you like it whenever you see a couple who love each other a lot. As you know, Type-Moon has a lot of couples spanning across all their works, so of course I thought to myself “who’s the BEST couple?”. And while there are many couples that are an amazing in their own rights, I wanted to know the most popular across the community. And thus, we reached this point.
So, starting now until Sunday, November 5th, 2023, I wanted you guys to send in contestants for who you believe to be the BEST Type-Moon couple, and I’ll put them into a tournament poll and see who wins from there.
If you’re looking for any rules and stuff for what qualifies, then please check the division below to see what is and isn’t allowed.
So, with that, submit your votes and check back on the 5th to see how everything plays out.
Alright, so let’s get started on what is and isn’t allowed for your submission:
The couple must be from a Type-Moon property. (This could be from Fate, Tsukihime, Garden of Sinners, Witch on the Holy Night, whatever, as long as it was published/associated with Type-Moon then it’s fair game)
Don’t include minors. (I don’t want to see any minors/children being submitted, even if they’re being shipped with other minors. They deserve better than to be dragged into what is essentially a huge ship war. For characters like F/SN Illya, we’ll probably have a poll later to see if stuff like that should be allowed)
Don’t include siblings or family members. (While step siblings are arguably qualified for this competition if the story actually allows it, I’m looking at you Shiki and Akiha, I’m barring full-on incest. If you submit two siblings and there’s no proof that this sort of thing is ok then they’ll be disqualified)
Make sure that the canon can support the pairing. (While couples are definitely supported in canon there could be pairings in the story that featured people who aren’t necessarily couples but could be seen as one much to the point where the story provides some proof that they could be a couple. As long as a reasonable argument can be made for a pairing with evidence from the original work then they can be submitted into the tournament. Unfortunately, this means that crack ships or ships with basically no evidence from the story can’t participate in this tournament)
Don’t be weird. (Seriously, I want to emphasize to not be gross. This is supposed to be fun and lighthearted, so I don’t want to see entries meant to raise conflicts or to disgust other people. I want this to be a place where people can talk about couples in a safe environment)
Promotions for couples during are allowed and encouraged. (Share the news to everyone, make propaganda if you want, it’s all in good fun anyways. Just keep it civil, friendly, and overall fun)
Rules can be added/changed if needed. (While I don’t necessarily want to do this if not necessary, I acknowledge that the rules provided now can’t encompass everything so they may be changed later if needed. Changes will be announced when it happens)
Now, as for what can qualify for a couple, we got a couple of requirements:
Must be an actual relationship in the story where both sides acknowledge and reciprocate each other’s feelings (of course, this has some leeway, but it most be consensual from both sides)
If a person has more than one option for a significant other, then I implore you to submit only one pair at a time (I’m not giving the visual novel protagonists their entire harem, I don’t think that’s fair)
If a relationship can work 100% guaranteed with more than 2 people and it’s acknowledged by the story, then I’ll allow it (polygamy is about consent, but the story has to acknowledge that the participants acknowledge it as polygamy first)
Try to keep it within Type-Moon. (dependent, while there’s definitely possibility that people, read: servants, had multiple wives/concubines/whatever during their lives, I won’t go after all of their spouses if they don’t even acknowledge them or they don’t even have sprites in anything. I’ll only go after them if they are acknowledged and have sprites, unless I can find a way to make it work)

Shirou x Saber x Rin x Sakura (Too many people and ultimately detracts from the purposes of the routes)
Altera x Kriemhild (I know there’s stories of Kriemhild and Attila getting together and other scenarios like that, but since F/GO doesn’t acknowledge it I can’t either)
Gunnar x Brynhild (Brynhild never mentioned Gunnar or even considers him as a partner, thus it isn’t allowed)
Kiso Yoshinaka x Yamabuki Gozen x Tomoe Gozen x Fuyuhime (Look, they’re all probably wonderful together, but since Yamabuki and Fuyuhime don’t have any sprites attached to them, I simply can’t allow it because I can’t give it the justice it deserves)
Allowed:
Shirou x Saber, Shirou x Rin, Shirou x Sakura (If you want to submit more than 1 couple then go ahead, just keep them separate unless you have proof that a polyamorous could work)
Siegfried x Kriemhild, Sigurd x Brynhild (As long as there’s love and they both acknowledge their feelings then it counts)
Odysseus x Penelope (If I can find sprites to represent spriteless characters, then I can do my best to include them)
Gilgamesh x Enkidu (An example of “They’re arguably a couple”)
Akiha x Kohaku (An example of “if you can scour enough evidence from the story to make a decent argument, then it’s allowed”)
When it comes to submissions you can put it in anyway you want, but I would prefer if you included:
Full Names (If possible)
Series of Origin (Include for both)
As for servants, you should include:
True Names
Place/Myth of Origin (Optional, include for all applicable parties)
Region of Origin (Optional, include for all applicable parties)

Shiki Tohno x Arcueid (Tsukihime)

If you don’t know if your submission fits these rules, then submit it anyways. The worst thing that could happen is your submission not appearing (that or a vague mention for future reference on what not to do)

I just threw myself down a costuming rabbit hole trying to figure out how exactly the tabards part of Jedi uniforms work. And now I am frustrated about the Jedi costumes functionally in general.
You would think there’s a simple answer: there is not.
First of all, the movies: okay so it’s clear that, like with many costumes, some bits are just basically an illusion for the camera. Never more clear is this than in the Under Tunic, in which only the visible sleeves and the collar actually are functionally part of the costume; everything else on the shirt is basically to hold these in place for the camera while not overheating the actor. Every cosplayer ever is basically just bullshitting what happens in that area after a certain point, but the general consensus seems to be “a shirt with a minimum 2″ thick collar that closes by folding left to right; fastening method is up to you (and maybe your guild).”
Okay fine, we can best guess that if we’re working with it in fic or art, but if we are looking to cosplay for help figuring it out, it’s not that simple. For example, if I were to consult the general standards as given by the Rebel Legion, the under tunic can’t be kimono, judo gi or karate gi styled - which is wild to me, btw, considering their own standards page reference links to a site which suggests ideal patterns in those styles and most of the visual shorthand from the movie costumes and the source of the Jedi’s inspiration suggests these as fairly strong matches, but I digress.
The tabards, basically, in the official costumes are largely bullshitted for camera reasons, with seams hidden under the belt, and if they’re tacked to the over tunic or the actor’s sewn in for the day, I wouldn’t be surprised in the least. Most everyone is bullshitting these in some way, but the consensus is that any seam has to be on the back, preferably hidden by the obi. Also if you’re trying to tack it to yourself, that better not be visible. I have seen tape, velcro and snaps - valid, I say, because I ran into a similar issue with the hooded Robin cape.
For fic and art though? I am really frustrated by them. You can’t tack them down in universe - it would not make sense. It’s stupid and I know I’m being stupid and pedantic about it but I want to know how it’d work if you took the costume element out of it and no one has. Should they be threaded through one part of the obi and secured by tying the obi? Is there a part of the tunic they feed through which is covered by the obi? Is there a cord or snaps securing them that we don’t see that should be there in universe? Should ones extend down also feed into a panel on the back or a skirt that matches the over tunic instead of just splitting? I HAVE FUCKING QUESTIONS.
The obi also frustrates me because, functionally, almost everyone just goes ahaha yeah it’s thicccc, must be thicker than the belt by an order of at least x proportional to your body, and if you decide to put in velcro or something make sure it’s hidden in the back. If you were in universe, would it be velcroed or would it be tied? If it’s a fabric obi, how do you tie it? Do you tuck the ends under in a specific way? If it’s supposed to be only the width of your waist and is not the length of an obi from Earth say, how then do you wear it - does it have tie drawstrings that should be tucked under, does it have hooks or eyelets? Is there meaning to how you tie it? Are there decorative knots for fancy events or different sects or branches of specialization?
Official movie costumes kinda goes Shrug because they’re not designed to be actually functional in any real-world sense: they’re designed to film and do stunts in. They’re a minefield of jury-rigging. And then you have Legends material, which is straight up artists going Rule of Cool, which I respect cause, well, at least they’re honest about it in that sense. Obviously, groups listing costume standards for cosplayers are no help here, since, let’s be real, they’re not gonna be experimenting with how these things should realistically function so much as how they fit the standards they’ve established. It’s all about the standard with them.
Anyway, I can’t stop sneezing and this stupid tabard shit is going to BOTHER me forever, I can feel it. Why is it always like this with costumes?? i’m just gonna have to bullshit something myself aren’t i

1062 Days
I had a pretty terrible doctor’s appointment yesterday and have been kind of cycling through a million feelings about it like some kind of unhinged unicycle. (No, I cannot ride a unicycle.) Anyway, if you missed yesterday’s panic posting, the pain people kind of went “oh well” and shoved me off to the MMJ people, which is fine, except costly and not covered by insurance and I am broke. I did receive a Ko-Fi donation that should theoretically cover a chunk of whatever the appointment costs and the amount of relief I am feeling right now is enormous, so thank you, anon donor. One way or another I’m going to figure this out, which is far more hope than I had when I started today. I woke up, wide awake, at 6 am this morning, having a panic attack because I felt like I’d just been condemned to a life of never being able to do or experience anything ever again, but now I feel like there’s a chance.
We’ve been driving back and forth to a city about an hour away to deal with all of this stuff because there seem to be a lot more specialists there (it’s through a university hospital, which has been a really good experience primarily, except for the pain people? wtf) and an hour isn’t that bad in the scheme of things. Anyway, it gives me way too much time to think, and after yesterday I started counting days since all of this started going downhill for me (thank you Siri for doing the math) and yesterday it was 1061 days. Today it’s 1062. I’m just flabbergasted that it’s been that many days and I’m just supposed to go home and make dinner and pretend everything is fine. This is how my brain works: I want to put data to things, I want to turn that into a visualization because I feel like no one ever understands the words coming out of my mouth. I’m thinking about making some kind of animated visualization of how much time that is, how much loss it is over time, because that’s how I process I guess. Or maybe some kind of video essay about it. I don’t think people who aren’t directly experiencing (or living with/caring for/close friends with) chronic pain really understand what a grieving process it is. I feel like I have no sense of time anymore, because all the days are pain.
Anyway.
Doing a read more here for some slightly unpleasant-er medical stuff, so please check the tags if you think it may bother you to read.
This week is a gauntlet of multiple things because it’s just how it fell. If you are lucky enough (and I hope you are) that you aren’t dealing with medical stuff on a regular basis, you might not know how overtaxed everyone is now and how ridiculously hard it is to get an appointment anywhere, for anything. A while ago we made a rule around here to not schedule back to back appointment days because it’s really physically demanding for me, but when you have no choice but to schedule things months out…sometimes you don’t get a choice, and it’s awful. I’m paying for it today after two days of this, in stress and physical testing and sitting in a car for long stretches. Anyway, that sucks.
But at least today was a much more positive experience than yesterday, in a number of ways. Somehow in this entire year of tests and visits and drugs and whatever, this is somehow the very first time I’m actually seeing a neurologist, which was pretty interesting and revealing. In this whole time no one has noticed how flimsy my ankles are, and somehow I never think to talk about it because I just basically walk on eggshells all the time trying not to injure myself by…walking. But today it got noticed, and maybe that’s something I can press someone to do something about. Before my health turned into a flaming car wreck I used to run marathons and I do not know how I did this. I feel like I got away with something I shouldn’t have.
So one of the most interesting bits of today, which relates to some past stuff I’ve written about and haven’t talked about more because it’s all kinda in flux still, is even more genetic testing. The first one was a whole panel looking for connective tissue disorders (spoiler alert: they found something weird, it’s just not what anyone expected, and I get to talk to somebody and find out more next year lol) and now we’re checking out a different but more specific gene for a type of muscular dystrophy, which might also explain some of the issues I have. Essentially: I’m a huge mess and my body is crumbling and it would probably be prudent to start weeding out which problems are caused by which weirdness. Exciting! I got to talk it out with a genetic counselor (again) and a student, which was cool, because I like being able to contribute some of my weird physiology to their knowledge so hopefully they can help somebody else like me in the future. I got to opt-in to putting my genes up for (anonymized) research, which I was also pretty excited about because I’ve got the weird in me and hopefully it can help somebody. I like chatting with folks like this, I am enthusiastic about research and improving treatments and it’s nice to feel like I’m contributing something from this whole mess. Genetics as a whole is really interesting to me, I’ve been reading a ton on it since my first outing getting tested and there’s so much possibility for improving peoples’ lives if we just knew a little bit more. In another life, where I’m not squeamish about blood and am good at math, I like to think I’d have gotten into genetics. I have feelings about it.
The cool part of this is they were able to do the testing right on the spot this time. I still have to wait a while on results, but I didn’t have to go through any approvals or waiting for test kits or anything. No, instead I just got stabbed several times for blood. I used to be petrified of needles and I still feel pretty bleh about it but I guess that’s the equivalent of exposure therapy or something. The poor nurse today was not a good needler but she was really nice and tried really hard so I can’t be upset about it. I did get stuck in the dang hand, though, which is my absolute least favorite place to get stabbed. Ugh. Weirdly, my opposite hand is also aching like ME TOO and I’m like NO, NOT “YOU TOO” but here we are. At the beginning of the year I started keeping a needle count for myself because somehow it helps mentally to know how many times I’ve done this, and so as of today it’s 22 for the year but it’s probably going to be more before 2024. Getting over it has made me start thinking about getting a tattoo someday, though. I know it’s a different process and sensation probably, but it was always the stabby bit that put me off in the past. I want to get my cat’s paw prints done on my leg, in the spot where he used to put his feet when he sat with me while I was having a bad pain day. One day I’ll get there.
Anyway, I feel like I learned a lot today and got to sign off on contributing a little of myself to science, which is a good feeling. And it was really nice to deal with people who were actually compassionate as well as excited about their work. Makes up a little bit for the bad day I had yesterday.

Tori: Yaaay~...
Tsukasa: Clap, clap clap...
Hiyori: Aw, come on! You young kids should follow Eichi-kun’s example! Act like idiots and make some noise!
“Clamming” is an event where you blow off all that gloomy steam that’s been building up all year, after all!
Restricting yourself to acting like a well-behaved goody little two-shoes is the wrong answer, this time! Ahahaha! ☆
Tsukasa: I don’t think I’m able to keep up with your level of Excitement, onii-samas.
Tori: Same here. But, you know, there’s no way Eichi-sama and the rest are doing something wrong. Even if it looks like they’re just acting like idiots right in front of everyone, there’s definitely a deeper meaning to it—
Tsukasa: Yes. I believe that as well. Though, I’ve already thrown a bit of an unreasonable tantrum because I absolutely refuse to crossdress, so I’d say that I’m somewhat hesitant to voice any additional complaints.
Eichi: Well, it doesn’t really matter what clothes you wear. The important part is that, during “clamming,” we’re stripped of any and all “status.”
Everyone dressing like servants doesn’t have an actual purpose outside of making the premise visually understandable.
Wearing clothes you aren’t used to makes it hard to move around, and in this case it might actually be dangerous.
Tori: Wh-what do you mean? Are we going to be doing something risky? What even is “clamming”...?
Eichi: Fufu. As this is the first time the children will be participating, allow me to formally explain the rules of “clamming.”
To put it simply, “clamming” is a somewhat unique survival game.
It’s a game of make-believe. A hunting game, so to speak? No, it might be easier to understand if I present it as a game of tag.
Tori: ..........?
Hiyori: Just like always, Eichi-kun’s “easy to understand” isn’t easy at all!

Anyway, “clamming” starts off by using a objectively fair lottery to divide the participants into the “hunters” and the “hunted.”
Depending on which side you’re sorted into, the actions you’ll take change.
Incidentally, there’s a difference in the number of “hunters” versus “hunted” - generally, it's a 1:9 ratio. The “hunters,” in the minority, will be chasing after the “hunted,” in the majority.
Inside the fortune cookies that got handed out at the party venue earlier, there were little slips of washi paper with words written on them, right?
If the slip of paper was red, with “fisherman” written on it, then you were assigned to the “hunters” side. If it was blue, with “fish” written on it, then you’re on the “hunted” side.
Tsukasa: Let’s see... ah, I have a red paper with “fisherman” written on it, so I’ll be on the side of the “hunters.”
Eichi: Wow, congratulations! Like I said earlier, the probability of being assigned to the “hunters” side is about 10%, so you’ve got pretty good luck— Tsukasa-kun. ♪
Tori: Snrk. Tsukasa, doesn’t this mean you’ve already used up all the luck you’re getting this year?
By the way, my paper’s blue and says “fish,” so I’m on the “hunted” side, right?
Hiyori: I’m also on the “hunted” side! We’re the same, Tori-kun! ♪
Tori: Ah, yes! I still don’t really get it, but I’m super happy to match with Hiyori-sama~
Eichi: ...When did the two of you get so close?
Well, let’s leave it at that. The “hunted (fish)” can run around this area freely for a certain amount of time.
Basically, the only thing the “fish” can do is run around.
Tori: Wow, it really is like a game of tag... Um, so if I get tagged– er, caught by the fisherman, does that mean I lose?
Eichi: No. You lose if the “hunter (fisherman)” kills you.

Tori: K-kills...?
Hiyori: Wait, what? I don’t know the details either, but is “clamming” like one of those death game things that are popular in movies and stuff?
Eichi: Of course, you won’t actually be killed. It’s just that the “fisherman” is provided with two weapons at the same time the chase begins.
A gun, and a sword.
The gun is handy for long-distance attacks, but it only holds ten bullets. Reloading is also prohibited.
It’s something like a water pistol that fires paint, so it’s not like it’ll hurt if you get hit.
And the swords are like the ones used for mock swordfights. [1] They’re made out of a sponge-like material, so they’re safe.
But, if you’re shot with the gun or hit with the sword, you’re “dead.”
It’s self-moderated, but anyone who’s killed has to obediently resign from the game and return to the mansion.
Unlike a game like Cops and Robbers, there’s no comeback for the losers. That should be obvious - they’re dead, after all.
In the end, when the “fish” have been hunted to extinction, it’s a victory for the “fishermen”.
If even one person on the “fish” side survives, then it’s a draw.
Hiyori: With rules like that, there must have been a lot of draws so far, huh.
If you decide on winners and losers, somebody’s going to end up holding a grudge, so it’s not really fitting for something that’s supposed to be light entertainment like this.
By the way, is there no way for the “fish” to win? It kind of feels like, even if one person’s still alive, they can only hope to force a draw.
Eichi: No, there is. The “fishermen” have to designate one among them as their general— their “king.”

Tsukasa: Their “king?”
Eichi: Yep. Even though the “fish” die easily and have no choice but to run away— they’re able to kill the “king,” and only the “king.”
If a “fish” touches the “king’s” body, the “king” dies.
If the “king” dies, it’s victory for the “fish.”
Tsukasa: I see... So it’s necessary for us, the “fishermen,” to be sure to escort the “king” so that the “fish” cannot get near them?
Eichi: That’s true, but there aren’t that many “fishermen,” so you have to consider how many you can spare to use exclusively for defense.
Keep too many from hunting, and you won’t be able to get all the “fish.” Since you only win when all the “fish” are eliminated, you might not be able to meet the victory condition.
Tsukasa: Hm... As you’ll need to keep in mind how to distribute your limited number of personnel, as well as what moves to make, it’s almost like a strategy used for Chess would be necessary. This is a surprisingly deep game. ♪
Tori: Nn~ In short, isn’t it just a really complicated game of tag?
Eichi: You’re not wrong. For wealthy and high-ranking people like us, this kind of simple game can be novel and interesting entertainment.
Tori: Yeah, I feel like I can kinda get that... Manga and other stuff that commoners use to entertain themselves are all pretty interesting.
But, hm~mm... tag, huh... We high-class nobles got together in the middle of the night just to play tag?
Originally スポーツチャンバラ, or “sports chanbara.” Chanbara basically means “sword fighting,” and is the word used for movies that are usually called something like “samurai cinema” in English - movies with a lot of sword fights, essentially. Sports chanbara is... swordfighting for sport, using airsoft weapons. It has tournaments and everything.

Good morning friend!
I’ve been taking a lot of big steps internally as of late…so many fears and anxieties that have built up, times have been…rough…but, one of the big ones is minting…publishing, pushing out the work I do…I think I got into the mindset that everything I have to do has to be scheduled and established, weekly monthly daily ahhh, rules to be confined to. The idea of build of via marketing, building momentum, all the ideas that I though would work for me, when I forgot that the things that had given me my momentum was just me throwing out whatever whenever was on my head, the daily breathing in and out of art that I do…these new ‘good ideas and routines’ for minting and marketing just never seemed to work. Build ups have been endless fizzles…so, fuck it, more stream of mind again. Lean into the wind that is me… and I’ve got a lot of stuff to catch up on.

In the past I minted endlessly the daily projects I did, the relaxing doodles, the fun sketches, the bits of color beneath the surface of trying to be perfect, fit a mold. Then…I stopped…I think it might have been my systems overload project on KO that switched a bunch of habits in my head…I mean, 14 weeks straight of scheduled drops, 9 different collaborators, Spaces, being featured on the markets big Drops twice, and always hitting their front page, 4k views, building a metaverse gallery custom built by a friend, but…kind of a wet firecracker overall biz wise. Some collectors but, felt like a giant shrug. Everyone who came to the set loved it, people who collaborated had a blast, but…I don’t know, felt too staged, something felt right but also very wrong…

So, I’m gonna succumb to the creative wtf nots and see what happens for a while. I feel like I’ve only scratched the surface of a lot, and if I go back to something that worked both creatively and internally…chaos of just swimming in it all…

And that’s why minting these instead of just endlessly thinking about it until it begins a nasty weight in the back of my head and letting it be the joy that it should be is important to me :)

Now I just gotta keep doing this and hope it works Lolol.
The pieces are each bit and pieces of ideas floating through my head, colors just the vibes I feel for the day. Automatic drawing practice the basic s curves, c curves, and straight lines, trying to make shapes I find visually pleasing. Relaxing my mind by just popping it all out there in the code that is my colors lines shapes, whatnot, lol. There’s a dialogue that goes on in my head as these come out, but those are for me alone, lol. Fun thing is that these seem to be an evolution of some practices and similar outpourings years ago that I did with different sized colored boxes which I lined up into interesting grids n stuff…have to find a pic of those somewhere(found)

If this upsets you in anyway I’m sorry but I feel that literally everyone needs to hear this especially our younger generation of fandom users who may not exactly know how to go about being in a fandom yet. And I will be generalizing fandom here this is not just my fandoms this is all fandoms. So I’m not targeting any one fandom. No specific fandom is bad so I don’t want a war in the comments. This is all fandom that needs to change.
So let’s start with the big topic here. Inclusivity. Now you may be wondering what I mean by this term. And while I mean the inclusivity of the variety of content that the fandom allows people to celebrate and enjoy in their own ways I also mean the inclusivity of the people themselves by being aware of the bullying problem fandom is faced with. There have been far too many times I have witnessed in multiple fandoms people singled out for their likes, being called out for their “problematic” choice in character’s or interests, or even just their mannerisms and they become shunned or worse bullied mercilessly until they either leave that fandom or worse. Without inclusivity a fandom is nothing.
Privacy in fandom. Guys. This is mostly for my younger fandom users but all I have to say is. Please be aware that the internet is a dangerous and scary place. It does feel safe here sometimes. But you should never give away your personal information EVER on the internet. The rule is always: Nothing you’d never give a stranger on the street. So, never give away where you live. Never give away your phone number. Never your social security number. Never real name. Not even your diagnosis if your not comfortable. I’m only saying the diagnosis because people can and will use that against you.
Fan art prices. Guys. Fan artists are literally the life blood of most of our fandoms they create visual content for us to see for very little to no money at all on their end. When you commission an artist you are not only buying a one of a kind piece of art but your helping and supporting your favorite artist by saying I like your work. With the prices of life escalating as they are it is understandable that some fan artists have had to raise their prices or even take a hiatus from their art recently in order to try to make ends meet in other ways. Please respect them for the work they do as it often takes hours or days to complete a single sketch.
In the same vein. Fanficion writers deserve more love too imo. There are times we spend weeks even months writing out a plot only to have 200 people see our work and maybe 1 person comment. But still our heart sings when we see that one person comment. So please send some love to the artists of your community. You should never feel pressured to purchase anything but even liking and commenting is a huge help.

Okay, first off, congratulations on your LICENSE! That's amazing!!!!
As a fellow-waited-for-years-and-years girlie who is super anxious about it, can I ask: how did you get ready? How did it go? Do you think you'll feel confident driving by yourself now? I always feel like even if I get my license, it will take me a while to feel comfortable driving on my own.
HELLO! And thank you so much 😭 I know how it feels so I’ll be as in-depth as I can be!:
My state has a driving skills study guide available online, look around and see if your area has something similar. At least in my guide, there’s a diagram showing you the exact parking maneuvers you’ll have to do before you get on the road. GET SOME SAFETY CONES AND/OR REFLECTIVE DRIVEWAY MARKERS (I’d recommend 4) and a tape measure and copy the distances from your guide to practice with. What helped me a lot were VISUAL CUES (ex. when the driveway marker reaches the middle of my back side window, I’m ready to start parallel parking). These will be different depending on your car, but this video gave me a great starting place.
For the road portion you really just have to familiarize yourself with a lot of different situations. I’m assuming you have a permit to practice with but if you don’t, get one! (If you need one in your area ofc.) If you aren’t familiar with the general road rules, this site has some quizzes I’ve relied on a LOT. Start with neighborhoods and backroads and work your way up. I hate four way stops so I forced myself to practice four way stops a few times 😮‍💨
If you’re iffy about expressways, find a driving test location that’s more rural—the traffic should be less heavy (look up when traffic is lightest and try to schedule your test in that window) and they might just take you on 55 mph roads. I chose a place that other people I know had gone to so I was confident there weren’t any intense roads on the route.
Drive through the area you’ll be testing in a few times to familiarize yourself with it. I’d pass right by the testing place so I could see what their parking setup was (DON’T pull in/practice there though).
Get in the habit of making your mirror checks REALLY obvious so the examiner will know you’re looking. If you have long hair, wear it up. You want to move your head/chin not just your eyes. Quickly look both ways when you pass side roads, trails, and railroad tracks (it’s also good to slow down a little for railroad tracks, if there’s a yield sign you’ll HAVE to).
Also make sure to make a full stop BEFORE stop signs, a lot of people don’t irl but you’ll need to for your test lol.
So for my test I had to do three parking maneuvers: stopping within 2 feet of a line, backing into a parking space, and parallel parking. This only took a few minutes and I was good with everything except the line stopping! (I was too far back. Everyone I’ve talked to also struggled with that part, it seems easy but I’d practice it if I were you!) I passed that part so I was able to go on the road: this part took about 40 minutes and they had me go through a town, neighborhood, and 55 mph road (that was the longest stretch but it was mostly just going straight!) And my only notes for that were that I should make sure I’m slowed down to the speed on the speed limit sign by the time I pass it (I thought it was AFTER you passed).
I haven’t driven alone yet so I do expect to be nervous about that still, but that goes for any “first”! Your instructor can’t give you any corrections as you drive so if you’ve passed your test, you’ve already proven you can drive without intervention. What I plan on doing is easing myself into it by going somewhere just up the road first and then any areas I’ve practiced in a lot!

when I was in high school, I got accepted through an exam to a Philosophy course in Uni. that’s when I was only 14 years old. the course would prep you for entry in Uni if 18 but I decided to take it much sooner because I can, my mind’s ahead of yours so 🙄
anyway but when I was 14 I didn’t really get a chance to learn the entire group of itineraries that are possible to take using the transport system in Bucharest, so because I was but in the beginning of that (though now it almost seems like I’ve got a sixth sense but I’m just making the streets mind-wise as I walk on them) I couldn’t find the Uni to take the exam on time.
so I was a little late but outside of the exam amphitheater was the Logic teacher: an old, slim, Socrates-looking guy beard-wise but without wrinkles who clearly didn’t eat a ton but spoke and ranted a lot.
he was known for being charming and anecdote-prone when doing his Logic lessons
but as I’m explaining that I’m late and it was kinda obvious I ran there, he put his hand on my lower back instinctively as if to comfort me - he didn’t exactly know my age either just yet…
and then you could tell how tiny my back is too
but the face in that period, for whatever reason, had a more mature appearance from what I gather from people telling me that. I had a white jacket in that period and it made me look much older somehow
I asked a girl in the Bucharest equivalent of the tube how old does she think I am (when I was going to Uni)? she said: “honestly? 18”
and then my cousin with his godfather didn’t recognise me on the bus with my back turned with that jacket on and they thought I was an older girl and then eventually they saw me
that was around 13 - 14!
so needless to say he didn’t know how old I was when touching me 😅

then I’m allowed in the exam cause he’s running the thing after all so it’s his rules
I finish explaining everything related to the logical statements and the philosophical essay so I get in, obviously
and so I can attend where I really learn what it’s like to cater to a lecturer’s constant talking/ranting whims, in order to acquire all the knowledge - according to 18 years olds there 🙄

With the release of Definitive Edition, this already incredible game received much better modding capabilities which keep growing, with more and more next-level mods appearing. DOS 2 is now in the golden era of its modding and currently has over mods available - but that's already pretty high number, and not everyone may have time to scout through all the mods, see which are working properly and which are not, which from similar mods are up-to-date and which are obsolete, check for compatibility etc. Here's where this project offers you to save your time and simply pick the best mods from ones already picked between the total amount. The guide will be interesting to everyone regardless of experience. Are you about to try this game for the first time? Your first walkthrough, just better! Are you an experienced Divinity player and looking for something new to improve and expand your game? Everything is here. Played with mods already? You'll definitely find a few ones that you didn't know about within this list of over qualitative mods. Important: please read the F. Also feel free to join our Discord for DOS 2 and modding related chatting. Version: update 2. Improved a few descriptions. For the changelog of the update 2. This project is completely free. Still, it takes insane amount of my time to build and expand it - the modding guides and other related modding content already took me over working hours in total. The more independent I will fee myself as an author - the less stress and more free time I'll have - and so, the faster new updates and modules will arrive, and new projects will appear as well. But support only if you really want it and able to:. Essential things required for many great mods and some additional recommendations. Do not skip this section. First of all - how to activate and manage load order of your mods in game? Literally just a two clicks matter. After you've added the mods via Steam Workshop or installed manually for GOG version, explained below , you need to activate them. Launch the game and, in main menu, click on "Mods" button as shown here. There you'll see the list of all mods you have installed. In this menu as shown here , to the right you will see check marks 1 which mean is mod active or inactive. To the left 2 you will see the load order in form of an ordered list. The rule here is simple - mods below have bigger load priority. This means core mods like libraries and base mods should be usually placed high in the load order, other mods below them, and if you have some mods that can interfere in their features list, place mod you want to take over lower in the load order, which results in bigger priority. And one more thing: if you've enjoyed the mod, don't forget to spare a few moments and rate it up Steam or endorse Nexus Mods - it's only a seconds of your time, but helps good mods to be better recognized by other players and shows authors their mods are useful to the community. Better textures and fx visuals, more options for character creation, changed look of characters and armors, different look for main menu, equipment appearance change and few others. Supporting category of mods for various things which won't affect balance, but will save your time, fix possible bugs and just make your life in game more comfortable. Mods to change enemies add new abilities, rebalance attributes, improve AI or add new encounters regular enemies, new bosses etc - in other words, usually used to make game more challenging. To use them or not is totally up to you - just not recommended to until you have finished game on Tactician difficulty once, or played at least till Arx. This section doesn't contain a lot of mods, but each of them is an immense creation which adds a lot to the game content or even overhauls the gameplay completely - while sticking to common sense and high joy levels. Some of mods here are big content addons which can be generally used with many other mods, and some are whole-game overhauls which will make you explore the game like the first time and bring playing DOS 2 to a brand new level. Experienced players will find this section especially interesting. Now, 3 mods which can be easily called "whole game overhauls" - they affect many different aspects of the game and change the gameplay heavily. If using any of them, make sure to use only 1 - don't use them together. Class mods can be compatible or not compatible on different extent - there's no universal answer here while I've provided some notes below. Yet, even while there are some compatibility-related moments, any from these projects is a great mod which can give you a lot of joy and massively refreshed DOS 2 experience. Each one is different - read brief descriptions below, read mod pages and choose one you like the most personally. Class mods are often the favourite mod type for many players - and that totally makes sense. Good class mods is what make you play game again and again due to new character and party builds, which directly means better replayability. In most of cases, these mods make your character stronger on different extend, compared to vanilla game - so it's recommended to use class mods with some enemy-empowering mods. But ofc, it's up to you in the end. Now, more "serious" mods - they add various amount of new skills - with these ones, any vanilla class may turn into something new. Note: For balance and common sense sake, use only one overhaul for certain class, otherwise you'll be just overwhelmed with tons of skills, often becoming plainly overpowered or just having identical skills for no reason. Odinblade mods to overhaul existing classes and add many new skills as well. These mods are incredibly versatile, which means that you can be a tank with water skills, or blazing knight - no directly a pure mage yet a hybrid class with own style. Read the mod pages to see which playstyles each mod adds. Mods are available to overhaul:. Mods in this section are all about innovations and new experience - brand new classes with unique skills and playstyles, or just skill packs with plenty of new skills for you to choose from. Dive in! First of all, if you want to rectuit companions with the class mods you have, grab this neat mod:. Helaene new classes. Read the mod pages to see what kind of playstyle each mod adds. Heaphaistos new classes. Odinblade new classes. The last 3 mods below can look great for many players, but they can be also ridiculously overpowered in most of cases, so it's recommended to play it with hardcore enemy mods setup and on hardest difficulty. Now, several other mods which are not directly adding a spesific class, but rather being a skill packs which you can use up to your taste - alone or in addition to other class mods. They differ in size and can add tons of new skills as well as only a few ones or make expansions to existing skills. Plenty of different mods for various things here and there - mods which don't certainly fall under one scrict category, situational or "matter of tastes" ones. Here you may find various useful additions and maybe even some essential mods, depending on your current setup and playstyle. Several great difficulty-increasing mods from the same author. They are not for everyone and are highly subjective, but are simple and fits the vision of hardcore-like setup greatly. Various mods which allows you to experience different adventures - new quests added to original game and standalone projects - from a simple map mod with enemies to fight with, to a complex mods with multiple worldspaces, stories and quests, new races and skills. Also, don't be afraid of such mods often not having 5 stars ratings or enough ratings at all - this is simply a not mass-popular mod category, so low amount of ratings doesn't mean the mod is bad - if you found something interesting, try it yourself. Also [always read the mod page carefully] as due to having own design and often being realy big in size, these mods require some other mods to work properly, or have certain ingame conditions you should stick to. It will be expanded gradually. Various promising projects which are playable yet not finished yet, or only in early development stage - to keep your hand on pulse. Mods which can be considered cheating or pretty arguable in terms of balance. Some of them though, may be great for testing or balancing the game with sort of masochistic hardcore mod setups. It's all up to you, after all :. Some mods that should be mentioned due to being great or having good potential, but unstable in some aspect - not properly working with latest game version, causing occasional crashes etc. Maybe they will be fixes in future, and this is what the section is for - to keep them in mind if you like them. Some people are still modding classic version, because it still has more mods in certain segments, but the thing is DE has much better modding potential - more and more next-level mods appear on the stage only for DE, and even if DE still don't have some mod you loved ported to it, it usually should have an alternative and often better one. With the flow of time, DE modding stage will only grow and that's the definitive version to go for modding. And if you're against certain balance changes which Larian made in DE like nerfing Lone Wolf, for example - usually there are mods to change that up to your taste. A: Steam version is strongly recommended for modding, for two reasons. Secondly, installing mods via Steam is easier than to sneeze and faster than to blink - you simply click "Subscribe" at the mod page as shown here and mod is already added to your game, waiting for being activated. For GOG version, you will need to install mods manually it's not hard at all, but still will require more time as you can guess. Tldr - if you have game in Steam - great. Already have it in GOG - it's not a sentence, but modding will be more limited and require more time. Still, the guide has a Nexus Mods links for each mod that has nexus version, in addition to Steam Workshop links. A: Well you technically can ofc, but there's simply no reason for that - so no. This is a guide with over mods picked from 2k existing on the stage atm - a roadmap with suggestions and instructions, divided into sections. There are section like Preparations or Essential mods - there you can and basically should grab everything. As for other sections, simply go down the list without a rush, and pick what looks interesting to you. If that's your first walkthrough with mods - don't pick too many, as you can simply end being overwhelmed by amount of new things in the game. Don't rush - and you'll ascend :. Q: Can I install mods in midgame on existing save or new game is a hard requirement? Can I uninstall mods in midgame? A: Installing: depends. As for the complex mods which change game heavily, bring a lot of new content etc - new game is strongly recommended. Uninstalling: here, it's generally not recommended to uninstall mods on existing save. Best practice is to install all mods you're planning to take for this walkthrough and make a test run for couple of hours. See what you like, what don't, adjust the mod list and then start a new game. Q: Do mods affect performance or loading times? Mods which contain HD textures may eat a couple of fps, but if you're able to play DOS 2 at least on medium settings - you won't see any noticeable FPS hit. After that, loading times shouldn't be affected in mose of cases. A: In-depth yet easy to understand article here , give it a read. A: Larian made definitely a nice additions via some of them, sometimes carrying popular mods ideas from the community. While it's totally up to you if to use any of them or not, sometimes they me be not compatible with similar mods, which points to the next moment - most of if not all features existing in Gift Bags are available via existing mods. Generally, it's not recommended to use Gift Bags in first turn but once again, it's up to you ofc - just put simple attention to mods you're using - if you have a mod which has same effect as Gift Bag does, use only one and you'll be fine. It's really fresh so atm there are no guaratnees gameplay-changing mods will work perfectly with it. It also auto-enables itself, unlike other gift bags where you have the choice - but it happens only when you start a new game, so existing saves are safe. More information coming soon. Q: I have the game in language other than English, is it a problem? A: English version is strongly recommended for modding due to it's not quite possible to predict how each of mods will work on localized game version. Some mods have translations, some work just fine - but in the end, troubleshooting will be on your shoulders in case of issues due to localization. Required for many popular mods or simply improves feature list and performance for some others. That's it. LeaderLib A library made by LaughingLeader - also required for many mods, providing ingame configuration menus and some other features. Steam installation - as usually. GOG installation - download the archive, unzip it, place the. Note: This directory is default for mods installation in general, so for most of other manual mod installation instructions, when you will see "default manual installation" or see no instructions at all , it will mean the same procedure and same directory, unless the specific instructions are given. Organize your mod load order by intuitive drag-and-drop without launching the game, filter mods by properties, view mod's Steam Workshop page, save your load order to share with friends - all that in a single comfy tool. Plus dark theme support : It's very intuitive in usage - read the page for more detailed instructions. While it works just fine for DOS 2 in most of cases, I sadly won't be able to provide any troubleshooting support regarded this service. Mods not showing in game Steam? An explanation and possible solution for situation where some of your Steam Workshop mods are not showing up in the game. Toggle Sprint No more boring walking when exploring or moving between point A and point B. Also has ingame menu where you can configure sprint speed for yourself, enemies once again, doesn't affect combat movement itself, only animation speed , and even climb speed. GOG link - default manual installation. Let There Be Tooltips! Displays missing world tooltips for over objects, including: crates, barrels, ingredients, junk, and some corpses. If you can pick it up, move it, or search its contents, you can now see what it is when pressing Alt. More Character Colors Simple as that. More colors for better character customization. Bartering Tweaks Allows to share the highest Barter and Persuasion bonuses among the party while trading, allowing shared discounts for all. Configurable via ingame menu. Auto Identify Mod name is a bit confusing - it doesn't add any cheat functions. Mod allows unidentified items will be automatically identified without an Identifying Glass when anyone in your party has Loremaster 5 or higher. Practically, Loremaster 5 now has a passive effect that makes investing civil points there worth it. Happily Emmie After Yup! You now have a chance to give Buddy and Emmie an actually happy ending. Better Sir Lora Improves the brave yet retarded squirrel knight giving him higher chances to survive random hazards in battles, and avoid traps. No more. Tell the cat to follow someone else, make him a permanent battle pet and even a pettle whistle - after obtaining the kitty and his collar, you get a pet whistle which you can use to signal your location. If they're alive, both the Black Cat and Sir Lora will find their way back to you. Citizens of Divinity Mod adds 10 original characters around the world that you can find over the course of the main quest - each with own backstory and topics to discuss. Some are hidden away, some of them blend into the crowd but all of them have been designed to slot into the world and provide more role-playing opportunities. Improved Gwydian Rince Better skillset and AI for Hannag's pupil to help him not perish during the combat via most silly ways. More Waypoint Locations Simple and useful - few more waypoints locations in all story arcs. This allows you to better navigate in locations with a large number of different containers - you can visually see which containers you have already examined. Shadowblade, Metamorph have fewer attribute points than expected. How to install without confusion: create a new folder somewhere. Download the main file "HQ World 1v2" and all 3 update files into this folder. You now should have 4 archives. First, extract "HQ World 1v2" one. Good job! Mod also works if installed in midgame on existing save. Better Clouds Better visuals for clouds of all types. Works if installed in midgame. Wildfire Works if installed in midgame. Choose this mod or the one below. Steam Workshop link above leads to a purplse version - and the green one is here , choose one you prefer. GOG link - default manual installation both version to choose from are available in the Files tab. Choose this mod or the one above. No longer do character light up the darkness with strange glowing! Better Item Borders Also has version for colorblind. Character Creation Plus Mod adds tons of new options to all races and genders for vastly diversified character creator options amount. Use one or another. God King Menu Changes the Divine statue and background in main menu. Demon Race Adds the Demon race as playable race with own racial skill. Armored Demon Race The same but more badass - requires this. Human Sebille Changes Sebille look to human. Rendal's NPC Armors and Weapons Allows player characters to get NPC exclusive or otherwise unique visuals, by applying the visuals to equipped items or spawning them as loot. Also includes armor dyes. Vanity Changes the appearance of equipped items on any character to whatever you wish on the fly - no longer do you have to choose equipment stats over appearance. Read the mod usage instructions carefully on the mod page. Mod also works fine with Epic Encounters. Works for undead elves as well. No Weapon Warning Probably may look somewhat unimmersive for some players, but needed for others. Disables NPCs warnings about having your weapon drawn when you go to talk to them. This allows you to talk to any NPC while your weapon is unsheathed. Public Anvils All anvils are now public allowing players to use them without losing favor with npcs. Torch mod A simple mod that makes you able to craft and use torches as light source. You can throw the torch on a surface to ignite it. There's also a spell to light staves for mages. Also offers a variety of bug fixes for the new content. Quest Fix - Spider's Kiss Mod may be needed for MP multiplayer only - it sets missing flag that allows characters to get the Spider's Kiss after another character was already kissed. This flag is normally set per-user, so characters in multiplayer were unable to get kissed, unless they met other requirements. Same as mod above, you will not need it until you have mods that can modify this area. Also currently, there is no easy way to change your dual wield setup easily from the skillbar, which changes with this mod. Driftwood - No Annoying Child in the Ambient Sound Removes the child sounds from 'ambient' town chatter in Driftwood which may or may not annoy some players. If there's no "Sound" folder, just create one and put file in it. Unless you run full parties of avatars MP characters , companions and other NPCs will interrupt voiced reflection dialogues by the preceding player. A bunch of unique recordings won't ever be heard by most players. This mod fixes it. Do you wish they'd stop blurting out that they're ready? Enemy Upgrade Overhaul Your to-go mod if you want to make combat more challenging and unpredictable - mod introduces a randomized system for buffing enemies, allowing for more challenging encounters with weighted, randomized upgrades, and a chance of bonus treasure depending on how tough the enemy becomes. Summoner Boss Challenger Pack One more great boss mod which features summoner bosses and ofc a rewarding loot. Placed NPCs fit seamlessly into the game. Extra Enemies For Fun Currently seven now bosses placed in the game world which you can challenge to test your powers. They drop loot, but don't give XP, which keeps character level progression balanced. Tougher Bosses 2x Does how it's named - doubles the health and armors of all bosses in the game. Tougher Bosses 5x Same feature, but now x5 - this is mostly for masochists or those playing with clearly overpowered class mods. Harder Final Boss Really neat mod which changes the final bossfight in the game which is by any means is not easy itself , making it much harder. If you don't want spoilers - better don't read the mod description and just keep this surprise till the time comes. Divine Scaling Scales all enemies in the game to player level. Works with Epic Encounters look below. Note: It's recommended to activate the mod [after] you reach Fort Joy NPC sometimes bug out if mod is activated straight before starting a new game. Note: Don't use this mod with Epic Encounters - it has much better, ingame configuration menu to adjust enemy stats in general. Septa The Ineffable - Full Power More like a "for fun" mod - strongly not recommended in first walkthrough. Those who know will understand and decide if they need it or not on their own ;. It should be used only with a new game - not on existing save. Crafting Overhaul This mod adds more than new crafting recipes; more than new items; new mechanics like armor dyeing, elemental swords, craftable new unique armors, weapons and accessories, quality of life additions like bags, chests, moveable crafting stations to the game. May be not needed if you're not much into crafting in general but may also show the crafting beauty to you at the same time , and definitely a pure paradise and essential mod for those who love crafting in RPGs. Read the mod page for the list of recipes and other in-depth details. If using all mods together, you'll have access to over !! You can use all 3, 2 or single mod per your wish, but the core mod Feenex's Battle Pack itself is strictly required for expansion addon and shapeshifter addon to work. It will take you plenty of time to start "orienting" in such amount of new skills, but it's totally worth it if you're an experienced DOS 2 player. Necromancy Rebalanced 2. It doesn't feel "too much", doens't make your overpowered yet refreshesh this playstyle greatly and makes some of skills which were "so-so" better viable at different game stages. Helaene - Buff All Summons Makes summoning more viable and fun by making infusions to be able to cast on any summon and a couple of new infusion skillbooks. Summoning Tweaks Infusions can be "copied" for quick mass re-applying outside of combat. This works with Larian's Pet Power mod as well. Infusion skills have to be memorized for the copying to continue to work, as it's purely meant to be a time-saver. The max summon cap is set to 3 by default. This feature is adjustable and you can increase or decrease this further in the settings menu accessed with the Summoning Tweaks menu book, or LeaderLib's mod menu. Summon Rework Core A really massive summoning overhaul which rebalances and improves all summoning mechanics and many spells. It's really in-depth, so read the mod page carefully. Enhanced Talents Simple yet great mod which improves several talents which avail was somewhat arguable. Ryuki's Huntsman Tweaks A separate mod from the same author, for Huntsman class. Ambidextrous Versatility Makes Ambidextrous refund 1 AP for grenades and scrolls that spend more than 1 AP when your main-hand is free but your off-hand is occupied. All In Baby! Mods are available to overhaul: Scoundrel 25 reworked and new skills to choose from and expand your rogue builds and trickery. Addons are in files section. Addon for Physical Teleportation is available. Larian's Pet Power Compatibility patch is available. Summoning This mod provides additional scaling to any Summons based on their owners Attribute points. When reaching a certain threshold, any Summons will also gain new Boon statuses. These bonuses apply to any and all Summons and Totems from the basegame and mods. Other great vanilla class overhauls from talented authors: Dashiku's Hydrosophist Expanded Massive addon with 27 new skills. Don't use with Odinblade Hydro overhaul - choose one or another. Helaene - Extra Ranger Skills 6 new skills - I personally love this addon pretty much. This one can be pretty overpowered, but that's for you to decide ofc : GOG link - default manual installation. Supports huge amount of class mods. Nice, let's proceed. Succubus Class Romance, mind control and vitality stealing - with 18 new skills for this unique hybrid class. The ultimate class ability is pretty OP so it's up to you use it or not, but in the rest this class is really great with unique looks and style. Valkyrie Class Support type warrior with 20 new skills. Finesse attribute override available. Strength attribute override available. Mirage Class Combination of a good chaos damage and illusions with with 38!! Cryomancer Class A master of ice magic, harnessing its frigid power to damage enemies and strengthen themselves. Trickster Class This class name speaks for itself - highly unusual class wrapped around confusion and Polymorph-based skills, 18 in total. Blacksmith Class Devastating blows with two-handed weapons and various abilities to improve your party member armors, empowering them in battle. Helaene's Cheat Chest Simply a cheat chest with all classes skillbooks of this author, for testing purposes. Chronomancer Class Unique supporting class who can both empower allies and debuff enemies with damaging spells that deal physical damage and 27 skills. Astronomer Class A mage class with two unique spell schools access - Sun Magic and Moon Magic, smart usage of which can result in both great damage and supporting abilities. Constellationist Class A summoning class that uses power of 88!! A highly-tactical class. A testing addon is available for all skills to be open for player. Berserker Class Class name stands for its name - 25 furious skills, great dps and good survivability in critical situations. It also comes with own basic fury mechanic. Spectre Class Soul-devouring warriors which focuses on damage over time, piercing damage and debuffs. GOG link - default manual installation all addons at this page are available as optional files. Umbra Class Highly skilled assassin who can switch between different damage types and has own subbuilds, with over 30 new skills. A cheat chest addon with all skills is available for testing purposes. These words perfectly illustrate the Harpy - a graceful yet potent ruler of the skies. With more than 20 new spells, control the battlefield and support your allies with this stylish new class. Note: This DE conversion of the mod is not from the author itself. It works fine, but is not patched for compatibility with Divinity Unleashed which is compatible with the rest of Odinblade and many other class mods. Other than that, works just fine. And now many other class mods from talented authors: Metasourcerer Class Mod Very interesting and complex class mod from Kalavinka, author of Divinity Unleashed overhaul. A "pianist" class in some sense - it's unique feature is you can craft your own spells, which you will weave into blasting combos. In addition to that - immersive system of spell learning from a mystical stones in the game world and a fully-voiced class trainer! A complete guide into playing this class is available. Mimes can mimic the actions of allies in battle, pummel enemies with scaled unarmed damage and have other unique abilities. Blade Master Class A multi-style warrior which can be a crazy damage-dealer, tank and debuffer whenever needed by changing stances. Mod also features new system of skill tiering and new game sub-difficulty called "Oath of Honor" which allows you to trade your ability to load game during fights for extra team-wide bonuses. Thorstmixx - Duelist Class An hhonorable adventurer who wields a single blade and an empty off-hand, wrapped around 17 new Warfare and Scoundrel skills. Mod adds almost 50 new skills, themed around the bard, the artificer, and to lesser extent, a monk or barbarian. An additional bard loot addon is available. GOG link - default manual installation bardic loot addon is an optional file. SirGagz - The Venalguard Class A dual wielding melee oriented class with a variety of magical attacks with brand new status effects and visuals achieved via 16 new skills. Gravewalker Class LOTR-inspired mod which introduces 2 new classes with unique playstyle, 44 new skills, new bosses and some other unique features. Pariah Class A truly unique with 50 new skills in Polymorph skill line. The Pariah uses the energy from life to heal allies, death to deal damage, and the harmony in between to protect those in need. Inferni - Hell-bent Rogue Class An original rogue class mod, oriented on close combat and smokescreens. They are intrinsically 3 new classes with different playstyles, 36 new skills with all new customized visual effects are made which is 12 for each clan. Mod also introduces new bosses and status effects. Dragon Knight An actual dragon knight class with ability to turn into a dragon and use unique abilities in dragon form. Void-Touched Conjurer A summoning type of character that can summon void creatures and apply devastating debuffs. Void Knight 23 new void-themed skills class with high mobility and piercing damage. Divine Talent Pack Absolutely great mod which adds a set of fully functional custom talents to the game and will be a great addition to your character builds. Talents are not avaialable during character creation - you can learn them via interactions with new special ancient tables you can find in the game so don't worry when you won't see them on character creation menu. Hybrid Spells Expanded Amazing, creative and massive skill pack that adds around 50 new skills and 7 new status effects. It has skills for every class and a lot of skills you can use in hybrid builds. Note: Do not use with Feenix shapeshifter addon. Deadly Skill Pack Stands for its name - 35 new skills for every matter. You can also use its Dradonic SKills part standalone. Adaptive Lizards With this little but beautiful mod, you can now customize your Lizard Racial ability to be better suited for whatever build you are playing with, whether it be an elemental mage, a warrior, or a rogue. Spellbook can be bought from Venima which exists in each act. GOG link - default manual installation - make sure to get "lite" version of the mod, which is the balanced version of it regular version makes spell usage almost free. Channel Source This mod adds new skills that allow the player to regenerate source by expending action-points. This is different from other source-regen mods as these skills can be used in combat. Additional Summons Pack Simple and nice. Overlord - Necromancy Spells 20 new necromancer-themed skills. GOG link - default manual installation besides you don't need to unzip anything - it's a. This earth based summon has a wide range of unique skills which can help you in many different ways. It is meant to be one of, if not the best of summons in the game. Dire Wolf Simple as that. These items don't have a set location or level and can be found from a variety of sources. The items are somewhat ARPG-like in that you can find multiple copies of them and most items have an effect that is unique to it. This mod is an absolutely titanic work and would be a great addition to anyone who wants to spice up the walkthrough and character builds. There are couple of minor bugs here and there, but nothing dangerous and quite expected for the mod of such a size - and you may never encounter them to begin with because you won't find all the items durin a single walkthrough. The only mod with which you should think twice before using it together is EE, because it has own gameplay redisign and some status effects or damage modifiers may bee OP for it. At the same time, that's also not much of an issue because EE adds a large chunk of own artifacts to the game, which are balanced exactly for it. Bonus Uniques Over 90 new unique items you can fidn in game, aimed to compliment various build paths and options throughout your adventure. Note: Don't use this mod with Epic Encounters - it already adds plenty of new artifacts, balanced exactly for EE design. Note: Don't use this mod with Epic Encounters - it has own weapons rebalance part. Shadow Stalker Craftable equipment specialized in Finesse. They can be recolored into blue, green, red or standard black. You can level up this armor by combining it with a magical hammer to keep it viable. Default manual installation. The system for needs makes rest also all kinds of food and drinks necessary for your characters whilst not making it a primary goal. Academy Lessons For All Allows each party member to obtain a lesson from each of the teachers in The Academy on Nameless Isles, instead of just one character per party. Good Chemistry Shows you the effects of food, drinks, ingredients, and potions without requiring you to consume them first. Matter of taste mod - at one hand, source fountains exist in game and you only need some time to teleport to needed waypoint and get to them, so it's not directly a cheating mod - it simple saves you some time. Your call : GOG link - default manual installation. Wish that your initiative had a bigger impact on the turn order? This mod changes the combat turn order whereby players and enemies will act in order of their initiative. No Free Memory Slots Takes away the free memory slot you gain every other level in the vanilla game. If you want more memory slots you have to invest attribute points. Shock-Powered Teleportation Changes Teleportation so it only work against enemies who are already Shocked or Stunned, making teleportation a much less reliable means of dealing with adversaries. Harder difficulty mod once again. Reactive Immunities Enemies gain two turns of immunity to a fully disabling status after recovering from that status. Players do not. Damage Dispels Charmed Damaging charmed enemies dispels the effect. Simple as that. Skill Selection Ignores Gear Bonuses Ability bonuses granted by gear no longer let you memorize skills beyond your base level in that ability. Meant to make it harder to use oil to keep melee opponents at bay, but obviously benefits players as well. Ice Incarnates From Ice This last one is not actually difficulty-increasing, but just a neat little one from the same author. Casting Summon Incarnate on a patch of ice now gives you a proper ice-infused personal demon. All mods from the author above are available to download for GOG users here - default manual installation Slightly More Civil Ability Points Gain a civil point every 3 levels starting at level 2, rather than every forth level starting at 3. May be useful for a solo-LW walkthrough, for example. Shapeshifting Origin Tags A simple mod that preserves origin tags when transforming into another race. It also enables companion dialogues, so you can talk to companions while they're shapeshifted. Combined Icon Atlases Combines all of Larian's icons into one big atlas, to help mitigate the 7 atlas UI limitation which causes icons to not render. Diverse Weapons An overhaul for all weapons in the game in order to make them more diverse from each other depending on the type. Also introduces changes to runes and source orbs, explained on the mod page. Menace Tanking System This mod allows characters to generate Menace. The character in a party with the highest Menace is the character who, 9 times out of 10, will be the priority target for AI-controlled enemies. Addon to override governing attribute to Consitution is available. Drain Source from your enemies to feed the sword but be cautious. The sword is still fragile and also has the potential to possess those who wield it. Persuasion won't appear on amulets anymore, or Lockpicking on gloves etc. Note: Same here - don't use this mod with Epic Encounters due to very same reason. Level Up Equipment Potion With this mod, you can buy a special kind of potion that will level up all equipped gear to the level of your character. So if you found a nice piece of equipment you no longer have to toss it away for a better version now that you can drink for it. Note: Don't use this mod with Epic Encounters - it has own, very immersive system of upgrading quipment in forge. Crafting - Origin Armors Allows you to craft origin armors. Make Grenades Great Again This mod changes grenades so they scale with finesse, making them a more viable late game option for rogues and rangers, damage modified slightly as well. Two new grenades are also added to the game. Raise Your Pets This addon gives you more pets that you will encounter along your journey, with own unique abilities. Scribe Scrolls and Skillbooks Lets you scribe copies of scrolls and skill-books in your inventory without having to re-craft them from scratch. Footprints Footprints last much longer now, fading over a longer period of time for added immersion. Better Staff Of Magus Removes the cooldown and slightly improves the damage to make staves a more useful ranged weapon. This mod aims to solve that by adding another waypoint statue in the starting area of Arx. Once you've discovered the waypoint, you'll be able to reach the Hall of Echoes and do whatever you must do there. The forced waypoint will also disappear as soon as you discover the original waypoint onboard Lady Vengeance. Or if you simply wanna harder walkthrough. GUI Eater Removes armors, vitality and level values from UI - a simple yet interesting concept for those who, once again, want more challenging combat experience. Obviously, will be overpowered for 2 character party setup, but can make sense if you're planning to play solo. Undead Savior Pretty arguable mod in terms of its feature, but may be interesting for some players - it removes ability of enemies to heal you in combat, which basically negates the "psychic" element of enemies always "knowing" if you're undead. Better analogue exists, which alters enemies Loremaster skill, i. If this will change at some moment, I'll update this line. Rattus Perfidus Savable Tiny mod to change the tragic fate of this lil fella. Never Meet Sir Lora Never Meet Black Cat If any of both of these pets actaully bother you that much - now you can completely remove them from the game. Barkus Rex Because why not, haha. Fight Club A nice little mod which adds a couple of quests and an arena in each act where you can just go pick a random fight. You can select the difficulty of the fight via the dialogs. While technically still being a WIP mod, it's already really immense in size and can give you many hours of walkthrough. Mod author updates it often. Mystics A custom story mods with new races and classes, 8 to hours 16 of playtime. Note: Look for the author's instruction on the mod page about the mod size. The Wizards Sanctum Superb map, ambient and beautiful. Take into account it's made for GM mode, so there are no enemies on it by default. Dragonfall A little investigation story mod. Chronicles of Divinity A new campaign with own storyline and dozens of quests by talented Composer. Sail the High Seas with your own ship, create brand new Origins character, meet new Source masters and ofc, find epic items and learn new spells. Short pre-release gameplay teaser is available to watch. Mod adds brand new mechanics, new abilities and a lich race itself. It's playable but bugs may exist together with still not properly balance abilities. Character Creation Plus patch available. The Cheat Commander Best mod for testing your character builds fast. Add small or large amounts of gold, experience, set your character to a specific level, henerate full sets of legendary gear for your current character level, spawn items such as lockpicks, runes, purging wands or even swornbreakers, create every skillbook for any skill type including combination books , add extra attribute and talent points beyond your current level, add character tags, including hero and villain - via dialogue with cheat commander NPC present in each arc. Mod can be installed and uninstalled in midgame without issues. Skilled Up Adds a new NPC in each act selling all skillbooks in the game including Source skills and crafted skills The Quick Start Backpack A backpack that spawns at the start of the game with loads of items you'll find useful inside. Simple Carry Weight Increase Base carry weight bumped from to GOG alternative - similar, but not the same mod - default manual installation. No Equipping Requirements Weapons, shields, and armour no longer have equipping requirements. Infinite Memory memory slots. GOG alternative - default manual installation. Rune Slots back to 3 Max rune slots increased to 3. Enables rune slots for all equipment. Book Of Origins Select any origin and racial skill you want. Level Up All Equipment - Including Uniques It was absolutely essential mod for many players including myself in classic version of the game as it was proviging a very useful mechanic of items upgrading which was balanced at the same time not give for free , but atm it's pretty bugged. GOG link. Occultist- A Summoner Overhaul Amazing summoner class overhaul, but prone to crashing the game randomly. Greed - Increased Loot Variety Hundreds of additional modifiers for items - from stat bonuses to unique skills. This mod will not directly break your game or anything - but it has decent amount of bugs here and there, and as it's abandoned, it's not likely they will be ever fixed. It also, on practice, disbalances loot system on some extent, so even while it's totally playable in general, it's not recommended to have it if you're aimed on challenging and balanced game. Faster Source Vampirism While the mod idea is great and actaully works, at the same time skill often disappears from skillbar at certain conditions, which makes the mod arguably an improvement in whole. Launch the game and, in main menu, click on "Mods" button as shown here. There you'll see the list of all mods you have installed. In this menu as shown here , to the right you will see check marks 1 which mean is mod active or inactive. To the left 2 you will see the load order in form of an ordered list. The rule here is simple - mods below have bigger load priority. This means core mods like libraries and base mods should be usually placed high in the load order, other mods below them, and if you have some mods that can interfere in their features list, place mod you want to take over lower in the load order, which results in bigger priority. And one more thing: if you've enjoyed the mod, don't forget to spare a few moments and rate it up Steam or endorse Nexus Mods - it's only a seconds of your time, but helps good mods to be better recognized by other players and shows authors their mods are useful to the community. Better textures and fx visuals, more options for character creation, changed look of characters and armors, different look for main menu, equipment appearance change and few others. Supporting category of mods for various things which won't affect balance, but will save your time, fix possible bugs and just make your life in game more comfortable. Mods to change enemies add new abilities, rebalance attributes, improve AI or add new encounters regular enemies, new bosses etc - in other words, usually used to make game more challenging. To use them or not is totally up to you - just not recommended to until you have finished game on Tactician difficulty once, or played at least till Arx. This section doesn't contain a lot of mods, but each of them is an immense creation which adds a lot to the game content or even overhauls the gameplay completely - while sticking to common sense and high joy levels. Some of mods here are big content addons which can be generally used with many other mods, and some are whole-game overhauls which will make you explore the game like the first time and bring playing DOS 2 to a brand new level. Experienced players will find this section especially interesting. Now, 3 mods which can be easily called "whole game overhauls" - they affect many different aspects of the game and change the gameplay heavily. If using any of them, make sure to use only 1 - don't use them together. Class mods can be compatible or not compatible on different extent - there's no universal answer here while I've provided some notes below. Yet, even while there are some compatibility-related moments, any from these projects is a great mod which can give you a lot of joy and massively refreshed DOS 2 experience. Each one is different - read brief descriptions below, read mod pages and choose one you like the most personally. Class mods are often the favourite mod type for many players - and that totally makes sense. Good class mods is what make you play game again and again due to new character and party builds, which directly means better replayability. In most of cases, these mods make your character stronger on different extend, compared to vanilla game - so it's recommended to use class mods with some enemy-empowering mods. But ofc, it's up to you in the end. Now, more "serious" mods - they add various amount of new skills - with these ones, any vanilla class may turn into something new. Note: For balance and common sense sake, use only one overhaul for certain class, otherwise you'll be just overwhelmed with tons of skills, often becoming plainly overpowered or just having identical skills for no reason. Odinblade mods to overhaul existing classes and add many new skills as well. These mods are incredibly versatile, which means that you can be a tank with water skills, or blazing knight - no directly a pure mage yet a hybrid class with own style. Read the mod pages to see which playstyles each mod adds. Mods are available to overhaul:. Mods in this section are all about innovations and new experience - brand new classes with unique skills and playstyles, or just skill packs with plenty of new skills for you to choose from. Dive in! First of all, if you want to rectuit companions with the class mods you have, grab this neat mod:. Helaene new classes. Read the mod pages to see what kind of playstyle each mod adds. Heaphaistos new classes. Odinblade new classes. The last 3 mods below can look great for many players, but they can be also ridiculously overpowered in most of cases, so it's recommended to play it with hardcore enemy mods setup and on hardest difficulty. Now, several other mods which are not directly adding a spesific class, but rather being a skill packs which you can use up to your taste - alone or in addition to other class mods. They differ in size and can add tons of new skills as well as only a few ones or make expansions to existing skills. Plenty of different mods for various things here and there - mods which don't certainly fall under one scrict category, situational or "matter of tastes" ones. Here you may find various useful additions and maybe even some essential mods, depending on your current setup and playstyle. Several great difficulty-increasing mods from the same author. They are not for everyone and are highly subjective, but are simple and fits the vision of hardcore-like setup greatly. Various mods which allows you to experience different adventures - new quests added to original game and standalone projects - from a simple map mod with enemies to fight with, to a complex mods with multiple worldspaces, stories and quests, new races and skills. Also, don't be afraid of such mods often not having 5 stars ratings or enough ratings at all - this is simply a not mass-popular mod category, so low amount of ratings doesn't mean the mod is bad - if you found something interesting, try it yourself. Also [always read the mod page carefully] as due to having own design and often being realy big in size, these mods require some other mods to work properly, or have certain ingame conditions you should stick to. It will be expanded gradually. Various promising projects which are playable yet not finished yet, or only in early development stage - to keep your hand on pulse. Mods which can be considered cheating or pretty arguable in terms of balance. Some of them though, may be great for testing or balancing the game with sort of masochistic hardcore mod setups. It's all up to you, after all :. Some mods that should be mentioned due to being great or having good potential, but unstable in some aspect - not properly working with latest game version, causing occasional crashes etc. Maybe they will be fixes in future, and this is what the section is for - to keep them in mind if you like them. Some people are still modding classic version, because it still has more mods in certain segments, but the thing is DE has much better modding potential - more and more next-level mods appear on the stage only for DE, and even if DE still don't have some mod you loved ported to it, it usually should have an alternative and often better one. With the flow of time, DE modding stage will only grow and that's the definitive version to go for modding. And if you're against certain balance changes which Larian made in DE like nerfing Lone Wolf, for example - usually there are mods to change that up to your taste. A: Steam version is strongly recommended for modding, for two reasons. Secondly, installing mods via Steam is easier than to sneeze and faster than to blink - you simply click "Subscribe" at the mod page as shown here and mod is already added to your game, waiting for being activated. For GOG version, you will need to install mods manually it's not hard at all, but still will require more time as you can guess. Tldr - if you have game in Steam - great. Already have it in GOG - it's not a sentence, but modding will be more limited and require more time. Still, the guide has a Nexus Mods links for each mod that has nexus version, in addition to Steam Workshop links. A: Well you technically can ofc, but there's simply no reason for that - so no. This is a guide with over mods picked from 2k existing on the stage atm - a roadmap with suggestions and instructions, divided into sections. There are section like Preparations or Essential mods - there you can and basically should grab everything. As for other sections, simply go down the list without a rush, and pick what looks interesting to you. If that's your first walkthrough with mods - don't pick too many, as you can simply end being overwhelmed by amount of new things in the game. Don't rush - and you'll ascend :. Q: Can I install mods in midgame on existing save or new game is a hard requirement? Can I uninstall mods in midgame? A: Installing: depends. As for the complex mods which change game heavily, bring a lot of new content etc - new game is strongly recommended. Uninstalling: here, it's generally not recommended to uninstall mods on existing save. Best practice is to install all mods you're planning to take for this walkthrough and make a test run for couple of hours. See what you like, what don't, adjust the mod list and then start a new game. Q: Do mods affect performance or loading times? Mods which contain HD textures may eat a couple of fps, but if you're able to play DOS 2 at least on medium settings - you won't see any noticeable FPS hit. After that, loading times shouldn't be affected in mose of cases. A: In-depth yet easy to understand article here , give it a read. A: Larian made definitely a nice additions via some of them, sometimes carrying popular mods ideas from the community. While it's totally up to you if to use any of them or not, sometimes they me be not compatible with similar mods, which points to the next moment - most of if not all features existing in Gift Bags are available via existing mods. Generally, it's not recommended to use Gift Bags in first turn but once again, it's up to you ofc - just put simple attention to mods you're using - if you have a mod which has same effect as Gift Bag does, use only one and you'll be fine. It's really fresh so atm there are no guaratnees gameplay-changing mods will work perfectly with it. It also auto-enables itself, unlike other gift bags where you have the choice - but it happens only when you start a new game, so existing saves are safe. More information coming soon. No Weapon Warning Probably may look somewhat unimmersive for some players, but needed for others. Disables NPCs warnings about having your weapon drawn when you go to talk to them. This allows you to talk to any NPC while your weapon is unsheathed. Public Anvils All anvils are now public allowing players to use them without losing favor with npcs. Torch mod A simple mod that makes you able to craft and use torches as light source. You can throw the torch on a surface to ignite it. There's also a spell to light staves for mages. The Relics of Rivellon - Stand Alone Enables access to the contents of the official mod "The Relics of Rivellon" without starting a new game, and allows missed steps of any of the Relics quests to be restored in any game. Also offers a variety of bug fixes for the new content. Quest Fix - Spider's Kiss Mod may be needed for MP multiplayer only - it sets missing flag that allows characters to get the Spider's Kiss after another character was already kissed. This flag is normally set per-user, so characters in multiplayer were unable to get kissed, unless they met other requirements. Same as mod above, you will not need it until you have mods that can modify this area. Also currently, there is no easy way to change your dual wield setup easily from the skillbar, which changes with this mod. Driftwood - No Annoying Child in the Ambient Sound Removes the child sounds from 'ambient' town chatter in Driftwood which may or may not annoy some players. If there's no "Sound" folder, just create one and put file in it. Unless you run full parties of avatars MP characters , companions and other NPCs will interrupt voiced reflection dialogues by the preceding player. A bunch of unique recordings won't ever be heard by most players. This mod fixes it. Do you wish they'd stop blurting out that they're ready? Enemy Upgrade Overhaul Your to-go mod if you want to make combat more challenging and unpredictable - mod introduces a randomized system for buffing enemies, allowing for more challenging encounters with weighted, randomized upgrades, and a chance of bonus treasure depending on how tough the enemy becomes. Summoner Boss Challenger Pack One more great boss mod which features summoner bosses and ofc a rewarding loot. Placed NPCs fit seamlessly into the game. Extra Enemies For Fun Currently seven now bosses placed in the game world which you can challenge to test your powers. They drop loot, but don't give XP, which keeps character level progression balanced. Tougher Bosses 2x Does how it's named - doubles the health and armors of all bosses in the game. Tougher Bosses 5x Same feature, but now x5 - this is mostly for masochists or those playing with clearly overpowered class mods. Harder Final Boss Really neat mod which changes the final bossfight in the game which is by any means is not easy itself , making it much harder. If you don't want spoilers - better don't read the mod description and just keep this surprise till the time comes. Divine Scaling Scales all enemies in the game to player level. Works with Epic Encounters look below. Note: It's recommended to activate the mod [after] you reach Fort Joy NPC sometimes bug out if mod is activated straight before starting a new game. Note: Don't use this mod with Epic Encounters - it has much better, ingame configuration menu to adjust enemy stats in general. Septa The Ineffable - Full Power More like a "for fun" mod - strongly not recommended in first walkthrough. Those who know will understand and decide if they need it or not on their own ;. It should be used only with a new game - not on existing save. Crafting Overhaul This mod adds more than new crafting recipes; more than new items; new mechanics like armor dyeing, elemental swords, craftable new unique armors, weapons and accessories, quality of life additions like bags, chests, moveable crafting stations to the game. May be not needed if you're not much into crafting in general but may also show the crafting beauty to you at the same time , and definitely a pure paradise and essential mod for those who love crafting in RPGs. Read the mod page for the list of recipes and other in-depth details. If using all mods together, you'll have access to over !! You can use all 3, 2 or single mod per your wish, but the core mod Feenex's Battle Pack itself is strictly required for expansion addon and shapeshifter addon to work. It will take you plenty of time to start "orienting" in such amount of new skills, but it's totally worth it if you're an experienced DOS 2 player. Necromancy Rebalanced 2. It doesn't feel "too much", doens't make your overpowered yet refreshesh this playstyle greatly and makes some of skills which were "so-so" better viable at different game stages. Helaene - Buff All Summons Makes summoning more viable and fun by making infusions to be able to cast on any summon and a couple of new infusion skillbooks. Summoning Tweaks Infusions can be "copied" for quick mass re-applying outside of combat. This works with Larian's Pet Power mod as well. Infusion skills have to be memorized for the copying to continue to work, as it's purely meant to be a time-saver. The max summon cap is set to 3 by default. This feature is adjustable and you can increase or decrease this further in the settings menu accessed with the Summoning Tweaks menu book, or LeaderLib's mod menu. Summon Rework Core A really massive summoning overhaul which rebalances and improves all summoning mechanics and many spells. It's really in-depth, so read the mod page carefully. Origin Skills Rework Reworks the Origin skills to be more interesting, and more importantly, useful during whole game. Addons available for Odinblade mods look below and Larian's Pet Power gift bag. Addons are available in optional files tab. Note: Don't use this mod with Epic Encounters see below in complex overhauls section - it already balances origin skills per own design. Enhanced Talents Simple yet great mod which improves several talents which avail was somewhat arguable. Mods are available as standalone for each class as well as all-in-one pack. For this version, addons are available separately in files tab. Ryuki's Huntsman Tweaks A separate mod from the same author, for Huntsman class. Ambidextrous Versatility Makes Ambidextrous refund 1 AP for grenades and scrolls that spend more than 1 AP when your main-hand is free but your off-hand is occupied. All In Baby! Mods are available to overhaul: Scoundrel 25 reworked and new skills to choose from and expand your rogue builds and trickery. Addons are in files section. Addon for Physical Teleportation is available. Larian's Pet Power Compatibility patch is available. Summoning This mod provides additional scaling to any Summons based on their owners Attribute points. When reaching a certain threshold, any Summons will also gain new Boon statuses. These bonuses apply to any and all Summons and Totems from the basegame and mods. Other great vanilla class overhauls from talented authors: Dashiku's Hydrosophist Expanded Massive addon with 27 new skills. Don't use with Odinblade Hydro overhaul - choose one or another. Supports huge amount of class mods. Nice, let's proceed. Succubus Class Romance, mind control and vitality stealing - with 18 new skills for this unique hybrid class. The ultimate class ability is pretty OP so it's up to you use it or not, but in the rest this class is really great with unique looks and style. Valkyrie Class Support type warrior with 20 new skills. Finesse attribute override available. Strength attribute override available. Mirage Class Combination of a good chaos damage and illusions with with 38!! Cryomancer Class A master of ice magic, harnessing its frigid power to damage enemies and strengthen themselves. Trickster Class This class name speaks for itself - highly unusual class wrapped around confusion and Polymorph-based skills, 18 in total. Blacksmith Class Devastating blows with two-handed weapons and various abilities to improve your party member armors, empowering them in battle. Helaene's Cheat Chest Simply a cheat chest with all classes skillbooks of this author, for testing purposes. Chronomancer Class Unique supporting class who can both empower allies and debuff enemies with damaging spells that deal physical damage and 27 skills. Astronomer Class A mage class with two unique spell schools access - Sun Magic and Moon Magic, smart usage of which can result in both great damage and supporting abilities. Constellationist Class A summoning class that uses power of 88!! A highly-tactical class. A testing addon is available for all skills to be open for player. Berserker Class Class name stands for its name - 25 furious skills, great dps and good survivability in critical situations. It also comes with own basic fury mechanic. Spectre Class Soul-devouring warriors which focuses on damage over time, piercing damage and debuffs. GOG link - default manual installation all addons at this page are available as optional files. Umbra Class Highly skilled assassin who can switch between different damage types and has own subbuilds, with over 30 new skills. A "pianist" class in some sense - it's unique feature is you can craft your own spells, which you will weave into blasting combos. In addition to that - immersive system of spell learning from a mystical stones in the game world and a fully-voiced class trainer! A complete guide into playing this class is available. Mimes can mimic the actions of allies in battle, pummel enemies with scaled unarmed damage and have other unique abilities. Blade Master Class A multi-style warrior which can be a crazy damage-dealer, tank and debuffer whenever needed by changing stances. Mod also features new system of skill tiering and new game sub-difficulty called "Oath of Honor" which allows you to trade your ability to load game during fights for extra team-wide bonuses. Thorstmixx - Duelist Class An hhonorable adventurer who wields a single blade and an empty off-hand, wrapped around 17 new Warfare and Scoundrel skills. Mod adds almost 50 new skills, themed around the bard, the artificer, and to lesser extent, a monk or barbarian. An additional bard loot addon is available. SirGagz - The Venalguard Class A dual wielding melee oriented class with a variety of magical attacks with brand new status effects and visuals achieved via 16 new skills. Gravewalker Class LOTR-inspired mod which introduces 2 new classes with unique playstyle, 44 new skills, new bosses and some other unique features. Pariah Class A truly unique with 50 new skills in Polymorph skill line. The Pariah uses the energy from life to heal allies, death to deal damage, and the harmony in between to protect those in need. Inferni - Hell-bent Rogue Class An original rogue class mod, oriented on close combat and smokescreens. They are intrinsically 3 new classes with different playstyles, 36 new skills with all new customized visual effects are made which is 12 for each clan. Hybrid Spells Expanded Amazing, creative and massive skill pack that adds around 50 new skills and 7 new status effects. It has skills for every class and a lot of skills you can use in hybrid builds. Note: Do not use with Feenix shapeshifter addon. Deadly Skill Pack Stands for its name - 35 new skills for every matter. You can also use its Dradonic SKills part standalone. Adaptive Lizards With this little but beautiful mod, you can now customize your Lizard Racial ability to be better suited for whatever build you are playing with, whether it be an elemental mage, a warrior, or a rogue. Spellbook can be bought from Venima which exists in each act. This mod is an absolutely titanic work and would be a great addition to anyone who wants to spice up the walkthrough and character builds. There are couple of minor bugs here and there, but nothing dangerous and quite expected for the mod of such a size - and you may never encounter them to begin with because you won't find all the items durin a single walkthrough. The only mod with which you should think twice before using it together is EE, because it has own gameplay redisign and some status effects or damage modifiers may bee OP for it. At the same time, that's also not much of an issue because EE adds a large chunk of own artifacts to the game, which are balanced exactly for it. Bonus Uniques Over 90 new unique items you can fidn in game, aimed to compliment various build paths and options throughout your adventure. Note: Don't use this mod with Epic Encounters - it already adds plenty of new artifacts, balanced exactly for EE design. Matter of taste mod - at one hand, source fountains exist in game and you only need some time to teleport to needed waypoint and get to them, so it's not directly a cheating mod - it simple saves you some time. This mod changes the combat turn order whereby players and enemies will act in order of their initiative. No Free Memory Slots Takes away the free memory slot you gain every other level in the vanilla game. If you want more memory slots you have to invest attribute points. Shock-Powered Teleportation Changes Teleportation so it only work against enemies who are already Shocked or Stunned, making teleportation a much less reliable means of dealing with adversaries. Harder difficulty mod once again. Reactive Immunities Enemies gain two turns of immunity to a fully disabling status after recovering from that status. Players do not. Skill Selection Ignores Gear Bonuses Ability bonuses granted by gear no longer let you memorize skills beyond your base level in that ability. So if you found a nice piece of equipment you no longer have to toss it away for a better version now that you can drink for it. Make Grenades Great Again This mod changes grenades so they scale with finesse, making them a more viable late game option for rogues and rangers, damage modified slightly as well. Two new grenades are also added to the game. Raise Your Pets This addon gives you more pets that you will encounter along your journey, with own unique abilities. Scribe Scrolls and Skillbooks Lets you scribe copies of scrolls and skill-books in your inventory without having to re-craft them from scratch. Footprints Footprints last much longer now, fading over a longer period of time for added immersion. Better Staff Of Magus Removes the cooldown and slightly improves the damage to make staves a more useful ranged weapon. This mod aims to solve that by adding another waypoint statue in the starting area of Arx. Once you've discovered the waypoint, you'll be able to reach the Hall of Echoes and do whatever you must do there. GUI Eater Removes armors, vitality and level values from UI - a simple yet interesting concept for those who, once again, want more challenging combat experience. Greed - Increased Loot Variety Hundreds of additional modifiers for items - from stat bonuses to unique skills. This mod will not directly break your game or anything - but it has decent amount of bugs here and there, and as it's abandoned, it's not likely they will be ever fixed. It also, on practice, disbalances loot system on some extent, so even while it's totally playable in general, it's not recommended to have it if you're aimed on challenging and balanced game.
