Okay this episode was EVERYTHING I hoped it would be. Stupid miscommunications, the fake couple argument, deciding they don’t feel like getting divorced AND going off into the sunset. Literally checked off EVERYTHING i had in my list of hopes for this ep (all it was missing was the cheesy romance disney ass music at the end). I wouldn’t have wanted it to turn out any other way and it cracks me tf up they still dont realize theyre married to EACH OTHER. Now, will this continue into other episodes like how we saw the ending of Pardon Our Dust didn’t seem to stay canon? Idk! I doubt its ever going to be brought up again. But in my heart and mind Beavis and Butthead are now legally married, love wins or something :] somebody go update the wiki

So happy to see this episode finally come full circle :]

OH YEAH AND WE'RE ON A GREAT STREAK OF NO PISS DRINKING.

OVERALL STILL NO MISSES, every episode has managed to make me laugh the video segments literally had me almost falling over this time. such a great day to be a beavis and butthead fan :]

sort of a continuation of my last oc fic. like. kind of but not really. idk. it's the same day and everything, just a different pov (sol's, actually!) it's.... pretty much just angst lol. no snz unfortunately, just characters and dynamics and ye

anyway!! enjoy 1.4K :)

"Q?"

Sol's fist hovers above the wood of Q's door, painted a deep purple with swirling nebulae and bursts of stars, entire galaxies seemingly ripped straight from the night sky and pasted onto his door. Q had spent days on it after they moved in, and every time Sol went up to the second floor, it came together a little more. It's gorgeous, really, and she keeps forgetting to sketch out the design that she wants on her own door so Q can paint it for her.

Tentatively, she knocks on the door, and when it yields no response, she does it again, but louder. "Q?" she calls.

Nothing.

"Q, I'm coming in," she warns, and then she wraps her fingers around the knob and twists. Predictably, there's no resistance from the lock, and Sol peeks into Q's room, squinting cautiously into the darkness. The thick blackout curtains are drawn, all of the lights are off, and only if she really tries, she can pick out a nest of blankets on the bed that must contain Q. The room smells of paper and acrylic paint, and Sol takes careful steps as she approaches the bed.

Gently, she drops her hand onto where she assumes Q's shoulder is. She barely misses it, only a few inches off, and her hand lands on the small junction that lies between his collarbone and his neck. Underneath her hand, Q flinches. She sighs quietly, near inaudibly; it's one of these days.

They've only known Q for six months, after having been a band since they were in college, Em and Sol in the same class because Em had taken a gap year and Luc two years below them but still committed, even after Em and Sol's graduation. It had been a years-long struggle to find a drummer they all gelled with, and then, in the midst of recording their first EP, they'd hired Q off of Fiverr and just about offered him a position on the spot. He was shy, constantly ducking into himself around them and curling away from their affection like a wounded animal over the six days of recording, but they knew instantly that he was going to be their drummer.

Still, Q has four years of catch-up to do. He doesn't know any of them as well as they know each other. With Q already reserved, it's hard to get to know him beyond the surface, and so, Sol really has no clue what's going on in Q's head on days like today. Her hand lingers a moment longer on his shoulder, hoping to convey some semblance of comfort. She can feel the tension thats coiled tightly in his muscles, the way he recoils from her touch, and she wonders if he's even aware of his own response.

"Q," she says softly, her voice a quiet murmur in the dimmed room. "Are you okay?"

A beat, and the silence is left to hang in the room, flooding it and filling every last bit of space between Sol's ribs. She hates to admit it, but she doesn't know what to do. Em and Luc are still downstairs, and while she would love to ask one of them for help, she's not going to separate the two of them when Luc is sick.

Finally, motion as Q stirs, the blankets shifting and eventually parting to reveal his face, his tired eyes, his dull gaze. He looks exhausted, haggard and sleepless, like the weight of his body is simply too much for him to bear.

"Hey," Sol whispers. "You alright?" Q's not been looking at her, but upon hearing her concerned words, he startles, eyes slowly tracking in her direction.

He blinks a few times, trying to focus on Sol's face. His lips move, but no sound escapes. It takes a moment before he manages a hoarse, "Yeah, just tired," his gaze slipping off to the side once more.

Worry carves its way into Sol's expression. "Are you sure?" she asks, watching as Q's jaw tightens. The fleeting shadow of something dark passes over his expression, and not for the first time, Sol wishes that they'd found him sooner, that he'd been able to join them earlier so they could avoid the disconnect that's yawning widely between them. The gaps in their knowledge about Q's past, when compared to how tightly entwined they've been with each other for the past... Dios, four years, are stark.

Q mumbles, "Yeah," his voice nearly inaudible. There's vulnerability etched into every line of his body, from the hunching of his shoulders to the bowing of his head.

Sol's quiet for a moment, and then carefully reaches out, watching for any sign that Q doesn't want to be touched right now. He doesn't flinch back, and so, she's careful when shifting closer to him and wrapping his thin body in a hug and—

And.

He absolutely melts into the embrace, tensing only briefly and then going limp so suddenly Sol's genuinely worried that he passed out. But no, his breath is hitching with these soft, tiny sobs and Sol wants to cry because how could they not realize that Q is touch-starved? He's clinging to her near-desperately, as if he can't believe he's really being touched or held by another human being, and the full force of everything he's kept hidden from them, whether intentionally or not, slams into Sol.

It's all she can do to simply hold Q even tighter, squeezing him gently and running a soothing hand along the bumps of his spine, feeling the shudders wrack through his body. She doesn't say anything, just letting him revel in this moment. The room remains silent except for his contained sobs, and Sol hopes that the act of simply being there for him is enough.

Eventually, he sniffles quietly into her shoulder. Pulls away from her. Wipes his eyes. Averts his gaze. Whispers, "Lo siento."

"Todo está bien, Q," Sol murmurs back, rubbing his forearm gently. Q still doesn't look up at her, and she tries not to notice the way he unconsciously leans into her body, seeking warmth, safety, comfort, and her chest aches. "Pero, cariño—" she can't miss the way Q winces at the term of endearment "—dime, ¿qué está pasando?"

Q's fingers start absentmindedly tracing patterns on his comforter, falsifying constellations. "No importa."

"Q. Por favor."

"I said it doesn't matter, Sol!" he snaps, and the switch to English is, even if for just a moment, startling before it makes sense. Obviously, Q's not finding it easy to express in Spanish, and to further avoid it, he's switching languages.

Dios mío.

"Q," she says slowly. "It does matter if it's making you this upset. Please, just tell me."

The raw anger in Q's eyes dissolves into pure fear, and his gaze drops once again. He shakes his head, almost to himself, and the room is heavy with the anxiety radiating off him in waves. "Soledad," he says, and it sounds like begging, his accent thick around his words, threatening to drown them.

"Quentin," she whispers back. His gaze drops, and he breathes, shoulders shuddering, shaking.

Sol doesn't know what to do.

Even though she's not as maternal as Em is, Sol is their frontwoman, and she often takes it upon herself to care for her bandmates. Honestly, Sol enjoys knowing exactly how to comfort Em and Luc, knowing when they need space, knowing how to slot herself in among them both. But Q?

Q is uncharted territory, the edges of their universe, sprinting away from them faster than they can catch up. Sol doesn't know how to tame him, how to rein him in, how to hold onto him and reassure him that he's safe, that they're not going to leave, that he can trust them. She doesn't know what makes him anxious, what makes him laugh, what sends him spiraling, what gives him comfort.

She doesn't know him.

And that realization hurts more than when she was fourteen and split her chin open on a rock. Seven stitches, a fading scar left behind.

"I'm sorry," Q breathes, voice wet and choked. "I'm sorry, I can just..." He trails off, lost.

"¿Quieres la manta ponderada tuya?" Sol whispers. An olive branch.

His breath rattles in his chest as he nods shyly. "Sí. Gracias, Sol."

"Por supuesto," she murmurs, tucking him back into her side and weaving his weighted blanket around his shoulders, feeling the way the tension begins to bleed out of him as he relaxes, ever so slightly, against her. "Para eso es la familia. Quedaremos contigo, Q. Ahorita, y para siempre."

She just hopes that, one day, he can believe it.

ok this spinning scene of lorca and burnham and saru talking is spinning way to fast for too long how long are we going to keep spinning. its actually making me busy and hte cuts are not consistent in momentum so it didnt feel seamless it sholdve been takien in one shot and the camera needed to stop WAY sooner. thats how you wouldve actually shot a scene of that type. but "idk" ig, im just a mortal 😭 OK STAMETS. NOT ME SENDING PEOPLE 10 METRES AWAY FROM A TAP OF A FINGER sylvia saying "oh my god" then resuming like nothing happened was such a fast tone change i see those piercing marks on doc's ears. i always get this thoght of, whenever i see that on someone, im like BRUH PUT THEM BACK IN some of these camera ratios, rule of thirds, etc., are like. not done great? idk the eye is not reading the shot how it should a lot cuz the entity is not in an advantageous spot onscreen. tyler is going THROUGH it. damn. i think tyler's actor does well with representing traumatic fear oh interesting. i love these tactile sounds like the sound of the device tyler is wearing on his hand to control the ship's arm i like lorca's rbf XD

Yall the merch pieces got me emotional about stolitz again yall. How many other media pieces out there have this?? How many other shows out there have mlm relationships that never go commented on for being gay, as the main casting?? These two are literally no one's idea of good people and THAT'S so fucking great too because that what the world is sometimes!!! That's what people are like!!!! Rude and obnoxious and oblivious and still falling in love!!! And they ARE- you don't have to spend your time worrying that it's gonna get swept under the rug or not treated well because the writers are QUEER TOO, Brandon and Vivzie are QUEER TOO and so unapologetic and loud about it and you KNOW they're both incredible writers who'll treat the characters with respect no matter where they take em!!!

And it's so hard to find shows nowadays that have actual realistic dialogue as well- the MCU and Netflix seem to have convinced people that some random dramatic dialogues that can be giffed thrown together until it doesn't even feel like the characters aren't even talking to each other is what media should sound like. But it doesn't have that!!! Even with the exaggeration and creative swearing each and every character has emotional depth and uncomfortable conversations and they sound real!!! They sound like actual people in actual terrible situations!!! They act exactly a character that went through what they have would act!!Digressing a bit there tho.

Blitz is such an incredibly developed character with all his flaws and all of the consequences of his actions constantly coming back to bite him and the balance of being oblivious to things and then suddenly showing that behind it he has a clear awareness and perception of the situation at hand and all his loneliness, he's just ignoring it. And Stolas is??? A 200 year old realising his sexuality for the first time and pursuing it with both hands because he got a taste of what it was like to accept ur queerness for the first time. What it's like to be happy after trying desperately to fit in after years of marriage and loneliness.

And obviously yeah recipe for disaster, power imbalance, blah blah blah. THATS GOOD TOO!!! Seeing queer people as incredibly flawed characters is amazing!!!!! And you can see the reasons why they act like they do, you can see where the problems are happening and you can SEE that they can care about people and be good to those they love!! They clearly do want to try things out but it's their OWN FEAR holding them back!! This is how people ARE!!! MESSY!!

And holy fuck they actually care for each other?? The way Stolas is always so excited to see him and cares for Blitz's opinion and the way that Blitz is clearly trying to make himself not care about Stolas but getting dragged into emotions regardless ep 5 onwards until he's in tears after their date gets fucked up and he tells Stolas it isn't gonna work like all of that?? So complex and convoluted and real???

Even the class differences!! It's not swept under the rug as a sugar daddy side joke like the pilot set us up for, they ACTUALLY put so much into the friction and problems and prejudice and people laughing at em until it reached its breaking point and drove a wedge between them!!! In SEVEN episodes of half hour each, with maybe twenty minutes of them talking to each other???? Insane.

And the best part is- it's not malicious. They're not hurting each other on purpose but they're still hurting each other cause they come from such different places and have such loud personalities. You can go on pointing fingers about their morals (they r in hell some of u really gotta remember this lmfao) and what they're doing wrong but u cannot tell me they're doing it on purpose.

And the merch where they're smiling and laughing and cuddled up?? Sure the hb team might call another twist cause they're not known for pulling their punches lmao but seeing that is so fucking great. It's so emotionally fulfilling. THIS is what representation is.

omg don't get me started on adult heedo. if the writers wanted me to believe heedo and yijin broke up and she was fine living her life cause ~ things dont last ~ then show me that she moved on. instead, they showed me her keeping RAINBOW chairs around her studio, using yijin's thing he wrote on her sword with her daughter, the look in her face when she hears his name… like? she's obviously not over it at all. also older heedo forgetting THE BEACH TRIP, her very first significant trip with her first 'real' friends it seems. she acted like it never happened. and sure people forget things, but this was significant. i don't think anyone would plain out forget that.. idk maybe its just me. they were really trying to nail in things dont always last but jesus christ it was like heedo had amnesia except when it came to yijin though right? she remembers him like yesterday sigh what a waste of a beautiful relationship. i dont even know those two anymore in the last eps. things just went fucking downhill so quickly only cause the writer wanted to fit the ending into this weird narrative that she couldn't make believable at all at that point. you can't show us what they mean to each other for those 14 eps then quickly pull them apart, quite literally, at the end to make it work for this bs ending cause it didn't. if she wanted to show us they couldn't make it, there should've been signs way earlier but no, she waited until we barely got them together and suddenly all their traits are gone, they cant communicate, they cant be understanding when thats all they've been doing for each other the whole time.

No the rainbow chairs 😭😭 you know that last episode had me bawling I was so sad. I felt actually heartbroken for heedo. The way she pretended to forget the beach trip please she didn't forget, I bet she remembers every little thing. It was so meaningful to her and everyone else. Remember how only yijin got that photo of her?? Yeah that seems like a guy that would break up with the love of his life. Such a wasted opportunity for such a beautiful ending. I don't buy the whole "realistic ending". It was not realistic, it was stupid. I know they hinted since ep 1 that they might not end up together but then they shouldn't have created such a good relationship for them. From acquaintances to friends to almost lovers to lovers. They made them so in love. I'm getting sad again. I don't remember the last time I felt so sad after watching a drama, maybe only after uncontrollably fond. Agh. I'm upset again 😭 we were so robbed.

Go Watch the Venture Brothers

So just heard the complete and utter Bullshit news that Adult Swim has cancelled one of (if not the best shows) they have the Venture Bros. This series is one of those shows that for WHATEVER reason never got to the level of fandom Rick and Morty has even though they’ve been at the genre parody game longer and in my opinion better.

The series is about Rusty Venture former boy adventurer and failing super scientist who in an attempt to keep his head above water in debt goes around with his two boys Hank and Dean, and bodyguard Brock on misadventues while various legal archnemisis go after him, such as the Monarch.

So if you never watched or never heard of this 7 season series let me give you a break down on why you should,

1) Art Style & Animation

Venture bros is one of those rare Adult aimed animated series that that really truly tries to utilize their medium to the best of their abilities. Season 1 had like such a small budget and corners had to be cut so it can be a little hard to watch at times.

But with each passing season they get a little better, a little more fluid, go just a little harder and it truly feels rewarding to watch. Like seeing an artist you follow online improve over the years. Like they COULD have stayed with the choppy and stiff animation from season 1 it fit right in with its fellow adult animated shows but it didn’t. They strove for quality to have something that matched the story they were telling.

2) The Writing

Venture Bros has some of the tightest and consistently great writing of ANY serialized show I’ve seen, adult, animated or other wise. Wanna know why? Cause it’s all done by TWO people (save for like one ep each season where one other person is allowed to touch their baby). Yeah TWO people and they work their asses off every season to interject, humor, refrences, parody, plot and character development in equal measure.

3) Character Development

Um yes in case you were wondering that’s right an adult animated show has CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT that holds as the series goes on. Not to give spoilers but characters will go through changes in alignment, relationships will develop and change, some characters will go through negative arcs where they are straight up unbareable for a season before coming out the other side even better than they were before. There is no end of epsiode or even end of season reset. Characters, settings, and dynamics all change over the course of the show and it feels just so god damn good.

4) Story Development

Just like the characters the story of the Venture Bros grows and changes each season. Things that are set up even as early as season one are paid off as the series goes on. Like not to be that bitch but you know how RIck and Morty teases an overarching plot ALL THE TIME but like will often just spit in the face of fans hoping for more than like one episode a season addressing it? Yeahhhhhhh that doesnt happen here, fans are consistently rewarded for putting the time in to rewatch and really think about what happened in the series. Characters that are seen in the background or are just referenced by other characters will be brought in to be recurring characters, things that start off as a small detail or gag will be given larger relevance and each time they do this you get that “OH I remember that from last season! So thats what it was!” The writers WANT you to rewatch, they WANT you to analyze and they WANT you to theorize, and they give you a show that gives back the time you put in.

5) Parody & Reference

This series does a great thing with parody. They make real characters who are just as enjoyable as the characters they parody, they make story lines that both poke fun at the absurdity of the media but shows the writers love for it. So often parody and references are just used to mock the thing but with Venture Bros you feel the love and care so when you know the thing being parodied you can laugh but feel good about laughing cause they are never laughing at a thing maybe you cared for in your youth but rather laughing with it.

And it’s never just one thing. When they parody a thing its often layered with other things to make it even more unique. Scooby-Doo is overlayed with famous criminals, Laura Croft is mixed Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, GI Joe is given the look of the Village People and so on. They never go for the easy joke or reference. Hell theres an episode that starts with them reciting the lyrics to David Bowies Space Oddity for really no reason other than they could. They weave these things in naturally with their setting and characters so nothing feels out of place. Like if you dont catch a reference or parody you dont feel like “I think this isa reference to something?” like a LOT of things do not just adult animated shows. You arent taken out of the moment cause it all feels so natural.

6) The Characters

God damn these characters, I could go on for hours about these characters. From main to one off these are some of the most likeable characters you can find. I mean it when I say I can’t think of a single character I wish they had cut cause they are all so well created. Even the ones I hate i have fun hating cause they were made to be that way. I’ll be good though I’ll only talk about my absolute top faves.

- The Monarchs

You ever sit and wish villain couples could have functional healthy relationships? Well look no further than Malcom Fitzcarraldo aka The Monarch and Dr. Shelia Girlfriend (yes that is her last name). The Monarch is a high strung impulsive saturday morning cartoon villain whos tendency to over react is only matched by his unspecified hatred of Dr. Venture. And Dr. G is his nonsense partner in crime who will cut a bitch if they don’t play by their admittedly weird rules. Both characters are great on their own but are better together. Though that doesnt mean they always get along. Like a real couple they have their ups and downs they fight, break up, make-up and grow stronger in their relationship with each season.

- Shore Leave

Ok ok so I want you to imagine James Bond, mixed with GI Joe simmering in a cocktail of the most flamboyant gay men you have ever seen and you have one of my favorite gay characters/characters in general. Shore Leave is a member of OSI (the shows SHEILD/GI Joe parody organization) he’s loud, brash, flippant, sassy and highly competent at his job loving every second of getting to beat bad guys down within an inch of their life. I love seeing him play off the stoic Brock and the two have this great brotherly dynamic that’s never called into question. He also gets to have a very cute romance with Al the Alchemist (who is also great). I could talk about this man all day.

- Dr. Rusty Venture

They did such a good job with this man. He’s a self serving, sexist, perverted, whinny, self important asshole and yet you feel pity and genuine sympathy for him and want him to succeed. You can see how Dr. V was given a raw deal by his father who seemed to care more about his adventures than his sons well being and how this molded him into the bitter man he is today, but on the flip side you can see where he chose to use that as a crutch for his worst behaviors and impulses. Seeing him slowly grow and change and be an actual good father to his boys while all the while still be a giant dick is actually really great.

- Dr. Byron Orpheus

Ahhhhh Dr. Orpheus part Dr. Strange Parody part busybody stay at home dad, he’s just such a delight. Dr. Orpheus is a divorcee, with an unfulfilling job of maintaining order to the cosmos (which isnt as hard as one might think), and uses his magical ablities in ways most of us would (ie menial tasks and home chores). Overly dramatic and affectionate Dr. O is a delight whenever he appears, but he’s at his best around his daughter and old friends The Order of the Triad.

Again I can go on but all these characters ranging from main to recurring are crafted with the utmost care for you to want to see them succeed or fail, to see them again even if you know it’ll never happen, and want them to cross paths with other characters.

The Venture Bros is one of those series that I will ALWAYS recommend even to the pickiest of humor tastes. But if you don’t believe its as good as I said or don’t think the concept is to your tastes I’ll recommend a few eps that I think best show off the base idea of the series without giving much away. In terms of plot and spoilers, though somethings wont make a lot of sense.

- S1 ep10 "Tag Sale – You're It!" - Dr. V is having a yard sale so of course all manner of costumed weirdos show up. - S2 ep5 "Twenty Years to Midnight" - basically a fetch quest around the world to save the planet with daddy issues - S3 ep2 "The Doctor Is Sin" - Again daddy issues but with one of the best recurring characters and a great showcase of the series deeper emotional plots - S4 ep6 "Self-Medication" - Really embraces the parody as Rusty goes to a former boy adventurer support group. Anyway the show is 7 seasons with 80 episodes, please go watch it. I will never forgive @adultswim for cancelling what was to be their final season. And in closing GO TEAM VENTURE!

Disclaimer - This is purely for my own peace of mind and concerns the recent shitposts about yoonmin dynamic on In the Soop 2. Might add a dash of insecure jikookers and taekookers in the end as well if i’m not too fed up by then.

Yoonmin Rant

So some people have gone crazy over this basketball scene in ITS2 where Yoongi is teaching Jimin how to throw the ball and improve his shiz. Involved some cute iconic yoonmin banter where Yoongi is being his non-filtered self and Jimin is trynna get away with being cute as hell. BUT. Some of y’all seriously have no friends or are a part of some ass-licking empire or something. Because people are crying about how Yoongi treats Jimin like shit and puts him down. That Yoongi is the reason Jimin has ‘depression/low self esteem/is lonely’...

Are y’all serious!?!?! Have you never seen yoonmin interact before? Not only are you being hella stupid but the anti-yoongi sentiment is making me mad! Also, what do you take jimin for? Have you all forgotten that he’s roasted Yoongi as well. In fact, Jimin has roasted all the members quite well in the past and even now and THATS HOW FRIENDSHIP WORKS! Neither Yoongi nor Jimin need to prove shit to you about their bond. They’re both grown ups so you better treat them like one.

I’m sorry but BTS is not your SIMS character to satisfy your own fantasies with. They’re human and will not and do not need to abide by your narratives. Get. That. In. Your. Brain.

Insecure Jikookers/Taekookers

Before you @ me. I love jikook as well as taekook because i love all BTS ships. I do support and see jikook to be more than a platonic ship but that doesn’t mean they have to be or are a romantic couple. I’ll love their dynamic irrespective of what they are so..yeah. Moving on, this scene from ep 2 of the In the Soop 2 has insecure jikookers crying. Why? Oh because JK is being insensitive to JM and calling him an attention seeker. *slow claps*

After all that jikook has been jikooking this entire year, how can y’all still behave like this. It’s stupid, immature, nonsensical and bullshiz.

As for taekookers, oh my god. *intense eye roll* I honestly believe taekookers are obsessed with jimin more than their ship. Yesterday we got such an adorable taekook moment after ages! I thought finally tkkers will be happy and live in a positive bubble for one goddamn day at least instead of shitting on jimin. Oh lord was i wrong. Taekookers’ first reaction was to flood jikooker/jimin fans’ ask boxes with taunts and hates messages, and MORE high class delulu narratives of taekook defying BH blah blah blah. Like...

Get a life y’all. Seriously, at this point BTS can’t do anything right it seems in the eyes of the delulu fans. Ship dynamics are overanalyzed and pitted against each other in every damn thing that they do. It’s honest to god giving me a headache.

I repeat. It’s not BTS’s job to satisfy your ship fantasies. Let OT7 breathe. Support and love OT7. BTS is not your SIMS/Ao3/Wattpad character.

Hiii im so sorry if you are not taking requests, but i really love your writting style. I had this idea regarding this run (ep 4 i think) where the guys were doing like a circle of challenges and jk had to chug a little box of milk and then throw it in a bucket. When he failed, he had to do it again until making it. So i was thinking about him just chugging a lot of milk really fast and then when they finally finish the challenge and are all happy and giddy he just throws up

Jungkook knows that this game was a bad idea, like, drinking a carton of milk after spinning? They must have out of their minds.

But what can he do? right?

He is professional after all.

"Yah! Jungkook-ah! Let's switch", Seokjin's words from the other side of field making his eyes widen.

"What?", he asks in between catching his breath. His world still tilting after doing jegi and spinning for 2 times in a row.

" Let's switch, so we can win this fast", Seokjin says again as he walk over his spot.

He didnt get to mutters an argument as the PD-nim already asking them to start again, along with his members shout to start.

He gulps down faint taste of sick, as nausea start building up on the pit of his stomach. He feels dizzy.

Yet, he needs to spin again.

As the PD-nim yells start, and the stopwatch running, that's when his nightmare also starts.

Adrenaline start rushing in his blood, getting pumped while looking at the other members doing their own challenge until it comes to his turn.

"Jungkook!! come on you can do it"

"Jungkook! lets go!"

The members shout ringing on his head as he spins his body, stumbling over his feet as he finished, shakily open the milk, chugging it in one go and—

"Arrghhh!"

It missed.

They had to start again.

He pulled all of his remaining focus over his dizzy gaze as he start to spin after the other members finished their challenge, opened the carton of milk, chugging it again, and—

"YAAAA!", the members scream indicate that he succeeds. He yells in excitement as he began to cheers Jimin on the next challenge.

The scream got louder as Jimin managed to finish in one go.

They start running around the field, ending the torturous game and happily prepared the punishment for the staff.

Jungkook stand shyly on the end of the line, watching Jimin and Seokjin that grinning ear to ear as they put .. he doesn't know what kind of ingredients are there and is that even legal to blend together. The sight of the mixture makes him want to hurl.

He stands quietly, opening his mouth once or twice to give necessary comments as the camera still rolling on.

But he feels something is wrong with him, as everything starts kicking him—his too much spin, and his rapid consumption of milk...

He gulps.

The feeling of sickness slowly creeping into his chest.

He grimaced when it morph into a burp, leaving a sour gas that exactly smell and taste like milk, in his mouth.

He feels like throwing up.

"Yoongi hyung", he whispers, nudging the older beside him that still mesmerized with the staff drinking the weird mixture.

Yoongi didn't budge.

" Hyung", he tries again, louder this time, nudging the older with more force. His heart starting to race faster and his mouth start feeling sour. The milk is swirling in his stomach.

He's really going to be sick.

Yoongi finally turn his attention to him.

"What?" , he asks as he glance at him.

"Can we move out of camera for a while?", Jungkook asks, his legs tapping anxiously, trying hard not to throw up, which is not working since the smell of the milk keeps haunting him.

"Why?", Yoongi asked still looking straight at him. He could read the confusion in the elder's eyes.

" I don't feel well", Jungkook says, taking big breaths, and pressing his fingers to his lips, hoping that he won't accidentally gag as it has been sitting heavily on the back of his throat.

Yoongi frowns, but still grabbing his wrist without saying another words, signaling to the one of the staff that catch them, that they need to go.

They didnt go far, just to the other side of the field.

Jungkook quickly hunched over, breathing in and out deeply, trying to calm himself and ignore the churning in his gut.

"Are you going to be sick?", he heard Yoongi asking, but he didn't manage to mutter words as a harsh—and wet gag, erupted from his body, making him pitched forward, answering Yoongi's question.

He shuddered at the horrible sensation that engulf his body. It makes him more nauseous.

He hears his hyung sigh. And suddenly, arms are wrapping around his waist as he feels his shoulder press against his own, and hands rubbing soothing circles on his back.

" Just let it out, Kook-ah", Yoongi whisper.

He tries to listen—but the churning in his gut is more prominent, it makes him shut his eyes tight.

His hand clenched into fist, nails digging into his palm, as he feels warm liquid seeping on his throat.

And before he knows, he's gurgling out milk he just drank. Spraying messily into the grass below him, making a big puddle of white liquid.

He groan in agony, trying to swallow another round, but it keeps escaping through his throat.

"Uurrrkkk-", he retches again, bringing up a bigger stream of milk , making him gasp for air, coughing painfully.

"Shhh, Kookie", he hear Yoongi murmurs, massaging his nape gently, urging his body to let out everything that he wants.

Jungkook could hear mumbles behind him, maybe the members, or the staff, he didn't know. He was too busy fighting against the urge to throw up as his stomach seems to protest against everything he ate or drink—it keeps clenching and brings vomit up with each heave.

It felt like minutes later, or it might take more than minutes to make it go away, or for him to realize what is happening to him.

"Fuck..", he moans as he clutching his stomach and straighten his body when nausea finally subsided.

He sniffles as he watches the mess that he made.

"Hyung ..", he whimper as he look at Yoongi that return his gaze fondly.

He feels like crying.

He didn't want to look back and meet with the staff and members' expressions.

They must been disgusted with him.

" Yoongi hyung ..", he whimper once again.

"Come here", Yoongi says and opens his arms, beckoning for him, " Are you done?"

Jungkook stare for a second, blinking his tears away, and nods before burying his head on the older crooks.

"Want to go home..", he whispered as he clutch his fingers tightly on the older's shirt.

" Okay, Kook", Yoongi whispers, patted his back gently, rubbing comforting circles in his back, " We'll go now", he said as they walked away.

The rest of it went like a blur for him. He remembers a bunch of people asking him if he was feeling okay, what happened, etc, but Yoongi shut them up away, sternly asking the director to wrap up the shooting.

The next thing he know, he's already in the van, sandwiched between Jimin and Yoongi.

"We're going home, Kook-ah", he heard Jimin says softly.

"Yeah..", Jungkook answer. Feeling tired and sleepy.

It has been quite tiring today.

"Sleep now", Jimin said as he run his thumb over Jungkook's sweaty hands. Jungkook nods slowly, starting to doze off as Yoongi's fingers that carding his hair are lulling him off.

He closed his eyes as his mind started to drift off with darkness overtaking his sight, drifting off into sleep.

He didn't know how long he has been sleeping, but he knows that they were still in the van, and he's dizzier than ever.

He groans, blinking his eyes and lifting his head from where it laying against Yoongi's shoulder, that also fast asleep.

He feels dizzy, so much.

There was an odd taste in his mouth— maybe the remaining vomit— It makes everything worse for him.

He tries to shift in his seat—but blame his groggy body that responding to everything slowly— as he just realized how nauseous he actually is, and with the car moving, he suddenly moving his body, it feels like he's going to lose control and throws up right then and there.

As if on que.

He felt sick. So sick. Terribly sick.

A sharp pain on his stomach made Jungkook curl in his seat as he throw up.

A brown watery liquid spraying from his mouth and spurting messily in front of him, staining his pants, his seat, even Jimin's and Yoongi's side a little bit.

His eyes widen, and he could hear someone gasping, but his ears are ringing with adrenaline.

Before he could register anything, his body lurched again, bringing up more vomit.

He didn't even know if its food or drink. But it was a lot of it all at once. Like a wave, washing him with every drop of it.

"Uurrrkk-"

" Eww .. what the fuck—", Jimin curses under his breath when he feels something wet splashing beside him. "Jungkook! Shit "

"Pull over!", Yoongi yells.

The engine immediately coming to halt.

Jungkook could feel Jimin pulling his body slowly from the car, guiding him out for him to continue his vomiting session, " Let it out here, Kook-ah", Jimin says as he crouch beside the younger, running his hand over his back.

Jungkook pant heavily and wipe his mouth as he gags. Again.

"Hyung—", he chokes out before he throws up once more. Expelling the remaining of what his stomach still has. Yoongi is helping him out, wiping his forehead with tissues that he brought along.

It took him few minutes, until he left gagging emptily.

He felt weak—as if all energy leave his body as soon as his stomach stop spewing his guts from all the things that was inside.

" Better?", he heard Jimin softly asks, handing him bottle of water that he gratefully takes a sip, rinsing his mouth to get rid of the foul taste.

After his organs calmed down, thats when everything dawned on him.

"Hyung ...", Jungkook chokes out as tears springing on his eyes.

He feels .. horrible? embarassed? exhausted? You name it.

" 'm sorry..", he continues, his voice cracking, "I make a mess..", he mumbles, looking down on his clothes—the fabric soaked from the liquid he vomited earlier, and he feels his heartbeat accelerating.

His cheeks flushed red, feeling guilt gnaw at his insides.

"It's okay, Kook", Yoongi chimed in, pulling his tired body against him as he hug him tight.

" I'm sorry hyungie ...", Jungkook cries, leaning against Yoongi who rubs his back soothingly.

" I didn't mean to, I'm really sorry ...", Jungkook continues to sobs. Yoongi's words fall empty on his ears, drowning between his guilt and embarrassment.

"Yah, Kook, its fine. You're sick. You can't help it", Jimin said.

Yoongi hummed in agreement. " Are you feeling better now? You think you can continue the ride?"

Jungkook nods, still not lifting his head from Yoongi's shoulder. His fingers unconsciously playing with his hyung shirt.

Yoongi chuckles, "Yah, stop crying!"

"Sorry..", Jungkook mutters quietly, and he feels Yoongi pat his head reassuringly.

"It's fine Kook-ah, the driver and the others has cleaned the seat up, let's go back to our dorm, okay?"

Jungkook nods silently as Jimin helps him stand up from where he's squatting.

He snuggles his head on Jimin's shoulder as they seated, grimaces lightly as the smell of vomit still lingering in the car.

He wants the seat to open and swallow him whole.

Jimin chuckles lightly, sensing Jungkook's distress and embarrassment at once. "Just sleep Kook", he whispers, squeezing his hand. " No one held a grudge after you"

MY FAVE MEMBER. is. no surprise. SONG JIHYO. aka goddess and best at everything. i think i’m very drawn to personalities that always dominate n come out on top. jihyo isn’t really known for being the ace of running man anymore but in my heart she always is :( i also am a HUGE fan of her goddess of luck image like she isn’t as crazily lucky these days bc kwangsoo (icon of misfortune) is gone but if anything makes me believe in supernatural like. the concept of LUCK being a real force in the universe it would be because of her. the way she overcomes odds n comes out on top despite being a bit of an underdog in many situations is SO hot to me. here’s some pictures of her

she’s like. u know how george is like effortlessly pretty despite being just so idc about it? yeah thats HER like she doesn’t give a shit she just wakes up rolls out of bed n goes to work. she falls asleep everywhere too. one time they played giant jenga and one of them had to be on top of the jenga as a ‘risk’ for the jenga tower dying n at the time running man was 6 men 1 woman (her) and they asked her to do it bc they were all scared n she’s the bravest member (she once bungee jumped off a 233m tall building to HELP one of them she literally didnt have to either she just went WEEEEE they all worship the ground she walks on out of respect shes just so cool)

like???? shes so funny. my second favorite member is kim jongkook n my fave pair on the show is them both :) jongkook is the super jacked guy whos also really smart n good at everything. like u know how whenever george/sapnap/anyone dying screams for dream to help them when they need saving in minecraft? thats like every running man member w jongkook

ANYWAY FAVE EP…. there are so many. i swear to god. but if i were to recommend episodes to start w i’d say the superpowers episode? when they all had superpowers n had to fight to the death (ep74) and the second yoomes bond ep (ep91, i LOVE yoo jaesuk my beloved nation’s mc), the princess race ep (ep103), n park jisung soccer eps (95, 96, 97) OH FUCK THE ZOMBIE EP WHEN THEY WERE IN HIGH SCHOOL WAS FUCKING SICK TOO (ep98) and like uhhhh the baseball ep!! (ep119) and i’ll stop here bc the second people realize i have many episode numbers memorized i’ll look like a crazy person

BUT TO BE FAIR running man is the most popular korean variety show ever these mfs are straight up like A KPOP GROUP. they’ve held fan meetings which r straight up CONCERTS they sing dance etc etc they’re CRAZY u don’t GET IT they are a PHENOMENON,,, jackie chan was on this show RYAN REYNOLDS N TOM CRUISE WERE ON THIS SHOW

running man is literally what happens if u put a bunch of singers, actors, and comedians together n made them do crazy shit (literally everything under the sun has happened on running man. name anything PG. they prob did it on running man) AND THEY BECAME A FOUND FAMILYYYY and its so funny

i think joongki is so sweet n my beloved but i think ultimately him leaving helped the RM dynamic tighten up?? n it improved bc of it?? idk tho maybe itd be just as good if he stayed. i also was a tiny bit upset when gary left n it hurt the show for a while :( gary was so funny but also I HATE MONDAY COUPLE. FUCK MONDAY COUPLE IT TRAPPED JIHYO FOR SO LONG I HATED THAT SHIT. like its so crazy too bc imo they should never have had a loveline but if anything… do it w jongkook the one guy whos actually hot n has enough chemistry w her? they literally were called a ‘power duo’ all the time like brooooo i was so oppressed for liking their dynamic :( BUT HAHAHAHAHAH NOW JONGKOOK N JIHYO R FLIRTING ON THE SHOW ITS SO FUNNYYYY like yaaaassss straightbaiting 😍 its so funny too like there were times when monday couple was a Thing so the other members couldn’t “ship” other pairings but sometimes jongkook n jihyo would be so sus that they couldn’t help BUT say something u know but NOW ALL THE MEMBERS ARE FREE. yoo jaesuk risks his life every week to ship them and the others LOVE to fucking tease them

also kwangsoo leaving made me really sad but his injuries were too bad for him to risk his body every week like that :( all the members have slipped disks n severe back problems because of all the ways they hurt themselves making the show :( i hope kwangsoo comes back to guest soon tho like hes not Permanently gone the way gary is like gary straight up refuses to ever be on running man ever again LOL

also i like somin and sechan :D i admit i do prefer old running man dynamics but the current family is v cozy!! i think their loveline is sweet but i also think its HILARIOUS how the members mostly jaesuk don’t “care” as much about it like in that well get together sure but what we’re REALLY here to do is make fun of jongkook n jihyo ^_^ like they r cute its sweet ALSO somin being added is SO good bc YAY more than one woman also THEIR DYNAMIC IS SO CUTE like anyone remember that time they sabotaged each other in the game where they were competing by kissing each other?? good times
