Ash -  Brown skin and deep brown downturned eyes. Thick black wavy hair. If male, hair is mid-back length and half up in a loose bun; if female, hair is shoulder-length and parted to the side; if nonbinary, hair is short and parted in the middle with curtain bangs. Wears casual sporty clothes and gold jewelry, including multiple ear piercings. 5'7.

Blake - Olive skin and deep-set amber eyes. Straight brown hair. If male, hair is in a short quiff haircut. If nonbinary, hair is in a short mullet with fade. Wears business casual or casual clothes. 5’10.

Jo - Light, freckled skin and round gray eyes. Thick sandy blonde hair cut in a shoulder-length shag. Wears retro style ‘smart casual’ clothes. 6’0.

Mac - Light brown skin and black almond-shaped eyes. Tightly curled black hair. If male, hair is in short two-strand twists or a twist out. If female, hair is in shoulder-length flat twists or a twist out (worn in a low bun at work). Wears sturdy workwear clothing and baseball caps. 5’11.

Toks - Dark brown skin and dark brown round eyes. Coily black hair, currently styled in medium-length goddess braids in black, dark blue, and dark red. Wears bright, colorful clothes with many beaded gemstone bracelets. 5’9.

ash's is the longest cause they have the most gender options, jo's description feels so short in comparison but oh well,,

alsoo I am very white and have very straight hair so if any of the descriptions or hairstyles seem off, i'm totally open to criticism or suggestions!

as some of you already noticed, the laidback/intimidating and independent/collaborative stats have been overhauled from the game. don't be alarmed; it was a decision on my part. i've decided to get rid of them because i didn't feel like they added much to the story in terms of flavour text and also, doing this gives me space to focus on enhancing the other stats.

I absolutely adored this part not only for the great angst (that's how you easily win me over), but also because it unexpectedly provided an opportunity to delve into a significant aspect of my MC’s background. I've chosen to develop her with a tendency towards recklessness, almost bordering on "suicidal tendencies", though she remains unaware of it. Having grown up surrounded by constant threats, danger has become ingrained in her life, leading to a diminished sense of fear.

In the face of adversity, she has embraced a philosophy of "acceptance," allowing her to adapt easily to new perils but leaving her hesitant to confront dire conditions head-on. I think it's fascinating to explore how she suppresses her anguish, offering a unique perspective on her resilience.

As the story unfolds in future chapters, I envision my main character's growth influenced by Kian's concept of immortality which could present a compelling opportunity for her to evolve and navigate her internal strugge.
