#even zim isn't safe from zim
emeraldspiral · 2 days
Text
AU where Zim is human and the RoboParents are his real parents but the way they treat him isn't played for laughs, he's just straight up being abused by a pair of control-freaks who constantly yell at him and punish him for being "disobedient" or "disrespectful" even when he isn't doing anything. So he imagines himself as an alien plotting a violent conquest of the world to make himself feel powerful as an escape from his terrible home life.
You can take it in any direction you want. Make it a hurt/comfort ZADR story where he sneaks out to go to Dib's place as a refuge and eventually moves in with the Membranes where he feels safe and loved. Or Dib can be an additional source of torment in his life and it's a Dead Dove Horror/Thriller story about him doing horrible things to vent his frustrations that gradually get worse until he becomes a full blown serial killer. Or maybe a combo of both where Zim snaps and kills his parents but Dib stands by him and helps him hide the bodies/escape from the law but neither of them are sure if Zim's crossed a line he can't walk back and will inevitably kill again because getting rid of his parents didn't resolve his anger issues, or if he can live a better life with a fresh start given to him by Dib's love and compassion.

i'm thinking on tak/takship again. like
Tumblr media
"downloaded personality interface" would indicate that this isn't just like an emergency backup cued in response to tak's own absence, especially given that it takes a zim-genic power surge to activate takship's consciousness in spite of the spaceship equivalent of gross motor control already having come back online - takship seems to be like, tak's own personal weirder clippy, and given that the spittle runner itself was likely tak's getaway off dirt i would be willing to bet from tak's own descriptions (50 years elapsing not just escaping but tracking zim down and assembling resources) that this would place the time takship's existed (and spent under tak's service) in the decades
from how fucking mad takship is to find dib attempting to pilot her too, down to the specific wording, i doubt she had many qualms about that time, and that's got to have been both a massive power trip and a massive sense of security for tak: like, even lacking any humanoid form, this is a pseudo-sapient of tremendous physical power and equal mental prowess as herself - minus any falterings as the results of organic frailty, like exhaustion, pain, or hunger - who fiercely serves and defends her every personal ambition when people of her height and standing cannot ordinarily expect support even approaching that caliber (if they can expect to receive support at all)
even as early as like, the very initial post-getaway - i imagine when you're leery and paranoid that someone may have noticed you abandoning your terrible post or worse, that they might hunt you down and bring you back to it against your will, it would be a strange kind of reassuring to hear your own unwavering voice promising you'll be kept safe even and especially if this ideal copy has to shelter you inside their own form to do it

1: Do the irkens not regret destroying and concurring the lives of other planet species? Is there no punishment for them in the afterlife for this crime?
2: Arugula, what do you look like back in your training days? We’re you always tall or did you grow into it? Also, what got you into keeping the birthing drones in your chamber instead of one for themselves? What started this and how come no one tried to take them way before your death?
3:Dib how did you get from skinny to looking like your dad so quick?😅
4:Soxx you predicted that you Hitz Kii would end up the way you are as control brains. How did you bring this up to her? Did she take it seriously or a joke?
5: Zim….why are you so short?🫤
1. MANY Irken soldiers/ veterans, slave drivers, invaders and even many tallests DO feel a deep sense of guilt and remorse for the people they hurt/ enslave/ bring to extinction. They just have no socially acceptable way to express these feelings or can even find a safe place to discuss these issues.
Commander Poki and Invader Larb struggle to live with themselves after their successful invasions. I cannot find the posts I made about those two discussing this topic to save my life. (I REALLY gotta go through this blog and organize...)
Irkens are similar to humans in the sense they want to be good. Unfortunately you really can't BE good or bad, only do good or bad things. What defines an act as good and bad is subjective to the culture you're raised in.
Irkens, like humans and pretty much ALL lifeforms are also are driven by a need to survive. Irken morality doesn't always align with human morality. Human morality differs from culture to culture and across time periods. I try to keep that in mind as I develope my aus. Not to claim my drawings/ writing isn't biased in any way, it most certainly is. I'm just one human, not a worldly one at that.
ALL actions have consequences and every Irken will experience the consequences of their actions; sometimes sooner while they're alive, sometimes later after they pass on. It's a case by case basis.
2. Arugula "I was always slightly above average in height. I experienced my first massive growth spurt sometime midway between my 3rd and 4th decade. I was still working as an on-call foot soldier and a full-time sanitation drone at the time.
When I eventually was measured tallest of my hive, I started keeping birthing drones in my chambers out of tradition.
A tallest is expected to house and provide care and snacks for the hive's birthing drones during the fertility festivals until at least the day of the birthening. The tallest's chambers is supposed to be the most secured area of an Irken hive and large enough to accommodate a small legion of drones.
I grew to enjoy the company of my birthing drones via interaction. Who would not become entranced by such loveliness and primal strength? Any tallest worthy of their stature would house, protect and cherish the drones who replenish their workforce and military.
SEVERAL other tallests declared war against me and launched heavy raid attacks on my hive in an attempt to steal my birthing drones; including my sister, Jamjam.
She was experiencing an alarming population decline. Perhaps I could have... should have been more willing to give her or sell her a few of my birthing drones, but... she could have been more willing to agree to my terms of a proper alliance. Politics can be so UGLY. Power changed JamJam for the worse. She would say the same about me, I'm sure.
At the time of my second measuring, my hive had the highest population of fertile women. My personal chambers were a prize intensely sought after by my enemies and apparently my allies alike. My faithful soldiers and sentry drones bravely fought off such raids many times. It only took one successful raid to destroy everything.
At this point I can only hope present and future tallests may learn from my mistakes as a ruler.
3. Dib "Uh... I would like to blame genetics. I mean, I AM technically Dad's clone and he's a big guy. It wasn't an overnight transformation either. As a teen, I went through several HUGE growth spurts. I was well over six feet by the time I turned 17. I had, well, still have stretch marks on my hips and shoulders to prove it.
My senior year of high school is when I really started to bulk up. I played football and joined the wrestling team for a while. Dad enjoyed me playing football more than I did. I kind of miss wrestling though. Had to drop it to focus on Uni work. Then, you know, I packed on the freshman 15--"
Zim "And an additional 15 every semester after. Next he'll blame trying to quit smoking and the "medication" his "therapist" prescribed him-"
Dib "I haven't gained THAT much weight."
Zim "Your tits are bigger than Reginald's birthing monkey and the May-Bell's combined."
Dib/ Reg "ZIM!!"
Zim "WHAAAT??!"
Reg "Don't mention my mom's tits o-or ANY of those 3 sets of tits ever again, or you'll have a new mortal enemy."
Zim "Pfft!! You don't threaten me, Dab-monkey. Try again when you grow into a big meaty urth ape like the big meaty urth ape who sired you.
*coughs* Where was I? Oh! The Dib! He grew to such proportions because all he does is "work" and "study" and in between, stuff his face with disgusting Urth food instead of facing off against his greatest enemy."
Dib "I WILL choke slam you, Zim."
Tumblr media
4. Soxx *exhales a deep, spooch-centered wheeze; the closest thing to a laugh he can muster*
Kii indeed wrote my vision off as a flight of fancy... at first. To my dismay, it took some... active convincing on my part. So much unnecessary bloodshed. BUT, she eventually shared my vision.
My predictions are NEVER wrong."
5. Zim "Why are YOU so smelly?!"
(I'm sorry for the lack of illustrations; I feel like these answers would work so much better with illustrations. I'm just dealing with some landlord drama here recently and trying to finish up some other completely un-related WIPs that desperately need finishing.
I have no idea if all these asks are from the same person or from different people because most are left anonymously. (Which is perfectly fine; I almost always leave asks anonymously.)If I'm neglecting your asks, I assure you, it's not intentional. So many good questions; I appreciate all of them. Please be patient; I'm trying.)

I used to have such a big obsession with him I swear!
Dib (original series) concepts please :)
(By original series I mean the one specifically from the series as there's a few different versions of Dib, like Florpus has his personality tweaked a little)
I'll try my hand at it! Sorry it took so long, aged up of course.
Yandere! Dib Membrane Concept
Main Series
Pairing: Romantic/Platonic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Vague if Platonic or Romantic Yandere, Obsessive behavior, Overprotective behavior, Manipulation, Implied kidnapping, Paranoia, Stalking.
Tumblr media
- Dib's always been an outcast.
- Everyone thinks he's crazy for trying to defend Earth all by himself.
- That him being the 'defender of Earth' is all lunacy.
- Dib knows aliens exist and it frustrates him that no one else shares his sentiments.
- He'd probably be one to obsess over someone who thinks similar to him, or at least tries to befriend him.
- Then he can finally feel as though he isn't crazy.
- "You... You believe in what I say...? Finally! I knew I wasn't crazy!"
- Zim's disguise doesn't fool you so you know something's up.
- The fact Dib also knows makes you befriend him.
- Turns out that may have been a mistake on your part.
- Dib is Overprotective, Manipulative, Paranoid, and Obsessive as a Yandere.
- He takes the whole protector thing to his head.
- While he may be Earth's defender, he also feels he should protect you.
- Friend or something more, it doesn't matter to him.
- He vows to you he'll do whatever he can to protect you and the home you both share.
- Including using technology to watch over you if he feels he needs to.
- "You know just as much as me that our home is in danger. Which means I need to protect you, too."
- No surprise Dib picks fights with Zim over you.
- It's just how he is.
- You really hate how clingy and obsessive he is but it appears there isn't much you can do to snap him out of it.
- Dib has his own agenda, it's nothing you have a say in.
- He just brushes you off when you try to tell him to lay off or stop being so suffocating.
- He's just protecting you!
- You have no need to worry about what he's doing!
- "Trust me, I know how to keep this world safe! You just need to stick by me, okay?"
- He may be overprotective to the point he feels you can't take care of yourself, depending on how far he's gone into his obsession.
- What would you ever do without him?
- There's no reason to push him away... he's trying to help!
- All the while you're ordering him to step away from you.
- You're no longer friends, no...
- You're aware of why he's an outcast now.
- He really IS messed up in the head....
- "(Y/N)? Where are you going?"
- "You need help. The longer I stay I feel I'll be put in danger by you."
- "Put in danger by me? (Y/N), you know that isn't true!"
- "Do I? I'm not sure anymore."
- Trying to leave will be difficult.
- Dib does whatever he can to try and convince you leaving is a bad idea.
- At this point? You could careless about the 'alien' talk he spews.
- You know who the real monster on Earth is...
- Surprisingly, it isn't Zim.
- "Please, (Y/N)! I love you and I promise to protect you. No matter what it takes... even if I have to subdue you."

Aik vs. Iruz - Doomed Timeline (Part Three)
(Featuring @aik-membrane and Gaz from @game-slavers, and mentions of @invader-d1b, @tallest-blue-nerd, and @survivor-zim 's bad version.)
Tw/ blood, violence, death.
"Did you catch them??" Iruz spat.
"No sir, the entire sector was suddenly washed with flames out of nowhere. They must have rigged several explosives. Several of our soldiers were caught up in it, we can't even locate their bodies."
"And the humans?" Iruz said.
"They were in the center of it when it happened. There's no way they could have survived. They're both dead, sir."
Back in the junk bay, the ship was no longer cloaked. Gaz was sitting inside, her right arm bandaged up tight. She was awake, just watching Aik.
Aik was working silently on D1b's laptop. He had a bit of dried blood and a splint on his nose.
It had been almost a week since Aik rescued Gaz from Iruz. Almost two months since D1b stopped communicating.
"How's your nose?" Gaz asked, not moving.
"It'll heal, it's fine," Aik responded simply. "How do you feel?"
Gaz huffed. "Like shit."
"The offer to take you home is still on the table," Aik said.
Gaz shook her head. "No."
Aik shrugged and went back to the laptop.
Gaz watched for a moment. "Do you really believe he's still alive?"
"I do. D1b is smart, and Iruz had many reasons to lie," Aik replied.
"Did you find anything?" Gaz asked.
"Not yet."
Gaz huffed.
"Well, except that the Massive is headed for Earth," Aik corrected.
"That it's what!"
"Yes…" Aik continued. "Iruz has the course set for Earth. I can't triangulate our position or speed, so I have no idea how much time we have before the Massive arrives."
"What so we do! He could blow up the whole planet!" Despite panicking, Gaz was very still because of her arm.
"I'll have to find a way to stop him," Aik said simply.
"We have to find a way to stop him."
"Gaz, you can barely move your arm. You need to let those burns heal," Aik pointed out.
"But… You're right…" Gaz muttered.
"If you had listened in the first place, you wouldn't even be burned," Aik added. "That was uncalled for, I take it back."
"No you're right… I should've listened…" Gaz said with a small sigh. "I'm sorry."
"It's alright, Gaz."
"No its not, we're dealing with an alien invasion! D1b would know what to do… but he's dead…" Gaz whimpered, lowering her head.
"No, he's not." Aik stopped typing on the computer and turned to Gaz.
Gaz glanced up at Aik. "You're just borrowing hope…"
"It's better than borrowing trouble." Aik turned back to the laptop. "At least we know he isn't on the ship."
Gaz nodded stiffly.
"As a matter of fact, we're the only two people on the ship that aren't crazy planet killers currently…" Aik mused.
"What are you getting at…" Gaz muttered.
Aik shrugged. "We have to stop Iruz from blowing up the planet, right? It would be kind of hard to blow up the planet when the ship is blown up."
"Wha… you used all the explosives already?" Gaz said.
"They aren't powerful enough anyway. Even overheating the engine room would only take out a portion of the Massive. Leaving Iruz alive and able to rrebuild. But according to this, there is a self destruct sequence."
"Self destruct?" Gaz repeated.
Aik nodded. "It's still intact too. I can rig up almost everything remotely then it's just getting to the control room to activate the detonation. We'd have to leave the ship and take an escape pod to Earth."
"When do we do this?" Gaz asked.
"As soon as possible. I don't have full access to all the Massive systems yet, I can't figure out how much time we have til we get to Earth. It could be days still, it could be hours." Aik continued to work on the computer.
"... hours?" Gaz sounded scared.
Aik stopped working to look at Gaz. "Listen, if you don't trust me this time, you could die. I need you to follow my instructions and believe I won't let anything happen to you. Okay?"
Gaz nodded stiffly.
"Good. Here's what we're going to do."
After sneaking Gaz into an escape pod and getting her set up safely there, Aik made his way to the control room.
He had snuck in once before, he was completely confident that he could do it again. Gaz had wanted to help, but with her burned arm, it was better for Aik to go it alone.
Who would have guessed he'd end up having to save the planet…
Aik was perched above the control room. The ceiling was high enough, none of the Irkens sensed him and he could see all of them working. There were only two Invaders there currently, there were mostly navigation drones and repair unites. And of course Iruz.
Aik knew he'd have to work fast, Irken antennas were very sensitive and even in the dark, they'd be able to tell he was there. He cut the power again using some tools with his arm.
The control room went dark. Immediately the Irkens began to panic.
"Not again! Find the source and terminate it!" Iruz's angry voice barked at the scattered and confused Irkens.
Using the grappling hook built into his arm, Aik dropped down to the proper control panel. His hand hovered over the keyboard, waiting for the power to come back on. He retracted the grappling hook and unsheathed his knife from his robotic arm. He was prepared.
"I know you're here!" Iruz's voice was somehow clear over loud panicked chatter of other Irkens. "The human! The girl isn't here, find her!"
The power came back on.
Aik pressed the button to activate self destruct timer. Then he promptly stabbed the closest Irken in the chest. Time to fight.
Six or seven Irkens immediately leapt at Aik, PAK legs extended. The two Invaders were at the head.
Aik shot a laser from his thumb at the two Invaders, killing them instantly. The worst threats out of the way now. He blocked attacking PAK legs with his robotic arm, grabbing them and squeezing with all his strength, causing the PAK legs to crack. He dodged a few lasers aimed at him.
"How is the human still alive, you should've already incinerated him!!" Iruz screamed. He was about to leap into the fight when the door opened again and two Irkens dragged Gaz in.
"Hold!" Iruz snapped, noticing Gaz.
All the Irkens stepped away from Aik. He spotted Gaz. "Shit."
"Before you say anything, I came because I was trying to tell you they already blew it up!" Gaz's tone of voice made it clear she was in a lot of distress, she had even possibly been crying. "They killed everyone, Earth is…"
"Earth? Oh that's gone. You just missed the fireworks, we did it almost an hour ago," Iruz laughed. "Ah, such a shame. Kill the girl."
An Irken aimed a weapon at Gaz.
Aik aimed his thumb at Iruz. "Pull that trigger and his brains get splattered from here to kingdom come."
Iruz rolled his eyes, then smirked. "Hold. Kill him first."
All the Irkens aimed their weapons at Aik.
Aik fired the laser at Iruz. It struck Iruz's chest and shoulder, blowing a hole into him. Iruz shrieked with rage and the Irkens leapt to attack again, even letting Gaz go.
"Gaz, shut off the timer!" Aik leapt back into the fight, gesturing to the control panel where the countdown had appeared.
Gaz bolted to a control panel and started trying to shut it down. "It's all Irken!!"
"Go to the left, that one is English now!" Aik broke the neck of one Irken, and stabbed another. A PAK leg nicked his shoulder, but he grabbed it with the robot arm and shattered it.
Iruz finally recovered enough to bark orders again. "Get them!!!!" He was soaked in blood already.
There were still so many Irkens to fight, and they were all coming at Aik. He got hit with a laser in the leg, he managed to deflect most of the blow so that he could still fight. He blocked a PAK leg with his robotic arm again. It stabbed into the metal this time. Aik grabbed at an Irken's throat and his robotic arm began to smoke and sizzle.
"I shut down the timer!" Gaz said with relief. She picked up a gun that had fallen and started shooting at the other Irkens.
One by one, the Irkens were failing. But Iruz must have called back up, the door was being opened.
Gaz noticed however and shot the controls for the door, locking everyone out.
Iruz leapt at Aik, PAK legs bared and screaming with rage. Aik caught two of the PAK legs, one with each hand, and landed a solid kick into Iruz's gut, knocking him back. Besides Iruz, there were two Irkens left alive. Aik stabbed one in the PAK, killing it. Iruz leapt on him again as the second Irken went after Gaz.
Gaz shot the gun at the Irken, but she was out of power. She discarded the gun and grabbed a decapitated PAK leg to defend herself.
Iruz wrestled with Aik, managing to tackle him to the ground. "Give it up, measly human! You'll never win against all of Irk! It's only a matter of time before backup arrives!"
Aik grabbed Iruz's face with his robotic arm and squeezed. His robotic arm was overheating, it immediately began to cook Iruz's face on contact. And the strength left in the fingers tore holes into Iruz's skull. He screamed, unable to pull away.
"That's for D1b!" Aik's robotic arm started to twitch, sparks flew from it. He kicked Iruz off of him and ripped his arm free from Iruz's face.
The last Irken was about to stab Gaz. Gaz yelped in fear.
Aik used the last of the energy from his robotic arm to shoot the last Irken in the head with a laser. It fell to the ground, unable to harm Gaz. Gaz was breathing heavily, staring at Aik.
Aik glanced at Iruz. The bastard was still alive, just writhing in pain.
Aik disconnected Iruz's PAK and stabbed it with another decapitated PAK leg. He then fell to the ground as physical turmoil of the fight caught up to him. His robotic arm had lost all power, it was dented, crushed, smoking, stabbed, and covered in Irken blood. As far as physical injuries, none of them were life threatening to him. Some scratches, burns, and a few fairly minor stab wounds to his leg and shoulder.
Gaz approached Aik carefully and sat near him. She had a few scratches too, but aside from her already burned arm, she seemed unharmed. Aik gave her a weak smile.
"Are you okay?" Gaz asked hesitantly.
"I've had worse, I'll be alright…" Aik sighed. He sat up slowly. "Are you hurt?"
Gaz shook her head. "I'm okay…"
There was a thud from the door. There were hundreds of Irkens trying to get inside.
Aik tried to stand, but he didn't have any strength left. "Earth is gone?"
Gaz nodded slowly. "I found out on the computer after you left… We were too late…" She scooted closer to Aik. "Are… are we going to die too?"
Another thud came from the door.
"Not if I have anything to say about it…" Aik looked to Iruz.
Iruz was still now. The ten minutes were up. His face was mangled beyond recognition. And there was a comm device that fell from his uniform.
Aik moved enough to grab the device and spoke into it, disguising his voice. "Nix on the back up, everything is fine, the power is back on. There was a weapon malfunction as well, but it's been settled. Repeat, return to your posts."
The noises from the door stopped.
Gaz breathed a sigh of relief, hugging Aik without thinking about it.
"Huh?" Aik was kind of frozen by the gesture, but hesitantly hugged Gaz back with his good arm. "You're… not really one for hugging."
"I don't care…" Gaz muttered, trying to hold back tears.
"That order won't hold them forever, I'll send them to the engine room to die or something," Aik patted Gaz's head hesitantly. "You and I are at least safe."
Gaz nodded with a sniff. "Then… it'll just be us on the Massive?"
Aik sighed. "Yes. We can try to establish communications with other species or someone out there, but we can't go back to Earth. Or Irk for that matter. Iruz already killed everyone loyal to Miyuki…"
Gaz nodded again. She was crying into Aik's bloodied coat now. Aik didn't mind, he just let her hug him.
"You did good, kid." Aik patted her head again. "You did good…"
The engine room plan worked, leaving Aik and Gaz entirely alone on the Massive. At least they had access to the medbay healing androids to recover from their injuries, but since it was only them on the ship, they couldn't stay here for more than 6 months before it fell into disrepair. And plus, they still didn't know what happened to D1b.
About a week later, Gaz was resting in the medbay. Aik sat a short distance from her, working on D1b’s laptop. He had access to everything on the ship now, and he was searching all the records to find out what happened to D1b.
"It's hopeless, Aik, give it up…" Gaz muttered, hugging her arms around herself.
"I have to know, Gaz," Aik sighed. His eyes lit up. He found something.
Gaz rolled her eyes. "You've been looking this entire time, it's hopeless."
"He's alive."
"Aik, he's not…"
"Yes he is, Gaz." Aik turned the computer screen so Gaz could see it. Footage of what seemed to be D1b sneaking around a ship dock was displayed. He climbed into a nearby Voot and escaped.
"Wait… that… that's him, he's alive!" Gaz squealed excitedly.
Aik nodded with a big grin. "He's alive. And we have six months to find him before we need a new mode of transportation. Other than that, we can take our time."
"This… yeah, he's alive!"
Aik chuckled softly. "He's alive."

thank you so much for asking! it's right here https://jesterspin.tumblr.com/byf it basically is just the basic dni criteria (no nazis, terfs, homophobes, racists, etc etc), dni if you ship irken x child ships (this was from when we were mostly posting invader zim but it still applies now even though we aren't as active in that fandom) and, while not a "dni" just a warning that our interests change a lot and this isn't a good blog to follow for consistent steady content :p thank you again for asking! i really appreciate it :)

LEAVES.
Pipes my beloved hello
Originally I was going to use Dead Weight, but since it's still in progress, and I want to avoid having to spoiler my files, I'll use Re: MHNY as my example. 'Behind the scenes' previews incoming.
Long answer below the cut. You hath been warned.
Since my tweens I've gotten a LOT more organized about my writing and editing, both because I want a better output quality of story, and because my memory is way more shit than it used to be, and I don't want to lose any ideas simply because I can't remember my train of thought. So I tend to jump between just word-vomiting, a bulleted list of major events, and then go in and organize whatever I just wrote into a coherent timeline. I would say 90% of my editing actually starts with the prep work.
For example, and for starters, this is what the original bullet draft looked like for Re: MHNY. Since I knew I wanted to mimic the original MHNY, but still incorporate the necessary revisions, I wanted to keep in mind the completely necessary parallels while writing so I didn't miss anything.
From there, I start making revisions and throwing darts at the wall for ideas.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here's an example of some of the revisions. Anything with a (?) next to it was an idea I wasn't firm on. Although realistically, the entirety of this section was just spit balling, and nothing was really firmly in place. You'll note that this isn't in chronological order at all, lmao. The order was essentially what I felt most immediately needed clarification.
You'll also notice some elements were unclear. A lot of it was asking myself questions that needed narrative, sensible solutions. Also, some details changed! Skoodge originally was hanging out with the Resisty during his capture. I had a loose idea of them being in a community cell, such as is shown in Enter the Florpus's Moo-Ping 10, but then felt like it'd create too many problems with why the Resisty wouldn't just kill some Irkens for vengeance. I also felt like Tak probably would've caused too many problems with any budding friendships between them, so obviously, in the final version, they're separated, and Skoodge's reasons for joining end up being far more personal than just because he's kind of dumb and friendly.
For Re, because I needed/wanted the chapters to run so closely in parallel with the original MHNY, I also had chapter summaries. I don't usually do this, but for this iteration, and in this context, I felt it was necessary.
Tumblr media
Here's an example for Ch 3. Notice the highlighted portion emphasizes that I hadn't yet made the decision on who was doing what at this point. I wrote/started versions for both. In the end, it ended up being Zim of course who comes up with the lie, but this decision I remember actually was made with a LOT of debate for/against Gaz and/or Zim being the instigator.
Tumblr media
Here's another example of some of more major revisions that happened from the original plot. I actually have a ton of deleted scenes from ch 9 + 10 that used this original plot. However, as I started writing, I didn't like it anymore. So in the middle of writing 9, and some major chunks of 10 started, I scrapped the whole thing and wrote and wrote and wrote until I got something I was satisfied with. I thought Dib being there for support was a lot more meaningful to his and Gaz's relationship than him just showing up to one-up Zim.
At some point I may release those deleted scenes the way I did with MHNY 3, as I did keep them all, but for now, they are safely stowed away in my google drive for me to scowl at and berate for not being good enough. A quick glance shows me I have about 5505 words in that file (aka about as much as a chapter's worth of deleted or unused content). Some of it was actually even shifted into Re:MHNY2, as I felt the dialogue was more appropriate for a more mature relationship. As a fun fact, there's deleted scenes for Ch 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17 (pt 1), and 18.
The reason I kept all these is because I am deranged, and deleting them from existence hurt my feelings, but I also didn't want to publish them. So I hoard them like the little emotionally attached dragon I am.
Finally, sometime before, during, or after all this drafting happens, I actually just start writing. I write in whatever order I want. I have and will jump from the last chapter to the first, to the middle, to the semi-middle-beginning-ish with no concern whatsoever about chronology. A lot of times I will write an interaction between two characters that I feel fits better during a different timeline and just copy it over to that chapters document.
Tumblr media
Each chapter gets it's own document. If I want to write something where I'm not sure of its position, it goes into a document labeled Random, Blank Document, or something else to emphasize that it's not a chapter and just random blurbs that need to be sorted at a later time. Those documents each get headings inside that I can jump to if/when they get sorted into the story, and are ready to be placed.
Since this is a competed story, all the scenes have been placed, so I'll use Dead Weight's current random blurb document (one of several) as an example (barely any spoilers)
Tumblr media
If you're familiar with Google Docs, you'll know you can make headers within your document to jump to. It's super convenient for me, as a person who just likes to do the equivalent of throw pages on my floor and then painstakingly order them at a later time.
Just for fun, here's just how many documents I have dedicated solely to written scenes that are to be sorted at a later time for Paradorx:
Tumblr media
You'll also see there's a calendar and a plot outline in that screenshot that was definitely on purpose and not the result of me just being too lazy to crop it out.
Once the actual draft is written, with words and paragraphs and everything, it gets revised.
Paragraphs get moved. Dialogue is taken out, revised, or thrown somewhere else that I feel fits it more appropriately. Grammar is changed. I reread every chapter about as much as I can stand to, take a break (ideally) and then read it again. I have deleted entire chapters, started entire chapters over, left a chapter halfway finished and decided it will pop up later in the story, etc. Dead Weight's next chapter for example has been restarted 4 or 5 times at this point, and I've only just now stumbled this week stumbled into what the next chapter is actually about.
Once it's been read, reread, reorganized, and picked apart until I hate it, it's deemed ready. Then I sit on it another week or so (depending on my deadline), read it again, and decide whether or not I want to add in any extra tidbits of foreshadowing for some later event that I've already written. At that point I'm just skimming for errors, grammatical fumbles, or anything that seems out of place. Finally, from there, publication!
An incredibly long answer that I hope really scopes out what I'm doing lmao.
As a spoiler/teaser for reading all of this, I can say that Re:MHNY2 is currently past the drafting phase, and is now in the "I throw words at the screen" phase. Not yet at the phase where I actually start ordering them into coherent chapters, but still developmentally in a good area.

Skelethom - Welcome!
Tumblr media
About me (๑'ᴗ')ゞ
Hello everyone! I'm Skelethom (Thomas, Thom or even Tom! Or whatever nicknames you come up with! I love nicknames), i go by he/him. I was born on November 19! I'm a scorpio, and my home country (who i never left) is Brazil, my first language is Portuguese, but i learned english all by myself (that's why it's so bad Lol), i also know a tiny lil bit of Spanish, French and Italian (but not as much as english).
My illustrations are made on my Phone (that isn't very good) using my finger to do so, same with the lil animations i make, i joined the eddsworld fandom in 2014/2015, started fully posting on Amino and Musical.ly but moved to Instagram, Twitter (but i deleted my posts) and Musical.ly turned into TikTok and i kinda never left so yay!
I have accounts on multiple websites but my nickname is almost never the same, i try to put "Thom" somewhere in my name but sometimes it doesn't work so it goes to my bio.
And also through my posts i got the chance to meet a lovely girl who i have the pride to announce as my girlfriend (who sometimes i call a wife since she'll have to get used to it) @doktorspiele-be , you guys should check her art, just saying.
Tumblr media
Interests ꉂ(ˊᗜˋ*)
I simply love miniatures, they're adorable! Any and all kind of tiny stuff, i love dolls specifically porcelain ones!
My favorite character from eddsworld is Tom, i love pringles, my favorite dessert is oreo ice cream sandwich and a breakfast i like to eat once in a while is grilled cheese with chocolate.
I think gastronomy is amazing even though i barely know how to cook.
I love skeleton guys like Sans from undertale, Lewis from mystery skulls, ghost rider, Grim reaper from the Grim adventures of billy and mandy.
Which also reminds me that another one of my favorite things is "Old" animation, basically 2000’s cartoons! Jhonny bravo, KND (Kids Next Door), Cow and Chicken, Invader Zim, Courage, Dexter’s laboratory and ETC.
I like emoticons, Roleplay and RPGʕ ㅇ ᴥ ㅇʔ!
I also have an interest in Gore, Torture (both physical and mental) and virus/infections!
Tumblr media
DON'T (•ˋ _ ˊ•)
I'll say both what i don't do and what i don't want anyone doing around here.
I don't do Matt related requests! (Unless it's someone's self insert, in that case i can CONSIDER MAYBE doing it).
I don't do criminal weirdo shit neither do i want you guys asking for this kind of Stuff, if you support or like it unfollow me and go to the nearest police department :3 (P3do, Zoo, Necro and ETC).
Don't want ANYONE to fight over shipps on this account, this is a safe place for everyone (except the previously mentioned weirdos) so no shaming over something so silly as who they think would make a cute couple!
DON'T shame headcanons! "Oh but this is so inaccurate cause in the ep [..] He said" i don't care, let people have fun, let me have fun, and you can have fun without fucking everyone elses experience.
I don't like Ellsworld so i don't do Requests (again it depends on Self insert so i MIGHT do it).
I do not like video with sudden loud noises and i do not like jumpscares.
DON'T LIKE AT ALL: the owl house, helluva boss, hazbin hotel, viviziepop, muder drones, ANY minecraft smp’s, eddsworld beyond and maggots.
THIS POST CAN BE EDITED AT ANY MOMENT! WAAAA
Σ(゚Д゚;)
But by now this is it! Buh bye!

Hi! I haven't been that active in fandom that much anymore but if you don't mind who tf is this 'pee girl' I've been seeing all over my dash?
I don't mind, anon- though I do warn ya, it gonna get a little concerning:
Pee Girl is a nickname we use for the user, fairlyoddfriendshipspoofandfoop, formerly known as plaggandadrienbondingisthebest, and her nickname um....comes from a kink I will not spell as I don't wanna lure the community here, but it uh, concerns peeing basically....and she earned the nickname after it was found she was drawing fanart and writing fics with this kink and....Plagg, Duusuu and Adrien, one of which is a minor, and she's also been supportive off Invader Zim pee kink, a show that involves minors still, and when called out, defends it with how she's doing it in a safe manner....ignoring that in reality, children cannot consent to her pee kink.
But if you thought that was all, oh boy- say you don't like Adrien and your pretty vocal about it or you write a salt fic, chances are you just earned a spot on her hit list of people she'll stalk on either tumblr or alternate tumblr if you're got her blocked, and she'll screenshot your blogs and post about them on her blog, only reblogging a couple of times the posts directly, one of which was to oddly curse at Harriyanna, a youtuber who does good videos on topics including ML, in badly worded russian....cause Harriyanna called out Adrien's poor writing. And while discussing Harriyanna, Pee Girl basically stalked and harassed her on not only tumblr, but also IG and youtube, making multiple accounts on youtube even to do so when Harriyanna blocked her and even tried to impersonate other people Pee Girl didn't like to do so, just to ruin them a little, and its gotten to the point Harriyanna's had to call the police on her. And Harriyanna is not the only user she's stalked and harassed- she's also stalked others including zoe-oneesama, Rjalker and Lady-LB, with her stalking of Lady-LB extending more then a year by the looks of things, as she still gets mad at Lady-LBs fic, The Liar And The Broken Balance. She's also called Rjalker the R slur, when Rjalker is autistic and so is Pee Girl, but it should be noted that does not give her the right to call others the R slur, and still harassed Rjalker over fanfics....cause Pee Girl apparently can't move the fuck on.
And in terms of fanfics but also uh, Marinette, she's also wished harm on Marinette via...wishing Marinette would be R worded by....bugs, and used as a breeding source.....on someone's fanfic.....yeah....and about Marinette.....she has a hate for her, if that wasn't obvious. But uh, her hate is concerning- say you post positive Marinette stuff or Lady Noire stuff, she'll get pissed at you and reblog with how much she hates Marinette or give backhanded compliments. She has a particular hatred for Lady Noire though, as it means Plagg and Marinette are friends and according to Pee Girl's HCs, that isn't possible, as Pee Girl uses Plagg as her self-insert to hate on Marinette to the point via Plagg, she's threatened to harm Marinette....for apparently being a jerk to Adrien. And wishing harm on Marinette is something she specializes in....to the point she cheered on Gabriel in the 100th episode and has said Marinette's sick in the head to the point she cant get help and basically gets bitchy at ANYTHING Marinette does in canon. Why you may ask??? Cause she's mean to poor Adrien....and basically uses the stalking thing constantly which while fair to call that out, does not excuse the amount of hate Pee Girl speaks about Marinette.
But don't worry, she also hates Alya and Alix....cause they were mean to poor Adrien- you sensing a pattern here? She insists the Alya thing is also cause she's apparently a poor friend to Marinette, which while it is true Alya can be questionable at times with Marinette, does not excuse Pee Girl's levels of hate. And Alix....yeah, no, she just hates Alix cause future Alix was mean to poor wittle Adrien.....not like future Adrien broke her miraculous or anything....but no, Pee Girl is all prissy about anyone wishing Bunnix would return.
And due to Alya hate, she does get racism accusations....but don't worry, anon! ....She likes Kagami....I ain't joking, she used that as a defense once.....and only seems to like Kagami in the context of how nice Kagami is to Adrien....so that probably could end up changing as soon as Kagami is mean to Adrien. She also uh, has an OC with the surname....Dreadlocks.....said OC is white, and does not even have that hairstyle....so uh, yeah, you can imagine what's wrong with that one. She also likes Chloe and Felix and Lila, which while okay, is hypocritical when you realize how much she goes out of her way to hate Marinette, Alya and Alix, insisting that Chloe, Felix and Lila can change....but somehow Marinette, Alya and Alix can't.
And while minor, she's definitely iffy with some of the fandoms LGBT+ ships, mostly the ones concerning Marinette and Alya....for obvious reasons, including reblogging some art of Alya X Kagami with some comment about how she's not sure about this ship....cause apparently we needed to know that. .....Did I forget to mention she's in her 20s and doing all this? Yeah, she's in her 20s and doing all this.
So uh, yeah, I might be missing some stuff which in that case, I do welcome people to add onto this, cause I likely forgot somehow, but this is kinda the run down, anon, who Pee Girl is and why no one likes her and wants her off the internet at this rate.

"DIB! BEHIND YOU!!"
A loose laser blasts Dibs back dead on, sending a deadly shock through his body, making him scream before going completely limp. Collapsing forward, Dib falls off the railway. Being knocked around by a few wall ridges on his way down before hitting the ground like a ragdoll with a horrible thud.
Completely filled with adrenaline, Zim's Pak sprinted into action. His mechanical spider legs took short care with the large alien he was fighting. He maneuvered their body and used it to jump off the railway towards Dib. With the feeling of thin wind rushing around his body, Zim's pak legs with an ear bleeding shriek dug into the stainless steel wall of the giant spaceship corridor all the way down near Dib. He unclings himself from the wall, leaving behind incredibly thin, but deep claw scars on the wall and dashing towards Dib.
"Come on Stink-Beast! What are you doing?! Get up!!" Zim commands the body, only to remain completely still. Checking the perimeter, the sights and sounds of more guards fills his skin with fear. Zim holds his palms to his temples with a frustrated groan and picks Dib up over and around his chest.
The spider legs spring into action again, quite literally, and he jumps his way up towards the wall away from the guards. Somehow being able to get a good distance up while being shot at, Zim uses one of his Pak legs to pierce and cut through the metal plating of the wall like fabric, and burrows into a now visible vent within the ship. Like a desperate caged animal, he sprints into the darkness without a single ounce of hesitation.
Everything got darker, the sounds of the gunshots began to slowly fade away as he scampered through the tight vents like the little insect he was. However, they were still far from safe. Scanning through the system of tunnels, Zim finally finds a decently sized pocket where there was little risk to being found or ambushed. A good place to stop and regain themselves, if not for only a few minutes. Zim with a whiny grunt, practically tosses Dib into a circular crevice in the wall, acting as at least a functional seat. He was still unconscious. His coat was singed and smelled of smoke. Robotic legs retract and fold back into Zim's Pak and Zim takes the now more cleared up space to get closer to and investigate Dib.
"You can't trick me Dib-pest! You stupid human, there's no time to rest! The Great Powerful Zim demands you rise for him at once!!" Zim screams, shaking his head and fists in frustration at the lifeless body. Taking this as a challenge, he continues to work himself up and argue with Dib's body.
He yells, he insults, he does everything he can, but still… nothing.
No matter how much he tries to pick a fight with him, silence still remained. As Zim's voice echoes with an eerie gust through the metals pathways, Dib remains still. The deafening silence in response to his pleas stabs Zim's chest with a sharp claustrophobic shock, making him feel like he's shrinking. As if everything is suddenly much bigger and dangerous now.
Zim paces in an anxious march across the small confinement, contemplating the situation. Anxiety continues to grow like spikes in his chest as he tried to think of a way out of this feeling. Zim has never seen Dib be this quite before, so… unlike himself. It disturbed him. Not only does he have absolutely no idea what to do, but he doesn't have anyone else with him to prove otherwise. He was alone. He was terrified.
Zim, gently pulls Dibs coat off to get a better look at the damage. As he took it off, the back of the coat put up a little more of a fight, and peeled across his body like a gross bandage then any kind of fabric, leaving behind a smoky burnt mark on his shirt and body. Zim cringes anxiously and tosses the now ruined coat behind him.
He attempts to fight him once again as he gets to work on treating the wound. "Come on Dib, this isn't fair! I agree to form a meaningless alliance cause I take pity on you, and this is how you repay me!!" ...silence followed again, Dib's lifeless expression remaining still. A slight chill runs down Zim's back and he continues. "If this is supposed to be what your Earth concept, friendship, is supposed to be, then I'd say this is a lousy example of what you previously explained it to me as!" It was clear no matter how much he shout, it didn't do a thing.
"You… you are getting up soon right?". "...Dib? ...Dib. Dib we have to go now!"
Zim reaches back for the opening. He's so used to leaving humans behind, even Dib. This shouldn't be so hard. Yet when he looks out into the dark abyss of what's to come, his legs freeze in place. Every infamous rumble and disturbing sound shakes the walls and sends Zim one step closer backward, back towards Dib. The ship feels like it's grown hundreds of times in size, complexity, and darkness, and the thought of having to navigate through it completely alone makes Zim's eyes sting.
He turns back toward Dib, shaking, and what were once insults and demands devolve into desperate pleads and whimpers. "You can't leave me here Dib, you have to come back! You have to!" His body shakes more intensely. Now leaning towards Dib, he crumbles closer to the ground. Tears swell in his eyes as he fights his sobs. "Dib!... Dib…" Zim's voice finally grows faint. He clenches his head in strife, he can't fight off the anxiety any longer. Tears fall as Zim is now completely worn down into a ball of fear. He feels the whole world around him go dark, disappear. Nothing but him and his agony remained now.
Time feels to turn to stone, and Zim is left helpless. As he squints his eyes tighter, a slightly warm presence fades him. A few incoherent mumbles makes his antenna prick up, and he suddenly feels he's being watched. Zim leans his head upward, his neck creaking with tension as he struggles to focus his eyes through the tears.
He finally anchors himself towards the presence in front of him however, and there he sees Dib. Sitting upward, looking straight at him with a frazzled expression.
Zim jumps backward instantly, and turns away from the human to wipe his eyes ferociously. There's no way he could've seen him like that!
Zim turns back with his previous fury returning stronger than ever. "WHAT CRUEL PATHETIC SKEME WAS THIS DIB?! YOU MANIPULATE ME TO YOUR CONTROL TO GIVE UP MY DIGNITY!"
"I DIDN'T MANIPULATE YOU TO DO ANYTHING!! I WAS THE ONE WHO GOT SHOT!" Dib's ever too familiar voice strikes back at him. Suddenly the air and light around Zim clears. The walls stop simultaneously growing and shrinking around him. Suddenly, even though now the pipes were filled with echoes of their shouting at each other. The silence had gone.
The silence was finally gone, and inside Zim's body he feels a warm, bittersweet wave of relief fill his chest.

Top 5 Underrated Characters
Tumblr media
Requested by @pink-wants-to-die
Zoophobia has a lot of characters, doesn't it? Because of that, it's easy for a few to slip between the cracks. Either that, or the only way they get popularity is by Vivz going "hey, they might end up in a relationship with a popular character *wink wink, nudge nudge *" (looking at you Elijah ) I say we discuss 5 of them today.
For this list, I'm looking at characters that personally surprise me as to how few people show interest in them. I'm not just talking about fan art. I rarely see them discussed or anything. However, if a character hasn't gotten a lot of attention from Vivz, then to me it makes sense why no one talks about them, so you won't see anybody like. ...I dunno, Penelope. Anybody here know Penelope? How about Koko, or Calvin? No? Didn't think so.
Usual disclaimer. Zoophobia is owned by Vivziepop. This list is entirely my opinion, and feel free to disagree. All I ask is that everyone remains civil to one another in the notes, otherwise I will steal your spoons.
---------------------------------
I'm going to break habit and announce my 2 dishonorables together since I put them on here for the same reason.
DM 1 and 2: Camilla and Elijah
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ok, so it's not so much I feel as though they have no fans, I feel as though they have fans.....that don't actually give a shit about the characters themselves and like them for reasons not relating to their personalities or anything.
Starting with Eli, let's be honest here guys, how many people actually gave a shit about him before we got the implication that he could potentially be Damian's boyfriend? I mean, once in a blue moon, I'll see someone who says they like his character traits or his design, but that doesn't happen very often. Hell, this happened even back when Eli was green and was called Eiglet. Nobody cared about this character that much. We just got the idea that he could end up with Dame, and then the fandom started to take an interest. I find that incredibly disappointing.
With Camilla, I think we can all agree on one thing. Camilla is hot. I see a lot of people going crazy over her design, and the fact that she's a stripper. Sad part is, there's a lot more to Camilla, and Vivz has done several pieces of artwork depicting this side of her, and yet everyone just goes crazy over tits. Again, it's disappointing.
-------------------------------------------------------
5. Justina
Tumblr media
Ok, so this bitch didn't appear in the comic. Well, she did at one point. Zoophobia originally had this prologue where we meet Justina. However, Vivz deleted this prologue so we can assume that prologue is retconned. You can still probably find re blogs of it somewhere. Still, it makes sense why not a lot of people would know about her, thus why she's at the bottom of the list. However, she still showed up at one point, and fuck it, I see plenty of shit for Mirage who hasn't appeared yet. Also, this is my list.
Justina is interesting to me. She has apparently been exiled in Hell and is forced to watch over dreams, a job she finds tedious. She's also the embodiment of Pride, and mistreats her daughter, Ink. Ok, so reread the second sentence. She got exiled. ...in Hell. A place where there's a bunch of crazies and crime, and that's super loose on rules. This bitch somehow got exiled. Also, the sins run over entire sections of Hell. Justina was a politically powerful figure. So what crime could she have possibly committed to get exiled? Why no one talks about this is surprising to me. Like, can we get some headcannons at least? The other reason I like her, and I know this is petty, but she hates being colourful. Am I the only one who finds the concept of a Vivziepop character despising how colourful they are kind of unintentionally funny? Yes? Ok then.....
-------------------------------------------------
4. Kaycee
Tumblr media
Kaycee's lack of popularity or recognition also came as a surprise. She's basically this story's version of the Cheshire cat. She's the puppet master pulling the strings of characters, kick starting the story. And yet she's neither an evil nor good character. She's morally grey, seemingly seeing the whole story as entertainment for herself. She also seems to be somewhat omnipresent, hiding in plain sight, watching shit go down. The first chapter gave her plenty of panels to shine in, and I'm not sure about the rest of you, but her scenes seemed pretty effective. So why did the fandom collectively forget that this character existed? With a character like Kaycee, you would've thought that the fandom would be abuzz with speculation and theories. Not to mention her connection with Cameron. What does Kaycee see in her? What's her end game? Does she want something, or is all of Safe Haven Kaycee's personal doll house? Come on fandom, what's the hold up?
-------------------------------------------------------
3. Narissa
Tumblr media
Ok, ok, odd choice, I know, and that's partially why she's so low. So why do I think she needs more attention? Because she's high key a major contender for the most badass mom of the comic award. First off, she's the queen of Hell, despite being a mortal and not a demon. She has Lucifer, FUCKING LUCIFER, wrapped around her finger so tight that Vivz has described them as the most lovey dovey couple in the series. On concept alone, I'm already intrigued. And in the comic? Everybody, I want you to look at the panels she appears in, and just notice the body language, posture, facial expression. It could be just me, but Narissa seems to scream "get on your knees before the queen bitch". Also, notice how when Lucifer is full out raging and is about to stab a bitch, while everyone else is fucking terrified, Narissa's just puts her hand up like "Shattup bitch, I'm taking over." Finally, I find her reaction to Damian's actions interesting. I theorized in the past that she may be alright with Dame going to Safe Haven since she kind of gets it, since she experienced something similar in her life, except instead of Earth, she wanted to litteraly go to hell. I think it would actually be really interesting if there were some sort of parallel between Dame and his mum, and that being the reason she lets him do his thing. I see a lot of people give attention to Lucifer and especially Dame, but Narissa is almost always left out. I dunno about you guys, but I vote that we need more Narissa love.
----------------------------------------------
2. Tentadora
Tumblr media
Yeah, yeah, blah blah blah, insert Jessica Rabbit joke here.
In Tentadora's case, I think people tend not entirely get Tenta's character. A lot of people criticize Tenta for not being a good parental figure for Damian despite being so doting to him. And I'm about to blow some people's minds here, but Tenta being a bad parent?
That's the point
Yeah, Tenta is actually a really shitty parent, and this is actually intentional. While she does care for Dame, she spoils him rotten and she's even surprisingly neglectful. She just lets Dame hang on Earth where she knows he'll be in danger. Oh but it's alright. He's happy. That's all that matters right? Even when searching for him, she doesn't take it seriously and would rather goof off than make sure he's ok. This is much more evident in a comic you can find on Vivz's art portfolio. It's done in a way that mimics the Invader Zim art style and stars Dame and Tenta. I'll probably reblog it later, but in the comic, Dame is (as confirmed by Vivz in the description ) not entirely mentally healthy. The kid is litteraly under the impression his dolls are talking to him. And Tenta's reaction? She just tells him he's too old to play with dolls.
I feel that Tenta gets a little too much criticism. Yeah, I agree with the design thing, but a lot of criticism I see towards her personality is criticism I have trouble buying. The whole thing with people asking why she's such a shitty parent is one thing, but there's also the accusation that she not only looks like Jessica Rabbit, she acts like and has the same role as her, when really she doesn't. Look, I don't deny the similarities. But Tenta isn't a clone. She's clearly inspired by and shares traits with Jessica, but she's hardly a carbon copy. Personality wise at least. She's silly, not ashamed of being sexy or inconvenienced by it, and she's far less mature. Can we just. ...I dunno, give the pink robot a break?

Ok, so hear me out. I know I put him on my worst character list. However, remember how I restricted that list to just characters that appeared in the comic? If it weren't for that restriction, Zech wouldn't have made the list. The main problem I had was his stupid decisions. That's it. Also, this character has appeared in 3 out of the five chapters we got. He has a lot of panels to show up in. However, despite this, nobody pays this guy any attention. Except, oddly enough, the NSFW part of the zp community...... Yeah, I don't know either. Still, you rarely see this guy get spoken about or fan works made for him, while characters like Tom who show up once get more attention than he does. I think that this list has shown me how confusing the zp community can be.
Anyway, I'm about to pass out. Hope you enjoyed. Tell me what you think.
I apologize for wasting your time.

Aik vs. Iruz - Doomed Timeline (Part Two)
(Featuring @aik-membrane, Gaz from @game-slavers, and @i-am-spork, and mentions of @invader-d1b, @tallest-blue-nerd, @ukagaka-zim, and @survivor-zim 's bad version.)
Tw/ blood, violence, death.
It actually took two days for them to have an opening to board the ship without being spotted. Gaz was anxious to get inside and upset that Aik was taking so long. But Aik knew that they couldn't afford to screw this up. Not for their sakes, not for D1b's sake.
But once Aik had worked a safe and hidden path, boarding the Massive was easy. Aik landed the ship in a bay meant for trash and junk, and he kept it cloaked. This room was dangerous, very close to the engine room which was hot and loud. If something happened to the ship, this area would be the first place to blow up. And there were some discarded potentially dangerous pieces of tech here.
But they could hide the ship here at least.
Aik opened the hatch and stepped out of the ship carefully, listening for any signs of Irken life.
Gaz cautiously poked her head out of the ship. "Now what?"
"Stay here," Aik ordered quietly.
Gaz climbed out of the ship, shutting the hatch behind her.
"Gaz, I'm serious. This place could be dangerous, you need to stay out of sight until I can find out what happened to D1b and Miyuki," Aik insisted.
"They're my family, I'm coming. Besides, I don't trust you all the way. I need to keep an eye on you," Gaz argued.
Aik sighed heavily. The girl was determined, and if he left her alone like this she would undoubtedly get herself into more trouble. "Alright, fine." He gestured for her to follow him. He pulled up a scanner on his robotic arm to pick up cameras and other tech that might sense them.
"Wait, really??" Gaz squealed.
"Yes, but keep it down and touch nothing. Don't speak to anyone or do anything either." Aik led the way through the junk, looking for the exit.
Gaz huffed, but followed quietly.
"Where do you want to look first?" Aik asked.
"Miyuki's lab. If we can find the medbay, I can find the lab from there," Gaz said.
Aik nodded. Thanks to the arm, he was able to locate an exit fairly quickly. And since Irkens have PAKs, his arm picked them up, alerting him when there were some nearby. Of course he couldn't scan more than a dozen feet around them, but even that was handy.
They dodged a few Irkens, Gaz didn't recognize any of them. But they seemed stoic and unfeeling. Not like Irkens Gaz and Aik had seen before.
Not angry and deadly like Tak, not cheerful and easygoing like other Invaders, certainly not caring and wise like Miyuki.
Once two Irken guards had passed out of their range, Gaz looked to Aik. "What's happening?"
"I don't know. Stick behind me." Aik stepped into the open again, continuing to scan the halls for threats.
"Humans."
"What??" Iruz hissed.
An Irken nodded. "There are humans on board. We can't find them, but their scent is here."
Iruz gripped the Irken around the throat and held them in the air. "Find them and gut them, or I gut you!"
"Y-yes sir!" The Irken sputtered. Iruz dropped them harshly, and they hit the ground with a thud, then scrambled away to do as they were told.
They found nothing in Miyuki's lab, no sign of her. They found the Breach destroyed, the medbay empty, and even went to D1b’s room on the Massive. No sign of anyone.
They hid in D1b’s room to avoid a passing garrison of Irkens. Aik was using D1b’s laptop computer to look for any clues. Gaz was sitting on D1b’s bed, fidgeting with the blanket anxiously.
"Anything?" Gaz asked hesitantly.
"No. Except they didn't know to kick D1b's things out of the system. He still has access to all of the security systems from this computer. Of course he doesn't have permission to adjust anything, but…" Aik continued typing.
"But?" Gaz prompted.
Aik didn't look up from his work. "Nothing a little hacking won't fix. We can monitor the cameras and sensors, even turn them off. It'll take some time… Irken technology isn't easy to hack, but I've done it before with Tak. And since D1b has some permissions granted already, it should be possible. Then I can use all that to see what's happening here."
"How long?" Gaz asked. "Till the hacking is done?"
"It'll take me a few hours," Aik said, glancing at Gaz. "We'll need to stay here for a while. The garrison is still moving around outside. We'll be notified if someone comes too close to us. It's late though, you should get some sleep."
Gaz nodded slowly and laid down on the bed to try to sleep.
Aik continued to work for a bit, but he eventually dozed off as well. He woke up before Gaz in the morning and continued to work.
When Gaz did wake up, she seemed surprised to see Aik awake. "Were you up all night?"
Aik shook his head. "No, but now that you're up, we can head back to the ship, it's safer there."
"Alright…" Gaz said slowly.
"We'll get something to eat at the ship too, or snag something from those snack machines they have here." Aik unplugged the laptop and tucked it under his arm. "Battery fully charged, let's get out of here."
Gaz nodded and stood up, staring at the floor.
"Gaz?" Aik approached her carefully. "Are you alright?"
"I just want my brother back…" Gaz said softly.
"We're going to find him, don't worry," Aik encouraged her.
"Over a month, Aik…" Gaz muttered. "What if he's… dead…"
"We don't know that, take a deep breath, okay?" Aik said.
Gaz shook her head. "Let's just get the stupid hacking thing over with and try to find him…" She headed for the door.
Aik hurriedly stepped in her way. "Wait." He used his arm to scan the hall outside. "Alright, follow me and move quickly." He opened the door and slipped into the hall. Gaz followed closely, glancing around nervously.
Aik eventually gestured for her to stop, he held his regular arm in front of her to almost shield her, backing against the wall.
Gaz froze and pinned herself against the wall. She said nothing.
Around the corner, five Irkens were marching. Four armed Invaders, positioned around a tall Irken dressed in green.
"Spork!" Gaz said in a hushed voice. "That's Spork, he works for Miyuki!"
"Gaz, don't." Aik tried to back her away from the Irkens. They hadn't seen the humans.
Gaz quickly pulled away from Aik. "Spork!" she called out loudly.
The Irkens whirled around and spotted her. Aik managed to duck behind the wall edge, but Gaz didn't even try to hide. She ran right up to them.
"Gaz, why you here!" Spork asked frantically.
"Radio the boss, we found the human intruder," one of the Irkens spoke into a head piece. A second Irken grabbed her arms.
"Ow, what the hell!" Gaz tried to pull herself free, but they were much stronger than her. She turned to Spork to try to ask him what was going on, but then she saw he was in handcuffs.
"Move it, both of you." A third Irken forced Spork and Gaz to move.
"Spork, what's happening??" Gaz asked nervously.
"It… It a Zim, he name Iruz." Spork always spoke in broken English. "He look like Survivor Zim, but he not good."
"Aik was right…" Gaz muttered as she was forced to follow the Irkens. At least Aik got away. She didn't even have a chance to see where he went. "Where's D1b and Miyuki?"
Spork swallowed. "Uhm. My Tallest was taken to the Ukagaka Zim universe. But Iruz got there too and… no good."
"No good?" Gaz whimpered.
Spork shook his head. "No good."
"Wh-where's D1b??" Gaz was desperately trying to hold it together.
"I not know. He was taken to be asked the questions, Iruz caught him. Spork… not see him again," Spork said dejectedly.
Gaz's hands started to shake involuntarily, but the Irken holding her tightened their grip on her to keep her still. She winced and bit her tongue. "Where are they taking us…"
"To see they boss," Spork said. "They finally catch me. I the last survivor of the resist."
Gaz nodded silently. She didn't have the emotional strength to respond anymore.
And it didn't take much longer before she and Spork were both brought into the Massive control room. In the center of what seemed to be a hive of slaves, stood an Irken that looked so much like Survivor Zim. He was glaring at them with a wicked smile.
Spork growled. "Iruz."
"Hello." Iruz's voice was practically dripping with venom.
"You! You killed Miyuki and my brother!" Gaz struggled against the Irken holding her.
"Oh, D1b? Yes, he is quite dead," Iruz chuckled.
Gaz gritted her teeth to stifle an angry scream.
"You is monster Irken, you deserve to be in hell!" Spork spat.
"Wow, so very threatening," Iruz said with a fake yawn. "Look, as much fun as this is, I have a planet to destroy and I'd really just rather kill both of you now." He picked up a large laser gun. "Which one of you gets to die first…"
"You'll never get away with this!" Gaz screeched, struggling.
All the Irkens accept for the one holding Gaz took a step back to get out of Iruz's way.
"Oh my decision is made for me, nice!" Iruz aimed the gun at Gaz and fired.
Gaz winced and squeezed her eyes shut when she saw the laser heading her way. But something or someone stepped in the way and blocked it.
Gaz quickly opened her eyes in time to see Spork collapse in front of her, a hole burned into his abdomen and PAK. He barely alive, but his PAK was ruined. Pink blood was splattered everywhere.
"Spork!" Gaz screamed.
"That… all Spork can do…" Spork coughed and then lay still.
"Spork no! You son of a bitch!" Gaz struggled against the Irken again.
"Oops, I missed." Iruz shrugged and aimed at Gaz again.
The lights and computers suddenly all went dark, swamping the entire control room in black.
"What the hell!" Iruz barked.
"I don't know, sir!"
"We lost power!"
"Get the power back on!" Iruz screamed.
There was a muffled sound of a knife cutting flesh and a body hitting the ground. Gaz yelped.
"There's another human in here, I can sense it!" Iruz barked. "I can smell him!"
The presence of the humans was heading for the exit to the room. The door opened, shedding some light on them leaving. The power suddenly came back on. Lying next to Spork was the Irken that had been restraining Gaz, laying in a puddle of their blood.
Aik had Gaz in his arms and left the room, shutting the door quickly again as several lasers were fired at them. He used something on his arm to lock the door and give them time. He kept Gaz in is arms and started to run.
Gaz was trembling.
"Are you hurt?" Aik asked quickly.
"No." Gaz stifled a whimper. "He… he killed Spork… and Miyuki and D1b… They're dead…"
"Just hold on, we need to get out of here." Aik knew that by now, the Irkens had freed themselves and were chasing the two rogue humans. The sounds of their PAK legs scraping came down the hall.
"What do we do! What do we do!" Gaz yelped and clung to Aik.
"I've got it under control, you just have to listen to me," Aik reassured her, ducking around a bend. He picked a specific place in the hall and sat down with Gaz in his arms.
"They're going to find us!" Gaz was starting to panic. She tried to stand up.
"Gaz, trust me!" Aik used his flesh hand to keep a tight hold on Gaz's wrist, his robotic hand was too strong to hold her.
The scraping of PAK legs was coming closer. Gaz went full panick and punched Aik in the nose, causing him to accidentally let her go. She got up to try to run, Aik was right behind her.
There was an explosion and everything went white. Gaz's arm began to burn, she was almost enveloped by the flames. She screamed and stumbled backwards, Aik caught her and pulled her to a safe distance.
The explosion was all around them, there was no sign of Irkens anymore. But the place they were now was untouched.
The force from the initial blow was enough to knock Gaz unconscious. Aik picked her up carefully, she was burned and bloodied. She shouldn't have tried to run.
"Damn it," Aik muttered.
The initial explosion faded fairly fast and Aik covered Gaz's nose and his own, then vanished in the left over smoke. In his hand he held the detonator still. And once he was far enough, he pressed the button to trigger a final explosion to cover their tracks.

Aik vs. Iruz - Doomed Timeline (Part One)
(Featuring @aik-membrane and Gaz from @game-slavers, and mentions of @invader-d1b, @tallest-blue-nerd and @survivor-zim)
No sign of D1b for almost a month. No sign of aliens, nothing. And from the way Gaz was acting, D1b wasn’t communicating with her. Of course, Aik couldn't ask her, the girl still didn't know he existed. And D1b often left for long periods of time, especially without school to hold him back. But this was… different…
With D1b seemingly missing, Aik rarely left the Membrane house. He knew D1b had left Earth, the only thing Aik had to find him was D1b's ship. Even though Aik knew nothing about space travel in Irken tech, he had made up his mind to give it a try. Just to find his brother. Then he'd come back.
Membrane discovering him and his plan wasn't possible. Membrane didn't even know the bunker with the ship existed. Aik accessed the underground bunker easily and approached the Irken ship, formerly Tak's. He had seen D1b and Tak use the ship enough to figure out how to open the hatch and start the engine. He had brought several supplies and rations in case the journey took awhile, he packed it all up then sat in the pilot seat, preparing for takeoff.
The one thing that Aik hadn't considered was that Gaz would have had the same idea. And the unfamiliar noise of Irken tech covered up the sound of her entering the bunker behind him.
Before Aik had a chance to close the hatch, he sensed that someone was there.
"Who are you?" Gaz sounded exhausted and worried.
Aik quickly turned to her. "Gaz…"
"How do you know my name? How did you get in here?" Gaz stared blankly at him.
Horrible timing to have to explain this… "Look, I'm… I'm D1b’s brother. He doesn't know I'm alive, Membrane's existence has been forcing me to stay away for their own safety."
"You look like him… like Dad… You're a clone?" Gaz remained unmoving.
"I am. Aik. I'm the first clone attempt." Aik watched Gaz carefully. "I've been… watching you and D1b to keep you as safe as I can. That's how I know your name."
"Keeping D1b safe? Do you know where he is then?" Gaz sounded hopeful.
"I… no. That's where I'm going," Aik explained. "Try to find him. When did you last hear from him?"
"It's been three weeks…" Gaz muttered.
"That's too long," Aik said simply.
"I was… going to try to find him with the ship," Gaz added.
"Do you want to come with me?" Aik offered his robotic hand to her.
Gaz stared at Aik's hand. "How do I know I can trust you?"
Aik lowered his hand as he thought. "Do you remember that time when Tak was still at large and D1b turned up unconscious after missing for three days, with a stitched head? And he didn't remember what happened?"
Gaz tilted her head. "That was you?"
"I kept Tak from killing him, yes," Aik said. "I could bring up other times if you wish. But enough time has passed, D1b could need help, so you need to decide fast."
Gaz looked to the ground. "Ugh, I'm not letting you go after him alone. I want to find him and I'm not waiting with Dad, unable to do anything."
Aik moved aside to leave room for Gaz in the ship. She climbed up and sat down next to him, crossing her arms. "I'm going to regret this… I'm going with a random stranger… who's been stalking us."
Aik chuckled slightly as he shut the hatch. "You're lucky I'm not a danger to you. Don't worry, I'll protect you too."
Gaz huffed. "I don't need protection."
"I'm sure you don't." Aik took the controls of the ship and opened the bunker doors remotely.
Gaz hit a button which turned on the ship's cloaking system, making them completely hidden from Earth tech.
"Ah, thanks for that." Aik piloted the ship out of the bunker and into the sky. Earth grew smaller behind them.
"How are we going to do this?" Gaz asked hesitantly.
Aik sighed. "Well, D1b would most likely be on the Massive, right?"
"Hopefully. Miyuki isn't responding either," Gaz huffed.
Aik slowly turned to Gaz. "She's not?"
Gaz shook her head. "I can't get a hold of anyone on the Massive…"
"That's… concerning," Aik said thoughtfully.
"You think???" Gaz snapped.
"Does D1b have a way of locating the Massive?" Aik asked.
"Not that I know of, he can't track it," Gaz said.
"To Irk then. They must know something. Maybe D1b is there." Aik started to search for a location in the navigation system, but quickly stopped. It was all in Irken on the dashboard. "Oh…"
Gaz huffed and clicked a button, everything translated to English.
Aik sighed. "Thanks." He plugged in Irk.
Gaz leaned back in the seat. "This… is going to take awhile. Good thing I brought my Game Slave…"
"I brought plenty of rations as well, there's enough for both of us to last probably close to four months," Aik added.
"I saw that." Gaz pulled out her Game Slave and turned it on, but didn't do anything with it.
"You alright?" Aik asked hesitantly.
"No…" Gaz muttered and put the Game Slave away. "My brother is missing, my mom stopped responding, she could be hurt, Dad doesn't even care, and I'm so desperate to find my family that I'm sitting with a creepy, stalker, adult man that looks like my dad, hoping he doesn't kill me or worse. For all I know, he could be an alien." She shoots Aik a glare. "Or even the reason D1b is missing in the first place."
Aik chuckled slightly. "Well, you trusted me enough to come, there must be a reason you did."
Gaz huffed and looked out the window.
"We'll be on Irk soon enough. Keep trying to contact Miyuki and D1b. It'll be fine," Aik encouraged her, setting the ship to autopilot. "In the meantime, we have plenty of time to talk about whatever you'd like."
"Sir, all communications from Irk have been cut off. The planet is under our control."
"Good. And Lard Nar?" Iruz stood in the control room of the Massive, watching his minions work.
"He took the bait," an Irken in an Invader uniform was speaking. "There's no way the Vortains can survive the attack. One by one, Irk's allies will fall for the same trap. The old ways of the control brains have been reinstated. No planet can stand against the might of the true Irken Empire."
"Not even two months and the galaxy is already failing," Iruz laughed. "Pathetic. Any sign of the former Tallest and her crew?"
"None, the explosion must have killed them," the Irken said.
"Do not stop watching, you never know for sure," Iruz hissed. "That idiot hybrid broke through your defences because you thought he was dead. Do not make the same mistake again."
"Yes sir." The Irken bowed slightly.
"What other planets are left untouched?" Iruz asked.
"Just Earth, sir."
"Perfect. Give the order to pack and leave Irk, then set a course for Earth. I've wanted to blow a hole in that planet for a long time," Iruz hissed with a wicked grin.
"Yes of course, sir."
After a while searching for the Massive, Gaz and Aik had managed to talk about quite a bit. Gaz found Aik's bluntness surprisingly comforting. He was similar to her adopted father in that way, he spoke his mind and didn't sugarcoat things. Aik actually paid attention to important things though. She caught him writing notes a few times during certain conversations. He was making an effort to remember.
She also found his social awkwardness and complete misunderstanding of normal to be rather endearing. She didn't want to trust him fully, but she had no choice at this point.
There was no news from Miyuki, D1b, or Irk. And Gaz had gotten used to the silence of space. Aik had managed to avoid any encounters with other species, not that there was anyone around to run into. No sign of the Massive. Until they had spent two weeks of searching.
"I got something." Aik displayed the ship's scanners.
Gaz sat up excitedly. There was a ship heading towards them. It was almost definitely the Massive, the size alone was telling enough.
"It seems to be coming from Irk," Aik mused. "Headed right for us." He adjusted the controls of the ship to move them out of the path.
Gaz practically stood up, peering out the window to try to spot the ship. "I don't see it."
"It's a bit far away still," Aik explained. "You should be able to spot it in a few seconds."
Sure enough, very soon the Massive could be spotted far off in the distance. It almost looked like a star from there.
"Finally, this is almost over!" Gaz adjusted herself in her seat. "It's been forever."
"I'm looking forward to getting this over with too. At least your father has shown some interest in your whereabouts," Aik said.
"It still took him too long to notice I was missing…" Gaz huffed.
Aik nodded. "We can agree there."
"Incoming transmission," the AI of the ship suddenly spoke and a screen with the call was displayed.
"What the!" Gaz yelped. "Who??"
"It's coming from the Massive," Aik said thoughtfully. "They must have seen us."
"Well what are we waiting for, hurry up and answer it!" Gaz pressed the answer button herself, not even waiting for Aik.
"Gaz!" Aik said quickly.
An Irken appeared on the screen. He looked familiar, Aik remembered that an Irken like this spent time at the Membrane house before.
"Wait, I know him, that's Survivor Zim!" Gaz said excitedly.
The Zim laughed darkly.
Gaz tensed. "Wait…"
"Gaz, hang up the call." Aik tried to press the button to end the call, but Gaz blocked him.
"No, this is Zim, he must know where Miyuki is. They're dating, he's gotta know…" Gaz sounded desperate.
"Oh I know," Zim chuckled. Aik would recognize that kind of chuckle anywhere. This Irken was not safe.
"Where is she! And where's D1b!" Gaz asked hurriedly.
"Gaz, don't," Aik warned. He didn't want to hurt her to turn off the call.
"They're on the Massive currently, come and see them for yourself," Zim said.
Gaz nodded. "Okay, we're coming. Ship, set a course for the Massive do—"
Aik shoved her out of the way and ended the call, then quickly took the ship controls to prevent it from correcting course. He also activated the cloaking technology so that the Massive couldn't locate them.
Gaz yelped. "Hey! D1b is there, what are you doing! Zim is a friend!"
"That wasn't Zim. Not the one that came to the Membrane house. He had a different look in his eye, a different sound in his voice. Plus Survivor Zim had a robotic arm," Aik explained. "He didn't. Explain that."
"Irken tech?" Gaz said hesitantly. "Come on, who else would it be, it's Zim! He's safe!"
"He may be a Zim, but he's not the one you know. This is a trap," Aik warned. "Don't you find it odd that he didn't offer you any information other than Miyuki and D1b were on the Massive and to come see them?"
"No?" Gaz sounded confused.
Aik sighed and shook his head. "I'm sorry kid, but something isn't right."
"He could still have D1b and Miyuki, even if it isn't Zim. Maybe he has them as prisoners?" Gaz suggested cautiously.
"Possibly," Aik said.
"How do we know if we don't get on the ship?" Gaz said.
Aik sighed. "We are going to have to get on the ship eventually, but we can't let them know when or where we're entering. We'll keep our distance for a few hours, we'll follow the ship. If I can find a safe opening, we'll get inside then I'll inspect things while you wait in the ship for my signal."
"I'm not waiting in the ship for your dumb signal, I'm going to find my brother!" Gaz snapped.
"Gaz, this is serious. Have you ever tried to fight a fully armed Irken Invader?" Aik said sternly.
"I helped fight Tak."
"She wasn't an Invader, was she?"
"No…" Gaz huffed. "You haven't fought an Irken Invader either."
"I have not, but I have a better chance." Aik flexed the fingers of his robotic arm.
"Because of the arm?" Gaz asked.
"And training. I've been in an… interesting field of business," Aik said.
"Yeah well I'm coming," Gaz insisted. "And you'll have to shoot me to stop me."

Would Earth fruits & veggies be edible to Irkens?
(Just a personal theory, but I imagine most raw fruits and vegetables Irkens could digest safely, provided they were washed clean or free from pesticides. The sweeter the better. Carrots, squash and sweet potatos Zim can tolerate/ enjoy. He likes tomatoes but only if they're fried. Certain items must be cooked, fried, caramelized or turned into syrup or jam.
I have no idea why, but in my head canon, Zim likes apples and apple-flavored sweets. He's fond of artificial strawberry flavored snacks as well, and enjoys the scent of fresh ones.
He loves grilled cheese sandwiches too, but only if Gir makes them.
Tumblr media
Reg "Ok, we got all the fruit we know he can digest, the maple syrup, the strawberry syrup, chocolate syrup, squeezy caramel and a gallon of rainbow sherbert. We just need bread, a gallon of fruit punch, jello mix, three boxes of carrot cake oreos and-"
Dib "Is Zim fucking kidding with this grocery list? Someone is gonna call child services on me for buying all this junk! How much more is on there?!"
Reg "The Tallest's jubilee starts with a bottomless feast."
Dib "I don't give a shit about the Tallest's jubilee! Neither does Zim; he's shunned-"
Reg "Yeah but I think it might cheer him up to participate in a normal Irken activity. The feast is something every Irken, regardless of height, gets to enjoy. Zim deserves to feast too, even if we're the ones to set it up."
Dib "Does he deserve it though?"
Reg "Dad--"
Dib "It's sweet that you go out of your way to make peace with my greatest enemy. I mean, it's super annoying and I really wish you would quit, but it's sweet."
Reg "Zim isn't your enemy anymore."
Dib "Yes he is."
Reg "He's our friend."
Dib "He's evil. Pure evil. I hate him with every cell in my body."
Reg "Zim is your best non-human friend."
Dib "No."
Reg "You missed Zim."
Dib "No, I didn't."
Reg "You love Zim and you want him to feel like he's part of the household and not a just a nuisance."
Dib "I'm disowning you when you turn 18. How much more is on the list?"
Reg "Uh...a big can of sprinkles and... a six pack of Zima? What's Zima?"
Dib "I don't think they still make that crap."
