Please.... I beg of you... any KBD
<3<3<3 dad!steve x mom!reader, 1k
“I love you,” you say, bending down to give Steve a quick kiss. “But I’m going to spend fifteen minutes by myself in the bathroom. Cool?”
Steve laughs. With the babies asleep and Avery not far from it in his lap, you’ve earned that and more. “Don’t get lost.”
“Yes,” you say, slouched and tired as you limp away. “I won’t.”
Avery rests her head on Steve’s arm. “Is she okay?”
“Just tired. Someone’s always tired in this house, right?”
“Not me.” She yawns.
Steve laughs and wraps his arm around her shoulders carefully. “Not you, you’re my trooper.”
“I’m the state trooper. That’s what Chief Hopper says.”
She’s talked about Chief Hopper nonstop for the last week since he visited her class as school. He apparently wasn’t half as much of a hard ass as he was when Steve was in school. He brought candy.
“You are?” he asks.
“Yeah!” she says, unaware of the stunt Steve is about to pull. She snuggles into his arms as he begins rubbing her back.
Steve looks at her and all he sees is himself. It’s so fucking weird —he’d love to show teenage Steve, hell, even Steve at twenty, how his daughter will come out a carbon copy. He might as well be looking in a mirror, though her head is a little less square, her lips ever so slightly fuller. She’s all brown eyes and a silly giddy smile as she tells him her story again, her soft lashes drooping, and drooping as he hums uh-huhs, the side of his pinky running down her spine.
She falls asleep in his lap. He knows how nice it feels to be held closely by someone you love as you sleep, so for a while he just holds her. They aren’t kidding about kids. You don’t have a clue in the world how much you can love another person, how badly you want to look after them, until you have your own.
And Steve wouldn’t have his without you, so he owes you everything. He always has, regardless.
Which reminds him.
Steve carries Avery upstairs to her room, still small enough for a princess carry. He’s careful not to hit her head on the door jam (a marker of past experience), toeing open her door and yanking back the sheets on her bed.
“There,” he whispers with a smug smile, laying her down, and tucking her in snug. “Love you, Ave.” He kisses her forehead and the line of her nose, rubbing her little chubby cheek in goodnight.
He stands on the landing listening for you. You’re sniffing in the bathroom, forcing a rough bumping of his chest —he thought you were kidding about being upset.
He knocks the door with one knuckle. “Honey? Can I come in?”
“Depends on how eager you are to see me naked.”
He rattles the door handle aggressively. You laugh from the other side. “No, but can I?” he asks.
“Stop being weird and come in.”
He opens the door. You’re in pyjama pants and a bra, your shirt on the radiator and water shining on your neck and collar. A vigorous face washing has occurred, hence your sniffing. “I thought you were crying,” he says, relieved.
You hold your hands out to him and let him grab you by the waist, holding you up, your tacky face immediately dropping down into one of your shoulders. “Just got water in my nose.”
He pulls you stomach to stomach, hand behind your shoulder and working up to your neck. You breathe out funny at his touch, maybe like you’ve missed it, your eyelids fluttering closed.
“Don’t fall asleep on me,” he implores.
You shake your head. “I’m not tired. I think I missed you today.”
You spent the entire day together, but with the girls acting as hectic as they’d been he understands what you mean. It’s not like you got much time together. It was a good day, he just wishes there were more moments of you like this, in arms reach, under his hands, and totally at ease.
“Who wouldn’t miss me?” he asks.
You nod, as if to say, yeah, I forgot you’re a dick. Your eyes don’t open and yet he can see them rolling.
“I missed you too,” he amends honestly, encouraging your face to his to kiss you while you’re unsuspecting.
You sigh softly and kiss back, before working your way into the curve of his neck, where you also kiss. Your lips are soft as velvet.
He covers as much of your naked back as he can with his arms. “Today feels a hundred days long. I’m so excited to go to bed, I’m like, thinking about it. Is that pathetic?”
“Très pathétique.”
He rubs the curve of your side quickly in agreement. “Super pathetic.”
“Where’s my Avery?”
“Sleeping in bed. Just you and me, honey.”
“I’m too tired to brush my teeth.”
Steve chuckles at your aggrieved moaning and stands you up properly. I can fix that, he thinks.
First, he helps you into your shirt. You’re a grown woman who doesn’t necessarily need help getting dressed, but you’ve been his to look after for so long that you don’t question him when he holds the neck and arms out for you and pulls it over your head, down onto your torso. You’re smiling as he skirts around you for your toothbrush. You hold your hand out. He doesn’t give it, squirting toothpaste onto the bristles.
“Show me those pearly whites,” he jokes, murmuring now so as not to disturb the quiet that’s descended in the house.
He can see you thinking it through. “You wanna brush my teeth for me?”
He takes your cheek into your hand. “Too weird?”
“No,” you say, smiling at him with a generous, ridiculous amount of devotion, “not weird. I’ll probably laugh though, but if you don’t mind then sure, you can brush my teeth. I’d love that. I’ll just close my eyes and let you do the hard work.”
Steve ducks in for a careful, doting kiss, the smell of spearmint between you.
“I’ll even floss for you,” he promises against your lips.
“No, I don’t think so.”

The older Jefferson
Pairing: Rodrick Heffley x fem!Reader
Summary: After Rowley announces that his older (half-)sister, who lives quite far away and has never met the Heffleys, is going to visit him over the break Susan invites his family over for dinner. Her not being what Rodrick expects, he starts crushing, which results in him trying to impress her - failing horribly.

A/N: Hi, just a quick warning that English isn’t my first language and that this is also the first time I’ve ever written a longer text in English that isn’t a school assignment. I also don’t fully understand Tumblr yet, which makes me honestly a bit anxious to post.
[This and a gender-neutral version are also posted on AO3]
Tumblr media
“Why haven't you ever mentioned that you have an older Sister?” Rowley and Greg were sitting on the Heffleys living room floor - Rodrick occupying the whole space on the couch - playing a video game. Well, Greg was. It was a single-player. He promised they would take turns, but by now Rowley had been over for about two and a half hours and hadn’t even had the chance to touch the controller yet. He gave up on asking and settled on just watching about 45 minutes in.
“I talked about her before. Multiple times actually.” That is true. Rowley looks up to his sister a lot “Also, she is technically my Half-Sister. She’s been living with her Dad for longer than I remember. Normally we are the ones flying over to visit during summer break, but she hasn’t visited since she was a little Kid, and after her school schedule finally allowed it, we thought it would be a good idea if she, for a change, came here instead.”
“It sounds like you two get along great!” Mrs. Heffley walked in, holding a laundry basket under one arm while carrying Manny with the other.
“We do! I can’t wait to show her my room and have her around for the entire break! I have so much planned out already, it's gonna be so much fun! Best summer ever!”
“That sounds lovely Rowley, I wish Greg was so excited to hang out with Rodrick, but they just won't get along.” Susan sighed, throwing a pitiful glance at her two oldest, who simultaneously let out a laugh hearing this.”
“Yeah, never gonna happen.” Greg says, “I would rather spend the whole summer in school than voluntarily hang out with this idiot.”
“My Sister is actually around the same age as Rodrick.” Rowley buts in. Greg doesn’t understand how this is relevant, but it probably adds to his mother's yearning for her two oldest sons to get along. Rodrick lets out a laugh hearing that.
“I can’t wait to meet them. Just imagine an older, female version of Rowley. That’s actually fucking hilarious!”.
“Watch your language! Also, I'm sure she is wonderful.” Gregs Mom loosens her lecturing stance, turns around, and smiles at Rowley “I would love to have you and your family over for dinner sometime. It has been a while since I’ve seen your parents and I would love to meet your sister.”
“That sounds great Mrs. Heffley. I will ask my parents as soon as I get home!”
That brings us to about a week later, when the Jefferson family, including their oldest daughter, is standing in front of the Heffleys House, ringing their doorbell.
Rowley has been telling you all about his best friend Greg for years, which made you somewhat excited about finally meeting him. However, you can’t say that the picture your brother painted is entirely positive, finding him rather irritating in many of the stories you were told over time. You aren't too mad though, assuming it is normal for young, teenage boys to act like jerks every once in a while. Not everyone can be such a sweetheart as Rowley. Overall you're glad your brother managed to maintain such a long-lasting friendship.
And then there was Rodrick. You've heard rather interesting stories about him as well. In the beginning, you found those quite amusing, that was until you realized that Rowley was genuinely terrified of him. Not the best first impression someone could make on you. Influenced by seeing your younger sibling grow up to be such a sweet and genuine person you tend to be a bit protective from time to time.
You hear some hushed voices from inside, and you can identify one of them as female, reminding someone to behave. Then the door opens and a woman, who you assume to be Mrs. Heffley, kindly smiles at you. Your suspicion is confirmed a second later when she introduces herself and shoos you into the house, before continuing to greet the rest of your family.
Crossing the threshold you can now see a man standing slightly behind Greg's mother. He introduces himself as Frank, making quite a kind impression on you. Then he leads you into the living room to meet his sons.
The two older ones hardly even notice you at first, too occupied with arguing and rowing with each other.
“Boys!”, their father speaks up, successfully catching their attention. Rather comically their gazes fall from their father to you, their eyes widening and their mouths dropping open. You were not what they expected. While Greg looks just shocked, you would describe Rodricks state as mesmerized.
He recovers fast, pushes Greg off of him, stands up, and puts on what he hopes is a charming smile. Extending his hand he starts to introduce himself.
“Hi, I’m-”
At least he tries to.
“Rodrick. I know. My brother has told me one or two rather interesting stories about you”, your smile is sharp. He gulps, his confident smile turning sheepish, cursing Rowley in his head. You are not what he expected and you are definitely not anywhere close to being a female carbon copy of your, in his eyes, embarrassing younger brother.
He normally wouldn’t consider himself the kind of person who has a type, but from now on, if someone asked, he would probably revert to describing you. You were just ethereal, everything about you was attractive to him. The way you walked, talked, and carried yourself, but also your clothing and hairstyle. Your pretty face just rounds up your whole appearance, making you all the more alluring.
He had to get on your good side. While a family dinner, especially with Greg present, may not be the best opportunity, he could ask Rowley to put in a few good words for him. That kid was easily influenced (or intimidated). Still, making the best possible impression over dinner wouldn’t cause any harm either.
You turn to the other boy who has been silently watching the exchange. Now that your attention is on him he starts feeling nervous as well. Your expression, however, turns a bit more friendly.
“And you must be Greg.” he nods. You introduce yourself and lastly say hello to Manny who is sitting on the floor playing with some figurines. By now the others have entered the room, causing Susan to start leading you all to the dining table.
You’re seated between Rowley and Greg, across from Rodrick, which results in quite frequent eye contact. On one side you really want to intimidate him a bit. This could maybe make your brother's life a bit easier, at least for the time being. On the other side, you do want to make some conversation, maybe throw in a bit of (family dinner appropriate) flirting or at least find out if he’s single.
It’s really hard to hold a grudge against someone who is entirely your type.
While you’re conflicted, Rodrick, on the other hand, is sweating. Nervously fidgeting in his seat. You didn’t seem as irritated with him anymore, if the eye contact was anything to go by. Was this his chance to redeem his shitty first impression? He cursed his brain for failing to come up with something cool to say.
Since when is it so hard to talk to girls? Is it getting hotter in here? What impresses girls? What does he normally brag about? His band! That’s it. Now he just has to bring it up somehow. Maybe he can bribe Greg to ask him about it. No, that’s too risky, he can’t count on Greg to not fuck this up. He is just going to casually bring it up ‘I’m in a band by the way, pretty sick huh?’ ‘Do you like music? Cause I’m in a band’ No that’s stupid everyone likes music… ‘Which kind of music do you listen to?’ That’s good, he should bring up the topic of music first, that’s a normal conversation topic. After that step two is to bring up the band. That’s easy, he got this.
Now he just needs to wait till your attention is on him again and then he can smoothly lead the conversation in the desired direction. He has to calm down, he can do it.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Your eyes meet again.
“I’m in a band!” He speaks way louder than intended, his voice is squeaky, and in the middle of the sentence he has the most embarrassing voice crack imaginable.
Silence.
The sole attention is now on him. All he hears is Greg's snickering which causes him to kick him under the table.
“Ow!” That was not Greg's leg. He looks up to see you looking at him with a questioning expression.
That’s it. He fucked up. His chances were already low, but he still managed to shrink them even more, making them most likely completely vanish. Great. His ears were ringing, all he can hear is Greg's quiet laughter in the background.
“I'm sorry I didn’t mean to kick you, I-” he starts his apology but loses track of what he is trying to say when he sees your expression change. You're clearly trying to suppress a smile, but it's not working at all.
“You’re adorable.” Rowley chokes on his food, and Greg's laughter abruptly stops
“Rodrick? Adorable?” That’s it. Greg gives up on ever trying to understand girls. How can his stupid older brother embarrass himself like that, then kick the poor girl under the table and still be perceived as adorable by her, especially since she is so much out of his league?
Rodrick however, was still not functioning properly.
“So that band, is its name by any chance Löded Diaper?”
“Yeah.” He is proud of himself for speaking at an appropriate volume without stuttering. “How do yo-”
“I saw your creepy white Van in front of the house. What’s up with that, kidnapping little kids as a side hustle?” You are still smiling, and with your stupid joke you somehow manage to relax the atmosphere a bit, the adults going back to their conversation.
Rodrick too is now smiling, looking at you with an expression you could only describe as lovestruck, even though you just insulted him.
He is contemplating making a joke about how the space in the back could be quite useful for more than just trapping kids but decides against it, fearing to make it awkward again. Getting nervous about taking too much time to come up with an answer he instead lands on “No only kidnapping pretty girls like you.”. As soon as the words leave his mouth he regrets it, realizing it's in fact not a funny and flirty thing to say, but honestly rather creepy.
At the end of the evening, Rodrick has messed up flirting with you multiple times, however, it’s his luck that you find his desperate attempts to look cool to impress you weirdly endearing. Not that he realizes that. Calling Rodrick confused, questioning why you were still talking to him, would be an understatement.
He certainly doesn’t know how he can have messed up so many times and still end up finding a little note with your number on it in his pullover hood after you left.

drunk cuddly darling + sober yan
vs
sober darling + drunk yan
do yans have any preference on either scenario or is it just no bueno either way
im just gonna simplify this ask down a bit. m!yanderes + f!yanderes x cuddly drunk gn darling 🫶 (no poly/non humans for the sake of my sanity)
Tumblr media
⛪️ ;; abe is not the type to drink, never has been and never will be, even if you pressure him to drink more, so while he doesn’t exactly approve of you getting drunk either, he just cant bring himself to be mad at you. not when you’re being so sweet to him! he’s happy that you’re content to just be held by him until you fall asleep rather than get into any trouble that he’s not prepared to deal with. be ready to wake up to a scolding by him though, you could get sick if you go overboard! even if he kind of likes it when you do.
[cw dubcon] 🖥️ ;; god bless any darling who gets drunk around gene because if he can tell you’re inebriated he’s either trying to fuck you or is equally as hammered (if not more). so when you get drunk and start getting all touchy with him he sees it as an invitation to take things further. you wanted the attention, you can’t get mad at how he chooses to give it! it isn’t his fault, you just make really cute faces when you’re wasted. he’ll give you a little apology gift for your sore insides when you’re up the next day — one most likely made up of painkillers and your favorite takeout.
🪶;; it irritates sterling to no end that you got drunk. don’t you know you have an image to uphold? he’s prattling on and on about how he’s sick of your disgraceful behavior and how unbecoming it is for you to waste your time fucking up your brain, until your arms are around him and you’re snuggling up against him. then his words are all caught in his throat and hes tripping through his sentences, half heartedly trying to reprimand you still, but he eventually settles down and (begrudgingly) holds you until you’re asleep. he’ll swear to himself its only this one time; if you remember the next day and try to tease him about it he literally wont talk to you for a week.
💪 ;; valentina had already planned to simply cuddle you till you went to sleep, so the fact that you initiated it makes her elated. she likes how it feels when you squirm in her arms, too out of it to be able to do anything but what she wants. it’s like she’s handling a living doll! she carries you around like one, too, going about her day with one hand and holding you you with the other. yes, it makes doing things way more difficult and yes, the arm she carried you with will be sore for days, but it’s well worth it to her.
[cw dubcon, again] 👑 ;; althea ordered you to go to bed the moment you stumbled into her presence in your inebriated state. when you instead clung to her and insisted on cozying up instead, while it annoyed her, she took it upon herself to make sure you got to bed and couldn’t get into any trouble. but you insisted on her staying with you! and the way you tangled her body up with yours and dragged your hands across her form in a move that couldn’t have been entirely innocent (to her, at least), allie couldn’t help but help herself to your body. you practically owed it to her, anyway; and the way you whimpered and sighed for her proved that you didn’t seem to mind too much anyway.
🥩 ;; rhodes doesn’t particularly care for drunks, they’re used to them being loud and obnoxious. so they’re not exactly happy when they find you after having a bit too much to drink. they’e expecting a tedious night of making sure you don’t hurt yourself or others, so it’s a pleasant surprise when you seek them out for comfort instead. they still would prefer you being sober so you’d be able to better appreciated them taking the day off to be with you, but they’re satisfied with the time you spend with them regardless.

Revelation - Pt. 2
Pt. 1
Warnings: Depiction/Talking of Anxiety & Depression
Word Count: 1.7k
Tumblr media
By the next night, Melissa has had an entire existential crisis. She practically bullied poor Jacob from the living room without meaning to. Seeing him, though, had only reminded her of the previous night's realization and made her decidedly not want to spend time with him. Lest he find something else to say to tip her world upside down all over again.
She's already dreading Monday and being in the same room as you. Except…that's really not true. She's always happy to see you. She just isn't sure what to make of this shift of her understanding of her own feelings. She hardly wants to risk losing you in her life. You have a wonderful relationship. You're her closest friend. She doesn't see Barbara outside of work half as much as she does you.
If she sees you Monday and can't pretend things are as usual, you'll know. You've always been able to read her better than most. Even in the early days of getting to know each other. Now that she's spent the last day or so thinking over practically every moment spent with you since you met she realizes that's part of how you got so close. You were always ready to see beneath the surface of her reactions and responses.
You never let her standoff nature deter you or intimidate you before she accepted you would be around Abbott for a long time as opposed to the others that went in and out. You didn't like all the same things but the things you did you enthusiastically shared with her. The things you didn't, you still appreciated that she liked and would entertain or participate in those things with her. Just because she liked them.
Melissa slumps at the head of her bed with a groan. “Schemmenti, you are so fucked.” She mumbles into her pillow. Not the first time since yesterday she's thought it but it is the first time she's said it out loud.
She's worried about seeing you again, nervous. Still, she knows at the end of every day she'd choose to spend time with you anyway. So, her only choice is to just…see what happens. Melissa Schemmenti hates just seeing what happens. She hates surprises.
Her groan sounds again when her phone rings from somewhere next to her. It's already too late on a Saturday night to be getting called. Double too late when she's been working herself up with thoughts of feelings all day.
She lifts her head enough for one glaring eye to see her screen. The sight of a photo of the two of you you'd insisted on taking, and setting as your contact photo in her phone, lighting up her screen makes her sit up. It's definitely too late for you to call her.
Quickly, she's swiping the accept call button with her thumb. “Hon?”
She hears the sniffle after your quiet ‘hey’ in greeting. She doesn't bother asking if you're alright. She already knows the answer. “Do you need me to come over?”
“It's late…”
“That's not what I asked. Yes or no, Hon?”
She's about to pull the phone away from her ear to make sure she didn't accidentally hang up when you finally answer. “Yes, please.”
“I'll be there in ten, I'll use your spare to get in. Just hang tight for me.” She answers as she pushes away from her bed. She lets you be the one to end the call as she pulls on a hoodie and grabs her car keys. She doesn't bother telling Jacob she's leaving.
With the hour, she makes it to your apartment in eight. She plucks the spare key from its potted plant hiding place and lets herself in. She locks the door behind her, setting the key and her purse to the side table nearby.
She frowns slightly as she glances at the living room and kitchen as she pass through the short hallway to your bedroom.
What feels like forever ago, she had told you about Joe. The aftermath of her marriage and how it made her feel. You'd both been drinking that night but neither of you were drunk. She'd been just tipsy enough to feel comfortable sharing, at least with you. In return, you'd shared your own struggles with depression and anxiety.
Your apartment is not dirty. It's perhaps the normal level of weekend disarray. There are only a few dishes at the side of the kitchen sink. That she would guess is from breakfast. The blankets on your couch aren't folded.
It isn't really messy but Melissa knows these small things aren't like you. You tend to be on top of even these little things since you learned the mess of things can increase your anxiety about your depression worsening. It's small, but she notices.
“Hey,” she greets softly when she steps into your bedroom. She catches your answer, muffled by your blanket held to the lower half of your face.
Melissa sits on the edge of your bed, her legs swinging up to sit properly next to you. As if she has a hundred times before. “C’mon,” She coaxes softly, her hands waving you to her.
After a moment, you shuffle closer to her. Instantly, her arms are around you, holding you to her. You adjust to share your blanket with her.
She scoffs when you attempt to quietly apologize. “Don't give me no apology, Sweetheart. I don't need one. You called, I answered, huh? That's all there is to it. You'd have done the same for me.”
She nods at your soft agreement. You would have. Without question.
“You wanna talk about it?” She asks, in a whisper that sounds more like she's shared a secret.
“I don't know what happened.” You sigh, glad for the way she squeezes her arms around you in reassurance. It lets you feel like you can keep speaking. “Game night at yours was fun and I told myself when I left I'd get home and finish grading those quizzes from Thursday so I wouldn't have to worry about them all weekend. The next thing I knew I'd just been sitting around and scrolling on my phone until late. I figured I'd get up and do them this morning but…”
“Hard day to get outta bed?”
“Something like that. I just kept thinking of everything else I needed to do too and then what if come Monday I still can't even get myself to get up and then the kids will—”
“Shh,” Melissa cuts you off gently. A hand rubbing against your arm to soothe at the same time. “It's okay. You aren't gonna leave the kids like that. I know you. And it's okay to take a day or two off once in a while anyhow. But instead of worryin’ ‘bout Monday, let's worry about right now, alright? Right now, you're gonna stay right here with me and relax. Take a deep breath with me, Hon?”
You do. Following the pattern of Melissa's own breathing that is slow and purposeful. You let yourself slowly start relaxing at her side.
“Good.” She praises quietly when you keep your breath in time with hers. Even after the one requested deep breath. “We’re gonna stay here, and if ya need to talk it out more then I'm here to talk it out with or just listen. Or I can talk ya little ear off until you fall asleep. We’ll worry about everything else tomorrow.”
“I have no idea how your kids stay awake during story time.” You tease her gently, smiling into her shoulder.
“Why’d you think I only read to ‘em when they're real good?” She answers easily. You can hear the smile in her own voice.
“Thank you. For being here.”
Again, Melissa scoffs. “I don't need thanks any more than apologies, sweetheart. I've got you.”
You resolve, as you fight your eyes closing to sleep, that you'll be there whenever Melissa calls you too. No matter the hour. It's only whisper to tell you to not be ridiculous and sleep that has you actually giving in to rest.
When you wake the next morning, Melissa isn't next to you. The distant sound of rustling from your living room tells you she didn't go far though. You bring yourself to rise from your bed, vaguely noticing your full laundry hamper is gone from the corner of the room.
You dont think too hard on it though. You're not fully awake and it wouldn't surprise you if you moved it and forgot. Yet as you continue out to the living room, you do begin to question.
The dishes are washed and on the drying rack on your counter. The fruit bowl you keep for the mornings you don't plan well enough for breakfast so you have something quick is in its usual spot. Though the counter has been cleaned around it and a few of the pieces of fruit you noticed turning are gone.
You turn to see Melissa curled up on your couch. Nestled comfortably in the corner of one of the arm rests. The blankets are folded and laid across the back of the couch. The quizzes you meant to grade this weekend are in a pile next to her.
“Mornin’ Hon.” She greets without looking away from the paper she's marking. She finishes grading that particular students quiz, setting it to your coffee table. The stack on the table, the stack you realize is the ones she's graded, is much larger than the few left next to her on the couch.
“Mel, you didn't have to do all this.”
The hand holding one of your red pens waves your statement away. “It was nothin’. I woke up a little early and couldn't get back to sleep. I figured I could take a little off your mind. So I did.”
You pluck one of your other red pens from the coffee table, claiming the last few quizzes as you sit next to her. “Alright but I'm helping you finish, at least. Then we're going to breakfast.”
“You're gonna bribe me with pancakes to walk around the farmers market at this ungodly hour.” Melissa says. It isn't a question. She already knows it's exactly what's going to happen.
“Yes.” You admit with no sign of regret before you set about finishing the last few quizzes.

It's not uncommon for him not to see you much during his work. But today, especially considering how close you've gotten to him and how comfortable, it's weird to him that he doesnt see you at all.
"Jungkook.." Hana says, catching his attention as he mops the floor of the lunch area where all hybrids had just eaten a few minutes prior. "Do you have a moment?" she asks, voice soft and kind, though he's guarded, because he knows that soft-tune she puts on.
She's talking to him like she does to the other hybrids.
Something's up.
"Sure." he shrugs, putting the mop to the side before followong her to the side. "What's up? Did I do something?" he wonders, hands in his pockets while he leans against the wall behind him.
"I think you've already noticed that 268- the hybrid you've been spending time with.. She's not here." Hana says, and she doesn't need to say your name to make his eyes harden. Technically you don't have one after all, only your ID number he's able to recite back by pure instinct. He knows that she's talking about you. There's no one else she could mean.
"what about her?" he asks suspiciously, already irritated because deep down, he's got his fears. Maybe you've been adopted. Then he should be happy, right?
Except he isn't.
"She's been transferred..." Hana says, sighing before she crosses her arms in front of her, a clear sign she's going to try and justify that action while also blocking his for sure incoming anger. "...to a correctional facility in Daegu."
"What the fuck?!" he loudly barks out as soon as he hears that, visibly distressed. "Do you know what they fucking do to hybrids in these shitholes?" he demands to know, fists curled tightly as hed pushed himself off the wall vehind him, walking a step towards her. "She's gonna be even more traumatized in there, good fucking job!" he scoffs.
"please, a bit more quiet-" she tries as she notices some hybrids looking. "-she's gonna be fine. They're trained in cases like hers-"
"and if she doesnt comply she will just be sent to another, and another, and a-fucking-nother! Great solution, really!" he barks out, pulling the nametag from around his neck aggressively. "I'm done participating in this bullshit."
"Jungkook-" she tries, but he's already walking.
"I've got a week left of this work and I've not taken any days off." he says grimly, turning around with angry eyes. "I'm taking them now." He growls angrily, leaving the area to go grab his things- when a young man looks at him, then at his nametag Jungkook is taking off in frustration.
"Jeon Jungkook?" The man says, standing next to him dressed in all black, a facemask covering half of his face. He looks sketchy- and has caught Jungkook during the worst time possible.
"What!?" he snarls more or less, before a letter is pushed into his hand, catching him off guard.
"You're being summoned to court." the man says. Jungkook's blood runs cold at that.
"I've done the community service shit, what the hell?" he argues, but almost weakly so- because he knows he's powerless against the legal system. If they believe he needs further, worse punishment, then he'll have to take it.
"Oh they know, it's not about that." the guy says. "Or at least, not entirely. Read it at home. I think you'll be interested in showing up." the guy almost chuckles, cat-like eyes showing his amusement over the situation.
"..huh." Jungkook doesn't say anything else, turning around to go grab his bag.
"Ah, and Jungkook-ssi." the guy calls out, making the younger man roll his eyes as he turns around. "could you borrow me some of your clothes?"
"..the fuck?" he squints his eyes, unsure what this stranger wants with his clothes of all things. "Why would you want my stuff?" He asks, cringing a bit.
"I think anything that's got your scent on it would do. Just bring something when you visit." the man says, handing him a card, and a plastic.. ID, similar to the one he uses to wear at the center right here. "I'm sure she'll appreciate it."
The card is from the Hybrid Behavioral Therapy Center in Daegu, contact info and location address clearly written down beneath the logo. But it'sthe plastic ID card that makes hus eyes widen, because it clearly spells out;
'Special Clearance Pass: Potential owner for hybrid 268.'

okay actually i need to ramble about taylor and her dad for like a bit cus its sooo much.
like okay listen listen listen: Danny wakes up early and he cooks breakfast maybe and then he goes to work and he does his job- and he's great at his job, in any world but this one, in any other brockton bay, he'd be able to afford to take taylor out of winslow or fix their broken step- maybe get her her like a dog or something (which btw would fix her) and y'know pay the bills and shit. but he can't in this universe because in this universe kaiju attack every 2 seconds and one specifically doesn't like people existing on coasts and like he's a dockworker or whatever so! so. so he works all day tirelessly just to not get his crew jobs or better pay because no one is going to sponsor the people working on a non-existent dock like its literally a graveyard! who would pay for this when there's an actual dragon man running around the city burning buildings down and an entire neo-nazi contingent of super-cunts nobody is going to do that. But this is his life. And he's stubborn and things had been better before so maybe they can be good again and he hates change and he doesn't want to have it all been for nothing and this is what he does. So he gives it his all. He stays late and he really only hangs out with his coworkers and he does have to pay the bills so its not like anyone could blame him. So he slams his head into the brick wall hoping it will break before his skull will and he misses so fucking much of what is going on in his daughters life! but it goes by so quickly, too quickly and by the time he's begun to figure out just how deeply and irrecoverably she's changed its way too late to just swing back in like nothing happened. He can't actually! They've both closed themselves off totally, her even farther than he has. but they're both stubborn, so stubborn and they think that if they can just hold on a little longer then things will be okay because things have to be okay because this can't be the rest of their lives! And Taylor really is her fathers daughter because she sees the way he bloodies his head on that wall and says fuck it all do you one better: this brick wall is going to break or i am! and if i do then i won't be around to care about it! And she's skipping class and spending nights somewhere else, sneaking out and of course he knows about it- of course he knows! What is he going to do though? confront her? and then what? what justification could he possibly have for that? to demand answers from her when she should be the one demanding them from him? he let her go back to the same school that nearly killed her! he let her drown without him when his wife died- didn't notice when emma broke her heart, didn't notice when she stopped loving english class or trusting adults or speaking without thinking 'stupid!' at herself reflexively. or worse- he did notice and chose not to do anything out of cowardice and habit and procrastinating guilt- like his daughters mental health was homework he hasn't handed in. But they both feel better, when they don't have to talk about it- and there's nothing morally wrong with skipping school or dropping out entirely but taylor used to like school but having an actual conversation with her about what exactly is happening in her life is something he takes half a zillion words to work up to and by the time he actually does he has to lock them in a goddamn room together- not because it's a good idea- if he knew more about taylor he'd know its a surefire way to freak her out- but because that's what he needs to talk to her.
and it just...deflates. she leaves and drops out of school and doesn't really talk to him again until brockton bay is like halfway underwater. there's no catharsis with him finding out she's Skitter, its not satisfying, not even in an angsty way- 'luke i am your father' -at least that's properly dramatic! It's just sort of an. oh. okay. fuck.
i dunno. this wasn't going anywhere. i just...man. they'd both kill for each other, i am confident in that much, but both seem to struggle pretty hard with the 'living for each other' part.

Baby Jack and Baby FL First Fight Part 2
Follow up to this concept
Tumblr media
Jack had felt uneasy ever since you had walked out the door and debated on whether he was even going to go to the studio tonight.
Even though his career was extremely important to him, he had always made you a priority so he could understand why you felt the way that you did. He never passed up an opportunity to spend time with you.
He tried calling you a few times before he left to head to the studio, but of course you let it go straight to voicemail which was very unlike you.
Although this was your first official fight, the two of you would have disagreements in the past but it was always resolved then and there with the two of you compromising and nothing else came out of it after.
Jack decided to let it go for now and head to the studio for a few hours in the hopes that it would give you enough time to cool off so that the two of you could talk, but the thing is that Jack didn’t even know if he would be able to focus while he was there simply because he knew his mind was going to be on you the entire time.
He really couldn’t get past the fact that you didn’t tell him that you loved him before you left.
The two of you had a rule, no matter if you are mad at each other (which never happened until now), that you always had to tell the other ‘I love you’, and you weren’t allowed to go to bed without resolving the issue that caused the disagreement in the first place.
Meanwhile you were with Victoria making snickerdoodles in an attempt to get you to feel better, but all she was doing was eyeing you ever since you walked in.
“What? Why do you insist on staring at me like that?” You asked while looking back at her.
“I just…. You and lover boy fighting? This is one for the books and definitely unheard of.”
All you did was shrug your shoulders as you mixed the cookie dough.
“No Y/N, like the two of you NEVER fight and I guarantee you it’s only a matter of time before Jack is breaking down my door to talk to you.”
“I doubt it. He got the studio time that he wanted so bad, so I know that’s where he is. We always share our location with each other and I just checked it ten minutes ago.”
“I don’t like this. My favorite couple needs to fix whatever is going on.”
“He blew me off to go to the studio even though I have barely seen him all week.”
“I get why that’s upsetting to you, but Y/N, this man is trying to make a name for himself in the industry and trying to take care of you. Don’t get me wrong, I totally understand where you’re coming from but just think of how many more date nights you’ll be able to have with him in the future? One day he might just tell you to pack a fucking bag and the next thing you know you’re in Paris.”
“Victoriaaaaaa.”
“Babe! Just think about it and call him back! Soon he’s probably going to send the National Guard to come get your ass. I wouldn’t put it past him for a second.”
“I just… don’t want to talk to him right now.”
“Hmm, I’ll check back in with you in an hour and I guarantee that you’ll be speeding down the road to get to your man.”
Jack had been in the studio for an hour and a half and just as he suspected couldn’t focus on what was going on at the moment and was growing frustrated with himself.
Urban had just so happened to meet him there since he had already been out and knew that something was wrong since he wasn't quite acting like himself.
“Uh, Jack? You good?"
“I can’t focus right now.” He breathed out while standing up and looking for his keys.
“Wait, where are you going?”
“I’ll be back, I just need to talk to Y/N.”
He knew for a fact that he wouldn't be able to get anything done until he fixed things with you.
“Wait, where is she?”
“At Victoria’s and I’m about to go and see her. I'll only be 20 minutes at the most."
You and Victoria were letting the cookies cool off when there was a sudden knock on the door.
"How much you wanna bet that it's your man?" She asked as she got up from the couch to open it.
"Tell him I'm not here."
"Should have turned your location off first, dumbass."
When Victoria opened the door, she saw Jack there looking pitiful as ever and simply moved to the side to let him in.
"About time you showed up. She's in the living room." Was all Victoria said before Jack made a beeline to see you.
Once there all you did was cross your arms and let out a huff as he came into your view.
"Do not ever leave our apartment again without telling me that you love me no matter how fucking mad you are." Jack said while coming over to sit next to you.
"Wait, what?"
"You were so mad at me that you didn't even tell me that you loved me and just walked out the door. You know our rule, we never do that."
"I didn't even realize that I didn't say it." You confessed quietly and instantly felt guilty.
"I.. couldn't even focus on anything at the studio because of the way we left things so I'm sorry for not going through with our plans for date night and I never want to make you feel like you aren't important to me because you know you are."
"And I'm sorry too. I know how important your career is to you and it's important to me too. I just really needed you and missed you this week."
“So, can we compromise?” Jack asked hoping that you would say yes.
“I’m listening.”
“You come to the studio with me for two hours and after I take you to get ice cream? You’ll have me for the rest of the night. Then tomorrow until you go out with Dani, we can do whatever you want. How’s that sound, pretty girl?”
Your eyes instantly lit up and Jack couldn’t help but to smile.
You eagerly nodded your head before throwing your arms around him and pulling him into a hug.
“I love you and I’m sorry for not telling you earlier.” You said as you leaned over to kiss him.
“I love you too, you know we’re in this together.”

A Hard Worker! e. munson
Tumblr media
Description: Eddie feels jealous, so he fucks his best friend on top of the car he's fixing.
Warnings: mechanic eddie, dom!eddie, cheerleader!reader, oral sex, spanking, PiV, doggystyle, protective!eddie, degrading/praising.
You felt your feet throbbing the more steps you took. Returning from afternoon cheer practice was always harder than mornings. Carrying the entire day's tiredness, you had to get dressed, arrive at school, practice, and then, with painful limbs, walk back home.
Today's practice, though, was quite surprising.
As you paced, your mind wandered around the events that had taken place. Chance Peterson passed down a message to you through Linda Richards about his feelings as well as a sealed letter, which the girl delivered to you with a smirk on her face.
You were informed that it hadn't been opened by her or anyone else, but chances were she knew about what it contained since her boyfriend was best friends with the jock himself.
You kept on walking, holding it in your grip before the sign you were looking for eventually appeared in your eyesight.
"Thatcher Tires"
It was 9pm. The sun had completely gone down and the only light on the street you found yourself in was occasionally flickering. You tightly gripped the garage door before sliding it, revealing Eddie's half-worn overall, and half of his tank top-clothed torso covered in greases and stains.
Iron Maiden was blasting on the speakers, making Eddie unable to hear you enter. You swore this boy would get murdered one day.
He was the only one inside the store, and since his boss was missing, he had stayed overtime for whatever reason. Maybe he was too interested in the car he was working on or had gotten into an argument with his uncle back home, but either way, you were glad you did not walk here all the way for nothing.
Your friendship with Eddie wasn't considered weird or confusing to the surrounding people until high school. By the time you were a freshman, he was already a senior. It didn't take long until you became well-liked and even quite popular.
Everyone liked you. You were kind, polite and sweet so when everyone saw how close you were with your best friend who, while you were in middle school, had created a pretty scandalous impression, they assumed the worst for him and even tried talking you out of spending time with him.
Eventually, you had reached your senior year, which he had failed twice due to his low grades despite you trying to help him out of his D's and C's.
You walked towards the black Mercedes he was under, placing a paper bag of food on its hood before making your way to the speakers, turning the record off.
Eddie immediately wiggled out of his position, his hand over his heart as he panted, "Jesus!" he groaned, causing you to lightly smile, "Did I scare you, poor thing?" you innocently glanced at him, "Spare me."
He looked at the hood of the car, sending a glare at you, "You're not allowed to place stuff up here, y/n" you rolled your eyes at his words, approaching him, "You should be thankful I walked after practice just to bring my best friend something to eat," you punched his arm.
"Righ blessing us with your appearance after going M.I.A for a week," he scoffed, opening the bag, "I'm sorry, but you know we're preparing for the match this weekend." you sat next to him.
You did feel slightly bad because you knew he was right.
"Why did you stay overtime?" you questioned, stroking the boy's hair before putting them in a bun as he unwrapped his burger. Eddie always relaxed when you touched his hair, leaning against your hands. "I had nothing better to do." he took a bite.
"Plus, it's a nice car, isn't it?" he glanced at the vehicle with admiration. Ever since he was little, he fancied expensive and nice-looking rides. You hummed in agreement, watching his bangs slightly sticking on his glistening forehead as he ate.
"What's this?" he asked, his gaze traveling down on the envelope you had inside your grip. You glanced down, shaking your head with an awkward smile. "Nothing important."
His eyes narrowed, yet he said nothing to you, "Just... foolish boys," you pressed your lips into a thin line, striding around the garage in your cheer uniform.
"Ah, did you get a love letter, sweetheart?" he spoke with fake awe, before throwing away the wraper in his hands. You nodded in response, making your way to him.
"What does it say?" Eddie asked, but you simply shrugged, "You haven't opened it yet?" he questioned, "No,"
"What are you waiting for?" he encouraged, placing some of his tools inside a box next to the car. You gave the envelope another glance before carefully opening it, taking the letter it contained out.
You began reading it, Eddie's eyes fixated on you, but once the words on it sunk in, your eyes had gone wide, your cheeks beginning to heat up. "What? What's wrong?" the curlyhead asked, getting no reply from you.
"Sweetheart?" he called again, this time approaching you before his hand attempted to take the paper. You quickly shifted away, making him look at you with confusion, "y/n," he chased after you as you quickly paced away, taking your waist in his hands before slamming your back on his chest, "Eddie no!" you tried to escape his grip in vain before the boy successfully took the letter.
"You are so stunning. I'm losing my mind every time I come across you at school," he read out, your fighting not preventing him the slightest from continuing, "You make me feel like a fucking pervert whenever I touch myself to the thoughts of your beautiful body in my hands," he paused for a second, visible disturbance in his eyes, "Eddie!"
"I want you to be mine. I want to touch every single part of you. Meet me at the benches at eleven o'clock tomorrow, Chance."
He expressionlessly folded the paper, about to place it beside him when you reached to grab it out of his hand. "I told you to stop!" you glared at him. "So what are you going to do?" he avoided your eyes with a stiff look on his.
"What?"
"Will you meet him? Your jock friend, who wants to touch your beautiful body?" he moved his head to the direction of the letter, his hands crossed over his chest, "Maybe I will," you were unsure about this, you just wanted to piss him off and cut the protective act he always tried to sell you.
"Let me guess... Your other princess friends encouraged you? Hm?" you rolled your eyes at his choice of words, walking close to him, "If I want to meet him, I won't listen to them, or you," you looked up, defending yourself, but he only chuckled.
"So defensive, and for what? A fucking brainless douchebag who just wants to take your panties off?" you raised your eyebrows, slightly pushing him, "Because that's why a dude would only approach me right? To fuck me." you gritted your teeth.
"I didn't say that," he did not break eye contact once, his head moving closer to you, "You know damn well what kind of guy Chance Peterson is and what he has said about me, you just want to act all defensive because you're pissed that I'm looking after you," he spoke.
"Whether I decide to go out with him, I know what he wants. You're not my dad to tell me what you feel about anyone that is interested in me, Eddie!"
"Oh, so you just want to get fucked, don't you?"
Your eyes widened before your palm met the skin of his face, slapping him out of frustration, immediately bringing your hands in front of your mouth after the realization hit you.
Eddie hissed, his palm patting the soreness on his face, "I'm so sorry Eds!" you touched his cheek with worry, your spare hand on his chest, "God, I'm so sorry!"
He did not respond, something that worried you even more than the redness on his face. "I don't want his hands anywhere near you," he clenched his jaw when your eyes locked contact with his. You frowned your brows, your hand letting go of his cheek, "You don't have to prote-"
"No,"
Before you could question him, he spoke. "I'm not-" he paused, hitting the table next to him when his hand reached your waist, pulling you closer for his lips to touch yours.
Your eyes remained open, surprise making you unable to move, "I'm just fucking pissed," his head moved next to yours, lips near your ear, "Pissed that someone like him wants to touch my little girl," he whispered, your cheeks heating up.
His little girl...
You would have never believed neither that such words would come out of his mouth nor that they would have such an effect on you. His arms remained on your waist, "I almost lost it when you told me Mark Peron took your virginity last year," he sighed, "I'm not proud about it, it's just..." his forehead was placed on your shoulder, "I wanted to be the one that-" he stopped himself, moving away from you.
You were finally able to look to his entire figure walking away, the sweet taste he had left on your lips making your fingers brush over them.
"Let's go, I'll drive you home," he said, grabbing his van keys off the floor before you ran and took them out of his hand, "You wanted to take my virginity?" you eyed him, but he avoided contact, "I just wanted to make sure it felt good," he mumbled.
"Oh, I should be thanking you then!" you smiled sarcastically making him shake his head, "Let's just go, y/n," he's about to slide the door but you stay behind.
"Thank you for fantasizing about jumping me Eddie! You're the best!" you slide the door back close, giving him a judging glare as you stood in front of him, "Don't look at me like that," he swallowed, "Why? Does it make your dick hard?" you scoffed.
"Yes,"
His hand took your wrist, minimizing the distance when he once again kissed you, but this time you did not hold back. Your hands were instantly wrapped around your best friend's neck, pulling him even closer before you found yourself pushed against the cold wall, his knee managing to make it's way between your soft thighs.
He kept restraining himself from shifting his hands lower to your ass, but a loud groan left his lips once you guided them there yourself, keeping yours over his, encouraging to squeeze you tightly.
You threw your head back in pleasure, giving him the perfect chance to kiss and bite your warm neck, "So you did just want to get fucked, hm?" he smiled against you, making you whine in pleasure, "Because deep down, my little girl always happened to be a secret little slut,"
You returned your lips on his, the skin of your belly feeling his hard cock against you, "Eds," you moaned, causing him to sigh deeply, "Just tell me yes and I'll take you right here if that's what you want." he spoke firmly, his hand beginning to play with your panties under your skirt, pulling the elastic and letting it snap back against your skin.
"Yes, ye-"
He forced his tongue inside your mouth, pushing you back inside the workplace before his hand reached beneath your thighs, the boy pulling you on him.
Quickly, you felt the quick movement of spinning before you found yourself laying face down on the cold surface of the freshly fixed Mercedes.
He stood between your spread legs, lifting your skirt slightly before a groan escaped his lips, "What an ass..." you whined, trying to support yourself on the hood.
"Next time we argue you won't act like a deprived little whore," he leaned down, "Got it?" his left hand tapped your back. You kept your mouth shut, slight curiosity keeping you from agreeing when a scream escaped your mouth, his hand harshly spanking your ass.
"Answer Ms. 'beautiful body'," he rubbed your freshly red flesh, "Got it," you bit your lip, slightly arching. You felt ashamed, but you wanted more. His dominance made your cunt ache, a wet stain becoming visible on your pink panties.
"You like that don't you? Having your best friend call you a slut, his slut. I just can't wait to see how well you take my fucking cock," another spank followed.
"Eddie," your feet found his thighs, pulling him closer. The boy lost his balance, slightly falling over you before chuckling. His lips began kissing your ass. He licked and kissed hungrily, unable to get enough of it.
"See baby, how could I let any asshole kiss my little girl's beautiful ass? I'm so selfish, I want it all to myself," he lifted the bottom of your panties, licking a good strand of your exposed pussy.
You moaned loudly, holding back from hitting the car's hood. You needed to grip onto something desperately.
Maybe he was right. You felt like such a slut letting Eddie do this to you but it felt so damn good.
Spanks came one after the other, your ass feeling sore and painful, "Eds please, it hurts so good," you whined, a satisfied smile on his lips.
"Get on all fours for me, my beautiful," he dragged you lower on the car by your thighs, "Please fuck me," you cried out arching like a cat in front of him.
His dick ached as he watched you in your tiny skirt. You looked adorable, offering all your body to him. The boy pulled your underwear on the side wiggling his tongue against your folds. "Tastes like heaven," he moaned against you, caressing your back.
You loudly groaned, taking your shirt and bra off with out his call. He obviously hadn't noticed...
He kissed and sucked your pussy, the absence of fabric on your soft back making him look up, eyes secretly widening. He didn't hesitate, immediately reaching to touch one of your tits before continuing to suck you off.
You placed your hand over his larger one as he massaged you. Eventually, he managed to put yours under his, palming your own chest with you.
"Eddie- feels' so damn good!" you cried.
"Cum. Cum on my face, please goddess," he groaned, sloppy sounds of him eating your cunt filling the entire garage.
"Give me your sweet cum, please baby," he practically whined, his hand lightly slapping your tit.
You couldn't help it anymore. You let it all out, your body started to shake yet his tongue remained attached to you, patiently waiting for your leaks to reach his mouth.
"Mm, good girl," he praised, caressing your ass.
"I thought..." you swallowed, trying to catch your breath, "I thought you weren't allowed to place anything on the hood," you sighed, listening to his soft chuckle, "Stuff on the hood can cause damage. Your naked body is a blessing." he bit you softly, making you giggle.
The metalhead didn't waste any time before gently lifting you to place you on your back, finally watching your blushed face.
"Who's my naughty little girl?" he spoke softly, caressing your cheek, "Me," you grinned, bitting your lower lip.
"I'm your..." your confidence died down when you realized the position you were in, and acknowledged the way he was staring into your eyes, "Yes?" he hummed.
"Your naughty girl..." you whispered shyly, avoiding his eyes, "Excatly. See how easy you learn things?" your knee brushed his erection, making the boy moan.
He pulled down his overalls, palming himself over his tight boxers to ease some of the pressure. You took the chance to sit up and carefully begin undressing him off his tank top.
His tattoos came in display in front of your face before you started placing sloppy kisses on his belly, "Beg," he made you look at him.
"Beg me to fuck you," he spoke with a baby voice to you, your eyes looking at him with desire, "Eddie, I need you," you kissed him, "I need you inside of me, please." you moaned, "Please baby," you formed a hickey under his tattoo, one that he visibly appreciated.
"Spread those thighs for me, goddess," he smiled, softly pushing them apart, "I haven't done this in a while Eds," you nervously spoke when his lips found your forehead, "I'll take good care of you, don't worry,"
His tip started, rubbing your wet entrance, making sure every inch of you was wet and ready for him. Eddie slapped his dick against you a couple of times before slowly and steadily pushing the head inside of you.
You moaned, feeling your body being lowered down back on the cars cold surface, your best friend's body coming down with you. His lips played with your neck, a few hickeys being left.
Your hands moved on the back of his head, releasing his hair from your hair tie before running your hands through them, "More?" he bit your jaw, "More." you breathed feeling his dick sliding all the way in, "Oh shit!"
He began thrusting inside of you, at first softly before his pace fastened up, the sounds of your skins contacting each other feeling the room, "Eddie!" you pulled his hair, earning a loud grunt from him, "Want to cum again don't you?" he huskily spoke, when you nodded.
"Cum you fucking cockslut," he whined, "Come around my dick," he went slow but hard, making sure you took every inch of him.
You cried out loudly, your nails digging his entire back as your legs wrapped around his waist, "Let's see if that little cunt, Chance, can pound you like this," he moaned, his face buried in your neck.
The knot in your stomach finally released, warm cum running down your legs. Eddie immediately pulled out, beginning to pump himself over your belly, "Can I?" he questioned, and you nodded when you felt him leaking on your skin.
"Ho- holy shit," he cried, kissing your thighs individually, a few minutes passing by in silence for you both to catch your breaths.
"We should get going," he then broke the comfortable silence, a smirk plastered on his stupid face, "What? Why?" you frowned, worried that someone was here, "You have a date tomorrow," he winked when you hit his back, a chuckle escaping his gorgeous lips.

griot - shuri x reader
A/N: LMAO I GOT THIS IDEA IN THE SHOWER AND I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE HILARIOUS SO I DECIDED TO WRITE IT
is the idea dumb? yes. is it gonna flop? maybe. am i still gonna write it? fuck yeah!!
dedicated to @locoforshuri i think ur really cool and i think you might like this so please read it my mutual bb <3
you waddled your way into shuri’s lab. being 4 months pregnant, you became extra clingy than usual and your hormones were all over the place. you figured spending some time with shuri might calm you down a bit.
you walked in and instantly noticed shuri’s frustrated state. you saw the images displayed on the blue screen in front of her, and remembered that this was the project she’d been stressing on a lot lately. it was a security system for the palace. she wanted to reinforce the building as you’d be welcoming a child soon, and wanted to keep it safe so that no harm would ever come to your child.
her muscles were tensed. you slowly walked up to her and covered her eyes with your palms. “guess who?”
“oh, is that riri?”
you swiftly moved your hands from her eyes to slap her on the arm. she giggled and turned around to give you a hug, mindful of your growing baby belly.
“hello, my love. i missed you. and you.” she said, moving down to kiss your baby bump.
“i saw how worked up you looked. wanna take a break and get some ice cream?”
“i’d love to, but i’m almost done with this algorithm. just wait for about half an hour? i promise i’ll be done after that!”
you sighed but nodded. shuri smiled widely and gave you a long, passionate kiss before turning back to her work station. you waddled to one of the couches in the lab and sat down, picking up a magazine on the table next to you to pass time.
after half an hour was up, shuri was almost done with the algorithm, but then accidentally hit the delete button instead of save.
“damnit! griot, can you retrieve the algorithm i just deleted?”
“it appears the recently deleted folder has glitched for some reason. i don’t think i’ll be able to access it.”
“oh for bast’s sake!! i did not design you to be this incompetent!!”
for some reason, hearing shuri yell at griot triggered something in you. you started crying and walked up to shuri, grabbing the end of the table as you tried to stabilise yourself.
“griot, can you hear me?” you sobbed out.
“yes, queen y/n.”
“i’m sorry shuri is being mean to you. she doesn’t mean it. she’s actually really sweet. she’s just a little stressed out right now, with a baby on the way and this thing she’s been working on for so long. i promise she didn’t mean to hurt your feelings.”
shuri was never more confused in her entire life. she knew your mood swings were severe and unpredictable. but this?
what made the situation even weirder is that griot started crying too.
“i do everything panther asks for, and it’s never enough. i know i make mistakes sometimes, but all algorithms glitch!”
the sight was hilarious. just you and griot sobbing together. shuri figured out that there was a bug in her system so she resolved that to make griot stop sobbing.
at first, she didn’t know how to calm you down. but then she realised what she had to do.
“griot.” she cleared her throat.
“yes, panther?” by now griot stopped sobbing and spoke clearly.
“i apologise for my rude behaviour. even though you’re an ai and have no feelings, i must still speak to you nicely. i hope we can move on from this and still work together?”
“of course, panther. no hard feelings.”
you stopped crying after that and wiped your cheeks. you smiled at shuri.
“see, griot? i told you she’s really sweet.”
“what’s sweeter is the ice cream we’re about to have. my lady?” shuri extends her hand and you take it, walking out of the lab together, talking about which flavour of ice cream you’re gonna get and what toppings you’re gonna ask for.
*lil bonus scene cuz you guys deserve it*
when the lab is emptied out, griot plays thot shit by megan thee stallion and quietly sings along.
“i’m a bad bitch”
BAHAHAHAH I LAUGHED MY ASS OFF THE ENTIRE TIME WRITING THIS AND I HOPE I MADE YALL SMILE TOO

I'll Share Azriel x Rhysand's sister!Reader
Summary: After being Azriel's mate for so many years, you've both learned what you're comfortable with.
This is my first ever time ever actually writing fanfiction so... that's not anxiety inducing.
Tumblr media
Life after Hybern was... easy. At least easy in the sense that instead of war planning during the days you now spend it babysitting, trying to learn a new hobby even though it gets dropped barley three days later, or just sitting around with the inner circle and learning about the others. Granted the last part mainly pertained to the newest members: the Archeron sisters and Lucien, with the occasional Varian.
It had been another night of casual drinking, for everyone but Cassian who was at least two extra glasses ahead of everyone else. The Illyrian general was the one to convince everyone else to join though.
You had been sat between Feyre and Azriel with Nesta, who had taken Rhys' spot, beside her. Elain had chosen to sit to the left of Azriel and the two had been conversing for the last little bit as you learned more about your High Lady and her oldest sister.
Feyre had been glancing over at you as she took another sip of her wine before finally deciding to say what she had thought.
"I've got to ask. Most females... would have already gotten upset by the closeness of another by their mate." She finished her statement by glancing around you and looking at how close Elain had gotten to Azriel.
His hand was still rubbing small circles into your thigh as he conversed with the middle Archeron, his other hand occupied by dragging a finger around the rim of his glass.
Persing your lips you glanced back at Feyre and sighed, "Me and Azriel have been together for almost as long as we've been alive truly. We've known about the bond since the death of mine and Rhys' mother and sister and accepted the bond a few years after I had healed from the accident." You took a glance at Azriel and turned you head back to Feyre where Nesta had also decided to fully tune into the conversation.
"We have had our ups and downs like all relationships, especially after I lost my wings and then came to terms with that. However, we have also found ways to... keep our relationship going. That includes with occasionally trying new things... or new people." You ended the sentence slowly as if you were going to say something else but decided this was the better way of saying it.
"So, what every couple decades or so you both just fuck other people?" Nesta asked glancing at you then Azriel and her sister.
You chuckled and breathed in to say, "Not... not like that. We just... sometimes invite someone new to join us. It's something we started a century or so ago. With rules of course! We both have to agree to the other person, and we all set guidelines to follow when we do it."
"So in a way it's just spicing it all up." Feyre stated even if it sounded more like the High Lady wanted to question it even more.
You turned your entire body towards them, so your back was against Azriel's side, his hand moving to the right side of your hip to hold as he continued whatever he was talking to Elain about.
"Listen. After about two and a half centuries, when you both have lots of outside stressors or new experiences in life you want to start trying new things. And sometimes that includes inviting someone to join you and your mate or sleeping partner." You explained. The two Archeron sisters nodded along, Feyre looking towards Rhys, pursed her lips and then back at you.
"So..." Nesta dragged out, "With this situation?" She nodded her head towards Elain and Azriel.
You turned your head backwards at the two in question and back to answer the conversation.
"The invitations go both ways. If he wants to invite someone, we talk about it and the same goes for if I want to invite someone. That being said, if Azriel wants to invite Elain into our bed, I'm okay with sharing." You stated with a smirk and took a sip as the two sisters looked at the middle Archeron and back to you and Azriel who at that moment leaned into you, kissed the side of your neck then winked at his High Lady and the oldest Archeron before going back to his conversation with the middle Archeron sister.

A Shitty Brother Kinda Christmas
(7,441 words)
Evan invites Michael over for Christmas after not speaking to him for over two years now. Shenanigans ensue
Michael was cold.
He was also annoyed and bored and excited and the slightest bit nervous.
But right now, he was just cold.
He was sitting out in the middle of nowhere waiting for a bus that had either already come or was nearly a half an hour late.
He was praying it was the latter.
It didn’t help that he’d had literally no time to prepare. Evan had called him at six in the morning and he’d had to rush to find a gift and means for transportation and it didn’t help that everything was closed for Christmas. So he’d thrown on the only coat he had and went for the first bus he could catch. Now he was stuck out in the snow waiting for a bus that might not even arrive.
But some things were worth getting hypothermia for.
Unfortunately for Michael, this was not feeling like one of those things. But it was a second chance, and he’s fucked up too much to give up on a second chance. Frankly, when Evan had asked for his number, he’d already expected not to hear from him ever again, and he’d made peace with that. As much peace as he could at least. It wasn’t something he thought about a lot, and he doubted Evan thought about it much either.
But today his head’s been full of it, as unpleasant as that is.
When the bus finally pulled up, the driver assured him that the snow was what caused the delay, and apologized profusely. Michael didn’t care, he was just glad it came at all.
The bus was almost entirely empty, which made his life a lot easier. He clicked on his phone, not that there was anything to look at. It was Christmas, after all.
When Evan had invited him, he’d known it would be disappointing to Jeremy; He always looked forward to Christmas, but he promised they’d have their own little Christmas when he got back, but this was the first time he’d spoken to Evan in… Forever. His little brother had a house for god’s sake! A house! And he lived with his friend! That friend who’d punched Michael, the friend who always let Evan stay over his house, the friend he’d totally definitely not gotten into a fist fight with more than once all because of his own stubborn attitude.
So yeah, Michael was a jerk. But in his defense, Gregory was stubborn too.
His phone pinged and he picked it up. It was Evan again. Geez, why did he keep calling? Michael had already agreed, he didn’t want to talk to him right now, not yet.
But he can’t keep putting it off, and he doesn’t wanna seem like he’s avoiding Evan. (Even though he is, technically.)
“Hello? Hello, hello?” He said, “What’s up?”
“It’s me.” Evan said, “Just wanted to make sure you’re doing okay? I’m really sorry it’s such short notice.”
“It’s whatever.” Michael replied, “The bus was late though.”
“It’s Christmas, that’s expected.” Evan replied.
This was weird. Not a bad weird, but not a good weird either.
“Yeah.” Is all he said, “Uhm, is there anything else you need? The service here is ass.”
“Uh, no, I was calling to tell you if the bus hadn’t come to just forget it because I didn’t want you to keep waiting. It’s cold outside.”
“No shit.” He said with a dry laugh, “I’m gonna go now. Bad service, you know how it is.”
“Oh? O-Okay, yeah, bye.” Evan said.
“Bye.” Michael said before hanging up and sitting back against the seat.
“Shitty service?” He mumbled to himself, “Idiot.”
“Well, that sucked.” Elizabeth said. She was hanging decorations she’d brought since their house wasn’t “Christmas ready” in her words.
“He’s probably just tired.” Charlie said, “I’m sure he’s happy you invited him.”
“Well maybe the invitation isn’t what’s got him in the dumps and maybe it’s more the timing?” Elizabeth said.
Evan shrunk back, “I really didn’t notice how close it was getting to Christmas, I just… I couldn’t decide if I wanted to invite him…”
Elizabeth shrugged, “Fair, I guess. I usually invite him over but he spends his Christmas with his friends a lot.”
“His friends?” Charlie asked, “Jeremy?”
“And those other kids from middle school.”
Evan scrunched up his nose, “He still hangs out with those guys?”
“Yeah?” Elizabeth climbs down the small step ladder she was on, “They’re his friends.”
Evan huffs, “Yeah, I know.” He mutters.
Charlie offers a small smile at him, nudging him, “He’s not bringing any of them, it’s just him, Ev.” She says, “I’m sure everything will be okay.”
He nods slowly, “Yeah, yeah I guess.”
“Hey, Evan?” Gregory calls from the other room where he’s helping Sammy set up for dinner.
“O-oh, yeah?”
“Why does Michael do that weird ‘hello? Hello, hello?’ thing?”
Evan blinked, “I… I don’t know, actually.”
“Oh my god he does that all the time I don’t think he even realizes it!” Elizabeth said, “It drives me insane!”
Charlie laughed, “Yeah, Sammy says he does it every time he calls him.”
“He does!” Sammy said, “Every time. I asked him about it once and he was just as confused as me! He just does it. It’s like an instinct.”
Gregory laughed too, “That is funny as hell I’m never letting him live that down.”
“Oh, speaking of living things down,” Evan hopped off his bed and headed to the kitchen, “You’re gonna be on your best behavior. If you and him fight, I’m sticking you both outside.”
“If you put me outside with him I’ll bury him alive in the snow.” Gregory said.
“I’m serious.” Evan said, “I don’t want you fighting with him.”
It’s not that Evan didn’t appreciate Gregory standing up for him, but it was stressful. He didn’t want his friend hurt for him, and he certainly didn’t want to spend Christmas breaking up his brother and his best friend.
Gregory looked over at Evan, “Yeah, of course.” He said, “No fighting.”
“And that means no punching, kicking, swearing, snapping, pushing, shoving-”
“Okay, okay, okay, no fighting.” Gregory said, “But he needs to back off sometimes, I’m gonna let him know.”
“I can let him know.” Evan said, “We’re going to have a nice Christmas like a family!”
They all turned to look at him.
“We’re going to have a nice Christmas like a… decent dysfunctional patchwork family…” He rephrased, “I-I guess.”
Gregory laughed at that, “It’ll be fun, I’m sure.”
“I wish you could’ve invited Nessa,” Evan said, “I’m sure she’d have loved to meet Mike.”
When Michael finally arrived, he was met with the entire house laughing at him. Even Evan couldn’t hide his amusement at seeing his brother pull up to his house soaking wet and shaking like a leaf.
“You look great.” Sammy said.
“Piss off.” Michael muttered.
“Come inside, you look like you’re gonna freeze to death.” Charlie said.
“I feel like it too.” Michael muttered.
They brought him inside and Evan found himself suddenly regretting every decision that led up to this.
He felt sick, and he realized with a shock that there was a reason he had avoided Michael. He didn’t know what to say to him, what to do with him, or what to talk about. What do you say to your big brother who you ghosted for nearly two years after getting his number? What do you say to the person who ruined your life? What do you say to the person who treated you like shit and almost killed you and only formally apologized a couple years ago?
Gregory must have noticed because he discreetly led Evan back to his room and sat down with him.
“Not ready?” He asked.
“Not at all.” He said, flopping onto his back.
“What is it?” Gregory asked, laying down beside him.
“I don’t know. I haven’t spoken to him in forever and I was cool with that but then we did talk again and then we split up again and I just… How can I never speak to him again after that? How can I not give him at least a chance to be better? But at the same time… I don’t want to talk about The Thing, and I don’t want to bring it up but I can’t move on if I don’t and I feel sick thinking about it because what if it goes wrong? What if I fuck it up? What if he fucks it up? What if all this bullshit was for nothing this whole time and I’m just gonna end up hating him more than I already do?”
Gregory listens intently, staring at Evan, “You know, I told you not to invite him.”
“I know but-”
He continues speaking, interrupting Evan, “But! You insisted. Why?”
“Because I want to give him another shot.” Evan said.
“And he came because…” Gregory raises his eyebrows expectantly.
“Because he wants to take that shot.” Evan said, slowly understanding.
“So, you want to give him a chance? You don’t have you, you don’t owe anything to him, especially forgiveness. Do you wanna cut this short? Nobody would blame you if you did. I sure as hell wouldn’t.”
Evan sits up, “I guess.”
Gregory smiles, “Why don’t you take some time, dinner’s not done yet. Nobody’s rushing you, and I’m sure Michael is just as nervous. The only difference is that he deserves it.”
Evan laughs a bit at that, “Be nice.” He said.
“No promises!” Gregory called as he walked out of the room.
Frankly, Gregory was right. Michael was just as nervous. In fact, he wanted to curl up in a ball and sink into a hole and die right about now. He didn’t know where to sit so he ended up standing awkwardly off to the side.
Unfortunately for him, Sammy was quick to act like he owned the place. Gregory and him were like siblings, to be fair.
“Come on Mike, sit down.” Sammy said, “What’s wrong, are you nervous?”
“No. Not at all.” He muttered, “I just prefer standing.”
“Yeah, well, you look out of place with the Christmas decorations and I need to take photos so unless you wanna be my santa clause, I suggest you move.” Elizabeth said.
“You're as blunt as ever.” He muttered.
“Thanks, I try my best.” She replied with a grin.
He sat down next to Sammy, pulling out his phone, only to have Charlie grab it away from him, ignoring the indignant noise he made.
“Aw, Jeremy? Are you guys dating yet?” She teased.
“Wha- no! Give that back!” He lunged, reaching for it, but she snatched it away too quickly.
“Come on, Mike, you’ve gotta have something interesting in your life, how’s my dad?”
“Uncle Henry’s doing fine.” He answered as he continued to chase her around, “Give it back Charlie!”
“What pictures do you have? Aw, is that your dog?” Charlie pulled up a picture.
“No, it’s Jeremy’s! Now give it back!”
“What’s its name?” She asked.
Michael looked over at Elizabeth and exaggeratedly gestured at Charlie, but she just laughed at him.
“She missed messing with you, this is your own fault.” She said.
“She’s right, messing with Evan isn’t as fun. He doesn’t get mad like you do.” Charlie said.
Michael scowled at her, but he couldn’t deny that it made him feel a lot better though.
When Gregory and Evan returned, Michael offered a smile and a small wave at Evan, that his brother slowly returned.
Evan was pale, but Michael didn’t mention it; He probably was too. Although that could just be from sitting out in the snow for half an hour.
He was still a bit upset about that.
Elizabeth invited him to sit beside her, which ended up sticking him right beside Evan, who had Gregory on his other side, who had Sammy next to him, and then Charlie beside him, and then it came full circle back to Elizabeth.
Great, cool, cool cool cool cool cool. This could go one of two ways:
One, it goes horrible and awful and everything that could go wrong does go wrong.
Or two, it goes fine and Michael’s overreacting.
But he could tell Evan was uncomfortable, and the tension was uncomfortable for him as well.
He took a breath before standing abruptly, “Actually, I ate at home and I could totally just grab a hotel or something so I’m gonna-”
“You’re not leaving.” Evan said.
Michael turned to him, “I’m sorry what?”
Evan shrunk back, “I-I just mean- you can stay here. Uhm… Unless you really don’t want to which is fine but you know you should stay here with us because it’ll make it easier and honestly who sleeps in a hotel on Christmas Eve I mean-”
“Okay! Okay. That- we can do that, that’s fine.” Michael said. He sat back down slowly, staring hard at his plate.
“And I can tell you didn’t eat at home.” Evan said, “I don’t like that you’re lying to me.”
Michael doesn’t reply to that, shrugging.
Evan’s eyebrows furrow, but he doesn’t say anything else. Gregory leans in next to him and whispers something, though.
So it went bad. Not awful, but bad. Michael didn’t eat much, but the food was good. Henry knew how to cook, and it seemed like he’d taught the twins how to cook as well.
Elizabeth leans back in her chair, “So, now that we’ve invited Michael, who wants to send a call to dear old dad? I have his number.”
Evan groans, “Not again with this…”
“Please, please Evan it would be so funny please.” Gregory shot up in his chair, “Please you didn’t let me do it to Michael let me do it to your dad.”
“Do what to Michael?” Michael asked.
“They wanted me to prank call you guys and send you random shit. Gregory, my dad will find and kill us all. I hope you know that.”
Prank call his dad? Prank call the William Afton?
“No wait I like this idea, Ev, we should do it one hundred percent.” Michael said.
“See? He agrees.” Elizabeth said.
Evan rolled his eyes, “You guys are the worst.”
“We’re the best actually.” Charlie said, “And it’s uhhhh… five against one.”
Evan sighed, “Do what you want. I need to set up our room anyway.”
Charlie cheered.
“I actually think I’m still in his contacts.” Michael said, “He keeps texting me, I don’t read 'em though.” He didn’t tell them that he repeatedly hesitated and refused to block his dad for a reason he himself couldn’t fathom. But to be fair, Lizzie hadn’t blocked him either. In fact, she still messaged him back sometimes. Even if the conversations weren’t friendly, he couldn’t imagine talking to his dad ever again, he didn’t know how she did it.
“And we don’t wanna start today, let’s use Charlie’s phone.” Sammy said.
They spent the night sending random images to William until he blocked them, and then they went on to relentlessly call Jeremy, who had apparently been asleep, before they went on to call Gregory, and stayed on call with him while he and Evan set up.
It was weird how normal this was. It was weird how quickly it had become just spending Christmas together instead of unloading 15 years of bullying and 21 years of loathing.
But then again, they were the Afton family, pretending to be normal was their whole thing. They did it for the first eighteen years of Michael’s life.
But he could sit back and enjoy this before the incredibly uncomfortable conversation that was inevitable. If him and Evan would quit avoiding it.
Gregory then came in to let them know the room was ready.
Sitting down in Evan’s house was one thing. Sleeping in it was a whole other thing. He felt like a teen again, when his dad was in the hospital for one of his springlock accidents and Michael had to stay with Henry while he was gone. That had sucked. His dad hadn’t wanted to bring him over Henry’s house, so he hardly knew Charlie and Sammy, and because of that he’d felt so out of place in their house. Not to mention his siblings were there, and by then he was sick to death of them.
Thinking back on it, he did have a lot of issues as a kid. Maybe he still had them. Who was he to dwell on it, though.
Michael Afton has issues, like that’s news.
This time he made a point to sit beside Elizabeth. She wasn’t the best choice, but she was the only one who still messaged him. Despite how she acted, she always wanted a family. But she got the Aftons, which is more like a classification than a family.
She gave him a disappointed look, but he ignored it.
The decorations in the room were really cool. They had lights strung up on the walls and they’d put up blankets to hang over them, as well as covering up the window. The floor was layered with blankets and pillows, and Michael noticed it looked like a nest.
He had taught Evan how to make nest-like pillow forts when he was only four. Michael had been seven, and hadn’t even been good at teaching, but Evan had really enjoyed it. Michael hadn’t enjoyed teaching him, but it kept the kid quiet and that’s all he’d needed. But this fort was obviously not a product of his teaching, since it was unlikely Evan remembered that.
Weird that he’d remember that. It felt like a karmic “fuck you” from the universe.
Evan was really enjoying this. He didn’t feel as anxious anymore, and it felt almost normal. He had been preoccupied with everything else to think about The Thing and it made him feel a lot better about it. He was also proud of the pillow fort, which Gregory had helped with a lot. They’d had it planned for a while, and he was glad it turned out so well.
Good food, good bed, good friends, and so far no issues with Michael. None that he wanted to talk about yet, at least.
This was a good day! A great day! And hopefully a great Christmas day would follow!
He was quick to pull his friends into it and talk to them about it. He loved how cozy it looked. Like a shiny little nest. It was awesome and he loved it so much.
“Wait. Wait! I need my camera!” He went out to the kitchen, “Gregory? Do you know where I put my camera?”
“I put it in the end table drawer! The bottom one, next to the couch!” Gregory called back.
“Awesome. Thank you!” He grabbed it and ran back into the room, “Mike get in the back you’re the tallest, Gregory and Charlie, I need you guys up front. Elizabeth, get closer to Mike, come on. Sammy, you’re perfect there don’t move. It’s on a ten second timer so hold that for a moment!”
He ran over to them, positioning himself beside Michael and behind Gregory.
He went to grab his camera when it was done, smiling at the picture, “It looks awesome, I can’t wait to print it.” He said.
The others crowded over to see.
“You’re pretty good at sitting still and looking pretty.” Charlie teased Michael, “It’s your one redeeming quality.”
Michael shoved her face away with his hand, “Oh piss off.”
“He said the thing again!” Sammy cheered, “He said it earlier too. I feel like I’m in England every time I talk to him.”
“Did I tell you guys about that time Evan screamed ‘you cunt’ at the top of his lungs?” Gregory said.
“No! No! You promised you wouldn’t tell them about that!” Evan wails, grabbing Gregory’s arm.
“He was playing a racing game or something and he just lost big time. Huge time. Horribly. Awful. It was embarrassing.”
“Gregory!”
“And he just shouted at the top of his lungs. In the most British I’ve ever heard him, it was insane.” Gregory continues, “He had to apologize to our neighbors. It was hilarious.”
Evan covered his face, “It was awful, I felt so bad.” He groaned.
Michael chuckled, “That’s funny, Lizzie was always the one who used British slang. She got it from our father.”
Elizabeth shoved him playfully, “Okay Mr. I-Say-Bloody-Hell-And-Piss-Off-Every-Five-Seconds.”
“Pi- leave me alone!” Michael said indignantly.
“He almost said it again!” Charlie said, laughing.
“Jeez, you people are impossible.” He said.
At that moment, his phone rang. “Oh, shit, it’s Jeremy. I’ll be right back!”
Evan watched Michael leave, his head tilted slightly to the side.
Gregory nudged him, “Feel better?”
“A bit… Thanks.” He answered.
Gregory smiled, “I told you it’d be okay.”
Evan nodded, “I’m stressing out a bit still but I do feel better. Maybe I was just overreacting.”
“Mike is being super weird though.” Elizabeth said, “He’s not usually like this with his friends.”
“Well duh,” Charlie said, “he’s overthinking just as much as Evan is. He’s just shit at hiding it because he’s not a ball of fear and sadness the way Evan is.”
Evan frowned, “Well I wish he’d just act normal. I don’t like that he keeps lying to me. He makes everything harder than it has to be.”
Charlie hummed, “He’s just scared. Like a little animal in the woods.”
Evan couldn’t stop his sudden and loud laughter at that.
But he did feel angry. He wasn’t going to say it, he wasn’t sure he was ready to say it, but he felt it. Michael wasn’t even trying.
“I’m gonna use the bathroom real quick.” He told Gregory.
Michael knew the call wasn’t Jeremy. He also knew it would end long before he wanted it to. It’d been one of his friends from middle school, and they had hung up several minutes ago. But he liked the silence while it lasted.
“So, you’re avoiding me?” Evan asked from directly beside him.
Michael jumped with a shout, nearly falling off the couch.
“Jesus Christ, Evan!” He gasped, “Don’t do that!”
Evan didn’t react, “Whatcha doin’?”
“Sitting… on the couch?”
Evan’s eyebrows furrowed. He looked like Dad when he did that.
“No, actually,” he said, “you’re being a bum. Alone on Christmas? Come on, we’re heading to bed now.”
Michael nodded, “Yeah, okay.”
They spent the night doing random things. Charlie told some scary stories, they watched a movie, Michael showed them his playing card collection and Evan beat Gregory at war at least ten times, and Elizabeth got a whole console out and they played a few different games.
Of course, the tension did not leave. Everytime he accidentally bumped into Evan or one of them said something a little too… Iffy… it only got thicker.
When he looked over at his little brother, he noticed he was asleep. Him and everyone else.
Well, except for one.
“Can’t sleep?” Gregory asked.
Michael shrugged, “Who can sleep on Christmas Eve?”
Gregory eyed the others, “Them, apparently.”
Michael chuckled, “Yeah, I guess so.” He said.
They fell silent, and Michael laid down on his back, staring at the blankets hung above him.
“You know I don’t want you here, right?”
“Yeah. I know.”
“But he does. Don’t ruin that for him. Or Elizabeth. She said she’s been trying to get you to come over for Christmas.”
Michael stares at him, “I don’t talk to her a lot, I thought she was just being nice.”
“She was.” Gregory said, “I don’t doubt she was. But she still likes talking to you. I don’t know, don’t you think maybe she actually cared if she asked every year?”
Michael scoffed, “I told her every year that I spend my Christmas with Jeremy. Or Henry.”
“Speaking of Henry, what’s he doing for Christmas if Charlie and Sammy aren’t there?”
Gregory sat up, “Charlie said He remarried or something.”
“Really?” Michael said, “That’s… He didn’t tell me that…”
“I might be wrong but that’s what I heard.”
 “Hm.”
Gregory looked over at him, “You’re kind of a loser, you know that?”
Michael stared at him for a moment before he burst out laughing.
Gregory shushed him, “You’re gonna wake them up, shut your mouth!” He hissed.
Michael flopped over on his back, still laughing, though he tried to keep quiet, “You are incredibly blunt.”
“Well, to be fair, I don’t particularly like you very much,” Gregory said.
“I can tell.”
When Gregory heard him go quiet, he glanced over his shoulder.
“Lightweight.”
Evan woke up with a pillow being chucked at his face the moment he sat up.
So he stayed down.
But he could hear Charlie and Michael laughing.
Michael sounded like he’d been doing this for a while, and Charlie kept squealing. The noise was quickly giving him a headache, but it made him feel better about the day, and that’s all he needed anyways.
The day?
Holy shit it’s Christmas.
Evan bolted upright, “It’s Christmas.”
Gregory laughed, “Yeah, it is.”
Elizabeth threw herself on Evan and pulled him into a hug, “Morning sleepyhead!” She said, “You’re the last one to wake up.”
“We’ve been waiting forever.” Sammy groaned, “So I started chucking pillows at you and seeing if you’d wake up.”
“I told him not to.” Gregory said.
Evan smiled, “You guys are amusing. Has anyone made breakfast?”
Charlie points at Michael, “I told him to.”
Michael pushes her finger away from his face, “And I told her that I have not cooked something edible since I was 15.”
Elizabeth shuddered, “That lasagna was not edible.”
“Har har har.” Michael muttered, “at least I tried.”
Charlie sat up, “Me and Sammy made dinner, it’s someone else’s turn.”
“I vote Greg does it.” Sammy said.
“What? Why me?” Gregory whined, “I always do it!”
“I’ll make it.” Evan said.
“I’ll come help.” Elizabeth jumped to her feet.
She grabbed Michael’s arm, “I’ll show you what edible actually means.”
Charlie waved Michael goodbye with a smirk on her face as he scowled.
Evan took out the stupid cinnamon rolls in the weird circle can thingy? He didn’t know anything about them but they were good so who cares.
Michael frowned, “This is breakfast?”
“You look like you live off ramen noodles, shut up and enjoy Christmas dinner as it should be.” Evan said.
Michael blinked a few times.
“… You don’t… You don’t actually live off noodles, do you?”
“…”
So Evan learned several unpleasant things about Michael’s eating habits.
But so far, so good. He’d only felt soul crushing anxiety twice since Michael got here!
So… Good?
He wasn’t sure but it wasn’t bad so that had to mean something.
Despite joking around, Evan was a bit irritated. Michael was still being weird and it didn’t help that Elizabeth clearly didn’t understand the tension.
“You two are too quiet, come on, it’s Christmas.” She said, “Loosen up!”
“I’m just tired, Liz.” Evan said.
She flicked his forehead, earning a yelp from Evan.
“Well, don’t be, it’s Christmas!”
He didn’t like how much this reminded him of home. He didn’t like that this reminded him of his sister avoiding and ignoring his problems or his brother never listening to him.
They were all so different, but some things never change.
Unpleasantly, his mind drifted to his dad. But he pushed those thoughts away. He didn’t know why he always thought of his dad when he talked to his siblings.
“Evan, it’s done.” Elizabeth said, “Do you wanna frost it?”
Evan nodded, “While they’re still hot.”
She smiled at him, “Then we can open gifts? You’re gonna love what I got you, I promise.”
No, his siblings were nothing like his dad. No doubt they have pieces of him in them—No doubt Evan did too—But they were not him.
Maybe he could learn to live with those pieces. He’d done it with Elizabeth.
But it was just so much harder with Michael. Even now, when they were laughing and pretending to be okay, he felt dissatisfied. He wanted more than this, he wanted reassurance that his brother actually wanted to change and didn’t just feel bad. What if Michael was doing this for himself? To make himself feel less guilty? Less at fault?
As cruel as it sounded in his head, he found himself regretting giving Michael this chance. He didn’t deserve closure, not when it had taken Evan over a decade to get his own closure. He knew Michael was trying, but why did he get to decide when this change of heart came along? Why did he get to decide when this ended?
He settled in his seat beside Gregory, who was talking to Charlie and Sammy. Elizabeth was quietly talking to Michael, and Evan stayed quiet. He had things to think over. A lot.
When they finished, Charlie and Elizabeth practically dragged him to the tree.
Michael hung back, and Evan felt a twinge of… Something. Sadness? Anger? He didn’t know. But it was something.
Elizabeth insisted he opened hers first, so he did. It was a camera. Except it was yellow and had little bear ears and…
“It’s Fredbear!” He exclaimed, “It’s so cute! Oh my god, Lizzie, this must have taken forever!”
“Charlie helped with it,” She said.
He looked it over, “And it’s brand new… Smile!” He pointed it at Elizabeth and Charlie, snapping a photo quickly, “Oh my god, I love it, Liz.”
She grinned, “I knew you would.”
Gregory smiled at Evan, pushing a small box closer to him.
Evan unwrapped it slowly, before slamming it down and giving Gregory a playfully harsh look, “You did not.”
Gregory laughed, “I really did.”
He held up the sweater, “This is so dumb I’m gonna wear it for the rest of my life.”
The sweater was black with a skull on it, but it was sporadically decorated with random Christmas things. It looked so strange and out of place and he loved it.
Of course he got Gregory an equally ugly sweater, one with flowers on it, but the middle of the flower was replaced with Glamrock Freddy, one of the characters made for Fazbear Entertainment after his father had sold it off in response to the horror rumors about it.
Evan knew they weren’t true, but they still made his skin crawl sometimes.
Sammy bought him a crochet kit, with a bunch of colors for him and Gregory to mess with. He must have remembered Evan mentioning that he wanted to pick it up as a hobby.
They continued exchanging gifts, and Michael was quiet for the most part, as if he was dreading something, which Evan found amusing; of course he was nervous, he’d had one day to find thoughtful gifts for people he hardly spoke to.
Suddenly, just as Evan was going to stand, Michael tossed something to him, and he jumped in surprise.
“I didn’t know what to get you, to be honest. I, uhm, I hope this isn’t a shitty gift…” Michael said, “I also hope it doesn’t like… ruin your day… it’s a hit or miss, so I’m taking a shot.”
Evan blinks a few times, “Alright…”
He carefully unwraps the gift, gasping softly when he sees it fully.
The fur is worn, and the stitches are messy—the handiwork of his uncle, no doubt—and one of the ears has a hole in it, but there’s no mistaking it.
It was Fredbear.
The original plushie.
The one he hadn’t seen since he moved out of his dad’s house.
He’d had another, one that Gregory’s dad had made for him, but it’d never been quite the same. It also didn’t talk to him.
… Well maybe that was a good thing.
He didn’t take his eyes off it as he spoke softly, “Where… did you get this?”
“Dad sent it to me since he didn’t have contact with you. He didn’t give me a chance to say I didn’t either. Henry patched it up and it’s just been collecting dust for the past few months.”
He stared at it. It reminded him of a lot of things. The animatronics on stage that terrified him, being bullied, his nightmares, his dad, The Thing, meeting Gregory, that day he broke his ankle, that time Mike almost hit him with his car his first time driving it, when he spent that first night with Gregory, and so many other things.
“Huh…” He said.
“Is it… a good gift…?”
“Yeah, yeah I missed him.” He said, “Thank you.”
Michael smiled.
Elizabeth stood up, “Well, that was sweet,” she said, “let’s get this picked up now.”
They all groaned, and Lizzie clicked her tongue, “Come on, guys, this isn’t our house, we can’t trash it and leave.”
So they picked up. It wasn’t hard, but at some point Charlie bumped into Elizabeth, who playfully pushed her away, and then that ended with the two of them wrestling each other to the ground. Sammy jumped in and for a moment Evan thought Gregory would too, but he didn’t.
So the two of them just continued cleaning while Charlie squealed. And he glanced over at Michael.
He was picking up alongside them, and Evan couldn’t stop himself from laughing a bit.
Michael frowned, “What? What am I doing?”
“Nothing, nothing, it’s just funny that you’re cleaning. We were lucky if Dad got you to pick up a sock, much less your room, much less Henry’s house.”
Michael scoffed, but didn’t say anything.
Thanks for participating in the conversation, I’m glad we’re talking. Evan thought sarcastically.
Gregory looked like he wanted to say something, but he bit his tongue when Evan gave him a look.
“No fighting, I know,” He muttered.
God this sucked a lot.
Michael didn’t know what to say. And he was annoyed that Evan would bring that up. He got so much shit from his dad for not picking up his room, but he could never bring himself to care. He’d hated that house, he’d hated his dad, he’d hated his siblings, and god he’d hated his little brother.
Not that he knew exactly why, though.
His thoughts were interrupted by Elizabeth grabbing his arm, “It snowed last night, do you guys still get snow over in Utah?”
“What? Of course we do!” He said, “Why wouldn’t we?”
“I don’t know, you seem so grumpy I thought you must have never experienced a good thing in your life.” She said.
Evan winced and Michael frowned, “I’m not grumpy.” He said.
“Sure, as if you haven’t been moping around. You know, if you were just going to sulk this whole time you shouldn’t have come,” Elizabeth crossed her arms, “Nobody forced you to come, but you’re acting like this is the worst place to be right now.”
“I’m just… nervous…” He said slowly.
“Nervous? About what? You came because you wanted to see us, didn’t you?” She challenged, “You’re just being dodgy today, I don’t know. You just nudged gifts to us and mumbled ‘thank you’ and hung back, why aren’t you at least trying to participate?”
“I am trying! I’m just not feeling it, okay? Why do you even care, you’re not the one who invited me!”
Elizabeth scoffed, “I invite you every year and every year you shut me down, but not Evan? Is this even about him? Because it feels like it’s about you!”
Michael stared at her, “I’m trying my best!”
“Avoiding us is your best!?”
He fell silent. One look at Evan and Gregory told him they had been thinking the same things.
Goddammit.
He really had been neglecting his sister, hadn’t he? It’s not that he meant to, it’s just that he didn’t know how to talk to her. Her life fell apart pretty quickly once their father’s parenting… declined… but even then she still reached out to their father. Whether she actually thought he could change or if she was just doing it for herself, though, he had no idea.
He was trying to settle these things one at a time! why did he have to fuck up with both his siblings?
“She’s not wrong.” Gregory said, “You’ve been weird lately, and it’d be much easier for everyone if you just… I don’t know… talked? You’re not getting anywhere sneaking around like a dog.”
Michael felt his anger spark at that, “I’m not sneaking around! And don’t call me a dog!”
Elizabeth clenched her fists, “Well if you were really here to make amends, you’d put some effort in, but instead this feels more like a shitty way of getting closure and making yourself feel better-”
Evan stepped forward then, “Okay, that’s enough!”
“-And maybe if you hadn’t almost killed Evan he wouldn’t hate you so much!”
The whole room fell silent.
Evan stared at her, “Elizabeth…”
“It’s true!” She said, “It’s true! He’s always done this! You just avoid us, you shut us out, like that will help, and then you come crawling back for forgiveness so you don’t feel like shit about it!”
“Elizabeth!” Evan shouted.
She turned to look at Evan, and they locked eyes for a moment. She sighed, “I’m going… To go to the gas station for a bit. Call me if you need me.”
Michael watched her go, silent. His gut was twisting and he felt sick.
He was a shitty brother all around, wasn’t he?
He couldn’t even get his sister to like him. Not that he’d tried very hard. Elizabeth made herself feel untouchable. She avoided her brothers because she didn’t want to be caught in the middle of whatever they were doing. She hadn’t been talking about Evan, not entirely. She was probably lonely, he realized.
He looked at Evan, “I didn’t… I’m… I’m sorry…”
Evan stared at him, “Do you want to talk about It? Now?”
Michael laughed, but it was dry and humorless, “No, but I’m willing to, if you want to.”
“We’ll leave you guys alone.” Charlie said, grabbing Gregory and Sammy and pulling them away.
“Liz is right, you’re not really proving anything other than the fact that you feel bad. Which is… It’s annoying.” Evan said, “I know you feel bad, I’ve known that since I got out of the hospital when I was ten, Mike. I don’t need to know you feel bad, I need to know you care and want to make an effort to change.”
“Well, I am trying I just-”
“Don’t know how?”
Michael looked up at him.
“...Yeah.” He said softly, “I don’t know what to do, I hardly know you guys anymore.”
Evan sat down beside him, “None of us do, it took Elizabeth years to even look at me, and even longer for us to finally start actually talking. There’s a lot of things we can’t fix. Elizabeth will always be blunt, that will never change. It’s something she got from Dad. She can’t help that, but she can make it better.” He looked up at Michael, “And I think you can, too. If you just talk to me, but you won’t. And that’s making it hard. I don’t want to push you or bother you but I really really need to just… understand this.”
“So… About The Thing…”
“Yeah, The Thing. Me almost dying, you putting my head into heavy machinery? That Thing?”
“Yeah.”
“I… I still have the scar, you know? It healed over pretty well though, head wounds do that. But I still dream of it, you know. Do you have nightmares?”
“Of seeing my little brother’s head get crushed like a grape? Yeah,” He took a deep breath, “Hard to forget that when I spent at least five minutes staring at it.”
Evan stares at the floor, “... I don’t even remember when it happened. I didn’t feel it at all. Not until I woke up, at least.”
He takes a deep breath, “I… Can I just ask you why?”
“What?”
“Why did you do all that? Why did you treat me like that?”
Michael fell silent. He never talked about the why. It’s not that he didn’t know. He knew. He had known since he started, since he watched his brother’s skull get crunched in front of him.
“I thought it was funny,” He said, “I didn’t like that Dad did all that shit to me. He obviously enjoyed it, and I enjoyed doing it to you. Some kind of fucked up stress relief, I guess.”
Evan stares at him, looking hurt, “That’s brutally honest.”
“You said you didn’t want me to lie to you.”
Evan nodded, “Yeah.”
They sat in silence for a bit, before Evan spoke.
“I don’t know if I want to forgive you or not,” He said, “It’s not that… It’s not that I don’t think you’ve changed but… I still have nightmares. I still remember these things that happened to me and they… they suck. But sometimes I feel like a jerk because I know you’re trying and I know you don’t get why this is so hard for me but… But I really hate you. I hate that you are here for closure, I hate that you are here at all. But I invited you.”
“I think I do get it.” Michael said.
“Hm?”
“I… I haven’t blocked Dad yet, did you know that?”
“Really? I blocked him the day I moved out.” Evan said.
“I keep not wanting to. I keep thinking, ‘what if something happens? What if I need to talk to him?’ even though I know that’ll probably never happen.”
“So I guess I can get where you’re coming from. In a weird twisted way, you know? I don’t know how to cut him off, but I don’t know how to talk to him. It’s like there’s a door open in front of me and I’m too scared to walk through it but what if I close it and it locks? What if there was something good in there?”
Evan doesn’t take his eyes off Michael, before he says, “Give me your phone.”
Michael blinks at him, tilting his head, but he slowly hands Evan his phone, “What’re you doing?”
“Blocking Dad.”
“What!? Did you not hear anything I just said?” He reached for his phone, but Evan was quicker and pulled away from him.
“There’s nothing behind that door, Michael.” He says, startling Michael with his intensity, “Nothing that you want or need. You left that room forever ago and you deserve to stay out of it for the rest of your life. You and Liz.”
Michael watched him and his hand dropped back to his side.
Maybe Evan was right. Maybe there was nothing behind that door. Maybe he was just wishing there had been something in that room. It’s like he was closing and opening it in hopes for something new.
“...Thanks.”
“Always available for cutting off shitty family members. I’m incredibly good at it.”
Michael laughed, “... Yeah… you are.”
Evan stood up, “I think that’s enough for now, I don’t know if I forgive you, honestly.”
Michael shrugs, “Eh, that’s not the most of my worries,” He says, “I guess this was something of a test run?”
“If it was, I think it turned out okay.”
When Elizabeth got back, Michael took her aside to talk to her. Evan didn’t listen in, but he knew what they were talking about, and he did indeed see them hug tightly. It wasn’t Evan’s business. He left it alone.
So things weren’t fixed. But they were better. They had wrapped old wounds. Nothing was healed, but they weren’t bleeding anymore, and that was good.
The rest of the day was fun. Elizabeth insisted Michael stayed, but he had to go home eventually, and there was a mutual understanding that he needed some time alone after all that. It was overwhelming, and Evan was definitely done with seeing his family for a bit. They weren’t friends, but it was something.
He watched Michael walk outside, where Jeremy had come to pick him up.
“Hey, Mike?” He called.
“Yeah?”
“Thanks for coming.”
Michael smiled at him, “Thanks for letting me.”
Not forgiveness, and in the end he would always prefer the family he’d made for himself, but otherwise this went well.
That being said, he was never inviting that many people over for Christmas again. He should’ve gotten them together for Thanksgiving instead.
Gregory pulled Evan back inside, “Dude, it’s freezing, come inside.”
“Yeah, yeah.”
Gregory looked inside, “This place is a mess. What happened to ‘we can’t make a mess and leave it’?”
Evan laughed.

SWEET HEART
fem reader x steve harrington
Tumblr media
WARNINGS: jealousy, alcohol usage, reader is intoxicated, angst, fluff, strong language!
Y/n had been best friends with Steve ever since she was born, before her father left and her mother became and alcoholic Steve was by her side, for every school day, every break,
every summer day and night he was by her side spending his nights talking and exploring with her.
going on adventures like even saving the world from monsters created in the Hawkins lab while "baby-sitting a group of pre-teens"
Y/n had gotten her first job together, she went to the first school dance with him well as a third wheel, Nancy wheeler was his date.
But she couldn't blame him that was his girlfriend (at the time)
Nancy had been apart of him, taking up every ounce of his life consuming it whole with her popularity growing with each move she took,
The truth was y/n had been jealous ever since hearing that Steve had been dating Nancy, she was so upset she had gone home and spilt tears in her pillow,
letting the phone ring by her bedside over assuming that it was Steve, someone she especially hadn't of wanted to speak to not after it had felt like her heart had been viciously torn in half.
shortly after was when he started to grow cold, distant even growing nasty towards some of his friends never towards y/n well maybe sometimes, getting angry that she didn't want to go with a party with him.
She tried her best to keep it together well in-front of Steve and Nancy she did making sure to stay quiet, but not quiet enough for Steve to notice something was wrong, that something was off about her.
That she had been mad at the twos relationship mad at the way they held hands under the table, mad about them sneaking small kisses right next to her in the cafeteria,
so fucking pissed at the fact it wasn't her that bad his attention, it wasn't her that was tasting the left over flavor of coffee on his lips.
it made her so mad like she could've tossed her tray all over the couple and stormed out but of course she didn't.
She didn't want to seem petty or cruel towards them, she even complimented them on their relationship on how "cute" or "adorable" they were trying to not let it kill her inside, even though it did for years,
The way Steve had bawled into her hands when Nancy had gotten so drunk she told him she didn't love him, the night he could feel the ground sweep out from underneath his feet the way he could feel the entire world flip upside down in just her few words,
watching the girl covered in liquor say that everything about them was nothing but a bunch of bullshit saying they had killed barb.
Because they were to busy fucking to notice, but none of it was their fault they didn't know there was a monster running loose, they didn't know about the gate, or the lab, or even where Will was.
Y/n had listened to Steve describe the night to her while he slipped in a VHS tape of their favorite movie propping his feet up onto the coffee table while he sat back on the couch cracking open a beer, offering her a sip but she declined with a half smile.
He had spoken about the way he felt like a man, the way he was so gentle with her, or how easy it was to enjoy a moment like that,
y/n had to listen to the taunting at lunch the way his friends mocked Nancy's moans "oh Steve!" They called rolling their eyes back into the skull almost maybe to their brain
hell if they even had one at this point.
she had picked at her cuticles raw hearing how Nancy got to enjoy the moment she was mad it wasn't her feeling Steve mad that the only touch she ever got was him nuzzling up to her with tears in his eyes or just a hug.
until they had separated because Nancy had fallen in love with someone else.
She remembered the night Steve had come to her crying, burying his face in her lap wiping his tears on the denim of the jeans she was wearing,
he was weeping into them softly while he ranted about her harping on and on how he thought he was better than Jonathan not knowing why she would've cheated with him especially after all they'd been threw.
-
Now she was still right by his side stacking up vhs tapes in the Family Video Store,
she grumbled slightly setting down an empty box over the counter behind Steve who had been fiddling with a pen in his hand,
she could see Nancy slip into the store doors this time alone without Jonathan by her side,
she had her hair in those tight curls while she skimmed the aisles looking for some cheesy romance movie to bring back to Jonathan.
"hey nance" Steve smiled hopping over the counter with a smirk he leaned against it watching his best friend roll her eyes tossing another empty box over the counter.
"hey Steve i was wondering if you had the breakfast club again? Jonathan wants to watch it again for some reason but I don't mind since I think he's caught a cold"
Nancy spoke clasping her hands together, Steve nodded before leaning down to the shelf behind her pulling the movie off of the rack.
"Shit am I blind" she chuckled holding the movie in her hands clasping it like a bimbo school girl would hold a book,
well if y/n had to admit Nancy was no bimbo she was highly intelligent but that didn't mean she had to like especially after all the nights she had felt Steve crying in her lap over her.
Which is why she had started to grow cold thinking about how friendly Steve had been to Nancy not saying he had to be a bitch,
but the flirting and the playful jokes had grown a bit uncomfortable when y/n was around them, she felt like she was back in high school third wheeling them for everything,
everywhere they went they were flirting hell even Jonathan had noticed this but he was to timid to say anything just like y/n.
they both knew about the little glances,
the flirty remarks the touch way to close to one another, everything about their tension sending a signal of pity threw their veins.
Y/n slammed down a tape onto the counter before slipping off her vest tossing it over the counter,
Steve had noticed but went back to talking to Nancy until he saw her storm out of the video store, tucking her hands into her jean pockets.
He held up a finger to Nancy before walking out of the glass doors, he could see y/n pull out a cigarette from her pocket to which he took it from her hand, folding his arms looking at her.
"what's going on you stormed out of the store?" Steve asked his hands moving to his hips where he placed them like he always did
something that she was always able notice and yet she knew that was his most comfortable position.
"I'm cutting my shift short today you can tell our boss to cut my pay I don't care I just need a break for right now."
"Well why don't i pitch in for your 15 minute break so that way you can rest out here for a bit but no smoking I told you and Eddie that"
Steve spoke rubbing her shoulder but she moved his hand away even though she wanted his touch so badly she refused it.
"I'm alright I just need to go home and clear my mind for a little bit Steve"
"I can give you a ride?"
Steve offered and watched as she shook her head only making his face turn into a soft frown.
"thanks for the offer stevey but I can't you still have a shift to work and I can walk it's not that far I have to stop somewhere anyways"
"well don't forget to swing by at that party tonight I heard pretty much the whole gangs gonna be there well except for the children obviously"
She smiled at Steve before starting her walk,
she kicked a pebble with her boot blowing out a sigh, she could feel her cheeks start to grow hot, her eyes starting to water and finally the tears came rushing down on her face.
-
she sat back on the couch grumbling a couple who was getting a little to touchy next to her, she stood up harshly storming her way up the stairs where
she could see Steve sitting in an open bedroom with Nancy she rolled her eyes before walking into the bathroom slamming the door shut making the walls around her rattle.
She cursed softly before sinking back onto the floor, her back laid flat while she watched the ceiling, her eyes flicking around the room.
She could hear a knock at the door before seeing Steve appear in the room, shocked to see her laying on the bathroom floor an empty red solo cup next to her hand that had been open flat as she looked up at the ceiling her eyes tracing the white paint.
"y/n why are you on the floor it's filthy" he tried to sit her up from the floor but she pushed away his hands scooting away farther from him.
He knew something was wrong, maybe she was drunk, well he wasn't wrong she was drunk right now probably drunker than she had ever been.
She stood up leaning over the toilet on her knees so she could spill the contents from her stomach, feeling the liquor physically starting to disagree with her as her stomach had made a rumble.
He held her hair back watching her wipe her lips clean with her hand before resting her head back against the wall, he dropped her hair making sure to brush it from out of her face.
"party party party! Steve loves to party, mostly he loves those pretty girls with their asses hanging out, he loves to be a keg master and flirt with all girls in the whole damn world!"
She slurred with a quite drunken laugh at him hitting his chest while kneeled in-front of her.
"you're drunk y/n, super drunk" he grumbled at her and her drunken words that had started to make him rethink pieces from his past.
"you should go hook up with someone like maybe Nancy" she spat at him with a harsh tone and even drunk she could sense that her bitterness was over the top.
"Nancys dating jonathan they've been together for two years now I would never hook up with her so what the hell are you even on about"
he shook his head at her confused to why she was acting so bitter, so angry at him for some reason he couldn't figure out.
"Never mind you're drunk that's what's making you say all these crazy things y/n"
he scoffed standing up watching y/n wipe some drool from her chin.
"I want to leave I'm done with your bullshit this is all bullshit you and this party is all bullshit I don't wanna be around you!"
She stood up rapidly feeling her legs wobble to the point she almost had fallen over but he caught her stopping her from a tumble to the tile on the floor.
He had carried her down the stair case before setting her on top of the kitchen counter
so he could pour her a glass of water from the sink, he handed the glass to her watching her almost take a sip but she set it down onto the counter behind her
"drink it y/n I don't wanna have to tell you again" y/n rolled her eyes at him pushing the water even farther away from her.
"Don't tell me what to do!"
She yelled accidentally grabbing the attention of the people around her, Steve smiled awkwardly before looking back at her.
"Stop do not make a scene" he whispered bitterly but she hadn't cared she hadn't minded who saw or who heard she was done.
"I can't be controlled like Nancy Wheeler"
the people around them gasped at her cold hearted words watching her hop down from the counter stumbling her way outside until she flopped back tuning into the feeling of the liquor feeling her head spin,
her mind was in a whirlwind of what was happening, she knew her words were wrong but her brain and mouth couldn't stop.
She couldn't stop saying them or thinking them, because the liquor was flooding her system.
"y/n quit making a scene just drink the fucking water!" Steve shouted watching y/n toss it onto him with the accidental flick of her hand trying to push it away from her.
He shook it off angrily before grabbing her wrist, she tried to wiggle loose from his grasp but it was to forceful on her.
"Steve stop, stop Steve!" she raised her voice at him and it was no use because they were already outside of the house.
"I'm gonna take you home! Just stop y/n stop please relax for a moment will you?"
he was frustrated now having to pull her up so she wouldn't slink down to the ground from how wobbly her legs were from the alcohol.
there were no words said until now she was weeping into him holding onto the slim fabric of his mustard yellow colored sweater
while her tears rolled onto him, her body shook as she was sobbing into his shoulder feeling his soft hands rub against her back shushing her that everything was going to he just okay.
She tossed her head against the porcelain of the bathtub making a soft grunt when she heard the thump from her head,
"It's not fair Stevie it's just not fair"
she admitted watching him wipe a tear from her face with the pad of his thumb and wiping it onto his blue jeans.
"What's not fair baby? Why are you so upset tonight? what's going on in that mind of yours to make you get so worked up?”
He asked feeling her head being tossed into his lap while she looked up at him in a drunken haze, her eyes wide as she flicked at a piece of his hair that was dangling.
"all those girls" she sniffled finally being able to stop herself from crying, "all of them" she spoke nuzzling her face into him.
"What about them?"
He spoke as he lifted her body up, he couldn't bare to have people staring at her as she cried and well she needed to go home because she was drunk and obviously distressed about  whatever she had seen or she had heard about him.
He placed her in the passenger seat as he buckled her in and started up the car, he watched her head being sloppily thrown against the window as she whined at the bumpy road.
"What about the girls y/n?" He asked and used his thumb to rub away a tear that fell down the delicate skin of her cheek.
"you like them a lot"
-
once tucked away in his bed because he didn't want her to have to stay alone for the night he curled in with her to hear her speak.
because she had stopped talking in the car it was cause she had been felt nauseous from the way her head was spinning in such rapid circles almost like a whirl wind that wouldn't let go.
"talk to me sweetheart, it's okay" he rubbed her back gently and could hear her sniffle a little,
"I want you Stevie, all to myself" she admitted and he could feel his heart start to bubble a little,
"you have me right now baby, I'm right here" she could feel as her hand grasped onto his and their fingers intertwined with one another.
it had made her want to cry,
"what about Nancy and all those other girls? it's so much to compete with" he placed a long lasting kiss on her shoulder blade.
"I'm all yours, no competition, no other girls y/n you're the one and only sweet heart" he knew that she wouldn't remember his words in the morning and it made a part of his heart sink.
-
a grueling hang over she had woken up to, her memory scrambled but she could remember yelling at Steve last night.
She remembered feeling car sick, she figured other fragments would come back to her but what caught her attention was that she wasn't in her own bedroom.
She was in Steve's, where a fresh shirt and a pair of his boxers had been laid out on his bed just for her to change into.
Once finally changed she stepped into the living room to see that he was sitting on the couch sipping a cup of coffee in his hand.
He had VHS tapes spread out on the coffee table where his feet covered in a white pair of socks were covered up with.
she looked down at the tapes and noticed that most of them were new movies, new movies that had just released and he got access to them first.
"pick a movie y/n it's our Friday movie day after all" she smiled softly and watched as he put his feet down onto the rug below the table.
she picked up the same movie they would watch every Friday and she could see the smile on his face widen a little.
"Out of all these movies you chose the same one we watch every Friday night"
he spoke and watched as she reached for another movie but he gestured her hand away.
"You already made your pick sweet heart besides this is pretty much a tradition between us now" he smiled and stood up from the couch to put in the tape leaving her breathless at the pet name.
Her eyebrows furrowed a little and she wondered if she had said anything stupid to him last night, if she had fucked up in any way to make him act this way.
once the movie was in the VHS player and the screen on the tv began rolling with the intro and credits they had curled up under a blanket.
Steve himself was wearing a simple tee and just a pair of lounging around pants he wore whenever the two of them stayed home.
she couldn't bare the silence between them now especially with the fact his hand was on her thigh and rubbing in soft circles.
it had driven her to the point she couldn't even focus on the movie because of his touch.
she had placed herself in his lap and without even a hesitation she started to kiss him, feeling his hands hold onto her sides as he pulled her body even closer to his.
"you said you wanted me all to yourself" he smiled at her when they pulled away and watched as she stared at him.
"did I?" She asked and watched him nod with such an eager smile it made her heart throb.
"y/n l/n you will always be all mine, nobody else can ever take this spot from you sweet heart because I love you"

If there is a thing that is true about Jeon Jungkook, it’s that he was born to be the bane of your existence. You’ve never liked him, he’s never liked you. All through high school, you hated each other. And when you got to college and had to attend the same one, the hate only grew.
It’s not that Jungkook is a bad person. He’s just always irked you, in all the worst ways. His presence annoys you, his dumb smiles and stupid smirks make you want to punch him. His explicit jokes and cocky remarks make you roll your eyes to the back of your head and, frankly, you really hate him. Abhor him, and all the worst words in the dictionary somehow apply to him.
It’s even worse when he’s assigned to be your partner in a project in one of your elective classes that he ended up taking too even though your majors have nothing in common. Because now you’ve suffered through hours of his annoying personality, and you’ve also just learned that he slept with your best friend last year, before she suddenly ghosted you.
She’s moved colleges now, and you’ve long moved on. But the reminder makes you see red, in that little study room where you’ve been for the last hour and a half.
“Fuck off,” you tell him, because some part of you refuse to accept it.
He smirks, tilts his head to the side. “What? Too hard to accept that some girls want to fuck me?”
You laugh, but it’s entirely devoid of joy. “With you? All of them are just stupid.”
“Right.” He still sports the annoying smirk and you really feel like punching him for it.
But you have a project to focus on, so you do that even though he keeps looking you up and down like you’re a piece of meat. He’s surprisingly intelligent though, and his insights on what to do are mostly good, so at least you get to advance on the project a lot.
You’re dreaming of your dorm bed, of hiding under the covers only to resurface when Jungkook will be gone from your life when a trio of girls open the door of your little study room, saying that they have reserved it for the next two hours.
Your eyes slide to Jungkook. “I thought you had booked it,” you tell him.
“I couldn’t, it was already booked,” he says, shrugging his shoulders. “I’m done anyway, we can finish some other time.”
You clench your jaw. “I’d really like to finish today, Jungkook. We’re almost done.”
“Then come over to my dorm,” he suggests, and he’s got a smirk on his lips when you offer him a glare as you’re putting your laptop in your backpack.
“Fuck off, I’m not going to go over to your dorm,” you tell him, slightly shaking your head in disapproval.
“I can go to yours if you prefer,” he suggests.
You really don’t, but your wish to finish the project is stronger. You know your roommate won’t be there – ever since she started dating someone that has an apartment not too far from campus, she’s been spending most of her time over at their place. So that’s how you find yourself sitting cross-legged on your bed while Jungkook is at your desk, shooting ideas as if you’ve never really hated each other after all.
You form a better team with him than you ever expected you would.
“What about this?” Jungkook suggests.
He sends you a link from an article he was reading, and you quickly skim over it. “It says the opposite of what we’re trying to explain.”
“I know,” Jungkook says. He sighs, picking up his laptop to move to your bed.
The sudden closeness makes you stiffen, a frown moving on your features, but he’s entirely immune to it as he points at a line on the screen.
He recites it, before adding, “See, it would be perfect”.
“You did not just find a single sentence that can be used?”
He furrows his brows as he meets your gaze. “Yes?”
You laugh, and it’s a little cold. “If the TA looks at the sources he’ll fail us.”
Jungkook rolls his eyes this time. He leans closer, which in turn makes you lean back. You’re very aware all of a sudden that one of his knees is brushing your leg, and your mouth slightly parts as if in anticipation.
“No TAs actually look at sources,” he says, head cocking to the side. “Especially not Namjoon.”
Right. Your TA is one of Jungkook’s friends anyway, which you reckon might be the reason why Jungkook took the class in the first place.
He sits back in his spot, and you take a deep breath as you straighten. “Right.”
He looks as if he was expecting you to talk back, but as you return to focusing on the project, so does he. You don’t see the time go, but at a certain point a loud rumble coming from Jungkook’s stomach has you ordering burritos. You’re almost done eating, surprisingly able to converse with Jungkook about high school without feeling like murdering him. He finishes his burrito first, and then he says, “Your teeth looked so weird when I met you”.
You cock an eyebrow. “Excuse me?”
“Before you got your braces,” he says. “People made fun of you all of the time about it.”
You frown. “By people you mean you?”
He offers you a sweet, innocent smile as if he wasn’t your bully for years. “Yeah.”
It kills the conversation as you just stare at him, holding his gaze for a while. Your burrito is long forgotten in your hands when you blink, as if breaking out of a reverie.
“You were the worst person I knew, back then,” you tell him a little pensively.
“I was just teasing you! You always got worked up over nothing.”
You scoff. “You really were the worst thing to happen to me,” you tell him a little pensively. “I mean that.”
He looks insulted, somehow, as if he believes he’s the best thing to ever happen to everyone around him. You reckon he might actually believe that, with the size of his ego.
“That’s a bit excessive,” he says, a frown taking over his features. “It wasn’t like you were any better.”
“I treated you the way you treated me,” you drawl. “Didn’t like it?”
“I just thought…” he trails off, scoffing. “I just thought it was funny.”
“In what kind of sick and twisted world is bullying someone funny?” you ask.
He doesn’t reply. He just stares at a vague spot next to you, looking so conflicted you want to push him out of your dorm.
“I wasn’t bullying you,” he finally says, voice small.
“Fuck off, Jungkook, you were,” you snicker, a cold laugh falling from your mouth.
He meets your gaze then, and he looks so angry your eyes widen. “I didn’t realize that I was. What the fuck do you want me to do about it now?”
Your burrito suddenly catches your attention, because you’re too much of a coward to hold his gaze. “Maybe stop being an asshole?”
He chuckles bitterly. “I’m not an asshole. You’re literally the only person I know that thinks I’m an asshole.”
“Maybe because that’s the way you act with me, Jungkook! You’re always on my back.”
You see him rolling his eyes as you look up, your anger giving you enough courage to be able to hold his gaze.
He says your name like it’s an insult. “You’re the one that takes every opportunity you get to insult me,” he points out. “To call me a man-whore because I sleep around. What’s so wrong with having a little fun?”
“You rub it into everyone’s face!” you burst. “That’s what’s wrong.” You pause, and it’s your turn to chuckle bitterly. “And you fucked Nabi and she ghosted me.”
He purses his lips, glancing down at your chest. You’re wearing a turtleneck, so you know he’s not looking at your breasts. He’s just avoiding your eyes, and he suddenly seems extremely guilty.
“Not my fault,” he grumbles.
“Not your fault my ass!” You shake your head in disbelief. “What the fuck did you tell her to convince her to ghost me?”
“I called her by your name,” he admits, and he meets your gaze then. It’s a little intense, a little dark, and your heart misses a beat in your chest.
“You called her by my name? You’re so fucking weird.”
As you were speaking, Jungkook’s gaze trailed to your mouth. So he’s looking at your lips when he says, “It’s so hot when you talk back”.
You were about to insult him even more, but all you manage to choke out is, “What?”
His big doe eyes look up to meet your gaze, before dropping to your lips once more. “Every time we fight, I have to physically refrain from grabbing your face and kissing you stupid.”
You have no idea how the conversation got here. Only that it makes the very bottom of your stomach warm up. “What?”
“I want to kiss you,” he says, drawing out every syllable. “I’ve had a crush on you my whole fucking life.”
You want to punch him, to tell him he’s even more of an asshole than you always thought he was. All you can do is put your burrito to the side and jump on him, grabbing his face and clashing your mouth on his.
It’s so hard you taste a little blood, but as soon as your lips connect you lose sense of everything else. There’s just him and his lips and his large hands moving on every inch of your body, caressing you over your clothes before he feels emboldened and rids you of your shirt.
His mouth drops to your erect nipple then, and he murmurs that you’re beautiful as he sucks on it lightly, tongue flicking at it right as he pinches the other one. You moan, one hand going to his hair, pulling at the long strands.
He takes that as a cue to kiss you again and so he does, his tongue parting your lips until it’s lapping at your own. He swallows the sounds you make as his fingers move between your legs, blindly looking for your clit through the fabric.
He pulls away, letting out a frustrated grunt, and he tears his shirt off before helping you out of your pants and panties.
In less than five minutes you’ve found yourself entirely naked with the bane of your existence which, you reckon, feels way too good.
He’s quick after that. Quick to bury his face between your legs and pull an orgasm out of you. Quick to take off his pants as you watch his erection spring free. Quick to put on the condom he finds in his wallet, and quick to kneel between your legs.
He watches you as you rub your clit mindlessly, before pushing in in one powerful thrust, bottoming out when there’s still some of him left. You cry out, grabbing onto his thighs as he starts fucking you, quick and hard, and it’s no wonder you come again as he angles his dick to hit a sweet spot inside of you.
He comes into the condom as your walls pulsate around his cock, teeth digging in his bottom lip so hard you think he’s going to draw blood. He only relaxes his features once his dick stops twitching inside of you, and he’s quick to pull out.
And that’s how you start having sex with Jeon Jungkook. It’s an irregular schedule, with exams and part time jobs and parties and friends keeping you away from each other, but somehow you still find Jungkook buried deep inside of you a couple of times each month. You still hate him, hate the effect that he has on you, hate how he’s able to make you beg for it.
It all culminates on a late February evening, when he arrives to your dorm two hours after he said he would with a bright red hickey on his neck.
“What the fuck is this, Jungkook?” you ask him, pointing at the proof he was with someone else. “You’re still fucking other people?”
“Are you not?” he asks, rubbing his neck. “You keep insisting that it’s just sex. Why do you even care?”
You fold your arms on your chest, taking a few steps away from him. “It’s just weird. When did you fuck her?”
You hear him scoff. “I didn’t fuck her. We just made out.”
“As if that makes it any better,” you drawl.
“You’re so fucking confusing,” he complains, with an edge to his voice. “What the fuck do you want from me?”
“Nothing,” you tell him, surprising yourself when you realize it’s true. “I’m done with you.”
“Fuck off,” he spits. “You’re just throwing a little jealousy fit because you can’t admit to yourself that you care about me.”
You laugh, a joyless sound that feels like nails on a blackboard. “The funny thing is I really don’t. I don’t give a fuck who’s under you, Jungkook. As long as it’s not me anymore.”
“What? You’re just going to end things like this?”
You nod, finally turning to look at him. He’s scowling, eyes burning with unhinged anger.
“Yeah,” you tell him. “Leave, Jungkook. The project was last semester, this has lasted for way longer than it should have.”
“Alright,” he snickers. “Suit yourself.”
And then he’s gone, not once looking back at you. It hurts to watch him go, somehow, and you curse yourself, force yourself to forget about him. It works – you barely even see him on campus to begin with anyway. So much so that, eight months later, you’re dating Kim Taehyung, an exchange student from Korea, when you actually run into Jungkook for the first time again, at a bar you don’t usually go to.
You’re at the bar, ordering drinks for you and Taehyung who went to the bathroom when Jungkook approaches you.
“Haven’t seen you here before,” he drawls, leaning on the bar. “What’s bringing you here?”
“A date,” you reply truthfully. “If you even know what that is.”
He furrows his brows, rolling his eyes. “You haven’t changed.”
“Okay, Jungkook.”
He remains silent for a time, and then his expression relaxes. You don’t like the way he’s looking at you, doe eyes turning nostalgic. Especially not as he says, “I wish we had ended things on better terms”.
You chuckle bitterly. “Sorry, Jungkook.” You pause, looking towards the bathroom as you see Taehyung walking out. You direct your gaze back to Jungkook before speaking again. “It could’ve been worse. We could’ve fallen in love.”
And then you’re receiving your cocktail and Taehyung’s beer, so you walk away, not once looking back towards Jungkook.
Little do you know that Jungkook fell in love, all those months ago. Tried to forget it with someone else, only to have it backfire in his face because of that stupid hickey. So, he watches you go, feeling sick to his stomach, then figures that getting drunk and fucking a stranger should help him forget.
He knows it never does, but it’s all that he knows how to do.

Andrias vs. Collector: Who Was Redeemed Better?
Andrias hands down. Not only is it helped IMMENSELY by character consistency with him but it actually functions with what we know of him. Despite literally only ever getting half an episode dedicated to him (he doesn't actually get a lot more screentime than The Collector, especially while as a villain) we understand his motivations, the reasons for his cruelty, why Marcy made him cold and annoyed every time she was even mentioned post True Colors (he did not enjoy torturing Marcy. The literal only claim there is one line from True Colors where he blames her but otherwise, Marcy is fridged SPECIFICALLY to give someone for Andrias to show regret about) and then when shown how far he had fallen from the good man he was, he goes ahead and tries to fix that. First a final act of heroism but then not asking for forgiveness or the like. He is too guilty to need, or perhaps even want, such things and he instead can try to put things right on his own. In the end, we are left with the impression that Andrias WILL continue to tend to Amphibia now until the day he finally dies. It's actually done pretty well for the fact that it's given such little direct attention, especially by the time he's supposed to start being redeemed.
Meanwhile, the Collector's arc only works if you ignore large swaths of the show. His redemption mostly comes down to the idea that he needs to learn morality and that other people can be hurt by his actions but... He already did. In Watching and Dreaming, he yells at Belos controlled Raine specifically about how King will hate him for the nightmares, showing that he understands that his actions can upset people. In S2B, he talked about wanting to play with bones and criticized Belos for potentially murdering the Grimmwalkers, kind of opening up a moral conversation about the nature of Belos' treatment of them while showing his knowledge of death.
Even if we believe he didn't know these things and try to say he was manipulated, we can't. Belos' goal was extremely explicit and back when he was Philip, he had no reason to lie to the Collector. A spell to kill all witches in return for your freedom was the deal. That's pretty damn evil and the Collector could have always said no but instead he's EXCITED for them to be dead in Hollow Mind. All that matters to him then is his freedom, screw anyone else. Then when he is freed, he has neither the archivists or Belos to push him around and tell him what to do. As such: Why the fuck did he make the hunting stars? You know, the roaming stars that turn people automatically into puppets, rendering them to a fate worse than death as they are conscious and aware of what's going on, even as they are entirely incapable of doing anything about it. They are still around MONTHS later. Hexside literally keeps watch for them. If he is just a little guy, why the fuck did he make those in the first place and why are they still around?
None of this is ever addressed though. Instead, the show spends a quarter of its finale, and a decent chunk of the special before it, focusing on trying to redeem him and show him off as a good guy while not having him actually acknowledge the awful, terrible things he did. There's no taking of responsibility like with Andrias. There is no proper refusal of his morality or change in his thinking. Even his attempt to make peace with Belos is flawed because it's still the same all or nothing thinking that we've seen up until now for the Collector. "I do X, I get friend." It's not actually an acknowledgement that other people are complex and have their own free will, it's just a new form of trying to easily get what he wants. Then after her turns people back, which is good, he just leaves. He doesn't do anything to actually make up for what he did or allow him to face a world that he has irrevocably damaged. Instead, he abandons it all. All that responsibility and guilt can just be left behind instead of actually worked on. How is that a show of what he learned? Of him rejecting how he was before? Of him being REDEEMED?
It makes it much less an arc and more something we're told. At least when Andrias powers down to make Anne's final punch on him more effective, we have seen his regret. We have seen his motivations. We have seen as one is pushed into his face and the other torn down. Then we get to see him act on it, allow his conquest to fail, as a willful decision to back down from that evil rather than double down. Then we see follow through with him in the timeskip where he is still simply trying to make up for his sins, even if no one will ever tell him his work is done.
We don't get anything like that with the Collector and that's why he will always be easily worse to me.

i would like to discuss the washing r’s mouth out with soap idea because DAMN. plz wanda wash my mouth out with soap and then sit on my face so all i taste is you
warnings: toxic behavior, possessive behavior, mommy kink, pet play if you squint, Stockholm Syndrome
toxic Wanda headcanons because I'm on my period and I get to spoil myself!!
You have no idea what you're getting into when you first meet her. Wanda seems so nice and gentle when you first start talking, that you ignore the tiny red flags that may pop up when you two first become friends. For a moment, you're convinced that Wanda was entirely oblivious to your feelings at first. It's hard talking to her, so you opt to make her jealous instead.
It works a lot better than you intended and Wanda is pissed. Like, drag you to another room and spend an hour giving you hickies pissed. You stupidly take this as the sign of a new relationship, but Wanda refuses to make anything official for some weeks. She goes on "dates" with other people and won't show any affection towards you.
Eventually, she makes the demand that you two won't become official until you've "cleansed yourself". You agree without even thinking about it but immediately regret when she makes you kneel on the bathroom floor and open your mouth so she can brush your teeth with soap. Wanda makes you gargle it like seven times before she's done and then she spits in your mouth. She makes up for it by giving you a bath, but she gets you dirty again because she face fucks you to finalize the process.
After that, you two have a constant on again/off again relationship. Wanda constantly blames you for it though. In her mind, the rules she makes are completely reasonable and you're just being difficult when you refuse to follow them. It's always you who comes crying back to her because you'd rather die than live without her.
It's on, then off, then on again only a few more times. After putting up with her god awful behavior enough times, you end up leaving for goods. You don't even bother telling her you've moved out. One day she comes home and it's half empty. You're lucky you don't get to see her flip her lid. She nearly destroyed the whole apartment that day.
Not that it truly matters. Wanda spends weeks stalking you. What she finds genuinely makes her sick. You're independent. Living on your own and you seem happy. Wanda doesn't know what to do with herself. You need her and she's going to remind you whether you like it or not.
Her plan is simple. Wanda shows up once you come back from work and acts like nothing happened. She pushes right into your house and suddenly it's all "oh babe, you look so tired. why don't I make you dinner today? I'm sure you forgot to eat. you're too scared to force her out and she ignores you every time you tell her to leave. Denying her doesn't work either because she's crank everything up to 11. she'll be all over talking about how much she missed you and won't ever treat you like that again.
It doesn't matter if you're not convinced because she planned on fucking you dumb and convincing you to stay with her anyway. The second she gets between your legs it's all "see, your little pussy missed my cock so much! i bet it's extra said because you tried replacing mommy with some loser who can't even fuck you half as good as I can"
You're lucky if she lets you see your friends after that. If you ever leave the house she'll put a tracker in your bag somewhere. She totally plays hero with it if you ever lose your wallet or keys because she'll just magically know where everything is
God forbid she has even the slightest physical advantage over you because she lives off of intimidating you. It's even worse because you'll grow to love it. She can toss and turn you anyway she wants and you'd be completely hopeless against her
Gaslighting 24/7. "You're hanging out with your friends more than me, why don't you just stay home tonight? You know all your friends hate me. Just stay, please?"
Oh, you fully get downgraded from partner to pet. Wanda slowly takes away your right to care for yourself. Everything from cooking to showering has to be done by her or at least with her permission. You'll be completely naked around the house and it becomes a "privilege" to sleep in the same bed as her.
Wanda loves forcing you to get body modifications too. It's just a small tattoo that says "Property of Wanda Maximoff" on your wrist. Maybe she'll force you to get matching piercings sometimes too. Anything that shows that she literally fucking owns you
Obsessed with making you cum. Like the only way you can ever get through to her is by denying her sex. Wanda has this weird thing where she can't ever force herself on to you. If you say no or can't get wet enough, she'll do absolutely anything if it means getting you to relax and go into subspace. "Please baby. Show mommy she's doing a good job and cum for me. Please? I promise I'll play nice if you do, just cum for me again."
You make the mistake of using it to get some autonomy back, but it bites you in the ass mega hard. Clothes overstimulate you now, your food doesn't taste nearly as good as Wanda's does, and you miss being on your knees for her. Of course, she rubs it in whenever you go back on the freedoms you gave yourself, but she's happy you've learned your lesson.

Tumblr media
Warnings: you can decide whatever era you want this to be in (can be modern!elvis too), strong language, smoking, elvis not liking dee, small mention of gladys, christmas eve without family, christmas eve party, not a 'traditional' christmas ig, drunk elvis, drunk shenanigans, small mention of sex.
A/N: Merry Christmas Eve, darlings! Hope y'all have a wonderful time where ever you are and whatever you're doing these holidays. 💗☃️
masterlist
Tumblr media
It's the first Christmas Eve where it's just you, Elvis and your friends.
Dodger is spending the evening at Vernon and Dee's house, who decided to stay at home this time and would be coming over for Christmas the next day.
He doesn't say it, but Elvis is lowkey excited about this. This way, he could postpone seeing Dee for another day.
He decided to give everyone time off to spend time with their families and so on, so you two had been busy in the kitchen the whole day to prepare dinner.
He insisted on helping and while you thought it was sweet, it was mostly so he could get your praise when he didn't fuck up and boast about his cooking skills to the guys.
He was more skilled in the kitchen than you thought he would be and he was actually having fun with it.
His bordelaise sauce? Chef's kiss.
Now that he had to open a bottle of red wine for the sauce, he couldn't stop taking sips here and there because he's in the groove of cooking.
“Elvis, stop drinking that wine,”
“It’s opened and it won’t taste as good if it just sits there,”
“You know how you get when you’re wine drunk,” taking the bottle from him, you'd sneak a sip yourself and put the bottle aside.
He'd turn into a gossiping middle aged woman, talking everyone's ear off but when someone would give him a look or say something he didn't like, he could turn nasty.
You loved Elvis, but that's not the route you were planning to go on tonight.
Luckily, he hadn't had enough to even be tipsy so you made him a bloody mary to sip on while cooking instead.
Even though he didn't like to drink much, the both of you were planning to get drunk tonight since there wouldn't be any family around to tell you to calm down.
Getting ready together. Idk why but these are vibessss to me.
You'd help him shave, he'd help you style your hair because your arms would get numb.
“Red or pink?” you'd ask him, holding up two lipsticks in front of his face.
He wouldn't even hesitate to pick the pink one, because it fit the dress you were wearing.
“Let me put it on ya, yittle,”
Makes you pucker your lips, kissing you over and over again before he finally decided to apply the lipstick to your lips.
Him choosing the perfume he likes most on you and sniffing you the entire time after you put it on.
He likes the fact that he's in all black and you're wearing a pink dress. Food for his eyes.
Before everyone arrives, you two stand by one of Gladys' framed pictures and say a prayer, talk to her about the things you have accomplished this year, etc.
You knew his mother when she was alive, so doing this with you was extra special to him.
Tumblr media
In the span of a half hour, the house was rowdy and crowded with people.
Members of the Mafia, their wives and girlfriends, some cousins and their plus ones, some other friends.
Since you had a big group of friends, the both of you had decided that dinner would be kind of a "self serve" thing.
You made food to last for days and everyone was enjoying themselves and eating their tummy full, so you and Elvis deemed your time in the kitchen a success.
Secret Santa.
He made the person who picked your name weeks before trade with him, because even though he had bought you a few presents for Christmas day, he wanted to give you more.
You had done the exact same thing, because you loved spoiling him just as much.
He bought you a pair of heels you had been eye-ing for months along with some other things he knew you wanted.
You bought him a bracelet with both your initials engraved into it, cologne (the one you couldn't get enough off), some skincare products. To you, they were typical things but he loved everything you gave him.
After the gift exchange, one of the guys suggested to light fireworks.
Since none of them could wait until New Year's Eve, they all went outside to light a few, all giddy and excited like the children they were.
Most of the girls stayed in or close to the house, including you because the only thing you could handle were sparklers.
With one of Elvis' coats draped over your shoulders, you stood near the front door, drink in one hand and sparkler in the other.
You were having fun with the girls until these fuckers would start aiming those damn fireworks at each other.
You were used to it since this was one of their things and even though you could laugh at it, you were worried too.
“Elvis, please be careful!”
“Yes, baby, always am- you son of a bitch,”
Red missed your boyfriend's head by an inch with one of the firework missiles, running for his life when Elvis came after him.
You knew he could handle himself out there, but you were relieved when they decided to leave the rest of the fireworks for NYE.
When they started a snowball fight, you and some other girls quickly got back in the house because you weren't about to freeze your ass even more than you already were.
The girls helped you clean the kitchen a little until the boys came back in.
He'd stick by your side most of the time but you allowed him to wander off now and then, talking to people and whatnot since you were doing the same.

The later it got and the more drinks were nursed, the longer he'd linger by your side when he found his way back to you.
He was getting more handsy too and when he wanted to dance, you knew the alcohol was doing its work.
Other people were dancing too and since you had a good few amounts of drinks in your system as well, you wouldn't deny him a dance.
Even if the songs would be upbeat ones, he'd keep you pressed against his chest firmly, his hand sneaking down to your ass now and then to give it a little squeeze.
Kissing you every chance he got. Like, full on making out and not caring that there were other people present.
Making home videos and taking pictures. He always wanted to be behind the camera, but would swing his arm over your shoulder to trap you into his side, blabbering into the camera about how much he loved you while filming the two of you.
The tape would probably come out horrible afterwards, but you knew he'd never get rid of it, because memories.
Would go around and make everyone do a little speech, making them say how much they loved his food and how great the party was.
You couldn't wait until he'd hear back his own drunken, slurred words so you could tease him with it.
You weren't much better, though. Telling your friends you loved them over and over and that you were going to give Elvis a handful of children.
Even though he was steadily getting more drunk, karate.
So, so, so much karate.
You had to barricate the Christmas tree with your body because Joe almost flew through it several times.
You decided to challenge your boyfriend and in his giggly state, he accepted.
“Gotta take those heels off first. Fuckin’ murder weapons,”
Laughing, you took your shoes off and threw them aside by the coffee table, mimicking his position.
Though before he could come at you, you pointed a finger at him.
“Do not throw me or anythin’, El, I swear!”
“Honey, this ain’t wrestlin’,”
He would already be laughing his ass off before even starting, but when you wanted to take advantage of him not looking your way, he caught you by surprise and wrapped his arms around your waist to tickle you instead.
More dancing.
Now you were the one almost flying through the tree because he'd spin you around like a rag doll, singing along to the music with his eyes closed.
Would randomly take two Christmas baubles out of the tree and hang them in the hoop earrings you were wearing - ofcourse he had to take pictures of that too.
Either has a cigar or cigarette hanging between his lips or fingertips most of the time because he smokes even more when he's intoxicated.
Makes you hold them when someone challenges him for a round of karate again or when he goes to use the bathroom. Would definitely pout when he came back to find you having smoked them.

Turned out you were better at handling your liquor than your boyfriend.
When he was laying on the ground by the tree and trying to sneak open random presents, you knew it was time to slowly let the party come to an end.
It was after three when the house was empty and even though you weren't exactly sober yourself, you felt the need to clean a majority of the dishes so you wouldn't have to do it tomorrow.
He'd call out to you that he was going to help, but he never got up, nor did he manage to open any presents.
Belting out random songs as he laid there on the ground, laughing excitedly when you'd sing along from the kitchen.
Did not help or whatsoever when you dragged him up the stairs, instead leaning his full weight on you.
You managed to get him in the bedroom though, a big grin on his face and his eyes tightly shut as he laid across the bed on his back.
His interest was peaked immediately when you took off his shoes and started undressing him.
“Are we gon' have sex?” he grinned, wiggling his eyebrows at you suggestively as he'd sit up a little so you could take his shirt off.
“Baby, no, it’s late and we drank too much,”
Once his shirt was off, he would cup your face and try to messily kiss your lips as you giggled.
“But I want youuu,”
“You need to sleep so you won’t be exhausted tomorrow,”
“Psshhh, I ain’t never exhausted,”
He'd roll his eyes as he'd let himself fall back again, watching you unbuckle his belt and pull his pants down.
“You’re so hot in that dress and I wanna fuck you,”
He knew that when he would give you those bedroom eyes and bit his lip all sexy, you wouldn't be able to resist him.
Even in his drunk state, he still knew how to get what he wanted.
Because you gave it to him. How could you not when his cheeks were all flushed like that and he looked at you with those hungry eyes?
He didn't last long, but by the time you were finished, you were so tired that you didn't care.
The both of you passed out pretty much immediately after.
You were woken up by voices coming from downstairs and when you recognized one of them to belong to Vernon, you widened your eyes and woke up Elvis by frantically shaking his shoulder.
He was grumbling and cursing immediately, trying to push you away from him.
Holding up one of the baubles that he found in between the sheets, he'd give you a playful grin. “Baby, I know you’re an adventurous little one, but.. seriously?”
When you told him his father was already here, he wanted to vanish into thin air because his head was throbbing.
Despite the hangovers you both had to deal with, it wasn't anything some food and medicine couldn't fix.
Christmas day was fun, but he decided that he wanted more Christmas Eve's like the one the night before.
No stress, no stepmothers annoying him.
Just you, him and your closest friends.
