I'm fine tho, did few new stuff, merely drowning in too muchness and nothingness as usual, this month I guess you could say I took an act of mad fury in search of any happy source because the echoing silence and the swarm of sadness nipping on my brain cells thickened, and the reasoning merged with the obscene. So instead of giving my guardians the usual of 3/4 of my earnings last month for net and groceries, I spent it all. Ya know, as it was told to me it mine to do as I please? As being prevented any chance of work if it was possible, 't was supposed to be spent on art supplies & measly delights craved for years ?

Before hand, I've been begging them to take me for months to get any clothing or whatever, be it the first time I ever see a shop, then just to drive around, then just me peaking to the outside when the front door is open, merely seeking change I suppose. They kept vaguely promising me until they refused point blank— getting tired of my nagging, then their car just stopped working till this day. Its in the workshop rn..

Anyway, befouled by despair, needing the mere basics of life and not granted, I was delighted when i found a site to buy from cheap & pretty, I pressed buy without any further considerations, or taking their permission and thrilled to be able get gifts for my siblings too. I say gifts but really they are deprived necessities too and not even much just one each cuz well, they are 5 of my babies and to start with the top of priorities; we all draw

I could already see it, they can't help themselves; heck seeped through the clenched gates of their mouths, trying desperately to poison me with undirect attempts this time, cuz I bought for my sibs they're out of the option of calling me selfish. I was upping the same trance like state of vague existence dealing with them, absorbing their insults and degrading just to make sure my shi arrives safe.

Unfortunate for me, the site chose the worst carrier in this country

I did everything in my power to make it into their convenience, by embarrassingly messaging the carrier daily, they took a week of promising to deliver and flanking so my guardians reached a heated level of threatening, waving their hands nd almost tossing shi at mE saying that they don't care if they came and if i dared to order something again they'll do this and that. Not allowing me to open the door for the delivery guy when he comes, blaming me for missing vaccination dates (they kept missing them even before)& missing going to important places(again, they just didn't go to for ages), made them loose sleep, etc etc— in turn, I seen red and regretfully blew up.

I screamed at them its literally the only time I ever did this, it BECAUSE it easier on them & I'll do what I want whatever anyway, & to stop interrupting me while I try to explain things , then they suddnly back done and be like I'm not mad at u I'm mad at the delivery ppl, that they are proud of me for being able to do all this, and such sort. I left them to cool in my room, Idk how I did it but must have slam-gripped something so hard it chipped most of my short nails & cracked one, was glad I didn't hurt my drawing hand but yeah, goofy mani

They robbed me of the joy of anticipation & the dissipation of apathy, I started to lose sleep again and my liberating dreams left me and I don't think I remember leaving bed.

But still, If not force myself to do things.. there'll be nothing for me if I don't.. at least I know im able of that

I got my guardians happy tho after another tiresome refusal, by trying out one of those Uber-eat like local apps here, since they have no car and being disabled & ill, I ordered McDonald's for the first time. Slythry behind their backs per habit, told them someone coming and they had that look again, but thankfully the guy came through and didn't steal my money, heh. For a big 1800 calories meal I suppose it was passable, the happy fam faces I got was the real treat..

Oh with that thing with the credit card stating I owe them money, waited weeks & nobody got back to us? They started taking from my guardian's account directly to pay it, saying oh we did send you warnings--- TO THE SHADOWY LINES OF THEIR POSTERIOR A.K.A NOWHERE. Thankfully the account is mostly empty nd just for random transactions, i alerted my guardians not to use it. And again, my god, another round of endless calls and promises started, and we wait again so they just don't act as if we owe them a frking 17k dollars that we don't have.. was panicking cuz I have nothing and but my guardians were weirdly comforting about it and told me not to worry

One thing good bout no net is it made me stop thinking about life in general, and stop the tiny unnoticeable prick of misery when I have no input to share, trying not to helplessly compare people just living, in inflated style or not, in media, to my isolated-most-of-my-life style and missing much of that organic "life experiences and chances", heh. At least, my situation would be favorable to me if it was ever possible for it to let me have peace, or have the simple knowledge I'm not virtually imprisoned and have never familiarised with nothing of this world but the surrounding walls.. its nice to have more time to be consumed by muse and day dreaming that flutters life through my dull being and sing chorus of inspiring means for art to flow and finds its way delicately onto my realised canvas.. but no, I continued drawing whilst sight blurred with salty droplets contradicting that happy tintin dance on tiktok I worked so long on just cuz I couldn't stop, not the tears or the mad scribbles of determined intention to visualise the mourned excitement I need, hating everything I make

Somehow the lilac dream still intrudes, visualising me friends, living, in a quaint home, maybe we roommate, arm in arm we go to make every fracture of fate's encounters a disgusting adventurous thrill, like building a maze of cardboard or chasing each other in the dark.. maybe getting that half bleached head and endless ear pericings ... then it dies and I totally forget it..

But what those awesome headphones helped me do, literally blocks all their voices listening to Sev losing it and I can Waltz around not feeling gutted to go and interfere or play the referee each time. But I can't wear them forever, gives me a bad headache, and honestly; I can't be too neglectful.. my sibs hates me for it already hehe

At least these clothing came true to their measurements, felt the new sensations on how everything I wore hugs me & learnt the baffling ways on how "gender" and region plays different tunes on the same measurements. Getting fitting things felt like suddenly there's hope to be, for myself to be me, and ease this severe disassociation between who I am, and what my body is .. from how little I see myself nd consider it worthy of anything because of how long it been living like a phantom among people.. to numb this dysphoria until it be gone one day

Saddened that the only site I can't order from again if they keep using that awful carrier

I missed our country's 91 national day, too. They made sales everything 91 riyal so.. but knowing the sellers here, I don't think most of em went true with their offers.. Horrible news tho on the celebrations, sigh

Who else? My love for Fusedmarc has become a BorisBubbles.tumblr calling card and come on, there’s no way I wouldn’t drag them this high. Two years later and I still cackle thoughout this song with the exact same vigor as I did two years back. 🤭 Now, I do understand that “Rain of revolution” is one of the worst 10 songs in this decade and... well, yeah, (yeah, yeahyeah NRG yeah yeah yeeeeaaah) that’s the entire point. If we lived in the universe where ESC entries can be compared to motion pictures, in which “Waterloo” is Citizen Kane and “A matter of time” is fucking Titanic, then “Rain of revolution” is The Room, for Viktorija and Denis posses the exact same endearing insanity, inscrutability and genius as Tommy Wiseau.  And honestly, this song should be shown in movie theatres because it turned inteptitude into an artform. Reminder that fusedmarc were the only 2017 act to refuse PBC:UA’s offer for stand-in rehearsals because they were afraid Ukraine would fail at getting their ~vision across~ 😂😍

54. Tom Dice - “Me and my guitar” Belgium 2010

I’ll be honest: As a Belgian, Tom Dice has a lot of emotional value for me. The year was 2010: Belgium hadn’t qualified for a final for six straight contests, sending failure after failure. Neither VRT had, until that point, shown any idea behind what they were doing, consistently picking the wrong songs during the national selections. RTBF meanwhile, didn’t even try, sending novelty acts they knew would never qualify. So, imagine being Belgian and seeing Tom get announced, fedora perched askew on his head, with a tepid guitar ballad and you’re like “oh MORE of the same, well bye 😬", except SURPRISE Tom is naturally charismatic and has a great voice and turns his by all standards generic song into an experience. 

It’s the Todevska principle: Tom OUTSOLD. Is he the best entrant? No. Like many ESC alumni he entered the contest with his least good song. Is he the most exciting entrant? Far from it. 

However isn’t it fair to state that we, Eurovision fans from Europe, have always had at least one dark age in our history with the contest? Periods where our supposed “best” wasn’t good enough? Periods where we struggled being proud of whom we were and where we came from. For someone to come out of nowhere and put you country back on the map after years of adversity, be it an ABBA, or a Bobbysocks! or a Tamara Todevksa, that makes for a magical rebirthing experience. Tom Dice is Belgium’s and I am #Proud of it.

52. Ott Lepland - “Kuula” Estonia 2012

There are two reasons why “Kuula” ranks this high and neither is Estonia bias :o

The first is, obviously, the context. I’ve spoken widely about how terrible Baku2012 sounded as a whole, and how disappointment everything was. Well, “Kuula” was not only acoustically sound, it is actually the ONLY song that I was pleasantly surprised me. I had no opinion whatsoever going into Baku and he roses to my #3 of the year.

Which brings me to the second reason why “Kuula” ranks this highly. It is just... really fucking good, lol?

With powerballads such as these it’s REALLY important to suck the listener/viewer in and the combination of Ott’s great voice, adorable personality, the magical language that is Estonian (which also, conveniently, allows me forget “Kuula” has Deep Meaning and Touching Lyrics 🤗), and a great organic build up captivate me immensely. Even though songs like “Kuula” are far from what I normally love, it never fails to sustain me, proving tho every great rule they’re always a greater exception. 🤗

51. Anouk - “Birds” the Netherlands 2013

~She slayed it from the outside~

Oh my god Anouk was such a rollercoaster. From my end, I was OBSESSED with Anouk from the second she was announced (as the first participant of 2013!!!) because hell yeah I LOVED “Nobody’s wife” and “Girl” and this expected ~High Voltage Rock OWNAGE~

What we got instead was... something just as great, if completely different. “Birds” may not have been an in-your-face rock song, but it never-the-less was a beautiful, mesmerising, unpretentious avant garde ballad. “If being myself is what I do wrong, then I would rather not be right” sticks out as an absolutely brilliant line that I often use in my daily writing. 😍 I LOVE how Anouk performs btw, on the satellite stage, in a sea of f(l)ags:

While also delivering distinctly Dutch diction. 😍 Paraphrasing:

“Burds follin daun de roeftops, aut of de skai laik reendraups, no eir, no praad.” 

Like ^ pronounced that in dutch and you literally have Anouk’s diction nailed. 😍

“Birds” was basically the “Me and my guitar” of the Netherlands, but there’s also the added bonus of  Anouk herself. You see, in contrast to her song’s ethereal demeanor, Anouk is KNOWN to be a huuuuuge abrasive confrontal bitch with zero filter 😍 and fragments of her diva personality definitely oozed into Malmö as well, from nonchalantly recording a gritty webcam vid for official channel’s preview vid (😍) to  flippantly pulling a hood over her face each time a journalist wanted to interview her. It ended, how else, with Anouk writing “Walk along” for Trijntje, and then cussing her out for being frumpy / talentless / sucking at life when she NQ’d. When Trijntje tried pinning them blame Anouk for writing her a bad song on purpose (lmfao), Anouk retaliated by stealing Trijnje’s coach seat on The Voice NL. PETTY QUEEN <3 We truly aren’t worthy of this irl Cersei Lannister. 😍

Also um, I just realized I ranked those two on opposide ends of the Dutch chart:

The 2010s marked wonderful renaissance for the Netherlands. I’m never ~OBSESSED~ with their entries, but they are a very solid Eurovision country, reliably delivering good music. I think they’re also the country that has the lowest amount of godawful entries on average (literally 2. Fuck you, “Without you” and “Amsterdam”.). If anyone deserved to win based on track record alone it was definitely them.

i was in intro to art bc that’s the only art class lowerclassmen can take, so most ppl were just in intro bc they need to get an art credit to graduate. the class had a GIANT divide between the types of people in the class and there were only like. ten kids who actually liked art and took it seriously.

so, to not be looped in with everyone else and wanting to stand out, i sat with the most Talented Artistic Girls in the class. there were three girls: one senior who was a cancer (bitch), one virgo who was actually pretty nice, and the sag girl. we immediately became the Power Table that my teacher would always come to as an example to the class! i felt so powerful and felt like i had friends for the first time in a while.

in my class, my teacher assigned us a medium to work with and a project to complete by a certain deadline. the art girls always finished before everyone else and would tease when i wanted to take my time and make something i was proud of and called me untalented because i wasn’t finishing at the same time as them. it REALLY discouraged me from doing my best and my work quality started to slip slightly as a result

the main perpetrator of the bullying came from the sag girl. she literally thought she was the Standard of the class because my art teacher always praised her for finishing and her art skills. she would send really passive agressive comments my way and erase and “Fix” parts of my art that she thought weren’t good.

the other two girls either said nothing or joined in on the harassment, the cancer girl would always try to convince me to work faster or “harder” because she thought my art sucked and i wasn’t trying hard enough

they verbally abused me enough to where i went home almost everyday and stayed up until two in the morning trying DESPERATELY to improve in my art (you can see in my blog activity from last year where i really dropped off in quality) and stopped posting art here because i was suffering from severe self doubt and HATED my art. 

i was literally so dumb for listening to them, but i couldn’t leave their table unless i wanted to be grouped in with the ppl who just wanted the art credit again. 

so i started to put out ABSOLUTELY AWFUL PIECES where i wasn’t trying at because i wanted to be “Good and Fast” at producing art instead of learning.

while all this was going on, i always talked about astrology to the cancer senior since she was kinda into it. sag girl HATES astrology and thought it was made up and an “Excuse to hate people” WHICH IT’S NOT LOL

so the cancer girl and i got on the topic of sagittarius, and i said something like “yeah all the sags i’ve met have been real jerks to me i don’t like them that much” and SAG GIRL STARED AT ME LIKE I HAD JUST CALLED HER OUT OR SOMETHING WHICH I DIDN’T?? i didn’t even say her name lol

so she gets really quiet for the whole period, which i took note of and stored away in my brain for later. i had /FINALLY/ found something to get back at her with: she’s insecure and just bullies other people to feel superior. 

so. the fateful day comes along. febuary sixth. the cancer girl and sag girl are talking about something. the period had just started. i had one of my headphones in and was listening to their conversation. 

sag girl says something REALLY mean to cancer girl and i immediately take my headphones out. cancer girl looks really hurt so i stay quiet and they finish up their conversation. 

very quietly, i put my headphones back in and turn to the cancer girl. i said something like “y’know, i love cancers. i know i’m a gemini and all, but at least i’m not a sagittarius.” (SO LAME I KNOW BUT I HAD TO THINK OF SMTH FAST) and the CANCER GIRLS EYES WIDEN LIKE SHE ALREADY KNOWS WHAT’S GOING TO GO DOWN

this whole time, i’m looking down at my paper doodling while sag girl is like “laci i thought we said no more astrology.” and the exact convo went like this:

“i know. just stating my opinion.”“laci, you’re literally making me Very mad right now Shut Up” “i hate sags they’re so m  e  a  n”

THEN SHE FUCKING THROWS HER HANDS DOWN ON THE TABLE LIKE SHE’S RESTRAINING HERSELF FROM HITTING ME AND LAUNCHES HER PENCIL ACROSS THE ROOM

THE WHOLE CLASS IS DEAD SILENT AND I DON’T EVEN MAKE EYECONTACT WITH HER.... SHE GETS UP AND LEAVES WITHOUT TAKING ANY OF HER STUFF AND SITS OUTSIDE FOR THE WHOLE PERIOD BECAUSE SHE’S SO PISSED

the cancer girl and virgo are looking at me like i’m a fucking lunatic and i LITERALLY cannot believe what i just did like. i stood up for myself and Someone else for the first time EVER and i felt so WEIRD

my art teacher walks over and is like “you think she’s gonna be okay?” and we’re just like i think so????

the next day rolls by and i go into the class where sag girl is talking to virgo and cancer. when i walked in, she looked at me and immediately grabbed her stuff and walked out the door. I WAS LIKE LOL OKAY WE’RE GONNA PLAY THIS GAME THEN

AND AFTER THAT MOMENT I WAS JUST ANOTHER PERSON LIKE... i can understand if you want to talk about our differences, but just WALKING AWAY FROM YOUR PROBLEMS IS NOT SMTH I CAN GET BEHIND 

i sit down and cancer and virgo are like “when are you going to apologize?” AND I WAS LIKE WAIT WHAT??????? HUH???????? APOLOGIZE FOR WHAT I DEFENDED YOUR ASSES

and they got SUPER pissed at me because sag girl is their Art Queen or whatever and glared at me and LEFT TO SIT OUTSIDE W/ HER!!! i DEFENDED THEM AND THEY LICHERALLY BETRAYED ME LIKE OKAY LOL?????

so i sit there Alone for the whole period and everyone’s staring at me like i’m a jackass but i KNOW i’m not!!

the next day, my scorpio friend comes to the art room to help me out with a project and sag girl happens to be outside and my friend overhears her making up lies about me “”””HARRASSING”””” HER??? AND MY ANGEL SCORPIO FRIEND IS LIKE “HEY DO YOU GUYS KNOW WHERE LACI IS” and sag girl SHUTS UP IMMEDIATELY BC SHE KNOWS SHE’S BEEN CAUGHT 

SO MY SCORPIO FRIEND TELLS ME WHAT HAPPENED AND I’M LIKE OHHOHOOHO BITCH NOW I HAVE A WITNESS SHE’S DEAD!! and eventually my friend goes back to class and when she does, some kid comes in and is like “sag girl is crying outside”

AND I FELT BAD FOR A SECOND BUT THEN IT ALL CLICKED: SHE’S JUST CRYING BC SHE KNOWS SHE’S BEEN CAUGHT. SHE KNOWS I HAVE EVIDENCE AGAINST HER AND SHE’S PUTTING ON THE WATERWORKS

SO MY ART TEACHER TAKES ME OUTSIDE TO GO AND TALK IT OUT AND SAG GIRL IS SITTING ACROSS FROM ME LITERALLY MURDERING ME WITH HER EYES SHE’S SO PISSED

my art teacher was like “okay guys. let’s talk about this. sag girl, what do you have to say to laci?” and sag girl starts saying how i Hate her for “””no reason””” and starts cussing at me and bursts into tears again 

AND KEEP IN MIND I HAVEN’T SAID A THING YET I’VE JUST SAT THERE AND LISTENED TO HER TALK FOR TEN SECONDS

SO MY ART TEACHER IS LIKE “fuck okay uhhh go to the counselor since you can’t be mature” AND I SWEAR I ALMOST MARRIED MY ART TEACHER SHE’S SUCH AN ANGEL

my art teacher escorted sag to the counselor and took me aside and was like “you don’t have to go with her, i believe in you fully and you’re not in trouble”  AND I SWEARRR I HAVE NEVER FELT SO POWERFUL

from that day on, i vowed to always do my best on every single project i get in her class and not compare myself. my work drastically improved and my art was getting better! 

now, i wasn’t done with sag girl. the official word the counselor had given to her was a “hands-off” policy, which means she can’t interact with me and i can’t interact with her for the rest of the year.

so. because i hadn’t fully enacted my revenge yet, i decided to go for the psychological tactic and indirectly get back at her

i overheard her badmouthing her counselor bc she wouldn’t let her into the advanced math class bc she didn’t meet the requirements. she was saying some REALLY NASTY STUFF ABOUT MURDERING HER AND STUFF...... so i recorded it secretly (i still have the vid on sc) and sent it to her counselor lol 

she got placed in the standard math class and her counselor isn’t a fan of her anymore now!

i feel like she KNOWS i got her placed in a lower math class bc she looks so scared and mad everytime we make eyecontact so!

all of alice and elliot’s friends know of the dads and love eddie and richie

whenever alice or elliot has sleepovers at the house eddie always makes sure the house is stocked and is nice to the kids

richie just tells inappropriate jokes and stories to make the teens laugh until eddie just drags him away

i picture elliot gets picked on sometimes bc he’s into super nerdy stuff and literally the whole fam got his back. alice and richie cusses out his bullies (even tho richie wants to kick their asses) and eddie writes strong letters to the school/district to make them do smth abt it (even tho he also wants to cuss out bullies)

Commentary Crew Preference - Sleepover + the day after

A/N: bad lol. I was gone for like a week because some shit happened, apologies. Last night (week) took an L but tonight I bounce back.

Pyrocynical

Watching dumb videos on youtube up until like 3am. Probably started from like actual content then just turned into watching damn daniel vine compilations, until you both cried from laughter.

Coffee. Just lots of coffee. More coffee. 

Then, when you’d actually find your way into the bed, he’d make sure that there’s at least 10 pillows and 3 blankets

Then like an hour of just laughing and giggling and switching positions??

Cuddling, no exceptions. 

THE SLEEPY VOICE

Almost on the edge of falling asleep, then hearing him just say shit like “my name jeff,” and you’d both just die.

Waking up in a huge mess of pillows, blankets, everything.

Spending the morning just laying in the bed, being quiet and enjoying the moment. He’d probably play with your hair.

The day would consist of you two just being home, doing nothing. Playing games (G a r f i e l d  K a r t)

It ending in lots of goodbye kisses on the forehead.

He’d have probably it all planned out. What to do at what hour etc. You went with the plan for like the first two hours and then just forgot it.

Baking!!! You love baking and you were not too bad in it either. Lots of brownies.

Helping him film videos and skits to them. Also discussing the video or it’s topic in general.

Talking about stuff. Could be serious like politics, recent news or then just a funny you tube video of a cat playing a piano 10 hour remix.

Watching a horror film all cuddled up on the couch.

Going to bed not too late.

Spooning. Him being the little spoon because of his small form.

You’d wake up at like 8am, few hours earlier than him. You’d also make breakfast for him.

Spending the day just doing random stuff, going outside for lunch.

A nice goodbye hug. A kiss on the cheek too.

Watching him play CSGO just raging and screaming. Ablo Orman-style.

95% of the time would be just you petting and playing with his cat.

He’d probably insist that you have to make a q&a video with him. 

When he would ask people on twitter to send questions, he’d get a bunch of replies with just “QnA with sister?” etc, and it would piss him off so much. You found it adorable.

You two recorded the video which was actually hilarious, but putting it on hold, not sure should he post it.

Touring around the big Soviet Union. He’d take you to KFC for the pengest munch. “Niggas gotta eat.”

When you got back it was really chilly so you decided to borrow, or atleast try one of his hoodies. You practically drowned in it.

Falling asleep quite fastly. A good and a cozy sleep.

Waking up at like 2pm. 

He’d make food, or atleast try. That’s what it looked like.

Plot twist; the food would actually taste really good.

A warm hug for the goodbyes. Tall boy.

Chubbs

Watching him record videos. You had to go to another room because you laughed a lot and you didn’t want to ruin the recording.

Starting beef with feminazis and cunts on twitter. He would either annihilate them or then just reply “haha yes.”

He would be surprised how good you were at beefing with people. You weren’t taking no shit and it only made him more attracted to you.

Despite his rather edgy and wild online persona, he’d be absolutely different in real life. Being very caring and loving. Appreciating every moment with you. Not saying he wouldn’t throw some funny and snarky comments at times.

Sleep over with out the sleeping.

Going to McDonald’s at 3am to get a big pack of nuggets and lots of cheeseburgers.

Then just doing random shit for couple of hours, still not tired.

Going for a deep™ walk outside and getting real deep. Talk about his issues and reassuring him that he is just perfect the way he is.

Watching films and shows on netflix and commentating over them. It would be actually hilarious. 

AMY SCHUMER BAD

Falling asleep on the couch, netflix playing in the background. Probably at like 6.30am

You’d fall asleep all cuddled up.  He’d find you absolutely adorable and just smile.

Waking up practically in the same position. Wanting to stay like that forever, but he’d have to take a piss. lol.

BIGGEST HUG + kiss on the forehead. Big boy.

Despite his actually offensive and edgy personality online behaviour, he’d be actually the most caring and affectionate person. Lots of hugs and kisses.

Cooking food together

Commentating over FUCKH8 or BuzzFeed vids. Letting his more offensive side out. He’d probably record few vids on the go as well.

Playing GTA V for his gaming channel. Ad revenue important bro.

Going out quite late for a few beers. He’d get absolutely wasted over two pints. It would be actually hilarious to watch though.

Having fun for the most of the time. Listening to music, dancing, him trying to sing which you recorded for the blackmail material.

Him listening to your stories and things 100% enjoying it. Appreciating every thing you did in general.

Calling Niall, Billy and everyone else at 4am just to tell that they’re gay.

Cuddling that he would suggest, surprising you.

Waking up at about 10am, you’d have coffee and he would have his beloved orange juice. And that legendary sandwich. (inb4 “How to make a sandwich” -video)

Going to Tesco, to get some ice cream. (And more orange juice.)

When you would leave, he’d hug you but then after that kiss you. Smooth.

feel korea fanacc 2017 (exid biased)

this is going to be a very detailed fanacc of the full day, including the bad events which took place before the concert

first off let me say that kpop fans are honestly such lovely people. i came across a few bad eggs during the day but overall everyone was amazing. i arrived earlier than my friend and i made friends so quickly with the people who were in front of me in the queue, and i ended up spending the whole concert with them

secondly let me say that the organisation of this concert was an absolute joke, specifically the queueing. it was terrible, the worst organisation i’ve seen in a long time. they originally had one queue for everything, then created a ‘concert’ queue and made people move, then when the daytime event queue had died down we got moved back to where we originally were - except there was no guidance. everyone just ran for it. people at the front ended up at the back and people who’d just arrived got to the front. there was also a severe problem of people pushing in at the front - there was no barrier to block it and when we complained the security didn’t even try to do anything about it. 

i got to the venue at around 12:15, joined the only queue there was, was then moved to the ‘concert’ queue at around 12:45, was very near the front and managed to stay in basically the same place when we got moved back to our original line. then waited for about 6 hours, filled with events such as, as ive mentioned, people pushing in at the front and pretending they were there the whole time, the barrier being widened to such a degree at the front that there was no order at all

then came the worse part. we were lining up around the back of the building, and they wanted to move us to the front doors. so they stood back, and told us to go. everyone ran, again. i got pushed into walls and an open door, girls were falling over or hurting themselves on the barriers as everyone tried to get through. we had been asking them throughout the day how they were planning to get us in - we suggested sending us in groups of 10 or 20, or just making sure we all got to the doors one at a time. instead there was hundreds of people running to the doors, filling up the street because there was no barrier there to meet us. again, i managed to keep my place, pretty much, but a lot of people lost theirs, including girls at the front who had been there since 6am to queue. then despite the street being full of fans, they then told us to get in single file. which was fucking stupid because it wasnt possible. not unless they moved everyone forward enough, past the doors, to make enough room to move everyone against the wall, or move people backwards from the back of the queue, which literally went around the whole block. we eventually got in by them just giving up and letting us in one at a time with as little pushing as possible

but anyway, thats enough of that, although i will be complaining officially online lmao

okay the actual concert. by some miracle, i just got to the barrier, i got the last space. but myself and a couple of girls to my left were in the worst place to be at the barrier - in front of us was a camera man officially recording for the tv screen above, so during the concert idols would often be blocked by the camera which will be shown in my exid fancams lmao. but hey, i was at the barrier, i can’t complain. the distance from the barrier to the stage was about 10 feet i think, it was pretty large tbh so im rly glad i got to be there. we also got given water by very nice security thank u security

they were showing mvs for about an hour while we waited. if you were there, the first scream @ jeonghwa’s appearance in any mv was always me jsyk dklfjhdskj

when the concert started, there was a taekwondo performance which was a m a z i n g, they were breaking wood with their feet and at one point i was scared the broken wood would hit me lmao

after that, hani came on mc’ing, along with two other guys who i don’t know. the moment she appeared i Died. she was wearing such a pretty white dress, shes so angelic and cute and beautiful. she came out to mc after every performance, except it was just the guys when exid was about to perform. she spoke about going to see the disadvantaged kids yesterday and one of the guys was like “hanis not just beautiful, she has a beautiful heart” and hani said “the most beautiful is everyone here!” jdksa shes honestly a Dream

knk was first to perform, then snuper, then exid, then highlight. i’m not gonna pretend i was really there to see anyone but exid, because i wasn’t. but i did hearts to all the idols and i really enjoyed all their performances. knk sang knock first which is the only song i like by them so to hear it was so great. they’re such good dancers and they’re all very pretty

after knk, hani and the guys introduced a “special performance because london has gone through some hardships recently”. it was hyerin singing “you raise me up” and it was so beautiful i would have cried if i weren’t so focused on filming haha

then it was snuper’s turn to perform. i only know platonic love, so i enjoyed that, but i was pretty clueless about the rest of the songs. i still liked it tho. during one of their songs they brought a fan on stage to sing to her and also threw roses to the crowd. according to my friend who was a bit further back one of the members aimed one at her but a girl in front of her caught it lol. one of the members was so funny idk his name but fans threw a signed uk flag at the stage and he put it on like a cape and he came over to our section loads. hes my bias now but who is he

after that (i think??), knk came back on to perform a cover of an ed sheeran song which i don’t know the name of. everyone sang with them and it was rly Nice

then my girls!!! arrived and i screamed So Loud it was too much. they’re all so beautiful, but u kno i love my girl jeonghwa and omg... pictures and videos dont do her justice at all shes honestly Ethereal i went into shock and i almost teared up. i saw a girl so beautiful i started crying???

they started with hot pink and i could kinda feel how empty it was without solji but it was still amazing to see the four of them. then they moved onto night rather than day, then ah yeah, then finally up and down. i was trying So Hard to get interaction, i made eye contact with jeonghwa a few times and every time i was givin her hearts... she just kinda glanced over me tho.... its ok i still love u

the girl next to me got So much interaction, from l.e especially. she had a homemade exid fan sign and l.e seemed to love it haha. i probably should have made something too

exid’s performance seemed to go so quickly, i filmed most of their songs and some of their talk. i haven’t even watched the videos yet i’m gonna die

after exid, there was a performance with snuper and a group of girl dancers who i think won a competition during the day? they did dance covers of a few bts songs

then highlight came on and performed two of their new songs, before two of their old ones. i rly enjoyed the old ones, the new ones... they were okay but i liked being reminded of their old image as beast. i think this was when one of them motioned for us to clap, i was one of the first to start so he looked at me was he was walking our way and nodded at me which was cool lol. i think it was highlight anyway.... and i think it was that time... honestly the boy groups... kinda mushed together for me i could even begin to tell you which member it was. i made eye contact with a few guys of the various groups so i cant rly remember specifically

during highlights performance this annoying girl came up behind me and was literally pushing against me, trying to move my hair, touching my arms and back before eventually asking if i could move over. i did, but i later found out that the girl had literally somehow managed to get to the barrier from the back. she was rude as hell. also there was fireworks during the performance which scared the crap out of me i was like that compilation vid of chanyeol

after highlight, there was an encore where all the groups came out and threw balls and balloons. knk was in front of our section and exid were next to them more towards the middle. i feel bad for saying it but i ... rly wanted exid in front of me lmao. i did hearts towards them and here is where i might have got interaction from hani but im not sure???? she looked in my direction as i was looking at her and making a heart with my hands and she grinned and did a thumbs up but im not sure it was at me it might have been someone near me. i like to think it was at me tho. people around me got a lot of interaction with different idols but i didnt?? thats going back to diy stuff tho, ppl around me had created signs and written messages on paper and stuff so i guess thats where that came from. i rly would have done something too for exid but i didnt think id be that close, never mind at the barrier so i didn’t see much point

there was also confetti flying from a machine right in front of me and i accidentally dropped my exid fan sign i was given in the queue over the barrier so i caught confetti in my bag to take home instead lol. the annoying girl was still there and still annoying, she threw something at knk she’d made and one of the members got it and she started screaming and crying and yelling i love u which i wouldnt mind but... after the way she was so rude to me (and as i found out later, other ppl) nah why does she deserve that lmao. she also ended up getting a ball since security came over with two that had dropped and she said the yellow was hers... it wasnt she even asked me who signed it lmao

overall it was a really good concert and i cant wait to watch the videos back. it had ups and downs but despite having to miss london pride for it i dont regret going. i got to meet some great people and ofc i got to see my Special Girls in the flesh... they said they’d come back soon i hope so. ive drunk so much water tonight and im about to go and drink more also i can’t walk
