This pinned post is an introduction to my blog and the Masterlist for my multi-chapter fanfic based on the characters from Obey Me! called "Love, Eternal," as well as containing Masterlists for my other content.

About sassykattery...

Call me Sassy! I'm 26, married, and use she/they pronouns. I am currently studying and working full-time to get into a professional school later in 2024.

I am simply one hell of a writer.

Blog Rules

I do not accept interactions from minors or ageless/blank blogs. I will immediately block those who follow me or interact with my content that I catch in my notifications. This is because I regularly consume NSFW content and repost it, on top of creating NSFW content myself. It's not hard to put in your bio that you're at least 18, that's literally all I need to see.

This is an LGBTQ+ friendly and gender-affirming blog. Homophobia, transphobia, and pedophilia aren't tolerated here, nor are any other hate-groups or illegal activities that exist in this world.

I'm a sex-positive and body-positive person, so I am open about sharing personal stories as well as promoting normalization of sex and the human body (i.e. menstruation, being fat/plus-size), you will see this influences my writing as well. This point is only directed at people who think sex or human body functions shouldn't be discussed on any platform (this is literally an NSFW blog, why are you here?), this is not pointed at the people who experience triggers or dysphoria around those topics.

To touch on the last bullet, this is a warning to those who experience dysphoria or have triggers related to certain topics, I regularly discuss certain topics such as: sex, menstruation, body image issues, mental health issues, medical issues. My content will always have tags and "CW," or Content Warnings," at the beginning of each body of work that I write except for "incorrect quotes"/crack one-shots.

The only fandom I write for is Obey Me!, and I don't really intend on branching out anytime soon, but I do consume content from Genshin and Twisted Wonderland.

Synopsis: After returning for the second year in the Devildom, one human, MC, finds herself in the throes of the affairs of the heart, intertwined with two powerful demons who seek to have her to themselves. One demon seeks to redeem himself after ruining his first relationship in centuries. The other seeks to maintain balance between his duties, his love, and his own vested interests. Read as the three navigate one another's struggles and needs.

New Schedule: New parts will be posted on Saturdays and Wednesdays, North America time, that's Sundays and Thursdays for those in UTC and further east. I will be returning to university soon and need time to make sure I'm happy with my writing before publishing.

Rules for the fanfic before proceeding -

I will be posting this fanfic on Wattpad as well as here on Tumblr, because I understand some people like the reading experience better on other platforms. As of now, I will not be posting on AO3 purely because I hate how the website looks (don't ask). I will include links for the Wattpad posts in the corresponding chapter sub-Masterlists. That all said, do not repost onto other sites. This is my work, and I will not tolerate others reposting it. Should I find another website to post it on, I will update this post with that information as well.

This fanfic is for those ages 18 and up. Once I begin posting, I will be checking notifications and those who are caught ageless or underage in their bios, will be blocked. Those who interact with this masterlist and do not have an age listed or they're a minor will be blocked.

I will not tolerate criticism for the storyline I have chosen. Please respect what I have chosen for the plot (no backseat writing).

I will not tolerate people creating spin-offs of my fanfic, so please don't do it. You obviously can think of whatever you want, but I kindly ask that you do not make posts based off of my AU.

This fanfic will include scenes of smut, blood, and violence. There are some things I will not write about, however, this is meant to be a romance fanfic, so if you are uncomfortable with graphic sex being written about from a romantic standpoint, please consider this your warning. There will also be scenes including emotional and physical distress, as well as emotional manipulation/emotional abuse within the confines of a relationship. If that is triggering, please do not read.

To follow up with rule #5, each part will contain content warnings, themes, and characters at the beginning of the chapter so that if you aren't interested in those concepts, you are forewarned.

This fanfic is written in the point of view of a main character who is named MC in the fic, who is AFAB, has AFAB body parts, and uses she/her pronouns. Now, within the fic, the perspective is from the main character and pronouns are typically written with "you." It is when MC is referenced by other characters that she/her is used.

sorry for talking about cain and abel symbolism again with himuro and kagami ahaha!!! (i need to go back and tag some of my writing LOLLL) also haha pokemon black and white :)

ill preface with my personal opinions first. i am very ambivalent about the conclusion to himuro and kagami's relationship. i feel so very bittersweet about it and the kind of tragedy that is never satisfyingly concluded. there's no final curtain call or triumphant resurrection, just moving on at last. if kuroko's personal tragedy is aomine, kagami's is indubitably himuro. it's tragic is really what it is. it's a relationship of lost time and lost words and things left unsaid and no more room for either person in their life. it's a reunion which is also the end of things but maybe not. that's just how it is, that it isn't so simple and i don't think there is a neat way to conclude a relationship of muddled feelings and things left unsaid. i don't know if i want a nice neat ending either

anyways its no secret that kagami is associated with change. he's different from other kids, he always has been. he is the one to open the door, he is the one to overcome aomine, he's the one who prompts the change in their relationship. meanwhile himuro is associated with the unchanging. like a permafrost, his eternally cool poker face belies nothing of the intensity beneath. he speaks cooly as if things are simply the way things are. the rules of life are that if you've got appeal, you'll make friends. the truth to life is to be as cool as ice, as hot as fire. and that as an older brother, he ought to be the very picture of reliability. the stronger one, the reliable one. and things are never gonna change right?

but its impossible not to. (see entire yosen match for details)

and i think thats the crux of the relationship really. that it's always doomed to fray, the very tension of change and unchanging truths is represented in this painful relationship. there is pain in tension but there is no way to cleanly separate them because life is both of change and certain undeniable truths. the same way nothing can take away that himuro was the first person who kagami found through basketball, was the one to get him down this life changing path, nothing can change that kagami was always going to change.

the tragedy is really that everything was set in stone from the beginning. ironically despite both of them fighting so hard to prove that nothing is set in stone, that life changes and is born anew, kagami and himuro are faced with the reality that people drift and relationships fray and that you can never return to your past. it's a very nostalgic relationship filled with the same kind of melancholy of nostalgia. of course there's also the tragedy that they both desire to return things to the proper order but MISCOMMUNICATION! ITS LIKE JDRHGNGRNKR i feel like unknowingly right kagami is the one who feels left behind but whatever! WHATEVER!

of course in many ways i exaggerate because i am and quote fucking a lunatic. but i dont really find this interpretation to be incorrect either and dont intend to back down lol. i just think more people should talk about it also not in a shippy way just in a crazed way

anyways FINALLY on to the cain abel symbolism. i want to bring your attention to this. to himuro brotherhood is unchanging, the roles of a brother old and young are set in stone. and i think though not exclusively a biblical image, it parallels strongly to the biblical ideal of brotherhood. the younger obeys the elder; the elder is his keeper. in return for upholding this contract the younger brother is rewarded. this idea is reflected in how kagami's deviation from this role is met with punishment from himuro. failure to respect one's elder is met with corporal punishment, an idea exposed within the bible which reinforces himuro's position as kagami's keeper. the wild rebellious kagami must be reined in by the cool and mature himuro but fortune favours the bold. i previously touched on this i think but like i think the punch, the final unfinished match of their childhood can be likened to the curse of cain in a way. like cain, himuro commits a violation on his brother and for that is cursed to never stop wandering, left with a eternal burning desire to usurp him and correct the transgression of their relationship. he is frozen by this transgression , desiring to end something which cannot be ended. brotherhood is himuro's burden the same way it is cain's.

tbh i think this is entirely unintentional as religious undertones are entirely absent in most of knb and in the end i dont even really know what im saying but i guess, try looking at himuro and kagami's relationship differently in the end tehehe. :) hehehehehe

Entry 98: Ad Hoc World Building

I would like to make a retraction. Last time, I said Corrin and Azura could just return to Valla using the lake warps. This is incorrect. In the Conquest chapter The Black Pillar, it is mentioned that only Corrin and Azura can use this warp. For some reason. That is never explained. Presumably because they’re from Valla, but why that matters I do not know.

This leads me to a big problem I have with this game. Its plot and word building are ad hoc, made up on the spot to smooth over plotholes. The game needs Corrin to return to Valla via the canyon later, so it has some random line about the lakes not working. It can’t have Azura explain the plot, so there’s some dumb curse that prevents her from saying anything. The game needs Corrin, and only Corrin, to know about Garon, so there’s a random crystal ball that breaks immediately.

It’s bad writing.

Revelation Chapter 9: Wanderer

The chapter begins with Garon monologuing about how Corrin knows about the game’s plot now. Fortunately, his evil plans will kill Corrin soon enough mwahaha. Lissa overhears this and decides to tell Xander. Camilla stops Elise and encourages her to hang back and watch how things unfold, even though she admits that Garon isn’t acting right.

Corrin’s team climbs up the Eternal Stairway and runs into some Faceless. Who happen to actually be Wind Tribe soldiers, because this plotline was recycled from Birthright. Kaze kills them, Iago laughs, yada yada yada. When Corrin arrives at the Wind Tribe, the game says that Kaze only beat them up. With a knife. Something tells me they aren’t getting up anytime soon. Fuga shows up and says he heard Corrin wants to destroy both Nohr and Hoshido. Fuga doesn’t believe Corrin’s claim that the real bad guy is an evil dude no one knows about that she can’t tell anyone about, because Fuga isn’t a fucking moron.

Rinkah shows up randomly and joins Corrin because of her life debt. Fuga decides to give Corrin a test to see if they’re trustworthy. Now, the opening cutscene of this chapter uses the map from Birthright Chapter 9, and the plot is largely recycled from that chapter, so naturally the fight is a recreation of Conquest Chapter 20. Welcome back to Fuga’s Wild Ride, fuckers!

After the battle, talks about Sumeragi and Yato and how it can kill gods and gives us Hayato and sends us to go to Izumo blah blah blah we’ve seen this before.

Support: Keaton/Nyx

C: Keaton tells Nyx to eat meat so she grows up big and strong.

B: Keaton brings her pork. Nyx explains that she is cursed and will not grow up. Keaton is confused by where all the food goes. Does he not understand excrement?

A: Nyx explains her entire backstory. Keaton finally gets it. He tells her she can act like a kid and not get in trouble, something she has no desire to do.

S: Keaton asks what Nyx wants more than anything. Nyx says an adult's body and a normal life. Keaton proposes.

Review: Keaton is painfully dumb in this one.

Support: Kaze/Xander

C: Xander and Kaze discuss their first meeting. Xander reveals he was hesitant to kill Kaze because executing such a graceful man would have been dishonorable.

B: Xander challenged Kaze to a duel. During their duel, Xander notices that Kaze's expression has changed since their original fight. Kaze explains he is now fighting for companions, instead of his country, which is easier. Apparently, he wasn't fighting for companions in Hoshido.

A: Kaze and Xander's duel ends in a draw. Xander admits that, unlike Kaze, he has doubt in his actions. Kaze helps Xander push forward on the path he believes in (the path that leads to Kaze's friends, brother, and country dying at Xander's hand). The two warriors say it has been an honor to fight together.

Review: Not bad, but I was left wanting more.

Support: Peri/Silas

C: Silas informs Peri that she has a bad reputation. Peri gets upset.

B: Peri says, and I quote, "I'm so mad, I could slice up a puppy!" Silas says he talked to Xander about Peri and decides to not antagonize Peri because Xander likes her. To himself, Silas decides to tell Xander to reign Peri in.

A: Silas offers himself as a victim for Peri. When Peri attacks, he blocks every blow. Silas realizes why Xander keeps Peri around, because she's strong and also because Xander is a piece of shit. Silas makes Peri agree to work her agression out on him, rather than the servants.

S: Silas proposes but tells Peri not to kill his family's servants.

Review: I really, really don't like Peri. She's a black hole of bad writing that makes every character who doesn't chop her head off complicit.

Support: Jakob/Selena

C: Jakob criticizes Selena for shopping and points out she's bought too much to carry back. Jakob refuses to help carry and Selena chases after him.

B: Jakob reveals he tricked her into being angry because spite is the most efficient fuel in all the world. Selena sees through this and figures out he ditched her because he's a jerk.

A: Jakob asks what drives Selena. She says there's no point in being anything but the best. Selena compliments Jakob's knitting.

S: Jakob says that Selena is the best at being loved by him. Selena demands she be the only one he loves.

Review: Jakob and Selena have a good dynamic, but this one's plot is a bit lacking.
