sometimes ppl are like “yeah i get all my media recommendations from tumblr :)” and i sit here like ok you really Should Not.

#idk i appreciate getting media recs from like online friends and seeing the gifs of the movies my mutuals are watching that's all fun!! #but ppl who ONLY get media recs from this godforsaken site. #why. #especially considering the content of the popular media rec posts on here... im not saying it's necessarily 'bad' im just saying that #there's a reason so many of you are only reading sadwhiteboy queerbait books with unsatisfying endings. its because those are the sort of #things this website seems to enjoy and circulate and there are so many other and BETTER ways to discover media #especially fi you currently find yourself unsatisfied with the media recs you're getting on tumblr #cricket.chatterbox #tumblr
