Hi friends—you know that we’re getting close to the end of the anime (which is gonna be like 😱💔💖👏, right?!), and that means it’s time for us to look back at everything that happened, and time for us to answer your questions! 

We’ll be recording a finale after the last anime episode. Please send any questions you have for us by 12:00pm ET July 8th, and we will answer!

Geed!Ling, Fu, Buccaneer, and the Briggs troops manage to fend off Bradley, but not without losses. 

Bradley survives, but uses the last of his strength to help the gold-toothed doctor with Roy, ultimately forcing Roy’s decision to attempt human transmutation. 

In the depths of the tunnels under central, the homunculus Father finishes collecting the sacrifices needed for his plan.

Roy stalks Envy, torturing them with his flame alchemy. Riza, Ed, and Scar catch up and help him come to his senses.

Armed with the philosopher’s stone, Al takes on Kimblee and Pride. Marcoh and the healed Heinkle join the fight, as well as Yoki, who helps them make an escape.

Olivier and Alex Armstrong continue to fight the sparkly fight against the doll army, with Olivier convincing the soldiers sent in to kill her to join fight against the monsters.

Ed, Scar, and the other chimera friends face off against the doll soldiers. Roy and Riza join them in battle, and Envy finally admits to killing Hughes.

Roy’s team of supporters is swiftly and systematically dismantled, and we learn the truth about the creation of Wrath. 

Al and Gluttony, followed by May and Scar, make their way into the depths of the Father’s secret hideout under Central.

Ed nearly gives up during a fight against Envy, but just before it’s too late he gets the inspiration to save himself, Ling, and Envy from Gluttony’s void. In the process his suspicions about Al’s body are confirmed.

Hohenheim arrives in Liore, looking for something. Under the old church of Leto, Rose and the restaurant owner lead him to a tunnel, where he confronts Pride. 

At Briggs, Kimblee has led the Drachman army to a confrontation, promising that with Olivier gone, the control of the fort will devolve into chaos. It doesn’t go how Kimblee and the Amestrian army have led them to believe.

The Scar gang lure Envy to Asbec with the promise of finding Dr. Marcoh. Working together, they’re able to weaken Envy to near death. Scar convinces May to head home to Xing, but the kind townspeople in Youswell and a little prodding from Envy convince her that it’s not time to leave Amestris yet.

In Central, the Armstrong siblings reunite… which goes exactly as you might expect. Olivier learns even more about the army and the homunculi’s scheme to create an immortal army. The Führer reveals a bit about his family to Riza. 

Al, Winry, the chimera soldiers, and Yoki (yay) arrive head to Liore, and run into some familiar faces…

Ed faces off with Pride, questioning his continued loyalty to Father. 

Wrath and Scar face off. Lan Fan joins to avenge her grandfather, but isn’t able to deal the final blow. 

Father puts up a fight in his perfect form, but massive counter attacks led by Hohenheim and Scar weaken him significantly and strengthen the alchemists in the fight.

Hohenhiem stops bandits with his body, but not in the way you’d expect. 

Ling and Lan Fan continue to face off against Wrath and Gluttony. Lan Fan makes a great sacrifice to enable their escape.

Winry hears about the fight going on between Ed, Al, and Scar, and stumbles in to Ed asking Scar a question she may not want to hear the answer to. She tries to attack him, but in the end it’s not in nature to be a killer. 

Ling and Ed may have accomplished what they planned to, but the fight’s not over yet…

Hohenheim begins to face off with Father, who hasn’t stopped changing since he left the flask. Hohenheim reveals more about his knowledge of the power of the philosopher’s stone within him. 

Wrath makes a stunning comeback entrance, and the rebelling soldiers attempt to stop him.

Roy’s troop starts their non-deadly rampage across the city, with many old friends returning and helping them along the way. Olivier starts a takeover of HQ, and a really General Bad Decisions starts up the soul army.

Ed uses his… um… military clout? To get the gang into the tunnels under Amestris via the lab, and the gang splits up. Hohenheim splits off with Lan Fan, then encourages her to find Greed!Ling before heading to meet Father alone.

Kimblee frees Pride from Hohenheim’s trap, leaving the wounded Heinkle and Al vulnerable, but Heinkle has something that may give them the upper hand.

Izumi kicks some goon ass to try to rescue Al from his kidnappers, but leaves at his request to bring back Ed. Greed wants to make a deal—information for information.

Ed runs into his favorite people while trying to take his annual state alchemist exam at the South HQ. The Führer & Armstrong follow him back to Dublith to try to convince his teacher to join the military.

Once back in Dublith, Izumi gives Ed the deets about Al (perhaps a little too close to the Führer’s earshot), and Ed goes to confront Al’s captors.
