Diamond appears to have gone to friends and colleagues #he'd worked with before; Flynn and Lye had been on A Challenge for Robin Hood with him‚ Frazer Hines well known to him from his jobbing #work as fight arranger for DW. this is charming stuff and was meant to interest investors for a potential adventure serial in the itc style #but alas nobody took up the offer.. Lochinvar was never shown on tv and sat in a rusty film can in Diamond's possession until his family #donated them to Kaleidoscope a few years ago. those brave folks put it out on a (presumably very limited) dvd which i picked up a while ago #it looks pretty good considering the 50 years it spent in the wilderness; not sure why the picture appears to be stretched tho‚ as it was #definitely produced with tv in mind and so would presumably have been shot in 4:3. who knows; certainly not me‚ as besides the text on the #dvd sleeve there is p much zero info out there about this long forgotten production (it isnt even on imdb as far as i can tell) #the following year Flynn would be starring in Ivanhoe‚ another Scott tale‚ for the bbc and this could easily be mistaken for a dry run for #that series. a curio and worth watching if you can find a copy anywhere (no idea if it's still in print and Kal dvds disappear fast)

D&D mechanics aren't quite balanced right for these two? Clemcy in particular. They're old and have a heck of a lot more versatility in spellcasting than D&D leans towards, but don't quite reach the ridiculous reality-bending heights of power that level 20 spellcasters manage, either. No wish spells here, for example. xD

But! I fussed around and managed something vaguely close with some multiclassing + homebrew + copious use of feats, hah.

These little mushroom guys have been happily living in my brain for a bit so when I learned a new way to paint/render stuffs I had to test it out on them! They were incredibly fun to draw! I love their designs so much!! Like Raph still having his little snaggletooth? Genius! Mikey's freckles? Adorable! Also, you can't really see it in this painting but Raph has these small red diamonds down his arm and I love them! Thank you so much for making these adorable little guys!

The epics:

Dayvhe’s Broken Diamond Club and everything by @unda-dsk: DBDC is my personal fave of theirs, and the best treatment of troll culture in any fic ever. If you know HS fic you are probably aware of MC Escher That’s My Favorite MC, and that one is absolutely excellent and completely deserves its status as one of the very best. And then there’s Alternate Universe, which is a perfect and beautiful magic school story. All of these are absolutely top-tier - I cannot stress this enough. They are epic and very long but some of the best stuff I’ve ever read—fanfic or otherwise—and they changed me when I read them. Despite the length, DBDC is very episodic so you can read each chapter as its own story and easily take breaks in between them without losing the flow, so you might want to start there. I promise it’s worth it!!

so we don’t kill the ones we love by @callmearcturus: I’ve never read anyone who can create an atmosphere like Arc can - this one is kind of a John Wick AU but in a really refreshing and elevated way. The characterization is so on point. Lots more I could rave about but I’ll just add that Arc’s Karkats are the hottest and most based out there. Again all his stuff is really good - this one is my favorite, but don’t miss this really cool magic artisan AU also.

It’s About Time by @laurasauras - this is a sweet cute lovely little time travel davekat that I actually sent to a friend to read who knew nothing about HS and successfully led them into the fandom. (Followed by AU by Unda). Laurasauras is prolific and there are so many great fics written by them I can’t list them all here but they are one of my absolute favorite authors. Their understanding of the strider psyche is absolutely impeccable

The Worst Goddamn Movies Ever Fucking Made by writerbot - this fic brought me so much hilarity and joy I can’t even tell you. The Karkat voice is perfect and delightful and the social media interludes are so fucking funny and impressive. One of the first fics to show me how creative and funny this fandom can be.

I’m surely going to add to this - there are so many more meteorstucks and other authors I know I’ll think of after I post this - but I don’t want to spend too much longer on this now when you could be reading some of this great stuff! ENJOY!!

reea's awesome guide to: the perfect break in 2 rating

if you havent heard of break in 2 yet then youve been living under a rock. welcome to roblox power source of imagination!

erm so lets assume youve played break in 2. and made it to the final boss battle.

basically scary mary rates you based on your preparation. theres 5 main things that she'll critique

your training stats (strength and speed)

the amount of food items you have

the weapon youre holding

if youre wearing the golden armor

the amount of npcs you have

and if youre like me (i bet you are) you were VERY sad VERY VERY SO SAD when she LAUGHED!! but LAUGH she will no more because i have made the guide to getting the "perfect" rating

before i give you my MASTERFUL tips make sure youre doing this with a team of slightly experienced players at least. doing this alone is no easy task and i have yet to do that.

Training

Requirement: Level 5 stat + Level 3 stat

i honestly dont think this is hard to explain. in break in 2 theres a gym and you can train your stats there!

the easiest way to get the max rating on your training stats is a level 5 stat and a level 3 stat, resulting in 8 points total. 4 and 4 will NOT work.

i usually go for strength because treadmill sucks to grind on, but youll want to get 4 strength 3 speed.

you can get a rainbow pizza to boost a stat by 1 via one of those crates you open in the base or the vault kitchen. for the vault kitchen youll want to have 200 bucks to buy the key from the vending machine! DO NOT grab the rainbow pizza. get smoeone else to do it. you cant eat the rainbow pizza if you grab the box, after all!

Food

Requirement: 10 food items

well this one is just easy. make sure to conserve food! i think certain food items (chip bags, golden pizza, stuff like that) counts for 2 or more so dont worry if you only have like. 7. just keep a chip bag or the such handy on you!

a golden apple also counts for like 1 bazillion but i dont think its worth it since you lose a lot of valuable training time by getting the gapple

Weapon

Requirement: The strongest weapon

theres a vending machine in the shop and it dispenses weapons. rare is a golden crowbar (trash), epic is a diamond crowbar (trash), legendary has a few possible "strongest weapons".

theres also a board next to the weaponized vending machine in the shop and if you spam the papers until they all fall off you can see what the strongest weapon is. it could be a bat, a wrench, a rake, just any of the legendary weapons. its a random one.

then you have to gamble until you get it! easy at that. probably the easiest to take care of on this list

Armor

Requirement: Armor lmao

to get armor, you have to go through this 4 step plan

have 150 bucks on you

beat up EVERYONE in the fight zone upstairs (50 people total, can be done with friends to speed up the process by a lot)

open the fight room by hitting the door with level 4+ strength and any weapon

buy the armor from the vending machine in the fight room not the shop

thats all. a little annoying if you arent going for the max level strength route, because youd have to find someone else with 4+ strength but its fine

NPCs

Requirement: Uncle Pete, Twado the Dog, Detective Bradley Beans

ha hahaha HAHAHAHHAHAHA i hate this.

for uncle pete youll have to free him from his cage next to the fight room. you can get the key from inside the kitchen drawer in any spot. DO NOT SWITCH TO A DIFFERENT ITEM OR YOU WILL DROP THE KEY! you can get to the kitchen faster if you craft a parent with a child to make a lockpick

for twado the dog youll.. ugh.. have to go up to the board next to the sign and spam the papers. eventually theyll all fall and reveal the food twado wants! it could be an apple, soda, a pizza or a cookie. if its a pizza or a soda you might as well just restart because those are hell to deal with!

once you find the food he wants go outside of the base and to the left on the "dog trail" where you can retrieve twado and bring him back safely. you only need level 3 speed for it but youll have to be careful with your jumps. DO NOT LET TWADO SLIP ON THE ICE. YOU HAVE TO FEED HIM AGAIN IF SO.

aaaaand detective beaners bones. i hate this guy. so much. but what you need to do is first have 3 speed and a soda (or any means of speeding yuorself up).

you want to complete ALL 3 of uncle pete's tasks (defeat 3 bad guys, then defeat 10, and then beat the pizza boss or clear our the fight room). after he will give you hsi treasured rat!

go upstairs, to the opposite side of the tv where a ladder will be. climb it and make the jump using your speed bonus. if you get the Gym Powerup event the delivery guy brings a ladder which you can place to make the jump much easier but its not necessary really

put the rat on the table and make beans have an allergic reaction and run.

hooray. you did it! you got the perfect rating!

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand The Grotto Podcast. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of speleology most of the jokes will go over a typical listener's head. There's also Matt's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance.

The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE.

As a consequence people who dislike The Grotto Podcast truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Matt's existencial catchphrase "Vodka Coke and Adderal" which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons

I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Athan's genius unfolds itself on their podcast apps. What fools… how I pity them. 😂

And yes by the way, I DO have a diamond tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

How long did you think about/prepare for the comic before you started the comic and did you ever worry that it might not take off?

I came up with the design for White Diamond Steven on August 4th, 2018. At that time, I also said this:

.......famous last words.

Going against my own advice, I DID think about how it all happened. I thought about it for a month, and then in September I sat down and banged out the very first White Diamond AU comic - the one about Earl and Steven leaving together.

To tell the truth, at the time I just thought it would be a neat little idea. I never worried about it 'not taking off' because..... taking off wasn't my goal. I had no diabolical plans to craft a 5-season story, the longest I'd ever done. I had no aspirations to make this AU incredibly popular or well known.

I just wanted to draw silly comics about White Diamond Steven and his Pearl wandering around together.

The original concept for all this wasn't an epic tale. It was just a slice of life.... a very odd slice of life, but a slice of life nevertheless.

Which is why the first season of the story is what it is! Some people complain that it's directionless and boring, but. That was kinda the point. It was meant to be a melancholy, atmospheric little comic strip.

There wasn't any specific goal. I had a backstory, of course, and I KNEW even back then what was happening. But I assumed the interest - both mine and the audience's - would wane and I would just leave it whenever its time had come.

But by October, we had already come to this:

And I think it was around this time (or shortly before it) that I realized that this story couldn't remain in a perpetual just-vibes state forever. I had teased some hints about where the Crystal Gems were, and what their situation was. I had hinted that there was more to the story than had been revealed. And I suddenly thought that maybe I could actually write it.

.... and I kinda did.

(It's still weird to think about how MUCH I've written/drawn for this.)

I think.... a lot of people believe that writing/planning a story is something that happens on command. You sit down, you take a blank sheet of paper, you start from the beginning, and write everything in chronological order, and maybe in a week, or a month, or a year, you'll have 'the plan to write a story'.

And sure, that's one way to do it! But a lot of time, the story comes to YOU.

Rebecca Sugar knew Rose was Pink Diamond before the first episode aired. Was Steven Universe a planned story back then? Arguably, no. But the team had a framework.

I also knew, before drawing a single comic, what WD!Steven's deal was. I knew within about a day how he had come to be. I knew how Greg got involved in all of it. I knew the answer to every single 'BUT WHY DID WHITE DIAMOND--' question you guys have asked me for the past 5 years before I even created this blog.

But that isn't really a 'plan' so much as a concept.

I continue to plan the comics to this day. I know the end, and I know the main story beats. But the middle stuff about how to get there elegantly - that part takes planning. And I never really stopped planning since that day in 2018.

Here's to... more planning in the upcoming year!

plus headcanons because i need to get this out of my brain:

-fyodor would only want to do speedruns or hardcore— he finds minecraft so boring without the challenge. he doesn't care about speedrun.net that much because, if he really wanted to be at the top of that list, he could probably bribe and hack his way in pretty easily. definitely the one out of the three who plays the most (total epic gamer). sometimes (usually because nikolai asks him to) fyodor will hack servers and cause chaos for a little bit before he gets banned (for, like, the 300th time). probably knows how to make super complicated redstone shit but he hardly ever does. favorite biomes: plains, deserts, warped forests

-nikolai causes destruction everywhere he goes. when playing on servers hes a griefer, and when he plays alone/with his friends he just tortures every mob imaginable. prefers to play in creative, and will fly/glide around exploding stuff. he sets villages on fire and watches all the villagers scream and run around in pain and then laughs really loud about it. makes pits of animals that are so densely packed they start dying. he also stretches the game to its limit, spawning in so much stuff that it completely glitches out. the kinda guy to make a huge wolf army also. can entertain himself with this for a little while, but eventually he gets bored and goes to do something else. favorite biomes: coral reefs, nether wastelands, plains

-sigma never plays, but sometimes fyodor and nikolai are playing and he thinks it might be fun. definitely the "what's (insert basic minecraft thing)" to fyodor's "you dont know (insert basic minecraft thing)??????" never got the game explained to him (fyodor and nikolai both immediately ran off to do their own thing) and kept dying over and over. everyone got annoyed at him asking "how do i sprint?" "guys wait why cant i get over this (jump)" "whats this weird green thing why is it hissing at me" "how do i craft an axe" etc. eventually he figured it out and became a builder, every time they played making really cute little houses. always has at least two dogs and one cat that he cares for a lot. probably builds a farm but then gets too attached to the animals to actually kill them. prefers to have long lasting saves in easy mode that he'll build cooler and cooler builds on. eventually tries to recreate the sky casino. uses aesthetic shaders and always has really nice looking skins. favorite biomes: lush caves, flower forests, taiga.

Not Just A Pretty Boy: Chris Evans Lights Up The Screen

Director Danny Boyle calls 'Fantastic Four' actor 'really very special.'

Look quickly at Chris Evans and you're bound to see him as a pretty-boy actor, one of those open faces that would seem more suited to an Abercrombie & Fitch catalog or a fraternity kegger than a nuanced drama. Look quickly at the roles he's chosen, like in "Fantastic Four" or "Not Another Teen Movie" or "The Perfect Score," and you're bound to think of him as silly and lightweight, a hotshot who, as Human Torch/ Johnny Storm, actually plays, well, the consummate hotshot.

Look quickly at Chris Evans, however, and you're bound to miss the most important thing about him -- this boy can act.

"Well, he's a superb actor, and I'm not saying that just 'cause he's in my film. I think he's brilliant," director Danny Boyle said of the 26-year-old actor, whom he cast in the sci-fi epic "Sunshine." "He's a very talented guy, a thoroughbred really. He's a bit of a Mary Poppins -- he can pull anything out of the bag."

"Anything," of course, isn't exactly the word that comes to mind when thinking of Evans' most popular roles (which actually are pretty much his only roles -- the "Cellular" star has only appeared in 10 films). To the casual observer, his characters tend to be more similar than not -- so similar, in fact, that it's tough to look at his filmography and not wonder if Evans isn't just playing some amplified version of himself.

Not so, said Boyle, who cited a lack of opportunity -- not skill -- for the misperceptions about Evans' talent.

"The casting director [for 'Sunshine'] said, 'You should meet this guy, he's underestimated by people.' He came in the room [and was] superb. I cast him and that was it," the director recalled. "I hope he can get stuff that shows his talent 'cause he's really very special."

For Evans, "Sunshine" was that special opportunity, a chance to show a different side of himself while simultaneously working for one of his favorite directors: "Two birds with one stone," he said.

"At the end of the day us actors are here to make good movies -- that's what I love about this business. [But] if you don't have a good director you won't have a really good movie," Evans said. "So if you've got a good director inviting you to work for him, you jump at that opportunity. And that's what Danny offered me."

Working for Boyle offered benefits beyond making a good movie, however, strengthening Evans' belief that in order to be a successful actor you have to "check your ego at the door," he said.

"A lot of times as an actor you are experimenting, you're trying things and you need an anchor. If you're trying something and you're getting off the path, you need your director to come in and reel you in. [You need to tell him,] 'I trust your internal barometer of what's good and what's bad and it's going to protect me,' " Evans revealed of his process. "Danny could have said, 'Try the next take in Spanish,' and I would have said, 'All right.' "

Johnny Storm no more (at least until producers call for a the sequel), Evans will soon take that lesson into more eclectic fare, from playing the dimwitted lead in "The Loss of a Teardrop Diamond," an adaptation of a Tennessee Williams play, to a cop alongside Forest Whitaker in James Ellroy's "The Night Watchmen" to an Iraq War veteran in "Under the Blue Sky."

It's a mix that pleases Evans, he said, smiling broadly. "I like to go see movies that are dramatic. I like to get internal when I watch films. I like to cry when I watch movies. I like being emotional," he divulged. "The truth is, I like acting, period."

Do yourself a favor -- look closer.

Been rereading some IDW and I wanted to compile my favorite very evil and badass things Eggman has done so far and hope to see much more of in the future:

When he ordered for Mimic to kill the Diamond Cutters (most members are just teens!)

and then he threatened Mimic to finish the job when he finds out Whisper got away in a way that makes me 😳😳😳

When he was cruelly toying around with poor critters during the testing of the Metal Virus and loving it, which is a great look into how he treats the animals when they're in his grasp that we don't usually get to see.

When he went back to spit in the face of the people of Windmill Village that took him in as Tinker by pouring the virus goop all over it while saying "no good deed goes unpunished". Ungrateful bastard being an asshole and loving it, gleefully making them regret being foolish enough to give him a chance.

When Starline dared to try to take out Eggman's prey that's for him to beat and destroy alone after proving his power and superiority. I love it mostly for the way he grabbed Starline's neck with just a finger or two and slammed him against the glass hard enough to crack it as the first thrilling display of his physical strength 😍

The way he likes making toys and once again combines a fun hobby with evil as he models his awesome creations and uses them to plan and figure out battle plans and strategies

Plus the reveal of how Eggman made the figurine of Starline a robot, hinting at how he was always either replaceable and nothing more than an underling for him to use just like all his other lackeys

When he fires Starline as a fine example of him throwing his lackeys away when he's finally had it and no longer needs them and just how harsh he is when they disobey his orders

When he attempted to manipulate Sonic to plant a seed of doubt and make him feel guilt for the tragedies of the metal virus. I love the gorgeous sly smirk on that bastard's face 💜

When he grabbed his gun like "oh yeah?" and tried to shoot Tails

The way he was doing evil VR gaming in his evil simulated world, as yet another great way for him to combine a fun hobby with his diabolical schemes!

When he first met Belle as his real self and was just like "pfft what makes your precious Tinker as good as me when I can do stuff like THIS?" *Shows her his fucked up tower concept*

When he talked a bit about his delightfully cute but twisted and disturbing reasons behind his theme parks, capturing everything I love about how admiringly charismatic and passionate he is but so messed up about it at once!

When he fought Starline in the glorious EGG EMPEROR! And the great moment where he said Starline never really had a place of co emperor alongside him because it's all or nothing for him, the world belongs to him alone and nobody else! He said so much of exactly what I've been saying this whole time while in the mech behind my username. I was so happy 💕

The beautiful creepy silhouette Egg and he way he revealed that Starline has been outsmarted and absolutely dominates him

and the way he absolutely fucked Starline up with an epic display of his strength that makes me swoon 😍💖💜💘💗💕

then walked away knowing everything was collapsing and left Starline to his doom, then just announced it like "lol he's dead- so anyway"

Eggman beat him and it killed his will to go on, then he left him as everything caved in which finished him off. Therefore he killed him, he knowingly had direct causation without a care and I consider it as part of his body count.

When he praised Starline but only after he was dead and gone, so he could use it to praise and prove himself as superior by the way Starline is still a bested enemy that he defeated despite this. God damn, that's cold and selfishly egotistical… My man!!! 🥰

And everything about Scrapnik Island with it exploring how he's carelessly thrown away so many of his robots and the impact it has on them all- especially the closer look into how much it devastated Mecha Sonic to go from his greatest creation to abandoned trash.

All these moments bring me great joy and feel like the Eggman I know and love in the games too, I adore his exciting evil and badassery when he gets a piece of the action, proves his skills and strength, and reminds everyone why he's the best!!! 🥰💜

When he's treated well, written with care, and given some of the focus he deserves, he can be fantastic in this comic. His characterization has really been looking up lately, he just really deserves more of a time to shine now as it's been five years and he still hasn't actually been the main villain of a big arc without some twist involving others taking the spotlight. I really hope he gets his turn to really shine in that spotlight for much longer soon!

I wanted to do my own designs, notes about them under the cut

Lady Doppler:

her hair is intended to resemble a cloud (changes based on active weather effect) and the braids have blue beads which represent raindrops)

i tried to go for a slightly more cohesive color palette

belt buckle is a sun, and the frills below it resemble an umbrella

the bottom of her dress is intended to look like clouds (these do not change based on the active weather effect)

Pierre Pressure:

I tried to exaggerate the diamond shape of his head as well as add more red to his design

changed the stripes on his shirt to hypnotic swirls to emphasize his power

gave him coattails and an ascot

the beret is supposed to have an exclamation point as the little pomf bc it looked cool/mimes don't talk and exclamation points indicate volume

Behemoth:

i dont know why but the fact he had a face annoyed me for some reason so i removed it sorry buddy.

tried to emphasize the shoulders by adding larger rocks than the rest of him.

flames on the lower arms to VAGUELY resemble metro man's costume fringe/bc it looked cool

his face is actually intended to resemble the concept art for the tornado titan from Hercules 1997 (it functions almost like a vacuum he can suck stuff into the lava whirlpool)

Nighty Knight:

his colors are intended to be strictly black/silver/purple (+ very small amounts of blue)

this is due to the backstory i imagine him with

he's got one of those knight visor/mouthpiece covers

i didn't vibe with the very colorful insignia so i changed it slightly to match the rest of his colors

i dented+scratched the armor to signify he's been in fights before

in this one i headcanon him AS a sentient suit of armor (it makes sense with my general headcanons about the world the show/movie takes place in dw)

i gave him claws bc it is epic

Man... Crusaders of the Lost Mark is such a good episode...

Not only is it a musical with a total of 6 WHOLE SONGS which is crazy, even for MLP, and all of the songs are good, although 2 stand out from the rest.

Then we havethe fact it's such a deep episode, with how Diamond Tiara saw her cutie mark (basically herself).

The Pony I Wanna Be is a is a fantastic song, and honestly i don't even have to explain why, again, such a deep song, and let me remind you this is sung by a CHILD, which only makes it even more sad.

"I know that diamonds were hard, though i feel i could break"

Also i couldn't help but notice just how pretty the visuals are, like, fr, wallpaper material.

Here Diamond Tiara says something nice even before being redeemed, because of how it resonates with her.

And then we get an even BETTER song, honestly i don't know why people don't talk about Light of your Cutie Mark more often, i genuinely believe this song deserves to be talked alongside with This Day Aria, maybe not on the same level, but pretty damn close.

Like shit, that cuts deep man... And again, it's a child singing this...

"I'm a diamond, which means you never break"

Going completely opposite with the line she said in the earlier song, which is a great detail.

Like, seriously, everything about this episode is just great, i haven't even mentioned the fact the crusaders get their cutie marks in this episode, and that's because that fact is just meh compared to the rest of the stuff on the episode, imma be real.

But this looks straight up epic, like, damn.

Also it gave us this frame, which is gold.

god i hope no one on the face of the earth sees this and at the same time im hoping someone does. cabyang is such an interesting ship to me because of cabby and yinyangs past,present and future you would think after the first betrayals animation epic would've stuck them together. like cold unwavering person who in it to win it and nothing else meets two people who can't be bothered with winning, just seeming to have fun and go with the flow no matter the consequences, allowing for yinyang to realize that although a lot of people are cruel, not everyone is and allowing cabby to realize that you can't truly win something if you had no positive experiences except the winning part, and yet with this huge missed opportunity early on i still feel like their relationship now is super satisfying and is going to be instrumental into helping yinyang with those obvious insecurities, not searching to fix him once and for all like candle, but looking too uplift him when he needs it and take little steps. But even if you take all this serious stuff out of it they are still a TREAT onscreen, like just knowledgeable but awkward person and silly goofy guy(s) where one is also kinda awkward and definitely chaotic but the other is more rational and level headed is just an inherently great concept with lots of comedy potential, but also they have great potential for angst and also fluff and really they seem like the perfect fit for eachother. Like two (technically three but you know what I mean) symbiotic species so intertwined with eachother despite just growing close to one another. Truly despite not having much screentime together they are the friendship equivalent to striking gold, or hell even diamonds. They also work great romantically, with the eternal awkward tug of war of "just confess already but don't because this is super entertaining watching you both miss the others bad flirting like this" leading into just a flat out healthy and entertaining relationship, wether you use it for angst, fluff or whatever! I will rep this ship until the day I die.

More Hotchniss! /o/

Because it’s the only Criminal Minds stuff (sort of) I wanted to draw lately. Sorry for those of you who don’t like this pairing. ^^; 

Well, they are good guinea pigs to exercise myself drawing couples interacting together. Because it’s easy to draw people standing alone more or less far from another one, but it’s way more difficult to draw two people holding and touching each other. You have to pay attention to the proportions of each of them (their height, their size, their shapes) and to deal with the distance between the partners (like how can they be that close to each other with all those body parts in-between? (see on those bed scenes all the missing arms... XD)). 

The last drawing is, for example, an epic fail on proportions (Aaron is too small) and perspective. But, hey, I tried. X)
