Lore time!! Here’s a giant wall of text for all the lovely theorists out there ;) This panel(s) is huge, so it took absolutely forever, but I got a lot of help, which was really nice :) And I’m debuting one of my 3D models! The Kaleidoscope in and of itself took me months to make. Because it’s so complicated, it needed a pretty advanced reference, aka an entire posable model I made in Blender. But now that it’s done, I can pose it for just about whatever angle we’ll need it for in the future!

Thank you all for being so patient with me. We’re almost at Act 4 now!!

I have a project to present to you,

dear creatures. One close to my heart that -should it come to fruition- will require your participation. A couple years ago I made a design, The cycle breaking Ouroboros. My skills have grown since then and I try to do a redraw of said design every year.

I’ve seen a few people get this design tattooed on them, I’ve sold a lot of tattoo passes of this particular design but sadly; I have yet to actually tattoo this design on anyone myself.

I aim to fix that this year; but I want to be specific. I really want to do a series of tattoos with variants of this design—featuring different types of snakes on different people. People who have all broken cycles in some manner. If the participants are open to it, maybe we could record the session and talk a little about life. If they rather be private, then we can just record the tattoo process itself.

For these tattoos I’d like to ask for below my minimum, so I can get supplies - $60

and to ensure the participants are serious and will commit to a session.

I’m located in the mountains of Southern California and if this is a project you’d like to be involved in please message me and let’s set something up. This is an idea close to my heart and it will be handled with sensitivity and earnestness. Ultimately this is art I wish to create that requires the collaboration of very special canvases and I hope perhaps I can find them.

Toxic Family

Okay, so Tumblr is like the only place for me to vent about the toxic and just not okay stuff that happened while I was growing up. So y'all get a little story time because if I keep this stuff solely to myself any longer I might combust.

So my aunt (biological fathers sister) is in town for a few days, since she lives out of state their were a few of us hanging out at my bio mother's house catching up.

(For context, my biological father is dead, he was abusive and pretty much just a shitty person in general so there's no sad feelings on my part for him no longer being on this planet, if anything it made things a lot better and less stressful now that it's no longer no contact, but that there is no way he can ever get to me again.)

But I digress, in the midst of everyone catching up, his past affinity for inappropriate physical touch and behavior came into conversation; this is only a problem because of how easy it was for everyone talking to laugh it off and almost reminisce about it. I don't know what it is about people excusing and even glorifying disgusting behavior, especially when it comes from family members, but it needs to stop.

Within the realms of conversation my mother and aunt talked about how he would just go up and slap or pinch women's butts. And how my mother would have to "warn" people ahead of time of this, like coworkers or friends, and even extended family that when they met him he would be groping them. She would tell them "it's fine, it's fine! I just thought I'd let you know."

Umm... Firstly, it's not fine. That's unsolicited and non-consensual sexual advances that in no world should ever be brushed under the rug or excused, regardless of who that person is. Also, it put those women in incredibly uncomfortable positions where they could either laugh along and get groped, or say something and then be seen as the bad guy for "making a harmless situation something gross and bad."

It's also a problem because my siblings and I were raised with this happening. He did it to his sisters, his wives/girlfriends, strangers, friends, daughters, and pretty much anyone and everyone. Because of this, we were never actually allowed bodily autonomy. Any and every time I would say something, or ask him to stop because it made me uncomfortable, he would flip out. He'd make me feel like a piece of shit because it was my fault and I was the one making this "touch bad". My mother by the way would agree with him, she'd tell me to suck it up and let him do what he wants, and that I was making it into something it wasn't.

Along with that of course, is the mandatory groping older male family members seem to feel obligated to. Like please someone else reiterate that this is not normal or healthy behavior, because it's not. And something that put it into perspective to me was the thought of this happening within my friends families. Like I cannot picture some of my friends, or even just people that I know, having this happen. Like it would NEVER be okay if it were to take place in the realm of their household/family dynamic.

Can I please get some common ground on this matter, like was it just my family that did this or what? This kinda stuff was not and is not okay. Ever.

I'm so tired of people and my family and being the only one trying to work on myself and heal my traumas. I'm tired of my mom lashing out at me and refusing to address her own issues and projecting them onto me. Tired of receiving emotional unavailability when I try to maintain a connection. I'm a fucking adult and still have to suffer through this just because I can't afford to live elsewhere.

No wonder I want to live on my own in the woods with my animals. People are exhausting.

So. Latest story post turned out to be way longer than I anticipated?? No wonder it’s been taking so long ^^; But here’s half of it! Still working on the other half, but I’m finally letting Erik help me with the art after trying to do nearly everything by myself like a dummy for almost 3 years so hopefully the next bit will be out much sooner!!

First off, I'm glad you all are enjoying Ending the Cycle, Mello, Mercy, and I put a lot of love and effort into it, so we are hoping you all stick tune for what is to happen in the future!

As for Mello, I mean, as far as I'm aware they are doing fine. We've both got our own lives we've been battling with and I know they've been dealing with school these past couple of months. We've been going back and forth with one another regarding the comic and getting things set up for the future, but as for that, its still kind of a "If we have time we work on it" kind of ordeal at the moment.

I'm glad you've all been sticking with us throughout this! We hope to get an update out to you as soon as we can, just please be patient with us!

What themes/concepts in the canon do you most enjoy exploring in your fan works? 

I love going into the details! The side characters, the stuff “off screen”! This blog was originally called “ending the side characters” as I focused on the side characters of @ending-the-cycle-ask. I made more friends and discovered more au’s I branched out! Hopefully I can get some ideas for other characters to explore soon!
