In the Oceanic Islands House, Cambridge Botanic Garden, UK, the Sonchus acaulis (giant dandelion) is blooming. Giant flowering stems can reach up to 250cm in height arising from a rosette of serrated, fleshy leaves. This species has a very limited distribution, occurring in Tenerife and the Canary Islands with a low rainfall and good drainage.

Yeah, maybe no one is masking for the protections of other anymore, but at the very least you should have access to FREE high quality masks built to protect the wearer as much as it protects others around them.

You can't change people, only how you react to them. No one's wrong for complaining about the lack of concern for the more vulnerable to COVID 19 as it transitions for pandemic to endemic, but we also need to spread awareness of things we have now that can make difference.

These aren't hard to get anymore. It's not a perfect solution but I don't think enough people, at least in the US, know they can get it for free.

I went to Shoebill Park in Uganda (around the Mabamba Bay marshes on the shores of Lake Victoria) to research about this endemic species- "Shoebill". Shoebills are aquatic birds that predominantly inhabit freshwater swamps in central and eastern African countries mainly; South Sudan, eastern parts of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Uganda, western Tanzania, and northern parts of Zam

They can also be found in the Albert Delta, and up the Victoria Nile found in Murchison Falls National Park.
