End of the Universe by Gooseworx is both haunting and whimsical at the same time. Absolutely my favorite song of theirs.

End of the Universe
Epilogue
“We had a pact, me and him. Every star in the universe, we were going to see them all.”
--
Eyes set on the closed set of doors, the Doctor’s hands fidgeted in her folded arms. The Master stood in the very corner of her vision, his elegant suit and waistcoat a matching black, and the silver suit chain complimenting the shiny print on his tie and pocket square. Her own tuxedo fitted her well, the blue of her waistcoat standing out against the black of her jacket and trousers. Over their suits, they both wore the dark crimson robes customary of a Gallifreyan wedding ceremony, trimmed in a golden silk about two inches wide. Even now, it was hard to believe the day had finally come, that it wasn’t some kind of wishful dream she would soon wake from.
The light clinking of heels against the stone floor got both Time Lord’s attention. Spades approached from behind, solid red officiant’s cape draped over her shoulders. The traditional garb matched nicely with her off-the-shoulder dress, wine red with black, floral lace overlaying the top, a black belt at the waist, and thin black mesh over the skirt. For once, she lacked some form of bag, having elected to leave the TARDIS once belonged to the Master parked outside of the Doctor’s. “Thought a time ram might put a damper on the wedding,” she’d reasoned.
“It’s time,” she informed them.
Looking to the Doctor, the Master flashed a grin. “Ready?”
Grinning back, the Doctor’s arms relaxed at her sides. The slipping of nerves through his mask of calm reminded her of another time he asked her that, in the moments she was being moved to the delivery room.
“Yeah,” she said, the opposite of what she answered last time.

Her eyes were like falling stars.
The last dying exhaust from a starship
White stars flashed in the ribbon dark ink sky
There was a last time for everything
What better time?
To stare at the last thing beside you.
The lights above
And the dying universe below
All strive to remind
Even as my voice is ripped from me that
I Love You
No matter what.

i love when i read up on the end of the universe and find myself extremely existential, wondering why im here and what will happen after the inescapable end.

Yeah there’s this amazing new restaurant just down the road.
The dish of the day actually WANTS you to eat him.
See.
Obviously they don’t serve him live.
You just get to meet him first.

When the world ends, someone will wake up and breakfast will be ready and they'll talk about the crazy dream they had.
