My Minecraft Adventures

So I finally got to play some Minecraft for a while this weekend after I finished all the adulting that needed done. Originally after defeating the Ender Dragon I had planned on deleting Sweetbriar Springs and starting fresh with the 1.19 update. But when it came down to it, I couldn’t do it. Silly is it may sound, Sweetbriar Springs has been a lot of firsts for me. I’ve accomplished quite a lot of things that previously I never even thought of, and in doing so, boosted my confidence in what I think I can do.

That being said, while I ended up not deleting Sweetbriar springs, I did start playing in a new world, but it didn’t take me long to abandon that one for the comfort and familiarity of my little cottage. After all there’s still so much that I’d like to do to improve it.

The first thing on my list was to get an Elytra, because flying around Sweetbriar Springs would be so much easier and faster. So I ended up going back into the End, and spent a few hours looking, and 1 death and 2 end cities later, I found a ship. Upon getting the Elytra, and the [Sky’s the Limit] achievement, I got so excited to actually have one, I literally jumped ship without remembering to actually put it on. Oops.

But I was able to go back and get it. After dying twice in the End, I was just ready to go home, so after making sure I had the Elytra equipped, I flew back to the End gate then flew all the way back home.

After that I made sure I had a mob farm set up, during which a few pillagers showed up, which I killed, and then forgot that all the villagers I have to trade with actually counts as a village and so started a raid, another first, but I succeeded in defending my home, after dying a few more times. :D

At the end of the day, I’m just glad to actually have an Elytra, and be back in my cottage, safe and sound.

Journalist Mohammed Saber Arab reports from western Gaza City following the withdrawal of occupation troops from that area. The Arabic text reads “غرب غزة اليوم" which means “west Gaza today”.

Behind him is a multi-story building that has been bombed, the outer walls are completely stripped off so that the rooms and hallways of the building are exposed, and the floors are collapsing. He overviews the destruction he observed today in West Gaza and provides a panorama of the destruction in the around area, including a road which has been destroyed by IOF bulldozers and is strewn with the debris.

The Palestine Red Crescent ambulance was discovered bombed the Tal al-Hawa area of Gaza City, resulting in the killing of crew members Yusuf Zeino and Ahmed Al-Madhoun, who had been missing since a rescue mission for the child Hind Rajab 12 days ago. The occupation deliberately targeted the ambulance upon its arrival at the scene, where it was found just meters away from the vehicle containing the trapped child Hind.

Hind was only 6 years old, murdered by the occupation forces.

Hear me out. Amity Park gets shifted in universes slightly- maybe it’s from Pariah, maybe it was a wish, maybe they did so on purpose to escape something- and they end up in the DC-verse. The thing is, thanks to the media blackout and the shields, no one in the new universe notices. The Amityville Paekers know about outside, can go on the internet and leave whenever they want, but they’ve all become more than a little liminal. More than a little off. Movements too graceful, eyes too sharp, ears too pointed and teeth more akin to predatory fangs. Skin with a soft glow, hair moving as though underwater or being tussled by the wind- bodies seemingly unaging after a certain point. They’re so ecto-contaminated that they’re unsure they can even be counted as human anymore, and it wasn’t like the city wasn’t already practically self sufficient. Add in a portal or two through the Infinite Realms to get supplies to start a few fields or some fish farms and well, they’re pretty good. Sure it’s resulted in them using a mixture of modern and older money and having several extinct plants and animals running around but that’s fine. There’s magic in this world! Actual magic, that they can learn! And use? Oh this makes rebuilding after a sparring incident go so much faster! 

This results in the hero who stumbles across this place to believe they’ve stumbled across some sort of city of fae or elves.

Bruce stared. He had just been lecturing one of his son on his gala manners. Dick or Jason were usually the ones misbehaving like that, not Tim! What had gotten into his son to behave like that in public when he wasn't even in a sleep deprived state. Of course, Bruce had to lecture his kid and benched him for the night to get some sleep because Tim had to be sleep deprived to act like that. That was untill said son, he was lecturing, came through the front door shouting at him for leaving him behind at the gala.

His head swayed between Tim and the teen he had apparently just abducted and possibly has now knowledge of their secret identities.

Okay, maybe Alfred was right about his amount of sleep. Bruce brain went to overdrive, he could play it all of with an extended Brucie act.

That was before the teen lifted on hand in a calming manner and sheepishly smiled at him.

Danny: I get the whole secret identity thing, but i dont think it's a good idea to bench me, when ghost might come attacking. I won't tell a soul about yours if you keep mine! I can make a death vow if that helps. So can I call vlad now? As much as I like getting on his nerves and away from him. HE is my original ride home.

Tim: Wait, Vlad Masters who pestered ME all night is your guardian?

Bruce continued staring at the teen that looked like Tim and was now talking to his son while his son was parallel texting on his phone. No doubt telling his other sibling.

Good, they will never let this go and Alfred will use this situation against him next time he works through several nights.
