Sad that this modern world has largely forgotten about the sacred connection between the Moon and the menstrual cycle. A man hellbent on denying the influences of anything in the cosmos on us, even once tried to explain to me that such a connection doesn’t exist. 🤦‍♀️
Since I’ve been reflecting on the topic of empowering women today, one of the most empowering things people born into a body with two X chromosomes can do, is decondition themselves from the belief that their period is some unfair punishment. Even if that’s exactly how it feels to you, please realize that there’s beauty and wisdom in the way your body was designed to connect with the cyclical journeys of the Moon. The female body also transports life to our realm, which is a big deal even if you never do that. It’s no wonder women are often described as having better intuition. Our innate connection with the Great Mother🌝 gives us numerous powers and privileges in my mind, and especially if we are open to it.
Also, I’d like to share my testimony, that once I developed true spiritual appreciation for my cycle, bleeding and the pre-menstrual part literally became physically easier for me too. To be fair, I mostly only had periods from nearly a decade prior, pre birth control, to compare to the also hormone-free periods I started having after going au naturel again. But the difference was night and day, from the periods I struggled through in my beginning years of menstruation. And when I saw a tweet a year or two back from an astrologer and psychic who said that women can actually start to bleed less heavily from cultivating the type of appreciation I had for my cycle, I was given the validation I needed that this theory I’d myself wondered about wasn’t crazy.
With this in mind, it’s disturbing how much there’s really only a culture for grouching about menstruation in this society. Is it any wonder so many have such a hard time with the experience? Between unnatural physical factors in our modern world and a society that currently views menstruation as just a health event and a nuisance, there are millions of people out there ensuring their bodies and spirits remain strongly resistant to a natural process.
Do yourselves a big favor and remember what your spirit knows- you were made by sacred design. Even if your periods don’t coincide with the Full Moon or with any part of the Moon’s 29.5 day cycle through its phases or 27.3 day cycle around the zodiac (mine personally tends to come on my lunar return when the Moon is in Scorpio!🤯), your body’s design and experience took inspiration from the Moon.
Bleeding just brings you closer to the cosmos, to your own power, and to perceiving the divine interconnectedness of everything in nature. 🩸🖤

Have you noticed.. when a woman is vocal or if she is setting boundaries.. she is immediately perceived as someone who is evil or difficult or as someone who is hiding something.
And also Society be like..
Confident women should calm down and calm women should open up more.
Basically none of them accept us for who or how we are.. and why should we (women) morph ourselves to please a society that is readily judging us.
