Uhh.. I have no idea lol. So far, my favorite food lately has been burgers.

D23 Expo 2019: Disney Parks Announcements
Tumblr media
At the D23 Expo 2019, Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Bob Chapek unveiled details on how Disney is bringing the next generation of immersive storytelling to life. Chapek welcomed thousands of fans as he shared more about the ambitious plans in store for one of the most extraordinary periods of expansion in Disney history. From Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser and the timeless transformation of Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort, to the Avengers Campus coming to both Disneyland Resort and Disneyland Paris, to the Disney Wish arriving on the high seas in January 2022, there are more ways than ever for guests to be front and center in their favorite stories.
Tumblr media
“It was Walt’s vision for our theme parks to be places where Disney stories come to life in amazing ways, and with the world’s most creative and talented team of artists and dreamers, there’s no shortage of inspiration,” Chapek said.
Tumblr media
The audience was amazed as Disney Legend Dick Van Dyke joined Chapek onstage for a sweeping performance of “Step in Time” to announce the first Mary Poppins attraction at a Disney park, coming to Epcot. Live music continued to swell in the auditorium as award-winning composer Pinar Toprak performed her new anthem for Epcot on piano. Noted singer Jordan Fisher also surprised guests with a sneak peek of the musical score for Disneyland’s new parade.
Tumblr media
The morning was full of exciting announcements on plans for Disney parks, resorts, cruise ships and beyond: Super Heroes Assembling Around the World
Tumblr media
Avengers Campus Coming to California and Paris Guests can suit up alongside their favorite Super Heroes at the Avengers Campus, beginning in 2020 at Disney California Adventure park and later at Disneyland Paris. Both campuses will feature the first Disney ride-through attraction to feature Spider-Man. The attraction will give guests a taste of what it’s like to have actual super powers as they sling webs to help Spider-Man collect Spider-Bots that have run amok.
Tumblr media
As Super Heroes continue to assemble at both campuses, one of the iconic buildings in California will be the Avengers Headquarters. The building will become the future entrance to a brand-new E-Ticket attraction where guests will fly alongside the Avengers in an epic adventure to Wakanda and beyond when it opens in the next phase of development. Avengers Campus will feature Pym Test Kitchen where Pym Technologies is using the latest innovations to grow and shrink food. Guests will also find heroic encounters throughout the campus, including Ant-Man and The Wasp, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Super Heroes from Wakanda and Asgard, and Iron Man. Guests may even catch a glimpse of the Avengers along the rooftops of the Avengers Headquarters.
Tumblr media
At Disneyland Paris, guests can extend their adventures at Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, opening next summer. The hotel will celebrate 80 years of Marvel art and artists, with more than 300 stunning pieces on display. Rooms will include one-of-a-kind themed suites featuring favorite Super Heroes like Spider-Man, and guests can even meet these legends in a dedicated space. A Star Wars Voyage Unlike Any Other
Tumblr media
Guests are eagerly awaiting the immersive Star Wars vacation experience coming to Walt Disney World Resort. Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will be a glamorous ship – the Halcyon – where every window features stellar views into space. Guests will embark together on a two-night adventure that includes special activities, incredible dining, and a “spaceport” day on Batuu at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, inviting guests even deeper into their own Star Warsstories. Disney Cruise Line Magic On and Off the Ships
Tumblr media
With three new ships coming to the Disney Cruise Line fleet, there’s so much to look forward to on the high seas. Today, Chapek announced the first of the three ships – the Disney Wish – will be delivered in late 2021 and will set sail in January 2022. Reflecting the theme of the vessel, Rapunzel will grace the stern, representing her character’s wish to see the world. D23 Expo attendees also got a first look at the ship’s three-story atrium, inspired by the beauty of an enchanted fairytale. Guests can also look forward to a signature island experience that celebrates nature and the spirit and culture of The Bahamas at a new Disney port of call located on the breathtaking island of Eleuthera at a place called Lighthouse Point. Timeless Transformation of Epcot
Tumblr media
Chapek shared more of the ways Epcot will stay true to its original vision while bringing timeless Disney storytelling to life with the magic of possibility. The park will be unified with four neighborhoods that each celebrate a unique aspect of what makes Epcot so special: World Showcase
World Showcase will welcome the first attraction inspired by Mary Poppins in Cherry Tree Lane, which will join the United Kingdom pavilion as an entirely new neighborhood.
Following the limited-time run of Epcot Forever, the new nighttime spectacular HarmonioUS will be the largest ever created for a Disney park, celebrating how the music of Disney inspires people the world over.
In summer 2020, the France pavilion will offer even more for guests to discover, including the much-anticipated attraction Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, as well as a delicious new restaurant called La Crêperie de Paris.
Also in the France pavilion, the classic Impressions de France film will be joined by an all-new “Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along” in January 2020.
“Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360” will debut in January 2020 in the Canada pavilion with new scenes and a new story.
In the China pavilion, “Wondrous China” will take guests on a spectacular journey across China, filmed and presented in a completely seamless 360-degree digital format.
World Celebration
The iconic Spaceship Earth will remain a voyage through time as the journey transforms with new scenes reflecting the universal nature of the human experience. A new guide and all-new narration will focus on the storytelling that brings people together.
A new pavilion will be the home base for Epcot’s signature festivals. It will provide a stunning view of World Showcase and an ideal spot to witness the park’s nighttime spectacular. This beautiful, three-level structure will have one of the most remarkable designs at any Disney park and will fast become a new icon for Epcot.
World Celebration will also feature breathtaking views at Dreamers Point, lush gardens, a wishing tree, an interactive new fountain and a statue celebrating the legacy of the original dreamer, Walt Disney.
World Nature
Journey of Water, Inspired by “Moana” will be a lush exploration trail where guests can meet and play with magical, living water.
The Land pavilion’s new film “Awesome Planet,” which showcases the spectacular beauty, diversity, and dynamic story of the planet, will begin welcoming guests in January 2020.
Tumblr media
World Discovery
Guests will ride on a daring adventure featuring the first reverse launch into space on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This thrilling, family-friendly attraction will feature a never-before-seen storytelling coaster that rotates to focus on the action, wherever it may be.
An expansion of the Mission: SPACE pavilion, the new restaurant Space 220 will open this winter as an out-of-this-world culinary experience with the celestial panorama of a space station, including daytime and nighttime views of Earth from 220 miles up.
PLAY! pavilion will open in time for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World. In this interactive metropolis, guests will discover a city bursting with games, activities, and experiences that connect them with friends, family, and beloved Disney characters like never before.

50 Years of Walt Disney World Resort

For the first time, the celebration will extend beyond Magic Kingdom to each of the resort’s four theme parks with highly anticipated attraction openings and new entertainment, food and beverage, merchandise, and more.
Planned to debut in late 2020, Disney Genie is a revolutionary new digital offering that will enhance the way guests plan for and experience a trip to Walt Disney World Resort. Disney Genie will make planning easier and more fun by providing guests customized itineraries geared to princesses, thrill seekers, foodies, families and more. As part of the multi-year transformation of the park, guests will be able to visit the world of Frozen, complete with all its sights, sounds, cuisine, and traditions. The area will feature two incredible attractions – a new coaster called Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs that takes guests on a winding journey through the kingdom, and Frozen Ever After, inspired by the incredibly popular family attraction in Epcot’s Norway pavilion at Walt Disney World Resort. Wrong movie announced Best Picture at Oscars
LOS ANGELES (AP) - The 89th Academy Awards got off on the right foot, with a song and dance, but ended with the most stunning mistake ever to befall the esteemed awards show when the best picture Oscar was presented to the wrong movie. Faye Dunaway and Warren Beatty, holding an incorrect envelope, wrongly presented the top prize to "La La Land," instead of "Moonlight." The moment at the conclusion of the Sunday night show was so jaw-dropping, it eclipsed everything else in a ceremony that was packed to the brim with Donald Trump jabs, fun stunts, heartfelt positivity and a stunning upset by "Moonlight" over what had been a "La La" juggernaut throughout award season. Yet somehow, even the embarrassing moment pivoted into grace. As confusion and bafflement overwhelmed those in the Dolby Theatre and at home on their couches, "Moonlight" director Barry Jenkins and "La La Land" director Damien Chazelle shared a hug on the back of the stage, out of sight from the television cameras. "The folks of 'La La Land' were so gracious. I can't imagine being in their position and having to do that," Jenkins told reporters backstage. "It was unfortunate that things happened as they did but, goddamn, we won best picture." Oscar tabulators PwC, in their 83rd year providing the service to the academy, later apologized to all in a statement and are investigating why it happened. There's no denying, though, that "Moonlight's" win over "La La Land" was a massive upset, made only more pointed by the envelope gaffe. Chazelle's candy-colored musical was widely presumed to be a shoo-in for the top prize after its record-tying 14 nominations and a relative sweep of award season. The film still won six Oscars, including best director for Chazelle, who at 32 became the youngest ever to take the prize, and for score, song ("City of Stars") and actress to Emma Stone. The actress, who pledged her deep love of "Moonlight," said later, "Is that the craziest Oscar moment of all time? Cool!" The academy usually throws awards at films that gaze lovingly at Hollywood, but Barry Jenkins' heartfelt coming-of-age drama seduced academy voters in the end - a subtle tide change perhaps informed by both a prickly political climate and an urgent imperative to honor more diverse films after two consecutive years of OscarsSoWhite. Diversity could be found in every corner of the awards this year, with supporting acting wins for "Moonlight's" Mahershala Ali and "Fences'" Viola Davis, although the best actor category proved to be a bit of an upset when Casey Affleck won for "Manchester by the Sea" over Denzel Washington of "Fences," who had picked up momentum in recent weeks. The improvement followed efforts by Academy of Motions Pictures Arts and Sciences President Cheryl Boone Isaacs to diversify the membership of the largely white, older and male film academy. "Tonight is proof that art has no borders, no single language and does not belong to a single faith," said Isaacs. Davis gave a particularly powerful speech in which she praised the late "Fences" playwright August Wilson who, she said, "Exhumed and exalted the ordinary people." Kimmel said later that Davis, "Just got nominated for an Emmy for that speech." Ezra Edelman, whose nearly eight hour epic "O.J.: Made in America" took best documentary, dedicated the award to the victims of the famous crime, Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. Rich Moore, one of the three directors of Disney's best animated film winner "Zootopia," described the movie as about "tolerance being more powerful than fear of the other." The majority of speeches were moving and personal and generally in praise of art's ability to create empathy in the world, including Jenkins' in his win for adapted screenplay, who said, "All you people out there who feel like there isn't a mirror out there for you, the Academy has your back, the ACLU has your back, and for the next four years we will not leave you alone, we will not forget you." But not one speech came close to Meryl Streep's Golden Globes barnburner. "Personally, I didn't say anything because my head was completely blank," Affleck said backstage of his not political speech. Instead, politics stayed largely with host Jimmy Kimmel, who kept his barbs coy and irreverent, stating at the start that he wasn't the man to unite the country. The host peppered the evening with digs at President Trump, at one point asking the crowd to stand for the "overrated Meryl Streep," and, later, for any news outlet with the word "Times" in its name to leave, saying "we have no tolerance for fake news." Kimmel even jokingly thanked the president for shifting the focus of the night. "Remember last year when it seemed like the Oscars were racist?" he said in the opening. The evening's most blunt protests against Trump came not from the A-list stars but from foreigners, a few of whom were not even in attendance and could communicate their sentiments only through statements. Kimmel, as if predicting that this would be the case, said early that the Oscars are watched by 225 countries "that now hate us." Iranian director Asghar Farhadi, whose "The Salesman" won best foreign film, his second win in the category, did not attend the ceremony in protest of Trump's travel ban to seven predominantly Muslim nations. Anousheh Ansari, an Iranian astronaut, read a statement from Farhadi. "I'm sorry I'm not with you tonight," it read. "My absence is out of respect for the people of my country and those of other six nations who have been disrespected by the inhumane law that bans entry of immigrants to the U.S." Gael Garcia Bernal, the Mexican actor, while presenting an award also declared: "As a migrant worker, as a Mexican, and as a human being, I am against any wall." But, of course, the big best picture mistake will be the thing that history remembers abou the 89th Academy Awards. "Let's remember this is just an awards show," Kimmel said at the close. "I knew I would screw this show up, I really did. I promise I'll never come back." ___ AP Film Writer Jake Coyle contributed from Los Angeles. Copyright 2017 The Associated Press. The 89th Academy Awards will telecast live from L.A.’s Dolby Theatre Sunday, hosted by late night’s Jimmy Kimmel and presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, recognizes excellence in cinematic achievements in the film industry as assessed by the Academy’s voting membership. But … and there always is one … there’s the rub.
The Oscars air on ABC, beginning at 7:30 p.m. CT and run to or past three-and-a-half hours. Prior to the Awards, there’ll be lots of glitz and glamour with the red carpet arrivals.
Compared to last year and its lack of diversity, this year it’s the difference of day v. night – with an overload of all sorts of diversity. To avoid another brouhaha, the Academy initiated numerous changes in the make-up of the committees and membership [increasing the youth or younger factor].
2016 was also a big year for indies – several of which made it into the Top Nine.
The Academy welcomes the nominees in 24 categories and presenters with these words: No matter who you are or where you live, movies bring us together. Through indelible, fearless performances you extraordinary actors help make it happen. And the world listens. [Bring to the screen your tired, your poor, your huddled masses and let it infuse them with buttered popcorn, Sno-caps, and ice-cold Coke.]
There’s a new prez and not all of Hollywoodland is pleased with DJT, so expect loud protests and anti-testimonials. Several stars have announced they won’t attend; however, by attending, they could make an impact and be heard worldwide.
The Oscars, live and on tape, are seen by an estimated 35 million worldwide. At press time, President Trump and Pope Francis haven’t been added to the presenter’s list or weighed in on the nominations – some of which must displease both.
The fate of Best Picture is in the hands of the Hollywood caucus. Leading the pack in nominations are “La La Land“ (Lionsgate) received a record-tying 14 (1950’s “All About Eve” – and 1997’s “Titanic“ also achieved this distinction). “Arrival” and “Moonlight” (A24/Plan B) came in second with eight.
Actress in a leading role will be the category where the winner could be anybody’s guess. There’s been so much hype about Emma Stone in “La La Land,” but Isabelle Huppert turned in a memorable performance in “Elle“ (Sony Pictures Classics), and the incredible Natalie Portman turned herself inside out to create a harrowing impersonation of “Jackie”(Fox Searchlight), our former first lady. Three-time Oscar winner Meryl Streep continued to break records with her 20th nomination (Best Actress, Supporting Actress) for “Florence Foster Jenkins.”
Over in the men’s category, Casey Affleck outshined older brother, rising to star status at the top of the pack with his extraordinary performance in Kenneth Lonergan’s “Manchester by the Sea“ (Amazon Studios).
Often it’s puzzling how nominators nominate. For instance, when she is billed as a co-star in bold lettering and carries at least, if not more, of the screen adaptation of August Wilson’s Tony and Drama Desk-winning Fences, starring the leads of the 2010 Broadway revival, Tony-nominated Denzel Washington and Viola Divas, how does two-time nominee (“Doubt,” “The Help“) Davis get regulated to the Supporting Actress category? And wasn’t Jeff Bridges an equal star with Ben Foster and Chris Pine in “Hell and High Water“?
Presenters will include: five-time Oscar nominee Amy Adams, Oscar winner Javier Bardem, Oscar winner Warren Beatty, Golden Globe winner Gael Garcia Bernal, Oscar winner Halle Berry, Oscar and Golden Globes winner Faye Dunaway, Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio, GG nominee Scarlett Johansson, Dwayne Johnson, Oscar nominee Felicity Jones, Oscar and Drama Desk winner Shirley MacLaine (seven nominations), David Oyelowo, Oscar and Tony winner Mark Rylance, two-time Oscar nominee Emma Stone, Oscar winner Charlize Theron, and Oscar and SAG winner and Golden Globe nominee Alicia Vikander.
Artists will be “Waitress“ composer [and soon-to-be-star of the musical] Sara Bareilles, performing the In Memoriam tribute. Auli’l Cravalho and Lin-Manuel Miranda will sing the nominated “How Far I’ll Go” from Animated nominee Moana, Rock’s John Legend, who was featured in nominated La La Land will perform “City of Stars” and “Audition (The Fools Who Dream),” Sting sings “The Empty Chair” from “Jim: The James Foley Story” (HBO); and Justin Timberlake will perform “Can’t Stop the Feeling” from “Trolls” (Dreamworks Animation).
Honorary Awards were bestowed to Jackie Chan, the Hong Kong martial artist; Oscar-winning British editor (“Lawrence of Arabia,” many more) who has four nominations; veteran casting director Lynn Stalmaster; and Frederick Wiseman, Emmy-winning documentarian and international theater director.
Oscar certainly hasn’t always been perfect, so you might anticipate an upset. “Citizen Kane,” now considered one of the greatest movies of all time, didn’t catch on with audiences of its day, but it got a Best Picture nod – only to be outgunned by the Welsh mining drama “How Green Was My Valley“ Best Picture. Star Orson Welles co-wrote the screenplay with the great Herman J. Mankiewicz, but through some maneuver Welles got sold credit and, on winning, didn’t even have the largesse to mention, much less credit Mankiewicz [which may have marked the beginning of his slow downfall].
Could there be a tie as in 1969, when two Best Actress winners were announced: Katharine Hepburn/”The Lion in Winter“ and Barbra Streisand/ “Funny Girl.” With Hepburn absent, Streisand had the stage all to herself for her famous quip, “Hello, Gorgeous!”
Could there have been a more celebrated film and director in 1973 than Francis Ford Coppola and “The Godfather,” which captured Best Picture. However, it was Broadway’s Bob Fosse who grabbed the director gold for the screen adaptation of Best Picture nominee “Cabaret.”
The Academy Award, nicknamed “Oscar,” was first presented in 1929. Tickets were $5, 15 statuettes were awarded in a dinner ceremony that ran 15 minutes. The annual Awards were broadcast on radio in 1930; and first televised in 1953. Bob Hope became the host dejour. The Oscars are now seen live in more than 200 countries and can be streamed online.
Open those darn envelopes, please. Got your ballot? Vote. Let the winner be your winner! Nomination highlights:

Judy Hopps vs The Beavers | Some things never change! 🐰 🚧 🦫
I put the date to correspond with Zootopia’s theatrical release, but according to Nick’s permits for selling popsicles, I think in the movie, when Judy first comes to the city, actually takes place in June or July 🤔

Seeing green: Jane Fonda and Richard Perry seek $13 million for eco-friendly home
Music producer Richard Perry and actress Jane Fonda are readying for a scene change in Beverly Hills, listing their eco-friendly home of five years for sale at $12.999 million.
Tucked behind gates in the Trousdale Estates area, the four-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom house boasts clean lines, open-plan spaces and a glass elevator that services each floor. Beyond the eco-friendly double-glazed windows, motorized shades and bamboo floors, the home’s environmental features include photovoltaic electric panels and a solar-heated swimming pool.
The contemporary home, built in 1961 and since renovated, features a glass elevator, photovoltaic panels and a solar-heated swimming pool.

Other details include an updated kitchen with bi-folding doors that open to a terrace. An adjoining breakfast area has a fireplace feature built into the window.
Downstairs: a recording studio, a media room and a diner-style wet bar. A wall of gold records pays homage to Perry’s scores of hits.
A covered patio, a meditation garden and a viewing area lie within the nearly three-quarter-acre setting. Views extend from the canyon to the ocean.
The contemporary-style home, built in 1961 and completely renovated, was previously owned by Emmy-winning television director John Rich, who died in 2012 at 86. Perry paid $7.3 million for the home that year.
Jade Mills and Valerie Fitzgerald of Coldwell Banker Previews International hold the listing.
Fonda, 79, won Oscars in 1972 for “Klute” and in 1979 for “Coming Home.” She currently appears on the Netflix series “Grace and Frankie.”
Perry, 74, has produced albums for such stars as Rod Stewart, Carly Simon and the Pointer Sisters. He and Fonda started dating eight years ago.
It’s no Wisteria Lane
Actress and producer Eva Longoria, who gained fame on the series “Desperate Housewives,” has sold a home in Hollywood Hills for slightly more than $1.374 million.
The pink-hued Mediterranean-villa-style house sits up from the street and is entered through a gated courtyard.
Within the 2,011 square feet of living space are a formal entry, living and dining rooms, an updated kitchen and a bonus room. A circular breakfast nook adjoins the kitchen and takes in a view of the city lights through sets of arched windows.
The Mediterranean-villa-style home in Hollywood Hills has three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms in more than 2,000 square feet of living space.

The second-floor master suite has French doors that open to a terrace/sleeping porch. There are three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.
Longoria bought the house more than a decade ago for $1.15 million, records show. Jan Horn of Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty was the listing agent. Samanta Figure McMillin of Keller Williams Realty represented the buyer.
Longoria, 41, shared a pair of Screen Actors Guild Awards for “Desperate Housewives.” Her other television credits include “The Young and the Restless,” “Dragnet” and “Telenovela.”
More recently she served as an executive producer for the Lifetime series “Devious Maids.”
TV actor offers modern space
Actor Ty Burrell, who plays fictional real estate agent Phil Dunphy on the show “Modern Family,” has put his penthouse in Culver City up for sale at $1.398 million.
Found within Culver Centrale, a mixed-use development, the corner unit features custom fabric wallpaper, an updated kitchen with an island and balconies off the living room and master bedroom. Tall sliding glass doors take in city and mountain views.
There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms, including a master bath with his and hers vanities and a soaking tub, in 1,690 square feet of space. Two side-by-side parking spaces also come with the unit.
Whereas Dunphy might list the unit himself on the series, pocketing a nice commission/discount in the process, Burrell has tapped Redfin agent Isabel Velez to sell the property. He’s still getting a bit of a deal, though; Redfin will charge a 1.5% commission at closing, close to half the L.A.-area average.
Burrell, 49, has won a pair of Emmys for his role on “Modern Family.” His other credits include TV series “Out of Practice” and “Back to You” as well as the films “The Incredible Hulk” (2008) and “Finding Dory” (2016).
He bought the penthouse seven years ago for $865,000, records show.
Animator heads in a new direction
Film and television animation director Rich Moore, whose credits include “Wreck-It Ralph” and “Zootopia,” has bought a home in the Whitley Heights area of Hollywood Hills West for $2.11 million.
The Mediterranean-style house, built in 1998, sits in a small, gated enclave with a Moroccan-tiled swimming pool and spa, lawns and an attached two-car garage.
Inside, the 3,500 square feet of living space includes a living room with a fireplace, a formal dining room, a country-style kitchen, four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Arched doorways, coved and beamed ceilings and hand-painted tiles are among the interior details.
The Mediterranean-style home, built in 1998, features a country-style kitchen, a loggia and a tiled swimming pool.
(BHHS California Properties)
Balconies off several of the bedrooms take in views of the Hollywood sign and downtown L.A.
The property was listed at $1.995 million prior to the sale, records show. It previously changed hands more than a decade ago for $1.1 million.
Tim Swan of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties was the listing agent. Michele Downing of Partners Trust Real Estate represented the buyer.
Moore, 53, won Emmy awards for his work on the animated series “The Simpsons” and “Futurama.” He is co-directing the sequel to “Wreck-It Ralph.”
Sparring for a sale in Big Bear
A Big Bear retreat where boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya and mixed martial arts fighter Tito Ortiz once trained has sold for $1.575 million.
The wooded compound was designed by De La Hoya, who acquired the multi-parcel property in the late 1990s. The boxer eventually sold the retreat to Ortiz in 2007 for $2.1 million. More recently, the property changed hands two years ago for $1.5 million.
The compound that includes two log cabin-style homes sits on more than an acre in Big Bear.
(RE/MAX Big Bear)
Surrounded by tall pines on more than an acre, the compound includes a pair of log-cabin-style homes that combine to offer five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms in nearly 7,200 square feet of interior space.
Both structures feature knotty-pine paneling, stone fireplaces and antler chandeliers. Walls of windows and sets of skylights invite natural light while bringing views of the grounds inside.
Outdoors, there’s a putting green, as well as a footbridge that crosses over a running stream. A detached garage once used as a gym has parking for as many as four cars.

Golden Globes 2017 review: Politics take center stage on ‘La La Land’s’ big night
(CNN)As the first major awards show since Donald Trump’s election, the Golden Globes offered a record-setting embrace of the musical “La La Land,” but also a snapshot of the hostile atmosphere between the President-elect and the arts/entertainment community.
Meryl Streep delivered the biggest and most forceful broadside, using her platform receiving the Cecil B. DeMille career-achievement award to issue a powerful rebuke of the incoming administration and Trump himself. She spoke of Hollywood and the press as being among “the most vilified segments in American society right now,” before rattling off a list of fellow performers born outside the United States.
“If we kick ’em all out, you’ll have nothing to watch but football and mixed-martial arts, which are not the arts,” Streep said, to enthusiastic applause from the crowd, while taking Trump personally to task — without naming him — for mocking a disabled reporter during the campaign.
Presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the Globes have a reputation as a freewheeling affair, where booze flows and gaffes are embraced. What emerged overall, however, was tedious and dull, as NBC dispensed with any pretense of edginess by tapping its late-night host, Jimmy Fallon, to emcee the telecast, insuring there wouldn’t be any of those uncomfortable moments that, say, Ricky Gervais doled out in the past.
Given Hollywood’s liberal bent, such showcases have become closely watched targets by conservatives. And while Fallon’s few monologue jokes at Trump’s expense — including one comparing him to “Game of Thrones'” King Joffrey — were tepid at best, the otherwise drab show was punctuated by political moments that dribbled out over the night.
Hugh Laurie — a winner for AMC’s “The Night Manager” — wryly set the tone early on by dubbing this the “last-ever Golden Globes,” citing the poor outlook for something with the words “Hollywood,” “Foreign” and “Press” in its name under a Trump administration. Referencing his bad-guy role in the miniseries, he also accepted on behalf of “psychotic billionaires everywhere.”
In a more veiled gibe, the makers of the animated “Zootopia” noted that the movie’s message centered on embracing diversity, at a time when some would use fear to divide people. And “La La Land” producer Marc Platt offered a similar plea to find art “that unites us, now more than ever.”
Beyond the political speeches and “La La Land’s” record seven wins, the presentation hewed toward the sort of safe approach that provided little in the way of themes or clarity. Indeed, one of the more notable threads was that the audience seemed especially restless given the din that lingered after every commercial break.
Fallon opened with an elaborate and clever filmed “La La Land” parody, a preview of things to come. The primary suspense surrounded best drama, with the independent film “Moonlight” claiming that prize.
Still, the moments beyond the producers’ control will be what people remember, and Streep appeared to serve notice that entertainers who opposed Trump’s candidacy intend to capitalize upon such public forums to express their political views.
After the backlash elicited by a recent dearth of minority Oscar nominees, the Globes — which honor both movies and TV — also emulated the recent Emmys by featuring a number of prominent African-American winners. That list included not only “Moonlight,” but the FX comedy “Atlanta” and its star Donald Glover, Viola Davis (“Fences”) and Tracee Ellis Ross (“Black-ish”).
The winners were eclectic, diverse and in some cases, head-scratching. As usual, the relatively small body of international journalists who vote on the awards exhibited a not-so-subtle preference for European talent, including Laurie, Tom Hiddleston and Olivia Colman from “Night Manager,” Isabelle Huppert (“Elle”), “The Crown’s” Claire Foy and Aaron Taylor-Johnson for “Nocturnal Animals.”
The memorable bits were few and far between: Davis, a winner for “Fences,” connecting August Wilson’s play back to her own father; Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig amusingly bringing dour childhood memories into the animated movie presentation; and a too-brief tribute to the late Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds.
After the opening, Fallon largely disappeared. It’s hard to imagine “The Tonight Show” host worked up enough of a sweat to merit changing clothes.
The producers and network nevertheless got the efficient, mostly predictable night they obviously set out to provide. That left a Golden Globes that hardly lived up (or down) to its reputation, other than those few instances when the winners spoke from the heart.

Golden Globes 2017 review: Politics take center stage on ‘La La Land’s’ big night
(CNN)As the first major awards show since Donald Trump's election, the Golden Globes offered a record-setting embrace of the musical "La La Land," but also a snapshot of the hostile atmosphere between the President-elect and the arts/entertainment community.
Meryl Streep delivered the biggest and most forceful broadside, using her platform receiving the Cecil B. DeMille career-achievement award to issue a powerful rebuke of the incoming administration and Trump himself. She spoke of Hollywood and the press as being among "the most vilified segments in American society right now," before rattling off a list of fellow performers born outside the United States.
"If we kick 'em all out, you'll have nothing to watch but football and mixed-martial arts, which are not the arts," Streep said, to enthusiastic applause from the crowd, while taking Trump personally to task -- without naming him -- for mocking a disabled reporter during the campaign.
Presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, the Globes have a reputation as a freewheeling affair, where booze flows and gaffes are embraced. What emerged overall, however, was tedious and dull, as NBC dispensed with any pretense of edginess by tapping its late-night host, Jimmy Fallon, to emcee the telecast, insuring there wouldn't be any of those uncomfortable moments that, say, Ricky Gervais doled out in the past.
Given Hollywood's liberal bent, such showcases have become closely watched targets by conservatives. And while Fallon's few monologue jokes at Trump's expense -- including one comparing him to "Game of Thrones'" King Joffrey -- were tepid at best, the otherwise drab show was punctuated by political moments that dribbled out over the night.
Hugh Laurie -- a winner for AMC's "The Night Manager" -- wryly set the tone early on by dubbing this the "last-ever Golden Globes," citing the poor outlook for something with the words "Hollywood," "Foreign" and "Press" in its name under a Trump administration. Referencing his bad-guy role in the miniseries, he also accepted on behalf of "psychotic billionaires everywhere."
In a more veiled gibe, the makers of the animated "Zootopia" noted that the movie's message centered on embracing diversity, at a time when some would use fear to divide people. And "La La Land" producer Marc Platt offered a similar plea to find art "that unites us, now more than ever."
