in event of an emergency

* in the event of an emergency we'll proceed as always:

those whose calendar is full will strive to keep their appointments

those who've cleared theirs will seek to preserve that precious space.

for what constitutes an emergency

& what's just simply emergent blurs with the medium chosen

to view from the span of our circle of concern;

because massaged media makes mincemeat out of mountains,

meteors from mouse-sized mentation & motions;

it lays waste in haste of the way we'd place our attention

not to mention the notion & pace of the great paper race, it seems.

even seeping into our wildest dreams while we chase the elusive, & flee from the dreaded, the abusive - controlling when & where we're headed in a milieu wholly of our own making;

only to awaken, stirred & shaken slipping into a twilight zone

Emergency Poem Commissions

I recently became homeless due to an illegal eviction

My landlord locked the doors, threw my stuff out same day. I have picture proof, if one wants to see please DM because I don’t feel safe publicly posting too much about her because she has become aggressive / hostile with me. I do not feel safe coming to residence and have lost most of my belongings.

I am offering $5 poem commissions. I will write about anything you want, though my specialty areas are love poems and depression.

I need the money to replace art supplies in which she has kept from me (beads, basic primary colors of paint, a small travel paint kit ) so that I may attempt to make money to pay for the motel I now live in.

If you cannot buy, please please share.

I am homeless as of April 19; every day that passes me and my roommate (an ex i was living with who also was illegally evicted in the same location) lose hundreds of dollars to motel fees. I need to make it to early May. I start a new job Wednesday April 26th . 2023, until then I have no source of income as this whole ordeal cost me my former job.
