Zexal month day 7- The Emperor

There once was a king who could unite darkness with light, destruction with creation, growth with stagnation, chaos with order. The boy he had been had been raised to be a king, but he was born of chaos and darkness. As the people feared his might, feared that the king of chaos would lead them down destruction, the king proved otherwise, as before their eyes he showed his mastery of chaos and order. There once was a king with the power known as Zexal. But he was never allowed to be king.

There once was a man who was never meant to be anything more than an advisor, a minister. He grew up alongside his king, and forever was in his shadow, for his power could never compete with the boy born with a miracle, the boy born with Zexal. There once was a man with the strongest control over the powers of stagnation, creation, of order, a man who was never meant to be king, yet a man who was allowed to be king.

There once were two, a king of chaos and his servant of order. A king whose power frightened and threatened the stability, the traditions, a servant whose power pleased and upheld the stability, the traditions. There was a king who was not allowed to be king, and after him came the king who was never meant to be king.

This is based on an au of mine with more backstory and development of Astral World. In it, Don Thousand was the original Emperor of Astral World, and the one the Emperor's key initially belonged to. Eliphas meanwhile, while close to Don, was a mere advisor, and was never supposed to become the Emperor. However the elders in the court of the Emperor feared Don, as Don not only was born as a being of Chaos, but he could also bend Order to his will, for he was born with a miracle, a gift, known as ZeXal. His power was too great for them, so the elders chose a being of Order to take him down, and that being was Eliphas, who was tricked into betraying Don by forcing the chaos to overrule Don himself. His intent was to demonstrate how dangerous Don was to everyone, including Don himself.

Instead, he created the Monster.

And sparked off the war that led to bloodshed and darkness for many years, a war adults began for the children to end...

(Fun little facts: Don's in purple to symbolise how he is the rightful ruler as purple symbolises royalty, with a dark shade to convey his power. Eliphas too wears a darker blue however he wears a much paler robe under the top layer, which is to symbolise that he was never meant to be powerful, the power he exhibited was only external, like his dark outer robe. Don's sleeves are soft purple as a hint that he isn't fully hard, there is still a softness in him for something. Or someone...)
