Rapunzel and Eugene Drawing

This is kinda an old piece?

I wasn't a huge fan of it at first but... it's grown on me! So decided I'd share here too.

It started as just a study which explains some of the roughness but I did end up tidying it up a little towards the end so not sure how I'd classify it now!

{The only person that knows that Eugene has in fact died before (thanks, Gothel :T), is Rapunzel. He has a scar from where he was stabbed, between his ribs and his hip on right side of his abdomen. It’s not a particularly small scar, and it’s relatively straight, as it was a quick, direct action while he was caught off guard. It still aches sometimes, and he doesn’t like talking about it; he doesn’t like talking about that whole moment in general.

The only thing he’ll talk about in regards to that day in the tower, is that he cut Rapunzel’s hair and Gothel turned to dust as she fell out the window.

He’s told nobody else what happened, and if he ever does talk about it, it’ll only be if asked about the scar itself or if Rapunzel mentioned something about his death. Normally, if asked about the scar, he’ll make up some story or just lie and say he doesn’t remember since “you tend to get a few scars as a thief,” but if he is honest about it, then that means you’re someone he not only deeply trusts, but is comfortable enough around to be open with; no matter what, he can’t hide the fact that it still haunts him and that yeah, he’s afraid, and for him to drop his usual act in order to be vulnerable for a little bit isn’t easy-- unless you’re Rapunzel, of course.)}
