Newell vs De Lander vs Pandemonium (c)

Pandemonium had been nothing short of a fighting champion, and she was more then happy to bring the Stardust title to Effy’s Big Gay Brunch and defend it. Standing in the ring with Nixon and Steph, she gave them both a nod of respect. But Matt Cardona’s new friend was not going to let Pandemonium charm her way out of this. Quickly shoving Nixon out of the way, she and Pandemonium squared up. Pandemonium quick to react sent a sharp round house kick to Steph who quickly thought better and backed out to leave Pandemonium with Nixon. Who was all too eager to jump into the ring with the Stardust Champion, offering a handshake of respect to the to the champion they quickly locked up.

Nixon showing Pandemonium she wanted to hang when it came to chain wrestling and quickly flipped the champ off her feet with headlock take over. Pandemonium’s long legs wrapping up and coming around her neck and changing positions. Pandemonium now looking at Nixon allowing her try again by taking the champion’s neck and bringing her up to her feet. But Pandemonium takes the wrist and twists herself out of danger and takes control of Newell’s rest. Pandemonium and Newell getting into a bit of a chain and catch wrestling, it’s at that moment De Lander makes her presence known by kicking Pandemonium in the back who was in the middle of putting on a chain wrestling clinic. Pandemonium letting up and rolling onto her back trying to protect her neck.

Nixon on her feet quickly corned De Lander who had broken up a rather good contest between the two of them. Pandemonium soon followed and the two of them teamed up to work together. Steph into the ropes was able to turn using her size and strength and she brought both down to the ground with a double clothesline. Steph focusing on Newell in this moment brings her into the corner that was occupied by Pandemonium forcing Nixon’s weight into the champion before running to the two of them splashing her body onto the two of them.

Steph scooping up Nixon and bringing her down on the mat with a suplex, Pandemonium still recovering but she was no safe being picked up and dropped onto the mat as well. Pandemonium slipping out of the ring but De Lander knew enough about Pandemonium to not let her go unnoticed. Sending her back first into the apron of the ring. Before Steph could do anymore damage to her, Pandemonium digs her fingers into De Lander’s eyes and gets her back off. Angered Pandemonium gets struck down again she was going for one way trip to the ring post but Pandemonium is able to reverse. But you can’t stop De Lander and she brings her again into the apron. Pandemonium rearing her arm back she takes out not only Steph but Nixon who was coming to her aid. Newell hit in the face and rolling back.

Pandemonium into the ring tries for a quick cover —

 but Nixon kicks out and hits Pandemonium who was already unsteady.

Missile drop it, and Pan is covered.

1…2….

But the champion kicks out quickly. Again Pandemonium is getting woman handled now Nixon picks her up and drops her with a side suplex trying again for another pin

 Pandemonium kicks out again.

Nixon is on the offensive, but it’s quickly taken from her with a big boot from De Lander, but Pandemonium is now on the top rope Pandemonium twisting up and over De Lander hooking her neck and dropping down with the Law of Return. Pandemonium going to hook the leg to end it, but Nixon breaks it up. Pandemonium being taken by the hair to the corner but Pandemonium stops allowing this quickly. Reversing and firing shots, but Nixon turns the tables back on her but is cut off when Steph comes from behind and belly to back suplex’s Nixon leaving Pandemonium and Steph again.

Pan seems to be holding her own and Steph seems to be in trouble but out of nowhere it’s Matt Cardona who comes running around ringside grabbing the Stardust Title holding it up like he was going to take it.  Pandemonium having dealt with Cardona before is quick to LAUNCH herself over the top rope.  Hitting Cardona flush with a top rope suicida.

The belt goes flying but Pandemonium doesn’t notice, De Lander who grabbed the belt and is going back into the ring. Cleaning Newell’s clock with it going for the pin…this is how Pandemonium’s reign is going to end.

1..2…..THR—-

Pandemonium from the ropes comes flying in and landing on both Nixon and Steph to break the count. Rolling to her feet she comes to meet De Lander who is recovering, and Pandemonium quickly locks in the Neck Tie, Steph De Lander taps!

“HERE IS YOUR WINNER BY SUBMISSION, AND STILL STARDUST CHAMPION — PANDEMONIUM!!!”

Mania Weekend: Saturday April 2

Here we go with part 3 of my list of minor-league shows steaming live out of Dallas this weekend. (Part 1 is here and Part 2 is here.) I don't see any iPPVs scheduled for Sunday, so it looks like the Saturday shows will wrap things up.

I had a ticket to see one of these back in September, but I was exhausted and didn't make it out there. So this will be my first experience with the Big Gay Brunch. I assume most (if not all) of the competitors identify as LGBTQ+, so if you're into seeing more diversity in wrestling, you're all set. (If you're not into seeing more diversity in wrestling, fuck off.)

Oh, the former Fandango is on this card. Damn, I hope that leads to an angle setting up Effy vs. Fandango. I'd buy that for a dollar!

They're an indy based out of Columbus, Ohio, and that's about all I could turn up. Looks like there's a deathmatch on the card, but I don't know if the whole promotion is all blood 'n' guts or what. We'll find out!

BLP is Chicago/Northwest Indiana indy, which gets around a lot with these GCW Collective events. The show's name is in tribute to the late comedian Norm Macdonald, because indy shows just do stuff like that nowadays.

Depending on how late Wrestlemania goes, it's possible this show will start late to make sure ticketholders have a chance to get out of AT&T Stadium. So prepare for the possibility that you'll be up all night watching this thing.

Hello! I just wanted to clear up the whole thing about the Marko spot. I was in the audience and have the video of the spot that I personally recorded. Marko's mouth never came in contact with said dildo, even for a second. He introduced it into the match, Effy tried the spot, Marko squirted him with it. That's it. That's the entire thing. Again, I have the video of it if necessary. Also, Joey did NOT book that match or show. Effy did. It was Effy's Big Gay Brunch. 1/2

Got a new tattoo Saturday, had booked it last month and the tattoo shops aren't effected by rolling back to phase 2. Had thanksgiving at my parents, just us and then my sister and SIL were gonna come (last holiday with soon to not be SIL) but my sister called to say SIL had been at her office at the same time as someone who then tested positive for COVID soo SIL had to get tested and neither of them could come over just incase :(. So that sucked. We dropped food off though after we ate. I hope everything is negative cuz SIL is supposed to be moving on Sat... And obviously that won't happen if they have to quarantine.

Today has mainly been watching wrestling :). The For The Culture show, and Effy's Big Gay Brunch (that twink gauntlet tho lmao). Planning on watching Spring Break and Bloodsport as well.

Back to AI: The Somnium Files tomorrow, or maybe I'll watch more movies and work on my Stand for DnD xD.. I drew it and am colouring it 😁 .. probably won't need to next game but I'll have it ready haha.

Watched Ring 2 and Rasen/Spiral back to back to compare them as sequels (also praise remasters BluRay quality). I like the plot for the books so I actually think I like Spiral more than Ring 2. Either way both were enjoyable and I have Ring 0 to watch too 🙌

So I'm hanging in there and trying to not think to hard about having to submit another ei claim and my continuing unemployment 🤷🏻‍♀️ just keep distracting myself. Haha 😁

effy vs VENY

There was something special about this match that left audiences overjoyed when it was announced last week. 

The amount of responses wanting and hoping for this to be announced ever since Effy nearly had Veny for his first ever ‘Gay Brunch’. How comfortable people were with the idea of this happening compared to years and even decades ago. 

The atmosphere in the location changed as both of their music played, the overlaying of fans pulling out flags and signs made for them and the singalongs that assured as both of them played up to those who adored them, who inspired them, who simply just liked them.

They did this for them and for anyone else who couldn’t be there who wanted to especially.

But as they face each other in the ring the smirks from each of them spoke a million words that they wouldn’t allow themselves to say, but words wouldn’t be enough as Veny extends a hand to shake.

A first in many events for them before Effy responded by holding it gently in his grasp and kissing it, a blush flushing over Veny’s cheeks before they went to their respective corners.

                        Ding, Ding, Ding.                  Let the match commence. 

The match starts off easy, well more rather very playfully, as they both tried to reach for a start Testing of Strength on each other before backing away from one another, rinsing and repeating the motion.

Until Effy quickly swipes Veny down for a surprise roll up pin!

Looking at Effy with a strong glare he offered his hand towards her to shake and pull up to standing. She accepts the hand to stand up but is quick to deny the shake to replace it with a solid slap against his cheek.

The echo continues to keep fans on their toes.

The only thing that remains is a red handprint mark on Effy’s cheek.

Veny rushes into the routine of running the ropes, ducking, weaving and avoiding whichever chance they both got until Effy responds to the slap previous with a gigantic Big Boot across Veny’s cheek to put her down before roping into a Leg Lock DDT.

Transitioning into a simple Submission Hold and Veny wasn’t going to allow him to get away with this easy. Moving slowly but surely towards the bottom rope, they managed to get a rope break.

                   ROPEBREAK BY VENY!

So much for the fun of earlier…

Gathering themselves up and eager to continue they went on with running the ropes once more, the deja vu hitting them as Effy went for the Big Boot once again. Only for the Boot to be denied with Veny grabbing his leg and spinning him around before Drop Kicking him to get the pin.

Straight away the fists from both Veny and Effy start to play out as the crowd cheered for more, the lefts and rights absolutely destroying one another one way or another. 

But when Veny gets weak that’s when Effy steps up his game to perform a Step Up Enziguri on her for the count.

She was frustrated. 

Probably more than what she normally would be.

So Veny knocks him down a few pegs, stomping down on him to make sure he lies completely flat as she crawls up to the top rope. Steadying herself there she takes one singular breath as she attempts a Moonsault Press.

                             C L A S H !!

Only to have met the ring instead of Effy’s body as he now rolled out and onto his feet to do a Fameasser for the count.

                   KICKOUT BY VENY!

And all they can both do was just look up above them, the way the light glimmered onto both of them as the crowd roared like always.

A sight to see.

But the sight was overtaken by a quick wrap up into The Sleeper Hold by Effy, once again having Veny in all types of frustration.

She knew that she had to go big, she didn’t want to finish with a simple boot or a top rope move, she had to embrace something unique and something unlike many people have experienced her doing.

So she reverses Effy’s Sleep Hold to lift both of them back onto their feet and before he could do anything else introduced him to their own creation known as the Middle Finger Lock, causing him to quickly tap out as her middle finger was shown in front of his face.

And the ref called it as Veny quickly dropped Effy to the ring.

“Here’s your winner VENY!”

Before Effy could slide away Veny lifted his head lightly to press a kiss against his forehead as commentators expressed their confusion behind the action, “Veny has done this multiple times now beyond just Trent?”

Veny quickly slips away…

“Maybe this is their version of the ‘Kiss of Death’.”
