Education in Africa could help save us all.

Today, 40% of all Africans are under 15. Another 100 million children will be born here by 2050. With (good) education, young Africans can fuel a colossal powerhouse.

An important part of that power could be the skills, drive and determination to help tackle climate and environmental damage. It is time we all spent more time and money working out how to get good quality education into the parts of the world that have high birth rates and marginalized populations. The sticking plaster approach that has been used to date just isn't cutting it. Classrooms without teachers is not good education, poorly trained and absent teachers in not good education, schools without facilities is not good education. And yet this is exactly the type of education that international donors have been funding and calling 'education' for decades. It simply isn't good enough, and will not solve the problems that urgently need to be solved.

Iraqi MMA fighter aspires to become a world champion

Amir Albazi's journey to become the first Iraqi man fighting for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) may have been tougher than any of his bouts to date.

The rising talent in professional mixed martial arts (MMA) was born in Baghdad but grew up in Sweden, after his family fled Iraq to escape Saddam Hussein's authoritarian regime.

Albazi arrived in the Nordic country as a boy who could not speak a word of Swedish - and he experienced severe culture shock in his new surroundings.

"In school, I couldn't understand what people were saying, but I could tell they were making fun of me," he told the BBC. "The only way I could express myself was with my fists."

The 29-year-old said his world was transformed when, by chance, he found MMA on TV. It was love at first sight.

As a professional, Albazi is known by his ring name, "The Prince" - a translation of his Arabic first name. He now has almost 15 years of experience in the sport and wants to become the first Iraqi and Arab champion in the UFC's history.

"I feel a great responsibility on my shoulders being the only Iraqi in the UFC. I feel as if I am representing my country and the whole Arab world," he said.

Anyways, meet my two ocs! They're two twins who frequently get thrown into different worlds and have to figure out a way back home. It seems FPE is the next world they got transported into, this time fused together. Some teachers here aren't exactly... pleasant... they need to find a way out quickly, all the while acting like they belong in this world.

Alyx -> the white one (he/him). He's kind and polite, like an angel! He's the one who controls the body most of the time. Knows how to talk his way out of certain situations. Has good grades, and math is his favorite subject.

Xyla -> the black one (she/her). Nobody knows she exists. They think the black side is just a part of Alyx. Mostly dormant but will take over once in a while to protect Alyx or when no one is around. She tries her best to keep her existence hidden. Is more aggressive and daring than Alyx. Music and Arts are her favorite subjects.
