Dating Ecthelion Would Include...
Tumblr media
A/N: You wouldn’t believe how long I had this waiting to be posted along with the other Lords.
Tumblr media
➳❥ He is someone who follows the rules of the city and society and cares about how society views him, so he hates the idea of taking risks in public. With that being said when it comes to you, he’ll make the exception and break a few rules here and there and if anyone has anything to say they’d have cold-looking Ecthelion staring at them.
➳❥ He adores giving you gifts whenever the occasion calls for it or even if it doesn’t. It’s the way your eyes light up when he sees that you love your gift and how you don’t hesitate to throw yourself into his arms to thank him.
➳❥ You have the luxuries of experiencing a free performance as well as his latest pieces he composes as the ‘flute master’. You have the tendency to call him a charmer anytime he plays his flute since you are…charmed.
➳❥ He enjoys going for walks with you around the city, mostly in the evening when fewer people are walking about and to mostly avoid a certain golden hair oaf that loves to trail behind you two claiming that he feels left out.
➳❥ Dating Ecthelion means being around Glorfindel, Galdor, Egalmoth and Rog quite often and they are always quick to share info about the stoic lord with you. They’d share all the embarrassing things he’s done from small come all the way up till yesterday.
➳❥ You two are frequently invited to dinners and lunch dates by the other Lords since when you’re around he suddenly becomes chattier and more whipped, and they love to tease him about this. You’re going to find lots of invitations arriving at your doorstep.
➳❥ The two of you enjoy slow dancing on evenings in the confinements of his quarters, knowing that no one in their right mind would barge in and interrupt. It’s one of his most favoured peaceful moments with you.
➳❥ The first time you asked him to train you, you and everyone else that was around saw his hair turned grey at the thought of you fighting. He doesn’t like the idea and thinks of you fighting because why would you when Gondolin was safe?
➳❥ You may or may not turn to Glorfindel to ask for help which just makes Ecthelion combust and jealous and threatens Glorfindel to bury him if you return home bruised. He spends the entire time eyeing him like a hawk ensuring that he does slip up, when he could have been training you instead.
➳❥ After your first three training sessions with Lord Glorfindel, and praising how wonderful of a warrior he was, Ecthelion blew a fuse and changed his mind. From the next day, he began training you in the basics and helped you to work your way up in strength and skills.
➳❥ At least with him as your beloved, you get the opportunity of a lifetime to have unlimited access to his fountains as your swimming pools. If he doesn't join you, drag him in by pretending to drown and watch as he becomes the epitome of a wet cat.
➳❥ He’s someone who didn’t realise that he would enjoy cuddling so much after hearing the activity being something popular couples perform. The first time you two cuddled, he literally melted into your embrace like a puddle and refused to depart from your arms.
➳❥ Hates to admit that he turns into a baby during cuddling and would launch into battle mode if anyone interrupted his pampering moment.
➳❥ All his kisses are done in private, and you can’t fight him to change his mind. Man is just stubborn. That’s something you’d have to learn how to deal with when dealing with him as well as his propriety-like behaviour. He won’t hesitate to give you a little scolding here and there. You’d probably have to tell him to loosen up a bit (A lot).
➳❥ You also get the opportunity to witness his drinking abilities with the other Lords. It’s the one time when he was unrestrained and would perform non-Ecthelion acts. Cue him and the other Lords skinny-dipping in his fountain while you look on ready to blackmail him with the info in the future.

Ecthellion's Sister Reader
Tumblr media
Genre: Fluff and feels
Summary: You weren't supposed to leave...
AN: To all the siblings who have endured the bittersweet pain of separation. (Also Ecthellion as a pouty baby is an adorable image in my head)
Tumblr media
Tucked away in the nook of his balcony, Ecthellion gazes far into the horizon. The same direction that you had left.
His mother and father were now tired of fretting after their youngest, who had given up on eating. He just stood there in his balcony. Waiting for you to return. His elder sister to return to him.
None had told him that the celebrations of your wedding would be succeeded by the gaping agony of your absence. It had come as a surprise, when instead of returning to your room next to his, you left.
And no matter how much he begged for, none helped him find you. Perhaps for the elders around him, his yearning was an adorable childish tantrum.
How would they know the chasm in his heart. The anguish that leaves him incapable of moving from the balcony that looks in the direction you left in.
How was this fair? Why did they have to take his sister? Why couldn’t your husband move in with them? Ecthellion for the thousandth time, wiped away the tears that flowed down his cheeks. Were you here, you would have consoled him long ago. And by now, bickered with him ten times.
He misses you.
His elder sister. The one whom he has known since the day of his birth. The sister, who begged for a sibling. The one who claimed him to be her gift. How…how could you leave him?
Was he not a gift anymore?
Clutching the flute you loved in his hands, Echtellion perches on the railing. You weren’t done teaching him yet. He barely knew the notes and the teary hiccups made it harder.
Why in the blessed realm of Valinor, does his heart hurt?
“Come back…come back,” he repeats tearfully. He is past the sulking tantrums. All that is left of grief is the sweetness of longing.
And then in the blink of an eye, he is snatched off the railing into a tight embrace. His arms wrap in a hug and tears come back with great fevor. You were back. Hugging him as the trail of your own tears flowing freely as you pick him up.
The crumpled letter in your fist that goes unnoticed, contains the words from your mother. A gentle plea for your brother, who seemed to have taken a hit from his sister’s departure to Valmar.
A just a glance at the letter had been enough to rush back to the streets of Tirion. A canceled honeymoon and a frazzled spouse in tow.
Tumblr media
"Aww, you were absolutely adorable!” You wink at your husband as you both continue grilling the dignified scholar, your brother now claimed to be.
Memories of past still fresh in your mind and heart. “Ah yes love, of course I remember leaving Valmar like the sky had collapsed and a baby ecthellion,” he giggles noticing the bashful look on Ecthellion’s face.
“You were such a lovely brother,” you squeeze his cheek which is rewarded by a swat, and mumbled ‘I was not’.
The sight of a sobbing, dispaired Ecthellion had felt like the gravest sin of your life. A burden heavy with the weight of his abandonment. A sin, your mother’s letter saved you from.

Y/N singing in the halls of mandos.
Y/N: OHHHHHHHHHH who drowned in his own fountain?
Glorfindel, pointing at Ecthelion: This. b!tch. right. here.
Ecthelion:
Ecthelion: Well at least I didn't die because of my hair.
Glorfindel:*gasps*
Y/N,hugging Glory: what the hell is wrong with you, you know he is very sensitive!
Glorfindel, nodding: hmm hmm
Ecthelion:
Ecthelion: I'd drown myself on purpose if I weren't dead already.

Oh my god Ecthelion you’re so kind to help me out!!! I didn’t expect that. I was thinking like, “wait a second, this guy is solving my problems now? Gold star!” Bend down so I can give you a kiss on the cheek, my love
Tumblr media
Confusion set upon his brow, and soon his entire face followed, with an exhale, he gingerly bowed to grant you his face. “I must say, I am unsure of what I have done to warrant this thanks. Nonetheless, I am thrilled to learn that my assistance has been of great usage.”

What would elves do if you spilled a drink on your dress?
Tumblr media
A/N:Hi everyone, this is my first headcanon, I really hope you like it.<3 This idea came to my mind by casually reading other headanons but I think it could be nice and original, in short, something different! (English is not my first language but I hope I wrote in the best way).
Situation: We are at an important party full of elves in a large decorated hall. You accidentally spilled the drink on yourself and you don't know what to do but your elves help you to deal with the situation.
Glorfindel=the blond elf would be the first to notice and he was about to laugh when your expression of sadness and fear about the judgment of others changed his expression. He took a drink off the table, came over to you quickly and spilled it all over himself to make it look like it was his fault: “sorry honey,” he said with a smirk. He turned to the elves he was talking with, saying he would take you to another place to change. Once you get away from everyone, you would both laugh together and realize how lucky you are to have him.
Ecthelion= You had just spilled your drink because of a high elf, who had bumped into you; compared to everyone you were quite short and you were sure that sooner or later someone would have bumped into you but you didn't think it could get you into that mess. Echtelion, who was talking to Duilin turned to ask you if you wanted something to eat but as soon as he saw you in that situation he took off the blue cloak he had around his shoulders and used it to cover you. Then he walked with you to the nearest bathroom so he could help you fix that. "I can't leave you alone for a second". His fake angry voice drove you crazy. You approached him and gave him a kiss on the nose. The elf immediately blushed but continued to clean your dress carefully.
Maedhros= oh boy, this elf is gorgeous. As soon as he saw you wet in front of a whole group of high elves he blushed and immediately thought how pretty you looked trying to dry your dress with a handkerchief. You were so small compared to them that you looked like a helpless child. Fingon, who was with you two, brought him back to reality and invite him to do something to help you instead of standing there because he was starting to look like a maniac. After the embarrassment caused by his cousin, he took you to a room used by those who worked in the castle, sat you on a table and began to dry the fabric with a cloth very calmly. "You do not say anything?" you asked him. “What am I supposed to say,” he replied. "Why are you so red?". He hadn't realized it but he was still blushing from the episode that took place in the hall. He started using the cloth faster, so much so that you had to tell him to slow down or he would break your dress. You both started laughing and after a kiss you went back to the room, with Fingon's satisfied look near the drinks table.
Celegorm= let's be honest, Celegorm could easily laugh in front of everyone at the scene if he wasn't really in love with you, but I'm sure this elf's heart can be won too. In case you were the lucky one, he would have the opposite reaction: he would not try to throw all the attention on you but to act as if you didn't exist. He would look at the elves he was talking with and, after a laugh at the end of the speech, he would walk away taking you by the arm and making his way through the crowd. “You are incorrigible” he would tell you as you walked down a long corridor with irony. He tried to deny it but he loved this side of you
Galdor (warning: anxiety reader) = the sweetness made in person. As soon as he saw you anxious about the stain that had created on the dress he turned to you and asked in a low voice if everything was all right. At your positive answer he reassured himself and very calmly accompanied you away from everyone. The tranquility was only apparent because inside he was afraid you would feel sick with embarrassment; it was an important party and he knew how much you wanted to make a good impression in front of everyone. Once alone he helped you eliminate the stain and you stayed a while together talking about all the lords you had met making huge laughs that put your good mood back. Then you two went back to celebrating. Galdor was proud of you and how, despite your fears, you were able to face all those people head on.

Protective Ecthelion
Tumblr media
Request: Protective Ecthelion as a request!!!! He’d make such a great protector high key— And plus I bet it feels heavenly to be in his strong arms 😍 He’d make you feel so safe, you’re his baby lol.
A/N: Absolutely! I was happy to do this for you! I hope you enjoy anon! :)
* * *
⫸ Ecthelion is a very responsible and logical elf, always unafraid to take charge and make sure things go smoothly and accordingly.
⫸ Everything he does is methodically planned out and Ecthelion isn’t afraid to shoulder any extra responsibility especially when that responsibility pertains to you.
⫸ You’ll find that despite all the logical things he does, when it comes to you, Ecthelion is pretty protective over you.
⫸ Even if it might be illogical, considering you live in a very comfortable and safe space such as Gondolin.
⫸ But before Gondolin, Ecthelion worried constantly about you going off and doing things without him, as he feared that something bad would happen to you.
⫸ So Ecthelion, not taking no for an answer, taught you how to both wield a knife and a sword.
⫸ Sword first seeing as he wanted you to be able to fight off opponents that might be bigger and more scary than you would even want to try and imagine- like Orcs in the event you run into them on your outings outside of Nevrast.
⫸ When Ecthelion was able to go with you ever was he on watch, listening to everything attentively, watching your surroundings and keeping close to you so he could be right there to keep you safe.
⫸ Though there have been times the two of you have gotten caught in an attack, and Ecthelion was quick to step in front of you and shield you from the harm that was coming right at you both.
⫸ It took him no time to dispatch those who intended to harm you, before he brought you into his arms in the aftermath to hold you close and console you.
⫸ When you two get to Gondolin, despite it’s safety Ecthelion still worries on occasion that something bad could happen to you despite knowing that you are safe and sound in it’s walls.
⫸ He knows it is illogical, but he doesn’t relent on those feelings, simply masking them from any prying eyes and keeping it to himself.
⫸ Ecthelion, because he’s so protective over you, doesn’t do well with the rumors or ill spoken words aimed at you even if they seem harmful.
⫸ First he will try and get to the bottom of these things and find out whose been saying such crushing words.
⫸ He grows very stern as he hears these things from others no responsible for starting them, and advises them that it would be in their best interest to refrain from continuing to spread such lies and rumors to be hateful.
⫸ It’s not often that Ecthelion gets so stern, so when he does its enough to keep wagging tongues stilled and not keep on their gossiping.
⫸ When he finds the person that has been causing all the trouble, Ecthelion makes sure to reprimand them strongly with the promise of exposing them would be imminent if they refused to stop.
⫸ He’s an ellon true to his word and is happy to dole out his threat the moment it is broken.
⫸ You’ll always be safe and protected when you are with Ecthelion, no matter what it is that you might facing; whether it’s an orc or the ill words.

Blindfolding - Ecthelion x fem!Reader!!
KINKTOBER 13: BLINDFOLDING - ECTHELION x FEM!READER
Spice level:  🌶️🌶️ (fairly mild. This is pretty fluffy due to Ecthelion being Ecthelion).
MINORS DNI
Ecthelion ties the strip of fabric like a promise. His fingers are swift and the knot is sure. His fingertips dance over the place where the hem meets your skin and he asks:
“Is it too tight?”
You shake your head. “No. It’s perfect.”
You can’t see a thing. Ecthelion has drawn the borders of your world for you in silk, soft as sin, blocking out everything, everything for the next few hours.
(For it will be hours. Ecthelion likes to take his time).
His lips are warm as he kisses the seam of your shoulder, then drags his mouth along your neck to suck at your pulse. You push back into the touch. For now this is all there is: the place where skin meets skin, his mouth against your heartbeat, his hands as they skim your stomach and hips, his chest — you push back against it — solid and safe as a seawall.
“Breathe,” he says in your ear. “Just breathe.”
He rests his palm to your chest and coaches you to suck in air, to push up into his palm and then to cave back, back, back against him when you let out your next breath. And again: in. And again: out. Until the air in your lungs forms a circle. Until your heart is steady. Your head light. And every single touch is magnified a hundredfold.
Ecthelion has a way of doing that: of transmuting time to honey, thick and slow and sweet. He lavishes your neck with his kisses, nips at your jaw, breath hot in your ear.
When he dips his hand between your legs, you sigh, letting your head fall back against his shoulder.
“That’s it, meleth,” Ecthelion whispers. “That’s it. Don’t think.”
Don’t think.
He makes it easy. He knows how to play your body with the same ease and skill as he can play his flute. You gasp when he pushes two fingers inside of you and curls, fucks in, out, lets you gush around him – his pace is somehow rhythmic while never actually catching on something that you can come on, never touches you in the same way twice, has you guessing, wondering, wanting, begging—
He croons in your ear when you beg. Shushes you. Tells you yet again: don’t think. Just feel.
He nibbles at the edges of the blindfold, runs a hand over your chest to swipe his thumb over first one nipple, then another, then guides you — gentle and slow — to lay back against the mattress.
When he settles over you and rolls his hips, he’s hot and hard against your core. You whine, canting up blindly, seeking him, and Ecthelion just chuckles, fond and syrupy, and dips to kiss the hollow of your throat.
“Mine?” he asks against your skin.
You melt against the mattress, hands coming to anchor on his chest. Here, in the sweet darkness Ecthelion’s fashioned for you, he is solid and sure. A guiding star against the velvet-black night.
“Yours,” you agree.
Ecthelion sighs, content, lines the head of his cock up against your waiting heat, and finally, finally sinks home.

fandom tolkien- the silmarillion
a/n hope you like it – she/her Pronouns used!
Tumblr media
You tidied up your tiny apartment the best you could — your lovers would be here soon.
You ran a hand through your hair — stressed about the stubborn stain that won't come off the floor.
Maybe if you stood over it— would it miss their eyes?
Glorfindel the oblivious loveable oaf — would miss it.
It was your other lover you were worried about.
Ecthelion.
He was an ellon of pristine standards.
When they suggested to visit you tiny apartment — you were scared.
A few months into courting — and it was customary to invite the one you were courting to your home for tea.
You tried to push it out for as long as you could.
Worried the minute they saw your living condition — they would leave you.
You had cried yourself to sleep last night.
You had already visited their homes— Lords of high power and status.
They had everything — you were almost drooling over their aesthetic and artistic homes.
You wished you had marble floors and high ceiling— with a lot of extravagant and exquisite decorations.
But you had to be grateful with what you got.
Even if it meant — laying on the ground — or crouching over your stationary as you worked.
The knock on the door made you jump.
You sighed and made your way to the door.
Already giggling at the sound of Ecthelion scolding Glorfindel — for knocking on the door hard.
You quietly opened the small door— you were nervous.
You tried not to tap your feet so hard on the ground.
"Melda!"
Glorfindel bellowed and pulled your into a crushing hug.
"Would you let her breathe?"
Ecthelion grumbled — he quickly untangled your from Glorfindel's arms and kissed your hair.
"You look beautiful, meldanya. . ."
He whispered.
Glorfindel sneakily — pecked a kiss to Ecthelion's cheek.
You giggled and Glorfindel quickly send you a kiss too, when Ecthelion — with a little blush on his face — pulled away from you.
The small space suddenly made Ecthelion feel— . . .very crowded.
It was then— he looked around— suddenly alarmed.
You gulped seeing the horror in his eyes— you held back your tears of heartbreak.
Would they leave you now?— seeing how much a low class elleth you really were?
"Where are your furniture?"
Ecthelion looked at you — he looked puzzled and horrified.
You shrugged.
"Elenya. . .— this is how you live?" (My starlight).
You nodded at Glorfindel — biting back your lips from quivering.
"Why didn't you tell us?"
Ecthelion stressed— he grabbed your shoulders.
He looked alarmed and ashamed of himself.
"This is. . . — this is, how I always lived. . . — before Gondolin I had it worse. . ."
Both your lovers — were shocked at your answer.
"No!"
Ecthelion declared.
He looks at the lack of space and furnitire, splintered wood, and peeling wallpaper in disgust.
"You are no longer living here— no one deserves to live like this!"
"I agree with him— no one does deserve to live like this— unless you're Morgoth himseld and you're clearly not him, melda."
the anger and determination on Glorfindel's eyes surprised you.
He was always carefree and daring — in fact you had never seen Glorfindel look very stern like Ecthelion.
"It's really alright-"
"No, Y/N— I would allow you to live like this!"
"Let us provide for you!"
They said — leaving no room for argument.
"Where will I go?"
At that Glorfindel smirked — and Ecthelion had to roll his eyes at him— but he didn't rather not like the idea.
"You can move into either one of our houses — or there is small place the three of us can share. . ."
Ecthelion suggested — he hoped you would choose the latter.
"I would love that. . ."
You smiled.
He nodded looking around again— how could you not tell them?
Both Ecthelion and Glorfindel felt guilty — they thought you lived in a better establishment.
You didn't even have furniture and it broke their hearts.
All the exquisite work you did — you were on the ground doing them.
You back must be killing you.
They lived in luxury — while you lived in this damp.
They should have asked — they should have known.
It was disrespectful — how could they let live in this condition?
Without knowing — they failed at your lovers.
You had been courting for 11 months — they never thought to ask.
Ecthelion cleared his throat feeling his eyes wet — he suddenly felt so useless.
Glorfindel felt like he failed you.
You looked at them with a confused face— your beloved ellons looked ready to cry.
"We are sorry, elenya. . ."
"For what?"
"We should asked — it was selfish and foolish of us not to ask you. We lived in luxury— while you —our dearest, lived like this. . ."
Ecthelion vaguely gestured to the tiny apartment space.
You blinked in confusion.
"Thel. . . Glorf. . . My life isn't your fault. . .this is how I had to live. . . None of this is your fault. But now— it gave us an excuse to move in together."
Your loves nodded — and you quickly pulled them into a hug.
You wrapped your arms around them— and rubbed their backs comfortingly.
Your lovers felt like they failed— but they were wrong.
Instead they gave you a home— a place of safety and love.
It wouldn't be just four plain (crumbling) walls anymore —you would be with your lovers in care and in love.
They gave you the best thing possible — you felt blessed.
You had a home now. . .
They were your home now. . .

Imagine being a mermaid and falling for Ecthelion
Tumblr media
(Sorry that it took this long. I was having hard time deciding which elf to take for this exquisite request. Hope you like it,)
Requested by anonymous
Warnings: Angst, mentions of drowning, dehydration, abandonment, starvation, near death experience, lack of voice, fluff, romance and more angst
----------------------------------------------
- It all happened quickly.
-You were peacefully swimming under the sea of Helcaraxe, not bothering anyone.
-The surface dwellers then arrived, walking upon the ice.
- You watched them with curiosity, hearing voices and many footsteps. They couldn't see you, so you decided to follow them around.
-You concluded from the language you heard that they were elves from Valinor. What were they doing so far from the blessed lands?
-You then noticed the elves were going to cross through the frail ice, a trail with ice too weak to hold anything above the surface.
-You tried to decide if you should warn them, but it happened quickly, and you saw many elves falling through the breaking ice.
-You wanted to help somehow, so you used your powers to create an underwater stream to lift them back toward the surface and warm them from the cold. One of the elves was limb and couldn't swim up, so you swam up to them to help them.
-The elf has got paralyzed from cold, so you gently took hold of them, preventing them from going deeper into the freezing abyss, which would kill them.
-You checked for signs if they were still alive, and luckily they were.
-You looked at the elf for a moment. It was a male elf with a pale complexion and hair darker than the abyss. You couldn't help but stare because he looked mesmerizing.
-You then remembered he was cold, so you touched his face with your palm and warmed him up with light.
-After a moment, he opened his eyes, and you saw a pair of beautiful blue eyes like blue gems of the sea.
-They were beautiful, but then you remembered that he needed air or he would suffocate thanks to you, so you quickly swam him up toward the surface.
-You helped him break through the surface but avoided being seen by his kin, who quickly helped him out of the freezing water.
-You heard the golden-haired elf call him Ecthelion. It was a lovely name and sounded nice on your tongue.
-Thanks to your magic, most elves recovered and continued their journey through the grinding ice. You decided to follow out of curiosity.
-The elf, Ecthelion, had caught your attention. You were not sure why, but something about him fascinated you.
-You wanted to see more of him.
-You watched over him during their journey, watching and listening from the shadows of the water and ice.
-It was then when you heard him sing and fell in love with his voice and how he played his flute to soothe his family and friends. It was like the sweetest sound you have ever heard, like a bird singing beside the glistening waters.
-You did not realize you had interfered with something meaningful and that you should not have helped them.
-You did not see it coming. The water suddenly took hold of you and took you away from Helcaraxe. It whipped you around, and you couldn't find control with your powers. It was like the whole sea suddenly turned against you.
-You then hear the voices telling you what you did was wrong, and you will get punished for interfering. You were scared and confused, so you tried to call out and ask what you did wrong.
-The water pushed you away, and it wasn’t long before your lungs suddenly started to fill with water. You were horrified to find out your quills were gone. You had no choice but to go to the surface to get air.
-You had broken through the surface, coughing and crawling onto the beach.
-When you got safe, you were horrified to see your tail dividing into a pair of legs, so you desperately tried to call out to the sea and know what you had done wrong.
-You only tried to help elves in their direst need. Why are you being banished for it?
-It turned out futile because the next thing you noticed was your lack of voice. Your voice was gone.
-You cried, trying to scream, but nothing came out, and the sea gave no answer or explanation for your sudden banishment from your home.
-You couldn't do anything but cry in gruesome silence.
-Two nights in a row till the sun and moon was born. You had quivered among the rocks, hidden from the creatures of the land and despairing of your punishment.
-You were shivering with cold and hungry. You didn’t have anything but an old sail you managed to salvage from a shipwreck to keep you warm.
-Walking proved to be a gruesome task. You couldn't find balance, and your new feet hurt like thousand needles were prickling you. The best you could do to move was crawl on your four through the sand and the rocks.
-And the worst feeling yet. No one came for you.
-You heard nothing from Osse, Uinen, or any other maiar of the sea. You didn’t hear the calls of your sisters even though you have been gone for a long time. Even Ulmo was silent.
-No one came or even suspected a thing. Have you done something so horrible that you deserved to be abandoned by everyone?
-No word or song could describe the pain and heartbreak you felt.
-You sat there among the stone, hugging yourself. The starvation and lack of water finally got to you, and you couldn't keep yourself in touch with reality. What was the point? You have never been on the land. You knew nothing of it.
-You have never walked before, and your feet hurt when you tried. You’ll be good as dead.
-It would have been nice if fate would have allowed you to hear Ecthelion’s voice and the music of his flute. It would have brought you some peace before you perished.
-You were almost gone when you suddenly heard voices and saw shadows moving around the beach. You snapped back to reality when you heard them talking to you. They had found you and asked something you couldn't make out with your current state.
-You would have tried to answer with something, but your strength finally failed, and you lost consciousness, falling into a dreamless sleep.
-The next time, you woke up in a strange place, wearing clothes and bandages over your cuts and wounds caused by the time you survived on the beach.
-You met the elves, who tried talking to you and asking about your predicament.
-It was hard to say anything because you didn’t have a voice, so you tried to tell them some way that you could not speak.
-They seemed to understand, which gave you relief, then you met Ecthelion again.
-He came to check on you as he was one of the people who found you on that beach. It was a bit unsettling because you wanted to talk to him before, but now you couldn't, and you never really wanted to meet him like this.
-He seemed to understand your situation and kindly offered a place for you among his people since you didn’t have anywhere else to go. You accepted the offer since it was a hard truth, and you saw a chance to interact with the one who stole your heart.
-It was challenging to adapt since you couldn't properly walk. The elves brushed it off as one of your injuries. Even though it was strange that you seemed to have forgotten how to walk.
-You didn’t dare to mention anything about being a mermaid since you were just an elleth without a voice or past. Maybe because your abandonment still hurts, so you tried to accept your new identity now.
-In time, you managed to get the hang of it, and your feet didn’t hurt much as they did before. You managed to learn how to enjoy the feeling, and you couldn't help but admit running was kinda fun.
-Ecthelion seemed to take some interest in you as you sometimes ran around and watched things with an awed expression like you were seeing things for the first time in your life. It was a strange sight, but he kind of enjoyed it.
-You had such innocent curiosity. It made you feel even more mysterious and odd.
-He had a strange feeling about you like he had met you before, but he just couldn't point out where or when.
-Talking to you was complicated at first since you couldn't talk. You understood what Ecthelion was saying, so that was easy, but trying to answer was challenging. The best you could answer questions was with a nod and a shake of your head.
-Glorfindel, his enthusiastic friend, decided to help him communicate with you and bring you along to get closer since he seemed interested in the mysterious maiden of the shore.
-Ecthelion felt embarrassed and, most of the time tried to prevent Glorfindel from bringing you into anything dramatic.
-However, thanks to his blond friend, Ecthelion ended up growing a soft spot for you and enjoys spending time with you alone when he needs a break from the real world.
-You didn’t talk much but enjoyed listening. You always had a soft smile whenever Ecthelion decided to play his instrument. It always filled him with content.
-After settling down in Gondolin, you decided to stay in his house and decided to be a gardener as you found enjoyment with flowers and fruits. Their scent brought joy, and you often fed the swans and birds whenever they relaxed in Ecthelion’s fountains.
-Dwelling around the fountains, playing, and dipping your feet in the water became a habit since it brought some comfort and eased the pain of your longing for your home.
-You missed being able to swim through the seas and playing with the turtles and dolphins. You missed singing with your sisters and the warmth of your home. You missed being able to sing.
-One thing that remained was that you can still do magic, but you hardly used it because it just brought the memory of the sea and your former life.
-You missed the sea but couldn't bring yourself to forget what had happened and how you got abandoned for something you didn’t purposely do.
-You learned what Ecthelion’s other kin had done, and since he and Glorfindel belonged to the same group, they also were banished from the blessed lands.
-You were not supposed to interfere with them, which is why you got banished. However, you didn’t deem it fair because you didn’t know back then.
-You couldn't bring yourself to blame Ecthelion and his kin because after living with them for so long, you learned to love them. At least they didn’t abandon you as willingly as your family did.
-You and Ecthelion managed to get closer than before. You often spent time together at one of his fountains, where he often talked about things and sang while you listened with a smile.
-Glorfindel sometimes invites you along with laughs and jokes while making Ecthelion embarrassed on many occasions. You enjoyed those occasions since Ecthelion was more open and relaxed than in the court, where he held an uptight and calm appearance.
-You were not much into social events but couldn’t bring yourself to refuse whenever Ecthelion invited you as his date for the night. You always felt shy because your heart would pound faster than a horse, and since Glorfindel tended to start how you might be together, making it a bit embarrassing.
-You were not together, to your sorrow, but you hoped it might change soon since you began to suspect Ecthelion might feel the same about you.
-He sometimes showed a gentler attitude toward you than many others. He started giving you less vexing work and sometimes looked nervous around you. You even received a gift of two, things you once showed interest in but couldn't buy due to money.
-He sometimes scolded you for suddenly jumping in or swimming in his fountains, but you never received a punishment. He did offer to make a private pool for you to swim around since you were more like a fish than a breathing elf.
-He even brought you new seeds to plant in your garden. He said you might like them, so he got them for you, which made your heart beat like crazy.
-You didn’t want to be straightforward, so you went to Glorfindel to confirm your suspicions.
-You were ecstatic at the discovery and fought the urge to confess your feelings for Ecthelion right away since you have been in love with him for years. Your magic almost made bubbles fly with your emotions, and Glorfindel was laughing. He said it was about time.
-It was a peaceful night, and the moon was out. Ecthelion has asked you to walk to the gardens with him. You were nervous but highly anticipated the moment.
-You two stopped at a fountain, and Ecthelion started speaking about how things had changed and how he had changed before he then confessed having feelings and if you allowed him to court you.
-A burst of emotions flared within you, almost sending you to tears, but you managed to hold it in and sign with your hands to tell him yes.
-He smiled and brought you into a tender kiss. You poured all the love you had for him, and it felt like you felt his soul for the first time. It was warm, and you did not realize it had brought back what you had lost long ago.
-You always had thoughts, but this time, you said beautiful with your voice.
-It was a shock to you and Ecthelion. You were joyful beyond tears, and Ecthelion couldn't almost comprehend that you just spoke but found your voice beautiful none of less.
-You couldn't hold it in, so you spoke to him for the first time in ages and told him the truth of your past.
-Ecthelion was shocked to figure out you were a mermaid and the one who saved him from drowning that day, but he soon got it together and finally made sense why he felt so connected with you, especially when you held your warm palm against his face.
-He did not feel angry about the reveal. He embraced you, and you two sang together under the star night.
-You were happy. It was like the world was finally kind to you.
-Glorfindel was shocked to hear you speak for the first time, but he celebrated none less.
-Everything was well. You began singing in the gardens, bringing joy to those who heard your voice and the singing of the birds who sang with you. It had been hundreds of years, so of course, you couldn't keep quiet.
-And with Ecthelion on your side, you couldn't be happier.
-Until your past decided to come back as well.
-It was another calm night. You waited for Ecthelion in the garden, softly humming a song he once wrote for you.
-A shadow had risen from the depths of the fountain, then you heard someone calling your name. It was one of your sisters.
-You were confused with her appearance. You knew some of the fountains were connected to underground rivers and waters, so your sister most likely used them to get inside the city, but why was she here?
-You would have been happy to see her, but you could not brush off a feeling something was going to happen or something you would not like.
-You talked with your sister for a moment, catching up after hundreds of years. It felt normal for a moment until she came up with an outrageous offer or an option, confirming all of your fears.
“You…” You stared, stepping away from the fountain. “You can’t ask me such a thing!” You said, barely controlling your emotions. “Not after hundreds of years!” You stated with a loud tone.
“(Name), we understood your banishment was a grave misunderstanding since you were not aware at that time of what the Noldor had done,” Your sister said, leaning against the edge of the fountain. “And yet, I was cast out without hesitation,” You said. “Do you have any idea what it was like?!” You asked. “I was forcefully taken away, forced to go on the land with legs I had never used before, and forced to remain silent, which felt like the rest of my life,” You said almost in tears when you remembered that day. “And no one told what I had done wrong to deserve it,” You added.
“I almost died from cold and hunger. I could not find the strength to try to live because of the despair that forced me to go through,” You explained, then pointed. “These elves saved me before I died, so I owe them a lot,” You said. “Where were you when I needed you the most?!” You asked, almost yelling. Your voice almost shook the earth, and the water quivered.
Your sister looked at you with shame. “(Name), I wish I could fix what happened in the past, and I believe you went through a lot after being banished from the sea,” She explained. “A lot, you say?” You asked, tears glistening in your eyes. “My voice got taken away, and you know better than anyone how much I loved singing,” You said. “It was excruciating to be silent all the time,” You added, holding back angry tears.
You took a deep breath. “Ecthelion, the one I talked about, my beloved, he was the one who returned my voice. Thanks to him, I can speak and sing again,” You said. “He sounds wonderful,” Your sister said. “So, how can you ask me to leave him behind and forget everything just to go home?” You asked, looking at her in the eye. “This has been my home for the past hundreds of years, and suddenly you come back and ask me to abandon them,” You said. “Or stay here and forget about ever being one of the maidens of the sea,” You added the latter option.
“Do you truly hate me that much?” You asked. “Of course not! Please, it was a terrible mistake, but things are different now. We all missed you terribly, and lord Ulmo is willing to help you if you just come back to us. If you don’t, you will be forever bound to walk upon the earth, losing your magic and becoming an elf,” She explained. “So, please, come with me. Come back home to your family,” She said, almost begging.
“But what happiness will I find when my heart is here?” You asked, shedding tears.
“You don’t belong here. You’re not an elf. You are a mermaid, one of the maidens of the sea. And it was the Noldor’s fault you got here in the first place,” Your sister said. You stared at her in bewilderment and rising anger. “Leave,” You said.
“What?” She said. “I said leave!” You yelled, your voice shaking the earth and creating cracks on the walls. Your sister flinched at the strength of your voice. When things calmed down, she backed away from the edge.
“Fine. I will leave for now. You have time to decide until the next full moon, then you must have made your decision,” Your sister said before submerging and vanishing from sight. You almost fell to the ground after making sure she was gone, shedding tears after tears.
- You tried to dry your tears but couldn't stop thinking about the options your sister had presented you. Leave Gondolin and reunite with your family in the sea, or stay and become an elf.
-It was hard because you longed for the sea but didn’t want to leave Ecthelion and everyone you held dear behind. If you leave you might never see him again like you never saw any of your family till now.
-For someone like you, it was an impossible decision.
-You tried to dry and collect yourself since it wasn’t long before Ecthelion would come and possibly help you forget the whole thing with your sister. You can’t break his heart that way.
-However, someone in the corner had already heard the whole thing.

Lords of Gondolin | With A Musician Reader
Tumblr media
Request: hi mina how have you been? i hope you’re doing ok c: i was wondering if you’d write a scenario about human!reader showing off her greatest musical creation to the elves? it’s a piano they’ve spent a decade workshopping & building to perfection. readers also made middle earth versions of the upright bass, acoustic guitar, & cello. they plan on making more instruments cause it’s their passion and how they want to be remembered by. for the lords of gondolin - @dicksoutformtl
A/N: I’m doing just fine! It was fun writing this request know that all of them would be impressed at reader’s craftsmanship. Enjoy!
Tumblr media
.𑁍༊˚ Galdor
Galdor is thoroughly impressed by your craftsmanship in creating new and improved versions of some of the instruments they already have while crafting newly discovered pieces as well.
He would have known you were into the musical arts, hence why you were always playing or composing a new piece every few weeks. However, what he had never suspected was a entire batch of new instruments being presented to him.
He is enthralled and eager. While some instruments may not be a favourite to his ear due to the sounds they emit, you can bet he’s informing you of some upcoming festival where you can show off your creative talents.
Galdor is a proud elf Lord who would happily talk about what you’ve created to the others and recommend you to the King to play your pieces at balls. He wants everyone to be aware that you’ve made inventions and they’re groundbreaking.
There are moments when he’d sit around and listen as you explain to him how you created each piece and the inspiration behind them or watch as you play songs on them.
It touches him when he becomes aware of the purpose of your collection of paper in the corner of your room. They were all songs written to be played on these instruments about how much you like or care about him. He’s touched and appreciative.
Tumblr media
.𑁍༊˚ Ecthelion
The musical master is too stunned to speak as he enters your humble abode and notices all the new “classical” instruments lying about. Ecthelion’s curiosity gets the better of him and he can’t help but strum the strings of the bass and cello, or press the keys on the piano and gasp at the new pitch echoing.
He becomes aware that these are not instruments that exist in Middle Earth and bombard you with a million questions. “How did you make this?” “Where did your idea come from?” “What inspired you?” “Who are you really?”
Ecthelion probably assumes that you’re not normal to come up with all these instruments since the Valar would have created their instruments for them…so are you a Maiar or Valar in disguise?
You will be followed around until you answer all of his questions with responses that tickle his brain the right way. And be prepared for him to request if you two can now play duets at festivals and balls. He wants you to be the musician couple.
Ecthelion will show you off, more than Galdor and some of the others because he’s proud and wants everyone to know how talented you are. He doesn’t care if the other Lords comments that you’re more talented than him, he would simply acknowledge and say, “Yes!”
And not to forget, he’s making sure that your name gets recorded in the history books as an important figure in music. He’s even more proud when he realises that you’ve outdone musical protégé like Maglor and Daeron.
Tumblr media
.𑁍༊˚ Glorfindel
There is not a person without a ten-mile radius who hasn’t been alerted by him of your musical genius abilities. Even Lord Elrond would be shaken aggressively as he is being told about your creation. “Y/N has reinvented the world of music! There is no one as great as them!”
Goodbye Lindir or Ecthelion, hello to Y/N, the new musical protégé of Gondolin or Imladris. Get used to being announced at dinners or balls to play your newest pieces and having Glorfindel looking like a proud dad (if he had a camera, his look would be completed).
Anytime you’re making a trip to your music room, don’t go without Glorfindel or else he’ll barge in all grumpy, complaining that you forgot him. He wants to be present at each new masterpiece you’re making, whether it be a new instrument or song. He likes watching the look of concentration as you play each piece to conclude which suits the song best.
Be noted that he’s curious, so he is bound to touch the piano or cello and gasp as the notes ring out. I can see him being drawn towards the guitar and requesting that you teach him. I don’t know, but Glorfindel playing the guitar suits him (idk if it’s just me).
Cue Glorfindel wanting to join you whenever you’re playing and the guitar can be included. He’ll happily sit beside you and strum away lightly while you play the piano or violin.
Like Ecthelion, be prepared to be announced/talked about by Glorfindel any chance he gets. He’s not rubbing it in anyone’s face, simply expressing how proud he is of his little human creating instruments that “change everything”.
Tumblr media
.𑁍༊˚ Egalmoth
Most proud of them all, however, he’s torn between wanting the world to learn about your skills and also keeping them hidden so he alone can know this secret and cherish it.
A bit stingy sharing your talents with the rest of the world because they should be for him to enjoy and praise. He does complain when people don’t praise you enough and encourages them to be louder.
I don’t see anyone surpassing him in terms of being the biggest cheerleader. This elf considers himself blessed to be around such a gifted person (you’re more gifted than his friends in his eyes). You’re a miracle worker creating new instruments unheard of or reinventing old ones.
He wants to learn about your pieces even though he doesn’t know about music deeply, he would to be told everything. Don’t worry if it sounds all foreign to him, he’s understanding.
Egalmoth would inquire if you would like more materials to make more instruments because he understands that it’s your passion. He would even ask if you would like to open up a school to teach others.
Like the others, he would request that you play at dinners when the Lords come over or if the King is hosting a dinner party. Might get annoyed if someone wants to collaborate with you because you sound great on your own.
Tumblr media
.𑁍༊˚ Rog
This craftsman is enthralled, amazed, excited, and proud of your creation. You made these instruments all on your own! Rog cannot cease talking about how you designed and crafted all the instruments by yourself. This is one of the rare moments when he's talkative nonstop.
You’ve got one of the great blacksmiths hooked on your inventions and wants to know the process you took to create each piece. He’ll be teary if you mention that you used some of his instructions during his days of teaching you basic material crafting.
Learning more and more that everything was done on your own and you spent years making each puts a type of ride in his heart that’s unshakable. If you show him how each piece is played, Rog finds himself whipped and ready to boast.
It’s strange seeing the quiet blacksmith boasting and talkative, and it’s for good reasons, you. All the Lords know, the citizens know and the King as well. Very soon, you’ll be having a hearing with the King who was intrigued by your new inventions courtesy of Rog cheerful chattering.
Rog doesn’t mind whether you choose to play privately or publicly, the choice is yours and he’s pleased with either decision. He wants you to be comfortable, but he would ask if you could play him a piece so he could experience the beauty of your creations.
Tumblr media
.𑁍༊˚ Maeglin
Curiosity caught his attention for a great purpose and it led him to discover new things worthwhile. Maeglin is enamoured and his curiosity is piqued tenfold. Questions rattle off the top of his head about all that he’s seeing and how did you manage to think about creating these pieces.
You’ll be seen as someone highly skilled and great in his eyes because you’re out here reinventing the world of music, something the elves are passionately known for.
“Can I come to watch?” “Can I sit and listen?” “Will you play for others to see what you’ve made?” He will stand in the doorway as you play your pieces and write songs suited best for each with a sense of pride in his chest. You’re a part of his House and creating all these great inventions to make a name for yourself. How could he not be pleased?
Definitely another one who would recommend you to the King to present your showstopping performances during balls. Whether you play with the orchestra or sole, Maeglin is supportive.
You’re Maeglin little songbird who he wakes up to playing your piano or guitar on the balcony or in the drawing room. You provide him with melodies that allow him to melt in and drive his tension away.

Elves Reaction to a Mythical S/O
Tumblr media
Request: I saw the “ Feel free to request “ in the bio and I wanted to ask if you could write something like a Mermaid!Reader Or Fairy!Reader headcanons with Maedhros Celegorm Caranthir Glorfindel and Ecthelion? I would appreciate it <3
Characters: Maedhros, Celegorm, Caranthir, Glorfindel, Ecthellion
AN: Took some creative liberty with some of these but I hope you still like them. Also, the way I got carried away with Celegorm is not real. I hope you like it and thanks for requesting this! (Divider by @cafekitsune)
Tumblr media
Celegorm- Celegorm lay wounded, his lifeblood seeping into the quiet forests of Beleriand. Beside him, Dior's lifeless form grew cold, devoid of the light that once animated it. As he awaited his inevitable end, Celegorm allowed himself a moment to embrace the surroundings. The scent of damp earth, the gentle rustle of leaves in the air, and the murmurs of the horrified trees—all of it reached his senses, and even in his pain, he found solace in these simple pleasures. He dared not contemplate his fate, for whatever awaited him was yet unknown. Suddenly, a subtle thrum of activity surrounded him, a buzz that reverberated through the forest. Even the trees whispered a name he couldn't grasp. And then he smelled it—the sweet, cloying scent of decay. It was reminiscent of rotting grapes, withering to produce wine, or overripe fruits dissolving into the soil. "Oh, look what they left us this time—one still alive," your voice chimed like a symphony of bells in Celegorm's pain-addled mind. From his blurred vision, Celegorm observed as flowers bloomed beneath your every step. And then, you stopped right in front of him. "Help," he managed to croak, and you laughed. Mirroring your laughter, Celegorm felt a surge of mirth course through him, even as his blood continued to flow excessively. "Ah, my pet," you crouched down, and Celegorm instinctively leaned into your touch as your fingers grazed his cheek. "Should I truly save you?" You tilted your head innocently, your silver-hued skin shimmering in the dappled sunlight. A crown adorned with sapphires rested upon your head, complementing the brilliance of your sparkling eyes. "Think carefully," you whispered with a playful smile on your lips, and Celegorm became captivated by their allure. "A bargain with the fae is no trivial matter." As a sharp pain invaded his mind and body, Celegorm's gaze lost focus. Your talons, sharp and unyielding, grasped his wound, prying it open further. Despite the agony coursing through him, Celegorm found himself nodding, his voice barely a plea, "Please…". “Alright, then elf,” in seconds the wound that you had pried open closes and Celegorm stares in disbelief as his skin stitches itself back together under your touch. By the time you are done, there rests a brand where Dior’s sword had once impaled him. Your brand on him.
Ecthellion- Long ago, in the Ages of the Trees, Ecthelion had felt the weight of the ocean, a burden he carries with him even now. However, it is not the brine of the ocean that floods his lungs, but the water of his own fountain, leaving him gasping for breath. The misery he experiences now seems more profound than the incident of his childhood. Back then, he held onto hope that someone would come to his rescue, and indeed, you had come. Through the darkness, you swam with your shimmering green tail, and in your arms, you cradled a young Ecthelion. That single act had been enough to ignite his fascination with Alqualondë, drawing him to its shores in search of glimpses of you, the mermaid familiar with the Teleri's realm. Admiration had blossomed into love as Ecthelion fell for his savior. But now… hope has faded. Ecthelion finds it harder to believe in the possibility of a rescue as he drowns in the shallow waters, mere feet from the depths of the ocean. The day he departed the bloodied shores, he shattered any chance of your care. He knows you would not spare a thought for one who sided with the kinslayers. “I wish I had left you…I wish I hadn’t saved you,” the echoes of your final words haunt his ears, replaying over and over as he envisions your tear-stricken figure on the ravaged shores. Even as he draws in the water, he feels his own tears mingling with it, his heart heavy with regret.
Caranthir- Caranthir sighed in frustration as the thread snapped once again, the fifth time within the last two minutes. "Will you please stop already?" he exclaimed, giving up on the futile game of searching for the elusive cause of his thread's constant breaking. Finally, he looked up towards the branch where you sat, a mischievous grin playing on your lips. "Oh, me?" you replied, feigning an expression of shock, vigorously shaking your head. "How could I have possibly done anything from wayyyy up here?" Your playful act may have fooled others, but Caranthir, after years of knowing you, remained unconvinced. Caranthir's frustration simmered as he contemplated your mischievous presence on the branch above. His impulse to chuck a rock at you was quickly suppressed, knowing it wouldn't deter your playful nature. But you weren't oblivious to his internal struggle. With a dramatic flourish, you folded your wings, mocking innocence evident in your eyes. "Oh, look at you," you taunted, your voice carrying a blend of seriousness and amusement. "What did a poor, dainty little fairy do to you? I hope all your needles break and all your threads end up in a tangle." Despite the biting nature of your words, a glimmer of mirth danced in your gaze. Tired of your antics, Caranthir abandoned his position and began to make his way back. But before he could take more than a couple of steps, he felt a familiar weight land upon his back. Your arms encircled him, and your head rested gently on his shoulder. His hands instinctively moved to support your legs, preventing any chance of you slipping. "Forgive me," you whispered softly, your fingers idly playing with his braids. Caranthir didn't utter a single word in response, but the way he his hands securely supported your legs on each side spoke volumes.
Maedhros- Maedhros found himself engulfed in a sea of grief, his heart heavy as he watched his father burn the ships that were meant to aid their kin. The weight of witnessing his father's gradual descent into darkness, coupled with the burden of blood and oath, had taken its toll on Maedhros. The shores were ablaze with the burning remnants of the ships, and amidst the chaos, he discovered you. Your countenance was hidden beneath the veil of long, flowing hair, but one striking feature remained exposed—a majestic teal tail that identified you as a creature of the sea. Lying on the shore, your body bore the scars of burns, rendering you unconscious and vulnerable. Drawn by an invisible force, Maedhros knelt beside you, gently parting the strands of hair that obscured your face. In that moment, he couldn't discern whether it was love or lust that gripped his heart, but he found himself rooted to the spot, unable to tear his gaze away from you. As he pulled you from the water, your tail transformed into naked legs, signifying a profound change and a bridge between worlds. Draping his cloak over your form, Maedhros carried you to the sanctuary of his tent. With tender and feather-soft touches, he applied a healing paste to your wounds, his eyes fixated on your closed eyes. In that intimate exchange, he felt an indescribable connection. You belonged to him, bound together in mind, heart, and soul, intertwining with his own unguarded being. When the following morning arrived, you awakened, your memories of the past washed away like wet ink fading on a page. A new dawn emerged, and the eldest Feanorian rejoiced. For in your rebirth, he saw an opportunity to offer himself to you completely. The sea had dared to separate him from his home, his mother, his people and so he took away something precious from it. Something he keeps a secret even as he hangs from the cliff of Thangodrim. You are to him as the Silmarils were to Feanor. Even in death, Maedhros' spirit would follow you as you traversed the world, your past forgotten in the depths of ages long gone. You were his eternal companion, a tether to a forgotten era, forever intertwined in the tapestry of destiny.
Glorfindel- "Do you truly think Asfaloth's bells are better than mine?" you ask, your figure delicately balanced on the balcony as you fix a piercing glare upon Glorfindel. He finds himself in a predicament he never anticipated, caught off guard by your sudden confrontation. "It's not a matter of comparison, really," the Balrog slayer tries to deflect, hoping to avoid further conflict. However, you refuse to let him off the hook so easily. "Oh, really? Because if I recall correctly, your past romantic odes were filled with praise for the sweet chimes of my own bells, not those on Asfaloth," you remark, plucking at the tinkling bells adorning your anklet to emphasize your point. "These bells carry the essence of my magic, and yet, you hesitated. You faltered at Elohir's foolish question." Glorfindel winces, inwardly cursing Elrond's son for inadvertently causing this current predicament. Stepping closer to you, he channels his sweetest voice, accompanied by a subtle loosening of the top buttons of his shirt. "Melda," Glorfindel begins, his voice tender and sincere, "there is truly no comparison. Even Asfaloth's bells were born out of the days when I pined for you." He gazes into your eyes, a soft smile playing on his lips, as you instinctively reach out and fiddle with the buttons of his shirt." Is that true?" you inquire, a hint of vulnerability lacing your voice. Glorfindel nods, relief washing over him. Crisis Averted for now. He would make sure to apologize to Asfaloth tomorrow.

How does it feel like to be ancient, Ecthelion?
Tumblr media
Feeling as though he was about the suffer a stroke, he swivelled, nearly snapping his neck in the process and glared. “I beg your pardon?! Ancient? I'll have you know that I may thousands of years old, but not ancient. I'm youthful and beautiful, alright.”
