I'd like to take a moment to appreciate how incredible Echo is

When Wrecker had to go to the far end of the compound and turn on the breakers (Jurassic Park feels, anyone? He even had to PRIME the handle), that left Hunter, Crosshair, and Echo to deal with the wyrm, while Omega was ready to flip the switch for the perimeter fence. Now, normally, Crosshair would be their eyes in the sky, taking the tower and covering them from up high; but he can't because of his twitchy hand. Without missing a beat or embarassing Crosshair, Echo immediately volunteered to take the high vantage point to call out directions - good thing, too, because Cross can barely hit the broadside of a barn as he is right now.

As a strategist and a leader, Echo has come so far. The way he mediates conflict, encourages the team, guides Omega, and keeps them focused on the mission "here and now" is remarkable. He has all the best qualities of Rex and Obi-Wan. I'm just so proud of him.

One of my pet peeves about the Batch's design is the fact that they made them look so old. They are supposed to be (biologically) 22-24 during the war. And yet they look like they are 45 and are about to go through a mid life crisis.

*Side note* thats not specifically a star wars thing. They have been doing that since the beginning of depicting war on film. Pretty much throughout history the main fighting age has been 18-25. (American wars, Idk about other places) But no one really wants to watch young boys get blown up and shot, so they cast handsome, grisled middle age men to play them instead. Easier for audiences to digest and accept. So I dont really blame the designers for that, but I digress. (thats a whole ass other post)

Anyway, I mainly wanted to do this for my own personal reference for future drawings. I tried to edit them so they still looked like they belonged in the animated series. (i love this show so much and want to be true as i can but also c'mon, some of these design choices hurt me)

the divergent au is funny to me because if cole ever sees the ninja again they're going to see him accompanied by a) pythor, one of their worst enemies b) morro, another one of their enemies and c) zane's long lost brother. it would be so much chaos

The best part is that this happens when they're invited to Vania's coronation after Cole's group goes through the events of MoM. So Cole is Too Tired for all of this and Pythor's Too Old for all this bickering and nobody's happy with anyone. Vania is trying so so hard to keep the two groups from running into each other when she first finds out the ninja were invited and It Does Not Work.

Chaos ensues.

ANOTHER LIST REGARDING AUTISM: How different sensory input affects me, 5=least 1=most

5- Sight: I don't get overstimulated by visual stuff virtually ever. like i see all those things that are like 'Eye strain!!' and it never does nothin. Only time it ever affects me is when i'm already overstimulated from something else... or bright lights. bright lights get me. cannot stand those things.

4- Smell: Ngl, im not a 'deep breather'/i forget to breathe on occasion (very often), so smell doesnt affect me a ton, but when i do remember to actually process what the air around me smells like, i really only start to get overstimmed if its a bad smell. i've asked multiple teachers in the past to move me away from certain kids just based off smell. good smells are alright tho, like im chill walkin into a bath n body works or lighting a couple scented candles

3- Touch: if its a bad texture (scratchy, those weird blankets that look like sheep wool, unglazed pottery, flour, etc) i cannot deal w it. if its a good texture (silky stuff, this certain type of mud i make where i sift the dirt so that its smooth, fluffy sand) is aight.]

2- Taste: I have always been known as 'the picky eater'. kinda difficult to avoid spicy foods since i live very close to mexico, but i still do it. unfortunately leads to me having very light meals for breakfast n sometimes lunch since theres not a whole lot thats a win for all 3 of the ones i just listed- smell, texture and taste. taste is most important tho.

1- Sound: YES i am one of those people who plugs their ears after flushing the toilet or while running the blender or vacuum cleaner. I have vivid memories of me as a kid running downstairs and grabbing my dad's heavy duty noise-cancelling headphones that he normally wore when using power tools, just to block out the sound of the freeway near my house. this one also has to do w some trauma regarding a lot of yelling n banging n loud music, so that also plays a role.

i remember when people were saying mewtwos inclusion in the genesect movie felt random and pandering to the gen 1 crowd that was uncommitted bc this wasnt even movie 1 mewtwo, and i dont think anyone says that now but wow i think they were wayyyy off the mark there lol. mewtwos the perfect choice for them that couldve existed at the time and she made for perfectly good xy teasing too

Confident everything, present and so, so, distracting all the way up to a resting scowl that lightened around the eyes when he looked at her.   She’d never seen Robin’s eyes.   It was extremely easy to divorce a single bummed cigarette on a rooftop from this and now, and how badly she wanted to climb inside that sweater and take a bite.   Which was not a thought she should be letting herself have, much less so goddamn loudly.   Jason just quirked one dark brow at her, before silently and smoothly elbowing a mug of tea her way. A perfect smell- a taste already, fondness, like fresh steeped Assam.   Elle hid her smile in a sip, and wondered what her surprise tasted like.   Empathy was inescapable, but manifestation was a scale. Color, touch, sound, taste- a mouthful of gold, a mouthful of joy, a mouthful of Jason, silent and bafflingly, completely pleased by Eleanor sleepily drinking tea he’d made her perfectly.
