god i remember the episode of ecc where general skarr smokes a giant weed joint cigarette so vividly. when the scene came up where he lit one up and took a bigass suck of it i thought “general skarr is so cool. i want to be like general skarr one day and suck on all the weed joint cigarettes and watermelon red bulls i want.” and when i told my mom about the super cool thing i saw on tv she got really mad and i couldn’t watch cartoon network anymore :(

Yeah Grim Adventures & Evil Con Carne were originally a conjoined show called "Grim & Evil" both would eventually splinter off from each other but it seems clear there was more love & freedom in Grim Adventures than there was in EcC so it got canned with the characters (mostly Skarr) being absorbed into Grim Adventures.

As a note I am not professional and only speak for my own experience 💋

Part of OCPD is that person is demanding of themselves and try achieve perfection in their job, hobbies, etc. I feel Skarr has that going on at ECC and TGAOBAM. He wants to be great villain with great achievements, be a good neighbour and work hard on his beautiful garden. Still it's never enough for him and Skarr would do anything to achieve the greatness he wants in his life.

Skarr is control freak so he can do things his own perfect way. He doesn't only require perfection from himself but others too.

He follows rules and protocols even he hates them. For example, he hated his job as general but never quits. He also hates the jobs he was assigned as civilian. Still he comes back for more awful jobs because there isn't open position for great villain at employment agency. He could start his own villain organisation or something but he is so focused doing things by the book that he cannot achieve what he wants.

These are couple things that came to my mind 🎃

I just realized while watching ECC, I noticed that Skarr has a pudgy tummy at time when he’s shirtless. I never knew Skarr was chubby! ^^

i saw someone say general skarr from tgaobam / ecc is like a human version of squidward from bob l'éponge. and i mean it feels a bit flanderizing but i feel it's also kind of unfair to squidward. i don't really think they're comparable because even though squidward is a neurotic self-important cunt who does insane shit under duress he's still a pretty normal person not entirely unlike someone you'd meet in real life. part of general skarr's gimmick in evil con carne was that he had pet pigeons which he fed by swallowing bird seed and regurgitating it into their mouths
