Anyone else ever feel more pressure AFTER pulling a close friend into a small fandom?

Like, I don't run self-critical with my writing, I let the muse take the wheel and don't even check for typos before I post, but apparently talking one of my besties off a ledge by baiting her with a shiny that has minimal overlap with her recents has screwed up my writing. Yaaaay.

Alright y'all, the goal is to enjoy things this year / break out of some of my creative-interest ruts, and I think I present myself clearer here than elsewhere, so... what should I be reading/watching?

I'm actively looking for fic bait here / new sandboxes to play and create stuff in. The core interest remains roughly-fortysometing creatively-functional high-commitment marrieds, but I could be talked into things beyond that. Pretty aesthetics are a plus (I will take sci-fi over fantasy over period drama but if there's an adventurous costume budget I'll at least LOOK); anything with subtitles is a slight negative (I watch stuff while knitting / eyes aren't always consistently on the screen) but wouldn't necessarily rule out for that alone. The aversion to mega-fandoms remains / I like small but existent niches (if there is literally one fic in existence for the thing and it's not my possible interest ship... no).
