Demon AU. Humans can’t distinguish angels and demons from regular people. They just look the same, only odd part being the fact they don’t seem to age to any regular person.
Angels have six wings, halos are usually worn as accessories and are used as tools for their jobs, and they have eye markings somewhere on their bodies. In low light they can look kinda freaky, blood being gold, scars having a gentle white glow, eyes seeming to stare into your soul. In normal lighting they’re just kinda funky, dark they look like they’re ready to steal your soul. They all look pretty similar, giving off a bit of a sterile and clean look, trying to seem overly “divine”.
Demon horns are unique to each, they never stop growing and are treated like hair, being styled different ways and having great effort out into maintain it. Asides from horns, demons kind just go buck wild with how they look. Their traits are determined by the work they do, the kind of person they were in life, and just general vibes. Plus, when you stab them their blood is like staring into the void, drowning out any light that touches it.
So, as to how the main Adamandi crew look
-Portia dyes some of her feathers pink and wears her halo as a ring, it’s easy to access and not too gaudy, just plain and simple. She changes her clothes as time goes on, and finds enjoyment learning new styles of the era. Her eye markings are along her arms.
-Ambrose is the exact opposite, he keeps great care of his wings, wears his halo as an actual crown, and his eye markings are along his spine. His clothing stays pretty much in the jock category of each era, mostly sticking to some variation of t shirt and jeans, spicing it up with a jacket on occasion. Dude just somehow looks homophobic in every time period lol
-Quincy is different, only having one set of wings from having given up their role as an angel, now just kind of chilling on earth with Vincent. Their two other sets slowly fell off over time due to them giving up their power, their glow is lesser than other angels, and they’ve got their eye markings on the palms of their hands. Quincy’s halo is a ring on a necklace, but they don’t really use it anymore. Quincy has worn some variation of a sweater over a button down with a bow tie since the 1930s and hasn’t changed it much lol
-Vincent has horns that look kind of like a mountain goat’s, he used to have long twisting ones, but started shaving them down so they wouldn’t poke into Quincy when cuddling. Their main traits are very weasel, having claws, a weasel tail, patches of fur, and fangs. The fur turns white in the winter, and they gain streaks of white in their hair, because Vincent is weasel coded. Generally just a critter. He wears a lot of long jackets, button downs, unholy abominations of pattern combinations, greens and browns, and he likes to change up his wardrobe ever decade or so.
-Beatrix, just look up a Jacob’s sheep for the horn reference. They’ve got a mix of lion and owl traits, having claws, a long tail with fluff at the end, bits of feathers sprinkled in the fur, and having funky yellow eyes that are kind of creepy to look at for too long. Beatrix kind of just wears whatever can be found in the men’s section of a thrift store, so just perpetually looks a little out of style.
Beatrix is supposed to give off “I could totally kill you” vibes, but be completely quiet while doing it because that’s how cat paws work, while Vincent had the weasel thing of looking like he couldn’t kill anything, then just absolutely tearing it to shreds.
Feel free to make edits to these, these are just concepts.
thank you anon i will bring great fortune to your bloodline

Hey! I found this blog while looking for cosplay tips
I'm going to start making my first ever cosplay soon, so I'm looking for some tips!
I'm hoping to thrift as much of the outfit as I can but I'm guessing I'm gonna have to alter a lot.
But of course I have to choose a character with so many details. . . (I may simplify)
Anyways, any tips for this character? If you wanna look into him more it's Martin from Rune Factory 5 but I have refs all around
Tumblr media
Hello there!
I love to see that you are doing Rune Factory cosplay!
That said, some parts of this will be very easy to thrift and modify, and others will need a little creativity and perhaps sacrificing of accuracy. I'd suggest something with fewer armor details for a first cosplay, but that's still doable with some work.
I'm coming at this from the angle that you are thrifting due to both skill level and budget.
From the top:
The grey shirt will be quite easy. Find a white or light grey ribbed shirt or sweater, cut off the sleeves and sew the edges so they don't fray. If you got a white shirt, check the fiber content -- I'd recommend a natural fiber like cotton -- and dye it to light grey. Use the cutoff sleeves to test the dye.
If you can't find a sweater with ribs, you can get one without the ribs and sew with a twin needle to fake it.
The vest is going to be difficult to get from a thrift store and alter due to the shape. You MIGHT be able to get a blazer or vest in the correct color and alter it, but that would probably be more difficult than making it from scratch.
If altering: remove the sleeves. Cut off the lapels and the collar. Cut open the front to the correct shape, and add the side dart to fit it, as well as fitting from the side seams.
If making: Alter a pattern to have the correct front opening shape, do a mockup, and take it in to fit.
Either way, you will need to sew on the brown leather portion and then line the vest. You can add the straps yourself by sewing them out of the same fabric as your vest.
The apron is easy -- simply take a rectangle of fabric, hem it, and sew a strip of fabric onto it so you can tie it around your waist. For the pockets, I'd do patch pockets and glue on fake rivets (painted googly eyes, anyone?). The zigzags can be done just with topstitching.
For the pants, you can buy the widest leg pants you can find, paint on the stripes, and take in the bottoms. You can use the excess fabric you cut off the length of the pants to create the cuffs.
For the armor, look through our website for armor tutorials -- I'd recommend foam for budget reasons.
Good luck! This will be a challenge to thrift most of, but with some mods, you can probably get something close enough.

hehe time for more about my beloved Ace O'Spades:
she kicked off as a musician in the 80s when she was 23 (fresh out of uni)
she's singapore-born but moved to the US to study, and eventually migrated to live there for good
Ace is afab and gnc!! but she doesn't use that word to describe herself. she doesn't like putting a label on her gender and sexuality, and when asked about it she often dismisses it with a funny answer. she once said that she likes to think she's a big messy pile of every gender.
she picked the name "Ace" because she felt drawn to it, and her last name "O'Spades" solely because she thought it'd be funny to connect her last name to her first name
she has a bass named Andromeda!! she bought it with her own money when she was 17 and it means a lot to her
she has a bachelor's degree in art history
she's known for her bright pink hair and undercut. she dyes all of her hair except for the undercut!
she is married to someone named Nikolaus Haas, but Ace calls her Niki
the drawing i posted is meant to be a casual picture of her from 1984! that is how Ace dresses normally, her cropped sleeveless shirt being a trademark. she usually wears that along with bright patterned pants, her crust pants (which were also considered a trademark during the beginning of her career) or a skirt!! in more formal settings (like interviews), Ace liked to wear the brightest patterned button ups, or a simple shirt with a patterned tie.
most of her music starting out was all her. all the music and lyrics were written by her, and if she could help it, performed by her too.
as a result a lot of her early music featured mainly synths, guitars, drums and bass. the drums in her songs were usually simple and easy since she was self taught and not very good at it
she's mainly a bassist too, so she tends to go a little crazy and silly when writing basslines
eventually made a few friends and found some connections and got herself a band!! she's been playing with the same people since (except for her drummer who unfortunately passed away in 2001)
her songs are usually humorous and comedic, as Ace believed more than anything in "spreading joy, at least in one person". but she has quite a number of songs written about herself and her struggles too
she has one ep that are made up of five previously unreleased songs written about herself. three of them were written a long time ago, but she decided not to release them because she felt no one needed to be brought down by her own struggles

What's acid wash? And how does one acid wash? I am once again gleaning at your etsy store and marvelling in the cool things there
Thanks! To answer your question...
"simply, acid washing is the process of purposefully exposing various types of clothing to chlorine bleach (though muriatic acid was also frequently employed in the early days, hence the term “acid wash”). This deliberate discoloration gives them a blotchy, faded, no-funks-given kind of panache."
Kind of like tie dye but more extreme and without any real pattern/fucks given. Super easy, cheap and anyone can do it. You basically fuck up your clothing with bleach, then you can dye the bleached splotchy item with a color to give it more style. I use a spray bottle of bleach or just splatter it directly on the fabric, helps to put the clothing in a wadded up pile to create creases and areas unbleached. Very much part of punk culture for decades and a huge "fad" during the 80's and 90's.

This job wasn't as lonely as people thought. Aisha's actual assassinations were always a solo pursuit - other than her victims, who had to be there, of course - but there were a whole network of folks to support her through the rest. She had an ammunition guy, a poisons specialist, and a lawyer on retainer - plus a nail technician, because some other things were still important.
She did the dirty work, but she had other people to keep the rest of her endeavours squeaky clean. Literally, in some cases. The mundane jobs were important too: criminals might have money launderers to disguise the source of their ill-gotten gains, and industrial incinerators to dispose of any unwanted bodies, but they also needed a regular dry cleaner to launder their laundry.
As far as those went, Oluwatomiwo Onazi was the best in the business. He was the only guy in town who really knew how to get blood out of clothing - not just the visible stains, but the trace elements that came up in a forensics report, the individual strands of DNA that slipped between the threads and ended up a match to hairs left on the victim's pillow.
"Ah, the world's most beautiful murderer." Mr Onazi was also a notorious sweet talker. Besides the blood, there were rumours that he'd talked more than a few of his customers out of their clothing too. "How can I be of your assistance today?"
"Your specialty, I'm afraid." Aisha dumped her shirt onto the counter. She'd finished off her latest mark up-close and personal, and the blood had stained a rather fetching tie-dye pattern up her sleeves.
"Not a problem at all." He unfurled his latest patient, smoothing out the creases with exaggerated care and fussing over the rumpled collar. "We'll get this looking right as rain again in no time, don't you worry about that."
"Thank you," Aisha said, smiling at his customer service patter. "For the discretion, too. I assume that goes without saying."
"I don't know what you mean." Mr Onazi returned her smile and treated her to a stage wink. "You cut your fingers chopping vegetables, wasn't it? Or was it just the beetroot stain? This is just my job, you know: no questions, only answers. You get your hands dirty, and I wash them for you."
"Well, it's certainly appreciated," she told him. "Speaking of which, how do I pay you? Do you take cash?"
Aisha had a nice stack of clean bills ready from the last job. It was easier if she didn't have to integrate them first, and see her money launderer take his cut in the process. That was a bit like paying Peter to pay Paul.
"I'll take a favour, if that's all good with you."
"A favour?"
"You know, in case I ever need some help preparing vegetables myself. Until then, your tab here will be free. You can come back as often as you like. In fact, I hope you do."
He vanished into a backroom with the shirt under one arm, and left her standing at the counter, unexpectedly warm in the cheeks. Aisha wasn't often flustered, but there was something about his easy-going manner that found a way under her guard. Perhaps it was the closeness of the air in here, she thought: the shop was well-heated, in a cosy sort of way, and heavy with that freshly cleaned cloth scent.
"Can you keep a secret?" he called out from behind a half-closed door.
"Discretion goes without saying," she reminded him. "Is it beetroot related?"
"The opposite. Come, have a look."
Aisha slipped over the counter, feeling intrigued and a little bit honoured to be invited into the inner sanctum. For all she knew, Mr Onazi pulled this trick on everyone he wanted to impress, but that would be because it was a winning strategy. The room on the other side of the door was a tighter squeeze for two people, and less well lit, for which Aisha was grateful. She could feel the heat rising on her face again, and the shirt's unwanted patch of red was enough for him to be focusing on for now.
"Now that we're alone..." he said, with a pause that left her dwelling on a whole new range of possibilities. "I assume that you've never killed a vampire in your line of work?"
"Not to my knowledge." Aisha hadn't even been sure that vampires existed, outside the folk stories that everybody knew. But she'd killed an awful lot of people.
"Oh, you'd know. They're tough enough to deal with on purpose." Mr Onazi reached into a black felt bag, and held up a clear vial for her inspection. "This is vampire blood. I have to keep it here, in the dark, you see."
"Vampire blood is... colourless?"
"Why did you think they're so pale?" He spoke as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, and she found herself just nodding along. "I mean, think about it. They wouldn't be after our blood if they had the same stuff themselves. We must have something they lack, and they can only get from us."
"Of course." Aisha wasn't sure what to say next. "That's fascinating and all, and thank you for showing me, but why exactly are you telling me all of this? Do you need me to... get you some?"
That tickled him. "Ha, no, although I will keep that favour in reserve. I just wanted to show you how the magic happened."
Mr Onazi spread out her shirt upon a stainless steel table, like the kind of place a surgeon kept their tools, and poured a few drops of the liquid on the stain. To Aisha's amazement, the blood began to disappear.
"Voila," he said.
"That's incredible." She found her mind fighting to rationalise the miracle before her eyes, like the scientific side of her brain was rebelling against this sudden witchcraft. Aisha had taken biology in school, but that had been a hell of a long time ago, and she was pretty sure that vampires hadn't been on the syllabus. "Is this something to do with the way white blood cells break stuff down? Do they only have white cells, which feed on our red ones?"
Mr Onazi only shrugged, with the same casual air that informed all his other movements. "Truly, I have no idea - no more than I know why white wine clears out red, if you spill some on a tablecloth. Actually, I don't even know if that one really works; it's never been a method that I've had to use. But where blood is concerned, white beats red out every time."
They stood and watched it work awhile. It was hypnotic, really, especially standing together in close quarters. Aisha shivered to imagine the effect this innocent-looking liquid would have on the blood without her veins, if a vampire pressed his mouth upon her neck: like a spider pouring digestive fluids deep inside their prey, beginning to dissolve her from the inside out. Mr Onazi, who must have seen this performance a hundred times, stood perfectly still. Was it her imagination, or did he seem to grow in the shadows?
"There's only one problem," he said, his voice a whisper in the gloom.
"What's that?"
"You can no longer wear this shirt in sunlight, I'm afraid." The more he spoke, the more his voice returned to the affable tone he'd had outside. "It'll have to be for evening wear only from now on. I know it's hard to believe, but a few moments under direct sun and it will burst right into flames."
"Oh," Aisha said, jolted back into the here-and-now. The promise of another miracle, and her mind was suddenly swimming with ideas for her next assassination. "No, no, that's fine. I'm sure I'll find a way to make it work."

How Do You Make Your Braids Beautiful?
Today's content will introduce 5 different ways of braiding hair that every beauty-loving woman can use before attending an important occasion.
1. The sewing Sewing is a safer way to do it. Leave the braids in place until you are ready to remove them.
To prepare for this style, you'll need a needle and thread to braid your full lace human hair wigs.
The two most common sewing methods for knitting patterns are round back or straight back. The weave pattern required usually depends on how you want to place extensions or parts. You need to consult the person who is sewing your hair so they can best guide you. When you're done knitting, you'll need needles and thread. Thread through the needle and tie the knot to first hold the thread in place. Then, starting on either side of the back, push the needle through the weave, then pull the thread all the way out, and repeat. In this approach, threads lock tracks into the braid layer and are therefore very robust. In addition, this method is easy to remove!
2. The glue Hair gel is one of the easiest and fastest! But it can be the most destructive, depending entirely on the installation sewn into the braid. The first method is to weave or loosen the natural color 27 hair and then put a knitting cap on the head. The hat acts as a barrier between the long wigs and the glue. Measure the track required for each layer, glue it together, and apply pressure to the head. This style is often referred to as "fast knitting".
Tumblr media
3. The crochet First, crochet the hair directly back. If you want some hair or curls, I recommend this style as the visible appearance of the coil will not show up compared to the possibility of straight hair. Next, pass the needle through the fabric, open the latch on the needle, add the hair, close the latch, and then voila! All done! Unless you're someone who really doesn't want to get your hair done, this is your way! You can always sit and watch your favorite movie, loop, loop!
4. The clip Often, people who want to add some extra length to their hair will use hair and clips that are already worn on the track. It's really fast. The clip is also the world's newest and greatest thing natural hair. The cutest tongs for high school students and kids! Even celebrities use it, which is their name -- clips. To install, simply separate the unfurled hair and clip it to the scalp like a comb. For example, if you're wearing natural braids and want a complete look, clips are great to use. You don't even need to add much, maybe just two or three clips around certain parts of the head to make you look more complete.
5. Micro link Microlinking is a cumbersome installation method that can take three to four hours to complete. It requires a specially trained hairdresser to install it. For micro links, you must have a clamping tool to install the extension. Micro links are loops that apply to every strand of your hair. Your natural hair goes through the loop and then extends to the next one. Each time the hair passes through the loop, clip it into the holding part. Once installed, you can almost treat it as yourself. Of course, assuming the hair is 100% virgin, you'll be able to wash, cut, style, and dye it.
The seamless natural look looks more realistic and doesn't let people experience awkward situations.

"Hey Dude"
I just ordered this pair of shoes, and I'm pretty excited. I love the black canvas of the shoe, the multicolor splatter design, and the color of the logo on the tongue.
I have a pair that is gray canvas but more in the style and shape of a sneaker with the slip on shoelaces; the laces are tie dye gray and pink along with sporty stripes of the same pattern on the outside of the shoe but the inside is blue, gray, and pink splotched. They are super lightweight and amazingly comfortable.
I stand on my feet for eight hours a day and walk a lot. My feet are cushioned and I feel nothing but comfort with each step, as well as when I'm just standing.
They do fit a bit big - I ordered my regular shoe size and they are just a little roomy which isn't a bad thing. I wouldn't necessarily downsize when ordering.
I highly recommend these shoes. You will have comfort that lasts all day, lightweight shoes that aren't hot on your feet, and easy to put on since the laces don't require being tied. Plus, you can make 4 easy payments and they arrive within 4-7 days.

TRENDY AND AFFORDABLE: 8 ETHNIC JUMPSUITS FOR BABY GIRLS
Tumblr media
Are you looking to dress up your little princess in style without breaking the bank? Look no further than ethnic jumpsuits for baby girls! These adorable outfits combine the comfort of a jumpsuit with the charm of ethnic designs, making them perfect for any occasion. Whether it's a family gathering, a festive celebration, or a casual day out, ethnic jumpsuits add a touch of flair to your baby girl's wardrobe. Here are eight trendy and affordable options to consider:
1. Floral Fiesta: Embrace the beauty of nature with a floral-printed ethnic jumpsuit for your baby girl. Delicate flowers in vibrant hues adorn the soft fabric, creating a cheerful and playful look that's perfect for summer outings or picnics in the park.
2. Peppy Peplum: Add a touch of sophistication to your baby girl's wardrobe with a peplum-style ethnic jumpsuit. The fitted bodice and flared peplum hemline create a flattering silhouette, while intricate embroidery or embellishments add a touch of elegance to the ensemble.
3. Charming Chanderi: Elevate your baby girl's style with a Chanderi ethnic jumpsuit. Known for its lightweight texture and subtle sheen, Chanderi fabric adds a touch of luxury to any outfit. Opt for pastel shades and delicate embroidery for a graceful and refined look.
4. Bold Block Prints: Make a statement with bold block prints on your baby girl's ethnic jumpsuit. Geometric patterns, tribal motifs, or abstract designs in contrasting colors create a striking visual impact, perfect for festive occasions or family gatherings.
5. Ruffled Rompers: Add a playful twist to your baby girl's wardrobe with a ruffled romper-style ethnic jumpsuit. Soft ruffles along the neckline or sleeves add a whimsical touch, while comfortable elasticized waistbands ensure a snug fit for active little ones.
6. Traditional Tie-Dye: Channel bohemian vibes with a tie-dye ethnic jumpsuit for your baby girl. Vibrant colors and swirling patterns create a unique and eye-catching look that's perfect for summer festivals or beach vacations.
7. Embroidered Elegance: Exude timeless elegance with an embroidered ethnic jumpsuit for your baby girl. Intricate thread work, mirror embellishments, or sequin detailing add a touch of opulence to the outfit, making it perfect for special occasions or cultural celebrations.
8. Printed Palazzos: Keep your baby girl cool and comfortable in a printed palazzo-style ethnic jumpsuit. Wide-leg pants in lightweight fabrics like cotton or linen allow for ease of movement, while playful prints add a fun and youthful vibe to the ensemble.
When shopping for ethnic jumpsuits for your baby girl, keep comfort, quality, and affordability in mind. Look for soft, breathable fabrics that won't irritate your baby's delicate skin, and opt for well-constructed designs that offer a comfortable fit. Additionally, choose options that are easy to care for, so you can spend less time worrying about laundry and more time enjoying precious moments with your little one.
