Naturally, Mic isn't shy about telling stories about himself, Eraserhead, Midnight and Ingentium. He is an invited guest on absolutely every show, and on his show he chats about them.

In fact, Tenko only found out who Eraserhead was because he was a nerd and radio was a thing for nerds.

The canon fits perfectly here (????). That only Izuku recognized Eraserhead on the first day of school. Izuku is OBVIOUSLY a nerd, so it wasn't difficult for him to relate what he sees to Mic's eternal descriptions of ERASERHEAD in his show. He's a smart guy and has devoted literally his whole life to this kind of stuff.

(But Jirou is not. Therefore, even taking into attention the fact that she is also a fan of Mic and listened to every one of his shows, she was not able to collect these details and identify the Aizawa's hero)

Surprised this hasn't been asked yet, but Earphone Jack and Voice? I could easily see Kyoka being Mic's niece, so it'd be interesting to see how their Quirks mix.

New Quirk Name: Microphone or Sound System

This Transformation type Quirk allows the user to make a series of small buds resembling mics around their face and neck. These mics amplify sound coming in and out of the body, letting them empower the sounds they make and the sounds they hear over medium ranges. The user can apply parts of their body to make sonic attacks, such as making weak heart beats or powerful screams. The mics can pick up other sounds better, like hearing people talk form afar or hearing vibrations through the earth. The user can extend the mics off their body up to a short range, helping them more precisely apply the affect, and use multiple mics together to enhance them. This gives the user a powerful mix of options, capable of being useful in any of situations. They can break up parts of the terrain, disorient their foes with loud sounds, pick up on enemy movement, slam the microphones into people to shake up their body, or simply talk to someone really far away. Though using the Quirk too much can end up causing feedback issues with the mics, inhibiting their ability to apply the vibrations through the mics. The mics can still be damaged and cut off, limiting the user's powerful, and the Quirk can be rather indiscriminate with sound that can causes risks, both going out and coming it.

Just look at our noise babies tearing up the battlefield in revenge for their friends! I love the similarities between Present Mic and Jirou; both have similar styles and quirks, and their energy is fantastic. The comparisons made between them are great; first we had the hand-based amplifiers (check out this fic exploring that idea https://archiveofourown.org/works/29109339) and now we’ve got this new scene! Super excited to see what more Jirou’s got in store for us as she launches in the next epic showdown.
